Introduction of the Podcast and Cast
00:00:29
Speaker
Hello and welcome to this week's episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop. We are a live play, firey, dinky podcast with a healthy dollop of homebrew. My name is Mark, the Dungeon Master, and also with us for today's episode we have Ian, who plays the Dragonborn Barbarian Drago. What up? Darren, who plays the human fighter Rogue Robin.

Speaker
I thought I thought you were going to finish it for me. I thought we were going to join him, but no one else did. Yeah, it's the pre-aging course speech. Thank you. I thought we were doing quite a bit. Yeah, I just kind of let you do your thing, man. Didn't want to give you shade on you. If you want to railroad this thing, you railroad this thing. I'm glad you got the reference, Matt. Thank

you. We also go, Will who plays the Wood Elf Monk out there? You guys look after things here. I'm going to go for help.
00:01:16
Speaker
We've got Danny, who plays the questionable human, questionably classed character Claude. Bonjour. And Callum, who plays the gnome, folly, fizzlebang, the ninth. Greetings. You need a new opening because that was a very shadar thing that you made me forget. Greetings. We'll try that again. And Callum, who plays the gnome, folly, fizzlebang, the ninth.

Vision and Paralysis Reveal Mission Details
00:01:48
Speaker
Last week, on this episode of The Fellowship of the Tabletop, we find ourselves in the scarred camp outside of Blickmoor, awaiting the undead, which are pouring over the rift. We had a long skill challenge where we managed to save some lives. We saved some time as well. We cleared out a number of the tents, leaving a large area and a cart blocking the entrance to the Palisades, which should, in theory, give us more time before the undead attack.
00:02:13
Speaker
Claude managed to set up sunlight in front of the entrance. We have a cart blocking it. We have some traps in the entrance where we have cloth over the cart ready to light on fire. Tents nearby have been cleared out. Three of the sleep guard surge who are the part of the scout who are able to fight are with us ready to fight. One has been knocked unconscious, but the fourth one, other tents have been cleared. We've saved, at this point, around 16 or 17 of those who are unable to leave the camp as we stand.
00:02:38
Speaker
We got near the end of the episode however, all our characters find themselves under this weird paralysis which knocked them to the ground where they had a vision which took some of them back to a time before time, to others to an unknown land with unknown people and unknown.
00:02:55

situations. This figure spoke to them of the reason why they are here in Aerith. They spoke to the reason why the undead must not survive. Names were mentioned that some of the party will remember, others might not, all will become clear, so don't

worry. You listened to that, listeners, and thought, I don't know what that means.
00:03:14
Speaker
You're not supposed to, so don't worry. We came round with Gilda Arcord, the leader of the Hailstorm Academy, screaming to the members of the party to stand up and fight as the vision was knocked from their heads. They woke up to a scene of devastation outside the camp, a large volley, which doesn't count towards your feet, by the way.
00:03:32
Speaker
A large volley of arrows were fired by Gilda Arkward and the hailstorm surge over the camp to the north, hitting in the bleak darkness a number of the undead knocking them dead to the ground. Three of the mages which are stationed upon the walls also released one of their fireballs which they read from a scroll which caused mass devastation knocking back and killing huge numbers of the undead beyond that frontline which

00:03:56

they were approaching. They kind of fired over the top of their head.
00:04:00
Speaker
Our party bruised and battered and not really sure what just happened or what they've just seen find themselves at the eleventh hour on the cusp of war.
00:04:11
Speaker
The undead are approaching on our map, which you can find that Ian will very kindly put up on the fellowship at the tabletop Twitter page, are approaching the gates now. Some of them are in the piercing sunlight, which has been formed by Claude. Many are not. The trap, which Robin you set earlier, has not yet been triggered, as they haven't quite reached it yet. They are arcing in a large U shape around the western to the eastern walls of this Palisade, approaching on the entrance. And straight off the bat, please may I ask,
00:04:40
Speaker
for your initiative order. Please roll for initiative order. Oh, baby. Oh, my days. Here we go. Here we go. I'll take that. Oh, OK. I managed, don't I? Mm-hmm. You remember that game? Can everyone just look at Callum for a moment and enjoy? Did you roll the natural 20? And enjoy. Oh, my God. My first roll. The D20 Gamer has rolled a 20. Follow me on Twitter.
00:05:09
Speaker
Do you know how many times I've happened in this entire fight? Just moving across my Claude's initiative tracker onto the table so I can name drop and set it up. Put it in that corner. That's okay.
00:05:22
Speaker
get 20 plus. Yes indeed. Wow. Folly the fizzle bangeth the nine. He's the crowdier man. That must feel real nice. It feels very nice indeed. Then you'll get 15 to 20. I got a 19. A very healthy 19. Good drago, thank you very much drago. Anyone get 10 to 15? I got 11. That's low feeding. Cheers, I got two.
00:05:47
Speaker
11, which means that they get before you, and Tommy goes before you too, except for all 13, and they have a higher dexterity modifier, they're healthier. Then 5 to 10? 8. Oh my days. Robin, what did you get? 6, I rolled an actual 1.
00:06:09
Speaker
will come after you for that. Just to go over our initiative orders for everyone else, we've got Folly, followed by Drago, followed by members of the Hailstorm Surge, the Skaad we've got with us. We have Tali, followed by Elthir, Claude, Robin, and our horde actually rolled an actual one with no dexterity modifier, so they are as a group rolling, they are the group rolling at the bottom of the initiative order, which seems to make sense for our Skaad.
00:06:39
Speaker
directly into combat. Folly Fizzabanger 9th. Sorcerer. Sorcerer. Alchemical extraordinaire. First. Oh fuck. Oh is that me?
00:06:51
Speaker
His character, please don't fail the hit. Dude, Rod, no more than anyone. That's all I ask of you. What would you like to do? He is currently there, so he's going to move forward towards the entrance. Towards the entrance, which I think that's as far as he can actually get, just a little bit. Okay. So just behind Robin in front of the Hellstorm Surge. Behind Robin. That's empty behind the cards. And if I could borrow the red marker.
00:07:14
Speaker
Or any marker. The red pen. For my spell. So you've just drawn a very large sky. 60 feet across the entrance, so within the daylight. Within the daylight, covering the entrance. Basically what you now see on the first marker here is a colossal wall of fire.
00:07:37
Speaker
Wow. So it is opaque. People can see through it, but obviously they're just flickers of fire coming over the top. So anybody who enters into this area here has to make a dexterity saving throw or take damage. Okay, wow. Thank you very much. Anything else you'd like to do, Folly? No, that'll do. Lovely. Looking at a little grass by Claude's initiative tracker. That's the first one down. Drago, your turn is next. What would you like to do? Look at Folly with a hint of surprise across my face and...
