Daily Routines and Relaxation

00:00:28
Speaker
e oh What are you doing? here We made it to the end of this week. Amen. Oh my god.
00:00:39
Speaker
God. I'm so tired. Yeah, me too. And I was off yesterday and today. oh my god. i um...
00:00:51
Speaker
I had the best nap, though, this afternoon. Tell me about it. in great. When I was going home from my chiropractor appointment, I swung through McDonald's, grabbed me some so McDonald's like late late dinner slash or late, late lunch slash early dinner, and came home, put on some YouTube. i watch I've been watching a lot of like the Binging with Babish channel lately. Aw.
00:01:20
Speaker
and had my McD's and then laid down and fell asleep with YouTube playing.
00:01:31
Speaker
And it was so relaxing and I snored because I woke myself up a couple times. But it was wonderful. I was like, yes, I needed this. Mm-hmm.
00:01:45
Speaker
yay yeah it was so good i actually got to take a nap a couple times today wow i know while you were driving i'm yawning between my bed yeah well this morning because like you know on fridays i'm a sub so i have to like Just whatever route they put me on is what I'm going to have to do. So ah yeah for obvious reasons. And so this morning I i got there, you know, like my usual 5, 10 in the morning and ah the route didn't start till 6.50.
00:02:26
Speaker
So, um I'm sorry. a i I'm not cutting any of these yawns out. I won't be able to, but yeah I also don't want to. So, yeah, I ah recently bought myself one of those neck pillow things. It's like a U-shaped deal.
00:02:46
Speaker
Yeah. So that actually helps a lot. Yes. It was like, it was like a dollar, dollar tree. Helps you to sleep. Yeah, in my car because in the car. OK, yeah. If I tilt my my seat back, the way my headrest hits the top of my head pushes my head forward weird. And it just doesn't feel it's not comfortable. So like the pillow wraps around just enough where it's like I have a little cushion behind my neck and then my head doesn't like what what tends to happen when I'm sleeping in my car semi reclined is my head will fall to the side.
00:03:24
Speaker
A lot of times. And then that will either make me wake up with a sore neck or something. or I won't sleep good at all. Because it's like. Right. Whatever. Disruptive for my sleep. So yeah. This pillow has been helping. But um.
00:03:40
Speaker
Good. My bad. Oh no. My bad. It's like we're yawn ping ponging. Oh no. no. So I'm trying to remember. If I got.
00:03:53
Speaker
Maybe close to an hour this morning. Uh-huh. I think. Nice. And then on my lunchy air, like lunchy sort of time break great thing. Yeah. um i took another nap, but I do not remember what time.
00:04:15
Speaker
Doesn't matter. i know. You got to take Or how long, should That's all that matters. Mm-hmm.

Writing Progress and Patreon Content

00:04:20
Speaker
yeah yeah my my nap was probably only like 30 45 minutes but it was needed yeah and it was one where i was like fully aware like it i i could tell it was happening yeah and i was just like i'm just gonna surrender to this i'm not gonna fight it it's gonna let it happen i get it so glad i did oh what a luxury yes oh yeah yep day two of uh staycation in the books
00:05:01
Speaker
and i've gotten a lot of writing done thank god wo so proud of myself that's exciting yeah yeah it's turning out good And if you want to know what I'm writing, go listen to our Patreon bonus episodes from like, what, fucking February or March? Is when I talked about it, I think.
00:05:22
Speaker
Yeah. I'm not talking about it here. You have to go subscribe.
00:05:28
Speaker
It's worth it, I promise. Oh my god. But yeah, so we're here. We're queer. Get used to We're not wearing brassieres. You say the exact same thing and I say it's to the exact same thing. We're not wearing brassieres.
00:05:44
Speaker
and no and my god. You didn't get to see the nips, but hey. I'm wearing a tube cup. oh goodness welcome to soul pod the podcast where my mother flashes me on a weekly basis no i do not no i do not
00:06:04
Speaker
maybe so semi-monthly.
00:06:08
Speaker
and Bi-monthly. every Every couple of months I might. my god. Yep. e This is uh this is just a ah ah fact about us. It's okay. Oh my god.
