Hello and welcome to Episode 101 of the Unqualified Game Chat. I am your host Azar Lopez, and with me today is no other than my friend, my brother, Spencer the Legacy. Hello, hello I apologize for laughing. Zarya and I were having a regular conversation. I don't know where he goes. Fuck it. Let's do the five. And he starts recording. i had a feeling I had a feeling the story that I was telling was going to get really good. And I was like, fuck, I can't replicate. I can't replicate this. And then right away, my dog ah needs to go outside. OK, one second. I'm going to put these dogs outside. We'll be back, everyone. As you can see in the background, Zarya's PlayStation 5 is there.
00:01:06
Speaker
Uh, I don't know if that orange light is a reflection or if it's an arrest mode, it's hard to tell. All right. Whoa. All right. That was a great beginning to a podcast. I was watching ah like just some other podcasts and I think we have them beat. So yeah, we got them.

Press Event and City Driving Challenges

00:01:23
Speaker
this not Okay. So as I was saying before the listeners interrupted, um,
00:01:31
Speaker
we I went to a press event yesterday, and I was going to hang out with the editor-in-chief of Monster Vine, Will. Friend of the show. oh regular a Regular listener. Regular with friend of the show, Will. will The most wonderful man. Yes, but I didn't end up going. like The event got out 5 PM in San Francisco,
00:02:00
Speaker
It's not a fun time to be driving. It's like, yeah, I got stuck on the bridge a couple of times. It was a two and a half hour drive easily turns to four and a half on those. That's a long drive.

Anime and Driving

00:02:17
Speaker
How did you keep yourself entertained? Um, so this is probably bad and I don't advise anyone to do this.
00:02:26
Speaker
Um, I put my phone where my, for like the mileage and all that stuff is on the car, right in front of the steering wheel. I don't know what the speedometer odometer odometer. Um, I put my phone right there and I just, I just watch anime, man. Oh no.
00:02:46
Speaker
What's this going to do and why is the movie watching the anime on your foot? You're watching like, yeah, my car has those over. My car has like the ah it keeps you in the lane and it yeah you get a set, whatever. So I just kind of put it. I just kind of said it and quit hulking. I'm trying to catch up to one before the hiatus ends to my ah to my credit. I only watch dubs during this time so I can listen more than um Watch. I will. I will say that the. ah um You miss a lot of the action scenes. I watch that when you walk in and when driving you, you miss some stuff. Yeah, I completely. I think I watched the entire season of Shangri-La is when the one I. Wow. other very one I think it's a Korean one. I'm not sure. um Was it Magwa or?
00:03:42
Speaker
um Like Manwan, I think. Yeah, it's called Manwan. I call everything manga. And if you don't like a comic book, I guess. like I hate that. i hate that store Before the term Manwan was like popularized, they could only call Korean um books that came out either webtoons or comic books. they couldn't And before that, they were all graphic novels. everyone they're all a Little did they know.
00:04:09
Speaker
Well, they know here in the West, they're mangas. They're all mangas. I say manga, and people are like, what? And I'm like... They do not. I want to say it correctly, but I don't want to come off as like... It's manga. Something like manga. It's manga. But it is manga, so I'm going to say it properly. And if you have a problem with that, you can...
00:04:36
Speaker
Say it properly because you shouldn't say it wrong.

