Episode 3: Surge Towards You

Speaker: Hello, welcome to the Flopcast. Hi guys. We are your hosts. um Last time we forgot to should introduce ourselves again. So I'm Moon.

Speaker: They them. and I'm still Chell, still Leishi. Yeah, hopefully you guys know what we're here for. I think we might just jump right into it, right? We have we have a long one today. um we are going to switch off between, you know, last week Moon one season of an ongoing. I'm going to do a completed series.

Speaker: So we're gonna do that from beginning to end. so ah So Moon has read this before as well, but it's been a while, right? yeah it's been a while. Okay, so hopefully- So I'm excited to- How I reread.

Speaker: a refresher, yeah. I just did ah a re-skim of the whole thing. I had reread it before. it is a favorite of mine. So let's get into it. Today we're doing Surge Toward You. i believe it's also sometimes called Surge Looking For You.

Speaker: um i did read it on Lezen. It is completed on there. um Full two seasons. There's also there's several side stories. I believe those are technically complete. However, every once a while we have gotten kind of surprise and interesting ones dropped.

Speaker: So we'll talk more about those later. um Yeah, I will start with the official lesson description. OK, so the author is cheng youn Which is weird because i realize it's very similar to one of our main characters' names. Sorry.

Speaker: Chung Ho is a national swimmer member who has been struggling with poor records. As an alpha, his physical condition could be improved greatly through sex with an omega. He has a fear of omega, fear but he has a fear of omega pheromones.

Speaker: His hopes of being a top swimmer seem to be sinking, but that all changes when he meets Ya Rim. and an Omega whose pheromones don't give off any scent. Ye Rim is only too happy to help Chung Ho out and thus the two of them start a purely physical relationship.

Speaker: It's almost like they're a match made in heaven but why is it so hard for them to close the distance between each other? I found the description interesting that they took the like Chung Ho being like main character because I feel like he's not.

Speaker: Yeah. Anyways. Because we follow Rim, right? Yeah, yeah. of sorts I mean, we'll start with the intros. Because he's... All eyes on him. Wow.

Speaker: I mean, always, they're both main characters, but we'll get into it. Once again, doing my best with name pronunciations. I did look them up. They were different than how what I've been saying for a long time, so I might stumble a little.

Speaker: But... You got this. We got this. Because it's one so familiar with, I'll probably be using their names more often than using, you know, Top, Bottom, Alpha, Omega, but we'll switch around.

Speaker: side characters I'll probably use, descriptions more so. Anyways, alright, season one. So I do need to note something really unique about this one is it starts in black and white.

Speaker: I actually thought it was a manga the first time I read it because you don't see that a lot. Extra interesting, um the first time I ever read it I was reading comment sections and everyone thought this was supposed to be Bakudeku fanfic.

Speaker: I don't know if you were aware of that. And in black and white I can see it. Once we get color, no, no, that's not what's going on. All right, so it opens up. He's so pretty to be Deku, I'm sorry. Right? No, I agree. But anyways, but everyone gets prettier too. I will be commenting on the artwork throughout.

Speaker: But anyways, so opens up ice skating rink, lights, I assume even though it's in black and white, everything's great. um And it starts off immediately. The gold medal goes to our defending champion, Dan Yarim.

Speaker: That's our a main character. Beautiful little Omega, skinny, graceful. he is a figure skater. he is beauty. He is grace. um Everyone's congratulating him, you know, telling he him he did great. Everyone loves him.

Speaker: And his face looks like strangely just blank. He doesn't have much emotion or anything going on. um One of his coaches, the male, asks him if he's going to be going home to celebrate with his family. The female coach, I'll probably talk about her a lot just because i like her a lot, or at least I can hear her when can. She's like, kind of like, oh no, no, he's just going home because he needs to get his hormones checked.

Speaker: So I've already kind of got no family, something's going on with those hormones. Anyways, so we skip. He's gone to the doctor. He's now walking around the park.

Speaker: We find out he lives at the training center, which is where like most of the um you know people training the Olympians or the Olympians live. um So it's a nice little park. He's walking around. However, he's kind of feverish. He's kind of dazed.

Speaker: And he comments like that this has never happened to him but during his heat cycles before. But he just kind of keeps wandering. And then he looks down into some water and he's Vision's blurry. He sees something fluffy in there and he immediately freaks out and is like, there's a puppy drowning in that water.

Speaker: And so he leans over to pull the puppy out. Who knows what he's going to do with this little fluffy white puppy. He falls in. He's sinking to the bottom. He's thinking about how he can't move.

Speaker: He's drowning. He knows that, but he's sinking. And then typical Manwa style, stranger's hand comes, grabs him. and pulled he gets pulled out of the water.

Speaker: um So it's a beautiful, large, handsome alpha.

Speaker: So Yarem is delirious. He's just going on about the puppy. Where's the puppy? Is the puppy okay? This dude's just like, what the fuck is he talking about?

Speaker: And then he asks the stranger to hug him, and he tells him that he smells nice. um The Alpha then realizes that this is an Omega in heat, and he suddenly freaks out and his inner monologue, he's like, he but he has no scent and he is viibly visibly shaken.

Speaker: um So then we kind of already go into just kind of explanation of Yerrim. It's explained to us that his pheromones are odorless. Because of that, he's felt very lonely. No one ever notices him. Alphas aren't interested in him.

Speaker: However, it has its advantages. He gets a little bit tired when he goes into heat, but ah unlike other Omegas, it doesn't completely shut down everything his whole life. It's what made him such a great skater is that he hasn't had to take the time off because of that.

Speaker: um

Speaker: So anyways, we go from the scene of them him asking to hug this stranger. we get right to it. They are flop flopping. They're squelch squelching. They are getting into it.

Speaker: um They've obviously just gone back to a room. I think it might be a hotel. Yeah, yeah Rim is having a great time. He's getting fingered. He's loving in it. He's moaning. He is having internal...

Speaker: so dialogue about how he's with a stranger this is crazy but oh my god like it feels great um he kind of then comes to a little bit and he's kind of wait who are you in which the alpha is kind of like hey i can't really keep it together right now but this is very nice he does say um oh if you really want me to stop push me away then i'll go He then immediately shoves it in.

Speaker: But Yirim wasn't going to say no. So, you know, and again, he's just totally cannot believe what's going on, but he's into it. They're they're having a great old time.

Speaker: um So then we've cut to the Alpha waking up. He's feeling good. He feels refreshed. He's like commenting like, wow, I haven't felt this way in a long time.

Speaker: There is kind of a whole plot with like, the director and more of the past of Yerim. I'm not going to get too into that. That does already come up here. going to mostly skip that story because it's not the first interesting part, but it may come up later.

Speaker: um Anyways, so he looks over, you know, he He's an omega next to him, and he's just in shock that he didn't have an adverse reaction to his pheromones.

Speaker: I don't remember exactly what point they explained this, but I'll just get into it now. So, of course, he has a complete opposite issue. The smell of omega pheromones make him sick. He faints, he vomits, he cannot handle being around them.

Speaker: It's, you know, as an Olympian, little bit more into that. it's just absolutely ruined his life. He has no social life. He's never been with an Omega because he cannot even stand to be around.

Speaker: He's basically like really bad BO. Yeah, right? Yeah, for him it's just like someone disgusting and stanky like being an anime convention. Mm-hmm.

Speaker: So then Yiren wakes up. When he wakes up, he sees this strange alpha sitting there. He has food. has a bunch of food out for both of them. He did not cook. It's just konbini food or whatever. um he notices that he's wearing a uniform. So he's like, oh, he must be an athlete like me. Obviously, he knew nothing about this dude. He just fucked. The alpha apologizes. He tells him that he didn't know he was an omega. And he's like, you know, because I couldn't smell you. He's like, even during sex, I couldn't smell you.

Speaker: So Urim immediately lets him know, yeah, I have a unique condition. um Pheromones don't smell. But like, how's the puppy? What happened to the puppy?

Speaker: And so our alpha's like, yeah, about that. um i did go back and look. And it was a mitten. it was just a white fluffy mitten in the water. So that's all what all this drama was over.

Speaker: Alrighty. He found another puppy instead. Right? Alright. So then this alpha does apologize. oh i already said that. I'm sorry. i apologize.

Speaker: I apologize now. um So this is when Yarem lets him know it was his first time And immediately this alpha is like, oh, oh, I'm getting involved with not just an Omega, but a virgin Omega. All right. So he's like, I'm gonna take my leave. He tries to get up and quickly leave. um Ya Rim says that he wants to repay him for saving his life. He asks him if he can have his phone number. And Chung Ho is, of course, like, no, like, there's there's no need. That's fine. he tries to get out there without giving him phone his phone number. But poor little Ya Rim just looks so freaking sad. He's just like, okay, like, with his face down. So he's like, all right, fine. Like, you can have my number. Yeah.

Speaker: So he takes off as he's leaving. You can tell this guy is confused. He has regrets. He doesn't know what the fuck's going on. Meanwhile, our cute little baby, Yerim, is staring at his phone. His eyes are sparkling.

Speaker: And you see the name is saved. His name is Yum Chung Ho. And his little heart goes ba-dump, ba-dump. So they've officially met.

Speaker: All right, so... He then, after feeling great, he goes and follows up with the doctor. They say that his pheromones are, and his whole entire condition are becoming unstable.

Speaker: So that's just kind of leading up to things that will come. um Then Chong Ho is at the pool and everyone's complimenting him on his performance. We find out, of course, that he is a swimmer.

Speaker: We also find out he's not really the best swimmer because he's just in bad shape and kind of looks like shit most of the time. um So his doctor, he needs to get introduced. He's an adorable beta named Woojin. He's got... That I might be saying wrong. But I'm mostly go be calling him the doctor. But he's just a super cutie. He's outgoing, good personality, big sparkly eyes. We love him. um So he's they're also good friends. So he's kind of bugging him about what's going on. And he's extremely shocked to find out that Chungho has slept with an Omega.

Speaker: He's then like, well, who would you sleep in? let Let's sleep with. Like, you don't sleep with omegas. And then cute little Yirim shows up looking all sparkly, looking for Chung Ho.