00:06:27
Speaker
o It's okay. I have slashed you too. So it's all good. yep oh my bra was bugging me so bad earlier what the fuck what like why by my left shoulder blade something kept the itching me so bad from like my bra like just i kept having to like the strap i kept doing that jerking my shoulder backwards thing to try and itch it Yeah. Like itching against the bra strap. Oh my god. I know exactly what you mean. It sucked. And I fucking could not wait to get that thing off when I got home.
00:07:06
Speaker
Yeah. I, uh... Yeah, I'm loving this tube top. It's, uh... I mean, all of my regular bras have straps, so I can't really wear them with a tube top. The bandos don't really change anything about the shape of my tits. So...
00:07:25
Speaker
I just don't even it it's like it's tight enough this this tube top it's tight enough that I feel okay going without a bra slash bandeau okay yeah and everybody just gets a whole lot of nip but once again facts about me facts about my clothes What the fuck are we talking about today? i don't know.
00:07:53
Speaker
you do know, bitch. You made me decide on the topic. I did. yeah Music in witchcraft.

Music and Witchcraft Practices

00:08:02
Speaker
you forgotten Oh, yeah. Okay, good. No, I didn't forget.
00:08:07
Speaker
you hey You could have, for all I know. Yeah, I know. But yeah, music in witchcraft and...
00:08:19
Speaker
It's like been a while since we've talked about anything witchy. It feels like anything specifically witchy and not just like, you know, esoteric or spiritual. Right.
00:08:37
Speaker
Yeah. So hooray. i think you're going to do most of the talking tonight. oh God. I hope not. um Yeah, no, like, no, I mean, I have a fair amount to say, I suppose, because, like, here's the thing is I am me and witchcraft. Well, I i led with the wrong thing there. was gonna say music is has always been like an inherent piece of my life. And I mean, we've done two episodes now of talking about like, you know, playlists that we've come up with to send to each other. hmm.
00:09:16
Speaker
So it's like clear both of us have like a very strong attachment ah to music that goes beyond anything like explainable with words. Yeah.
00:09:26
Speaker
um But like to that end, like it only makes sense because of that kind of a like relationship to music. It makes sense to...
00:09:39
Speaker
incorporate it into our spiritual practices yes um and that's not me saying like let's do that now because it's already something i've been doing yeah for like fucking years now yes and i have the exact opposite experience what do you mean i have not used music in my craft at all because i hardly do any craft to begin with And like, I literally have never like put music to it ever.
00:10:14
Speaker
Yeah, well, that's the thing, is that, like, the whole basis of my, like, the way that I use witchcraft in my practice, or, Jesus fuck, the way that I use music in my practice ah is specifically because we've stated this multiple times throughout many different episodes, like,
00:10:40
Speaker
a huge part of like manifestation and also just generally like energy raising energy working in general is like achieving ah particular feeling yes and there is no easier way to accomplish that than with music that's a good point Yeah, like I literally have playlists in my like Apple Music like account curated or currently being curated to ah evoke certain vibes. Mm hmm.
00:11:15
Speaker
Based on like what sorts of energies I want to be feeling. um And like I think I've taught. I can't remember if I've talked about this. I know I've talked about it to you and I've talked about it to friends before.
00:11:34
Speaker
But like even back when I was. shopping for my condo you know looking for a place to buy and live in um i used a playlist that's to this day still one of my biggest like spirituality slash witchcraft uh intentioned playlists uh give me the feeling that i want to have when i'm at home mm-hmm
00:12:06
Speaker
And it fucking worked. me It fucking worked. I do remember you talking about that. yeah It's called Homestead Vibes. Yay!
00:12:17
Speaker
admittedly i was trying to manifest like more than a condo like if i you know because homestead evokes a specific image in my mind of like property with land and like yeah maybe some animals yeah like a garden um and you know i would love that maybe hopefully someday but uh
00:12:45
Speaker
You know, yeah you don't have to have exactly that to still feel comfy and at home. For sure. And I have absolutely curated that feeling in this in this condo. And I could feel it even before, like fully moving in and settling in Like I could feel it very strongly. Like this is home.
