Speaker: Hello.

Speaker: Hello.

Speaker: Welcome to Say You Think You're Iconic, the movie podcast.

Speaker: And we just recorded another episode and that was a wild ride.

Speaker: It was.

Speaker: At least that last 10 minutes for me.

Speaker: Yes, it was.

Speaker: An experience for sure.

Speaker: An experience.

Speaker: All I need to tell you is I was fighting for my life.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I was fighting for my life and I won.

Speaker: You did.

Speaker: I won.

Speaker: You did.

Speaker: I kept it together.

Speaker: How professional with me.

Speaker: No, seriously, like put that on a resume.

Speaker: Put that on a resume.

Speaker: Clenches very, very well.

Speaker: How was your week, Kelly?

Speaker: It's all right.

Speaker: I'm going to make you very proud.

Speaker: Okay, we'll see.

Speaker: Wow, you didn't even give me a chance.

Speaker: That's why I said, we'll see.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: So I am visiting and I need to pack for my trip.

Speaker: And today I will pull down my bag that I'm going to take and I'm going to throw, throw.

Speaker: That's the key word throw, not even fold and pack the real clothes at it that I want to wear on the trip.

Speaker: Progress.

Speaker: A little early for me, but progress nonetheless.

Speaker: I mean, I'm leaving on Friday, so.

Speaker: What is that?

Speaker: Stay Sunday, though.

Speaker: But according to your schedule, I can't pack Friday night, Thursday night.

Speaker: So.

Speaker: No.

Speaker: That's like four days away.

Speaker: You can pack on Tuesday.

Speaker: Tuesday.

Speaker: Tuesday, Wednesday.

Speaker: Tuesday is not too close for you?

Speaker: No.

Speaker: I leave Friday morning.

Speaker: No, that's fine.

Speaker: I mean, just do what you're going to do now.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Cause I was like, oh, so I can wait until Tuesday.

Speaker: That's what I'm hearing.

Speaker: No, let's just start now.

Speaker: Don't, don't hurt my, my progress that I'm trying to do.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Let's not miss anything.

Speaker: Let's just start now.

Speaker: Yes, I will.

Speaker: I will take the bag down.

Speaker: I'm going to throw some stuff at it.

Speaker: That is my goal for today.

Speaker: Good for you.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Good for you.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: We're, we're,

Speaker: We're learning.

Speaker: We're learning.

Speaker: We're learning.

Speaker: We're learning.

Speaker: And that's important.

Speaker: It's growth.

Speaker: And then Kelly is going to be driving because she's taking us to brunch and I want to get drunk.

Speaker: You want that three shot?

Speaker: I want that three shot.

Speaker: I also want that though.

Speaker: You know what?

Speaker: We just got to walk.

Speaker: We have to walk.

Speaker: We have to walk.

Speaker: Yeah, we'll park near wherever this place is and then we'll just walk the rest of the day.

Speaker: Yeah, no, absolutely.

Speaker: We're going to walk to the pier, which is 15 minutes away.

Speaker: We're going to, at that point, let's walk to, um, uh, Shue, what is it called?

Speaker: It might be, it might be far, but we might need the walk.

Speaker: Let's walk, let's walk to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Speaker: walk, take an Uber, you know, whatever it feels like in the moment.

Speaker: Yeah, because that is a long walk.

Speaker: But Jordan, that is a long walk, Kelly.

Speaker: That's three shots.

Speaker: What?

Speaker: That's three shots.

Speaker: Three shots is nothing.

Speaker: I don't I don't start what 12.

Speaker: I don't care.

Speaker: Three shots is nothing.

Speaker: I don't start I get tipsy at around three.

Speaker: I get no, not even tipsy like buzzed at around two.

Speaker: around five I'll get tipsy.

Speaker: So we'll be in that middle ground.

Speaker: Eight is where I get drunk.

Speaker: Oh, geez.

Speaker: Eight shots is where I get drunk.

Speaker: Eight?

Speaker: Eight.

Speaker: That seems very high.

Speaker: That is kind of high, but... Is that normal?

Speaker: I'd be drinking with some alcoholics, Kelly.

Speaker: You do be drinking with some alcoholics.

Speaker: I'd be drinking with some alcoholics.

Speaker: And they usually don't let me drink less than five drinks.

Speaker: So my body's been trained.

Speaker: But then you what happened last weekend?

Speaker: Or whatever weekend?

Speaker: Oh, it's fine.

Speaker: I never got too drunk.

Speaker: I was good.

Speaker: No, no, no, no.

Speaker: When you went when you had the two drinks.

Speaker: And you're like, I'm tired.

Speaker: Oh, yeah.

Speaker: The duality of man, the duality of me.

Speaker: But yeah, we should have fun.

Speaker: I also have not been there in such a long time.

Speaker: I know, which is kind of crazy.

Speaker: I know.

Speaker: Like, there's nothing that you wanted to do in San Francisco?

Speaker: No.

Speaker: It's just such a hassle to get out there.

Speaker: Either way, so like, unless I have a reason to go out there, I don't go out there.

Speaker: Fair.

Speaker: Well, because I go for Giants games, so I'm like, oh, that's.

Speaker: Oh, I don't, you know, I don't do that either.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But yeah, we'll have fun.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And I think it's going to be a semi good day from what I'm seeing on the weather.

Speaker: I hope it is.

Speaker: Which brings me to the weather that we had yesterday.

Speaker: That was crazy.

Speaker: Oh, yeah.

Speaker: For you guys.

Speaker: Yeah, that was crazy.

Speaker: Woke up.

Speaker: It had rained.

Speaker: Yeah, which is crazy.

Speaker: I was like, when did we have rain on the schedule?

Speaker: Like, that wasn't supposed to happen.

Speaker: And then I spent the morning, like, cleaning the kitchen and stuff.

Speaker: And it was cold the entire time.

Speaker: And then I left my house to go drop something off at UPS and then go get my car wash.

Speaker: And then around, I'd say, like, 1230, one-ish, the sun came out.

Speaker: And it was a perfect day.

Speaker: the sun just needed time to get up she was like girl i'm on i'm on a long weekend too right right i've been providing all week yeah give me a break a little bit of break give me a break so okay so how was tomorrow gonna look then tomorrow it's supposed to be like 67. okay so like

Speaker: Today it's supposed to hit 70.

Speaker: Let's see if that happens.

Speaker: 67 is good.

Speaker: 67 is a good day.

Speaker: Yeah, it looks pretty nice outside.

Speaker: I told Kelly earlier, I might go to the beach today.

Speaker: Which would be super nice.

Speaker: We'll just see how I'm feeling.

Speaker: It's also Interview with the Vampire Day.

Speaker: Oh yeah, I did see that.

Speaker: I did see that.

Speaker: Gotta be ready for that.

Speaker: It's going to be 95 here.

Speaker: today.

Speaker: Yikes.

Speaker: But like that's perfect for a video day weekend.

Speaker: It's true.

