Kelly's Tough Week and Gaming Frustrations
00:00:06
Speaker
Kelly is such a mess. I don't know what I'm gonna do with her. I'm still alive and that's all that really matters. Okay. Um, We're gonna see if you think you're a comic, the movie podcast, and I would like to begin by congratulating the queen, Ashley Tisto, for her no platinum single, He Said, She Said. Yes! There we go! Yep, yep. Platinum Baby. um that That song has, in my home, gone diamond, but it's officially got gone platinum.
00:00:46
Speaker
We love you. Mm-hmm. Love you. there's There's like at least two other songs I feel like should be platinum, but I'm not gonna talk about that right now. How how was your week, Kelly? It was all right. It's okay. um I finally got caught up on my work at work. This is the first time it's been like that in in weeks. Fine. Yeah, so, you know, great. Also, one of my co-workers thinks I'm quitting and I didn't want to confirm that for her. What did she think you're quitting? Well, she, we were talking about like my workload and how like, one of my, like, and one of my responsibilities specifically. And she's like, you look like you don't like it. And you look like you're always stressed. I'm like, I am. I am.
00:01:41
Speaker
and And she said something along the lines of, you know, we get good workers like you and then, um, management just pours a bunch of stuff on you and then you get overworked and then you want to quit. And then I'm all like, Oh, well, and but in my mind, I'm like, I've been looking for jobs for the past two months, but you don't need to know that. and
00:02:05
Speaker
So yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She doesn't know how right she is. Yeah, they never do. They never do. Um, but yeah, they are going to be screwed without me. Same for my job. So yeah. Um, love that for me. Um,
00:02:30
Speaker
what else happened this week? Oh, this is going to be very specific. Um, but I'm really, I'm still upset about it and I'm still sad. Um, I've been playing trails in the sky. It's a role-playing game from like the early 2000s. And, uh, I've had issues with it on my laptop. And, uh, one of my friends is like, you should just like save like every like 15 minutes just in case. Cause I've had an issue before where it crashed. And I'm one of those people that like, I'll and like, I have anxiety save. So when I do eventually save, I'll save like two or three times just in case.
00:03:10
Speaker
Okay. Um, but I didn't get it into my bones to save every 15 minutes or whatever. So, um, I'll like save after I like defeat like a big boss or like level up or whatever. Um, I forgot to do that yesterday and I lost like two hours of gameplay. definite

00:03:30
Speaker
So I, I, it just, it crashed on me and I wanted to cry and I opened up my game because I couldn't remember when the last time I saved was. And I was like, Oh, and then I just closed my laptop because I was like, I'm, I invested too much already into this game. I'm not even going to try and attempt to, to get where I was. I, yeah, I'm very upset about it still. Okay. It's fine. We've, we've all been there. We've all been there and it feels dumb to be upset about it, but I did invest a lot of time in it. So I will be upset about it. Okay. Yeah, you should be. Yeah. Yeah.
00:04:10
Speaker
So how was your week, Jordan? um It was fine. Like Kelly, I've also been dabbling and looking for another job. So I had a interview on Wednesday. Oh, yeah, you did. I think it went OK. Who knows? Whatever. that's good i'm like I'm not even seriously looking. I didn't even apply to this job. Like a recruiter reached out to me like I didn't think apply to this job. So I kind of don't even really care. um But if the numbers stack up, then I do care. Yeah, it is. more It is more money. It's much more money. Um, but it's five days in office.
00:04:50
Speaker
who who Um, yeah, so that happened. I took that interview at work. Yes, you did because we're going to get paid. oh i do it yeah I literally texted Kelly. I was like, should I just like request the time off and just. No. And then she was like, no, let's do it at work. And ah and I did. Might as well get paid while you're doing it. Might as well get paid while I do it. And then um yesterday I took a reformer Pilates class and I'm never doing that again. Wait, no, you're not. I hated that so much. but So when I want to go, you don't want to go with me?
00:05:35
Speaker
Do I have to? I'm just asking. That was really hard. and I know. I'm really sore. I know. Even the um the the teacher like emailed me yesterday after class, she was like, oh, it's nice to meet you and you did really good. um She was like, I hope to see you again. I'm like, girl, no, you will never see me again. You will never see me again. You specifically scared me away from this. Yeah. these are Literally ah the girl next to me quit like 20 minutes into the class. No.
00:06:13
Speaker
She was like, I can't do this. And she just left. And I was like, I want to leave too, so badly. But like, I'm not a bitch. I'm not going to leave. Yeah. Mama didn't raise no bitch. I'm going to finish it out. I'm going to finish this class. And I did. I was literally, I was literally shaking at the end because I don't work out. Like I was fine doing like the leg portion. Like it hurt, but like I cycle. So like, it wasn't that bad. Right. It was the ab portion that was killing, I don't work out abs, that was killing me. Yeah, <unk>d I'd be dying too. I was like, I can't breathe.
00:07:00
Speaker
My abs are doing things I've never had to do before. Also, they make you wear grip socks, which like understandable. They should also give us like gloves. Literally, on my hands were slipping from all the sweat. Oh, god, no. So yeah, I'm good. I'm probably never gonna do another one of those again. Can I freak you out? What? Do you know that there's, um you know, there how there's hot yoga. her There's hot Pilates. I know. I because I texted my I texted my co worker because she told me to do it.
00:07:43
Speaker
And I was like, I hated it. She was like, Oh, I'm doing hot Pilates today. And I was like, I'll ask her on, I'll ask her in person. I need like an in person. yeah No reaction. Um, no, if I had done that and the room was hot, I most definitely would have left. I would have gotten somebody that would have gotten me. leave I would have been like, nah. Because they make it hot in them rooms. Yeah, I'm good.
Olympic Events and Unlikely Sports Enthusiasm
00:08:17
Speaker
I will not subject myself to hell and Pilates. So yeah, um, I still have a couple of days before this free trial of class pass goes away. So I need to find some other workouts to try. She wants me to, you you do a, um, you do a biking class with me though. Yeah.
00:08:39
Speaker
Oh yeah, I really, I did a biking class last week or the week before last week, whenever, um, I really enjoyed it. Okay. So we can do biking together. We can, yeah, we can do cycling. Oh, does he have to go to Pilates by myself? Most definitely not doing that. understand No, also it's very expensive. Um, no. Um, so yeah. And then my last thing is I have been watching the Olympics pretty much nonstop. Heck yeah. Pretty, pretty much nonstop. Um, and normally I don't watch sports. It's not that I don't like sports. I like sports. I just olympics is a different thought i just normally just don't watch sports.