Intense Combat and Evacuation Efforts
00:08:09
Speaker
Well, whilst you're there, just to give you more information, a lot of the camp is still not empty, so you do not necessarily have to use this time. Just about to do that. There are other options that are still within the camp. I like. I like the FYI. So seeing that there's nothing that I can do right now, I'm going to head into the nearest tent and gather up.
00:08:32
Speaker
the sick again okay you can probably move so your nearest tent will be behind you so five ten fifteen twenty five thirty feet yep you can get into the tent you'll notice there are four people within that tent two of which you can carry you can send things before a notice that these two you pick the two sickest most unable to walk they happen to be two no sorry two halflings actually but you can actually know you could fit two halflings on one shoulder so you can actually carry through there's two halflings there's a human
00:09:02
Speaker
climb on board halflings i got you you orc on as well we'll get you out of here and then how is that an action how am i going to do this i'm going to consider that your action kind of it was almost equipping them that makes sense um and now what's your movement total movement they're 14 so you've got 10 more feet worth of movement if you'd like to get them closer to the gates yes you can start moving away from
00:09:26
Speaker
can't blink more walls, which has a gate that I guess we're using as a second line of defense. Thank you very much, Drago. Next up we have members of the Hailstorm Surge. The three of them are going to stand either side, two of them are going to stand either side of the entrance to the Palisades, looking at an amazement at this wall of flame that's just enveloped in front of them. One of the other Hailstorm Managers is going to run, so you've got one other side of the gate and one is pegging you back towards the city.
00:09:55
Speaker
Next up, we have these two finished trackers are amazing, by the way, not just plugging out there. We have Tali, Ice Wind. Tali is going to take a step back, so her back is towards the tent. She's going to look out over everything that's happening, and she's just going to close her eyes and start kind of chanting something to her, how if you think it might be some kind of prayer or something, but she's not going to move from her current position there. Elphit, it's your turn. What would you like to do? So, from where I am,
00:10:22
Speaker
Elphir will take out his short bow.
00:10:28
Speaker
and he will line up a shot to shoot one of the Skeletons who is out through the gate and at one of the closest Skeletons. Skeletons, not Skeletons. That's not Coludo, they're ghouls. Sorry ghouls, sorry. So the closest undead that he can see, that one there, thank you very much. I'm going to shortbow out and shoot arrows
00:10:56
Speaker
First attack is a natural 20. Second attack is a 16. Both attacks hit on the same target. So let's do the critical hit. I had the bonus twice as well, but yeah.
00:11:16
Speaker
first arrow. Okay, that gives you the critical hit and then another five piercing damage from the second arrow so that's 18 in total. He's dead.
00:11:29
Speaker
Remember of the undead that you can see from being stood upright dies. You see Elphir lean over the cart corner and fire two slightly arcing arrows which aim digital at exactly the same point, catching this creature in the neck. Both hits next to one another and this creature stops where it stands and falls flat on the ground there. You've not actually seen Elphir use a bow, I don't think. Yeah, you have. Quite a while ago, but it's been a while.
00:11:52
Speaker
Having done that, Elphir, having taken a shot, will now look down to the east and see that no one's covering that section. I will use all of my 60 feet of movement to come down this to the eastern corner, ready to defend that section should they try and breach the walls. Lovely. This is the area where in the last episode you dismantled the tent with someone. We don't like to talk about it.
00:12:17
Speaker
We're still saying that now you're in the shadow of the Deadlock as well. You are indeed in the shadow of the Deadlock that's been cast by Claude in the last episode. I feel happy though. In the darkness. Ooh, that's quite tempting now. Lovely. Thank you very much, Elfia. Moving on, Claude, your turn. What would you like to do? Are you using this at the moment? I'm not using this. Okay. What I'll do is I will see that Drago is sort of coming out of the tent with a shoulder of people and I will just say quietly
00:12:46
Speaker
my axe is yours master and my axe will magically float 60 feet into the battlefield and capture the
Tactical Retreat and Battle Mastery
00:12:57
Speaker
one of one of the encroaching undead people objects undeadness so there's now a giant two-handed executioner's axe that was on my back has now
00:13:09
Speaker
evaporated and reappeared on the battlefield and it's floating. Wow. So I'll do that in a second, but for my main, because that was a bonus action, for main action I'm just going to grab the half-orc off Drago's shoulder, so he has a bit more mobile, and I'm going to take the half-orc as the action if that's possible, and then I will then move one, two, three, four, five, six, thirty feet in the direction of the place where we're dropping off the bodies. And the dude who's now in range of my executioner's axe is going to
00:13:38
Speaker
Does a 17 hit? It does. He takes 13 points, slashing damage. The magical slashing damage. Thank you very much. You see this massive axe kind of cleave off one of the arms and half of the leg. It's hanging on by tender hooks this leg but it continues to kind of hobble forward much slower now. It will be moving at half speed from now on that one as it continues to try and move forward. Its leg is almost off. You see this black ichor leaking out of its
00:14:10
Speaker
kind of stood upright moving forward this large long a kind of almost black tongue hanging down in its mouth that's at this clock
00:14:25
Speaker
so you're moving deep into the camp that we haven't really touched yet, kind of off to the east. I'm moving back into the camp and I'm coming through here to see if I can get a, probably from this side it's gonna be better actually, so I'll retract some of that movement. Get a line of sight on this fellow here, I assume I can. You can't because the wall is six feet tall. Oh! The palisade wall is six or seven feet tall, so the only way you could see would be through where the opening is, where we currently would rather drag the cart to and hope that we can shoot over the top of that. Yeah. However, over the wall itself you can't see, you can just hear.
00:14:55
Speaker
Okay. I've done that then to get a line of sight, so that's done at 5, 10, 15, 20, 20. Unfortunately, I still have another 30 feet of movement because I've dashed. So I'll then come this way. So you can see the record down through. Down through. So I have a line of sight on this one. Yep. One of the ones straight in the middle. Thanks to Sharpshooter, I ignore any cover it's under anyway. Okay. What Robin's going to do is once he sets himself, he's going to see the evacuation going off around him, and he's going to shoot that fellow over. Yep, go for it.
00:15:26
Speaker
So that's a 20, not natural. That hits. He takes 13 points of piercing damage. Thank you. And then with the second go, I'm going to shoot him again. That's probably the most logical thing to do. So 21. Sorry, I'm doing it last for you. Yeah, 21 to hit. And he takes... And with the survival done with the second arrow, I've taken out a regular arrow to see if it catches fire on the way through, to see if it definitely fired anything. Nothing's lit to be caught on fire. Oh, the wall of fire. Oh, the wall of fire, yes, of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely, go for it.