Speaker: It's 99 tomorrow.

Speaker: Like go like go have a nice pool day.

Speaker: I did have a nice I did kind of have a nice pool day yesterday but I had like washed my hair yesterday so I didn't get my hair wet so I might just fully swim today or tomorrow.

Speaker: Sounds like a plan.

Speaker: It's not hot enough for that.

Speaker: It's not.

Speaker: Not for you.

Speaker: I mean, you could sit by the pool.

Speaker: I could go sit by my aunt's pool.

Speaker: Yeah, but not get in it.

Speaker: But I wouldn't dare put my body into it.

Speaker: I would freeze to that.

Speaker: Have you ever wanted to cold plunge?

Speaker: I have cold plunged.

Speaker: In the pool?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: When?

Speaker: Like when I was younger.

Speaker: Oh, because I did it in December.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: And it was worse.

Speaker: And so we didn't know a lot about cold plunge, I guess, apparently, from what my brother has told me, you're not supposed to cold plunge for that long.

Speaker: Like, if you cold plunge for too long, like your body kind of starts to like shut down.

Speaker: Oh, so like die.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So you're dying.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah, kind of.

Speaker: So it was what was it? 50?

Speaker: something degrees, 50.

Speaker: Oh, you're crazy as hell.

Speaker: Absolutely.

Speaker: And I got in the pool and it was at that point and it had reached the point where the sun was already going down.

Speaker: So because the way our backyard is set up, like once it hits like four or five o'clock, it goes behind the house, like behind us.

Speaker: And so it doesn't hit the water.

Speaker: So I had gotten in the pool at like five something.

Speaker: So I was fully in shade in December, 50 degree weather.

Speaker: i'm getting in the pool and like i don't remember what they dared me to do but they're like do 10 minutes i'm like no i'll do 15. you're crazy so i did 15 minutes and again because of like the pool like equipment we have my dad can tell how cold the water is and so he's like do you want to know how cold it is i'm like absolutely not i do not want to know so my brother's girlfriend was someone that was going to go first and she's like me she's always cold so she gets in she lasts a minute and i get in there and i

Speaker: And I tell you, I was like, I wasn't yelling at my mother, but I was speaking very loudly because I could, I like couldn't feel my feet were burning.

Speaker: My body was burning.

Speaker: Um, but like I had her play music so that like, I could like focus on something else other than like the cold water that was touching me.

Speaker: It was, it was an experience for sure.

Speaker: I will never probably do it again for that long.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, you're crazy for that.

Speaker: I am.

Speaker: I am.

Speaker: This is coming from the person that will not go to Alaska.

Speaker: Unlike the Alaska cruise or whatever, because I'm like, that's too cool.

Speaker: I actually would love to go on an Alaskan cruise.

Speaker: Would you?

Speaker: I mean, I would go if I had like the right clothing, you know, and if I had all of the whatever it's called, like the wristbands and the patches so I don't get sick.

Speaker: Oh, oh yeah, I need my Dramamine.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: If I'm going on a cruise.

Speaker: Because I did not do that the last time I was on a cruise and it was awful.

Speaker: Oh, you know you could just go to the front desk and get some, right?

Speaker: I didn't know that.

Speaker: That was my first cruise ever.

Speaker: Oh, yikes.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I guess you don't prepare like me.

Speaker: Well, and I didn't expect myself to get that sick either.

Speaker: Oh, literally, I got sick the first... I had already brought Dramamine, but I got sick that first, like, night.

Speaker: Like, we didn't even go to dinner.

Speaker: I got so sick.

Speaker: Oh, shoot.

Speaker: And so after that, I was popping Dramamines like they were Percocets.

Speaker: Like, just throwing them back, like, every, like, couple of hours.

Speaker: I was like, this will not... And it never happened.

Speaker: I didn't get sick again.

Speaker: I was like, this will not be happening again.

Speaker: Wow, yeah, because my mom, she's...

Speaker: She had a lot of the Dramamine, but she had bought like enough for her.

Speaker: And I know she gets pretty sick.

Speaker: So when we got on the boat, she had already popped one.

Speaker: And then we went to dinner and then she had to like leave.

Speaker: We're like, she's like, I need to go back to the room.

Speaker: And we're like, okay.

Speaker: And then for most of that trip, she was in the room.

Speaker: It was so awful.

Speaker: I think the only time that I really got sick was that first night.

Speaker: For some reason, sitting in like the dining area made me so sick.

Speaker: And then the last night we hit like a storm.

Speaker: And so like obviously it was a lot more turbulent than is normal.

Speaker: And so that's what I have never been on a cruise ship during a storm.

Speaker: Oh, dude, like I couldn't sleep that night.

Speaker: It was that bad.

Speaker: And like I made the mistake of like looking at the little tiny window that we had and I could just I just saw like.

Speaker: I'm like, I'm turning, I'm turning away from the window and I'm going to close my eyes.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So hopefully you never run into one.

Speaker: But yeah, I mean, if I'm prepared, I will go on an Alaskan cruise.

Speaker: When do they do those?

Speaker: I'm actually not sure.

Speaker: I'm gonna look actually.

Speaker: Because like, if you want to go, I'm down to go.

Speaker: I want to go to Alaska.

Speaker: Alaska cruise 2024.

Speaker: Oh, Alaska cruise is up to 75%.

Speaker: Oh, where?

Speaker: Where?

Speaker: I mean, let me look.

Speaker: I will book one right now.

Speaker: Don't play with me.

Speaker: All regions.

Speaker: Alaska cruise only.

Speaker: Let's just, let's just, uh, let's say for June, 2025.

Speaker: June 2025.

Speaker: I'm down.

Speaker: Book it now.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: All cruise lines, all cruise ships, number of nights.

Speaker: We'll after pay it.

Speaker: That way we'll pay it off throughout the year.

Speaker: Oh, Viking.

Speaker: never heard of that cruise line really no they're like the fancy ish kind of one oh so old people we're gonna be honest we're gonna be in a ship full of old people but isn't that better i mean i like to party a little i know but then that means it'll be empty by a certain time of night and we'll be fine oh true we can we can do our partying early right and then be in bed by 10. exactly exactly

Speaker: Wait, that actually might be the move.

Speaker: Because it's right.

Speaker: Because like, I'd be going on carnival and like, their, their club doesn't even open till like 11.

Speaker: I'm like, I'm don't want to.

Speaker: No, seriously, because like, I'm just saying, because like, you know what, you see those TikToks with like people that are like, Oh, yeah, I spent my summer at a like, with my grandma, like her 50 plus, you know,

Speaker: community in Florida.

Speaker: And and they're like, I had like the best time of my life.

Speaker: And I'm like, Yeah, that's what I want.

Speaker: I will just keep keep talking.

Speaker: I'm gonna I'm gonna look.

Speaker: Well, I just talked about my week.

Speaker: Yeah, I got a new phone.

Speaker: Man was that a struggle to get this new phone, but I got a new phone.

