Edgar and Daryll: No, it's just this week 10. Just, you know.
Daryll Garcia: Oh, okay.
Edgar and Daryll: There was a lot that happened this week, and we'll we'll talk about it. we'll we'll We'll enter a little bit into the weeds of what somehow people think is their business about trades and what people decide on. But you know we'll dive a little bit into my mind of my trade.
Edgar and Daryll: Anyways, week 10 is in the books, um and we continue to stay tight. The

Edgar and Daryll: ah Nerith. Nerith needed to do this for the bottom dwellers, and the bottom dwellers also needed to do it for themselves. He was only one who came through. right Carlos didn't win.
Edgar and Daryll: Tom didn't win. The playoff hopes are still alive for everybody, just so you guys are aware. But there was just a little bit more alive for one Nerith because of his win against me.

Edgar and Daryll: Well, I know we haven't really introduced anybody in know in a couple of weeks.

Edgar and Daryll: We've been kind of diving into some extra stuff. But ah let's go ahead and let's introduce one more person of our league. Who are we introducing this week, Daryl?
Daryll Garcia: I think we should ah introduce the Rush Popper himself, formal formerly known as the Rush King, Troy.

Edgar and Daryll: Yes, Troy, Troy, Troy. Troy is essentially... ah The guy that almost built the dynasty instead, Tom built the dynasty before him.

Daryll Garcia: Mm-hmm. He's had a championship, and I'm trying to figure out the last time he had the championship. Let me take a quick look at our, you know, our Fancy Boys League Hub. I don't know if you look at that a lot.

Daryll Garcia: Kind shows you what kind of person Troy is. He just... He gets in there. He gets dirty. does what it needs to be done. He may not give away his best player, but he does what he needs to do.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, you know, maybe he hasn't claimed as many poop diapers as he needs to at home right now.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: But in fantasy, he gets dirty, you know?
Daryll Garcia: yeah Yeah. He has 57% win rate or win percentage according to our ESPN analytics.
Edgar and Daryll: He does. Yeah, which is really good. And then his easiest opponent, anybody's got any guess as to who his easiest opponent is?
Edgar and Daryll: It's the guy that beat me this week, so maybe he's not the easiest guy to wins to four losses.
Daryll Garcia: but But it's Troy's easiest And he wins against Nerys 73% the time crazy

Daryll Garcia: and it's kind of crazy
Edgar and Daryll: His toughest matchup, though, ah is none other than them but myself, um which I think we're kind of, it's like, it's at five wins, five losses. Is it pretty even almost?
Daryll Garcia: yeah forty five percent Yeah, 45.5% win rate against you.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah.
Daryll Garcia: so
Edgar and Daryll: So, yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty, it's pretty good. um So, yeah, five wins to six losses. Pretty, pretty good.
Daryll Garcia: and And this year, i mean, I like Troy's team.
Edgar and Daryll: Anyways.
Daryll Garcia: He he drafted... A good, solid starting lineup, right? He has Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen.
Edgar and Daryll: I
Daryll Garcia: I think those are his staples. I think Troy loves them a lot. I think ever since Josh Allen came into the picture, he may have had Josh Allen every year. that'sla That's just from memory.
Edgar and Daryll: ah yeah i don't think I don't remember ever owning him but managing Josh Allen in my in my team.
Daryll Garcia: yeah I don't think anyone else has had him, right?
Edgar and Daryll: um But I think you're right. i think he usually has Allen. I mean, he went pretty heavy on on the money for the auction.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: And I honestly thought that he was going to have a terrible team because how heavy he went on two quarterbacks. and But he had pretty good keepers, and that kind of helped him. He had Nakua.
Daryll Garcia: Oh, yes.
Edgar and Daryll: And then, yeah.
Daryll Garcia: I remember he picked them up.
Edgar and Daryll: you And then having Puken Nakua, Rashad White,
Daryll Garcia: He did.
Edgar and Daryll: I think. And then Bucky Irvin. I think he had Bucky Irvin.
Daryll Garcia: He did. did
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah. So already having those two allowed him to go pretty heavy on the quarter and quarterbacks. Not a quarterback, but quarterbacks. And his team just looked great. um I think he's pretty well balanced. I think he's pretty well balanced. I wouldn't say his team is scary in particular, but I think he's a pretty well balanced team.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah, I mean, he has a pretty ah solid four players that are very hard hitters, and they they hit really hard. They have really high, when yeah when they're doing well, theys they score really high with Josh Allen and Puka Nakua.
Daryll Garcia: Now, Puka Nakua, I feel like, has been a little bit hurt this year and probably not as consistent, but he he was first three, four weeks he was before he got injured. Very good.
Edgar and Daryll: For sure, for sure. Okay, so with that being said, we introduced Troy. um I don't know, you know, he's right now in the hunt for the wild card.
Daryll Garcia: I put
Edgar and Daryll: right And we're going to go over um some requests that actually Troy went ahead and and put out for us.