Speaker: And the doctor's like, oh, shit, it's him. This guy's a celebrity. He is famous. And he's hooking up with Chung Ho. Yirim asks Chung Ho to go out to dinner with him. And somehow he ends up taking the whole entire swimming team out to dinner.

Speaker: um He gets really drunk while they're at dinner. And then as they're walking back, he's, this little guy's ballsy. He straight up asks Chung Ho out. He's like, will you go out with me?

Speaker: Chung Ho says, no. He's like, I don't have time for relationships. That's not happening. So very surprising. ya Rim looks fine. His face seems okay.

Speaker: And he immediately says, okay, why don't we be friends with benefits? Chung Ho's like, again, no that's not a good idea. Nah. So Yurim starts rubbing up on him and covering him in pheromones. Even though he can't smell him, he can sense him.

Speaker: He openly to himself realizes he's being manipulative, but he agrees to the condition. you know, he he's thinking about himself. He thinks about how good his time's been, how his performance improved. So he's like, yeah, you know, what we can do that. However, making this very clear,

Speaker: We will never be more. So go straight into them clapping cheeks. but Yeah, right. Famous last words of any BL top. um Yeah, so they're clapping cheeks. We found out it's been a month. They've been meeting up about every five days or so.

Speaker: um i do have to note that in all the times we've seen them together, they're literally just clapping cheeks. I mean, he's sticking it in. They're going for it. Yeah, Rim's having a good time, but he doesn't know better. he doesn't know what else is out there. Yeah.

Speaker: Like they said, there's there we good not gonna be anything more. That's what he signed up for. Yep, nothing more. Just clapping cheeks. No, nothing with the mouth. Nothing nothing else. you Anyway, so Ya-Rim picks Chang-Ho up in his car. He's got a fancy-ass car, of course.

Speaker: Really starting to give that Chang-Ho is kind of a, you know, not, it's kind of a bugaboo. is that an Is that an old term? ah sugar baby? Yeah.

Speaker: Sugar baby almost. Yeah, I guess. And like, what's Yarrim even getting out of this? Anyways, Yarrim picks him up. um He asks him if he wants to go to the movies. And even though Chung Ho has been feeling really good and he's actually been spending more time around Omegas, which he's never been able to do before, he's still kind of uncomfortable. So he says, no, I can't go to the movies.

Speaker: Um, so they, you know, Yerim's just driving him back on the way. He's like, oh, stop and he's stopping get a package. So he stops and he goes and gets it from a private delivery driver. Again, a character who just needs to be mentioned. He is a tall, cannot see his face. He wears a helmet almost the whole time, but you just know he's hot.

Speaker: He's an alpha. He's a big dude. He's very mysterious. Um, and you could just tell immediately Chung Ho gets, Not feeling great about this guy.

Speaker: um Obviously he and Yerim are already like close. um And then Yerim does kind of start... He starts sending treats to Chungho.

Speaker: He's using this guy as his personal delivery driver. So Chungho is getting these treats. He is having bad vibes with the delivery guy. He does not like this guy showing up. um So then there's a big end of the year party. It's a huge thing where all the celebrities, they're endorsers, everyone goes... Chung Ho usually does not go but he does agree because he's been feeling a lot better.

Speaker: um Ya Rim shows up and this boy is serving cunt. He looks like a million dollars. He's in this beautiful outfit. He has a long coat on it this time. He just looks amazing.

Speaker: And he's trying to talk to Chung Ho, who's of course not paying much attention to him. And he actually straight up asks him, like, do you like my outfit? Chung Ho does say, yeah, he likes his outfits. Then he asks, am I your type?

Speaker: think he's had a couple drinks at this point. Chung Ho says, no, he's not his type. He likes non-omegas with sociable personalities. Immediately, Yorim thinks of the little doctor, the adorable beta with outgoing personality. So he's jelly and sad. um i don't know if it's been like clear from this, but Yorim's kind of, um he's an interesting personality. He's kind of quiet, keeps himself. You can tell he's not giving his true self. However, he's also a people pleaseer pleaser. So he'll give a smile.

Speaker: I know at some point someone commented that he doesn't smile up to his eyes. So he's he's not what Chung Ho says. Isn't part of his reserved personality because of the trauma?

Speaker: Yeah, definitely. And I'm going to bring that up but not go too far into it. um He was raised in a children's like home. He was one of the older children there. So um he like kind of helped take care of the younger children. He desperately wanted attention from all of the adults there, especially the director, but he was like too scared to even ask for a hug or anything because he just felt responsible for other children. So he always felt responsible for himself. He never wanted to burden anyone, including like with his feelings.

Speaker: So yeah, that is how he is. But again, he's a showman, so he's kind of good at faking it. But anyone who knows him like knows. Um,

Speaker: true So anyways, he's a little upset. He goes to the bathroom there. This total creep comes in. He's a speed skating gold medalist. He thinks he's bullshit. He asks the room to go get drinks with him.

Speaker: um and he immediately starts like releasing pheromones on him. Yairim was kind of like nicely trying to reject him, and then he straight up like tries to grab him. i couldn't tell if he was going for his butt or grabbing him around the waist or what.

Speaker: um He's like, no, like I'm not interested. He rejects him, and the guy calls him a freak, tells him you know no one wants you because your pheromones don't smell anyways, but he still corners him. He's still going for it.

Speaker: So, of course, what happens in this moment in every BLP

Speaker: our Our top comes in. Chung Ho shows up. He grabs him. um The fun part is he grabs the guy, but Yerim is the one who kicks the dude. um So Chung Ho. Yep.

Speaker: Right. Right. Love that for him. Chung Ho did see the whole situation. So he saw Yerim like reject the other guy. so it made him feel some kind of way um So he actually, for the very first time, he kisses Yerim.

Speaker: in the bathroom, um and he starts releasing calming pheromones because Yairim was really worked up and upset, obviously, over the situation. um Yairim is, like, over the moon in this moment, and immediately Chung Ho tells him, like, hey, this kiss, it's never going to happen again.

Speaker: Don't get used to it, basically.

Speaker: Sure about that?

Speaker: Right. All right. places So a little bit later, our adorable beta doctor, he finds Ya Rim drunk and alone.

Speaker: And he tells him to go to Chung Ho's room because this is Chung Ho's mess and he needs to deal with it. So Ya Rim shows up. He's totally drunk. He comes into the room and he's just immediately like, you're the only one for me. I thought that we were getting closer. Like, why won't you kiss me again?

Speaker: um and then he goes in and he kisses Chung Ho. And... you know, he's, he's an alpha. He does what he's going to do. They start fucking again. Cause of course they do.

Speaker: Um, this time we get a beautiful shot. I mean, there's, he's still just wham, bam, thank you, ma'am in it but he's doing back shots. And like I said earlier, Yerim was wearing like a coat.

Speaker: Now he's just got this, the coats off and he's wearing this like gorgeous lace back. So we just see his back with lace all over it and beautiful visuals. Um,

Speaker: And he's not his type. Right? Yeah, that's not your type. He's also like all of a sudden doing like skater moves. Like his little legs are split. His little toes are pointing. It's a very beautiful, beautiful scene.

Speaker: All right. So during that, Chung Ho is confused about the situation. i don't know if he's been drinking, but then he just gives in He grabs Yurim by the hand. He starts kissing him.

Speaker: And then something crazy happens the next morning. Chung Ho invites Yirim to go to the movies. So we've got their first date.

Speaker: um They first go out shopping. Chung Ho loves macarons. He loves sweets. So he buys Yirim a little snowflake macaron. It's a little blue one with a snowflake on top. Yirim does not like sweets, but he is just, he is enamored. He is taken back by this little present.

Speaker: So they have fun shopping. Then they go to the movies. Unfortunately, this is a more crowded area. The movie's more crowded than they thought it would be. And Chang Ho smells someone going into heat.

Speaker: He immediately gets sick and he runs out of the theater. um It kind of makes Ya Rim realize that he's worried that he's eventually going to start smelling because this is the first time he's really seen Chang Ho react. And it was pretty bad.

Speaker: um We then go into a flashback um of Cheng Ho when he was a kid. um Basically, he hit puberty really early and it he struggled in school because of the omegas around him.

Speaker: um He couldn't really participate in school. He almost had to leave. They had to keep working around him. um so that's around the time that he found swimming. And he felt like the only time he felt free was when he was holding his breath under the water.

Speaker: um You know, he met his coach in that. um Everyone was trying to get him to try out for natural for nationals. He didn't want to do it because, you know, he was going react. That's when they introduced him to suppressants.

Speaker: So these were kind of a hot topic at the time, but they were accepted at this time. So they got him on blockers. He started performing great. He was able to go to the pool and all that.

Speaker: And then after he was doing so well, blockers were banned and it became illegal. you could not participate in nationals if you were you know taking them. On top of that, people knew he was taking them. So he was seen as an embarrassment.

Speaker: And so he lost you know lost his pride, his performance suffered. So he went from being like a top-notch swimmer to he just couldn't get his time back. I have a question real quick as we're going through their pheromones.

Speaker: I'm trying to remember because I know in a lot of Omegaverse worlds, Typically, to be able to smell like an Omega or an Alpha, they have to release it.

Speaker: But he's able to smell them even at the pool without them realizing it, right? is that part of this condition or is it just part of the world? Um, it' usually so they have kind of mentioned like at the movies and that it's usually is an Omega who's gone into heat or going into heat.

Speaker: Okay. um I don't think he's like, okay to be around them normally, but he's so freaked out about it. But also they can release like different types of pheromones, you know, like if they're happy, they might release something and that.

Speaker: So because I think I remember, if I remember correctly, there was a pool scene where he was coming out and he have smelled some Omegas. And I'm like, that's interesting. Yeah, i I think that probably those omegas were going to go into heat or something, or there was, you know, some reason for it. This is just a heat-filled world. Damn. Yeah, seriously. No, everyone's everyone's horny, except for poor Jungho, who smells that and is like, nah.