Meeting Game Preview Deadlines

00:04:40
Speaker
Okay, so continuing the San Francisco story, I get home 9.30. I check my emails, so as one does when they get home. There's a fairy tube preview and it's very ti tune that is embargoed for right now for today at 6 a.m. i I played it. I recorded it. I had not written it.
00:05:06
Speaker
I had not done audio. So here it is, 10 o'clock. I said, I said, babe, put the, put the kennel on the, put the kennel on the stove. Cause it's going to be an all nighter. Um, I wrote, ah did audio and edited that video literally in two hours. Wow. That's pretty good. Yeah. Yeah. We had you editing Ace Bonanza. These videos would actually come out. Tell me about it. Tell me about it. It's like,
00:05:35
Speaker
i think I think at this point in my life, it's so easy for me to form opinions on games or form sentences. like it Once you start, it comes really naturally. Previews themselves are ah pretty easy, but I had a lot to say about this game because I do think that it deserves some type of like a little bit of setup because it's not it's not the metaphor. you know it's not the visions of mana. It is a, it is a very budgeted game. It's like, it's but emmet it's an anime game, which means it's facing a reputation.
00:06:11
Speaker
that look at Bondi this week where they are doing layoffs because they cut however many games because they were putting out too much and it wasn't of high quality. That's insane. Yeah, it's nuts. I mean, I get it. Like Kijutsu Kaisen was

Bandai Namco Layoffs Discussion

00:06:25
Speaker
not nearly what it could have been. And it wasn't the only recent anime game like that. so they have a hugh Bandai has a huge new office in LA area. I think it's in Irvine.
00:06:37
Speaker
um Huge. invite usful Beautiful. Beautiful. Yeah. I, yeah. If they allow it, I'm down. Um, yeah, I saw some people doing studio tours and I'm like, is it, if this is a thing, I'll, I'll start scheduling it. If like, if people like this kind of stuff, I'll be on like an iPad with wheels. I, yeah I just think it's annoying. yeah I don't think anyone will.
00:07:03
Speaker
No, I shouldn't say that. Actually it's fine. I just, I just don't know how many people are eager to hear about what the community manager thinks of a game. Think of the, as kids watching G4 and shit, when you would see like the inside of studios and be like, that's cool.
00:07:20
Speaker
just yeah and yeah Just seeing the inside of it and like walking around and you'd be like, wow, that looks like the coolest place to work ever. so i mean Just that alone is like and the talking to staff part, I'm sure lots of people would be like, whoa. There's only been one there's even been one office. and and This is not a developer, these are publishers. so yeah This is completely different than what a developer's office would look like. But there's only one like publisher office that I went to that just did it
00:07:51
Speaker
Didn't, they didn't do it for me and it was axis. Sorry, axis, but it was just dark and kind of dreary and like very messy. Uh, I don't know. One studio tour and it was in Toronto. I think it was 9am games or something. That was neat. Oh, cool.
00:08:14
Speaker
That was years ago now, but I'm trying to, I think I sent an NDA or something there. Maybe cut that. Maybe not. I don't know. That was like years ago, but it was very cool to see that, um especially in Toronto, but I always will send me like pictures of the Square Enix one and stop and I'd be like, Oh, what?
00:08:33
Speaker
to go in there. I want to go to Square Enix Japan and see the Sephiroth. Yeah, it's great. See, that's the thing. Like Square Enix America is not as cool as Square Enix Japan. I'll tell you that much. I'll go to Capcom. I want to go there. Oh, Capcom. Capcom has just got a new Western office, but it's literally across the the hall from their old office or the cross like a walkway. You have to go outside to another building, but it's just like across the next. Oh, I went to a party at Zynga.
00:09:03
Speaker
But it was the office that used to be Sega of America. So the whole time I was like, wow, this used to be Sega. Oh, yeah. every that I that. That's San Francisco office, huh? That was a cool office. This is where they were inspired by Sonic Adventure. too They had like all the floors. like Yeah, they had the Sonic couch. They had all the cows on the little couch. I wish I was here when I was sick.
00:09:32
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. When I went there, it was, it was during like GDC. So no one was there. I was just doing like a, I think I was playing Sonic. Uh, what's that bad one that no one liked, uh, all of them. Uh, no, anyone, anyone who says that is my enemy. And so I'll be clear about that in the podcast. Uh, was it forces?
00:09:54
Speaker
Yeah. would have Yeah. Yeah. It was horses because they were showing me the create a sonic. Yeah. The forces is pretty good. Is it really that bad? The level designs are very good. i am I imagine that furries and Sonic heads would have just loved that character creator. would um let you Why But not only that, but also.
00:10:18
Speaker
the The one positive is the story is really stupid in a fun way. Like, there'll be a scene where they're like, Sonic's been tortured for two months by Eggman. And that cuts us off each other. He's like, I'm gonna get out of here. Easy peasy. You're like.

