Hello and welcome to episode Unqualified Game Chat. I am your host, Azar Lopez, and with me today is the ever so brilliant, the ever so humble, the ever so giving, Spencer, the legacy, Spencer. Well, yes.
00:00:51
Speaker
You know, it is episode 100, as I said at the top of the show, but I don't feel like we deserve the. Like a celebratory episode. Like a celebratory episode. You know, a we cheated. Yeah. We're cheaters. We're chill. Like whatever. I can't believe you've done 100. That's crazy. But we haven't done it. We started in like 2021. So clock. Yeah. It's weird. Cause I don't know a goddamn thing about you, man.
00:01:19
Speaker
yeah Yeah, I expected this to elevate our friendship, but really, we've only gotten into several fights. It's only made, yeah, it's only made our relationship worse. Yeah, it's made us, we we really are just to and Greg now where it's just like silent. Yeah. Yeah. edit It comes, it comes with respect and time. Yes. It's true.
00:01:44
Speaker
and but Every single time we were at a break, it was actually us fighting. We were lying before. Yeah.

Humor Misunderstandings and Shaving Talk

00:01:52
Speaker
Well, I remember early on, people had a hard time um wrapping their heads around our humor. And they they got that. I got several messages, emails and Twitter um messages that were like, yeah, to be nicer to you.
00:02:12
Speaker
And they're, they were saying something like, uh, how post I could post a mission. It's, um, it's really funny. I'll find out. I appreciate everyone's concern, but everyone of them was like, you can see, I was there like, maybe you're not looking at Spencer's video when you're talking, but he's clearly upset that you're I'm famously upset. I would, I would cut off, I'd go off the podcast and I would weep for like, well, I just, I just know that they know that I am looking at myself the entire time. That is funny too. That's pretty good. I appreciate the concern everyone from long ago, but no, I'm, I'm, we're good. We're, we're, this is our,
00:02:56
Speaker
We're close friends. This is our thing. We don't know. If I was upset with this, I would chill. You know? Yeah, that hasn't happened in a while. Stop it. Stop. Go somewhere. Leave it. Sorry. I'm going to take them outside. That's what you're going to take. Hey, viewers and listeners. It's just me again. What's cooking, fellas? And fellettes. Not a term.
00:03:33
Speaker
Donzo. Donzo, baby. I shaved for 100th episode. How about that? That is impressive. And I didn't shave for 100 episode.
00:03:45
Speaker
i need I needed to because in the next PAX episode, I want it to be not shaped so that i like, you know, you just got to change a little bit. You got to switch it up. people go hey i if he's know Without the mustache, I barely recognized you. nice He's a little character.
00:04:03
Speaker
ah and what are they done with thesaro the silly movie guy.

Podcast Pride and Production Insights

00:04:07
Speaker
Um, I did this thing where I, I got kind of in my head on how unqualified we are on this podcast. And I decided to listen to some other podcasts and I must say we're pretty good. Pretty good. The the people, if you're looking for entertainment on a level of zero to 10, I think you're getting a nine with this show consistently in eight.
00:04:29
Speaker
But in the era when anyone can do a podcast and it fucking shows, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. Some of them just go, some of them just go on these nerdy rants and I could tell the other hosts are just like not into it at all. So they're, so you could see them typing on their stuff and now it's not even a conversation at that point. It's just one person talking to themselves. Yeah. It's like talking to the audience. It's like, damn. And also just the production that it's like,
00:04:55
Speaker
Like when I was like 18 making a the hearts podcast, I was, I had like a really good mentor. So I was doing really good editing tricks and yeah doing everything really particularly it would take me days to edit one episode. that's like yeah And then it's like, now it's, you don't, you might not see that on every podcast. Everything's automated. Everything's automated. I used to have a podcast where to post it to Apple and iTunes and stuff. You posted it to an ah FTP that was connected to an ah RSS feed site map. So you uploaded it to the FTP and then it shared it across. That's what I did too. Yeah. Kind of cool.
00:05:27
Speaker
I had to use Cyberduck. It felt like I was hacking, you know? It felt like I was a little hacker. I had to i to go in the little XML file. I had to type in how long the episode is and the description and stuff, and I would upload it to Cyberduck, my i ah server, so that everyone could listen to my Kingdom Hearts World podcast.
00:05:45
Speaker
And listen, they did. And listen, they do. Still do. It was like the second listed one on iTunes for a long time. And if we don't check, it still could be. So I choose to believe. Yeah, that's my truth. It's maybe even gone to one. It's Schrodinger's podcast. Yeah, I'd say it's.