Speaker: He's just traumatized. Yeah, yeah, seriously. And we'll get more into that. This was the this was the softer version of what happened to him. Anyways, we come back to him He's ran away. He's out on the streets. he's I think he's already thrown up. He looks terrible.

Speaker: And he's just thinking about how he's been doing so great lately, but he feels like those accomplishments aren't actually his. They're all because of him being with Yarim. And he feels like, well, I'm a loser if I can't do this without him. um So because of that, he i forget I think he just sends a text over to Ya-Rim and says he wants to take a break. um Ya-Rim is, of course, heartbroken. He's talking to the delivery driver, Mr. Helmet. um you know And Mr. Helmet is like know tells him that he should tell Chong-Ho his feelings because he was so quick to be like, yeah, let's just be fuck buddies that he probably has no idea. Yairim says that he's just too afraid of entirely losing him so he feels like if he tells him his feelings he's gonna want nothing to do with them he'd rather just be fuck buddies than have that

Speaker: um so kind of obvious that Yairim was out looking for Changho but they just kind of run into each other it's been two weeks um you know Yairim looks like excited but nervous to see Changho so Changho straight up says you know I'm using you right like And if you ever, if you want more from me, we just have to break things off right now.

Speaker: Yeah, Rim like goes mute. he has no answer and he just runs away. After this, I guess Chung Ho is telling his the doctor, the cute beta, about what's going on. And the doctor is just like, dude, like, you know, he's more than a fuck buddy to you. Like, you wouldn't be bothered about this. You wouldn't be thinking about this if he didn't mean something more to you.

Speaker: And he's kind of. like agrees. He doesn't tell him, I don't think, but you know, in his mind, he's kind of starting to realize things and why he's been feeling certain ways.

Speaker: So he wants to go find Yerim and sort things out. And that's when he realizes he knows nothing about him. He's never asked him about himself. He's never, he's never paid any attention to him. He's just been using him without giving him a second thought. So he doesn't know where he lives. He doesn't know where to go looking.

Speaker: The only spot he knows to go look is at the ice skating rink because that's all he knows about him is he's a figure skater. So he goes to this ice skating rink and it was a good call because he finds Yerim there and he's crying and he's never seen him cry. You know, this boy's actually done a really good job of hiding his emotions.

Speaker: Um, you know, he's actually, we realized he's probably had his feelings hurt a lot of times. And you know, the last scene, he just walked away, went mute and walked away. So he's shocked to see him crying.

Speaker: Um, And Chongho's like, why would you cry over someone that was never even kind to you? Like he doesn't understand why he's worth crying for. So this is when Yerim confesses that he likes him.

Speaker: um He tells him me he doesn't expect anything from him, but please don't call things off. Like he just wants to still see him. um So Chongho actually hugs him closely and he apologizes to him. They're at the ice skating rink.

Speaker: What happens? They start fucking at the ice skating rink. Like straight up, Ya-Rim is butt ass naked on the benches of this ice skating rink.

Speaker: It's amazing. Chang-Ho immediately becomes a totally different person. He does titty play for the first time. He is all up on those little nippies. um There's a ton of kissing. They're making out like crazy.

Speaker: He goes from the nipples. He sucks his dick. He eats that ass. It's great because we haven't seen this before. Beautiful, except it is rushed. We get like one panel.

Speaker: We get like three panels of titties. We get like a panel of dick, a panel of ass. But hey, at least our boy is finally doing his due diligence. They gotta wrap it up. They're in public still, technically. Yeah, they are. They're just in the ice skating rink. Like no one's there. It's after hours. But like, come on.

Speaker: um Yirim starts you know begging, please put it in um He gets so excited. He comes all over Chung Ho's face. So, I mean, we went from like nothing to getting every single thing all in one scene. Let's see.

Speaker: Oh, Chung Ho stands up. He's standing and delivering. Like I said, like it's crazy that like within, and it's only one chapter, I think. Like they don't really have, they don't usually have long sex scenes on this.

Speaker: They just hit everything he's ever missed doing before. all of a sudden he's on it. um And he thinks about how he wants to pay attention to Yerim and find out what he likes and that. um Anyway, so now they start getting cute afterwards. Chung Ho tells Yerim that he thinks that the ice suits him because it sparkles like his eyes.

Speaker: Yerim replies back that the water suits Chung Ho because it's free unlike the hardened ice. um And then they kiss and Chung Ho says that he can come watch him swim anytime he wants.

Speaker: So that was their touching moment. And then we get beautiful payoff. It immediately jumps to them just being adorable and cute together. Chung Ho is coming and watching Yao Rim skate. They're holding hands. um Yao Rim's coach like asks them like, is that your boyfriend? He gets, course, like, you know, is he my boyfriend? I don't know. But like, yeah, they're. um Or something. named me Right. They seem to be happy together, which is a surprise.

Speaker: um And then Chung Ho is being sweeter during sex. There was a time when like he just kind of noticed Yerim kind of like didn't seem comfortable. So he thought, you know, does it hurt? So he stopped and he took him in the bathtub and was more gentle with him there instead.

Speaker: After the bathtub incident, he, Chung Ho did tell Yerim that he had to go away to Sydney um for training or for swimmy stuff. I don't know. I don't do sports.

Speaker: um So Yerim gives him his jacket. And so, um you know, even though he can't smell his pheromones, they're still on there. So he can still get his pheromones off of the jacket.

Speaker: While he's away, okay, this is a cliche freaking love. I love a phone sex scene. um This one. They need more of them. Yes, yes. Every time I see one. Yeah, feel like this is the only one I can think of in Omegaverse, actually.

Speaker: But ah yeah. I think give one I'm one of an Omegaverse. Yeah. I have like up here in my brain, i have like all of my favorite like BL phone sex scenes. But yeah, that's the only one that's Omegaverse. It's definitely not on my list of top phone sex scenes, but it's definitely the top Omegaverse ones. And it's all I can think of.

Speaker: We should almost start a bingo. And like as we're going through Omegaverses, be like, oh my God, there's another phone sex scene. That's why I had ass eating. Yeah. Right. Well, that's all of them. eventual They lose points if there's no ass eating.

Speaker: There we go. There we go Yeah. I don't think I can think of any that don't have ass eating. There's all this ass eating and like titty play. Yeah. Titty play for sure. Especially in Omegaverse for four reasons.

Speaker: um All right. But so yeah, Rin is being crazy because he is straight up in the locker room with his pants down, um fully fingering himself in the locker room. So as they're getting close and having a good time, the coach actually luckily knocks on the door and interrupts, but he's just kind of like oops, my bad. Gotta to go.

Speaker: um so at that point, Chang Ho, I think, you know, he's at least decent. He's in a hotel room or something, but he picks up the jacket. And for the first time, he's kind of wondering, like, I wonder what Yerim's hormones would smell like.

Speaker: and So while he's still away, Yerim is talking to mr Helmet Guy. and Helmet Guy asks him if he's wearing cologne.

Speaker: And Yerim's little heart sinks. He's not wearing cologne. He's realizing that he has developed a smell. And his pheromones are starting to smell. um So this is where... so I guess I'll get into this a bit. I'm kind of trying to avoid a lot of stuff about the children's home. It is important about his character development. Basically he thinks back to when he was a child and Oh, what I did explain earlier, you know, when he was taking care of the other kids and that, and basically his relationship with the director was when he was younger, it was, he was helping him out.

Speaker: And then the second he started, got into skating, um, And started being successful. He started donating money. And the director would just always ask him for more and more money. And he was giving it to him. Because that's the only time he'd tell him me he was proud of him. and that And then even there was an incident. Where he just forgot to send money. And like the director told him. you know like What did we do to you? like Whatever this. So he's kind of making. um He's already realizing. That he's kind of going through the same thing. Whereas the director. He tried to keep his attention.

Speaker: by by him giving him something and the director needing something from him was a way for him to get acceptance. And he's, you know, obviously knows that he's doing the same thing with Chung Ho.

Speaker: And basically he says to himself, like the one thing he craves in his life is certainty because no one's ever stayed for him. you know no one's ever been there for him. So then Chung Ho comes back from and And he's getting really mixed signals because, you know, he's texting and talking on the phone with Yarim and Yarim is being very affectionate, telling him he likes him and he adores him. And then most of the time when Chungho wants to hang out, he avoids him. He's being wishy-washy. They still meet up sometimes and fool around, but like it seems really inconsistent and it's always on Yarim's terms.

Speaker: um So Chungho is feeling a little insecure. Yerim is still sending snacks over to Changho. um There's a part where Changho, and of course it's our delivery guy showing up. ah There's a part when Changho senses Yerim's pheromones on the delivery driver, which is interesting because he can't smell them. He literally just like senses them. like It almost is like they're having some kind of certain bond.

Speaker: um So you know he asks the guy, you know have you seen Yerim? I can you know sense him on you. And Helmet, so like, yeah, I've been taken to the hospital a lot lately. So, you know, he's on my motorcycle. So yeah, I'm going to have his pheromones on me.

Speaker: oh Chang-ho was kind of shocked to find out he's been going to the hospital. Helmet guy didn't realize that he didn't know. um So Chang-ho goes and finds yeah Ya-rim. He asks him me if he's sick and Ya-rim is really avoidant.

Speaker: I think at this point he's ah insecure about how he smells in that moment even. um He tells Changho, like, don't worry about it I'll let you know once things are taken care of. but Like, I'm going to get everything sorted.

Speaker: So Changho immediately asks, OK, does the delivery driver know what's going on? And when he realizes that, yeah, that guy knows what's up, he gets fucking pissed and he just takes off.

Speaker: So now we cut to the delivery driver shows up, obviously immediately after, and he finds Yarrim is hunched over. He's in pain and he's asking for an ambulance.

Speaker: So the delivery driver gets him you know to the hospital. Rumor gets out immediately. So cute beta doctor, he, oops, wait, I'm skipping apart.

Speaker: Yeah, so he he tells Chung Ho that Yerim's been rushed to the hospital. Chung Ho immediately feels terrible because he was just with him and he wasn't even paying attention to enough him enough to know he wasn't doing okay.