00:09:28
Speaker
you Like if I go to a game, I will thoroughly enjoy myself, but it's just something about watching it on TV. There's usually just like a disconnect for me. During the Olympics though, I'm watching everything. you I literally watched speed walking one day. Speed walking is kind of interesting though I will say. Speed walking. And I was like, why are these people getting penalized? Apparently like both of your feet can't be up at the same time. I'm like, Were they up at the same time? I was like, I don't know. It's crazy when they show like the, um, when they do that, and then they show like the, uh, they're like up close and slo-mo and they're like, and you can see the mill. I'm like, where? Right. I'm like, where are you talking about? And like, how did you see that with a normal eye? Like, right. And at normal speed. Cause I know that's how you're watching it. I watched that yesterday. I was watching handball.
00:10:23
Speaker
Really? You watched the handball one? I watched handball yesterday sir with my grandpa. um And then I watched, of course, volleyball. Of course. Can't wait. I think the quarterfinals were coming up. Can't wait. um Gymnastics, of course. Of course. I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning to watch gymnastics. Really? Yes. What else? Basketball. I didn't really watch that much tennis. I think I watched like one game of tennis. You know what? You know what? I watched the tennis games when I'm at the gym. Because for some reason, they're always on. Yeah, I watched one game of tennis. I think tennis is over now. So that sucks. Swimming. Swimming, of course. i literally i learned Before we started, what I don't think I watched a single diving event. Really? I love the diving events. They're so cool. I don't know how, but I missed them. I didn't see a single one of them.
00:11:21
Speaker
um Swimming, of course, I literally watched the, um, the woman's four by a hundred mixed relay right before we started recording this. Um, hopefully we're done in time so that I can watch the men's 100 meter final. I've been watching the heats and I just finished watching the semi-finals. So i those are so in intense so i mean it's so intense. So intense. Um, I'm really excited.
00:11:52
Speaker
Um, tomorrow is the last of the gymnastics events. I'm very sad, but I'm going to, I'm going to watch it. Am I supposed to be working? Yeah, but I'm still going to have it on. Work can wait. The Olympics only comes for, yeah, this is my country. I had to do my civic duty and watch them own bios, win more gold medals. My patriotism is never stronger than during the Olympics. Yeah. Like, honestly, I'm the most American I could ever be at this moment. Right. Voting coming up in a couple months, I don't care. I don't care. Olympics, sign me up. U.S.A. U.S.A. U.S.A. But yeah, um.
Movie Experiences and Reactions
00:12:46
Speaker
That's pretty much all I've been doing. It's watching the Olympics. I did i did go to the movies on Thursday to see Trap. um It was OK. Yeah. It was OK. My parents and my brother's girlfriend went to see um Twister. They loved him. You didn't say Twister, Kelly. So we we all went to the movie theater at the same time. But my brother and I watched Deadpool and Wolverine. And they watched, um, Twister. Boo Kelly. You need to go see Twisters. And they're, they're bringing it back for 40X and I want to go see it in 40X. You should go see it in 40X. I don't want to see it. I'm actually going to encourage this. I want to go see it in 40X. Actually, they're doing both of the Twister movies, like the original one and the new one.
00:13:38
Speaker
I might skip seeing- Both of them in 40X? Yeah, I might skip seeing the new one and Mike just go see the original one in 40X. We'll see how it happens, how like my schedule lines up, if all of the seats are going to be full, because what I was looking before, like all the seats were fulled. I was like, dang. Because it's 40X Twister. So yeah, what was- 4DX was made for Twister movies. It was made for it was made for twister for disaster Yes, yeah. Like, I wouldn't care to see Deadpool and Wolverine and 4DX. Like, I don't- That wouldn't do much. yeah No. Twister, though. Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. So yeah. That was my week. But okay, Kelly. Go ahead and tell us about our movie this week.
Introduction to the Cheetah Girls' Journey
00:14:38
Speaker
going to be cheetah-licious. Cheetah-licious.
00:14:43
Speaker
So this week, we are talking about the Cheetah Girls. Yay. Yay. So we started this movie out with the Cheetah Girls performing at a kid's birthday party. And they are singing Together Weekend. Thought number one. Thought number one.
00:15:06
Speaker
Well, I my only question is what little sibling would want their siblings group to perform at their birthday party? Right? I would be so embarrassed. That but also I feel like it would be the um it's my birthday. Why are you making about? Yeah, right. Or even about you. Right? Why it's my birthday, especially if it's a kid, I feel like it's so much stronger. They, like, no like sibling would want the other sibling to perform. No. Like, unless your salon, why would you want your sibling performing at your room? Right. Hey, right, know? Like, I could see that. i Yeah, that's the only case I could see, which is the only way you can perform.
00:15:50
Speaker
Yeah, you're like, oh, your sister Beyonce wants to perform. Yeah, what? Absolutely. She's just gonna do one song. Is she sure? Yeah, she want to do more. Let's let's do more. Because I'm not here more. um After the performance, ah Galleria tries to make the other girls feel better because there was a little tumble at the end um of the performance and she like congratulates the girls on doing other parts of the performance very well. Also, they tell us in this moment, or Gabriella tells us in this moment that they're freshmen. I'm like freshmen. Y'all look 20. I thought they were like seniors in this movie, or juniors at least because in the second one they are also in high school. But I'm like, freshmen? No, they're freshmen in this one.
00:16:47
Speaker
They look at least 16, like bare minimum. like i was the I was thinking they look 20. Really? they They look like they're 20 years old. Granted, they probably are. but They probably are. They look 20. They don't look like 14, 15-year-old girls. No. No. Especially at the beginning of a year, 14-year-old? Absolutely not. No.