Recap of Survivor Episodes

00:10:30
Speaker
What? What? That's a total dissonance. I don't understand. And then like the the main villain's mad because Shadow called him cringe and that's like his whole motivation. it very um Doesn't play. It's not very fun to play, but they fixed it because frontiers rock. So yeah, so we're all good. Super size is fun.
00:10:50
Speaker
I'm waiting. I'm excited for generations X shadow. So yeah, it's a Sonic Sonic never Sonic ever seems to slow down, you know, is the fastest thing alive.
00:11:03
Speaker
I, okay. So, um, put out the fairy tale two thing. I do have something that I wanted to talk about. Oh, you know what? Before I forget survivor talk. water Okay guys. So I missed last week. I know. And I'm sorry, but, uh, Andy, the guy who had a mental breakdown, he's still in.
00:11:23
Speaker
this e-sports caster, his name is Rome. He's like an e-sports like, uh, newscaster. He's very much like every e-sports newscaster I've ever met. Like the ego is there. The, the false, like, so weird thing now when he goes you know,
00:11:42
Speaker
Like it rubs off on you. You know, when you're a bad-ass at street fighter, I can imagine walking around and just like expecting a little bit of respect from everyone else around you from, from the teller at save Mark, you know? oh my god it at evil Excuse me. Do you know who the fuck I am? um So, so he's like on some power trip, man. And everybody is like rallying behind him. And there's this, there's this Asian man named Saul. And he's like,
00:12:12
Speaker
No, I don't like this kid. I don't like, I'm not going to work with him. And so Rome, the bad guy, he starts following the guy, Saul everywhere around. Like they're, they're definitely giving Rome the villain edit cause he's like following him around. So he doesn't find any idols and stuff like that. Um, and so Saul's annoyed. So Saul openly hates.
00:12:34
Speaker
Rome openly tells everyone I'm never not gonna vote for him. Tell Saul too, or tells Rome to his face, I'm gonna vote for you, man. Like leave me alone, dude. And Rome's, everyone's rallying behind Rome because he does have an idol and he also has a stillier vote. Like he he he did day one, he got like two boons. But ah so everyone's kind of behind him because he has that much power right now.
00:13:04
Speaker
But this one guy, I forgot his name, K. Sean. Oh, K. Sean's his name. Uh, he, uh, just said, Hey guys, let's turn on Rome. Let's just vote, ah vote Rome out. The girl, Genevieve told Rome, Rome just said, you know what? Everyone voted for him. So everyone voted for K. Sean. Wow. So Saul.
00:13:30
Speaker
Like he, like, this is just like the gamer, like that. Like, like for a gamer, it makes sense because Rome clearly needs an antagonist to perform at top level. Like, like he needs, he needs Saul, like And just the fact that one person threw his name out there and right away, like he takes that, he takes them out. Like he, he tells everyone to take him them out. Insane how weak of a person, like how, like it's, it's, you got to watch survivor event. It's mental fucking games.
00:14:05
Speaker
And I will say, Rome is, Rome is cool. Like he's playing the game. He's, he's all, he's annoying for sure, but he's, he's definitely playing the game, but not making any friends. I do not think he has a chance of winning because he's made too many enemies. And at the end of the thing, the play though, the players have to do a jury to vote the top three. um But anyway, so Keishan's out. do it Asia from their team got out again because Rome made everyone do that. So, Rome's team, two weeks in a row, Asia's gone, Keishan's gone. Tonight's the night. Next week, we'll check back in. Whoa. Their team's running out. sir They haven't done the merge yet, but it's getting exciting. That's interesting. I haven't watched survivor news, but that sounds exciting. and
00:14:53
Speaker
Yeah, you got to get in now before season 50. See, that's not season 50. That's so crazy. I think they do two or three a year. I'm new. I'm a new survivor head. That's, I'm so excited about