Nostalgia in Gaming and Movies

00:06:04
Speaker
I'd say it's the best podcast on Apple. What's it called? What's the title? drop Drop the name. I haven't made a new up episode in like almost 10 years. It's been like eight years. That was the Kingdom Hearts World Podcast, KHW. It was ah the first 10 episodes aren't up anymore because they were not of the quality. That was early in the days that I took them down, but that was the podcast that I started. That was like my first good podcast that I got on iTunes.
00:06:30
Speaker
And we had the website, which I still, the website's still up because it's nostalgic to me. So I pay for it every year just because I like looking at it. Um, that's cool. It's nice. Yeah. It's good. ah Good old times. Me and my friends, Aidan and Grace and Nick, and we would all record. I'm going to imagine that the first 10 episodes, they're just hanging out in quadratum.
00:06:52
Speaker
Yeah, they are, essentially. he See? See? I know the terms. I know the terms. Crazy shit is that that didn't even friggin exist. Oh, but it did. Your little brain, your little brain, quadratum, existed from the beginning. It was just part in Nomer's eye, the twinkle. Back then I was 16 since 2012. You're a fake fan. 2012, so birth by sleep.
00:07:20
Speaker
This is the most... I don't know. Recoded was probably the most recent game. a What if we were in Quadratum all along? What if Quadratum is really versus 13 and Nomar is just finally making versus 13 after they made him make 15? I can... I saw a recent picture of him and I can tell why he doesn't do, like, big interviews anymore. He's definitely... He's gotten older,

Aging and Celebrity in Gaming

00:07:42
Speaker
isn't he? Yeah. Yeah.
00:07:44
Speaker
Yeah, he he did such a good job of making me like believe he was like his 35 year old, like sexy. He's like, like, yeah, like a little cute guy, a little cute, like emo, like a Japanese man. Like he used to be that. And that's how I imagine him. And I saw a recent picture of him and I was like, Oh, you're like, Oh, everyone ages. Yeah. yeah We get older now. ah He still looks the same. He just doesn't have the emo hair anymore.
00:08:08
Speaker
that's true That's probably more of a 2024 thing. than ah Like, it's like, oh, that's not really. yeah Other than that, ah I watched Beetlejuice too. Yeah. We had the same reaction pretty much. Yeah. i So on, there's like, there was a couple of criticisms on like the nostalgia factor of it. And I do believe that they found a great balance bi to between nostalgia and new shit. And I will say, I will add that I think that in the trailers, that's where they put all the nostalgia shit. None of that, none of that had ah any impact on the movie. And I, I appreciated that.
00:08:44
Speaker
Yeah, I appreciate it. Dude, the jokes are so fucking dry, though. It's crazy how Mike really went right back into it and just whipped out all the. It's like those jokes where you laugh five seconds later, but what sucks is like they're already saying new jokes, but you're laughing at the the one that you just. Yeah, that you just got. You just got it. We're just like bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. Very good writing. Very good writing. Very good pacing. They made it work.

Critique of Video Game Culture

00:09:13
Speaker
I thought the acting was amazing. Goofy piece of writing is where obviously they weren't going to have Alec Baldwin and Gia Davis because they were like, that's too many characters. But they're just like, aren't they supposed to be here? And they're like, we found a loophole and moved on.
00:09:27
Speaker
Sometimes I was like, okay. I will say that the conclusion, the ending, the last maybe 10, 15 minutes is the best 10, 15 minutes of cinema. it is just It is just one beat after another of excellent just ah just like excitement. you're like on a para It's like you're on a parade and you're just like watching this amazing thing go on up until the conclusion where you see Santa Claus at the end, but it just happens to be fucking belgies.
00:09:56
Speaker
I mean, I had an excellent use of their 1F bomb for a PG-13 movement. It was very funny. I was very surprised. I also went into that movie ah hoping to unenjoy it. I was like, I love the first Beetlejuice immensely. So I was like, oh, I hope this is OK. OK, but it was good. It was like actually fun and and good. so like Very happy.
00:10:21
Speaker
ah What else happened? Pax day two is on the site. Go watch it. Sorry. Sadly, Spencer was not in this one. He will, he will be in the next Pax video. I can guarantee that he will have, maybe he'll give him his own slot. but Like why couldn't, why can't we do ah net ah like a like, uh,
00:10:42
Speaker
Like an intermission, a Spencer intermission in each day where he yeah goes on, where he really, where he tells it like it is. I, Kevin Smith, like Cusco, it, I mean, it goes black and white and pauses and I walk out and I go, okay,