Speaker: I know.

Speaker: What happened to your other one, by the way?

Speaker: The like,

Speaker: the like charger charging port or whatever wasn't working you had to like contort the charger and like certain ways for it to work and so i literally went down to the apple store and i was like can you guys like fix this they're like no and it'll cost like 400 to replace it and i was like oh i'm not doing that

Speaker: And so I came home and I told my mom and she was like, oh, well we have insurance on the phone.

Speaker: I was like, oh, cool.

Speaker: I'll just get a replacement then.

Speaker: And so we went to the T-Mobile store, ordered a replacement, got my replacement on Friday.

Speaker: So yay.

Speaker: Yay.

Speaker: And I'm also switching carriers, but I don't know what's happening.

Speaker: It's not letting me switch my phone number.

Speaker: So I might have to just get a new phone number.

Speaker: Like we'll see.

Speaker: Oh, really?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: We'll see what happens.

Speaker: I can't really do it because my mom isn't here to call T-Mobile.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker: You know what?

Speaker: T-Mobile is really finicky when you do all that stuff.

Speaker: Yeah, so I'm going to need her to call them and she's not here right now.

Speaker: Oh, Jordan.

Speaker: To be determined.

Speaker: What?

Speaker: Why is this looking a little cheap to me?

Speaker: What is it?

Speaker: How much is it?

Speaker: So this is seven nights.

Speaker: Uh-huh.

Speaker: Alaska experience you leave from Seattle.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: If you just want an interior room.

Speaker: It's 679.

Speaker: That is cheap.

Speaker: Okay, so I'm not I'm not tripping.

Speaker: No for seven days.

Speaker: That's cheap.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And then there's if you want ocean view, it's 909.

Speaker: I don't need ocean view.

Speaker: This is in September, by the way.

Speaker: Like this September?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I'm just looking like I'm just like, because that's like the what's it called?

Speaker: You go ahead and send me that info.

Speaker: That does not sound bad at all.

Speaker: Because you can... Especially if I like afterpay it.

Speaker: And I just make payments on it.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: So if we're talking 2024, it's 825.

Speaker: My bad.

Speaker: And then it's 679 for September 2025.

Speaker: Which gives us enough time to save up some money.

Speaker: It gives enough time to save up money.

Speaker: True.

Speaker: I'd be fine with either, actually.

Speaker: That's actually not bad.

Speaker: I'm so surprised.

Speaker: I'm still debating on whether I want to go on a cruise for my birthday and just go by myself.

Speaker: Jordan, how the hell am I didn't know that these were, like, super cheap?

Speaker: Cruises?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Cruises have always been cheap.

Speaker: That's the appeal of them.

Speaker: Okay, estimated room total for two guests, 1992-98.

Speaker: Not bad.

Speaker: Not bad at all.

Speaker: And then flights to Seattle aren't usually that bad.

Speaker: Yeah, no.

Speaker: They're not that bad.

Speaker: Hell, I'll take a spirit plane of Seattle like just Seattle.

Speaker: Okay, I don't know if I take a spirit plane.

Speaker: I have dipped into the bucket of Frontier and I will not go down.

Speaker: Oh, I've been on a Frontier flight.

Speaker: That was awful.

Speaker: But like, what is it?

Speaker: Burst in spirit?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: But yeah, I don't know if I want to find out.

Speaker: But like a Seattle flights like what an hour and a half like, I could deal with it for an hour.

Speaker: A little more than that thing is like two.

Speaker: I still not that bad.

Speaker: I flew on my frontier flight from here to Washington DC.

Speaker: Oh, yeah.

Speaker: Ouch.

Speaker: So I feel like I feel like at this point I can do anything.

Speaker: True.

Speaker: So yeah, I guess we're going to Alaska guys.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Alaskan listeners will see you there.

Speaker: We will see you there.

Speaker: And maybe Mexican listeners, you'll see me this July 4th.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: We're going to figure it out.

Speaker: I'm going to figure it out.

Speaker: But yeah.

Speaker: So yeah, still working with T-Mobile to get my phone.

Speaker: Stay tuned for updates.

Speaker: Might have to get a new phone number, which would really piss me off.

Speaker: Yeah, that sucks.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: Because you don't realize how many things your phone number is attached.

Speaker: Yeah, my phone number is attached to so many things.

Speaker: Mm-hmm.

Speaker: Like, literally, I had to log back into my Ring account on my phone, and I needed my phone number for that, and it wasn't working.

Speaker: And so I had to do, like, ID verification to, like, write into my Ring app.

Speaker: No, dude, when I got this phone, because this is like a smart home, whatever, there's an app for the garage door.

Speaker: I still cannot get into the garage door app.

Speaker: I've uninstalled it.

Speaker: I've reinstalled it.

Speaker: I've changed my password.

Speaker: Something about like getting a new phone, they're like,

Speaker: I don't know if that's you.

Speaker: And I'm like, believe me, it's me.

Speaker: I'm the one who set up the account.

Speaker: Like it's me.

Speaker: Believe me.

Speaker: It's just a new phone.

Speaker: Don't worry about it.

Speaker: Just insanity.

Speaker: It's so bad.

Speaker: Like, like sure privacy, but it's a garage door app.

Speaker: Guys, please, please.

Speaker: Just trying to get into my house.

Speaker: Yeah, that's it for me.

Speaker: Anything else for you, Kelly?

Speaker: Oh, one thing I have a lot of student debt, by the way, and I'm trying a new financial thing so that I can like pay them off a little quicker.

Speaker: But my biggest debt, I will admit this, my biggest debt was one hundred and ten thousand dollars.

Speaker: Oh, my fucking God, Kelly.

Speaker: And I checked it.

Speaker: And as of Wednesday, I'm down to sixty nine thousand dollars.

Speaker: Damn, I thought I was in some heavy debt.

Speaker: Yeah, that's not talking about my federal student loans.

Speaker: These are private.

Speaker: So you have more?

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Jesus.

Speaker: Oh, yeah.

Speaker: Oh, yeah, Jordan.

Speaker: Yeah, because when I was in college, guess who made too much money?

Speaker: My parents, apparently.

Speaker: I would have asked to be emancipated or something like that's insane.

Speaker: So yeah, I am kind of drowning in debt.

Speaker: But my biggest one is down to 69.

Speaker: Nice.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Just wanted to let y'all know if you're struggling with your debt and you're trying to get it down.

Speaker: I am right with you.

Speaker: I literally have like 4000 something dollars in student loan debt.

Speaker: And I'm like not even really paying attention to that because like

Speaker: I have other debts that are much more like I have a car note and I have credit card debts that are much more pressing.

Speaker: So I genuinely love that for you, though.

Speaker: I love it for me, too.

Speaker: And my cousin, the one that you always want to go out with, which I think I'm going out with if you want to come.

Speaker: Absolutely.

Speaker: She's got no student debt, which I'm so jealous of her.

Speaker: But like love that for her.