Speaker: um So the doctor at the hospital tells Yerim that his hormones are unbalanced and that from now on he's going to constantly go into heat. He's going to experience extreme pain.

Speaker: He will most likely be having fertility issues and it's going to be so bad that he will likely have to retire. Also, we need to note that Yerim stinks. This boy is not just smelling of normal pheromones. He stinks more than your normal omega at this point.

Speaker: And apparently this is going to happen all the time, not just like a normal cycle. um So like said, Chungho finds out where he is. I was like, oh, poor baby.

Speaker: You know, he went from like nothing to just everything crashing down all at once. Like like stream. Yeah. Yeah. Now he's like finally found someone and Yeah. Anyways, so Chung Ho calls him. he tells him he's outside the hospital. and He's going to come up.

Speaker: Yerim just absolutely freaks out. He tries to go run and hide in the hospital. um He runs into the delivery driver. hes This is a homie. So he actually, he like tells him like, hey, I think you should talk to Chung Ho. However, he's his friend. So he still tries to help him hide. However, Chung Ho immediately comes and finds him.

Speaker: And like the second he sees him, he's just overcome by the smell. He first says something like he thinks it's another Omega. And then he I think he kind of realizes where it's coming from.

Speaker: And he's just like immediately so sick. He's kind of in and out of it. He's like borderline. Seems like he's about to black out. So we get another flashback, of course. That's what happens when he's, you know, being affected by pheromones and basically gives like more details. So when he was a teenager, his very first time he went into rut.

Speaker: He was out in public. It was nighttime and he got attacked by a really scary Omega. I've never seen anything like this. Looks like the freaking like ring or something. It's yeah, a weird ass Omega with long, scary hair. I think they had scissors or a knife or something.

Speaker: I don't quite understand what was going on. They were in heat and they were trying to attack him, i guess. Maybe they were already mentally unwell and then them being in heat and him being in a rut. I don't know. But he like,

Speaker: got a nosebleed. He absolutely freaked out. He passed out. And like, yeah, he was just a teenager. So that's where like the real trauma came from. we kind of got before that he was just kind of having this issue.

Speaker: But um yeah, that's why it's so bad and why he immediately goes into this blackout nosebleed situation, I guess. um,

Speaker: so um

Speaker: so they are still together. um he didn't actually black out. Yerim tells him immediately that his pheromones smell now and he won't give of any use to him anymore. um Changho is like, sort like passing out, feeling bad, but he is holding onto Yerim and he tells him like,

Speaker: He's always hated being an alpha and he's felt that it's only brought him bad things in his life, except for Yarrim. That's the only good thing that it brought him. um He hugs him. He tells him he likes him and then he immediately passes out.

Speaker: um So we got our confession out of him. said He's in the hospital, passes out. So of course, when he comes to he gets a text from Yarrim that says they should stop seeing each other.

Speaker: and Yairim won't answer his calls.

Speaker: All right, we are almost done with season one. Season one has more details, so season two will go faster, I promise. um So Chang-ho goes looking for Yairim because he won't answer his calls. um He does find him. It's raining.

Speaker: um He looks terrible. Chang-ho asks him, like, how can I convince you that I'm not trying to use you anymore? i don't just need you for your pheromones. Like, I really like you.

Speaker: And this is when Yarim says, I'm the one that's been using you this whole time. um The moment I met you, i knew that you were a lonely person deprived of love. um i knew that you were vulnerable and that you, you know, basically you needed me.

Speaker: and that's why I wanted you because you couldn't just leave me easily like everyone else has. um Shangho says he doesn't care. he just wants to get to know him. That's all he wants.

Speaker: Yerim tries to leave. Changho's starting to look a little a little different already. And so he grabs him, which is not really in character. um and then we see his eyes go dead.

Speaker: And Changho Yerim down. It's obvious that he's going into rut. He's not in his right mind. They somehow end up upstairs. um Changho just will not stop. He's going to town on Yerim.

Speaker: He's fucking him. He's, yeah, Rim doesn't seem to be saying no or anything. I don't quite know how they got from point A to point B. But yeah, Chung Ho's like not in his mind, but he's asking questions like, did you ask me out just because you needed someone in your life? Do you even like me? His nose starts bleeding. um He is being really affected by the pheromones. However, his body doesn't care. if he just keeps going. Yeah, Rim does say that, yes, he does like him.

Speaker: And they both start fucking like crazy. They're going nuts. Both of them are totally out of control. um And while fucking, Yairim tells him to come inside me.

Speaker: And our boy gets knotted. While he's being knotted, Changho asks if he can imprint. And he says, i will love you forever. Yairim seems into it for the moment. And then suddenly he screams no, he covers his neck.

Speaker: And then it flashes to Changho waking up all alone. And the news, well not immediately, but right after the news amount announces that Yarim has retired right before the Olympics.

Speaker: And that's where season one ends. um Yeah, so I guess I'll just go straight into season two. Crazy thing happens, all of a sudden, magically, season two is in color.

Speaker: um It goes from nothing black and white, which a lot of people are put off from the first season for that reason. Do not be because the second it gets color, it's like beautiful. I love this art so much. The art seems to improve a little bit. Plus the color is just beautiful.

Speaker: was surprised for a manhwa too. because ive know I've never had up black a black and white manhwa. I mean, BJ Alex. but oh that's true. That's true. And then BJ Alex like never went full color. It just kind of would have parts of the chapters be color. And I think some of the side stories were in color. Yeah. So I guess it's happened before.

Speaker: I'm sure, you know, if we get a comment section down below, no, if a comment section is going on, people will probably name other ones where it's happened. But yeah, this is the wonderful the first one I've seen where went from all black and white to just straight up full color.

Speaker: I mean, I hope it's just because there was support. This is beautiful. Yeah, know I love the art in this one. It's so nice. Yeah, so we find Yarrim has beautiful dark purple hair. um Chungho has silver, shiny, pretty hair.

Speaker: They look less like Bakugo and Deku now. and So yeah, season two starts two months later. um There's rumors all over TV going around that Urim has retired from skating because he's pregnant and it's a lot of people making assumptions. You know, they're just like, why else would an Omega leave? People are talking shit on Omegas saying like, you know, they shouldn't be athletes because they always just give in and get pregnant and stuff.

Speaker: um However, even though it's kind of like, we know that's not technically why he left. He was already told to retire because of his hormones. But we could do cut to him. He's in an apartment somewhere. He's throwing up.

Speaker: He's eating sweets. And he tells his tummy, I'm glad that I have you and that we have each other. So our little boy is pregnant. Sorry, my cup keeps getting stuck. Sorry.

Speaker: You know, it's his baby. He's eating sweets. Yep. Like, this boy has never liked sweets at all in his life, and now he is... just eating sweets going crazy with them um so we cut to chung he's overworking at the pool his condition is terrible he looks bad he's trying so hard he's working out really hard he is buffer i don't know if it's just because they know i mean i think it's mix of they change the artwork up a bit but he's also like working out in the gym a lot so he looks fucking huge and ripped but his time still suck he still looks like shit overall um

Speaker: They are trying to get him to use blockers again. um Like basically they're saying, hey, use them while you're training. And then once you have to go into trials, like at least you can get off of them. He refuses to touch the blockers at this point.

Speaker: um So then we cut to Yarrim. He goes into a sweet shop. Someone stops him. First, they're being nice. Like, oh, I'm a big fan. But then they're like, hey, are you pregnant? And...

Speaker: um They say it's like in a rude way, though. They're like, you know, i hope it's not true because I really looked up to you or something like that. and So he feels shitty. He just runs away. um He's feeling sad thoughts. He thinks that he and his baby aren't accepted anywhere.

Speaker: um He then apologizes to the baby and um says he'll never have bad thoughts about the baby. um He goes to get an ultrasound after that. You know, they're saying that the baby's looking good and everything. And he kind of has a moment. So it's just kind of important that we think I'm happy we talked about his character in this way.

Speaker: You know, he never asks for things for himself. He never, wants help. He never wants to concern people. So this isn't something he'd normally do, but he kind of builds himself up to it. And he asks like, you know, Hey, will my condition with my pheromones, is that going affect the baby? Will it, you know, hurt the baby's growth and all of that. And it's kind of a cute moment. Cause they don't even like, they you know, we don't get the doctor's answer. It was more of like just his, his first time standing up for himself and his health.

Speaker: um But you know, he's doing it for his baby. and Let's see. So, Somehow Chung Ho ends up talking with the delivery driver. You know, they've always had weird blood between them. Um, before.

Speaker: yeah sorry. Um, I don't even know what they're talking about. I think that Chung Ho's, oh, he's asking me, you know, the driver, if he knows where Yerim is, he won't tell him anything. They actually get into a fight and he knocks the helmet off of the guy. We don't get a good shot, but we do kind of see, it looks like there might be something going on on his face, like a scar or something.

Speaker: Not a great shot then. Really, I just bring this up because I like the helmet guy so much. um However, after Changho hits him, I don't know if he found new respect or he just realized how much Changho cares about Yurim.

Speaker: um The helmet guy does say that he'll find Yurim for him. um So then we go back to sweet shops again. Rem is spending all his fucking time in these sweet shops. um In the sweet shops, people are just talking shit about him.

Speaker: Like, that's he can't go anywhere without hearing people talking shit about these Omegas getting pregnant. And then randomly in this sweet shop, Chung Ho shows up. He immediately grabs Yorim. He hugs him.

Speaker: He tells him he's never going to lose him again because he's going to pay closer attention to him this time. um Surprisingly, Yorim looks very nervous in that, but he sits down and they eat sweets together. This time it's a change of change of situation. Yarem is going nuts eating all these sweets and Changho's like, no, I'm good.

Speaker: um and then finally Changho asks him like, hey, are you eating so much because of the baby? And Yarem tries. He's like, that's a rumor. You know, he tries quick for a moment to deny that he's pregnant.