Diverse Opinions in Gaming Community

00:10:55
Speaker
here's howie go is how You're probably wondering how I ended up.
00:11:02
Speaker
but once get You're not going to believe it. i I looking at these videos looking at the packs day one and day two really just get me excited because it's like feedback you know I don't know what it's gonna look like while we're doing it but as we do it I think we get a better idea of how to stack these interviews to be entertaining because we are making entertainment. and And I want to balance that because I think G4 definitely leaned too far into the spectacle. Yeah. I just want to kiss the spectacle on the cheek. I want to kiss it on the cheek arm handshake, a kiss on the cheek. Yeah. Yeah. Like one of those hell, like the celebrity kisses on the cheek. You just want it at the side. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, it's a, it's like,
00:11:53
Speaker
We have to know that video games are fucking crazy. Like you, you cannot sit here and just take them too seriously. They are video games. Yes. There are serious video games. Yes. There are live. That's all. Yes. I get it. But they're still video games. Yeah. They're still video games. They need to be fun. They are. They are. They're made. They're meant to move you or excite you or distract you. It's all the same.
00:12:20
Speaker
I think that's why I, I do like them so much, you know, it's there. Uh, it's so, you can go, I want something sad. I want something funny. I want something easy to do. Like there's such a variety. You can do whatever you choose. I I've gone on like a lot of like muting words, uh, um, and then people, uh, phase on Twitter just so I can just be on it. Um, with that, um,
00:12:48
Speaker
um And it's kind of removed me from like stupid debates. Like I guess Silent Hill 2 had a lot of DEI like complaints about it. yeah And like, so I posted the video and everyone's like, I'm not playing this DEI game. And I'm just like, sure dude, like make that, like no one's telling you otherwise, but I'm still going to play it and I'm still like, it's good. It's like, man, you, you don't realize how miserable you are. Like just thinking constantly about that kind of like, it's so much easier to just be like,
00:13:22
Speaker
Oh, I'm not into what it's doing. And then move on. Like, it's... Things things don't always have to be for me. I can't. I think I stopped expecting that long ago. And yeah really, I can't stress enough how militant I was on anti-censorship in my early 20s. How, like, every fucking thing Nintendo does, I was like, keyboard, keyboard it up. F you, Nintendo. Oh.
00:13:49
Speaker
Oh, fatal frame. Oh, fuck dude. Like I, we, I would ask questions on interviews. I would be like, is anything censored? No, no filter dude. I, it was punk rock Lopez. Um, we, and now you slowly realize there's other things to play. There's better creators to support. If you, if somebody's doing something you don't like, there's 10 other Valid amazing creators that are doing something likely that falls into your wheelhouse and everyone does shit like that in the early 20s I think you're on because you i i was I was like cuphead difficulty why you're not good at it like yeah response like Ben Kucher or something and then there was like a Twitter fuck and nowadays I'd like I feel like who cares like who yeah shit fuck it is what it is fun in the moment yeah and then you look back and you're just like why did I care like mm-hmm
00:14:44
Speaker
doesn't It doesn't mean anything at the end. of like It's just nothing. I was just being controversial. I think it was because i we're bored. you know we don't have we don't We don't have to be bored. but we don't Yeah, we don't have responsibilities. where We're literally just like in our fields, we have no friends clearly. so i like I just remember sitting there like, oh shit i have a way that i can post and everybody has to listen to me like you'll notice me now yeah so i did i used to do those types of articles i remember writing one on like uh tokyo mirage sessions you know like all this ah that rocks i can think of that so perfectly yeah that was a that's an operation ring fall it's just uh
00:15:30
Speaker
so I don't know. I don't know. So, so when people are mad, like I get it, I used to feel that anger too. Um, but as you get older, I can assure you it fades and you just, you just fall into what you like. And yes, you just follow that. So give yourself some time, give the anger some time to simmer and you'll be fine. And you'll be more at peace because yeah again, not everything