Edgar and Daryll: Now, we're going to go ahead and look at some playoff implications. We talked about that last week.
Daryll Garcia: um
Edgar and Daryll: i was Obviously, things change. and this is just some of the analysis and research that I did. And I want to also hear your thoughts about this.
Edgar and Daryll: So the the big focus is this week is actually the matchup between... And it's not just because i I'm one of the podcast people, but...
Daryll Garcia: Thank you.
Edgar and Daryll: feel like I feel like I'm a lot in this limelight this year of um like crazy matchups, right? Now, it's me against Andrew.
Edgar and Daryll: Now, the reason why this matchup is pretty important is because we're both we both have the same record currently, right? We're both sitting at 5-5, which means that either me or Andrew, we're going to bump up to the 5-6 spot, regardless of who wins.
Edgar and Daryll: right and And the persons behind us are going to be Troy and Nere with four and six. So there's still going to be one game behind whoever wins this this week.
Daryll Garcia: Thank
Edgar and Daryll: ah Now, the thing is this, I'm 27 points ahead of Andrew, and that can play role.
Daryll Garcia: you.
Edgar and Daryll: In the next couple of weeks, if I beat him, then I have my one game ahead of him and then say he wins next week and I lose, then I might still have that edge because of the points for, right? it just depends on who has a good week or who has a bad week.
Edgar and Daryll: Now, what do you think about, i mean, what what do you, what do you think about that matchup? Just kind of seeing, I know he has a couple of people on by and stuff like that.
Daryll Garcia: i'll tell you I'll tell you what. First off, it's only this muddy because you decided to go away. five five But that's the only reason. I think your matchup, if you want to talk about why you're kind of like yeah in the limelight, it's your matchup from last week that I think kind of puts you in this situation and kind of caused the the rest of this situation. But for this week, looking at Troy's team, I think he has a ah decent chance.
Daryll Garcia: Rashad White is going against ah Buffalo and Kenneth Walker is kind of held in.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, but look at Andrew's team first. Look at Andrew's team first. the The match between me and Andrew.
Daryll Garcia: Oh, between you and Andrew.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah.
Daryll Garcia: So, right now, he doesn't even have a full lineup set up since he has Daniel Jones and Chris Alave on by.
Edgar and Daryll: Well, that's what he does. That's what he does.
Daryll Garcia: So, it's going to be pretty rough.
Edgar and Daryll: But he also has Chase and Pickens coming back from a bye week, right?
Daryll Garcia: Right,
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah.
Daryll Garcia: right, right, we right.
Edgar and Daryll: So those two guys are can be pretty big hitters. Pickens being a little bit not as good not as phenomenal since CeeDee lands me back, right?
Daryll Garcia: Mm-hmm.
Edgar and Daryll: um And I think Swift and Menangai are kind of eating into each other's workload. And Bill hasn't been Bill. Like, Bill's not what Bill was supposed to be.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: um So I'm hoping I can squeeze a win here.
Daryll Garcia: ah
Edgar and Daryll: But...
Daryll Garcia: Looking at it, i think you definitely have the upper hand on this week.
Edgar and Daryll: That's the hope. But now going to Troy. So Troy and Nero, they're playing each other. And both of those two teams are four and six, right? Which is the same thing as like, as our matchup between me and Andrew, where either one of those teams that's kind of going for the fifth seed, there, someone's going to be a step closer and someone's going to be a step behind.
Edgar and Daryll: Right.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: um And looking at that matchup, what are you what are your thoughts on them? Yeah. um them
Daryll Garcia: Oh, well, Neres just took a pretty big hit with Marvin Harrison going on ah ah getting appendicitis and being out for this week.
Edgar and Daryll: He got a pen inside it?
Daryll Garcia: It was a pretty good matchup.
Edgar and Daryll: Oh, man.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah. Yeah, it would have been a pretty good matchup, too, against ah the Niners' defense.
Edgar and Daryll: Mm-hmm.
Daryll Garcia: It's not as good as it used to be, but I think Neres has a slight upper hand here with Agbuka still playing in his lineup, Justin Jefferson, and Now, his running backs is kind of his weak point. So Derek Henry is going against s Cleveland, and he has not been the the same old King Henry that we we're used to seeing.
Daryll Garcia: Then Tyrone Tracy, he's going against Green Bay.
Edgar and Daryll: Mm-hmm.
Daryll Garcia: i think those are pretty hard matchups there.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so I do think that Troy has the edge for sure. But I think Troy has the edge.
Daryll Garcia: You think Troy has the edge? I think Nareth might have a slight edge. think it's a good
Edgar and Daryll: I think Troy with Allen, right? Because JJ McCarthy, is not he hasn't been doing a whole lot. You have Allen, Pukenikua, and Tee Higgins. Those three guys can outscore. And Jalen Hurts. Those four guys can outscore. And they're it's him alone.
Daryll Garcia: I mean, I'll tell you this. If yeah Tampa Bay had watched last week's game with Miami beating Josh Allen, they would take a page out of their playbook and shut Josh Allen down the way that they did last week.
Edgar and Daryll: Sure, but if you look at Nerets' points that he scored at the last couple of weeks, so we'll start with week six, right?