Speaker: When he sees that he's not buying it, he then immediately just gets into like, well, it it might not be yours. And so Changho says like, did you know that alphas know things about their omegas and Yorim's like no I didn't know that so he's like yeah so I know that that baby's mine um

Speaker: Yorim's response to that yeah yeah he kind of says it in a weird way like you're lying but obviously like he knows he's also not dumb like he nodded him now he's pregnant um So Yerim runs to the bathroom, starts throwing up.

Speaker: Chungho, you know, comes into the bathroom. And Yerim, even though he's the one throwing up, he's like, are you okay? Can you handle my pheromones? Like, I know they smell really bad. And Chungho's honest. He's like, yeah, the smell is uncomfortable, but I'm okay.

Speaker: And as an alpha, I also know that you are okay for me. And very so... They go back to the apartment and they immediately start fucking.

Speaker: we immediately get to see already. He's only a few months in. He's got a little tiny baby bump. It's super cute. um While they're making love, they talk about how they miss each other, which is, for me, was kind of surprise.

Speaker: um That, like, Yarrim just couldn't, basically said, you know, he didn't want to see Chungho again, but just seeing him now, like, he... he missed him so much. He has to be with him.

Speaker: And they immediately move back to Seoul together. um they move into, it's, Chung Ho just learns for the first time that Yarim has like multiple apartments and stuff. I think sometimes we forget that this little fucker is loaded.

Speaker: um So they're in the apartment together and Yerim asks about, you know, his pheromones. And he's really surprised because Chung Ho seems like not just like he's dealing.

Speaker: He seems totally fine. um So Chung Ho says, oh, turns out it was all psychological. I went to therapy. It's good. He's like, and plus, like, we're family now. So maybe I feel more relaxed.

Speaker: Still seems like kind of weird. He went from being uncomfortable to being totally cool. um They start making out.

Speaker: Yeah, it's been about right? Yeah, think it's been about two months. So yeah, he's ah made leaps and bounds that amount of time. I mean, I saw a lot of him at the gym.

Speaker: saw him at the gym more than saw him at therapy, but okay. um Anyways, they're making out and stuff. And this is where we got to have the obligatory starts playing with his nipples. And he's talking about how it's crazy that there's go to be milk coming out of these nipples.

Speaker: It's kind of interesting because I feel like they haven't really talked about the baby. They've obviously acknowledged the baby, but they haven't actually had like a discussion about the baby actually existing.

Speaker: um So then as they're living together, ah Changho starts realizing that it's a bigger issue than he realized that Yerim will simply not rely on others at all.

Speaker: He's doing everything by himself. Changho's telling him like, hey, just don't go to the store. Don't do this. Let me do these things for him. And he's kind of being like, okay. And then he goes and does those things anyways. He's gone. He went to doctor's appointments for the baby without telling Changho about it. And because he's like, oh I didn't want to burden you. I didn't want to bother you with it. um He goes to the grocery store.

Speaker: And then finally, Chung Ho gets really upset. And, you know, he's like, hey, like, I need you to rely on me. Like, you can't. We're a team now. Like, I need to take care of you. And Rim is like, okay, like he says, he understands. He promises he won't run away again.

Speaker: you know, he's here to stay. They immediately go to bed. This little shit wakes up hungry and in the middle of the night immediately goes out for cake. He goes out for cake in the middle of the night all by himself after he just said he's not going to run away and he's going to do a better job because he doesn't want to wake him up because it's his fault. He's not sleeping well.

Speaker: So he's going from store to store trying to find a particular cake. He cannot find it. He's been gone for hours and then he passes out, of course. um And he someone picks him up. He goes to emergency.

Speaker: He wakes up in the hospital. Chung Ho is already there. And this is where we get the moment. I always love this moment in a BL. Chung Ho, our big strong top. He's been so serious. He is crying his eyes out.

Speaker: He's vulnerable. um And he's saying, you know, he's just crying because Yerim doesn't depend on him and he just wants him to depend on him. um Yerim apologizes. And then we find out Chung Ho is feeling a lot of guilt because he feels like he's you know, Yarrim's in pain and he's feeling like he's ruined his whole life. He's ruined his body.

Speaker: You know, he's taken away skating, the thing that he loved. So he's feeling lots of guilt. All right. now just of one of my favorite moments, you know, they go back to life together, trying to make things work.

Speaker: Moment I just loved is Yarrim's belly is getting so big. we don't always even get bellies in BL and he's, he's got one of the bigger ones I've seen. um He looks very cute. um They start making out in the apartment. They start getting handsy. Chang Ho's hands are, you know, all over the bottom of his belly.

Speaker: And then this is the first time they get baby kicks. And this is just one of my favorite scenes ever because both of their faces just go blank. And there is like straight up like alien, like the black Xenomorph alien, chibi of that. And that's where both their brains went. And they're like, there's an alien side of his body.

Speaker: However, Chung Ho, who was super, super turned on and in the mood, is all of a sudden just like, i need to go running. And Yurim's like, uh, you just went running and you took a shower. He's like yeah, I need to go running.

Speaker: So he leaves and goes for a run. At this point, Yurim looks down at his belly and in nicer words, he accuses the baby of being a little cock blocker. Um...

Speaker: Another fun event is that Chong Ho is just looking around the fridge looking for something to eat. He's like, why does Yer Rim still have this old ass snowflake macaron? And he fucking eats the macaron. He eats the snowflake macaron.

Speaker: Yer Rim immediately sees he is distraught. He loses. He just absolutely loses it and is so upset about the macaron. Um... Changho's like, i don't get it. It was just a macaron, but okay. But it's also obvious that Yarim's hormones are all over the place. He's, yeah.

Speaker: So now we have a really fun scene. um i remember so i I was reading this like live as it was updating, and I remembered when this chapter happened, and a lot of people were real excited about it.

Speaker: do you do you think you know i you know where I'm going?

Speaker: I'm still stuck on the macaron because I remember I thought that was super sweet. That was their first date. Right? No, I would be upset too. I get the sentiment. um Yeah. But no. All right. Is this a stretching one?

Speaker: o um i mean, i guess that's part of it All right. Well, because i was like i'm watching I was reading this live too. yeah Yeah. Like I said, thats you know, I was already reading it. I just remember like they're being so everyone losing their shit.

Speaker: Anyway, so it starts off, Yarem is um feeling very sex deprived. He's in bed, or he's on the bed, and he's thinking about how the baby's always interrupting them, and they haven't. So I think he said they've only had actual sex, like, that first time.

Speaker: that's been a while. going So he starts fingering himself. He's thinking about Chung Ho. And then all of a sudden there are two Changhos we get a threesome.

Speaker: It's in his, well it's even in his mind. He's fallen asleep. He's having a dream, but we get this threesome and it actually gets super wild. um

Speaker: Yeah, so like he's fucking both of them. They're both doing everything to him. He's loving it. He's like, oh my gosh, what? And then one of them says, um i don't know exactly how he says it but basically says double double penetration is going to feel just like being knotted.

Speaker: So in his dream, this little guy gets double penetrated by two of his boyfriend. um And then when he wakes up from this dream, Chong Ho is there next to him asleep in the bed.

Speaker: So his brain is immediately like, didn't I fall asleep with my pants down? Like, you know, he fell asleep touching himself. but He looks down, his pants are on. He's like, okay, everything's fine. While he's looking down, seeing that his own pants are on, he can see that Chong Ho is very asleep, is hard.

Speaker: So he can't help himself. He starts rubbing on him a little bit. starts rubbing on him a lot. He fully gets on top of him. he takes his pants off and is basically fucking him while he's sleeping.

Speaker: um And of course, Chung Ho wakes up. And then we get to see his side of the story. He had come home that night. he found Yarim asleep with his pants down.

Speaker: Kind of a mess. We got slick everywhere. um He politely cleaned him up, put him to bed, and then he went in the shower and he jerked off five times. So that's where he's coming from. So he wakes up to Yarim on top of him, almost fucking him, except that his pants are on.

Speaker: So then they start actually fucking um It does turn out that Yerim had gone into heat, which is kind of crazy for, you know, being pregnant. But he's got crazy pheromones going on.

Speaker: um He's, of course, you know, not quite in his right mind. So he calls Chungho honey. Chungho gets really into that.

Speaker: And yeah, that was a legendary, legendary sex scene. Can I just say something real quick? Of course you can. i hear Okay, I totally forgot about the whole two Chung Ho's double penetration. Because you want to know what went more viral, at least on my feed?

Speaker: Was Yerim stretching and Chung Ho helping him. Yeah, okay, we're about to get to that part. For some reason, that was a big deal, too. Yeah, that was bigger than the whole double penetrates. That was when I like, oh yeah the stretching. Okay, I mean, in like, I was getting double penetration because, you know, that's not allowed on Instagram. That's a rarity. I remember everyone freaking out about the threesome and I was just hearing threes. And I remember, like, first I just heard threesome and I was like, how is there a threesome? What? Where?

Speaker: it was It was beautiful. you know Anyway, so the next scene, not the next scene, but the next one I want to talk about starts with Yerim stretching.

Speaker: He's just... Stretching himself, looking like a cute little skater. However, he's got his big belly and he's talking about how his body feels heavier. But the doctor said it's fine that he does stretching.

Speaker: i think this part's just so cute because Chong Ho pinches his butt and thinks about how, you know, Yarrim's putting on weight and he likes chubby Yarrim. And I just thought that was so cute. um So then he starts helping him stretch. He's, you know, got his legs folding them over and stuff. It's actually just a very cute scene.

Speaker: However, all of a sudden, Yao Rim is like, what's burning? And Chang Ho's like, what do you mean what's burning? And he's like, something's burning. Do you not smell that? And they run into the kitchen and the rice or whatever it was they were cooking has just totally burnt.

Speaker: The whole kitchen's full of smoke and it stinks. And just Yao Rim's kind of just... little like, okay, that's weird that Changho didn't smell that. But okay.

Speaker: Weird, but okay. um So then they decide to go on vacation. They go to vacation at the beach. This part's just really cute. and They just, you know, they both had really bad childhoods in that. So they discuss that as their first time going to the beach.