Speaker: Love that for her.

Speaker: So proud of her.

Speaker: love it for her can she lend me like 20 bucks right no can she just pay for a drink or something right pay for the drinks you're paying for the drink i don't have any student loans you don't know the struggle but yeah that's that's me cool good to know pray for us y'all yeah oh honestly pray for us okay kelly is it time to talk about our movie this week

Speaker: It's time to talk about the movie this week.

Speaker: Great.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: So.

Speaker: I am pulling a Kelly this week and we are skipping the first movie.

Speaker: Hey.

Speaker: Sometimes the second movie is better.

Speaker: Mostly because the first movie is so fucking depressing that I didn't want to do that.

Speaker: So.

Speaker: This week we will be talking about Regrets in Paris.

Speaker: Who's in Paris?

Speaker: Regrets.

Speaker: Regrets.

Speaker: Kelly, shut up.

Speaker: I had to.

Speaker: Shut up, Kelly.

Speaker: So we start off with Angelica pretending to be the godfather who she calls the Bobfather.

Speaker: Have you seen the godfather?

Speaker: I think I've seen the first one.

Speaker: So did you get all the references?

Speaker: Yes, I got the references.

Speaker: Because that's freaking hilarious.

Speaker: The horse head.

Speaker: And so...

Speaker: She's like playing the Bob father with the children while the adults are at a wedding reception for grandpa Lou and his new wife, Lulu.

Speaker: If you didn't watch the show, Lulu is like a girl, a woman, sorry, that he meets at like bingo or something.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: You can find love at bingo.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Everyone go to bingo.

Speaker: That's where you're going to find love of your life.

Speaker: At the reception, Angelica steals another baby's pacifier to give to Dil for his wish because he wanted a new pacifier.

Speaker: Honestly, kind of iconic.

Speaker: Iconic.

Speaker: It's very in line with the Bobfather.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Before all the kids dance with their moms and Chucky and his dad, Chaz, leave because Chucky doesn't have a mom and it makes him sad.

Speaker: That's actually so sad.

Speaker: It's very sad.

Speaker: Like when he's watching all the other kids dance with their mom and I'm like, oh.

Speaker: Oh.

Speaker: Chucky also asked Angelica for a mom as his wish but she's like I'm not playing anymore.

Speaker: She's like the game's over.

Speaker: Right I gotta go to this with my mom.

Speaker: My mom.

Speaker: Who's here.

Speaker: At Chucky's house they look through some old things and Chucky gets an old bear of his that his mom made for him and Chaz decides that it's time to start dating.

Speaker: when the baby see tommy tommy's dad phil helping chas set up a dating profile angelica explains that they're looking for a new mommy for chucky we then cut to paris and we see coco labouche being a tyrant over the workers that are trying to set up a show for euro reptar land when the reptar robot breaks down

Speaker: And so she demands that Stu Pickles comes personally to fix it.

Speaker: And so she makes one of her assistants, Kira, call him, even though it's the middle of the night in America.

Speaker: She's awful.

Speaker: Awful.

Speaker: We hate bosses like this.

Speaker: We hate bosses that don't understand boundaries.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Um, since Stu is so tired, he barely hears what's being said.

Speaker: And for some reason he decides to bring his whole family and his friends, except for Susie for some reason, cause racism.

Speaker: I mean, they literally brought everyone, Susie and her parents.

Speaker: And I get that her parents are doctors or like one of her parents is a doctor.

Speaker: I don't really remember, but like y'all could have brought Susie.

Speaker: Susie even spoke French.

Speaker: That is true.

Speaker: I totally forgot about that.

Speaker: Like y'all could have off Susie.

Speaker: Oh my God.

Speaker: Racism.

Speaker: But also, yeah, if, I mean, I understand Stu bringing his, his family.

Speaker: Cause like, I would also want to go to Paris.

Speaker: Like if his, if his company was bankrupt, I would also go to Paris, but bringing the whole squad.

Speaker: That's wild.

Speaker: That's crazy.

Speaker: That's so wild.

Speaker: They also somehow get passports for the babies the next day.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like insane.

Speaker: Also, have you seen those videos of like people trying to get passports for their baby and they have to like take a picture?

Speaker: Cute.

Speaker: It's like you need like a certain angle.

Speaker: You need to see the whole face and like babies are just either sleeping or they're like

Speaker: You know what they should do?

Speaker: They should make, you know, those cones they put babies in for like MRIs and things.

Speaker: Oh my gosh, just stuff them in one for the picture.

Speaker: They should do that.

Speaker: But like, they should find a way to like cut it, cut it for, yeah, a hole for the face.

Speaker: You know what you do?

Speaker: You just make it a little wider.

Speaker: Mm-hmm.

Speaker: So it's not like weird with the arms.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And then like, and not, and then just close it and have like a little hole for the face.

Speaker: Just a little, a little area for the head.

Speaker: Or just have it like just shoulder.

Speaker: Cause you, you don't want the arm movement.

Speaker: So just make it shoulder.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: It'll make it much easier.

Speaker: Hot dog the baby.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Um, where was on the plane?

Speaker: They set, they like sit the babies by themselves for some reason.

Speaker: You don't do that.

Speaker: Like what?

Speaker: They have this entire row and they just put all the babies in the row.

Speaker: That's not how this works.

Speaker: It's not.

Speaker: It's really not.

Speaker: There's later in the movie where the babies are literally sleeping in a bed of their own.

Speaker: Yeah, a bed.

Speaker: A bed.

Speaker: Babies.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: And so they see a man press the call button as a woman sits down

Speaker: like next to her and it's like her her husband and he passes her their baby um and so the babies think that if you press that button you get a mommy and so they press it and then a like flight attendant comes over and so they decide they don't want to press it anymore you know yeah she's like y'all gonna learn today yeah um and instead they go to angelica who's sitting in first class for some reason

Speaker: And they ask her when the Bob father will provide a new mom for Chucky.

Speaker: And so she sends them to get her sweets because she can't get them a new mom on an empty stomach.

Speaker: She's milking that role, by the way.

Speaker: She is.

Speaker: Chucky ends up unlocking the bar car and makes a huge mess.

Speaker: And so they all get kicked out of first class.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: They then all go back to their moms and Chucky just looks out the window as, I want a mom, please.

Speaker: It's so sad.

Speaker: I want a mom that lasts forever.

Speaker: Are we going to have a bop counter?

Speaker: I mean, we can.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Are we adding, are we adding I want a mom?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Cause I want a mom makes me sad.

Speaker: It makes me very sad.

Speaker: There's other songs later in the movie that we can.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: There's other, there are a plethora of other songs that we can add.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Let's put this on the sad counter.

Speaker: Let's start a sad counter.

Speaker: This is a sad, a sad counter song.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Oh, it's a, they arrive in Paris and they're taken to Euro Reptile land where they have a gigantic suite and the babies immediately make a mess.