00:13:09
Speaker
This is my home. Yeah. So, like, and and it wasn't necessarily that I was, like, you know doing so specific spell work while listening to the Homestead playlist, but, like, I was just listening to it throughout my daily life, you know, in the car or, like, especially, like, while I was, like, looking through listings or, like, driving to a, you like like, showing appointment. Like, I was just, you know, incorporating it into my life because ultimately, like,
00:13:41
Speaker
I think that the line between witchcraft and like living for me at least is a lot more of a gray area. It's a lot more blurred than i sometimes remember that it is because I often think like i don't do enough spell work, but then I think or have to remember to myself like,
00:14:06
Speaker
No, like, you do a lot of spell work. It just doesn't all happen, like, sitting in front of your altar. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Like, with a candle and some herbs, you know? Yeah. um And a lot of it is just, like, trying to...
00:14:23
Speaker
you know evoke the feeling that I want to get more of. Right. Whether that's the home comfy vibes or the feeling powerful badass vibes or the like you know fuck bitches get money vibes.
00:14:41
Speaker
Oh god. You know. ah Like you do. um As it you do. As you do. as one does. Fuck or even just like the it's a chill like warm summer day and i'm just vibing vibes you know like wanting to evoke more of that because fuck yeah who doesn't want more of that right i mean we did a whole episode about it last summer yeah i mean i definitely have

Playlists for Emotional Regulation and Spiritual Practice

00:15:11
Speaker
playlists that are you know themed but like yeah they're not necessarily built for like
00:15:19
Speaker
intention things like but if I want to feel nostalgic I have like a childhood nostalgia like playlist I have a kick-ass women playlist hell yeah um you have the one that just makes you happy right yeah feel good music the feel good music on the Thanksgiving road trip last year ah i remember that Yeah, so I mean, definitely if I want to feel certain ways, I've got that. But i I've never thought of that in terms of like it helping me to you know, in intentionally invoke a certain thing in my life. Just just to have like, just whatever mood i mood I'm in or mood I feel like like I need to be in I'll listen to that. I get it.
00:16:14
Speaker
Yeah. And like, I mean, now you can start thinking about it in terms of like intention and potentially manifestation. Yeah. But like, you know, it's like I said, it's not always a hard line.
00:16:28
Speaker
and you might find there's just like a bit of a blur, like a bit of a laying, not layover, an overlay. Overlap. Overlap. Yeah. um Like I have, I have a lot of playlists that also, you know, call back to different yeah like eras of my life.
00:16:47
Speaker
um But I also have like an abundance playlist. I have, i have a playlist curated to my rising sign. Yeah. it's mostly just music that I would like to punch a punching bag to um yeah what is that what are some of those songs that are on that one it's called Aries Rising of course Break Stuff Break Stuff love it love at it up and you remember the way yes
00:17:19
Speaker
Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace, Blue Blood Blues by The Dead Weather, Sweet Things, The Pretty Reckless, Killing in the Name, Rage Against the Machine.
00:17:30
Speaker
ah This is Radio Clash by The Clash. a Classic. A Few Songs by Gojira. What else we got here?
00:17:42
Speaker
o Misery Business by Paramore. Love that shit. A Lot More by a Pretty Reckless. oop Freak on a Leash. By Korn, a classic. Some by In This Moment. If you don't know In This Moment and you like metal music, go listen to them.
00:18:00
Speaker
um And A, B, C, D, E, F, you Never heard that one. Parentheses, Angrier. Okay. clickck It was a song that got really popular a few years ago. Oh, and Pet by A Perfect Circle.
00:18:18
Speaker
That's great. I love that song. Huh. don't know if I know that one. who It's good. Hey, you like did you finally listen to Three Libras by A Perfect Circle? thus Yeah, forever ago. Forever was the night we talked about it.
00:18:36
Speaker
I just love that song so much, dude. Yeah. um What kind of songs would be on a playlist for Cancer Rising? Let's wonder about this sad music i feel like some of the songs i have on my cabin core playlist would uh would fit pretty well on that like some stuff by hozier um brand new world noah gunderson um well don't say names and titles because i don't know them but like i'm just talking about types of music Well, like that's what I mean. like Cabin core evokes like um acoustic guitar kind of sound. you know Something that's like chiller and a little more like moody, maybe.
00:19:27
Speaker
um a little more nature-focused, in touch with emotions. you know um that That's what I mean, and that's why I thought of this playlist that I already have.
00:19:39
Speaker
yeah, like... but yeah like A lot. I think Hozier belongs on a Cancer Rising playlist. Okay. And Lord Huron perhaps as well. Never heard of him.
