Hello friends, welcome back to this week's episode. And of course, my name is Tony Gonzalez. And it's been a while since I've actually introduced myself. I have been a first responder for almost 30 years. September 1st will be 30 years. And I'm getting very close to retirement, which is an exciting time as well.

So what I'm talking to to you about this week is relationships. And a lot of times we talk to first responders and we forget that there are other people that support them outside of law enforcement. And those are their relationships, whether it's a partner, husband, wife, children, um aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, all the people, all the things.

So we cannot forget them because they are our support system. Before we jump in, I want to remind you of mental health. It's important. It's as much ah about personal time as it is about your relationships. The stress of being a first responder can strain personal connections, but there are creative ways to foster intimacy and connection with loved ones while addressing stress. Let's look into some unconventional techniques together.

The first one I'm gonna talk about is nature therapy. It's no secret that spending time outdoors can do wonders for your mind. And I love being outside and I talk about this a lot, mindful walking, things like that. But did you know it can also strengthen your relationship?