Speaker: Most of the parents then take naps while Chaz and Stu take the kids to go meet Coco.

Speaker: Also, Spike chases after a Parisian, like, Pomeranian, not Pomeranian.

Speaker: Poodle.

Speaker: Poodle.

Speaker: While Who Let's the Dogs Out plays Bob number one.

Speaker: That's crazy that they brought their dog too.

Speaker: Right?

Speaker: Like, why?

Speaker: Also, Spike's a big dog, so they had to put him under.

Speaker: They did.

Speaker: That's awful.

Speaker: Awful.

Speaker: Just, like, leave him in a kennel.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: Leave him, put him in a dog hotel.

Speaker: There's lots of nice dogs out there.

Speaker: Or I guess we'll have Susie's parents watch as Susie because they weren't invited to come to Paris.

Speaker: Because they weren't invited.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: Um...

Speaker: When Stu and Chaz get to Coco's office, they're greeted by Kira, and the kids sneak into Coco's office and play in her koi pond and eat her chocolate bonbons or whatever they were.

Speaker: Something like that.

Speaker: Coco kicks out the kids, but Angelica hides underneath the table and hears everything about how mad Coco is at Stu and also overhears a meeting with Coco and her boss in which he...

Speaker: lies about having a fiance with a child to get a promotion.

Speaker: That's so crazy.

Speaker: So crazy.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Also, how come every time they have Japanese people in movies, they always name them Yamaguchi?

Speaker: Always.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Always.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: And then Angelica is eventually caught.

Speaker: And so to get out of being in trouble, she brings up how Chaz needs a wife.

Speaker: That is so wild.

Speaker: So wild.

Speaker: It's even wilder that they listen to her.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: This is a child.

Speaker: She's a child.

Speaker: She can't even form like full sentences.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: And they're just like, yeah.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: They're like, oh, you said someone single with a kid?

Speaker: Got it.

Speaker: Got it.

Speaker: Thanks.

Speaker: Meanwhile,

Speaker: Kira, Chaz, and the other kids are watching the parade when Kira tells them about the story of Reptar and the princess.

Speaker: And so Chucky decides that the princess is going to be his new mommy.

Speaker: He's like, I want that one.

Speaker: That one.

Speaker: The princess.

Speaker: She mine.

Speaker: She my mommy.

Speaker: She's mine.

Speaker: everyone goes to dinner that night coco shows up and pushes up on chaz but chucky is not vibing with her no he's definitely not we are also introduced to kira's daughter kimmy and she tells them that the princess lives at the top of the mountain at euro referlian uh kira is not kira kimmy kimmy's a little wild child love that she is yeah

Speaker: She's literally a baby walking around in cowboy boots, like hilarious.

Speaker: Sly.

Speaker: She she saw cowboy Carter coming.

Speaker: She was like, she really did.

Speaker: I'm gonna be prepared.

Speaker: She's all like, I'm ready for Beyonce.

Speaker: And they're like, who?

Speaker: She's like, don't worry about it.

Speaker: Don't worry about it.

Speaker: Actually, I think at this point, Beyonce was already a big name.

Speaker: But but Destiny's Child, though, no?

Speaker: Yeah, Destiny's Child.

Speaker: Yeah, not just Beyonce.

Speaker: She's like, y'all.

Speaker: Beyonce's gonna make a song with Dolly Parton?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Fire.

Speaker: Fire.

Speaker: These boots are for her.

Speaker: And so Coco also somehow talks her way into going out with Chaz and the kids the next day to the park.

Speaker: And so the next day Coco shows up with Kimmy and they walk around the park while she is wearing high heels and like couture.

Speaker: like slay but imagine going to disney and couture couture and heels like just the thought of having trying to walk down main street with a cobblestone try and heal dead like no i roll my ankles on those tracks in tennis shoes i could never and here i am just thinking that like

Speaker: I know she would never, but like, because we are who we are.

Speaker: if we were in Katoran Hills, we stay in a hotel where we can walk from there to the park.

Speaker: So you'd have to survive that walk first.

Speaker: The walk first.

Speaker: And then you get to Disney.

Speaker: And then you get to the park the entire day?

Speaker: Absolutely not.

Speaker: Because even, what day was it?

Speaker: We went out one time and we were like, how close can we get with these buses?

Speaker: Because we are so physically tired that we cannot make this walk by ourselves.

Speaker: It's just insanity.

Speaker: I couldn't do it.

Speaker: So crazy.

Speaker: And so they're walking around the park.

Speaker: Coco's pretending to have a good time.

Speaker: Pretending like she likes kids.

Speaker: She doesn't.

Speaker: She doesn't.

Speaker: And so when Chaz goes to the bathroom, it's revealed that Coco has a headset in so that Kira can help her.

Speaker: But even that's not really helping.

Speaker: It's crazy that she agreed to help her by the way.

Speaker: Right?

Speaker: Like this isn't even part of her job.

Speaker: No.

Speaker: But she's doing it.

Speaker: And so they go on one of the most terrifying looking rides I've ever seen in my entire life called Ooey Ooey World.

Speaker: Oh yeah.

Speaker: Like it looks horrific.

Speaker: I would never.

Speaker: It looks like they're going around like a vat of toxic waste with like these monsters in it.

Speaker: I'm like, how is this appealing to children?

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: I feel like this would just be terrifying.

Speaker: It's terrifying to me.

Speaker: It's terrifying to me.

Speaker: So I just know those babies would have been crying.

Speaker: Oh, absolutely.

Speaker: And so while they're on this ride, Kimmy is like, let's go find the princess.

Speaker: I know a shortcut.

Speaker: And so they run around the park to get to the top of like the mountain.

Speaker: And Coco has Kira call security to find them while Chaz is distracted.

Speaker: But the kids keep evading security, which, by the way, security is ninjas.

Speaker: Yes, it's ninjas because this is a Japanese inspired theme park in Paris.

Speaker: It's so strange.

Speaker: So strange.

Speaker: Like, I get fusion, but that's a fusion that I'm just like, I don't I don't understand it.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Also, it's close enough to the Eiffel Tower that you can see the Eiffel Tower.

Speaker: I was like, where are they putting this?

Speaker: Where is that?

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: Like, even the Disneyland in Paris is nowhere near Paris.

Speaker: It's like crazy.

Speaker: And so, um,

Speaker: kids get to the top of the mountain and they see the animatronic princess but she like goes inside i feel like it's like her time's up uh before chucky can get to her and they're caught by the ninjas and take him back to ooey gooey world and put back into their seats before chas can realize that they're gone which is crazy by the way right like how long is this ride right

Speaker: And so we check in on Spike and he's finally found his poodle and they are in love.

Speaker: That night Chucky has a nightmare slash dream.

Speaker: And we get the song Chucky Chan.

Speaker: Bob number two.

Speaker: While Chaz is gifted a golden inhaler with the wrong name on it.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Coco puts Chad instead of Chaz.

Speaker: I know, is this for me?

Speaker: But it says Chad.