Building Inclusive Community at Noisy Pixel

00:15:53
Speaker
has to, it's so easy to just be like, Oh, it's not for me. Yeah.
00:16:00
Speaker
go on to something that is for you. I kind of like, uh, there was a time where I liked watching the chaos unfolds, but I think it consumes me a little too much and I i do need to pull back. So I have been like not engaging in those yeah conversations for a while because I know what they do. It's like a rabbit hole. And, and honestly, you can really tell with your first response to these people, if they're even willing to talk with you. Safe debate. Yeah. Because typically I find that in these conversations, it's only a matter of time before one side starts playing the victim. yeah And it's like, it's like, Oh, I can't answer this question. But it's always like, it's, it's one or the other, you know, there's everyone. yeah You can't be an instigator and a victim. And then it just brings it down to like, again, it's a video games who Yeah. Some guy commented on my Silent Hill 2 review video. He's like, uh, this is, this is censored. Uh, they made the girl uglier and I just commented back. Well, she gave me a boner and then he screenshotted that and I put my name next to it. So it says noisy pixel, but they know Azario said this. Um,
00:17:09
Speaker
They, they, they screenshotted it and posted it to Twitter and like tagged all like these like call out, uh, Twitters and no one cared one because I think noisy. picks so Yeah. Like who cares? and But they're like, look at how weird this person is being to me in these comments. But I was matching this person's. So so you're you're because he's directly talking about the person's looks and calling her ugly. And I'm directly validating her looks and saying that she gave me a boner. Certainly, maybe the most crass way. But yes, yes. true And is that what he was looking for from her? Was he? It was good it was definitely if you're going to if you I I I. Noisy Pixel doesn't have to be professional like IGN does in the class.
00:17:59
Speaker
That's the appeal. Yeah, that's, that's the appeal is like, I don't need to take that shit. And sometimes it's like, they're like, well, you just lost yourself a subscriber. That's fine. 59,999 more of you fellows. That's, you know, uh, we're trying to build a real community here around people with diverse backgrounds around.
00:18:19
Speaker
people with different opinions. I like that about Noisy Pixel. I love that about Noisy Pixel. I love being challenged. I love um the readers being challenged. I love gamers being challenged. um I love seeing things from all sides. And I think fostering that type of community is a lot better than fostering a community that only sees one way and that's your way. I don't want anyone to see my way.
00:18:41
Speaker
I don't care. You know, I have my opinions. You have yours. They have theirs. But if we come together and talk like I think that's so much more important than different perspectives. If you don't agree with me, that's it. You're out. You're obviously.
00:18:55
Speaker
huge things like dances. Yeah. Obviously, it's like as if you're racist, like, yeah, there's no room. Yeah. Games. Yeah. There's no really matter if someone has the same opinion on video games. Yeah. I do kind of draw the line at hate when there be like, yeah, say you're a little fucking like jokes or whatever. But when you're just being hateful just to be hateful, yeah I really don't like what a good irony. But Once you're actually like, if you actually are saying those things and believing them, yeah oh, I've only ever deleted one or two comments. And, um, we we had a trans writer on staff a couple of years ago and they were saying some pretty mean things and I didn't appreciate that. move So, uh, yeah,

Azar's 5K Race Experience

00:19:42
Speaker
I, we,
00:19:44
Speaker
yeah Yeah, it sucks. But those are the only things that that's the only that I draw the line at hate. But I think that in the in their own way, I can I can try to guess how what people are trying to say, even when they're being mean, yeah um or I try to at least because I am and I and I when I'm when I'm talking critically to someone I started off with I'm going to assume you're an adult. Like I started off with that because I don't know how fucking old these kids are.
00:20:09
Speaker
13 year old. Yeah. I could be some 13 year old just having fun. Is it woke? Yeah. Um, moving on. I ran a 5k. It's my first official race. I got 75th place out of 945 or something. That's pretty good.
00:20:29
Speaker
Yeah, it was my first official race. I do run every day and like, um, my girlfriend wanted to, um, celebrate our two year anniversary. So we did a run together and she doesn't run. So she like trained to run and she's like, I'll, I'll train to run. And then neck like Yoda.
00:20:44
Speaker
scene room No, I left her right in the beginning. She had no chance. She had no. She had no chance. It was a lot of fun. It was a it was tough. I threw up at the end, but ah because I went fast, I was going fast. I was going pretty fast. um I think by miles for seven, twenty six or something like that average, i don which is pretty fast. as for Yeah. I usually I do like eight thirty eight forty five is my miles. um But Oh, a lot of fun. And with that, let's get into some games talk. You reviewed a big game this week. That's true. I was parking zero. and Tell us, tell us about your experience.

