You to figure out that it's the Burj Dubai in Dubai, which is still under construction. Once you get there, find this fountain and sign up for one of two groups to ride the elevator up to the 124th floor.

Yeah. Via Bangkok. Yeah, Sam and Dan arrive at the airport we're like, we need tickets to the Persian Gulf. And the lady at the airport's like, I have never heard of that city. Like, you need to be a little bit more specific.

um And the teams, when they arrive, there's like a whiteboard with a slot that they write their name in. First team on the first elevator are Maria and Tiffany, Brian and Erica, Sam and Dan, and Megan and Shane. And then on the second second elevator will be Micah and Kanan, Lance and Carrie, Flight Time and Big Easy, and Gary and Matt.

Yes. So the first one leaves at 530 and the second one's at 545. five forty five So there's not much time in between. And this thing is still under construction and their elevator is like made out of wood. Like it doesn't look very... It doesn't look safe.

When they get up to the top, they get the clue that says make your way to the parking structure and find your marked cars and drive yourselves to the... Oh, I didn't write. I don't finish. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve.

And in this clue, there's a fast forward, but this is the only one in the entire race. So the fast forward is to fly to, no, not fly, find the Dubai autodrome and drive an F3 open wheel race car and complete a lap in 45 seconds or less.

So Megan and Shane are in this first elevator and they say they're going to go for it. And everybody else hears this and they don't even try. So Megan and Shane um go do that.

Should we just do the fast forward all yeah now? Okay. So, yeah, they arrive at the fast forward. Only one of the people have to um drive the race car. So, Shane is doing it and he does it in 40 seconds. So, he did it on the first try. And Megan is, like, so, like, nervous and emotional. And they kind of talk about how she has a hard time, like, letting go of control.

And Lance and Carrie are in the first elevator, right? No, they're in second elevator. But they cannot find the cars in the parking garage. And that's where their troubles start. Yeah.

Yeah. um This structure, the Burj Dupes. dubai is actually the burj khalifa i was gonna say i've heard the burj khalifa i know that word but i'll tell you about dubai right now yeah how is this the first time no we were in uae in season three this is our second time oh yeah okay so it's been a minute yeah um the burj khalifa which was known as the Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration is a skyscraper in Dubai with total height of 2,722 feet or just over half a mile.

And the roof height excluding the antenna but including a spire of 2,717 feet. The world's tallest structure, it also held the record of the tallest building in the world since it's topping out in 2009, surpassing the Taipei 101, which was the holder of that status since 2004.

So, one of the teammates must choose a traditional bag and search the desert for water stores in urns that are buried in the sand, but not all of them contain water. When they find enough water in an urn to fill their bag, they must return it to them and get their next clue.

Brian does the roadblock and then Tiffany and then Dan. um They're not really quite sure what they're supposed to be doing. They're just kind of like walking around. They don't know what they're supposed to be looking for. they're they're just kind of like walking around aimlessly until Tiffany sees an urn and sees what they look like.

But that one that they find first is empty. So then that confuses them even more. Because I don't think the instructions tell them that some of them will not have water them. Yeah. And they have like a ladle. So they have to stick it down on the ground and fill up their bag.

It's like a water skin type thing. Yeah. um At this point. Oh, so then Big Easy and then Matt do the roadblock. They're kind of all doing it at the same time except for.

Lance and Carrie are still driving in the city and Micah and Kanan are lost. So um back at the roadblock, Brian does find an urn and he fills his water thing up the whole way and he tells Tiffany and Dan where to look, where to see it on his way out because he's trying to make kind of like alliances and get on people's good side.

And that clue says, make your way back to the city and find Ski Dubai, which is an indoor ski resort covering over four football fields. And to get your next clue.

So Tiffany and Dan are working together. They've been working together since the beginning the race, pretty much. Yeah. These two teams. A little bit of an alliance. And Dan's, the handle on his ladle breaks off.

So he can't like reach down and scoop anything up without a ladle. So Tiffany shares hers with him. Mm-hmm. They finish the roadblock next. And Matt's right behind them.

But as they're leaving the parking lot of this roadblock, Maria, she drives like forward over a post or something yeah like a pole and breaks her radiator gets a hole in the radiator which is really bad so sam and fluid like a lot sam and dan get out to see if they can help or anything like that and the girls are like oh you can go you can go and dan says well if i didn't have your ladle i'd still be out here so we'll just wait till your car comes and phil says like if a car problem you know something happens they will get a new car but not a time credit yeah

So they get a tart car pretty quickly. um In the meantime, Big Easy finishes and Kanan finishes the roadblock as well. So... And when Brian and Erica leave the wrote roadblock, Micah and Kanan are coming in and they're they're kind of lost, but Brian gives them directions again.

And Erica was like, I think he's too nice. i probably wouldn't have helped out much. He's nicer than I... Yeah. but And so Kanan and Lance, Lance and Carrie arrived. So Kanan and Lance are the last ones to do the roadblock.

And Kanan. This is when Carrie says we got to park the car in the mocked area. Yeah. Yeah. Her Boston accent is very thick. We'll do a repeat of Chris and Alex from season two. When I attempted the Boston accent. It was so good. Yeah. It was and unexpected. Yeah.

Yeah, so Lance is doing the roadblock. So him and Kanan are out there at the same time. But Kanan finishes first. So Lance is the last one. And he's really struggling and getting, like, frustrated. But also not stopping or giving up.

But the team, the first team to this ski place are Matt and Gary. And that's a detour here. And the choices are build a snowman or find a snowman. So just as a side note, it's 28 degrees inside the building and it's 120 degrees outside the building. So they are like so hot outside and they're like really happy to be in the snow for a little bit.

If the snowman is to the attendant's satisfaction, she'll give the team their next clue. And then find a snowman. Teams must ride the ski lift to the top of the artificial mountain.

At the top, they must sled down to the bottom, then dig through piles of snow for a toy snowman buried within. Once they have found the toy snowman, they give it to the person in the polar bear suit and exchange it for the next clue.

And the snowman is not very big. It's just like a couple inches. So it's pretty small. And it's a big pile of snow. it's white. Yeah. Matt and Gary choose find a snowman, which i I don't know. What would we have chosen?

And Lance came into this saying like, we are going to be the best team that's ever run this race and we are awesome. And um they did hope that it might be a non-elimination, but they're like in surprisingly good spirits.