Speaker: But then he convinces himself that it is for him.

Speaker: Which I mean it is.

Speaker: It is for him, but she can't even get your name right.

Speaker: I know.

Speaker: The next morning, Tommy tells Chucky that they are going to see the princess and Angelica tells them that when Chucky...

Speaker: Angelica tells Coco that Chucky wants the princess to be his mom, not her.

Speaker: And she's like, oh, bet.

Speaker: I got a solution for that.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: She's like, I got something for his ass.

Speaker: I'll get him.

Speaker: We didn't cut to a scene where we see Spike and his girlfriend share a pizza, like Lady and the Tramp style.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: It doesn't really work out though.

Speaker: No.

Speaker: like the I guess the cheese is like really cheesy.

Speaker: And so they're like mouths get stuck together.

Speaker: We didn't cut to everyone going to the show.

Speaker: And they're watching the show.

Speaker: And Chucky's like, I want to meet the princess.

Speaker: And while the princess is on stage, like singing this song about how great Reptar is, Coco somehow swaps out with her.

Speaker: Yeah, she pulls a shade out.

Speaker: And as the princess is like walking back from stage, she like throws the shade out and like switches with her.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: And so after she does this,

Speaker: um what's her name coco like starts like pointing towards chucky she even changes the lyrics of the song to chucky and so chucky walks up to the stage and he's like goes to grab this what he thinks it's a princess's hand and then he sees that as coco he's like oh no and even though he's trying to like run away from her chaz is somehow impressed by all of this

Speaker: Yeah, because he offers up his little bear.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And he's like, oh, my gosh, it's a sign.

Speaker: It's a sign.

Speaker: And so he, like, agrees to marry her at some point, which we don't see.

Speaker: Crazy.

Speaker: Yeah, we don't.

Speaker: But the next thing we see, they're getting ready to get married.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: On this same trip.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Surprise.

Speaker: Crazy.

Speaker: And so the day of the wedding, which might even be like the next day, who knows?

Speaker: Probably.

Speaker: Coco takes Tommy's bear and has the kids taken away because she doesn't want them at her wedding.

Speaker: She said, I don't want no kids at my wedding.

Speaker: No kids at my wedding.

Speaker: Which I get.

Speaker: I get it.

Speaker: I get it.

Speaker: When Kira finally stands up to Coco for like,

Speaker: obviously not liking Chaz or Chucky or anyone.

Speaker: Any child, yeah.

Speaker: Coco has her kicked out of her car.

Speaker: Crazy.

Speaker: And so Kira makes her way to the venue via bike.

Speaker: She's committed.

Speaker: While the kids who are being held in like, I don't know, like the prop room for the Reptar animatronic thing.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: They like steal it.

Speaker: And they make their way to the venue to stop the wedding after Angelica admits what she did.

Speaker: And they're still friends with her, by the way.

Speaker: They still let her come.

Speaker: I would have been like, no.

Speaker: Yeah, I would have left her there.

Speaker: Mind you, in the previous movie, Tommy was ready to have some monkeys kill Dill because he wasn't being nice to him.

Speaker: But they decided to take Angelica with them to stop this wedding.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: They've got weird lines of respect.

Speaker: Yeah, very weird.

Speaker: And so they make their way through Paris and they pick up Kimmy.

Speaker: And like the there were like no workers at this daycare.

Speaker: No, because they didn't try to like stop Kimmy from going onto this robot reptar.

Speaker: They didn't.

Speaker: They didn't report the robot that stole Kimmy.

Speaker: Yeah, let's let this happen.

Speaker: Oh yeah, they let a lot of things happen, by the way.

Speaker: Yeah, and so while this is happening, Coco is trying to start the wedding without the kids and Chaz just lets this happen.

Speaker: Yeah, she's rushing.

Speaker: She's all like, just get to the part where we say like, I need to please.

Speaker: Yeah, this man is spineless.

Speaker: Like his child is missing and he's just going to get married.

Speaker: He's like, I don't want Chucky to miss this.

Speaker: And she's all like, no, we can start.

Speaker: He's like, okay, we can start.

Speaker: Like bro?

Speaker: Insane.

Speaker: Insane.

Speaker: And so the babies then fight Coco's other assistant, John Claude, who is in a giant snail robot.

Speaker: What's that mech movie?

Speaker: What?

Speaker: What's that mech movie where it's like two people in a mech and they have to like blink and then they fight others.

Speaker: Oh, I know what you're talking about.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I literally just watched one of those.

Speaker: It's the white guy with the.

Speaker: A couple months ago.

Speaker: Fuck.

Speaker: You know what?

Speaker: I'm going to cheat and I'm going to go through my letterbox and see what it is.

Speaker: Because that's what it was giving.

Speaker: It was because even the setup inside of Reptar where it was very, it was very much like that.

Speaker: Yeah, it was very much reminiscent of that.

Speaker: It's Pacific Rim.

Speaker: Pacific Rim.

Speaker: Yes, it was giving Pacific Rim.

Speaker: Very Pacific Rim.

Speaker: Like you needed two people.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: The robot.

Speaker: Yeah, Chucky and Tommy were both working it.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Um,

Speaker: And so, yeah, they fight him and then they end up knocking him into the sin.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: When they get to the church, Chucky runs inside and says his first, I guess, English word and not like baby word.

Speaker: Yeah, like a fully formed word.

Speaker: Like a fully formed word.

Speaker: Like he says no.

Speaker: Yeah, he just says no.

Speaker: Right after the objections are called.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: And so after Chaz finds out that the kids were kidnapped, he breaks up with Coco and Mr. Yamaguchi fires her.

Speaker: And so Spike somehow ends up at the venue.

Speaker: Don't know how that happened.

Speaker: And he chases her and Jean-Claude off.

Speaker: Also the fact that their dog has been missing for however many days.

Speaker: And no one cared.

Speaker: And no one cared.

Speaker: But these are also the people who are constantly losing their babies.

Speaker: And the kids.

Speaker: True.

Speaker: And not even kids.

Speaker: Babies.

Speaker: They're losing babies.

Speaker: Babies.

Speaker: How do you lose a baby?

Speaker: How is CPS now getting old?

Speaker: I'm just asking.

Speaker: Like, that's insane.

Speaker: Like, sure, you lose a five-year-old.

Speaker: It happens.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But a one year old?

Speaker: How'd you look at a one year old?

Speaker: Insane.

Speaker: Kara then gives Chucky his bear back and she and Chaz have a connection.

Speaker: That man is ready to get married to anyone.

Speaker: Ready to get married to anyone.

Speaker: And so some undisclosed time later, probably a couple of weeks at most,

Speaker: when they get when they got back when they got back to america chaz and kira get married yeah um they bring spike's girlfriend with them back to america he just stole someone's dog yeah and chucky is the new bob father yes he is um chucky and kimmy then go out and dance with their new mom and dad oh and then the babies start a food fight that everyone gets involved in i'd be pissed i'd be so pissed

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And that's the end of the movie.