Dragon Ball Game Enjoyment

00:21:27
Speaker
Tell us about your review. Um, I'm a big, I'm a, I'm maybe one of the biggest dragon ball boys. I love, there's not a time in my life. I remember.
00:21:38
Speaker
Uh, not liking, like not knowing about her liking Dragon Ball. Cause I was introduced to it very early by my brother in late nineties. Um, and, uh, so I played every game as they, like, I would beg my parents, I was like, please, please let me spend $20 on a Dragon Ball game use please. Like every year. Um, and so I, I've,
00:22:03
Speaker
seen the series countless times. I've read the manga countless times, so I was like so excited for Spark of Zero because I played Budokai Tenkaichi 1, 2, and 3 so much in sane amount. um And i confirm I confirmed after the part, I was like, is this do I have the Atari version? of oh yeah I do. Sick. I do. That's the first release, right? They re-released it. Black Label first release. Hell yeah. Perfect.
00:22:29
Speaker
So I was like, I was like, okay, I can't wait for Spark N' Zero. So when I came in, I was so excited. And I blew through the episode mode and the and the custom battles and all that, blah, blah, blah. And I was just playing it nonstop. And it's it's interesting. I don't know if it's because maybe I had a day one patch, but I've seen tons of people in online talking about, like, Great Ape Vegeta is insane. This other, this fight with Beerus is insane. And I don't wanna come off like bragging, because it's a Dragon Ball game. But I didn't have any issue with them, so I'm wondering,
00:22:59
Speaker
If it was like easier before like they pass something and it and it made that out of whack or something. I think that a lot of people didn't you didn't play the tutorial and don't know don't know the depth of the the counter system because I think that's super important. it is Not only not only your charge but your the the counter.
00:23:17
Speaker
uh porting teleporting but no but knowing you have enough uh energy for for that kind of stuff is like it's like constant balance is like yes you can you can deflect and you can uh but to get in those parries and get in those uh um blocks like are those uh dodges like Yeah. It's, it's strategy. You're like, you're playing, you're playing. You have to kind of train to get used to it. Like, yeah, you play at a bunch and you're like getting better and stronger. And then you're like, Oh, now I can do this. Now I can do that. Some of those, some of those beam, like, Oh, the connections are so satisfying to fucking pull off. Like, yeah. Like sometimes I try to guess when I'm fighting against like character like Vegeta, I try to guess when they're going to use their special so that I can just trigger it because it's just so cool. It's just so cool.
00:24:05
Speaker
I was saying that I hope Spike Chunsoft kind of takes these development skills to whatever they do next because fuck the animation is so good. It's gorgeous. It looks exactly like his like Akira Toriyama style.
00:24:19
Speaker
It's like, there's so many frames that are just straight up references to manga panels or famous scenes. Like, you can notice how Vegeta goes like this, he's like, I'm super Vegeta, and it's like, ah it's it's like picture perfect from the frame, or like, sell with his arm on his knees, and you're just like, they like they must have poured over like the source material to make it,
00:24:45
Speaker
this perfect. And and the I do the Japanese voices because I prefer them a little bit, even though the English ones are also great. I think the English ones are really good in this game. Yeah, both. I checked them both out. They're both excellent. um There's so many tiny things. There's so like one thing as a kid that I loved was all the banter between before fights where you could pair up characters who would never meet, but they have a similarity. And that's back. So like having King cold up against Frost, you'll be like, you're part of my clan or like having like a raditz against Bardock. And if you beat him with Bardock, he's like, oh it'll be a cold day in hell when I'm defeated by my own son. And it's like, oh, these are fun little character things. Or it's like, oh, you get to see these characters interact with each other. There's one making their ends right now where like,
00:25:32
Speaker
you pick an entire team of Gokus and then Goten, and most of them are like small, and they'll be like, whoa, you're small too? He's like, well, you returned into a kid? And then Goten's like, I don't think I'm supposed to be here. It's exactly like Goku, but he's not Goku. There's so many things like that where it's just like, wow, they really cared, and they put in so much effort and attention to detail and passion. And it's like, in addition to being insanely fun, like... You you know what I will say, like...
00:26:00
Speaker
i yeah I'm curious, has the budget been released ah for this game? I don't think so. and I'd be curious to know that like, we we i I'm trying to guess if they just knew this was going to be a good game and yeah actually put a sizable amount of development work into it. It just, it's done. Well, it exploded. Like that's what I'm saying. Like there's, ah there's all these little touches that you don't expect from a band dynamical game that are in here. That's the crazy thing is these kinds of touches were in Budokai Tenkaichi. So I wonder if it's over carrying over because it's the series or if it's, Oh, this is a big property. There's so many things that could be, um, but it clearly works because it has
00:26:51
Speaker
exploded. This is like the first game in a very long time. where I've gotten messages on PlayStation, like, where they're like, how did you how are you playing early? Like the second trophies weren't live. They were like, how'd you get it early? That's a massive W. We're like, how do you get this trophy? I want to try and do that when I start. And I was like, whoa, i just that's been a long time since people were like, how are you playing early? How are you playing about the bell like game? So it's it's cool. I'm so happy that it's it's doing so well. It's exploded. Because it's right. I think Bailey on the website is one trophy away from the platinum right now. That's impressive.
00:27:23
Speaker
Yeah. He says he can't stop playing it. And, and that says a lot about him because he does love action a lot. So it's, and that's what I try to like, I didn't review it, but from what I've played, which is about like five hours of it. Um, we just constant fun, just constant like, like,