Speaker: um They look so cute. Yairim's in a big old sun hat and everything. um And then again, they're walking along the pier and Omega or someone runs by them. And Yairim is like, do you smell that?

Speaker: And again, Chang-ho's like, no smell what? And Yarim's like, that's an omega. There's something wrong with them. And then they watch her fall and she passes out. um They get her to a hospital and it turns out that she was pregnant. So Yarim was able to smell that she was pregnant.

Speaker: So I guess pregnant omegas give off a really strong, different scent. um They meet her husband. He's really sweet and stuff. And I think it kind of makes them think about themselves in that. um so I guess it is it is still on their vacation. um Chung Ho expresses that he feels really guilty that Yarim had to give up skating.

Speaker: He feels it's his fault. Yarim's kind of like, why are you being so negative? um Who says I'm totally giving up skating, you know, and um I'm going to get better and I'm going to return to it one day.

Speaker: um So that makes Chung Ho feel really happy. So Chung Ho pulls out a gift. Do you remember what the gift is?

Speaker: Is it the macro? It sure is. He took cooking classes. We find out Chung Ho took cooking classes. It's actually a very cute picture because it's obviously little beta or omega women are teaching this class. And i don't know if I really talked about this. Chung Ho is fucking huge. He is a gigantic man.

Speaker: I actually missed something. He's helping Yarrim stretch. Yeah, like he's so much bigger than him. This actually kind of surprised me. I believe in the beginning, they actually mentioned that Yarrim is tall.

Speaker: And I'm like, he's what now? Wait, is he tall? Yeah, he's... And like, if you do look at him compared to... I mean, just like, not really a lot of aren't really Are there any other Omegas? There really aren't Omegas, but if you like look at him like next to like especially the female Betas and stuff, he's he's definitely taller than the female Betas.

Speaker: I don't know where he is height-wise with the female Betas, but yeah. So he's actually tall. We have no idea because Chung Ho is fucking huge. Yeah, I thought Yerom was like a typical small...

Speaker: twinkie bottom yeah i mean he's twinkie he's thin he's that but he's tall apparently but he's not short and they he kind of needed that for skating so makes sense so anyways like i said i just love this picture where you just see giant chung ho taking cooking classes from these teeny tiny little women Betas or omegas. These were not alphas for sure. So he took the to class. He made the macaron and he made like a little snowflake on it. um He actually looked into the one that he ate and it was like a special edition one that you can't get anymore.

Speaker: So he made his own. Of course, this like absolutely touched Yerim's little heart because that is so sentimental and sweet. And then Chungho also pulls out two rings.

Speaker: um Yerim says that he's really scared of putting his heavy burden on to Chong Ho, and it's going to be his responsibility too, but that he wants to trust Chong Ho.

Speaker: So he accepts the rings. What happens after accepting the rings? They fuck, because of course they do.

Speaker: um While they're doing it, for a moment, Yerim actually kind of he kind of gestures to his neck, and he seems to be giving the go-ahead Yerim. Chung Ho to mark him.

Speaker: Chung Ho goes in to mark him. And then all of a sudden he's just, this isn't a serious one like before. of sudden he's just like, wait. And he throws his head back and he fully, the back of his head just slams into Chung Ho's face. um We had a nice little head bonk there.

Speaker: um so it was obviously more lighthearted than the first time he held his neck and screamed, no, no, no. And he told Chung Ho that he wants to be marked, but he wants to wait until Chung Ho wins the gold.

Speaker: Chung Ho says something like, what if I don't? And he's like, no, I believe in you. Like, it's going to happen. Yeah, so from there, it goes back and they're filling out their marriage form.

Speaker: um Super cute one. I kind of didn't talk about this before, but like I mentioned, I love Yarrim's coach. Yeah. I'm actually not sure if she's a beta or an alpha. I believe she's a beta, but um so she was, she sent him flowers when he was pregnant, when the whole world was telling him that he was a disgrace and you know, baby was a disgrace and all that. um She sent him flowers and said like, congratulations on your blessing.

Speaker: And so he just kind of realized that she was an important important person in his life when he thought no one else cared about him. So he asked her to be the witness just on their paperwork. And she was really touched by that. It was really sweet.

Speaker: um So then didn't get into this. It's kind of been mentioned a few times that there may or may not be a stalker following Yarram around and who may or may not know where he lives. Um,

Speaker: But yeah, Rim goes outside his house and by himself and the stalker does show up. The stalker scares him immediately. Chung Ho shows up. Um, he, of course he, um, I think he, the stalker had been taking pictures. So Chung Ho tells him like, you know, you better delete those pictures and stuff.

Speaker: Um, and then the stalker shoves Chung He, you know, just moves over a little bit, but it ends up shoving. Yeah. Rim. So he falls over. um Yarim starts like freaking out. He's like, I think something's wrong with my belly. I don't think it's like, I think my baby's not okay. Changho just immediately calms him down. He starts giving him pheromones and then the baby does little baby kicks. So Yarim does feel better.

Speaker: um So he still goes to the hospital. Everything's fine. He comes home. Yarim's resting. And then while he's resting, he kind of just sees Changho's bag is open and he feels curious. So he goes and peeks inside the bag.

Speaker: Now we cut to Chang Ho and the doctor calls Chang Ho and he's like, hey, like I talked to Yerim earlier. he seemed like he didn't know what was up.

Speaker: You haven't told him that you're taking the blockers again, that you're back on suppressants. And Chang Ho is just like, i'm I'm going to tell him like I haven't yet gotten the chance yet, but I promise I'm going to tell him.

Speaker: um So yeah, it turns out Yerim found the pheromone blockers. He was very disturbed by it. um So he actually takes them and hides them for a little bit until he finally does confront Chongho about the suppressants.

Speaker: And Chongho has to admit he quit swimming. He hasn't been swimming this whole time ever since the day they got back together. Yerim is really upset. He's like, I'm an athlete. Like I'm sensitive about this kind of stuff.

Speaker: He throws the pills, but then he's like, this is all my fault. All I do is burden everyone. Like you gave up swimming for me and you didn't even tell me about it. um Just sweet up so we know. So Chong Ho has been so he, I guess, is trying to become a coach instead. So he hasn't been competitive swimming, but he's like going to classes to try to get a certification. So that was kind of his little thing. But yeah, Yerim was just like, no, like that's not OK. Like you can't give up your dreams for me.

Speaker: he immediately says he wants to break up. And he packs up his bags and he takes off. Yeah, Rim, he's very pregnant, packs his things and goes. And he's good at doing this. He disappears. We actually go into a pretty long gloom and doom arc.

Speaker: It's a lot of people talking to Chong Ho. um Coaches and things are trying to encourage him. um He can't figure out what he should have done differently, but he's not really pursuing too hard.

Speaker: He does ask because the delivery driver helped him before. he asks him help again. the delivery driver won't this time. And he basically kind of says, like, you should know what you've done wrong.

Speaker: Chung Ho doesn't really know. it is kind of he's kind of like, what was I supposed to do? Like, if I chose swimming, I can't be around him to be. And he's like, I would always choose him. Like, I'm always going to choose your rim over.

Speaker: Swimming. um Again, just because I like Helmet Guy so much, this is actually where we do find out that he himself was a skater, an ice skater. And he looked up Yerim. That's why he really respects him.

Speaker: And he got into an accident. I don't know if he said it was a car accident or what it was. um And that's why he had to stop skating. And that's why he still just like supports Yerim so much. Um, so quite a bit of time goes by and then something very surprising happens.

Speaker: We see the nationals, the swimming nationals are going on and Chang Ho shows up. He doesn't just show up. He shows up with a fresh haircut. His hair is like super short, but it looks real good. He is looking like a whole new man. Um, so obviously if he's at nationals, it means he has not been taking blockers. He has just been working by himself, I guess.

Speaker: Um, so the delivery driver goes, he does know, I think he, so I don't even think Yairim knew he knew where he was because he like was letting him stay private, but he immediately goes and he gets Yairim and he tells him like, Changho's at the nationals. You need to go see him.

Speaker: And just for fun, for whatever reason, this is the moment Helmut takes his head ah his helmet off for the first time. And we finally get to see him. I feel like it's predictable. He's beautiful. He's got red eyes, beautiful face. He does have a huge ass scar running down his face.

Speaker: I guess he keeps the helmet on because he's ashamed of that. But of course, we all know it just makes him hotter. Anyways, I love that guy. The mystery. ah but Yep, the mystery this whole time. He's gone this whole time with the helmet on We don't know, like, did he like Yerim? Like, why is he hanging around? i really think he does just respect him.

Speaker: um So, he course, he gets on his motorcycle. He takes him to the trials. Yerim obviously doesn't want to cause a scene, so he tries to hide Yerim. So Chang Ho, I believe, so he, you know, gets on the thing, on the thing, again, me with my sports, he gets on the little swimmy box.

Speaker: And that's when he like so smells something. He's like, okay, but he gets in, he does his little swimmy swim. And then Yerim's trying to hide. And of course Chang Ho just immediately finds him.

Speaker: um He tells him that he, you know, young or that Yerim is the motive. What is it? Oh, um, oh Sorry, I'm losing my words here. This is a beautiful moment. So Chung Ho tells Yurim, like, I was been motivated by your very existence. You're what kept me going.

Speaker: um He asked him, will you please be with me? Because I really, truly do need you. So it's really sweet because he just actually needs him. Not for his pheromones, not for anything he can give him, but he just needs him.

Speaker: Yerim is so happy that he's gone back to swimming, that he like, that's the first thing in his mind. So he's like, all of his doubts and everything left him because he's just happy he's swimming and that he did it on his own. So he does admit though that he was scared, that he'd never see him again. he didn't actually want to leave and he didn't want to end up alone.

Speaker: And then he does what Omegas do, what he's done many times. He passes out. So...

Speaker: Knowing Omega versus, do you know what comes next after this time of passing Offscreen magic? Just a little offscreen magic happens. So he wakes up. He's in the hospital.

Speaker: And super cliche, but sorry, I love it. Immediately, he looks down and so freaks out. Where's my baby? Where's my baby gone? um And, of course, they tell him, you have a beautiful, healthy baby boy.