00:19:54
Speaker
Well, you will. um You will and that is a threat. um Just kidding. He's great. Yeah. What else though? i'm trying to think.
00:20:09
Speaker
Like, I mean... What do you think? I don't know. I was just thinking sad weepy songs.
00:20:21
Speaker
Crying in my milk. Crying in my s cereal. Crying in my milky cereal songs.
00:20:40
Speaker
Weeping in my Cheerios.
00:20:45
Speaker
What a fucking like opposite juxtaposition. Cheerios and weeping. no
00:20:58
Speaker
i get it though i've never cried into a bowl of cereal in my life i just thought that it was funny visual you have never and you're a pisces moon cancer i've never cried into a bowl of cereal i've probably cried into a lot of other things but A bowl of cereal is not one.
00:21:22
Speaker
That's a very specific thing to be sure about. I'm
00:21:28
Speaker
in pretty sure I've cried in the shower before. it's nice to cry in the shower you should just like stick your face under the water and rinse it off yeah well also i like well if you don't take a super hot shower it feels nice to put your face in the cool uh under the cool water ah okay yeah death cab for cutie is another good one i love death cab for cutie they got a new song
00:22:01
Speaker
Oh, really? Yeah, I just heard it. um Also, Bon Iver. I know that name, but I don't know if I'm familiar with their songs. it's a It's just a dude. One dude, but he gave himself a you know name because he's a hipster. ok um Maybe Lana Del Rey also belongs on a Cancer Rising playlist.
00:22:23
Speaker
I need you to like curate. of Are you just reading off your own list? i will I opened another playlist of mine called Sleepy Morning. Okay.
00:22:36
Speaker
feel like I can find some good ones in here. Screenshot them and write them down for me or something. not going to remember this shit. Sure. Okay.
00:22:48
Speaker
Oh my god. I'm yawning. um Yeah. so I hope that you do actually make a Cancer Rising playlist. I will. With your help. i will givebb it I will give it my all.
00:23:02
Speaker
ah so tell me in the other ways that you use music in witchcraft. Well, I was thinking back to motherfucking six years ago during quarantine, which holy shit, six years ago. What the fuck?
00:23:25
Speaker
And i was thinking of when... So at the time, i was living in shall we say, a haunted house. And I was... i was I mean, it was there were certain noises that i knew were ghosts, but I was used to them because i knew they were the familiar ghosts. They were the ghosts that should be there. Tell me what kind of noises you were hearing, first of all, because I don't know if I remember...
00:23:55
Speaker
this stuff oh like fucking creaking footsteps down the stairs okay when i knew i was alone okay like because the cats were never heavy enough to creak any of the stairs and they always creaked in the particular sequence on certain stairs you know when you're going up or down yeah i remember multiple times where i'd still be in bed and i would hear creaking on the stairs in the morning And, you know, like, not be, you know, it'd be a little bit of an ambiguous time of the morning where maybe my ex is still here.
00:24:35
Speaker
You know, maybe he's already left for work. So I remember at least a few times texting him being like, I sure hope that's you on the stairs. And he would be like, nope, I'm in the car on the way to work. Oh, my God.
00:24:48
Speaker
um and i'm also just generally like feeling presences but like again not in a threatened way not in like a way like these are malignant but more so like they've been here long before me they'll be here long after me yeah i was just gonna say like i hope that when you heard those sounds and your ex like said he was not home That you weren't like overly freaked out. No, I was used to them. i like i I would say like, I hope mostly as like a joke, you know, because we, we just sort of like joked to each other about the fact that there were ghosts in the house. So he heard that stuff too?
00:25:30
Speaker
Oh yeah. Okay. Oh yeah. um I remember one time, I think it was the time that I came to, you know, stay with you for like 10 days and, before covid in 2019 uh and i was so that was like one of the longest times i was ever like away and i remember he texted me and was just like the ghosts miss you ah you know not him because he would never miss you a ghost miss me the cat misses me but not my boyfriend yeah but that's why he's the ex that and a million other reasons but anyway uh like and point being that it was just sort of a joke i mean like it was real but like what are you doing blowing away a moth
00:26:23
Speaker
oh It was trying to fly at my face. And so I went. faith Sorry. I hope the mic didn't pick up the blowing sound too much. I apologize. I heard it. My bad. It's okay.