00:17:15
Speaker
And um gal Galleria believes that they can win the Manhattan talent show that's being held out their school. And that could like jumpstart there their future of being a girl group. The girls start to make their way home and Galleria and Chichi start dreaming about their future in fame. On their way, they stopped to dance in front of a new poster for Scheherazade. I think it's another like pop star. um And a crowd forms around them before gallery remembers that she has to get home to take care of Toto gallery eggs Two things one New Yorkers would not care about teenage girls dancing in the street
00:18:00
Speaker
It there would have to be a lot more than that to get a New Yorker's attention. In fact, they would probably be upset because they're blocking the sidewalk. They're blocking the sidewalk. Yeah, they were straight up dancing in the middle of the sidewalk. In the middle of the sidewalk. Yeah. There was a little like outcropping in front of the store that they could have danced in front of because they wouldn't be in this in the sidewalk, but they were in they were in the sidewalk. They most definitely would have been cussed out. Oh, absolutely absolutely. Absolutely. And then secondly, how do you forget about your dog? right oh my gosh like it's not like this like a new dog like it's not this is a established she's probably had this dog since childhood i i go out for more than like an hour or two and i'm like i have to get home to my dog like she has to be let out um my dogs have a good six seven hours before someone needs to be home
00:18:59
Speaker
Yeah. Like saying for my dog, but like still, I feel, I feel bad and like leaving her at home for a long time. So like four hours, like depending on how far away I am, four hours is like when I start being like, Oh, maybe I should start like saying goodbye to everybody. So I can head out because by the time I get home, you know, And no matter what time I leave, if it starts, if it's like dark outside, I really get it like anxious. I'm like, Oh no. Yeah. Same, same, same, same, same. It's just, it just happens once you have a dog, if you just, after a while, you know that there's like a time limit you have. Yeah.
00:19:39
Speaker
So Galeria gets home and her parents give her a hard time about forgetting to do her chores, like taking care of Toto. And when she messes up, trying to help them out with their like respective businesses because she misses writing down an appointment for her mom. She forgets to get something for her dad. It's the whole thing. She then tells them that she has a plan of getting famous very quick. And so she doesn't have time really to worry about everything else. Because they're focusing on the Manhattan talent show, but her parents are like,
00:20:17
Speaker
We support you, but you gotta to be responsible. Yeah. You gotta, you gotta worry about other stuff too. Like it can't just be all your cheetah girl stuff. We then see Do is working at her job, and we see Chichi getting back home, and we see her that that her mom is getting ready for a date with her Parisian boyfriend. Her trying to go out in the crot. It's not a tank tub, but kind of like a tank, like a... I know. Yeah, it's, it's kind of a tank top. Yeah. I don't really know that much about clothes. And all I know is she shouldn't have been wearing that. No, she really shouldn't have. It looked like when she put it on, it looked like she was wearing a little kid shirt because like the crop was weird on her. Like it's, it's a teenager shirt. Yeah. But Jucci starts to tell her or tries to tell her about the Cheetah girls and what they've been doing recently, but her mom is just not listening.
00:21:20
Speaker
Galleria is then working. We also get our first Cheetahlicious. We do get our first Cheetahlicious, yes. For a movie about you know the Cheetah girls and how we make fun of like all of their Cheetah-centric lingo, they don't say Cheetahlicious a lot. They said it three times. I counted. Yeah, I was about to say, because like in my mind, I could only pull out two, like this moment and then later on. Yeah. I think when, um, when Chi Chi shows dough something, she's like, it's Chi delicious. And I'm like, they don't say that a lot. They say it once here, once in like the Catholic area. And then once when, um, when Chanel is, has bought some clothes for. yeahranda Yeah. Yeah.
00:22:14
Speaker
And so later we see Galleria is working on some music and calls Chi Chi to share it with her. And she thinks it's a bot. Yeah. Also, I have a question. Yeah. How do apartments that have elevators that go like in? How does that work? I don't know. Like I know now they have like cards and stuff where you like you can only go to a certain floor. But how was that? How was that working in 2003? Right. Like, was it like one of those um key, click your thing kind of deal, you think? Maybe. Because that elevator, it didn't have a door. It didn't have a door. Warehouse ones, where's the see through? Yeah. Pull up thing. Because I had the same thought when when her mom was leaving. And when she first got in, I was like,
00:23:09
Speaker
Right. How do you, how do you not end up at like someone else's home yeah and be in their home, their you know? Weird. Weird. ah Yeah. People who live in apartments like that, do they even make apartments like that still? I hope not. I, when I went to, when I was in Costa Rica though, we did stay at a place where like every floor was like a different like penthouse. Mm-hmm. And to get to your floor, because like when you like got to your floor, like opened up into the paint house, but it had a door. So that was kind of different for that. yeah But you had to like scan your card and then you can only go to your floor. Yeah. So if you live in like an older one, how does that work? Let us know. Yeah. For those of you who owned an apartment like that in like the early 2000s,
00:24:06
Speaker
Did you have like a a person in the elevator all the time? or Yeah. Like watching you. To make sure you you didn't go in and steal someone's stuff. Right, right, right. And like knew you and knew what floor you were on. Just wondering. Yeah. I'd like to know. So at school the next day, the girls are asked by Hambone. That's
Talent Show Preparations and School Dynamics
00:24:32
Speaker
not his name. I think that's just his name. I learned his light name later on. Who's Hanbone? She called the gallery or calls him Hanbone? Just the blog guy. His name's Derek. Derek. Calls him Hanbone in that moment and like I forgot what his name was i was until like the end of the movie when I was like, oh shit, his name is Derek. But I was freaked out because Derek's friend's name is Mackerel.
00:24:58
Speaker
And I was, or at least that's what Galleria called him. Yeah, exactly. like i was like I don't know that man's name. I was like, mackerel. ah Okay. So I put him on for this moment and then I i don't know what his friend's name is and I never went back to look it up. so I need to know the backstory of these nicknames. Right. And I feel like they change every time Galleria talks to them and until like the end when she calls them Derek. So at school, Derek or Hambone, whatever, asks to change times for their practice. or Those was auditions. Auditions, yes. um And ah Galleria begrudgingly agrees because he's all like, we're going to be so good, blah, blah, blah, you're like, we're going to blow them away and then you're going to come up after us and be like awful. And it's like, I don't know about that. And after they leave Galleria, um
00:25:59
Speaker
Oh no, a gallery agrees. And then as they leave, the others think that he is into her, but she's like, I don't see it. He is very much into her. He's very much into her. He went up to her ear and was like, you know, you steal my boob. Right. Right. is very much He was not hiding in the fact that he likes her. No. She was in denial about it. Because she does like him too. You can see you can see that. So. Um, later the cheetah girls get together and choochie gives an inspirational talk before they perform for drink. Doug box number two, Cinderella. Yep.
