Hi, everyone. Thank you for joining me in the podcast called Women Changing Finance. This is my first podcast, and I'm really excited to start it with you. My name is Krisztina I'm French and Hungarian, and I live in Paris. My personal mission is to empower people and organizations to take action and make the world a better place. And I've been doing just that for nearly 20 years.

But over time, I saw that progress was too slow and that challenges kept growing. We are curing the symptoms, but not the causes of the issues. This made me realize that to change the world, we need to change the financial system fast.

Because most of the issues we are seeing today come from how the financial system operates. So that's where I've been focusing my efforts in the past 10 years. And I feel incredibly privileged.

My work gets me to travel and to meet amazing leaders and changemakers all around the world, working hard to change the system and make it better for people and the planet. That's what inspired me to start this podcast. Through this podcast, I want to share what I see and what gives me hope and optimism.

At the beginning of my career, I was not interested in finance despite having an MBA. As a result, I have never worked in finance. But through my journey, and thanks to my work with investors and experts, I have learned so much about how the financial system works and how players operate within it. It gave me an incredibly useful set of insights on how we can build economies that work for everyone.

I got to understand what needs to be changed about the financial system, its players and its incentive mechanisms. I realized that when I talk to other changemakers and explain what I do, I usually get a lot of questions which shows that there is interest, but perhaps a lack of understanding of these topics.