Speaker: Yes, it is.

Speaker: So you ready for the movie facts?

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: So this was Christine Cavanaugh's final movie role.

Speaker: She played Chucky as she retired from acting in 2003 due to being diagnosed with chronic.

Speaker: I'm not going to try that word.

Speaker: Leukemia.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: She died on December 22nd, 2014.

Speaker: And because of this, Nancy Cartwright became the new voice of Chucky, starting with Rugrats Go Wild in 2003 and then later episodes of Rugrats because Rugrats, I guess, is still running to this day.

Speaker: I genuinely don't know.

Speaker: I know they did a reboot.

Speaker: I know they did.

Speaker: But I don't know if the reboot is still running.

Speaker: So I don't know.

Speaker: But I feel like Rokerettes is older than I am.

Speaker: So like that's 91.

Speaker: So yeah, that's insane.

Speaker: Second movie fact.

Speaker: When Kira calls Stu, the call is shown to be transferred by Matt from Paris to the Pickles house, placing them somewhere in Southern California.

Speaker: So Tommy's an LA baby.

Speaker: Slay.

Speaker: Slay.

Speaker: Um, Coco Labusha's name translates to Coco the mouth, which, yikes, unpleasant.

Speaker: Um, sounds like a porn name.

Speaker: It does.

Speaker: It does.

Speaker: Or like a really bad name that like kids would call a girl in like high school.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: The next movie fact, the kids who provided the voices of Kimmy's schoolmates trying to guess what Kimmy drew were winners of a Nickelodeon contest.

Speaker: Oh, cute.

Speaker: That's cute.

Speaker: Last movie fact, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon movies.

Speaker: This was their first sequel to one of their movies.

Speaker: It's a sequel to the Rugrats movie.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And the Rugrats are the, oh, and it was the only sequel to be had by like a Nickelodeon movie until Rugrats go wild in 2003.

Speaker: Oh, interesting.

Speaker: And so the only franchise to have more than one like sequel was SpongeBob.

Speaker: Yeah, I think there's two Spongebob movies.

Speaker: I've only seen the original one.

Speaker: Yeah, never saw that.

Speaker: That's an iconic movie.

Speaker: We did a movie one day.

Speaker: Funny enough, I was not allowed as a child to watch Spongebob, but I did see the Spongebob movie.

Speaker: You know what?

Speaker: My brother and I didn't really watch Spongebob, but we loved the movie.

Speaker: Mm hmm.

Speaker: I mean, there was a lot of stuff I wasn't allowed to watch as a kid that I watched anyway.

Speaker: Let's be for real.

Speaker: No one was going to stop me from watching what I wanted to watch.

Speaker: I'm a TV and movie savant.

Speaker: If I wanted to watch something, I was going to watch it.

Speaker: You were going to watch it, yeah.

Speaker: It's been like, that's his birth.

Speaker: I'm sorry.

Speaker: But yeah, that's it for our movie facts.

Speaker: So Kelly, it's time for the question.

Speaker: Is this movie iconic?

Speaker: I'm gonna say yes.

Speaker: Absolutely.

Speaker: It's an iconic kids movie.

Speaker: It's iconic kids movie plus the album slaps.

Speaker: The album slaps the if I'm if I'm remembering correctly, this VCR is orange, right?

Speaker: It is.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, see that like this was the era when like when things came out.

Speaker: They went off with like marketing, packaging, like it was a whole vibe.

Speaker: I don't have it anymore, but I feel like my Shrek VHS was green.

Speaker: I could believe that.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: We just have the regular, um, I have a DVD of it, the regular VHS one.

Speaker: It's got the regular paper.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like when, when things came out in like the early, kind of the mid two thousands marketing popped off.

Speaker: like packaging was popped off.

Speaker: You saw like trailers everywhere.

Speaker: There was it was you like they like celebrated when movies came out.

Speaker: Marketing now is lazy.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: They just it's very lazy.

Speaker: It's very oversaturated.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And Jordan's like, oh, yeah, I'm going to go see this movie.

Speaker: And I'm like, there's a new movie.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like I didn't know there was a new boy.

Speaker: That's what's the boys to men boys to men baby boys to men.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: What is it called?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: What are you talking about?

Speaker: Bad Boys.

Speaker: Bad Boys, yeah.

Speaker: I didn't know that there was any Bad Boys.

Speaker: Yeah, I think it comes out in like two weeks.

Speaker: I saw by chance.

Speaker: Or is it next week?

Speaker: No, it's in two weeks.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: But yeah, dude.

Speaker: I was like, what the heck?

Speaker: There's a new one?

Speaker: Yeah, I can't wait.

Speaker: I love a Bad Boys movie.

Speaker: I didn't even see the other one that came out recently.

Speaker: Watch it.

Speaker: My dad loves bad boys, so he went and watched it.

Speaker: Of course he did.

Speaker: And my dad's not even a movie person.

Speaker: I don't understand that.

Speaker: I truly don't understand when people don't like movies.

Speaker: Like, it does not make, it doesn't compute to me.

Speaker: He's not a TV or a movie person.

Speaker: What does he do?

Speaker: Dad stuff?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Does he just go to his room and just stare at the wall?

Speaker: Like, what is he doing?

Speaker: He, like, reads car forums and stuff.

Speaker: Oh, okay.

Speaker: He watches cars videos on YouTube.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Yeah, I guess I'll go out and watch that with him.

Speaker: Yeah, do that.

Speaker: You have to watch the last one so you're not lost.

Speaker: True!

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I got homework.

Speaker: Because you'll be like, why is Vanessa Hudgens in this?

Speaker: What?

Speaker: So that's why you're going to need to watch the last one.

Speaker: Why is Alexandra Ludwig in this?

Speaker: You're going to have to watch the last one.

Speaker: I got stuff to do.

Speaker: Kelly has homework.

Speaker: I do.

Speaker: Kelly has some homework to do, but that's okay.

Speaker: It's alright.

Speaker: She'll get it.

Speaker: But yeah, I agree.

Speaker: This movie is iconic.

Speaker: I love all of the Rugrats movies, actually.

Speaker: I love all of them.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: There's not one I don't like.

Speaker: True.

Speaker: I like the original one.

Speaker: I like this one.

Speaker: And I like Rugrats Go Wild.

Speaker: So yeah.

Speaker: Iconic movie.

Speaker: Kelly Cervantes 1, 2.

Speaker: Okay, Kelly, what are your recommendations for this week?

Speaker: Kelly Cervantes 1, 2.

Speaker: Okay, so first recommendation.

Speaker: It's a movie.

Speaker: It's called the money.

Speaker: It was a movie that they made.

Speaker: Kelly Cervantes 1, 2.

Speaker: Is that that movie about GameStop?

Speaker: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker: Never saw it.

Speaker: Kelly Cervantes 1, 2.

Speaker: It's actually pretty good.

