All right, good, good. ah This is definitely a new one for both of us. I've read it for the first time. i never heard of it before.
Speaker: um i know i we said we're done with Love is an Illusion. We are. But reading The Queen... I really wanted to read something that was female alpha, male omega, and it just didn't scratch that itch. So i was like, maybe something else where it will.
Speaker: So I found literally the only other female alpha, male omega monroir I could find. Someone told me there was another one. I'll have to follow up with them because I could not find anything else.
Speaker: Dang, I was going say, there's another one? There's another one I know there's omega omega, but like. don't know. female alpha male omega that's my specific if anyone has one please let me know um i will as long as it's a comic i'll read it i'm not reading any novels for y'all so all right should we hop right into it then yeah what are we covering today all right so this story is called one night only okay okay Yeah, like I feel like I'd heard the title before, but I had no idea it was female alpha, male omega. I'll definitely be doing a lot of comparisons with the queen because there are so few in this genre.
Speaker: that um But yeah, I'm excited to tell you about this one because there were a lot of things about the universe that were new to me. Ooh. Yeah. Or different. New or different. Some things, there's one thing that's real interesting, so I'll have to get your opinion on that.
Speaker: Time to add to our 101. Right? No, we really need to do like 102 someday. Hey, I'm down. We're cooking. We're learning so much, so much so so so quickly.
Speaker: All right, so we get right into it. Our opening scene is a male Omega um is breaking up with his fiance, a female alpha of 18 years. They've been engaged for 18 years and he asks her to break their bond and call off their engagement right before the wedding.
Speaker: They were bonded. They, um, I don't know how much we get into it, but basically they were childhood friends, their families, both big business owners, you know, owners of big companies. So they were engaged as children. However,
Speaker: We find out he found love and she truly wishes him happiness. See, that's super sweet. Yeah, they were best friends. god they bonded. They were bonded. Yes.
Speaker: This is the thing we will definitely be discussing. Okay, I'll shut up now. Bonding is wild in this story. It's... I don't understand what it means. Anyways, but i thought that was interesting that immediately he said that they break their bond. And so media I was like, how do you just break a bond? That's all it.
Speaker: They just had to break a bond. They don't go into it. um But yeah, but her family is pissed. His family feels terrible. They're in their later 20s too when this happens. They probably make mid 20s. So they've been engaged a very long time. Yeah, her family is so mad. They're like yelling. His family is like, what can we do to make this up to you? Like, we are so sorry. we didn't raise him this way. All of this. But our main character, her name's Sia, she's chill.
Speaker: Like, she doesn't seem too bothered. Except she finds out that ah after breaking her bond, omega pheromones now make her sick to the point that she's actually allergic.
Speaker: Yeah. So we kind of find out that her whole life changes. She starts avoiding omegas. You know, she's running this big company. She's a big businesswoman. She's kind of getting famous for like being an Omega hater because she just cannot be around them.
Speaker: Um, he shows up again, her ex fiance. He comes to her two years later. He has a baby. He's really happy. Again, she legitimately seems happy for him. Um, um, so she's at a party, you know, just those big company parties she's there with, I started calling him Dr. Beta Bestie.
Speaker: He seemed to really fit the role of Beta Bestie. um, especially with him being her personal doctor. He's always there with her. We've kind of seen this before. His name's going to change eventually.
Speaker: But yeah, but anyways, he's telling her that she should try marking a new Omega in order to cure her symptoms. um While at the party, her ex shows up and she stops feeling sick immediately, which is interesting because he's probably bonded with someone else.
Speaker: They don't really get into it. But yeah, she goes and just starts chatting with him and she starts feeling better. um Her mother comes up and she yells at him. How dare you even be here? All of this. um She talks some shit on her own daughter. I don't remember exactly what she said, but the mom's a total bitch.
Speaker: And the ex-fiance actually stands up for her And the mom eventually leaves. And, you know, he's like, OK, I got to go. And she asks if she can just put her head on him for a few minutes. And first he's kind of like, well, they're in public. But he lets her.
Speaker: She just simply just a few seconds of putting her head on him and she feels better. And the moment he leaves, she feels totally sick again at this party. So she leaves and goes back to her hotel room um and almost right away, there's a knock at the door. She opens it and there's a very cute male Omega at the door and she doesn't feel sick.