00:15:56
Speaker
That takes, if it's resistant to match your damage, because of the regular arrow, that only takes 7 points. I never said it was. Just give me the full damage and I'll work out there. I was just saying, you know, okay, it's a bit of time. Nine points, if it's... It's dead.
00:16:13
Speaker
and hits the creature in the shoulder, taking it down to the ground, it starts to clamour back up as you shoot it, squaring ahead this time, knocking it dead, as another creature in the middle line, directly in front of the gap in the palisade, has been cleared before your trap. Sorry, I've just confirmed the spiritual weapon axe that's floating does force damage, if that affects your damage probably to some damage.
00:16:34
Speaker
I need my bonus, I need my movement, and I need my action. Oh, I do have a bit of movement left. Now I'll stay where I've got a line of sight, maybe back up to this tent with the final 10 feet I've got. Lovely,
Courtyard Breach and Overwhelming Odds
00:16:43
Speaker
thank you very much. It's now the Horde's turn to move, and these creatures are going to encroach upon from every conceivable angle towards where the keep is. Now, a number of these creatures will try and enter into the flames, many of them moving forward.
00:17:04
Speaker
So these will all roll, I'll roll them as... What was the answer? Moving to the wall of flames, Ollie. So what is the check I need to do for that? I'm slightly wrong, I reread it. So the dexterity saving throw only comes into effect when the wall of fire appears. Okay, after it has appeared, they just take the damage. Okay, brilliant force of damage then. We're at 5d8, so... What the... 5d8! 5d8. Holy shit, wow, okay, yep, cool, cool. So...
00:17:31
Speaker
This first line of five undead enter into the flames instantly are lit on fire and and for a second you see them a puff of black smoke seems to work up in these flames and as you look back all have been How many is he just eradicated? That's just five numbers of them
00:17:51
Speaker
question BM, how nostalgic are you for the days when this party had no spellcasters? A little bit actually. Now is the type of time that you need it though so I'm kind of glad we have some of that folly in the mix. These creatures have just been destroyed, absolutely decimated. Your axe claws are staying positioned, you're in control of it, just checking, thank you very much.
00:18:12
Speaker
The creatures, some of them seem to be in positions where they look to start climbing, but none of them have actually breached the wall yet. They are against the wall, especially on the western front of the wall, up around to the north. The entrance is still clear, however, because of the spell that seems to be keeping them at bay. That is their turn, top of the round, for Leif is a bang their ninth. I'm going to fall maybe from now on, I think. I hope you move, yeah. Fuck yeah.
00:18:37
Speaker
What do you want to do, Folly? Well, I can still fire through it, so I'm just going to tap my quarterstaff twice, two little fireballs just appear, and fling off. I love your character so much. Did you get the ones you fireballed? Yeah, usually. What am I actually going to do? I can fireballs, surely. Yeah, the cantor. Yeah, the cantor. Yeah, actually, I'll do that one instead. No, I'm going to do a fireball. I love this character.
00:19:04
Speaker
Now bear in mind, I'm just going to tell you, wooden walls, just saying. What's the eerie effect though? 20 feet. 20 feet. So we have, thanks to Crash Back Hall, we have these amazing 23 radius markers as well. You have got other things in the works as well. You've got Robin's Trap, which is set up north of the Palisades. Let me just... If you have to be able to see your target, you will. You can really see the point that you want to strike. Yeah.
00:19:33
Speaker
No, okay. I won't do it yet. I'll save that one. I will stick with the cantrip then for now. Firebolt. Okay. I'm actually going to use it with twins as well so I can attack two people at the same time. So that's two of your... Which I will basically go for these two. Two of the saucer. That's two of your saucer as well. I fucking love saucers. 18 to hit for one. Hits. 17 to hit for the other. No, 16 to hit for the other. Hits.
00:20:05
Speaker
One of them is knocked out, yeah. Down, which to the other is 18. So you see the small, gnarish figure, say gnarly, gnarly, gnarly something to himself, knock his scarf on the floor for a second, he's two, five volts a pimp, this is what they get fired at, almost with him not even looking, passes through this wall of flame, knocks out these two ghouls which stand in front of the entrance of the palisade, knocking them down as he blows the smoke off his fingers.
00:20:33
Speaker
rolling man. Next up we have Drago, your turn, what would you like to do? I'm going to use all my movement and dash to get these people on my shoulders into this area that have already worked out. You managed to make your way back through the camp towards the doors of the blinkmaw gates. Are you going to put them down now or are you moving all the way back to the academy? Is there anyone around there that would take them off me? You've got
00:20:56
Speaker
50 or 60 armed soldiers there ready with the bows and arrows waiting for the next command to fire. So one or two of them. I would look towards them and go, anyone, take these injured, get them to your mess. I will carry on. One of the men puts his bow over his shoulder and quickly runs forward. The motion to the others will be okay. Takes the two halflings and runs back into the camp saving. Two more of the hailstorms scarred. Thank you very much. That's all I can do. Lovely, that's your turn. Over then.
00:21:23
Speaker
Thank you Drago, it's the turn of the surge themselves.
Cliffhanger and Session Conclusion
00:21:29
Speaker
The chap who's making his way back through is going to enter into one of these attempts and he disappears from your view. The other two soldiers that are here are going to move into position and try and move the cart which is currently in front using a strength check
00:21:47
Speaker
I'll take that. And they managed to move the cart and what they've done is they've taken the work that Drago did last turn and adjust the position of the cart. These people seem to be aware of the way in which these creatures work and have positioned the cart in a way in which should block the majority of the entrance at least slowing them down. They also move parts of the cover to make sure it's fully enveloped, tucking it in, getting it ready so when it is lit it has the most effect. Also they are trying to stay back from the
00:22:16
Speaker
fire which seems to encapsulate the front portion of this. Why did the two end up? They end up on our side of the palisade, not on the fire side of the palisade, which the fire does start about two or three feet away from where this is. They move back ever so slightly to keep it away from the flames as well. That is their turn and that one has disappeared. We now have Tali.
00:22:41
Speaker
Itali is going to have seen what Folio Fizzabango 9th has been up to in the spells he's been casting. She's going to move just to your off shoulder and she's going to take a shot through one of the undead, which is encroaching on the front entrance, rolling 23 for her attack, which means she completes eight damage, a fire damage, a firebolt has launched out, which is the max she could for that, which is fair enough, through the palace eight and towards one of the undead that's approaching the front entrance. That is her turn. We move to claw the bow. What would you like to do?