00:26:35
Speaker
So like it was, you know, a joke, but also like acknowledged as being real that there were ghosts in the house. But again, like I said, there were familiar ghosts. And then there were the occasions when we would feel or hear things that were unfamiliar. Yeah.
00:26:52
Speaker
And there was one night during quarantine, it was like a you know, maybe late March or April-ish of quarantine times. So early in quarantine, when I heard intermittent, like, knocking on the walls downstairs.
00:27:11
Speaker
Eeeeh! Eeeeh! Eeeeh!
00:27:14
Speaker
I don't like it! I got chills. I don't like it! I swear, bitch, I have told you about this. know, but I just block things out like this.
00:27:29
Speaker
My brain can't handle it. This is the thing, dude, is i well I'm a witch, and I was a witch, and I have been a witch, and I was like, well, I am equipped for the job.
00:27:44
Speaker
Yeah. And oh it was like, it was, yeah again, it wasn't like I felt like particularly super threatened, but I was like, you were unfamiliar and I don't think you're supposed to be here. And so...
00:28:00
Speaker
that was like late in the late in the evening went to sleep woke up the next morning ex had gone to work and was technically working from home but i was also like fucking not working while working from home and i got up and did whatever i wanted to do because it was a very very very slow company that i was working for right uh
00:28:23
Speaker
But I got up and I got my soapstone, ah like, fire safe bowl with my ah bundle of sage.
00:28:35
Speaker
And I blasted Kendrick Lamar's song DNA. As I walked through the house, saging the entire, like, every single room, every single corner of every room. Saged the whole fucking house with the windows open.
00:28:52
Speaker
blasting Kendrick Lamar over the speakers. So tell me the the significance of that song. It is a song that makes me feel gangster. It makes me feel like I run this place and i I rule you. Got it. I just don't know the song. So that helps me, you know, get an idea. Well, I'll have you listen to it for sure.
00:29:18
Speaker
But anybody who's listening, hopefully you know the song. If not, go listen to it. It's pretty badass. um Anything by Kendrick Lamar. Let's be real. He's the best. Yeah.
00:29:31
Speaker
But yeah, so like, that was a very good song to, you know, do that sort of energy clearing, you know, work ah to, you know, sweet. So, yeah, things like that, but also like just in general. Whenever I'm doing any spell work, whenever I'm doing, like, energy raising, like, when I do, like, the, like, dancing through my apartment that i like, feel weird about sometimes still.

Dance and Music in Energy Work

00:30:00
Speaker
Like, even though I shouldn't. um But I put on, like, you know, Heilung and, like...
00:30:06
Speaker
dance topless in my apartment love it feel fucking powerful you know or when I'm like summoning Odin to do a spell with me you know you know you just like you pick a song or a playlist or an album or what have you that matches the mood okay and uh and it gets you into that energetic space like it puts your body's vibration on that wavelength you know it's easy it's easy as fuck it's actually probably the easiest thing you could do in your witchcraft practice to like strengthen it so obviously i just have not ever had the occasion to do that
00:30:54
Speaker
Or thought of it while doing you will. Yeah, I'm going to start. Well, I mean, you will specifically because you're going to have so much free time soon. Oh, my God. Yeah.
00:31:06
Speaker
But let me tell you what. Tell me what. Tuesday, the day that I had a really bad day oh yeah work because of it because of a certain co-worker. um And I was stressed out and upset the whole day. yeah When I came home, I laid on the bed and I had our device that you can talk to and tell it, tell you know, tell it what to do. kind That thing, because I don't like saying its name. oh yeah it's ah It's a female that starts with an a yeah um I said to play ah some Enya.
00:31:44
Speaker
Oh, like a playlist of Enya. And they were like, okay, we'll play Enya in similar songs or whatever, similar playlists. Yeah. And so it started out with a couple Enya and then it went into a whole bunch of other shit that wasn't Enya.
00:31:58
Speaker
But it helped me like it was very chill and it was very like relaxing and calming to my little

Music for Relaxation and Creativity

00:32:05
Speaker
spirit. Yeah. then God, if there was anything that belonged on a Cancer Rising playlist, it's Enya. Enya!
