Understanding Barbo's Basket and Its History

So I don't remember a lot, but I did a ton of research today about a phenomenon called Barbo's Basket.

Mm-hmm. um and it is something that as far as i can tell with regards to these specific planets that are involved this has never happened before in recorded history no way really i'm not gonna say it's never happened before ever who does it have a name then how did it get that name because the man the astrologer who like clocked it is named andre barbo okay And so he saw it. He was like, this is very interesting. I'm going to make a prediction based on what this looks like to me. Not just, oh, it looks like a basket, so I'm going to call it a basket. But like what the placements are, what the degrees are, what the meanings are.

he made a prediction. And ah he was a renowned astrologer. he in 1955, made a prediction about the Berlin Wall falling and that came true. wow ah And I don't know when he made a prediction about COVID in 2020 or that something would happen akin to a pandemic in the year 2020. don't know when he made that prediction, but I know that obviously it happened. um He died in 2019, so he did not see it happen. Wow.

But he was right. So he he like foresaw this astrological stuff that's about to happen. He effectively, i guess, as a career.

Actually, I don't know if it was a career or not. But as like a known astrologer was looking at points in the future and Using that information, like looking at charts in the future and using that information to make predictions about what might happen.

And obviously when it comes to like making predictions, when it comes to astrology or even tarot, like, You never make a prediction and be like, this is for sure going to happen or like, you know, I am for sure correct about this. But you do, you know, you do it to the best of your ability and then see what happens.

hu You see how things fall out. Right. um So that's, you know, that's what he did. And the basket in question is yet another event that he pinpointed. Like when he predicted the Berlin the berlin Wall or COVID, he did not refer to them as such. Right. Right.

But like that's the thing, is that he made predictions about like societal shifts, political shifts, you know ah community shifts, etc.

And then... the actual historical events took place that supported the changes that he was predicting. So in that way, we're calling this Barbo's Basket because, well, it's the name that has been given. I think it's a very apt name. um But that's because history hasn't happened yet.

And it's also important to note that this event does not betoken a sudden change. Right.

we're not going to see something like catastrophic happen. It's actually, it's generally broadly being interpreted as very positive um or at least optimistic. um'm But it's also not even betokening like some sort of new age utopia occurring overnight. Right.

and what it technically is is four placements that are all going to be aligned and have like four planetary placements they'll be set in particular degrees that could give themselves relationships to each other that are highly highly supportive and these are big slow planets Almost all, like all of them, really, which is a big deal.

So if you look at the actual astrology chart, which is circle. Yeah. The wheel. There's like the relationships of each planet heavenly body to the other ones. They have lines drawn. And it creates the shape of a basket and all on one side of the chart only.

friendly but uh so here's effectively what it is pluto and aquarius is sextile to neptune and aries neptune and aries is sextile to uranus and gemini and uranus and gemini is sextile to jupiter and leo then pluto and aquarius is trine to uranus and gemini and neptune and aries is trine to jupiter and leo And then the opposition is Pluto and Aquarius and Jupiter and Leo. They are at opposite sides of the astrological wheel. Okay.

And it's interesting too, because i have generally understood oppositions to be a bit of a harsher relationship between planets. um Not necessarily outright negative, but just like less... some Creating friction or something, maybe. Yeah, there's a little more like, yeah, friction is a good word for it. um Oppositions and squares are the two different like relationships that I understood to be a little less smooth. um Squares meaning planets are 90 degrees from each other.
