You know, physical activity isn't just about losing weight or achieving the perfect body shape. It plays a vital role in promoting overall health and wellness.

I want to share a few key benefits of moving your body. The first one is enhanced mood. When you move, your body releases endorphins, those wonderful feel-good hormones. This can help improve mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.

Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep. boosting your brain function function is the next one. And who doesn't love this one? The strengthened immune system. You know, in high stress jobs, this is obviously one of the, I think, most important ones to focus on. When you're active, you can boost your immune system helping your body fight off those illnesses and stress can, you know, compromise our immune system.

So now that we know the benefits, let's figure out ways to move your body. It's essential to choose activities that you enjoy. Here are a few options for you walking or jogging. This is the simplest way to get moving. And it's easy to integrate into your day. Consider walking meetings or jogging with a friend.

Or walking by that beautiful ocean that we live by, at least in my area. Yoga. The benefits of yoga extend beyond flexibility. It combines physical activity with mindfulness, reducing stress, improving and improving overall wellness. A lot of people say, oh, well, it's slower.

Focus on just the movements and being in the moment and just give it a chance. Have an open mind. Dancing, one of my favorites. Dance can be therapeutic and fun. Whether it's a dance class or just grooving to your favorite playlist at home, let your body express itself.

strength training, building muscle can improve metabolism and provide long-term health benefits. Start with body weight exercises at home or use resistance resistance bands or get out there and download some apps and start out there or just ask to test a class at any gym and see if you like it.

So so how do you how do we ensure that we make movement a regular part of our lives and master these activities? Well, I'm going to share a couple more ways and you choose what resonates with you or if you have your own, use those as well. Set realistic goals for yourself.

Start small. Instead of aiming for a daily workout, aim for 10 to 15 minutes of movement. Gradually increase as you get more comfortable. Schedule it. Treat your movement sessions like appointments. Block out time in your calendar to ensure you make it a priority.

And if you sign up for classes, one of the biggest motivators is not getting charged for missing those classes. You got to go, right? Find someone to work out with, an accountability partner. Having a workout buddy can keep you motivated, share your goals, and celebrate your achievements together.