Critique of 'Unknown 9'

00:15:05
Speaker
it. Um, but other than that, uh, Spencer, I've been playing a game and I kind of want to like thought about, cause the review will be out by the time this posts, but I'm playing a game and there's a lot of,
00:15:22
Speaker
um the division, every time we post a review, and I don't know if you get this as well, but someone will comment, is it woke? So on every video review, it seems like someone along the line will say, is it woke? and a black person or gay individual in the day it's It's very annoying very annoying ah ah question to answer because I want to respect their curiosity.
00:15:51
Speaker
But I also know that they are not here to talk. You know, they probably just came in there. They're probably commenting on every, they have every bad intention in the world. Yeah. Yeah. So, okay. So So i think it's I think one of the big for people that they watch out for is this company called Sweet Baby, Inc. And we've heard about them oh my god ti to death. And that's not what I want to talk about. yeah I don't i't give a shit about that. That was the whole thing. Yeah. um But they did work on, I believe they did contribute, um at least from what I've seen in headlines and on credible websites, um
00:16:28
Speaker
that they did contribute to, uh, consulting on a unknown nine. This game that's unknown nine awakening, I believe is the full name. So the review will be out tomorrow. Um, and I'm torn, man. I'm really torn because on the one hand, uh,
00:16:50
Speaker
the game is trash, yeah but I don't think it has anything to do with any consulting already. Yeah. Uh, Hey, you know, people are going to attach onto that. Yeah. You know, the woke go broke you know, what's, you know, what's, I mean, you know, what's like confusing to me though is I saw a launch live stream from, I think the team ah that's working on in is Swedish. Um, but, uh, they did a live stream. I think Marcus from game and former was hosting it.
00:17:28
Speaker
And i so I was watching a little bit of it and seeing what the developer was saying, but he was saying like, yeah, we said it in India. And when I started on this project, I didn't really know a lot about India. And then I learned about it. And now where we have it in the game and we thought it was like important to showcase this, but in my head, all I can think of is like, dude, why didn't you just base it in Sweden?
00:17:48
Speaker
Yeah, if you don't know anything about it. Yeah. Like, dude, chill. What are you saying right now? Do your next game there. Do your research now while you do the Sweden game or something. I was really trying to like what he was saying on that stream. I was like, Oh man, dude, you're saying the wrong things right now. Like you're sending yourself off to get annoying comments.
00:18:11
Speaker
Yeah. Okay. So gameplay solid. The, the actual, the actual game flow of a unknown nine is respectable and very like uncharted esque. You're just moving from one point to the next years. You're taking down enemies, you're solving little of puzzles. Um, the problem is in unknown nine, her special skill is to rip people's souls out of their bodies. Okay. Cool. That's awesome.
00:18:40
Speaker
I want to relate it to Nathan Drake because this game is so relatable to that. Nathan Drake shoots people from afar. um A lot of, a lot of this game relies on guns and that separation of disbelief or just like you're not looking the person in the eye when you, I don't know, it makes it a little more arcadey. It makes it a little easier to digest. I would say that the death scenes in unknown nine are very powerful. They're very well animated. You're literally lifting the person up and um and then throwing them down, watching their soul. And they explain that the when the person dies, their soul is just lingering for eternity. no In this place called The Folds. So you play as the girl, and I already forgot her name, um but you play as her and she... um
00:19:32
Speaker
You play as the the, like where she's like discovering her powers and the the the teacher is like teaching and the teacher's like, this is how you remove their souls. And she does it for her. She's like, now you try. Now you can do the next one or something like something stupid like that. And this is the first time that this girl is removing someone's soul and she does it.
00:19:53
Speaker
And they just move on. And in my head, I was like, oh, this is fucking bad. 10 minutes later, dude, these wounded soldiers are on the lining um the side of this road as you walk to the antagonist. And this is still the prologue, mind you. I'm not spoiling anything. This is literally the first 30 minutes. And these wounded soldiers that are like, they have sand on them. They just suffered through a sandstorm. they could They're on the floor. yeah ah They're like throwing up. You can go up behind them and stealth kill them.
00:20:21
Speaker
yeah but So I did that, i did that to all I did that to all five of the wounded soldiers. The teacher said, I was expecting the teacher to be like, that's not how you use your powers or you need to, you nothing. Didn't say a fucking word. The whole entire game, dude, is never addressed. There's not a chapter in this game where this girl's like, let me fucking deal with me just killing everybody. I'm telling you, dude, they and and then after this prologue, they time skip you to where she already has all these other abilities and she's mastered everything. So you completely missed whatever years