00:23:09
Speaker
Elfair, I literally have Crafts by Claude's trackers right here and even then I still managed to get it wrong. That's bad appetites, don't include. These are so excellent, I managed to fuck it up. Sorry, Elfair, what would you like to do mate? The tent to Elfair's right, are they occupied? Or can I see that they're occupied? The tents are on that line, you can't see anything from where you are but they're not occupied. Okay, Elfair.
00:23:35
Speaker
Elphie will look over his shoulder and shout, if you're in the tent, get out of the tent, get into the town. I'm then going to use the short bow and give myself disadvantage and shoot arcingly over the palisade so I can't see my target. Nice, I love it. And so the blind fire towards the gate beyond the wall just to see whether I happen to hit anything. Okay, go for it. So with disadvantage then, roll your short bow attack. 12 to hit.
00:24:02
Speaker
You fire the arrow up into the air and you hear thud into the ground on the other side. Okay, I will shoot my second arrow. It's 14 to hit. 14.
00:24:13
Speaker
hits. You fire this first arrow here, thud into the ground, down back on the ground, almost on the Palisades, you want to see it. Your angle slightly off the second one, you aim, you take into consideration the wind that's now approaching from the north, you fire the arrow up and you hear, hit one of the creatures on the other side of the Palisade. And that takes six piercing damage towards the northern edge. So I'm going to say you hit one of the chaps who is trying to climb the walls, who's now actually fallen down slightly in his back.
00:24:39
Speaker
on the ground, you wouldn't be able to see that person. That's fine. We know anything else you want to do out there, you got me moving? No, I'm going to perhaps centre myself a little between the walls, just getting ready.
Episode Wrap-Up and Promotions
00:24:51
Speaker
Okay, lovely, thank you very much. Claude, your turn. So while I can still see from a distance what's happening past the fire wall, I'll use my bonus action to move my floating executioner's axe, so it's now in the area of one of the other encroaching undead.
00:25:07
Speaker
Members, and I'll use my movement and I'll have a look with the half hook on my shoulders. I'll say my name's called. What's your name? Are you okay?
00:25:16
Speaker
And I'll pantingly do the same. Get over to where Drago dropped off and I'll make a deposit of a half walk this time instead of two halflings. And with my remaining 15 feet of movement ahead in the direction of Elf here. So that's my action. I'll do the damage on the bonus action. Sorry, just before you get to that, you've dropped off. Dropped off a dude. Another one of the archers.
00:25:37
Speaker
equips his but puts his bow to the side and goes back and grabs the hover can kind of put some over his shoulder and walks him towards the entrance to the hailstorm academy so you're making the attack now with the floating spiritual axe is going to roll a it's good it's good it's a 26 26 and damage b 11 points of force damage thank you lovely so you see this axe hover across the space and then as as one of the
00:26:05
Speaker
As one of the undead approaches, it just seems to take its own velocity as it's moving forward and just hits it right in the abdomen, knocking the steam out of it really, and causing this massive break in its centre of mass where this black plush starts to leak out as it screams out, as it's been stopped dead in its tracks, so to speak, okay? Thank you very much for that. Robin, your turn. Okay, I've seen the people doing rescues going past me, and what I do is, first of all, I come to hear an appear in this tent. Are there any one inside? Yes, there are three members of the Hail's
00:26:36
Speaker
two women who currently are unconscious and are awake, are moving at the moment, and a single Giffy Yankee who's let know of him trying to get one of them up. This is the 10th closest to Bleep Moment. This is one of the members of the Sleepguard Service who was trying to undo before he made a headway and moved. Okay, and then what I do is I go to one of the unconscious women
00:27:01
Speaker
I pick her up and I will double dash on my turn. Actually dash, bonus dash. Lovely, so you managed to make your way all the way back to the entrances of the oblique mall. And I rescue her. Any move, I will say, even though because I haven't calculated that, because I picked carrying her, that will probably have impacted my ability to move, so that's probably as far as I would have got. Yes indeed. That's the end of my turn. Thank you very much for that. Over to the Undead Horde.
00:27:28
Speaker
we get a series of more undead approach through.
00:27:33
Speaker
Yeah, it's going to be amazing. I'm going to get my BH ready. I'm just placing some more troops. I imagine there are more than are actually on... Absolutely, yeah, I just don't have enough figurines. That's fine. Just to give the impression of oncoming waves that are approaching. So four more. Here's a question. Your act is an opportunity actor. He moves out of that foot. So we have another five that have entered into this wall of flame now. They are just trying to get through. Volley, can you roll for damage, please? Yeah, I can.
00:28:02
Speaker
bullets and damage on all of them. Yep. So 18 bullets of damage, these, another five, kind of running in, trying to break through this wall of flame, really sprinting into this, but all five. All five. Oh my god. Good job you're not rolling badly. Good job, have not. Well done on choosing a spell that means you don't have to roll. I'm going for that. I don't want to do any more rolling. I did roll for damage consistently. Which is great, actually. That's a really good spell. Some more of the undead have appeared. A few of them have entered into the trap space.
00:28:32
Speaker
that robin you set in the last episode can you please what do we roll for that four d4s four d4 okay roll this d4 they're unaware of this uh nine points of acid damage to all of them so all the creatures all five of them that have entered into the space take nine points of acid damage as this trap i imagine springs almost up out of the ground holds up for a second before letting out this green liquid which stings them
00:28:58
Speaker
smoke off them as they let out this ear piercing scream of what you can only imagine is pain but all that of anger as all five of them take those nine points of damage and a few more of the undead now you see have encroached round from the far east side and are approaching the opposite side of the palisades or elsewhere the opposite side to where you are currently stood closest to the entrance of the palisade. Question, how will
00:29:19
Speaker
Who and how would have we observed that there's an encroaching force now from the west? You could hear them. So there's no gaps in the Palisade Wall? There are no gaps. You can audibly hear them and especially Claude with your high perception. They're not trying to hide it. They're just absolutely screaming, barreling down on this. The ones on the eastern side of the wall trying to pummel at this, trying to break it down with their claws, trying to climb it, just whatever they can. Kind of think 28 days later, just kind of ferocious.
00:29:49
Speaker
Sorry, the ones on the east haven't been- Just getting to them. Sorry. That was great. Getting quite a few of them there. He's fallen down. A number of the undead managed to encroach upon the wall. Oh shit. Oh shit. So you've got one, two, three, four, five that are up on the wall. These are all nice round numbers. There are five that are currently on the walls.
00:30:10
Speaker
looking down now on a lone wood elf stood there going come at me bro as he stands there matrix ready hands out ready to fight but they haven't made it over the wall yet they have counted this as difficult terrain so I'm going to roll to see whether or not they they do
00:30:29
Speaker
them as they enter on top of the wall, slip their handling as they get on top and take five points of piercing damage as they pierced themselves on the top of the palisade walls. So you see out there some of these struggle to climb the walls, but two of them managed to definitely climb up and are poised on top, ready to jump down, but they haven't quite, they're just going, I've run out of action, so I'm having to wait here until next time. And you go, right, okay, cool, thank you. That is the end of the undead horde as it approaches. We go back to the top of the round. Folly, Fizzlebang, the ninth.