I never got bored. Like I was waiting for the time where I'm like, fuck another match. Okay. I guess, because it never turns into that. Um, where you're just doing the same, uh, the same combo and getting through the fights really quick. And then, you know, progressing so many characters too throughout like oh it's it has each variation, like super saying Goku, super same three, Goku, they all their own moves, they all their own combos.
00:28:07
Speaker
So it's like, you're never like, okay, I'll just do Meteor Smash, Meteor Smash. It's like, oh, now I'm Piccolo, now I'm Piccolo with Nail. Oh, now I'm Piccolo with Kami. And they all have their own moves and they're all their own strategies. that's It's a very, it's an achievement. It's a very impressive achievement. I do think they dropped the ball on, a on um kind of,
00:28:30
Speaker
We not ah ah was I was going to say they they dropped the ball on the oh, the the scenes between um chapters, how they're still images. Like some of them are still images. Yeah. Yeah. It's like it's fine and it work and it works well, but it doesn't look good next to how well everything else is. It's like moving voice our animated voice actor do look. Yeah. Yeah. All like that.
00:28:58
Speaker
Yeah, it works, but it puts a spotlight on it when everything else is just so pretty. But overall, incredible follow-up to the PS2 games. I played with the classic control scheme, and my brain locked right back into how to do it. So if you've played those, you will immediately remember how to play. Oh, that's exciting. What did you give it? What was the score? I gave it a 5 out of 5.
00:29:27
Speaker
Five out of five what was completely in the score. Yeah. It's excellent. And I Namco released another game to sort out online fractured