Edgar and Daryll: 85 points, 119, 99 points, you look at Troy's, Troy, where's at? Let me Yeah. right so he doesn't when he break one-th thirtyty but then if you look at troys troy where's he adam me look thatdada So Troy, so this week he lost 115, but then 159, 93, 128.
Edgar and Daryll: but then one fifty nine ninety three one twenty eight Yeah, so actually it can be a toss-up, dude. it can be
Daryll Garcia: Yeah, I'm telling you.
Edgar and Daryll: It can be a toss-up for sure.
Daryll Garcia: so it'd be it'd be exciting to watch this this week.
Edgar and Daryll: Now, yeah, how it unfolds. um Now, however... narrative hasn't So though the only way that think Nerev makes it to the playoffs is he has to win every single week this from here on out because he is 200 points behind most people, right? 200 points behind um like me and Andrew.
Edgar and Daryll: He's about 188 points behind Troy. So like even if he ties for fifth, most chances are he's not going to make it.
Daryll Garcia: Thank you.
Edgar and Daryll: ah With a tie. Like he has to outright win out the fifth seed for him to for him to get it. um Now, the next matchup is McGuire versus Romo. right Now, this is there's a focus one because if Romo wins, like this can muddy the waters for first place.
Edgar and Daryll: right So it makes it that both of the teams are 7-4 next week. um But a win for McGuire here essentially clinches him the playoffs. um Because even if it was to like lose every single game, the lowest that a seeded team can... like he The lowest he can probably be is his fifth place.
Edgar and Daryll: And a 4-6 team essentially couldn't tie him, right? um Because he's already 200... Because he's 200 points ahead of the rest of us.
Daryll Garcia: Nope.
Edgar and Daryll: so he's So if he's 200 points against the rest of us, he's like 400 points ahead of Nerev, which is kind of wild.
Daryll Garcia: but six
Edgar and Daryll: But... um He pretty much cleanses the playoffs. Like, there's almost no way McGuire loses out the playoffs if he wins this next week. um What do you... what do you yeah I mean, do you think Romo has a chance? I mean, I think he
Daryll Garcia: I mean, Romo's... Anyone has a ah chance, but yes, Maguire's team is pretty dominant. But if you look at the points for what really will muddy the water does if Maguire loses and Alejandro wins.
Daryll Garcia: Because the next highest scorer is actually Alejandro.
Edgar and Daryll: Oh, next two, yeah.
Daryll Garcia: and So it's not just if Maguire loses, he ties Romo, but currently... It's Alejandro that has his second highest scorer in our league.
Edgar and Daryll: Sure.
Daryll Garcia: and It'll definitely muddy the waters and it'll instantly bump me down to to fourth or fifth place.