00:32:12
Speaker
Hell Cancer Rising Pisces moon, bitch. Yeah, but like talking about like regulating your emotions or regulating your nervous system. Sorry. Yeah. um I needed that that night pretty bad. And it helped. him it made it It made a pretty significant difference. Yeah.
00:32:32
Speaker
yeah of course absolutely that makes total sense so that wasn't a witchcrafty thing but it was just well it's all mental health thing yeah i mean like that's part of one of part of the like stuff that we talk about here is like the ways that spirituality and mental health mental health like hold hands yep and they knew that absolutely counts in my book yeah bitch when i think of anya though i think of um the girl with the dragon tattoo the american movie with daniel craig and rooney mara why why there's ah like one of the climactic scenes toward the end of the movie uh they're playing is one of somebody is playing and yeah in the background okay
00:33:27
Speaker
I don't remember the name of the song, but every time I hear it or every time I think of Enya, I think of that scene. ah Alrighty. And it's not a, it's not a calm scene. Yeah. I, I know I watched that movie.
00:33:42
Speaker
Um, I don't remember a whole lot, but I, maybe I'll just have to watch it again. Bitch. I don't know. I don't listen to me. Listen to me. yeah I don't know when you're coming out here again.
00:33:54
Speaker
But whenever you do, we're going to watch a movie that I want to watch because you never want to watch movies that I want you to watch. And we're going to watch the. game There's at least two movies that I have wanted you to see for a very long time. And I know you have not seen them yet. So, okay.
00:34:15
Speaker
I have literally thought about texting Jim and telling him to make you watch these movies. You may do that. Go ahead.
00:34:25
Speaker
We'll see if he does it. Because one of them, I'm sure he would. Okay. i'm i'm like I'm like 99% sure that he would be like, oh yeah, she has to see that movie. Okay.
00:34:37
Speaker
Well, this is me telling you to do that. Go ahead. All right.
00:34:42
Speaker
Oh my God. Yes. But we will also watch The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Okay. Does that mean I can't watch it on my own before I come out there? Because I have no idea the next time I'm coming out there.
00:34:56
Speaker
Well, in all likelihood, you're not going to think of it or or remember to or have time to before you were like, oh, I've got a plan to come out there.
00:35:07
Speaker
You know? Well, don't know. We'll see. Yeah. Oh my god. It doesn't matter. Back to the the topic at hand.
00:35:17
Speaker
and yeah And yeah. No, like music. And music in general. Yeah, i I mean, like, this is the thing. Like, I don't want to get too detailed about some of the other stuff that I've done because, you know... It's personal. It's it's personal and also, like, not that I think that it would take away from the power of the spell work, but, like...
00:35:39
Speaker
you know It definitely it has like a mental impact on me, which I think in turn impacts the spell work. So... But yeah, like it's that same kind of vibe. You like pick a song, you pick a playlist or you know, just generally a vibe and you put it on while you're doing whatever work you're doing. Whether it's, you know, energy clearing, whether it is Reiki, whether it is divination, whether it is like crafting a spell like a jar, you know, or a candle spell or whatever. like
00:36:17
Speaker
I mean, I've done all of the above. oh Yeah. So do you remember last year? and this is only a tiny, a little bit off topic. um In June, when we had our gathering.
00:36:31
Speaker
Yes. um We like some people got to craft some bees. Oh, yeah. And we didn't because we were driving. right I still have like two or three like blank beesoms that I was given to take home. I have some too and they're like hanging throughout the house because Jim found them and decided they were decoration. I need to decorate my beesoms.
00:36:57
Speaker
And I'm like, maybe I should pick some kind of music to do while Like play while I'm doing that. You absolutely should. Please do. Yes. Also, you said decorate my beesoms and I was like, decorate your bosoms. I'm not decorating my bosoms, but I have a picture of somebody who decorated their bosoms.
00:37:17
Speaker
It was in New Orleans in
00:37:23
Speaker
fuck yeah you want to see it ah Yeah, but show me later. I will. I'm just going to look for it and send it to you. Okay, good.
00:37:36
Speaker
But yeah, you absolutely should. I was going to say too, like, I mean, anything is like witchy and spiritual, it is creative pursuits. Yeah.