00:30:59
Speaker
Our chemical extraordinaire. Yeah. Lover of all doodads. Sticking through his spell book and going, okay. What do I have to do? Oblivion. Apocalypse. It's part of the fun, I guess, of changing from a martial character to a spellcaster. Yeah, I have no idea of a lot of stuff. You've come straight in at 9th level. If you do have any questions, I love Warlocks. Sorry, I love sorcerers, so do fire away if you have any questions. I'm just impressed. That's fine. I think on this particular occasion, though, just change up. Why not? Let's do a fireball.
00:31:28
Speaker
Yeah, oh my god. Fame broke, don't fix it. On a fireball!
00:31:33
Speaker
Damn Daniel. The fear in DM's eyes when he's realised. Yeah, cover that one. So Callum has aimed our lovely Airy of Effect march of 20 feet over the encroaching forces which is entering from the north towards the Palisade entrance. He's managed to get one, two, three, four, five, six, seven of the undead within his sphere, many of which have been hit by Robin's spell already.
00:32:01
Speaker
interest. What's your fatalities at the moment? My fatalities? 10. 12 at the moment. Yeah 12 at the moment.
00:32:09
Speaker
Everybody in that area doesn't make a dexterity saving throw. What is it? The main thing I wanted to tell you. Seventeen. Two pass. The rest will fail. It's a five fail. I've got three natural ones. Come on, undead horde. I thought you were supposed to be more hordey than this. Okay, the ones who fail take 22 points of damage.
00:32:32
Speaker
The ones who pass take 11 points in damage. They all die because... If I mark which you sent bigger ones... You should be notching these up. I hope that you notch these up. I'm keeping a tally for you, Phil. Up to 90. The ones that were attacked by the spell previously, the ones that were hit by the trap previously that Robin had set, or instantly you're evaporated in the damage, two of which you aim the viable mortal wards, hit directly and instantly disseminate to their bodies across the realm if you vote.
00:33:00
Speaker
If you head for that format, think of it like, um, here's Jesse and James plastic, Team Rocket plastic, yay! As they fly off into the ether beyond, as your kill count continues to rise to an impressive 19. It's kind of like, that's two and it counts as one! As they fall all the way to Fizzabang the 9th, well done. Over to Drago. Alright, Drago, after delivering patience, turns around, do I see the undead horde on top of the Palisade walls? You can make a perception check, if you'd like.
00:33:30
Speaker
Yes, is that part of an action? No, I'll consider it not. I'll consider it live. Lovely, lovely, lovely. 15. You notice as you turn around after planting one of your two halfling deposits, two creatures have jumped on the walls of the eastern side nearest to Elthir. Okay. You notice two there. Along the wall you also notice no one else along the walls. You just notice the two. What would you like to think?
00:33:59
Speaker
No, because that's metagaming. Okay, I would like to... I'm going to... Sorry, was that to do with the arrows? Yes. They can fire over the walls. The first, sorry, I didn't make that clear, the first arc of arrows the Hellstorm Surge did was into the field north, not on the Palisade walls, it was into the fields. They can reach, they can reach into the fields if you wish.
00:34:23
Speaker
Just to clarify, then. I mean, probably, if you're wondering about the metagames, you can't see them. Exactly. Just to clarify, that's how far they can reach. Yeah, no, it was a cool moment. I appreciate it. I'm gonna die and let it die. Right, okay, so... Oh, shit. Okay, I can see these two. Fuck it, I'm going at it. Right, I'm going to dash. So you end up on the eastern wall. I'm going to basically, from my perception check, where I could actually see two of the undead on the wall, I'm now head banging.
00:34:52
Speaker
I'm making a beeline for him basically. Okay brilliant, so once you approach the area you realise your perception was off and you can actually see five on the wall and you can see the two closest to you, you can also notice more along the other side. From going to trying to help people and protect the city and then see an elf here stand upon
00:35:12
Speaker
waiting for these undead to kind of jump in and then almost being attacked by one of these ghoul fuckers he's going to rage and all of a sudden as I rage I forget about trying to help the villagers and just go into a mindless attack and I look to wreck the bastard that tried to attack me
00:35:32
Speaker
And I'm going to roll to hit when I find my damn dice. Okay, cool. First hit is a wonderful 23. 23 does hit. Okay. Did you say that creature was paralyzed when you were attacking? Wasn't that an auto crit? Oh, yeah, you don't have to hit that. Sorry, you hit the one in front of you. Yeah. Yeah, he's stuck, man. You can... He's treated that crit. It's an auto crit. Oh. But not one of your sword auto crits. No, no, no. Auto crit hits. That's fine. 18 points of slashing damage.
00:35:59
Speaker
This creature is human, you literally, all this remaining of this creature is just two cores which is still stuck in the wall. The rest of it has literally been beaten to a pulp. Yeah, you killed one.
00:36:11
Speaker
Is it nice to be able to say it, unfortunately? Very nice to be able to say it, absolutely. Yeah. Fucking hell. Am I able, then, after that, to use my action to get on top of the power save? You can use your movement to get on top of the power save, but it would be kind of dangerous terrain. I would have you roll to see whether or not an athletics check to see if you can battle, because it's spiked, basically, on top. Spiked? Yeah.
00:36:32
Speaker
What are you doing? What are you doing there? That's gonna hurt. Yeah. Ow. That's just... I thought it was flat. I was like, why are they going for it? They're crawling over. Screw that. Okay, cool. I'm gonna rush forward and swing at this motherfucker. The one who's currently engaged with Elthea? Yeah, Elthea's got two on him, so I'm gonna come in and smack the side of him. He's flat, so you have advantage. Oh, do I? Well, I'm gonna hit that. Tap it like... That's 24 to hit, but I'm gonna go for the advantage. That's 24 to hit. Yep.
00:36:59
Speaker
12 points of slashing damage. 12 points of damage. He takes it like a bitch. He doesn't even look at you because he's looking at health fears. You cut and cleave one of his claw hands, clean off, you take another sway and I'll save his right hand.
00:37:22
Speaker
scream of agony. That's the end of my go. Lovely, thank you very much. The hailstorm surge, these two that are currently on the gates are going to stay on the gates. Another member is going to go into one of the nearest homes closest to Bleakmore to remove some more of the living that are still currently there. At the end of their turn, Tali is going to look around and see that she's kind of being isolated from everyone else. She's going to move to one of the hailstorm surge members that is downed and do a medicine check.