Speaker: Like,

Speaker: They kind of dumbed down like the whole stock thing, which great.

Speaker: Great.

Speaker: Because I don't really.

Speaker: Much needed.

Speaker: But like, there's a part in the beginning where like they show like with the peak of GameStop and like the reactions of the people who are shareholders and they're like, and they like, they have the names of the people and then they show their net worth.

Speaker: And there was one there.

Speaker: It's all like some million.

Speaker: And I'm like, oh,

Speaker: Like that makes sense.

Speaker: And then they show another guy and it's like 12 billion.

Speaker: And I'm like, I can't even comprehend someone's net worth being 12 billion.

Speaker: And then they show the next guy and he's like, yeah, net worth is 16 billion.

Speaker: I'm like, excuse me?

Speaker: Like what?

Speaker: There are people that rich out there that I'm just like, it's crazy.

Speaker: But yeah, I didn't know how intricate the whole GameStop thing went.

Speaker: Like I just remember hearing about it when it happened, but yeah.

Speaker: actually really like the movie.

Speaker: And like the people that they cast in the movie, I did not like I was like, this cast is kind of stacked.

Speaker: So yeah.

Speaker: Okay, maybe watch it then.

Speaker: Yeah, it's like, it's a good movie.

Speaker: I liked it.

Speaker: So I wasn't thinking it was looking good.

Speaker: So I was like, yeah, I get it.

Speaker: And then my second recommendation is No Problems by Ginger Root.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: They're very,

Speaker: They call them so I think they call them some elevator like elevator pop.

Speaker: Very vibey.

Speaker: Elevator pop.

Speaker: Yeah, aggressive in their little about thing on Spotify, it says aggressive elevator pop.

Speaker: That sounds made up, but OK.

Speaker: It is a thousand thousand percent is made up, but like I kind of vibe with it.

Speaker: I want to sit them down and be like, explain what elevator pop is to me.

Speaker: um oh excuse me aggressive elevator soul my bad so yeah that doesn't really help but okay it doesn't but it's i i buy with it it's really cool they make good music so yeah check it out okay cool that's it for me um i have three my first one is here we go uh-oh by coco jones i love coco jones if you don't know that's my future wife yeah um

Speaker: We saw her.

Speaker: We saw her.

Speaker: We met her.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: That was like the day after Beyonce too.

Speaker: What a week.

Speaker: What a week.

Speaker: We were so busy.

Speaker: We were so busy.

Speaker: And now this trip, we literally have one thing planned and nothing else.

Speaker: And I'm going to be there like twice as long.

Speaker: I mean, we kind of have things planned.

Speaker: Low key.

Speaker: I mean, like the last time we had like set plans this time.

Speaker: This guy's like, yeah, we might do this.

Speaker: We might do that.

Speaker: Do you want to find another concert?

Speaker: You want to just stack it?

Speaker: I mean, yeah.

Speaker: If you can find one, I will gladly go.

Speaker: We'll see what's going on.

Speaker: We'll go to a comedy show.

Speaker: How about that?

Speaker: Oh, fun.

Speaker: We can go to one of your casino thingies they have out there.

Speaker: Oh, shoot.

Speaker: You're right.

Speaker: Maybe there's a concert happening there.

Speaker: A day party, maybe?

Speaker: I'll have to see.

Speaker: We'll have to see.

Speaker: My second recommendation is Do You by Neo.

Speaker: Hmm.

Speaker: Neo, the fall off should be studied of Neo.

Speaker: Because what happened?

Speaker: No idea.

Speaker: Like, this man was a hitmate.

Speaker: What happened?

Speaker: What happened?

Speaker: He also wrote one of my favorite songs of all time.

Speaker: Wrote and sang.

Speaker: One of my favorite songs of all time.

Speaker: And now, where is he?

Speaker: No idea.

Speaker: I need someone to explain.

Speaker: I feel like a lot of these artists come out, produce great music, and then just hide.

Speaker: Disappear.

Speaker: What's going on?

Speaker: Someone explain to me.

Speaker: Oh, if you want to know what that song is, that's one of my favorites of all time.

Speaker: gonna laugh at me from where the song is yep Kelly knows me so well ah but that song is so good why is it a part of the princess and the frog soundtrack one of my favorite songs ever

Speaker: Undeniably happier.

Speaker: Oh, I love that song.

Speaker: Let me go to my next recommendation.

Speaker: My last recommendation is Interview with the Vampire Season 2.

Speaker: Really enjoying it.

Speaker: Love this show.

Speaker: I need, what's his name?

Speaker: Lestat to come back.

Speaker: They keep having him like pop up every now and then.

Speaker: I need a full Lestat maybe episode.

Speaker: Sayo?

Speaker: or something, I don't know, but I need him to be there full time in the story.

Speaker: Full time.

Speaker: That's what's really missing, like a good, like, Lestat episode.

Speaker: So let's make that happen, hopefully.

Speaker: Also, I'm really, I was really a little scared when they recast Claudia.

Speaker: But this woman's really good, so I'm liking it.

Speaker: really liking it actually what would uh love for the original claudia to be there but you know she had to go film avatar so like i understand we get it so it's like film film interview with the vampire film with james cameron like it's not really a debate there plus she was contractually obligated to film the avatar movies so none we can do that

Speaker: But yeah, watch it.

Speaker: It's a really good show.

Speaker: Well acted, well produced, well written.

Speaker: A new episode for me comes out tonight and we can watch it.

Speaker: Yeah, get on that.

Speaker: It's on AMC.

Speaker: But yeah, that's it for me.

Speaker: So thank you so much for listening.

Speaker: What is your favorite Rugrats movie?

Speaker: I believe mine is this one.

Speaker: But honestly, I think any of them are valid for being your favorites.

Speaker: Maybe not Rugrats Go Wild.

Speaker: But like everything is valid.

Speaker: But I still like that movie, but like I can't see how that could be your favorite.

Speaker: But, you know, it has Bruce Willis in it.

Speaker: So like maybe that's why I don't know.

Speaker: But yeah, that's it for me.

Speaker: Don't forget to share this with your friends and your family.

Speaker: Subscribe to us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and rate and review us on Apple Podcasts with five stars.

Speaker: Everyone have a good week.

Speaker: We're so much closer to seeing Megan the stallion.

Speaker: I think when this episode comes out, there's what two weeks.

Speaker: Two weeks.

Speaker: Yay.

Speaker: I got to put my vacation in.

Speaker: I already did.

Speaker: I did that literally when I bought the tickets.

Speaker: I just need to find something to wear.

Speaker: I'm saying, I think I have like a, I have an idea.

Speaker: I'm going Y2K look.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I need to find something for that.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I feel like H&M might have some good 90s, early 2000s shirts I can wear.

Speaker: I'll figure it out.

Speaker: Try forever too as well.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But yeah, everyone have a good week and stay iconic.

Speaker: Stay iconic, yeah.

Speaker: Bye.

Speaker: Bye.