00:20:58
Speaker
that were in that time skip, yeah you missed the most important part of this character's characterization, and that was a huge misstep. Because because with Uncharted, like there's no remorse, but it's very pulpy. It's like it's supposed to be like Indiana Jones, where Indiana Jones, yeah it's not about deep character drama, it's about Whoa, excitement, wow. Yeah. And and i think I think because it's like that Mission Impossible, like, next skill, next skill, next skill, you know, like John Wick, you know, it's like... You don't think of it as like killing people. But I feel like it was a huge misstep to not allow this character to feel emotional about the way that she's killing these people. Even something like the Tomb Raider reboot, which like, it's not my favorite, but... the way that like you can kill your first enemy and she's like, Oh my God, like she's very heavily impacted by, which is good because then, you know, she has no issue killing the rest, but that's something like it's it's more than at least shows like, it shows that breaking point in this game. You never see this breaking point of like, like this is just, it's it's described as just this person's job. And, and from there you are literally moving from one area to the next.
00:22:19
Speaker
Cheezing your way, the environments are forgettable, the collectibles don't really like, there's collectibles, but. Um, it's shame because you could do something interesting with her not reacting to it where you you could be like, this is a job. But then throughout the game, it's like, Oh, like she, their mind starts to be like changing because she's like, Oh, this is kind of fucked up that she meets people. Or she's like, Oh, the, this is actually having an impact. Yeah. I would just so liked, I would have just liked something her to recognize that. And, and I would like to, because that, uh,
00:22:57
Speaker
it it basically means there's no character growth in this game is what i'm trying to say there is zero she doesn't she doesn't. I don't know like i'm still trying to figure out her powers i can only imagine that she would be too and i would have just like to be a part of that.
00:23:16
Speaker
learning period. i would have liked to be I would have liked to see her come to terms with this this way of living and and her mission at hand because the mission starts off, you're just trying to for revenge. You're trying to get revenge for your teacher.
00:23:34
Speaker
and this really terrible antagonist who's just this weird skinny white man who looks like a magician and very, the things he said, like he dresses like a magician and like, it's just very weird. It's all, it's all like, and then there's like this other side character who she just trusts. She meets him on a boat and he points a gun at the, like she meets this guy. She, she pays this guy to,
00:24:04
Speaker
put her boat her across a river. And then the the one of the other people on the boat, these guards come and the guy shoots both the guards on another boat. And then he aims a good the gun at the driver of the boat. And it's like, no, you're going to continue taking us to this island or I'm going to shoot you. And the guy's like, okay. And he takes him back. And then the girl's like, that was why like, why did you do that? Who are you? Blah, blah, blah. And he's like, I'm here. And she joins up with him.
00:24:33
Speaker
Like, I mean, that's in line. She doesn't object to killing them. Yeah. Yeah. youre right like Yeah. Yeah. It lights up completely with her ah with her character. um Just like to me, like the kind of game where it's like more bewildering than anything.
00:24:50
Speaker
Yeah, it's like you're missing an important piece and they have all these other novelizations. Like they have this web series going on and they have like these book companions and these comic companions. So I, I get, they're trying to do this whole mixed media thing, but they missed a lot of core character development in lieu of making the game feel like I'm playing as a woman. I think it does a great job at that. um The controls suck. That is nothing, but like the actions that she has, sometimes I just like press all the buttons because I forget what does what, yeah but I know something will do something. Like either she'll morph inside somebody if she can, or she'll, um,
00:25:40
Speaker
I don't know, uh, push them back or something like to, to push them back, you have to hit L2, but to pull them forward, you have to hold L2. Like that really, you think it would be r to yeah, that confuses the fuck out of me sometimes. Um, so like, all yeah, I'll have like, uh, I'll have, there'll be like a tank that I want to push them into and I ended up pulling them towards me and like, God damn it. Um,
00:26:04
Speaker
bad controls, um, but they have a lot of accessibility options. You can make the game as easy as you want. I think you should put it up a little higher, the difficulty, at least if you're going to be playing this game, because you're, you're going to want to, if you get caught, you're going to want to die because if you stick around, you're going to see how fucking terrible this AI is. You're going to, you're going to, you're going to learn how to take advantage of them because dude, they're, they're just the AI is like, Oh,
00:26:29
Speaker
yeah You know, like no, Oh, my friend's dead. Okay. You know, like, Oh my God, it is the best PS3 game released in 2024 is the best. ah Yeah. PS3 action adventure released in 2020.