00:37:46
Speaker
which she gets a natural 20 on. I'm going to say for that he is now conscious and sat sits upright but does not get up. So she reaches into her pouch, looks through her book and quickly gets some herbs and rubs it into one of the burn marks she has from Folly Fizzle by the 9th attacks that was made by accident in the last battle to relieve this man of some pain and he's now conscious. That is her turn.
00:38:08
Speaker
Elphir, your turn. You've got two of the undead upon you, what would you like to do? So Elphir drops his bows, pulls out a dagger into his right hand and attacks the one that drivers on so he has advantage on the attack and uses Claude's bless as well. 20 plus? Yep, that hits. Okay, I'm gonna also add my sneak attack damage onto that as well. What are you hitting with?
00:38:32
Speaker
My dagger. That's why I made sure to pull out the dagger so I could get the sneaker's back. So that's 13 points of piercing damage. And you managed to, with your dagger, cut this creature. In the finesse move across the neck, it's black ink, it starts to...
00:38:47
Speaker
pour out the neck as the head falls back, exposing the neck as it slumps to the ground and is no longer with us on this plane or any other plane of existence, leaving just one in contact with you now. And then my second attack will then be to turn and lash out and punch the second Skellington. That takes another 20 plus to hit it. That hits. What did you have a bite for on that one? Did you roll two d20s? I did, apologies. I didn't roll a 20.
00:39:22
Speaker
and that one takes another eight points of magical bludgeoning damage. You managed to hit this creature square in the mouth with its fangs, but actually the force of your magical fists enshroud and shadow, now you just push the head back actually as locking some of the teeth out and its tongue starts to hang off slightly as it stands there in front of you. And then as a bonus action, I will punch it again to try and finish it off. So that's 20 plus again.
00:40:07
Speaker
No. Because you've got... Because I've got the mobile feet, anyone who I make an attack war against doesn't get attacks for opportunity. Love it. So, as you hit this creature in the face and knocked it back, it's not really expecting you to move away, so it tries to kind of swing out, but wildly misses anyway as you manage to move and kind of get out of range of its attack. Thank you very much. Elphir, Claude, your turn. What do you have to do? Any... any spiritual feeling after saying that prayer?
00:40:15
Speaker
5 points of magical bludgeoning damage.
00:40:33
Speaker
as my action for the last round. Okay. Nothing. The only thing you felt was that sense of dread after casting to check for the number of undead. Okay. And given the eyes of the grave that allowed me to see the numbers, the immeasurable numbers, I will release a light cam trip in the direction of the western wall and shout volley and the light will be like a flare almost for the area where I'm asking for the volley. Fucking love that. Oh, that is so good. Yes, absolutely. So you managed your cast.
00:41:02
Speaker
I'm going to say it randomises where it's going to fall. So it actually hits a little bit too close to Bleakmore, but still it lights the air because you can't really see where it is. You're envisaging where it is. So it lands a little too far south really to like the whole of the Western flank, but catches a good amount of it. You then are using action to... The action was to cast light and ask for the flare. Because I asked for the body. You said in the last episode that when we called for one of the Hailstorm actions, that's an action.
00:41:33
Speaker
back the ability to launch three
00:41:36
Speaker
three volleys of arrows and three volleys of fireballs as well. This is the first of the arrows you need to launch. So I'm going to do a roll of d20, tell me how many. Die, one, two, three, four, five of them. As this massive volley of arrows come flying out, you hear them all move in position to angle themselves towards this western front, take out a number of these forces as you see arrows arcing over your head, feeling quite in tune with
00:42:04
Speaker
Even in the height of battle, you seem to feel good as this brotherhood, this unit, which seems to be working well together. As you can hear these arrows flooding into the ground here and the screams of some of these creatures off to the side. Thank you very much. Yeah, and I will use my bonus action then to have my spiritual weapon. Let's do another slice at this chap. Yep, absolutely. That will be A. Okay, the screams of children within. 14. 14 hits. 14 hits.
00:42:31
Speaker
Can I spend an inspiration to increase damage? No, just to hit. That's fine, it's six points of force damage.
00:42:41
Speaker
Axe fires up again and catches this creature that was caught in a midsection and just basically execution a style quite fitting with the axe style removes its head as it slumps to the ground dead you notice now from the looks of things that the front frontal assault of his palisade is lessening slightly as they realize that these waves of under are not breaking through though they still remain the concentration now seems to be on the flanks
00:43:07
Speaker
That would still be on and I'll just use my movement to now move into this tent, the tent closest to the northern palisade wall. And again, while I'm in there, see what's there. You won't be on the tent, it's empty. There's no one in there in that tent.
00:43:30
Speaker
wall using the hide action as before I spin up and I see this flanks been taken out from the volley which side fired that volley both all can I get them to do that as well okay I see that then I scrawl along this side and I see nothing however I do hear over my shoulder that side without even thinking
00:43:52
Speaker
You turn to the ark ward along the line, call in for the body, she turns and points to the area where the light is still emanating from where Claude casts light, Claude casting large shadows after the hordes of undead approaching.
00:44:06
Speaker
The arrow, sorry, to kick the laptop again. Please say they say knock, draw, loose. Pretty much. Not as effective as the other side, though. Not as effective as the other side because of the angle at which many of the used and more are currently facing. They were less, yeah, they're less effective due to the speed at which they can't do recasting, let's say, not just the DM roll badly for them.
00:44:27
Speaker
So they fire a volley of arrows, even the arrows that come over, okay let's say this way, the arrows that come over from inside Bleakmoor arc way too far, they put too much mustard into it really, and it fires beyond them into someone maybe further back, the next wave of troops that are currently encroaching from that side. So it's not as effective unfortunately. Because I've done that, that's a natural point for me to action surge, because I've got them to do that, so I'm going to do something myself.
00:44:49
Speaker
Robin is at this point now starting to find, actually, Mum are under his breath some of the training that he was taught as a boy about how to handle these things. That's allowed him to develop the Battlemaster style. And he hears, again, the soothing of voice in his head, saying, find an opportunity, take it. I'm going to shoot this one, please. OK, thank you for the one on the northern wall. Yep. I'll add my bless to that one. That's what I don't really need to. That's 19 to hit. Yeah, that hits.
00:45:18
Speaker
I've come out of hiding to sneak attack.
00:45:24
Speaker
Thank you very much. So as your arrow darts over the scarred camp, catches this creature you just make out in the distance over the distance you find, hits its square in the centre of the chest, pushing it back off the wall, you don't see it reapproaching after that. And by a heal of always again, one more time, remember, find every advantage and I'm going to go for that one. So you're going for an attack beyond the wall in front of the northern palisade, in front of the flames, okay? Go for it.