Speaker: And we get to see the baby. And it is true. This is you can chime in here to the most beautiful little Omegaverse baby ever. Cutest fucking baby. oh So fucking cute. This is one of my favorite things, and this comes up a lot in the side stories, is, um so, this little, where am I, this must be?

Speaker: Oh yeah, so this little baby, he looks just like Yarrim. He's got light purple hair. His hair's like light. he He's a little bit of a mix, but he definitely looks like Yarrim. He's got purple eyes.

Speaker: Cute as fucking baby. They make the comment, he's obviously Yarrim's little clone. And then the first thing Yarrim says is, I think he takes after you, Changho. And Changho's like, yeah, okay.

Speaker: it Very cute idea. Right. So cute. um And then Chung Ho tells him that when he was on the swimming block and he got up there and he smelled Yarim, he said it was the first time in his whole life he was happy he was able to smell omega pheromones.

Speaker: um And so that's, you know, why he was able, he did his little race and then he, you know, went, you know, and he was able to go find him because of that. um So then just,

Speaker: An interesting scene, especially for this, we're coming up on the end here. Ya-Rim's trying really hard to produce milk. They do say it's hard for male omegas, and especially because, you know, he has pheromone issues in that.

Speaker: um Chung-Ho's, like, putting ointments on him and telling him, like, it's okay, we've got formula, you know, you you don't have to. then, of course, that's when he starts lactating. And, again, i guess another cliche, can we guess what Chung-Ho does as his little baby mama starts lactating?

Speaker: Listen, he got taste of that. Those mommy milkers. Yep. He gives a little little lick lick. Gotta try it out, I guess. He gets fed more than their baby.

Speaker: Right? he There was some comment about he was worried that he drank it all for the baby, but the baby got some. It's fine. um All right. And then in that moment, while he's drinking that milk, they both exchange, I love yous. It's very sweet and beautiful. They're a little family.

Speaker: Now we cut again to one year later. Everything's changed. People are in support of the couple. Everyone loves them. They love this famous story that Chung Ho ran straight out of the water. And I don't think we knew this yet. He ran straight out of water after winning first place um because his baby was born. And then everyone loves the baby. He's a celebrity baby and they think he's so cute. And a lot of people are having just more positive views in general on Omega athletes and things because they love this little family so much.

Speaker: um So we're, this is a year later, we're at the Olympics and Chung Ho wins the gold. This is all very quick for the reason we'll find out in a minute.

Speaker: um Right after winning the gold, The doctor is a homie. He's such a sweetheart. He's just immediately like, let me babysit the baby. I love the baby. The baby loves me. I got a babysit. But really, he's looking out for his homies. um So Changho and Yerim go find a room. um Changho, I guess I didn't say this when Changho, or sorry, when Yerim ran away, he left the ring, his the like engagement ring out on the table and Changho picked it up.

Speaker: So now, you know, we're over a year later and Changho has both rings. Yerim is shocked. He thought that the ring got lost and he'd never see it again. So he takes the ring back. They make love. It is implied that Yerim gets marked.

Speaker: And then they do say that Yerim returns to skating after two years. So happy ending. chun Which is really fucking hard. Yeah, so they said two years later, but we do get a little more of that. So that's the end. I actually thought it was a great ending. um I do love when, i don't know, they have a nice wrap up like that. However, it does then go into side stories.

Speaker: um i've So we'll probably comment on this as things come up. um I personally am very picky on how things are done. I love how this one was done. I feel the story had a really great ending. And then the side stories just kind of build on that. They don't add too much plot. They do add a little bit, but mostly it's just us getting to see our family being adorable.

Speaker: Um, so I'm not going to do this episode is running longer than we planned. We're almost done here. um I imagine these episodes where we do a full series will get longer. so it's fine. Right.

Speaker: Does it feel like 10 hours? No, not at all. I'm like, wow, I don't remember that part. Like, damn, I forgot. Yeah. Right. like Like I hope I didn't give like too much details, but I was trying to cut things out, but I just really love this series a lot. I, every moment felt so special.

Speaker: But yeah. So the side stories. So I think the story, the side stories were great. They do start back, they go back a year again. So it does fill in kind of things that were going on. Cause that ending was, it was rushed, but didn't feel rushed to me. It felt appropriate.

Speaker: You know, we got everything we needed and then it was just nice to find out that they both are succeeding again in their sports. But yeah, so we do go about a year. It about year the Yeah. Right? Well, yeah. When we get to other series, talk about it.

Speaker: Yeah. um So yeah, like I said, I'm only really going to about just a couple of my favorite side stories and moments in side stories. There's ah quite a bit of them. Like I said, it gives about a whole year or so amount of time. So it does go back to after the baby's born. Just kind of giving the overall story. Basically, we find out that Yerim had to stay in the hospital.

Speaker: and that he was gonna have to get surgery. He actually, his health wasn't doing too well after having the baby um because of his health issues. Okay, so the first story actually really upset me because he had to stay in the hospital for a couple weeks. Chung Ho had to take the baby home and take care of him on his own.

Speaker: And so when... um Oh, yeah, I guess we didn't say the baby's name is Ya it's gonna be like I've been calling him Yi Ho. Apparently, it's Ya So, sorry if I flop around on the name.

Speaker: It sounds less cute. And maybe I'm wrong. Tell me if I'm wrong. I looked up a few videos. They said it's the i pronounced more like, yeah. yeah Yeah. But I think it's a soft, yeah. yeah Anyways, so yahoo, yahoo.

Speaker: We have nothing to say in that. Sorry, yeeho sounds cuter. So sorry if I say yeeho. So the baby's name is yeeho, of course, like both parents. Very predictable. Who gives a fuck? It's adorable.

Speaker: Oh, another thing found interesting. Okay. I swore that I had read it. i did. No. Okay. I may have started it a very long time ago on other certain websites because i remember reading like comments and things. um However, I know at least For the second season and more, I was reading it live on Lezen.

Speaker: And so this was really weird. I remembered when the baby wasn't born, they were calling him Belle. And there's even a picture of a Belle. And I remember reading that on Lezen. But this time reading it, they were calling the baby Bubs.

Speaker: And i was like, did they change that? oh No, I swear it's Belle. Belle. There's even a picture of a Belle. But then this is the craziest part. Yeah. One line said Belle. So I feel like Lezen went back and changed it. I don't know why. if anyone listening knows why, please let me know.

Speaker: i can look it up. um Usually it's because Lezen messes something up. Which is cool. Yeah. i remember I even remember with Belle. Everyone's like, Belle?

Speaker: He's like, yeah, my Belle. And we're like okay. Yeah, and there's like a picture of a little Belle. I never understood why. Maybe this kind of pun or something. And Chung Ho's like reaction to him calling the baby Belle was he was like, oh is it a boy?

Speaker: i thought it meant like he thought Belle's like testicles or something. I don't know. And then Rym was kind of like, oh, that's not why. then he didn't say why. Then they had to change it to bubs. Except for the one line still said bell.

Speaker: Me neither. So I'm still going with Bell, but it doesn't matter. he's a little yahoo. um So anyways, back to what happened. so When Yerim finally comes home, the little baby won't let him touch him. And he cries and screams every time he touches him. And it like breaks my heart. It makes me really sad. um But anyway, after Yerim's doing everything he can to be able to touch the baby, he comes up with a whole little system where he can take out care of the baby without touching him. um But then Chung Ho kind of realizes that the baby's acting that way because of his own anxiety he had when Yerim was in the hospital and he was taking care of him. And so I think um that made the baby kind of scared and anxious when he came home.

Speaker: um But then um there's like a moment where still Chung Ho is like worried about Ya Rim leaving. But then he kind of has a moment where, oh, when Ya Rim like goes to crazy amounts, he has like a puppet and he has a pillow and he hass all this stuff to take care of the baby without touching him. And that commitment made Chung Ho like realize that he's not ever going to leave. And it made him feel relaxed.

Speaker: And so he just like was relaxed and put his head on Yerim and the little baby like sensed his him being relaxed. And so he reached up and touched his mommy's face and it was very, very cute.

Speaker: um There was another fun story where they just went camping um and they talk about like pet names. um Everyone's kind of thinks it's weird that they're they're now married. And they don't call each other pet names. They kind of drink a little bit while camping. And they start throwing around like honey and stuff. And they kind of start feeling certain ways when they're throwing these words around.

Speaker: um They go, everyone at the campsite is like obsessed with the baby. wants to take care of the baby. But they take the baby back to, don't know if they're in like a tent or like a trailer thing. But anyways, they've been drinking a bit. And yeah, Rim's like, well, what if I called you Hyung?

Speaker: And of course that just sends Chongho over the edge. the edge they have you like They have very quiet, discreet camping sex. um Someone does come and like is yelling through the door to like offer them some fruit and they just go quiet. And someone's like, no, leave them alone. like They're sleeping because of the baby.

Speaker: Anyways, we love a little outdoor sex. That one was fun. um Okay, so there's a couple of these I just have to talk. So, i mean, maybe I'm making this up in my brain. But so the adorable beta doctor, he's the baby's favorite. That's his favorite uncle. He babysits all the time. so there's one where he's babysitting and Helmut just happens to come by and he ends up helping him babysit.

Speaker: I'm not crazy, right? those There's something between those two. I want those. swore they were going to be a side couple. I thought they were going side couple too. There were little things throughout the story too, like really small. Like they barely had any run-ins, but like they had such a good energy. And I feel like they'd be so cute. It's like this bubbly outgoing beta. And in this mysterious, you know, Like alpha. Yeah. Like I would have loved that so much. And I, so this story, because it was early on in the side stories, was like, yes, it is going there. That's going to happen. um Another super fun side story is the jealous baby.