00:37:47
Speaker
And I definitely have playlists in here that evoke certain like moods of like projects that I'm working on and it's not that I necessarily sit and like listen to them while I'm working on the projects because I primarily those projects are writing projects and when I'm writing I really can't listen to music right um so but it's more so like I listen to them when I'm like in the mood for some inspiration or just like generally thinking you know brainstorming
00:38:26
Speaker
Or, you know, just sort of like, even if I don't actively listen to the playlists a whole lot, like to have them there and have the option and also just sort of when I come across a song and be like, oh, that belongs in that playlist. And then I just add it, you know, it it helps me organize my thoughts and inspiration around certain projects a little better in my head.
00:38:52
Speaker
And that is very witchcraft. Hell yeah. It is decided. i just decided that is witchcraft. And that is witchcraft for you too. yeah While you paint your bosoms. Oh my god. Stop. No, never.
00:39:13
Speaker
Have you ever thought about ah getting your tat your areolas tattooed to be a shape? No. Like a heart or a star? no No. Why would I? Why would I ever think of that? It's just a fun thought to have.
00:39:30
Speaker
I would assume that would hurt really bad. Oh, for sure. But then it would be pretty fucking sick. ah I'm happy with my areolas the way they are. You ever see the porn star that has spider webs tattooed over her boobs?
00:39:47
Speaker
I don't think so. I can't remember her name, but I've seen her and I think that those tattoos are fucking dope. Okay. Yeah.
00:39:59
Speaker
Maybe I'll have to look that up later.
00:40:07
Speaker
I'm glad you think that's funny.
00:40:13
Speaker
I'll tell you if I remember her name. Okay.
00:40:18
Speaker
But yeah, I mean, I love like tattoos in general. So alt porn stars are pretty attractive to me. Oh my goodness. Filed under unsurprising things about Molly's.
00:40:32
Speaker
And remember that this is not behind a paywall. I know. I'm aware. But everybody is everybody who listens to us is aware of what a fucking like horny bitch I am.
00:40:45
Speaker
Oh my goodness.
00:40:49
Speaker
Oh my god. I'm hopeless. In a good way. Yeah, I'm telling you to look at the picture that I sent you. Okay, I'm looking.
00:41:01
Speaker
Ooh. The decorated bosoms. so Very nice. Airbrush. Yeah. We were driving down a road and I just like, I guess, you know, was like a lot of traffic. So we were kind of sitting and I looked over and I saw her and I put down my window and I yelled, I said, you're beautiful. And she got that big smile on her face. So cute.
00:41:26
Speaker
like
00:41:29
Speaker
she She's very beautiful. She actually looks like a friend of mine a little bit. She looks like her. Yeah, I was going to say she looks familiar, but not like in a way of like, I know that I've met her before, but in a way of like, she looks like a soul sister kind of person. you know Yeah, she does look like a a girl that I went to college with um who I'm still in touch with now. And yeah, there's similar facial features. Yeah.
00:41:59
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. Well, that's fun Mardi Gras is great. Yeah. I want to go back there one day. That was the really cold Mardi Gras. Yeah.
00:42:09
Speaker
It was awful. I remember it was and you told me about it you told me that you were pregnant and therefore could not actually drink I could not drink or party at all because we were already planning this before I found out I was pregnant and then I was like well I guess we're gonna just not go just because I'm pregnant yeah right so just like I'll just go make make the most of it good i'm glad you did yeah you didn't get to drink it was great That's good. i'm glad We didn't go to like the main Mardi Gras parade, but there's like, i guess maybe at least, I mean, i didn at least one other one that's not as big, just in like outlying areas from around march around New Orleans.
00:42:55
Speaker
So that's one of the ones that we went to was outside of like actual New Orleans. yeah because i which i'm sure was equally like fun it was pretty yeah i mean considering that i've never been to one it seemed pretty significantly good you know yeah yeah i yeah have never been to one either and i don't think parades and like big street parties are really my thing yeah I, yeah for the same reason, have never ever in my life been to a pride parade and never want to because it the thought of it sounds so overwhelming. You know what? I'm glad you bring that up because the last couple of years i have been wanting to go to one.
00:43:40
Speaker
And like there's, you know, Mount Clemens is like kind of historic town around where I live. um they they have a pride celebration or parade or whatever and i can imagine that it probably wouldn't be humongous like you know it wouldn't be like going down into boston to you know i'm saying right yeah so i think i might try they're usually family friendly so i would think i would try to take my son at least Right. Yeah. Maybe my, maybe my husband would go. I don't know for sure, but. Yeah.