00:45:50
Speaker
You've got a sharp shoot to have in you, so don't take disadvantage. 27 to hit. That's a 12 points of piercing damage. Okay, thank you. And can it make a strength saving throw? It fails the strength saving throw. Okay, and this one, I'm going to use something that I can do that I've not done yet before. I can move it in any direction, and it's going to take another 8 points of force damage, but it was going to get dragged into the fire. Okay, lovely. So as this arrow magically
00:46:19
Speaker
pierces through the skin, it seems like you've got to lurch it back towards the fire. But before it does, actually, you just, the arrow rips the ribcage out of this creature. If the body clumps to the floor, if the ribcage and arrow disappear into the flames, that arrow is definitely, definitely gone. Beauty dubs, just FYI. That's fine. In case you're thinking. I'll drag it through. Going round and going, right, where's my fucking arrow gone? What am I doing? Oh, god damn it. Yeah. I assumed that the corpse would have been dragged through and eviscerated. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. The arrow's gone through, and here's that. Thank you very much for that.
00:46:47
Speaker
It is the Undead Horde. Many of the creatures who are currently on the wall start to encroach and meet in combat with a number of those.
00:46:57
Speaker
of the hailstorm surge, with numbers approaching from the western flank. Those on the eastern flank that were wiped out, more troops begin to appear there as well. A few start to approach from the front, but many now are starting to move off to the sides. What you also start to hear are these strange cracking noises from within a number of attempts around you.
00:47:24
Speaker
you realise that those who were close to death have died and passed over and something within them begins to stir and a number of undead start to approach from outside the tents across the scarred camp. This is looking like a fucking battlefield now man. That is their turn.
00:47:49
Speaker
they have engaged with both of these members of the hailstorm surge both of them are instantly slain by them these creatures take two massive swings and cut their chests open as they don't even pause to stop as they rampage over towards folly fizzle banger ninth towards elthea towards thali in our courtyard area in the center of the battlefield that is the end of that round ah shit fizzle banger ninth
00:48:26
Speaker
works for me. Oh god he's gonna light up. He's got the measuring stick of doom out. Yeah I'll take the ball. Take the ball. Yeah fireballs. Fireball. Fireball. Leave an area anyway wouldn't it? No it doesn't persist. It doesn't persist. It doesn't remain now. Are you always gonna have to roll for the wall? I'll figure that out I don't know. So yeah okay. That's not the worst idea. Three fireballs. No no. That I'm going to do.
00:48:57
Speaker
Can everybody in there make a dexterity saving throw? Oh, 17. Well, I try and work out some damage. For fuck's sake! Hey, Mark, roll better.
00:49:13
Speaker
No. I'm not even kidding. I rolled like seven nines in that. That's a beautiful thing. Or fail except one that passes. And we'll say for argument's sake it's this one chap on the other side of the wall. Just on that far side. Everybody else takes 27 points of damage.
00:49:30
Speaker
I take it, the tank goes as well. I would imagine so. And the wall. And the wall? Was there any innocents in there? Well, the binturn is a... They would have turned in. Ah, cool. ...dock, the evil being. You've taken out another one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. I'm folly, man. And does this chapter take half damage? Yeah, he will take half damage, so that will be rounding. 27 rounds, that's 13 points of damage he would take.
00:49:57
Speaker
He's got 13 points of damage, so you've taken a massive chunk out of that. I actually have already rolled for it. With this fireball, which comes crazy. Oh, crazy? That's not even a word. Crashing. Crashing. Carreering. That's what I'm saying. Canoedling down. Canoedling down.
00:50:14
Speaker
comes careering down from this tiny little gnome figurine, crashes into the wall, bashing this whole section of the wall clean, open. There is now about a 35 foot gap in the wall where just the smoldering remains of a tent and the Palisade walls are now open. Are the edges ablaze at all? The edges are on fire, yes. This whole area seems to just be smoldering with the damage and speed at which this fireball took place.
00:50:45
Speaker
Okay, what will also happen? Folly is going to disappear.
00:50:54
Speaker
He's disappeared, that's the end of his term. Thank you, so you just, Charlie and Althea stood there and you would, because even with your perception, have felt this massive burst of energy as the fireball, fireball, fireball hits, and you both would have also noticed Folly just disappear from view. Thank you very much Folly, Drago, your turn. You can hear now your perception, you can hear creatures now, not only on the walls, but within the scarred camp as well. While Drago's still in a blind fit of rage,
00:51:24
Speaker
But I can hear it all coming from within the tents and everything behind you all the screeches Okay, cool. So he's just gonna go for the nearest one and run through so these two
00:51:37
Speaker
Were they in the tent? They were in the tent. So he's going to the nearest tent and he's also wearing the tabard of the hail storm surge. But I know that I can see that they're 100% ghouls. Cool okay so going to the nearest tent where he sees the ghouls that are wearing the tabards coming out and I'm going to just go swing at them like an awesome bastard that I am. I'm not going to use my d4 for that because that is a 21.
00:52:02
Speaker
That is awful. 11 points of slashing damage on that one. Oh sorry I zoned out for literally like a second. 11 points and one. Thank you very much. No problem. Going for the same guy. Going to attack 20. 20 hits. 14 points of slashing damage. So 24 in total. He has been killed. You take two massive swings. Run across
00:52:30
Speaker
of his shoulders as it falls as a slump on the ground. Drago's starting to, because the situation's starting to heighten, he can start hearing more and more wails and screams. His blood is starting to pump more and he's getting more and more breathless in rage. Okay, thank you very much. Drago, the hail storm surge, their turn, they have run a massive hole in the wall to the western front. The remaining hail storm surge have made it back into the academy and are now safe.
00:52:57
Speaker
That's the end of this Hailstorm Surge. Tali is going to be totally and utterly fucking confused at this point. No idea where Follie the Fizzlebang the Knight has gone. No idea what Elf is intending on doing. She's going to turn, use the dash action, and she is fighting. Move as close as she can to the walls of Bleakmaw, where using her dash action, she's getting the fuck out of there. And as that, she runs, going, Elphir, run!
00:53:20
Speaker
and runs towards the gate entrance. That's the end of Tali's turn. Elle Theer, what should I have to do? Good Tali thought back exactly what I was going to tell her to do, marvellous. Lovely intelligent lass. Elle Theer sort of smiles to himself. Tali has sort of times to learn about and reading situations and she's seen that this is perhaps something we need to fall back on. He looks over his shoulder, sort of in the direction he knows Claude is somewhere and goes, Claude, we need to think about falling back. And then he is going to turn and engage
00:53:49
Speaker
the ghouls that are across the wall. He's actually going to use the bonus action to shadow step and then reappear here.
