In a person's life- are Facts or Stories more important? That tension is the heart of this movie and a question I don't think we even attempt to answer. But we do love to explore how clothing can be used to reveal emotional truth, heighten mundane events into the stuff of legend, and help someone shape their identity. And for such a great costume movie, there was virtually no information we could find about how it came together. So it's just us!

Big Fish- I'm Not Sure That Happened

The costumes in Wicked are a triumph. It's a feast for the eyes and you simply must watch it if you haven't. We get into it's journey from novel, to stage, to screen. And is it really important to like the songs in this version? Or is the story told as much between the big numbers? And of course, Fiyero was a bit of an afterthought. Oops!

Wicked- I Need That Munchkin Sweater

This is an epic tale. The kind of story that could only be created by a 6-year-old who's already Been-Through-It and an injured stuntman who's currently Going-Through-It.  Full of questionable motives but truly stunning costumes. Eiko Ishioka is back with more brilliantly realized designs that can't be contained by time, place, or reality.

Amelie is a style role model who is deep in her vigilante era. And the world she lives in is a place of beauty. The harmony of costumes, sets, and props in this movie is absolutely stunning. A must watch.