Edgar and Daryll: And then put you into that.
Daryll Garcia: get

Daryll Garcia: Yeah, so I'm right back in the mix of being back in the middle.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah. yeah so And that's because you're playing Carlos this week, right?
Daryll Garcia: I'm playing. and Booty for Haynes.
Edgar and Daryll: yeah so Yeah, so if Carlos loses, Carlos has to win.
Daryll Garcia: Okay.
Edgar and Daryll: s Same thing. Carlos and Tom deserve most winning games for you guys, right? You cannot – and here's the crazy thing. Tom and Carlos can still make the playoffs.
Edgar and Daryll: Like, there is a world where they make the playoffs. ah Because say, you know, say Carlos wins every single game from here on out, right?
Edgar and Daryll: That means that he would be, um so he's three, so he'll be seven and seven and seven. Well, if I win or Andrew wins, you know, we're going to be um six and five, right?
Edgar and Daryll: And then say I win again or not win again and Andrew doesn't win again.
Daryll Garcia: yeah
Edgar and Daryll: Like, we can still be out of we can still be out of it in the four games, right? Because, yes, like the next, like me and Andrew are our our best record
Daryll Garcia: yeah
Edgar and Daryll: is going to be either 7, 8, or whatever, right? But say one of us has to win this week, but after that, we're not playing another team that kind of makes it so that the other individual is going to be 7 and, you know, 7, whatever, right?
Edgar and Daryll: Like, we all can lose at that point and finish the season 6 and 8. Correct.
Daryll Garcia: Well, for all those that are listening, if this sounds very confusing, it is. Because there's a lot ifs, there's a lot of buts, and we're like, oh i don't know who going to be. So after this week, i think we would have a better picture once week 12 comes.
Edgar and Daryll: Correct.

Daryll Garcia: We'll see if there is a clear delineation between the top and bottom. But like you said, a lot can happen this week, and it's any given Sunday. I mean, imagine, I traded away Trevion Henderson two weeks ago, he finally goes off.

Daryll Garcia: So, yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: It's the worst. Yeah. I think that the the playoff picture is going to be more clear after next week. So not this week.

Edgar and Daryll: ah This week, I think, can continue to muddy the playoff, like, seeding. But I think after week 13, not week 13, after week 12,
Edgar and Daryll: We'll know when um we should have a very clear picture of who's making it to the playoffs. And then week 13 and 14 is going to be more about positioning in the playoffs, right?
Edgar and Daryll: Like who's going to be first c f seed, fifth seed, fourth seed.
Daryll Garcia: yeah
Edgar and Daryll: um If anything, it'll maybe by week 13, there's still a little bit of like the fifth seed race. But we should know pretty well if the the top four teams by the end of, not this week, but the end of next week. so

Edgar and Daryll: Just a quick little things for things to look forward to. um The following week, I think a mentionable matchup is going to be you and Alejandro. I think that's going to play a pretty big role.
Edgar and Daryll: Andrew and Troy, right? so those two guys are going to be seeking that 50. So, and they go up against each other next week. So that's going to be a pretty big matchup. And of course, Romo versus never. Romo narrow. It's going to be more like somebody do anything other than, you know, solidify one or the other.
Edgar and Daryll: um But, you know, they're They're all make it or break it games. Let me just tell you that. They're all make it or break it.

Edgar and Daryll: It's crazy dumb, but yes. And then our second bowl in our championship is week...
Daryll Garcia: Well, second round playoffs is week 16, and then we only have one week of championships or sackable. ah yeah The sackable is only one week this year. It's going to be week 17.
Daryll Garcia: So it's kind of it's it's it kind of makes me sad because we've always had a two-week championship. um But we'll see we'll see how it plays out this year. Okay.
Edgar and Daryll: You know what, though? I think Maguire did this on purpose because... ah Usually, Maguire comes out round one in the playoffs, in the final playoff ahead, right?
Daryll Garcia: And then tanks.
Edgar and Daryll: And then the second, it's not, he doesn't lose it until the second, the second week of the of the final in the playoffs.
Daryll Garcia: all
Edgar and Daryll: So, it sounds like a ploy.
Daryll Garcia: I guess if there's one one thing that you have to do to break the curse, you just have to change the playoff schedule.

