It's been a couple of weeks since we've been behind the mic thanks to summer schedules and the Fourth of July, so this week is exactly what it sounds like: a long overdue bestie catch-up.
We're filling you in on what's been going on in our lives, sharing a few summer updates, and of course... taking a very important detour into the internet's favorite topic: Taylor Swift's wedding. Because obviously we have thoughts.

And actually, I think being with you in college, it sounds like we were romantically together, but you know what I mean? Yeah, truly. Because Addie, my niece, was like playing with the kids and I trust her because she's like 15. And then the little 10 year olds like kept them entertained. um i don't know. It's just like so great. And um what else? You actually get to like sit and drink a drink. and Oh, well, like I got to learn a TikTok dance with Addie. It wasn't a TikTok dance. It was more like she made up a dance to a Michael Jackson song with my nephew. And I said, can I get in on that? And so I learned to dance. Wait. Okay, get up and show the class.

It's Hannah's birthday on 4th of July. So went over to her house. I know for a little 4th of July barbecue and swimming Um, the girls were so tired at the end of the day on 4th of July. Alice refused to change into pajamas for nighttime. She was like, we got home. She was in her little 4th of July outfit and her hair was still done. She had a 4th of July tattoo on her face. And she was like, I'm so tired. I can't. And I was like, do you want to change into pajamas? And she was like, no, I just want to sleep in these clothes. And she got into bed and tucked herself in. And I was like, I'm not going to fight it. I was like, that's fine. So I let her literally. And then she woke up the next morning and she was like walking down the hall in her clothes from yesterday, hair a mess, tattoo still on her face. And I was like, this is such a glimpse into her college years. it's Like she was giving... Fourth of July hangover the next day. it was so funny. Vinny and I had a real ah laugh about it. um But no, it was nice, chill, very like Fourth of July. Barbecue, corn, hot dogs, drinks. didn't get like any corn. Swim.

At the lake, there was just so many random boaters there and people that aren't typically there during the summer. You know, they all flood in for the fourth, like rent boats, et cetera. yeah And so the water was like bopping on the 4th of July.

and we were heading back in the channel, like to the lake house. And then boats were just flying by like big boats and it created the craziest waves. And we hit it straight on. And it was just like, wm Wham! Wham! And the front of the pontoon went underwater Like it just was like lapping over so hard that it busted the front door of the latch open, broke the door.

um Graydon was up, not Graydon, Margo was up front with Chris and my mom was up front and like Landon, my nephew. I was in the middle with my dad. Like the wave came up so high, it hit my knees in the middle. Like I was sitting in a captain seat. My phone bounced off my lap, went into the middle of the boat and floated to the back. Graydon was in the back with my other nephew, Beckett.

it was so crazy and happened so fast. Like all of us were like standing up, like trying to inch to the back of the boat to like balance us out. And it finally like stabilized, but it was scary. Was Margo like soaking wet? Like We all were like, I mean, i had on jean shorts and I was like soggy bottom.

I feel like if we had a pool for sure, that would be the case that like, we we obviously don't have a pool. There would have been, like if they had gotten married in Rhode Island, like there would have been boats off of the car. And that is what she was avoiding.
