Hi Zen Creator! In this video, I will show you how to upload and publish an audio episode to a podcast.

From the top right corner of your Dashboard, click the New button. Select Episode.

Episodes are published to a specific podcast. Click the Show Image in the header in the top left corner of the page. If you have not yet created a podcast, in the dropdown, select Create Show to create a brand new podcast. Or, select Import Show to copy over an existing podcast that is hosted elsewhere. If you have already created your podcast, in the dropdown click on the Show Name to select it.

Click the Upload button in the center of the page or on the right. Please note, the file format must be MP3 for audio episodes or MP4 for video episodes. Other file formats such as WAV, FLAC, MOV, WMV, etc. cannot be uploaded. Select your episode file and it will start uploading. How long this takes depends on the size of the file and your internet upload speed. You should keep the page open while the upload processes but it is not necessary to stay on the page. If you would like, you can leave it open in the background while doing other things.

Once the upload completes, the file name, size, and the upload date and time will appear on the right. Make sure that file is selected and then click the Finalize & Publish button.

You are taken to the Publish page which has two tabs in the right sidebar.

The first tab, Episode Info is where you enter the necessary information such as the episode title and description. At minimum, complete these. Scroll down and click Advanced Settings to display and complete additional fields such as the season and episode numbers, keywords, episode rating, and episode type.

If you would like to publish the episode to your RSS feed immediately, click the Publish Episode button now.

If you would like to schedule the episode to publish at a later date and/or time, click the Schedule Episode tab.

Next, to Scheduling, select Enabled. In the Date field, select the publish date from the calendar. In the Time field, select the time to publish. The Timezone field will default to your computer’s timezone and can be changed if necessary. Review the date and time you entered and then click the Publish Episode button.

The episode will be added to the Episodes tab of your Dashboard. If you published the episode immediately, a green dot to left of the episode name indicates that it has been added to your RSS feed. If you scheduled the episode to publish at a later date and/or time, a yellow dot to the left of the episode name indicates that it will be added to your RSS feed later.

If you are submitting a newly created podcast to the directories for distribution or if you are moving an existing podcast from another hosting provider to Zencastr, you’ll need your RSS feed link.

On your Dashboard, click the Shows tab. Click the podcast’s cover image. In the upper right, click the arrow icon. Then click the RSS feed icon. Your RSS feed link is copied to your computer’s clipboard.

Zencastr analytics allows you to see your listener base, your plays and downloads count, location, devices used to play your podcast, and other necessary stats that can help you plan, create, and optimize your podcast's content and promotional strategy.

 * From your Zencastr dashboard, click "Analytics" on the left-hand side of the page.
 * Up on top, you have your filter options, so you see the analytics of those you only want to see.
 * On the right side, you can also filter the timeline and even customize the dates.
 * Depending on the filters you set, you should have a view of your downloads by the operating system, mobile, browser, source, the time of the day, listener retention, downloads over time, and downloads by location.

 * From your Zencastr dashboard, go to the shows tab.
 * Select the show you want to copy the RSS feed from
 * Click the RSS feed button to copy the RSS feed.
 * Go to podcastsmanager.google.com and click “start now”
 * Enter the podcast’s RSS feed and click the “next step”
 * Review your podcast information. Click “next step”
 * Verify your feed. If your Google account and the email associated with your show match, you’ll instantly be verified. If not, Google will need to manually verify the email associated with your show.

To submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts, you'll need your new Zencastr RSS feed, which is found in your growth dashboard. You'll also need to create an Apple ID if you don't already have one.

 * Go to https://podcastsconnect.apple.com to create an Apple Podcasts Connect account using your Apple ID and password.
 * Once logged in, click the purple + sign next to "Podcasts."
 * Select "New Show."
 * Choose "Add a show with an RSS feed; click next.
 * Paste your new Zencastr RSS feed in the space provided
 * Click "Add".
 * Review your show details on the "Show Information" page.
 * Click "Submit for Review."

You've just submitted your podcast to Apple for review. Log in to your Apple Podcast's connect account anytime and review your status.

You should receive an email from Apple Once your podcast has been approved.

 * Go to https://podcasters.spotify.com
 * Click the "get started" button
 * Login to your Spotify account
 * Go to the three dots in the top left
 * Select "add or claim your podcast"
 * Click the "Get Started" button
 * Paste your new Zencastr RSS feed
 * Verify you own this podcast
 * Click send code to receive your email and confirm your code
 * Add your podcast details
 * Confirm the information
 * Click submit

Hi Zen Creator! In this video, I’m going to show you how you can add an episode artwork in Zencastr.

 * From your Zencastr dashboard, click the EPISODES tab.
 * You should then have a view of all your redirected or created episodes in Zencastr. Hover over the episode you wish to edit to see the 3-dots on the lower right corner of the episode title and click edit.
 * You should be taken to the “Edit episode” page. Click “Continue”
 * Hover over the existing episode artwork and click the + sign to remove it.
 * Drag and drop your cover art or click on the area to upload your new episode artwork.
 * And click “done.”
 * Then click Publish changes.
 * You should see a confirmation message to let you know that the episode artwork has been changed.