Edgar and Daryll: Okay. Yep. So that's basically all the important things we have. And, yeah, with that, let's get into our... Week 10 weekend.
Edgar and Daryll: In Week 10, starting off with the saddest week matchup I have ever had in my life. After the trade that everyone has an opinion about, Narek managed to channel all the gods in the world to keep his playoff hopes alive.
Edgar and Daryll: Edward's forced to watch his trade be the thing that caused him the week to win this week. Hopefully, Devontae Adam... continues on for Alejandro. He doesn't have a bad case of the old man back.
Edgar and Daryll: Then we had Tom versus Daryl. Tom had checked out early on Sunday as he saw both McBride, Dart, and Pierce put up 60 points against him.
Daryll Garcia: Cool.
Edgar and Daryll: However, he was awakened by the stench of yet another primetime snoozer as he was forced to watch his team be cut by a million tiny paper cuts as he finally lost versus Daryl and put his playoff hopes to rest.
Edgar and Daryll: Then we had Booty Boy bo and Carlos versus Romo, whose team went 30 points over their projection to destroy Carlos and his 130-point team.
Edgar and Daryll: It seems that 126 is equal to 130, according to Carlos. And although Travion Henderson had a breakout game, it was no match for the well-rounded and great team that Romo has acquired.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: We love your team, Romo. Then we had another slaughterer of Alejandro versus Andrew. Andrew stood no chance as Alejandro had his newly acquired Gibbs, who just kept giving it to Andrew.
Edgar and Daryll: Alejandro was able to enjoy both the win versus Andrew and to watch Edgar cry as his players went off on his team. Hope the wheels don't fall off your running back, Alejandro.
Edgar and Daryll: And finally, we have Maguire versus Troy.
Daryll Garcia: Thank you.
Edgar and Daryll: I think Maguire's team is still scoring points versus Troy. What went down in this matchup should be a crime as Maguire takes the crown for Medgar as the highest scorer of the season.
Edgar and Daryll: Funny thing was, Edgar scored 201 points in Week 7, and he was also versus Troy. Poor man has not had to endure two beatings this season. And that was the Week 10 Re-Kings.
Daryll Garcia: For those listening, just know Edgar put Carlos's 130-point team in quotations.

Edgar and Daryll: um Let me just tell you real quick. Look, I don't have – my wide receiver one is at was Adams. and I didn't have – this is a three wide receiver league, right? Adams is a great wide receiver, but he's very touchdown dependent.
Edgar and Daryll: I wanted to have a one in my team, so I picked up Amoraston Brown because I already have two great running backs.

Edgar and Daryll: Instead of having Adams, Sutton, and what I had was either Xavier Worthy or Booty. So to me, I think it made my team a little bit more well-rounded.
Edgar and Daryll: So forget the haters, whatever. he But, yeah you know, to each their own, right? Like I think if Adams or if – I mean, Ladd had a great game. And Amarad had a pretty good game. But I think if Amarad would have had a 50-point, 40-point game and Gibbs would have had a 10-point game, this wouldn't have been a conversation.

Edgar and Daryll: And when I told that to my daughter, she was like, oh my gosh, dad. ah but But one of the advice I said was, ah don't hold in a physisoda in your mouth because it'll make your mouth numb.
Daryll Garcia: Okay.
Edgar and Daryll: But if you hold it long enough, then you won't feel it. So that was their that was advice. Yeah. um
Daryll Garcia: I like the other one that they said. I said, don't go to the bathroom. Don't go don't go poop if if you if you know it's going to be spicy.
Edgar and Daryll: Oh, yeah. If your poop is spiky. Yeah. No, I said, if you have spiky poop, don't go poop in the bathroom. And then I said, well, where are you going to go poop? He said, outside. And I was like, well, you can't go poop outside, dude. And then my regular advice is, you know, you don't need a parachute to go skydiving.