Speaker: um They're at like a little mommy and me type. Oh, that's my favorite one. Yeah. yeah And then another, I'm assuming Omega, she just needs to go to the bathroom. So she asked them to so watch her baby too. And they comment how this baby's younger than Yeho, but he's smaller than him, whatever. So i don't remember who held him first. Might've been Yerim. One of them was like holding this other baby. And this, and so Yerim,

Speaker: Yeho has been just the sweetest, cutest, easiest going baby ever. of a sudden his little face is mad and he was so pissed. So then they like, okay, traded. So they try to trade over the babies. No, he's so mad. He's grabbing both of his parents and he does not want them holding that fucking baby. And it was just adorable and funny.

Speaker: um There's then another whole chapter.

Speaker: for it no I was gonna say I would like to note going back from that first side story at this point their baby is obsessed with his mama so that just added fuel to the fire because it went from being avoided to being like I cannot like you can't go away yeah he immediately went from one to the other which I love because obviously like Yarim is just always wanting to be loved and needed so so happy his baby loves and needs him But yeah, so that's what made it just so cute and funny.

Speaker: But just the look on this baby's face. I'll see if we can throw up a picture of his face on this one. It's just hilarious. So yeah, so then we get a whole chapter about cock block baby. He was a cock blocker when he was in the womb. He's a cock blocker now. So this whole chapter, the parents are just trying to get together. And anytime they get close, the baby shows up.

Speaker: He cries. It's just his thing. I mean, he will just be sitting at the end of the bed staring. Of course, in the end, they finally do get to fuck and he sleeps through the night. But just that one's hilarious. Another super cute one is they go to like a water park and the baby's playing in the water and it's on his...

Speaker: This baby is just so fucking cute and they put him in these outfits. So even his little swimsuit, he has like a little bear hat on and stuff. It's literally a whole chapter about the baby being fucking adorable. um And then it turns out he loves the water. So yeah Rim does get a point for the baby being like Chong Ho. There's also very cute in the end, Chong Ho picks both of them up and he's just carrying them both through the water. And again, it's just cute seeing how giant he is with his tiny baby and his apparently tall partner.

Speaker: But yeah, okay, the one I need to talk about at most, and then we're almost done here. i think my favorite one Okay, so I'm not a very sensitive person. i do not cry easily. And this chapter made me get tears. Do you remember this?

Speaker: Okay, so this episode is, I think it's called Yeeho's Day, or they describe it as Yeeho's Day. this e The whole chapter is told from the baby's point of view. It's very adorable. It starts with him waking up and, you know...

Speaker: What he does, he does his stretches before his daddies wake up. We find out that in his little mind, he calls them big daddy and small daddy. And that is so fucking cute. He talks about his favorite things. um A lot of them, it's eating food, it's his favorite toys, all of that. Things you would think a baby's favorite things are.

Speaker: So all these cute, positive things. But then he talks about how sometimes small daddy goes to a corner and it makes him feel anxious. And we see Yerim, you know, he's taking care of the baby. And then all a he's like, oh i need to leave. And he goes to the bathroom to throw up. He's <unk>s been sick. He's doing his best to take care of the baby, but he's he's pretty sick. And the baby sees that.

Speaker: And then um so the baby's just watching him and he sees him. And, you know, he tells him, oh, it's OK. Like, you're worried about daddy. Like, daddy's going to be fine. And then this is the part, dude, if I choke up or anything, don't make fun of me. This is so dumb.

Speaker: But so the last little thought of this baby's little monologue, he says, all the worry in the world seems to melt away when small daddy gives his brightest smile. That's Yeho's favorite thing in the whole world.

Speaker: it was like So fucking cute. Anyways, that's it for that chapter. It's so So cute. Because going back to how like he never actually gave a genuine smile.

Speaker: even the baby was having issues like so they're like is our baby okay he's not smiling yep i was gonna include that one i did take it off my list just because so long but yeah there is a whole chapter where other things are going on in that one but yeah this side story where people are actually maybe i should have included that there was like a reality tv show it just felt like a lot going on that's kind of how they introduced their baby to the world um chung ho was on the reality show but anyways but people start commenting like Oh, I haven't seen him smile. Does he smile?

Speaker: and then they're like, yeah, he smiles, right? And then everyone's like wait, the baby hasn't smiled. And then, yeah, and it's in the end, um both parents realize that they're happy and they both smile. And that's when the baby smiles. And I thought that was, it's really cute. I do remember Yerim says like, it's his first time smiling. How's he doing it so well? And I thought that was sweet because both parents, you know, did not show emotions. We know that Yerim had a fake smile.

Speaker: Changho did not smile. was just really sweet, sweet moments. um So then I just have to bring it up um that there is a yet another chapter where the doctor and Helmut end up babysitting together again. There is definitely a chemistry there. I wish that that ship had sailed.

Speaker: um But this, okay, but so in the first one though, there's, Yeho was smaller. He was a little baby and he seemed just fine with helmet guy.

Speaker: And now he sees helmet guy and he's not happy. He does not want that guy there. The doctor's even like, what could you do to make a baby hold a grudge? And so helmet guy actually thinks it's that like, um yeah, Rim wasn't felt feeling well. So he kind of held him. And so he thinks the baby thinks he made his mommy sick.

Speaker: And so he's like, okay. But then the parents show up to get the baby and Chang Ho still fucking hates this guy Even though he's done so much for them, really. But he shows up and he has the grumpy face and then the baby has the exact same grumpy face. And they're like, oh, it's just learned from his father.

Speaker: um But yeah, oh so then I'm not goingnna talk about them, but there are now two theyre where they go do total AU side stories. Um... I'm not crazy about them personally because they are like fantasy and old timey and that. It's kind of cool. It's interesting. i often don't like AU side stories on things because they're just rushed. And so they're usually kind of just like a quick cliche story. However, I have to comment that the art is gorgeous. Like it's always been beautiful in the side stories. The art starts getting even better. Like their eyes get more detailed. And then when they're in these like fantasy crazy outfits, like,

Speaker: It's beautiful. Totally worth checking them out like just for the art itself. But yeah, that is it. Thanks for sticking with me. That was, i know, a long one. i hope everyone enjoyed that one.

Speaker: I mean this in the most respectful way You could tell this is one of your favorites. Okay. I i mean it in the most respectful way. um next it's going to be hard for me to talk like this much next week even though it's a longer series than this one well I'm excited because I'm happy that my first I got to have one that I love so much we're not always gonna love these and I like to see what energies we know whether we do or don't love them there's some I really disliked that I would like to bring to the table because I'm probably always gonna bring a strong energy i hope

Speaker: And so I'm almost excited for when that energy is not love. And like with this one, it was really fun listening because you could definitely hear it. And even though you had to cut stuff out, I don't even need to ask the question. Would you not?

Speaker: Which is good because we kind of had to power through. um Yeah. i think I think I might have mentioned this in our episode zero, but this was one of my first ones. um When I first started reading Omegaverse, I was reading like one shot mangas mostly. so this was the first one. One of the first ones where I was following it from really early on. It was definitely my first where I saw.

Speaker: pregnancy happen and then watch go through the pregnancy so I feel super connected the baby I did find out that it's also just legitimately one of the cutest fucking babies oh 100% but yeah I'm really happy I got to share that with everyone and yeah

Speaker: and yeah I remember i almost dropped it because of the black and white. And then kind of before the stretch scene around that, those few chapters, I fell behind. Okay. And then I got spoiled. So it was hard to pick it back up because you, you know, you're following it weekly and then you're like, well, yeah, I was gone for two weeks.

Speaker: I think, and I believe if you were following on the official lesson, US lesson, like I was, I believe it was behind the Korean. So I think the same with the threesome and with the stretching.

Speaker: I think I was seeing spoilers, I believe, weeks before. Yeah, from the Raws from Korean. Yeah. And I'm like, well, shit, there goes a surprise. And then when the baby comes I'm like, great. Yeah, I'd already seen the baby. And i was like, oh, the baby's so cute.

Speaker: But yeah. Worth it, though. Totally worth

Speaker: Anyways, any any final thoughts on that? No, it was fun listening back to also one of my favorites. Once again, this was definitely one of the first Omegaverse series that you know, I believe we both were like, okay, this is actually a genre that isn't just like a one-off kind of thingme Yeah, I think I was doing kind like out of it. Yeah, I think I was at first just kind of like, okay, I'm just reading some of these little one-offs for fun or whatever. And i was like, oh, wait, I'm actually enjoying this as much as I enjoy a lot of, you know, the other BLs I was reading. And actually, now i think about it, I think that in the beginning... Oh, i did I think I did say this, that I kind of thought it was a manga because of, like, the color.

Speaker: yes so Yeah, so maybe I think at that time it was an easy transition because I was... Most Omegaverse I was reading was manga. So I almost wonder if now didn't give it as much of a chance because of the black and white thing.

Speaker: However, I feel though also because one of my very first manhwas was BJ Alex. So I kind of know that, like, don't judge things on that. because sometimes, you know, really good series can come out of that.

Speaker: Definitely. that i think when they transitioned to colors, when it really took off. Yeah, I definitely did love the second season more than the first Yeah.

Speaker: Which is really nice that we got to see them in color because I would have, if I heard it was a Baku Deku Omegaverse. Right. yeah yeah Like, I'm sorry. I can't get that out my head.

Speaker: i was reading that in the comments. No offense to them. I mean, if you look at those black and white pictures, I do see where they're coming from. Especially there's like an interesting shape to Yarrim's hair. But I'm like,

Speaker: o I get it. Yeah, that fluffiness. I'm almost wondering if... I mean, I kind i get why they gave Chungho haircut. but I almost wonder if Pardo was to make him look less like Bakugo.

Speaker: I think it was just to show that he's like dedicated his life to swimming or whatever and he just looked more crisp and fresh with the shorter hair. but he really I really do dig his shorter hair. and like it was like a new beginning for him.

Speaker: It's kind of how I took it. Yeah, me too. Like, he's committing. Yeah, that's how I felt about it, too. But now he looks less like Bakugo. Yeah, and he just looked more like... And his hair wasn't even, like, long. He had pretty short hair, but he just looked more like like a punk ass didn't care about stuff. And then he looked, yeah, more dedicated and dedicated to swimming. And get a day he's like, I'm a daddy.

Speaker: yep he had to get his daddy haircut.