00:26:39
Speaker
we somebody in sitting in and waste but body Oh, Trevor. Number two. ultra bop yes like it's a special star next to it yeah mvp hall of famer cinderella yes like all the other songs are a bop but cinderella is that girl one of one it's that girl everyone wants to be cinderella um after the performance drinka is crying and tells each of them how they are all like her like her miss drinka champagne is very dramatic
00:27:23
Speaker
We love Miss Drinka Champagne. We love Miss Drinka Champagne. Which, how did the school let her use that name? Right. Right. They're all like, oh, your performance name was Drinka Champagne. You can keep using that. You can keep using that in front of the children. We love that charm that you're bringing to the school. So let's just keep it. They can just call you either Miss Champagne or Miss Drinka. Yeah. Whatever they will, whichever you prefer.
00:27:51
Speaker
Imagine going to high school and being like, hi Miss Champagne. Hi Miss Champagne. Amazing. But she tells them that they are in and that that they have a very high chance of winning. Right then, Jackal Johnson, owner of a record label, walks in and says that he sees potential in their group. Did he actually see them perform? he didn't. Also, why is he skulking around a high school? That's right weird. what That is weird. And the fact that drink didn't even know that he was coming by. Yeah, even weirder. Yeah. Well, what are you doing out here, man?
00:28:32
Speaker
Do you do this normally, like off campus? Right, do you just randomly walk into high schools, like looking for children? How did you get in here? Right. There's a front desk somewhere, right? Did you find it? Yeah. Where's your hi, my name is badge on your jacket. um Galleria then tries to take control of the conversation with Jackal, but her mom comes in immediately and was all like, yeah, they're just doing it as a hobby. like don't worry about them, and tries to take the girls out, but Jackal manages to give Galleria one of his cards. Look, Mr. Rosia was right. I'm sorry, because where are you talking why are you talking to my child about business with no adult person? Right. Since the beginning of this movie, she's just been right. She was looking out for them girls like nobody else was.
00:29:28
Speaker
You then see that the girls are being dropped off and it's just Galleria and her mom. And the two of them start to argue about the whole thing between Jackal. um And it continues even once they get inside the house about her future and how she needs to, you know, stay in school, focus on that first and then she can pursue, you know, singing later. But she is not wrong. Yeah. You're like, like we said, like 14, 15 years old. You have time. You have so much time. time
00:30:04
Speaker
Chanel then complains about not being able to talk with Jackal to her mom. And to make her feel better, she says that she's going to take of her out for a shopping trip. And then she drops the bomb about how they might be moving to Paris with her boyfriend.
00:30:23
Speaker
I also would have been like, no. Yeah, I also would have been, no. That's not happening. Because who is this man? Your boyfriend? Y'all aren't even married or anything, and you want me to move to Paris? And you want me to move to Paris. No. Has Chanel even met him? I don't think so. Yeah. The way that she's asking, I don't think she has. Absolutely not. Yeah, no.
Group Tensions and Personal Challenges
00:30:50
Speaker
um Franco and Earthia then talk about how to deal with Galleria and her dreams. And Franco's like, you know, just let's give her a chance to just try it out, you know? Which I mean, kind of to an extent. I mean, go see what the offer is. Why not? Right, right. Go see what it is. like me like me with the shop interview. I didn't even apply to this club. I took it anyway. I was like, let's just do what they got. See what they have to say.
00:31:25
Speaker
While Chanel and Galleria are talking about their drama, Franco and Dorothea then go to Galleria and give her the go-ahead to talk to Jackal. And um right after that, Chanel then calls her out for immediately putting herself as the head of the group to Jackal. when they first talked, but she's, Galleria's like, Oh, I'm just being the spokesperson. Don't worry about it. Like, it's okay. It's not okay.
00:31:57
Speaker
The next day at school, Galleria talks to Jackal's office and says that they will wait for his call. And the school is immediately buzzing about the fact that the Cheetah girls are talking with Jackal. Gossip spreads fast, people. It does. but also Galleria likes to yeah. Yeah. She said yeah, she's a yapper certified. Yeah she sistererified app um And While the girls are messing around during lunch Galleria is all like y'all gotta start acting like stars You're embarrassing me because Miss Aqua was the first girl to have hot sauce in her bag. I got hot sauce in my bag I
00:32:39
Speaker
yeah That's one thing. That inspired that was inspiration. that was I wouldn't be surprised. Beyonce is a Cheetah Girl stam. Yeah. I'm pretty sure it's rumored that Solange was supposed to be in this movie. now is matter That is one of my movie facts. Yeah. Beyonce is well aware of the Cheetah Girls.
00:33:05
Speaker
She saw that script with Solange and was like, I love that one. I love that. I'm going to start putting hot sauce in my bag.
00:33:13
Speaker
She made a, she made a real mental note when she saw that. She was like, she really did. She really said, that she really said bet. Let's go to the store. I'm gonna buy some, some cholula, some Tabasco. I don't know. Put it in my bag. yeah Let's go. Uh, while Doe is at her job, she sees that she might not get credit for her lessons because, um, the auditorium is being used on that Saturday for auditions. And to make up the credit of her teachers so is giving her the option to help with the auditions to make up the lost credit. Also, we never like understand what what that whole deal is. I'm guessing she like cleans. Doe works to pay off her a dance lessons. Yeah, she like cleans up the studio or whatever to pay off her dance lessons. Feels kind of illegal.
00:34:06
Speaker
probably but okay but that's all right we then see that the day has come for the cheetah girls to meet jackal and aqua Chanel and Del were there but Galleria and her mom are stuck in traffic and so they have to get out of their cab and hook it to the office this could never be me Yeah. First off, I'm not late to things. Secondly, I would never be late to something like this. Never be late to that. I would be there an hour early. That's what I was going to say. I would be there an hour early, 30 minutes at the latest. Yeah. And even then, I'd be in the parking spot looking at the building and being like, should I get out and walk the building? Should I?
00:34:53
Speaker
Should I go in and find where the office is first and like wait in the lobby? There's too many variables. There's too many variables. Like I'm going to be there early, early. Oh yeah. when i do and When I was doing in-person interviews a while ago, I was showing up 40 minutes early, finding out exactly, like if it was in an office building, I'd find out exactly where that office was. And then either wait in the lobby or go up. and then like wait outside for a little bit and then like once I hit like the 10 minute mark before and then I walk in because there's no way I'm showing up late. No. I'm gonna be early. I'm gonna be early. So there's one thing you need to know about me, I'm gonna be early. Right. So while they are waiting, Jacqueline shows the other girls the office and when Galleria and her mom show up
00:35:47
Speaker
She finally sees that she's stepped in dog poop and tracked it into the office. Yeah, tracking shit in the halls. Not a good look. Yeah, not a good look. The fact that no one said anything to her, though, that's also wild. Right. And she had been walking so much, I'm surprised she didn't scrape it off her shoe. Wipe it off, yeah. But oh well. that Either that dog poop was huge and it just like got like all over the shoe somehow. Or or something, I don't know. But Tucci helps Galleria clean off her shoe. And after freaking out for a second, she finally pulled herself together. Galleria is ready to talk business, but Jackal's like, we won't we don't want to worry about the business right now. like It's fine. It's been taken care of by Aqua somehow.