00:44:16
Speaker
He, cause like ah Mr. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I never know which one I'm getting. Cause he's usually very liberal and accepting, but like other days he could be sarcastic and so and uppity and snooty about things.
00:44:31
Speaker
and so he might you know depending on his mood but he might be like don't feel like hanging out with a bunch of those freaks or something and then or he might be like yeah that be that might be kind of fun you know who knows i fucking have no idea what i'm getting when i ask him questions like that so yeah no vi yeah for me like i just it the thought just sounds miserable yeah I mean, it would be if there's like nowhere to sit. Well, right. Exactly. There's like guaranteed usually nowhere to sit, especially nowhere in the shade. like yeah the thought it just sounds like a sensory nightmare that i don't want to deal with and so you know i am one of those queer people who is perfectly fat fappy fappy just made a new word not really fappy is fappy um sorry do you not know what fapping is no jerking it i did not know that
00:45:32
Speaker
it's a thing like in a thing a male yeah okay never heard of that
00:45:40
Speaker
all right scratchy racey race i said it i said fappy and i did not want to uh i was trying to say fine or happy uh did not go to a pride parade m yeah okay me
00:46:04
Speaker
Also just like any summertime parade in general, especially ones that are very yay America because fuck this country right now.
00:46:15
Speaker
Yeah. Honestly. Yeah. But anyway, let's not get into that. ah oh Yeah.
00:46:26
Speaker
But let me know if you do go one. Mm-hmm. Because i hope that you get what you need out of it. All right.
00:46:37
Speaker
Whatever that may be. Yeah, whatever the fuck that means. oh I hope you kiss a lady. oh boy just kidding not in front of my son or my husband yeah yeah exactly if i go by myself well who knows that would be the only reason i would want to go is for the chance to kiss a girl oh yeah yeah
00:47:09
Speaker
I'll give you a kiss. No, no, that's I meant. I to kiss a girl in a way that I don't kiss my mother.
00:47:21
Speaker
Oh boy. Like you would just pick a random stranger and be like French me. one French me. Right. Hey, let's make out.
00:47:32
Speaker
Oh my god. That is something else. And then everybody will cheer because it's pride. Oh my god. I love you so much. love you so much.
00:47:49
Speaker
We such freaks. I know. Oh my face hurts from giggling. Which is a good thing.
00:48:00
Speaker
Well, there's a Motor City Pride parade in downtown Detroit. And that would be noon on Sunday, June 7th. That would be a big one.
00:48:11
Speaker
h Maybe that is a good idea. Maybe. Maybe. bibe Okay. Let's wrap it up like a condom. Oh, my goodness.
00:48:23
Speaker
You're welcome. All right. So, what have we learned tonight? Molly is horny. When is she not? That's true.
00:48:37
Speaker
Oh, it's a problem. um But a very fun problem. Anyway, i we've learned that music is witchcraft and witchcraft is music and magic is music and everything is magic. Music is magic.
00:48:52
Speaker
Music is magic. Magic is music. We are music and magic also. Mm-hmm. Use your music in use music in your witchcraft, basically. Yes. You, Christina, and you, the listener. If you are a person who practices the craft and you feel so called, then it's a good thing to try. yeah Yeah.
00:49:18
Speaker
Very powerful. Packs a lot of punch. Mm-hmm. this All right. And I want to hear about it when you do it, Christina. Okay. well Both when you've made your cancer rising playlist and when you paint your bosoms.
00:49:37
Speaker
Which I am not painting my bosoms. i am decorating my beesoms. Different things. yeah Two different things. Yes, I know.
00:49:48
Speaker
ah Yeah, but that's our show. and We hope that you've had a beautiful, wonderful time listening to us Wait, and wait. Maybe, what maybe I could get somebody to airbrush my bosoms for the pride festival. And I'll be the making out with a late I would just be like that beautiful lady who I just sent you a picture of.
00:50:14
Speaker
Absolutely you Alright, I don't know. i mean, you could you could totally do it in New York because they have the free the titty laws in New York.
00:50:28
Speaker
Women can walk around topless. Yeah, but if they're spray painted up look like something completely different, I think you can get away with it anywhere, can't you? i don't know. know because you can still tell. That they're boobs. Alright.
00:50:45