The Role of Consulting in Game Development

00:26:48
Speaker
That's an interesting description. But I don't want people to think that what I'm trying to get at is what I don't want people to think that this has anything to do with the consulting. And I know that that's what it's going to come down to. The comments are going to be like a disaster. Yeah. Yeah. There's going to be nothing that I can say to point them. Otherwise they're going to blame everything. And I don't think it has anything. I didn't mind the Indian character. I thought she was cool. I, uh,
00:27:13
Speaker
I thought, I mean, everything just like, it's just bad. It has nothing to do with like the setting or like the characters. It's just the writing's bad, the character growth's bad, the ah repetition of doing the same thing over and over and over again. Cause you just rely on the same um set of tools throughout the game. And like I said, she never addresses that she's a fucking murderer. I don't know. It just doesn't like. And if they went for that like uncharted, like daring, not like not slow or serious tone, then it could work. But it's hard when it sounds like from what you're telling me, the story aims to be more impactful and like heavier.
00:28:03
Speaker
with like the teacher and the boa. So it seems like that's like a dissonance. There's like a clash there between the gameplay and the story. It's definitely missing a core piece in the beginning. Oh, my God. The first opening cutscene is so effing ugly, dude. I don't know why. And then the game looks better in the next cut scene. That is odd. Yeah. I'll show you a screenshot.
00:28:31
Speaker
something
00:28:52
Speaker
That's her model in the opening cutscene. That's like, uh, that's reminiscent of the really bad screenshots of like the rebirth weird lighting performance. Oh yeah. the i like The lips look flat. That's very strange. For our audio listeners, honestly, it looks a little like the weird Assassin's Creed Unity models at the beginning. When you're getting like kind of a glitch kind of too where their eyes are kind of hollow. And they don't like anime, right? Yeah. Yeah, that's crazy. That's the opening cutscene. That's the first minute of the game and to show that
00:29:32
Speaker
as your first cinematic. I don't think the game's going anywhere. I'm giving it a 5.5 out of 10. the the writing is the right then like yeah When you open up your menu, they did spend a lot of time on these illustrations and the context. So if you do want to know stuff, you're going to have to read it.