00:36:37
Speaker
yeah And when she tries to show him a new song, he immediately sidesteps it and gives a Adorthi, the contracts to look over for the girls, which she immediately starts revising. And it's like, I'm gonna get my lawyer to look at these two. Yeah. And Miguel really was like, no, we don't need a lawyer. I'm like, no, you do. No, you do. You really do, baby. You very
Contract Discussions and School Balance
00:37:01
Speaker
much do. And actually, her lawyer is not even gonna do. You need an entertainment lawyer. Right. Because there are, there is a difference. There's a difference. There's different laws. A regular lawyer ain't gonna cut it. It's not gonna cut it.
00:37:17
Speaker
And so, um, after Galleria has that whole freak out about the business side of the whole thing, Jackal immediately says that the next steps are to record a demo, market it and start making money because that's how simple it is. Um, after talking about such a fast schedule, Dorothy tries to stand up for the girls being like, Hey, they've got school. They have this talent show coming up. Like we need like a balance. I will say though. They did have ample amount of time to learn and record that song. He was like a week. I was like, that's enough time. Yeah, that's not bad. To learn and record a song. No, for sure. But she she didn't think so. She thought they needed more time. But I was just like, I don't think they need that much time. but Yeah. OK. Yeah. Because I i mean.
00:38:09
Speaker
Yeah, it's not to just lay down a demo. Yeah, it's not bad. It's not, yeah it's just a it's not like you're learning and perfecting the whole song. It's just, you're laying down just simple tracks. Yeah. Like we can worry about the background vocals and stuff later. Like we just, right but we mostly just need like the lead vocals. Yeah, right. So Galleria starts to shut her down immediately on that too. um And when Jackal says that they're going to record on Saturday, Galleria immediately says that they'll be there, even though but the talent show was that day. After the meeting, the girls talk about the talent show, and Dorothy tries to be sensible about that and about their contracts, but Galleria is immediately shutting her down and the other girls again, being like, we can make the talent show, like it'll be fast, don't worry about it. We're in the big like game now, which you're not really.
00:39:07
Speaker
But okay. You technically don't even have a recording contract yet because you haven't signed it. You don't. You have the contracts in your hand that need to be revised and looked over. So at school the next day, Galleria immediately starts to act high and mighty. And after what, two or three tellings of the Jackal story, everyone else is immediately over it.
00:39:32
Speaker
um and when the others find out that people have already made a bash website that was fast it was so fast it was like what an hour yeah an hour after galleria starts talking about jackal there's a there's a bash website already yeah they were like oh i'm sick of her already yeah oh yeah the you know what they probably were sick of galleria before and they were just had something winning this this just took it over the edge Yeah, because that's way too fast to create a website in the early 2000s.
00:40:11
Speaker
So Chuchi then tries to defend Galleria saying that she's, you know, just being excited and whatever, but Aqua and Do are immediately over it. And they're like, you need to talk to her about this. Because you're closer to her than than we are. So you need to talk some sense into her. We get the iconic, iconic when I say somebody, I mean, I mean, you. Yes. Honestly, she she has bars, bro. ah
00:40:42
Speaker
When her personality is, I will say though, her personality is different in every single movie, though.
00:40:50
Speaker
It really is a phase, mom. Aqua does not have a consistent personality in any of these movies. No. She's essentially a new character every movie. A new character every movie. I'm sorry, Aqua Girl. Yeah. You know? They didn't care about you enough. They really didn't. They were like, what did we do for her last movie? Did we like that? Nah. We can start over. That's not gonna work. Yeah. Yeah. For this movie, I'm feeling...
00:41:22
Speaker
So when practice for the talent show start, Drinka tries to get the girls to practice and Galleria says that they are recording on Saturday and might not make the show. Drinka is disappointed in Galleria because she's like, you said you would do the talent show like you gave your word. The Galleria stands firm and insults her over her failed career. Yeah. And how she's jealous about their rising. Yeah. Cause like initially I was like, why does drinka care so much whether or not these girls perform at this high school talent show? High school talent show. Right. But then Galleria had to go in. um
00:42:01
Speaker
Open her mouth, bro. Open her mouth and talk about her failed music career. and I was just like, why did you do that? No, for real. Yeah, that was so unnecessary. Like she was literally just trying to be like, you know, when you give someone your word, you should try to try to keep it. Thank you. I just immediately like, yeah, like your failed music career. And we're all like, well, when opportunity knocks, like you have to take it, right? as it Oh, okay. Oh,
00:42:32
Speaker
Yeah, if I was Drinka, I'd have to look at her and be like, I have to go before I beat your ass. Yeah. I gotta to go. I gotta go. I just teach here. I can't be fighting children. Right. I can't, I'm too old to go to jail over aggravated assault against a minor. So I, I'm removing myself from this situation. I'm removing myself, exactly.
00:42:57
Speaker
Um, Drinka then says, at least she has her word, which she does keep. Chuchi and Do then tell Galleria that she is doing way too much. And Do goes to leave, but Galleria insults her clothing and is like, yeah, you're a star now. So here's some inspo pics that I made and printed out for you. You should go buy these when we see Jacqueline next time so you look professional. um But Do doesn't dig in. And she's like, yeah, you can keep that for yourself. And she leaves.
00:43:31
Speaker
Galleria is still not backing down, and Aqua tells Chanel that she has to talk to her. like this is This is way too much. she I told you to talk to her earlier, and you didn't. That Saturday, or when the auditions are coming up, Joe is dancing with the other people auditioning, and the choreographer likes her so much that he invites her to dance with the gold medal crew over the summer, which she will get paid for, and is given a permission slip. to show her parents to get the signature. Chi Chi is home and goes to get her mom to go on the shopping trip, but she finds a note saying that she has been taken out on a date with her boyfriend. And she's all like, here's my card. Just go, but go without me. Get me something that I like. Ditching your child for a man is a major red flag. Like that's a major red flag. Like what? No. Also sending your
00:44:30
Speaker
your 14, 15 year old daughter into New York City by herself is by herself crazy. That's crazy. I don't care if y'all have lived there all your lives. You don't let a teenager into New York City by herself. Yeah, that's weird.