daydream. I was able to review this for an easy pixel.
00:29:44

um
00:29:48
Speaker
it It's fun. It just, it's just, you know, that lot just doesn't it it has gotcha stuff. It doesn't definitely has that. It has, it's all online. Um, the story is rushed. It's fine though. Again, everything is fun. There's just nothing to do post game after about 22 hours. Nothing like you're once, once you hit like rank level player player, rank 40, which you get pretty quickly. Uh,
00:30:18
Speaker
that there's just nothing there for you. And I think there's a weird design. It's kind of like fantasy star online too, where their hopes is that they're going to host like weekly events to get players on specific times throughout the week to allow them to play new modes or allow them to play, um,
00:30:37
Speaker
uh, secret bosses and stuff. But it's really going to come down to the community on this one. I gave it a seven out of 10 because I do think the game has developed well. I think whatever they're trying to do, it works. The price is a little high. It feels $30. It might be a ah little more enticing. Um, I think it's 60. It's a good sale game. Yeah. And I think that probably what they're banking on is a nice, uh, November, um, Black Friday bump.
00:31:06
Speaker
and then they'll probably get it. It's it's doing well traffic-wise for us, so I can only imagine that's to say about the ah the sales usually when gaming. I need to be assured the tons of content coming in the Fuqua's bond. I mean, they got $10 for me. I bought the bathing suit DLC. There you go. The Azaria's staple, as it's called.
00:31:28
Speaker
the costumes they gave are just too fucking hard to get the drops of the drop rate are so low is so low but you're like you're playing the missions over and over again that you could get them but I think one costume to drop it took me like three hours well sounds like Monster Hunter world I was trying to get the Geralt you know from witcher and you have the same mission over and over and hope it drops like me to oh my god that's the worst shit yeah yeah who had he time for that now unless i think that I think the raid bosses and stuff like that are all fun. I like seeing other people and their costumes and stuff. um very Very little amount of chat interaction online.
00:32:07
Speaker
um But I think it's a fun game. I think the support class needs some balancing because there's like you can't customize the skills. Every character just has their own unique skill abilities and unless until you get like the legendary. It's it's where you can get this legendary weapon that unlocks another skill. But besides the point, you you have your set skills. But as a support class, you want to like buff your your party members. And I think like doing that, everyone just plays an attacker at all times. It's kind of annoying. Like no one plays their roles, even though they have

roles. And I think in a game like this, you need to define those roles. You need to allow the player to fall into whatever they chose. And if I played a support role and tried to be an attacker, I'll fucking die. Like, yeah like teach them that way or something. I don't know. um Interesting game. I had a lot of fun. Nice. Glad to hear it.
00:33:05

And other than that, I'm just, uh, going through, going through the, the waves. We got through this episode faster than I thought. We did. We got all the good info out there for all of you folks. What did you all think? Um, we, you didn't watch cabin in the woods. Oh, you're right. We both completely forgot. I will. I know. You know what? I watched below juice too. You didn't watch cabin in the woods.
00:33:34
Speaker
I can, I'll do it, I'll do it. We're gonna watch it right now. This is a two and a half hour trip. It's gonna be like Miss Rescience Theater. There's gonna be little silhouettes of Azarionine in front of the screen.
00:33:45
Speaker
Uh, now that we're at the end of the episode, let me tell you a story. Uh, well that was running. Um, so there's like one last corner when you're running into the finish line and you're just running against yourself really, because the time doesn't start on your bib until you pass. And, uh, pass the start and pass the finish, you know, like the people that you're passing, you're not technically running. We, they, they could have started before you were after you. yeah Um,
00:34:14
Speaker
So as I'm running turn the corner, I'm like, okay, fuck it. It's my, it's my first race ever. I'm just going to look at everything in the tank. Just go. Yeah. Yeah. That's, this is, that's what, that's essentially why I threw up. But at, but the last person, the person running up to the finish line was this probably like their 12 year old boy, dude, 13 year old boy. And, uh,
00:34:36
Speaker
We fucking it, running, running. And everyone's, there's people yelling for him and he's right at the finish line and I just pass him. So they take a picture and they sent me the pictures and I'm going like this. And he's looking at me like, I'll say, I'll show you, I'll share with you the picture. he so rock But I felt so bad. I was like,
00:35:01
Speaker
Well, you know what? It could have been anyone. It could have been an old lady. It could have been a woman. You know, it could have been, uh, like animated and been like, you need to get stronger. And they were, you know, beat me next time. Yeah, it was, he was running fast. He did, he probably did a great job, but, uh, he was 76 and I was 75. So, so not better. Great job. Better luck next time, little boy. Better luck next time. He never runs away. He's completely destroyed. He's like, Oh, I fucking, I fucking ruined that kid.
00:35:31
Speaker
Ruined him. I saw Anyway. anyway i mean to test my resultsgainst to you little boy That's the episode. Thanks everyone for listening. Let us know what you're playing in the comments and as always, so we really appreciate ah your time and attention. Bye.