um But I did does it still does not address like even I couldn't because the diary even sucks to navigate So like you got to like block out 30 minutes of your time to navigate it because it's updates anyway um That's all I wanted to talk about this that's that's a good breakdown and I think like you said I It's important because you're making it clear for people who are like, he's on our team about this. It's like, yeah, um'm I'm not on, I'm not on any teams. You guys don't associate with, with, uh, it's yeah, I'm down to call out what needs to be called out when it needs to be called out. But I don't think there's, I think there's way too many games to play then to
00:30:40
Speaker
Then to like, say that consultation companies aren't a valuable resource to developers because they are. And you'd be surprised how many of your favorite games went through. Consultating and play testing oh yeah and to become the way they are. The problem is, is like the developers, they live in these games for years and to them it's like, this is all they know.
00:31:04
Speaker
the Like, and then they're just watching you put a square peg into a round hole type of deal and they just have to like try to prevent that as much as possible. Yeah. Um, but anyway, look out for that review. I do hope the game does well. I do hope the series does well because they're, they're clearly building a world here. I just don't think that video games might be the medium to do it in if they're going to be doing it like this. Um, I think they could have pulled it off if they lowered their scope a little bit.
00:31:35
Speaker
Um, but yeah, it kind of sucks. Um, that's a shame. Yeah. and Um, do you have anything to, me not really. I started metaphor. I'm only like four hours in, but so far.

I'm loving the atmosphere and aesthetic. It's very different from SMT or Persona. So it's a very fun, like medieval-ish, but a bit after ah thing. I love the bosses so far. I'm having a very good time. but and Yeah, then a couple of games out there I can mention that I'm reviewing. So, yeah. Nice. Yeah, I'm working on a lot of review games, but also I'm working on a ah list for like steam the Steam Next Fest games.

Promoting Indie Games and Addressing Hypocrisy

00:32:26
Speaker
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. I'll put it on Friday. It got bigger than I thought it was going to get, and um I'm excited to like highlight some indie games. I've been on but on a campaign recently of just like trying to... Giving the spotlight to the little guy.
00:32:45
Speaker
I just, like i really do I really don't like hip hypocrites. you know and And I try to catch myself when I'm being a little hypocritical, but I think everyone can do a lot if they just try to like stop themselves from telling someone to not do something that they do. you know like We're not all saints, we're not all right. we are Our opinions are different.
00:33:12
Speaker
mike And I don't know. We're all just working with what we've got. Yeah. and Um, but under nine, it's a game. If you play, you'll play the best PS3 game from 2024. What's that quote from the Marge says, or and instead of it's an ending, it's a game and that's enough. And that's enough. And that's enough.
00:33:37
Speaker
Oh, they even have the walls, the tiny walls. They're just circles on. It's very dated. It's just it's all. I mean, at least it's not yellow paint, I guess. Yeah. Yeah, it's not. In fact, I would say I wish there was yellow paint to tell me where to go because I get lost so much in this game. I just don't know where to fucking go. I know you were fake gamers, are you? did i i I would. I think half of my imposter syndrome is that I am a fake gamer and one day And one day someone's just gonna figure it out that I was gonna be like, you're a fake gamer, you can't do a raging demon. That's why I don't play livestreams because I don't want people to judge the way I play games.
00:34:18

Everyone has a moment where they're like, oh, I'm sucking right now. That's okay. Dude, Silent Hill 2. I took, i right in the beginning, I didn't make a left into like this gate door area to get this key. And I was running up and down the starter section. And I was like, goddamn, Azario, you're high right now. You're still out. So get it together. Where am I? Okay, before the before the um podcast ends, I want to show.
00:34:44

You can like open it up and like, I don't want to though, but there's like a lot going on in there. Yeah. There's, there's, uh, like the grandpa guy, he's right here.
00:35:10
Speaker
I know living in America means you get sent cool stuff. that will Yeah. Well, I don't I don't even know if like media. I don't know which media still puts these together, but I'm so lucky.