00:44:49
Speaker
You couldn't at least like get her father to take her shopping instead. Right. Or like hit up Dorothy and be like, Hey, I was going to take my daughter out, but maybe you and Galleria can go out with my daughter. I like get give her some type of company in chaperones. She's like, hello? Chichi then hears a call from a realtor to her mom ah trying to sell the apartment. Like she's trying to sell the apartment behind her daughter's back. And so Chichi gets upset and answers the phone and tells the realtor that that is not going to happen.
00:45:27
Speaker
And to relieve some of her stress, Tucci goes on a shopping spree. Tucci then goes to Doe's building to see her and show her all the stuff that she's bought and finds that she doesn't live in that building that she says she does. I mean, she technically does. She technically does. But the man outside the building says to go find the superintendent's office on the side.
00:45:55
Speaker
And when she knocks on the door, she finds Doe and Doe is immediately like embarrassed and being like, you know, why are you here? um And Chanel thinks that she hit her family because she's mixed, which is... which like Gabriella is makes why why would she be hiding that? Right. Why would she be like, it doesn't matter. She like knows you guys. Um, but Doe then explains that she had a family because she's a foster kid. Like that's her foster mom. And all the other kids in that building are also foster foster kids. And they live in such poor conditions. Um,
00:46:41
Speaker
Hmm. So this random scene with Dorinda crying about being a ah foster child and poor must have been very revolutionary back in the day. It just seems weird now. I'm just sitting here like I have many questions, many, many, many questions. First off, right um who approved these people to be fostered so foster parents to like 12 children? Right. She says that there's 10 other kids in there. Yeah. That makes it 11 with dough. I'm just like, how do you have the space for all these kids? How are you feeding all of these kids? It's like, she, Dorinda's already crying about how they only have this apartment because the dad is a superintendent. superintendent and just like So if he wasn't the superintendent, where would y'all be? Where would you be?
00:47:39
Speaker
Just wondering. Like, I'm very confused, but you know what? It was 2003, we're just gonna let it go. Yeah. Like, we appreciate y'all with a big heart that want to take in foster kids, but y'all are gonna have good conditions for these kids because they're probably also coming from not great situations. so Yeah, just wondering. Think of the children. I mean, the children, but also I'm sure there's like, I mean, it's hard enough to adopt a kid. I'm sure people who foster kids are thoroughly jacked for sure. I hope. I mean, you also get paid for. That is true. Fostering children, but who knows? Who knows? So Doe says that she really wants to stay with the Cheetah girls because like that's for like one trending light.
00:48:34
Speaker
And Chanel says that there's nothing that can break them apart. Except for Galleria and her, I'm just kidding. Chanel admits that she came to check on her and show her some of the outfits that she bought for her and her mom. And there's one that she wants her tomorrow. Yeah, because she delicious. She delicious. Dothan tells Chanel about the ah offer from the gold medal crew and how the they would tour over the summer and how she needs that money. And like if the Cheetah girls aren't gonna make it then she needs to get on the bus with the with the gold medal crew. Galleria and Chuchio then having a sleepover and ah
00:49:28
Speaker
Dorothy tells them that night that she is going to let the girls do their rehearsals alone the next day so that she can give the girls their space and Galleria can like do what she wants, I guess. That's literally crazy. Absolutely not. So crazy. Absolutely not. No, these teenagers aren't going here by them themselves. No. right What supposed to say was, I'm going to go with you, but I'm not going to bump my head in too much. right i won't talk That should have been the conversation. I won't talk. It'll be all on your own. I won't say nothing. I'm here to supervise.
00:50:04
Speaker
So after that, Galleria shows Chanel a mock-up of what their album should look like. And when Chanel points out that Galleria's picture is a lot more bigger than everyone else's, she says it's because she makes the songs. So she deserves it. I don't know if that's how that works. Chanel then tries to tell Galleria that she is doing too much again by putting herself first and promoting herself first over the Cheetah girls. and then proceeds to tell her about Doe's situation, but didn't Doe tell her to take keep it a secret? Yeah, I was like, why are you airing out her tea like this? Right, and especially to Galleria, who likes to yap. Mm-hmm. Miscertified yapper, yap queen. Right. Mm-hmm. By tomorrow, the whole world's gonna know that Doe's a foster kid. Yeah.
00:50:54
Speaker
If they don't already. they've Right? She probably was texting behind her back. God, Galleria's put up her bat signal and was like, I got tea. I got tea on dough. She's a foster kid. Like the bat signal, except it's just a cup of tea in there. ah right Yes. Everyone immediately pulling out their phones like it's a gossip girl. yeah Where is the tea?
00:51:23
Speaker
So, um, Doe explains, uh, Chanel's like, explains Doe's situation and Galleria doesn't care. Not really. Does not care. She's like, but actually it's all good girl. We're about to get this check. It's fine. No, seriously. She's just like, Oh yeah, no, that's great. No, that's cool. Cause she won't be like that anymore. We're about to get paid yeah like so much. We're about to be so rich. So crazy. Um, at the meeting the next day, Jackal lets his marketing team talk to the girls about how they are going to be rebranded into, um, what was it? Shoot global get down, which by the way, get down horrible name, horrible name. It sounds very eighties and not in a good way. Also it's very long, very long global get down. Mm-hmm.
00:52:16
Speaker
Yeah, I don't know about that. He needs to fire that marketing team. They're really bad at it. Oh, oh yeah. Um, and how no one will be a cheetah girl by themselves. They won't be the cheetah girls. They'll be each an individual endangered animal. Yeah. Endangered kind of, but not really. I was like, first off. Because they pull out some masks that aren't. Yeah. I was like, first off, how did this idea even come up? Right. were they trying to play off the uh the cheetah angle the animal theme of cheetah right in which case how did we get to snow leopards and and pandas panda and a seal going to aqua because our name is aqua yeah crazy um also they would be mert wearing masks they would be wearing the mask of their animal and they somehow already had a demo tape done
00:53:11
Speaker
right right i was like didn't you just see them yesterday right like who who did you scrounge up to do this yeah um so he then explains how they will lip sync the music because they they'll have masks the gallery is like we can't sing with masks on he's like yeah you're gonna lip sync that's fine and when it comes to the music gallery is like yeah we already have a song and they perform girl power thought number three bop number three. Jackal is all like, yeah, no, that's great. And then shows them the music that they will actually be doing. And it's... It's giving... like, yo gabagaba. Giving kids bop. It's giving kids bop, but worse? Somehow worse, yeah, actually. It's like they're trying to aim towards, like, five-year-olds. Children, yes.