00:53:57
Speaker
and launching himself out of the shadows, because in this dim light, I'm then going to sneak attack. Does that give you advantage? Yes, it does, yes. I get advantage on the first melee attack when coming out of the shadows. The reason why you already chose that, like, 10 feet. Yeah, exactly. That makes perfect sense, just clarifying. That will, that's a 27. That hits. 11 points of slashing damage. Okay, yep.
00:54:27
Speaker
Then I'm going to do my second attack against that creature just with my, with dagger again. 22. That hits. That takes another seven points of slashing damage. So this creature with your dagger you stab it basically in the eye and then spin around cutting it across the abdomen splitting its guts fall open.
00:54:53
Speaker
I'm gonna leap, Elphie leaps forward 10 feet and spends a kai point to do flurry of blows against the creature in front of him with his fists now. First attack is an 11, 11 misses unfortunately.
00:55:15
Speaker
second attack to natural one but it's three with the bless no problem so take that as a three so both attacks just because the 11 yeah the speed of which you've chosen to move at means both hits actually just miss off to the side it's the adrenaline is now rushing through your body you haven't felt this kind of been in this kind of war scenario in quite a while okay and then i will then move 24
00:55:36
Speaker
gets around this ghoul and moves to interpose himself between the ghoul and Talia. Lovely, okay. Thank you very much for that. That is then your turn. Claude, what would you like to do? You find yourself in a tent now that it's empty. In the middle of the camp you hear a massive explosion and you hear the creaking, crumbling of the wall crashing to the ground. You can only assume the worst.
00:55:58
Speaker
And you've heard my shout out? Yeah, and then no responses from the prayer I made to 10 to go. Okay. Alright, I'll backstep out. I'll shout to Drago. Dribbo, I think we should get inside the castle!
00:56:15
Speaker
And I'm going to go for the person who's engaged with Dribbo. I'm going to cast Sacred Flame. Sacred Flame. Deck 17, please. It passes. It passes that, so as this dagger or this flame appears in front of you to attack it, it manages to, at the last second, dexterously dodge out of the way of the attack. Interesting. Okay. In which case, I haven't done this yet.

I'm going to point at that creature as a bonus action and I'm going to cast Path to the Grave. Okay. That creature is now entirely vulnerable to any attack made to it by Drago for one turn. So it takes double damage from anything. Oh wow, she's like an auto crit very much. It's double damage, double damage, double damage. So if you crit on that, it's quadruple damage. Oh wow. And then I'll use the rest of my
00:57:12
Speaker
So it's three, four, five. Uh, six, is it five? Uh, movement to head back in towards the castle. Lovely. Thank you very much for that, Claude Robin. What would you like to do on top of the walls? Okay. You've seen this wall collapse on the western front. They're re-approaching from the eastern front. The flames are still holding true at the front. Does that, is that a concentration spell? Yeah. Ah, just check. So would you be able to give me your concentration against, against your spell saver? Can't, can't say anything.
00:57:40
Speaker
Modify, do I have to then? Concentration check. Is it concentration check? Yeah, is it? It needs to be above 10. Above 10, yeah. Oh, so it just rolls right above 10. I agree. Concentration, doesn't it? Natural one! Never mind. It's all obliterated anyway. Either way, it was a natural one, sorry. A natural one, it's buggin' regardless. So you roll the natural one, which means that, unfortunately, the wall of flame, which has been so effective in taking out the undead, approaching from the northern wall, has dissipated as folly, fizzle, bang, bang, and life disappears from view.
00:58:09
Speaker
Robin, back to your turn just to clarify, sorry, what would you like to do? Yeah, so I can't see these because they're still in the tent. True. So they're still in the most North East tent, Robin cannot see them. Sorry, Ian. Spire around and see what they can see. I won't see, I'll just see the top of Drago, I won't see what he's engaged with, so I can't help. There is a man on the Eastern wall, one of the girls on the Eastern wall. See him?
00:58:29
Speaker
Robin's going to take the first time just to scan around for the first time. He will probably see this one, but he will assume that if it comes anywhere near Alfie, he's going to break it. So I'm going to shoot this one. I'm using the arrows on the wall. I've not touched my own supply, even if I've been grabbing the ones on the wall. I'm going to shoot this one. If that's okay, I assume there would be arrows on the wall. There will be loads of arrows up there. Don't charge away, yeah? Yeah, they'll set you a tap. Just to clarify, the one on the eastern wall on top of the wall,
00:58:58
Speaker
I'm going once off the Eastern Wall for the first shot, thank you. I'm going to take the left as well. That's 21 to hit. I agree. As you hit a screen. I guess I popped out of hiding, I assume that one doesn't go on there. He takes 13 points of piercing damage.
00:59:23
Speaker
Going to roll a string? No, is he still alive? He is still alive, yeah. He takes the arrow, square the chest, it struggles for a second and holds onto the wall, but it is still upright. I'm then not going to, I wouldn't switch attention then, I'm going to shoot him again. Okay. Less as well. So I roll a natural 2, plus 3 is 5, plus 16 to hit. Yes it is. God bless fighter art, isn't it? God.
00:59:49
Speaker
At seven points of piercing damage. Okay, the creature is pushed off the wall and disappears from view as a second arrow thuds into its shoulder and falls back off the wall. Anything else you want to do? No, that is the first time, but bless actually saved me though. I would have missed had it not been pressed. So there we go. You have to roll a two for that to happen. Amazing. The undead.

pour through the break in the wall where Folly Fizzlebanger-Knighton has launched his attack. With the wall fallen, the undead continue to approach against the walls, many now climbing on its northern front, many now climbing down, up onto its eastern wall and off the northern front towards the troops.
01:00:28
Speaker
More on Delapere from the edges of the, sorry, from within one or two of the tents that remain as many of the troops now seem to be encroaching upon the walls have broken through. A large number of forces have broken through the gap in the Palisade wall and is now in the courtyard, one, two, three, four, like ten or eleven of them are currently in the courtyard in range. He would be off the wall as well.

top of the round. This is now, just for argument's sake, just so you know, Ian has his head in his hands looking as Drago seems quite surrounded and isolated in the very northern parts of the Palisade, which is now almost overrun entirely. Many of the other players have fallen back to the south, Claude and Elthea, kind of defending the vanguard as they fall back.

And that is where we're going to leave it for this week's episode of Fellowship of the Table Time. I hate you and everything you stand for. We'll finish this off in the next episode anyway, so thank you very much. Oh, we're all going to die. We're all going to die. You're all going to die. I'm locked in. Drago's going to die. Maybe. I'll start working on your immemorial script. Go down like a barbarian. We can't all throw up walls of fire.