00:54:10
Speaker
Which, no. Not like middle school to high school. Yeah, which should be their audience. Which should be their audience, but like little kids. It sounded like a like one of those educational, here's how to count to three kind of song.
00:54:31
Speaker
um And Galleria immediately says no to the image and the music that they're trying to push on them. We go all around the world. I mean, it is repetitive, so... It's a BBS song. You know what? It's just a BBS song.
00:54:56
Speaker
wow the way that that like because you singing it i was like i could totally see a um like a ah leader doing like movements it's very much giving chowder the chipmunk absolutely oh my god chowder the chip chowder the chipmunk was an icon though i could see this they never could reproduce it ever again i could see this in a chowder the chipmunk right but video yeah like right after the story and then there's like the break yeah We go all around the world. We go all around the world. We all don't know what BBS is looking at. it Please, because we are so accurate with this right now. Chowder is unfortunately retired though. yeah you'll yeah You'll never see him again. but He served so hard he had to retire. Yeah. and see them yeah
00:55:53
Speaker
Um, but yeah, Galleria immediately says no to everything and goes to walk out, but the other girls don't follow. So Tucci then calls for a private meeting and the other girls want time to consider it because sure it's different than what their current look is, but they at least want to think it over. Um, but Galleria wants to walk out and has now done a total 180 and wants to commit to doing the talent show now. Because she's like, wait, but like, what about the talent show? I'm like... Right! The one you turned down? Yeah, the one that you told her that we weren't gonna do. Right, and insulted drink about it. Like, yeah, there's no way we're getting back in there. No, they're not letting us on that stage. um ah But because Galleria has been all about herself lately, the other girls don't trust her. They're like, you're only looking out for yourself and we need to look out for the group.
00:56:46
Speaker
Uh, but then Galleria immediately lashes out and was like, yeah, that's fine. You can consider it because dough needs the money. yeah see never like a told but exactly yeah yeah And then she goes, and then she go use it. She'll throw it back at her face. Right. If I was dough, I would have immediately looked like to choose even like, I told you. He's like, after I swing on her, I'm swinging on you. I'm swinging on you. This this is immediately connecting with with the Galleria and then immediately coming for you. Exactly. It's one fluid motion.
00:57:24
Speaker
Um. Jackal isn't concerned that Galleria has left and says that they'll just find another girl to to fill out the spot. And the other girls are shocked. But they're like, I guess that's okay. We'll, we'll just need time to think about it.
Friendship Fallout after Miami Trip
00:57:38
Speaker
Yeah. They broke up with a group of girls after Miami trip. Tragic. try the The Miami trip made it out of the GC, but did the friendship make it out of Miami? No. no didn't Never does. Never does. which is so crazy. Like what happens in Miami? What's going on in Miami? I've never been so like, what are y'all doing? Right? Like, is it the air? Is it the humidity? Is it the time change? Is it the heat? because Like the heat does make me a little irritable. ah Yeah, but it doesn't make me want to cut off all of my friends. Are y'all going broke? Is that what it is? Is that it? Is it the heat and the idea that you're you have zero money? but Yeah.
00:58:21
Speaker
That's probably it. For those of you whose friend groups have collapsed from the weight of Miami. Tell us the story. What happened? Yeah, what happened?
00:58:33
Speaker
but Maybe we should go. Yeah, we should that's the ultimate friend test. We go to Miami. Apparently. Which is crazy because we've we've literally road tripped to LA twice. yeah as a group together and we've made it. We've made it a long day of walking through Disneyland, through the heat of Disneyland, through that one security guard that wouldn't let us take alcohol through yeah an area. And then yelled at me when I chugged it. Instead of throwing it away.
00:59:07
Speaker
He was like don't from that like, next time don't do that again. I was like, did you want me to throw this away? right i paid for it the way that man immediately was like no i was so mad for you by the way i was like you have to be kidding me right bro we should have like wrapped it in like um napkins and put it in the pizza box probably i'll do that next yeah we'll try that well we'll just buy buy it outside the park whatever as we walk back we were at that point guys we were delusional it it was like it was like day two we were done it was day two we had stayed at the park all day instead of going back to the hotel at one point to rest and yeah yeah long day
00:59:55
Speaker
As the girls leave Jackal's office, they then see a line of girls just like them waiting to see Jackal, probably to take their place at the end of it now. He had a backup plan. Oh, absolutely. He had B through Z covered.
01:00:12
Speaker
Galleria then gets home and cries to her mom about the whole situation and how the Cheetah girls hate her and it's the breakup. It's all her fault, by the way. Doh then tells her teacher that she is going to do the dancing tour. Aqua still can't get a cab because that's her like fatal flaw. Yeah, she can't catch a cab and she refuses to take the subway. She refuses to take the subway, exactly. There's some old people down there. which like yeah What does that even mean? Like who started that rumor? Who su did that to you?
01:00:51
Speaker
So B then C2G has come home and her mom has seen the damage that she did to her credit card. She maxed out her mother's credit card. Yeah. I don't know what that limit was, but she did it. It had to be a pretty high limit. They own an apartment in New York. How did she max it out? She only had like five bags. What does she buy? I don't know, man. She probably bought the most expensive things you could buy at that store. This is also her mom's fault, because why do you give a child a credit card and not and not be like, you can only spend this amount of money? Right. You didn't give her guidance. you You weren't there, first of all. No. So like this is on her end on you. It's on both of you. It's on both of you. Mostly on you, because she's a child.
01:01:51
Speaker
Juanita says that her card was declined and it's because it's been maxed out. And Tuji's immediately like, you've been ignoring me and spending all the time with, um, your Parisian boyfriend and not listening to me, which makes her sad. But then she makes a weird connection about how she's also grateful to have a mom because just do doesn't have a um who but the the whiplash of this conversation is is so hard. Um, And Juanita immediately goes in comfort turns like, no, no, no, it's fine. It's okay. Like, don't cry.
01:02:29
Speaker
ah And Chuchi finally tells her what's going on with the Cheetahs. We then see Galleria is complaining to her parents about all the work that she put into the Cheetahs.
Galleria's Growth and Lessons in Friendship
01:02:41
Speaker
um And they explained to her that what she was doing was she was speaking for other people. And what's good for her is not good for everybody else. She wasn't being considerate. And that, you know, we have to let others make their own decisions. And she has to learn that with her friends. Also, we learned that um Galleria's final straw was lip syncing. She was like, she she was like, we went in there and they wanted to change our name. They wanted us to wear masks. But when he wanted us to lip sync, I was done. And I was like, girl, everyone lip syncs.
01:03:20
Speaker
yeah Mariah Carey lip syncs, Beyonce lips, everyone lip syncs. It doesn't make you less talented. go People, artists, lip sync, they do have a monitor on stage with the lyrics. Every artist does. yeah They have the the whole backing track in their ear like, come on, guys. like It's fine. It's fine.
01:03:51
Speaker
Like, sure, they made the song, but they still need to... Everyone has brain parts, guys. Yeah, you can forget your lyrics. What happens? It's the thing that... Look at Kelly Clarkson. Yeah. She doesn't know any of her own songs. She never knows the lyrics to her song. It's fine. No. And we have proof everywhere, but does she still kill her songs? Absolutely. And is she stealing other people's songs? Absolutely.
01:04:20
Speaker
So even after all of that, Galleria still believes that she was right. yeah And to blow off some steam, she goes to the school, especially to the auditorium where at the tantra is being held, and starts to just play a song. When Derek shows up and is impressed with it because it's not the usual, I guess, pop stuff that they usually do, Galleria then tells him what happened with Jacqueline, the Cheetah Girls. um But Derek says that she's got talent to do it on her own if she needs to. And she's all like, hell yeah, I do. Which that was not the takeaway, Derek.
01:05:05
Speaker
yeah yeah he's He's a teenager, so.
01:05:10
Speaker
Galleria isn't out with her mom the day of the talent show and Dorothy suggests a movie night to make her feel better, but Galleria says that she's going to go to the talent show to support Drinka and the talent show. When Galleria passes the, um, I don't know, recording ah record store is a record store. Okay. She sees a poster for global get down. And she thinks that the girls went on without her. and And while she's looking at... Mind you, it's been like two days. It has been two days. It's been two days and there's already marketing up for Global we'll Get Down. You know what? They probably just had random people pose for the... They probably just had random people pose for it and then just use... It doesn't matter. They're all they're all wearing masks. And then just use the demo. Yeah. Yeah.
01:06:00
Speaker
Yeah. They're like, we just needed someone to sign. Yeah. No one's going to know who's under these masks. Right. It doesn't matter. These girls don't even have the need to sing. They just need to stand there. Right. They'll listen. So technically, we can use whoever we want on this demo.
01:06:17
Speaker
While she was looking at the poster though, Toto manages to get free and run away. He then falls into the construction zone. Yeah. Like a hole in the drawer. Yeah. Um, and get stuck as the talent shows. My favorite thing that happens in this entire movie is, um, Galleria runs up to these police officers who she just like spilled food over while chasing Toto. And she's like, my dog's in a hole. And then one of the, one of the police officers go, dog in a hole.
01:06:55
Speaker
I love how their response was so immediate. like They didn't even try to investigate. She's like, like, don't fill the hole. The guy that she had hit while she was running was like, we're going to be broke. We're going to be back up. Fogging a hole. Fogging a hole.
01:07:11
Speaker
And then you, you would think like backup would be like animal, like animal services or something. yeah No, they bring in fire department, more cops. I'm just like, what? You know what? They actually put in early pilot footage of 911. Absolutely. It was a crossover. It was an early crossover episode of 911. And, um, shoot, what's the other one called it the fireman one. that That is 911. Is that 911? Okay. let's do Because who does 911 collaborate with sometimes? I think you're thinking of station 19. Station 19 is what I'm thinking about. And that's in Seattle, though. That's in Seattle, but they also somehow collab with Grey's Anatomy. Grey's Anatomy is also in Seattle. I know, but like, it's weird how there's like so many crossovers. But anyway,
01:08:08
Speaker
Yes, it's it's it's some type of early pilot of 9-1-1 or a station 90 with crazy battery.

um Galleria then calls her parents for help and then gets the help of the police and the fire department. We then have a news crew there who is reporting about the incident of Toto stuck in a hole and Chuchi and her mom see it while they're at the salon and run out with their hair half done. Derek then performs at the talent and show. Come on, bop number four.

No, it was more like an apartment building. It did. It really did. And then Tucci and her mom show up with roles still in their hair. And the situation starts to escalate with Toto. And the girls immediately blame Galleria for getting Toto stuck in there. Yeah, do you actually think they would make this much of a ruckus over a dog? No, absolutely. Like they turned off the power for blocks for this dog. Right. Like I appreciate the concern. I appreciate the concern, but I don't think they would be doing all that. Yeah, I don't think I needed that.

So with Toto stuck, they do have to take the power out. And at when it cuts out at the talent show, and I guess when their backup generators go up, everyone sees the broadcast um with Galleria talking about her dog Toto. Drinka then shows up and Galleria apologizes for how she was acting, which she accepts, but she then tells her to watch her mouth, which very true. true Galleria and then the and the girls are told to call out for Toto, um but when they come together, they start to sing, Together We Can, and they are a... more kind And singing, they're able to get him out. Yes. After he has checked on, the girls are glad he is okay, but they all say that they only came for Toto, so they all start to leave.

Derek then shows up and says that the girls did come to support her, but Galleria's like, no, they didn't, they came to support my dog. And Derek then says she was right to walk away from Jackal, but is she okay walking away from her friends? Galleria then starts to sing Cheetah Sisters. Cheetah Sisters, part number of five. Let's go. And the others eventually join and Derek helps them out with his guitar. Mind you, they were still holding up traffic. Yes. It's been hours. It's been hours. Toto got stuck in that hole at about maybe like three or four o'clock in the afternoon. It is nighttime. It is nighttime now. Yeah, it's been at least three hours. The performance is then televised and Jack Gold sees that he is missed out on the girls. And when they're done, Galleria and Derek kiss

Because you didn't get the the record label either. Right? Why did you not go on tour? You can still be friends and go on tour. Um, the girls and their moms meet Doe's foster mom and they're very welcoming to her. The Cheetah girls. No, we will not. The girls then win the talent show. Which they weren't in the talent show. How did they win? They weren't in the talent show. they They were outside the talent show. And Galleria gets a call from Jacqueline.