Speaker: And he just immediately is straightforward. He tells her that he's a match for her, but he just wants to spend one night with her because he wants to make a baby and he does not want a relationship. Oh, he means business. Yup.
Speaker: oh I guess I do kind of just want to talk about cause this was interesting to me about the omegas versus alphas and stuff in this one. Okay. Looking at all the characters across the board, there are, I cannot look at these characters and say, that's omega, that's an omega, that's an alpha. Their sizes are all similar. fact,
Speaker: in fact know Our main character is a female alpha. Her ex-fiance and now this new Omega, both males, are slightly taller than her. Oh, wow. They have bigger eyes and cuter faces, but other than that, like you really can't tell. Because in the queen, she was taller.
Speaker: She was way taller than him, yeah. And she really wasn't even that much smaller than the male ome or alphas around her either. That's so interesting. In general, love is an illusion. like had huge size differences between all the alphas and the omegas.
Speaker: Even like you said, our alphas even had size differences. So yeah, I just thought that was neat in this and definitely kind of comes up later in some ways. um Anyway, so he explains to her that they, so we find out that she's on a website looking for a match basically.
Speaker: And he found out that they have a genetic compatibility of 83%. So in this world, you can straight up get your compatibility. Apparently, 83% is like insanely high, like stupid, unheard of soulmate levels.
Speaker: um He explains that he just wants a child, but that he doesn't want to go a donor a donor to a donor because I guess having a baby through a donor is rough on an omega's body. i assume because of what we've learned about, you know, when omegas are pregnant, it helps to have their alpha's pheromones around.
Speaker: etc. That makes sense because, sorry, not to interrupt, going back to Chowon. Chowon couldn't really get pregnant through donor. Yeah, yeah, had a hard time.
Speaker: Yeah, so this is really interesting. Yeah, so I guess it is an option, but it's just harder. So he doesn't want to have a rough time, so he straight up tells her he wants to have sex. um She agrees that she doesn't mind giving him a baby as long as he agrees to her marking him, marriage,
Speaker: And then she wants to divorce one year after the baby is born.
Speaker: Divorce, but no, but keep the bond or? We keep the bond. Well, we'll get more into the bond later. It's very strange. Basically, she wants to have some time where she has like the safety of a bond while she thinks she's going to get better. She thinks she can overcome like her okay quote unquote.
Speaker: um And she tells him like, you can have full custody. I'll pay you alimony. He's like, no, no, no, I don't need money. um i just want the baby. And they're like, hey, let's test our compatibility and see if this is really true before we sign any e contracts.
Speaker: And so they go at it right there in the hotel room. um So he actually already he knows from his research that she's about to go into rut. So she tells him or he tells her like, hey,
Speaker: You know, I'll do this. Just make sure you do not bite me no matter how much you want to. He asks if he can take the lead so that she doesn't lose control and bite him. um This is where things get real interesting. He goes down on her and as he goes down on her, she has a slit.
Speaker: And he starts doing some action on that slit and her lightsaber comes out of the slit. They show that? They show that. Like, okay, it's censored, unfortunately. But you can tell exactly what's going on.
Speaker: I've read enough GL to know what a censored slit looks like. Yeah. But um I feel like that's what was going on in the Queen, but they didn't straight up show that. Also censored, but they... She actually was mostly wearing clothes and stuff.
Speaker: And pretty much every time by the time her nethers came into it, she was like already hard and erect. So... This was new to me, just actually seeing it come on out, pop out and say hello.
Speaker: All right, so he kind of is, he's taking the lead. He loosens himself up. She's immediately starting to lose control. um Her eyes go red immediately. This is interesting. From here on out, her eyes always go red during sex.
Speaker: ah I don't think she's, I don't think I've actually seen her in rut. And her eyes just go red no matter what. She gets super into it. She loses control. She's being too rough. Her brain the whole time, all she can think about is biting him. She just wants to bite him so bad um to the point where toward the end, she's when she's to climax, she bites down on her own hand, starts bleeding, and then she immediately passes out.
Speaker: Okay, so she wakes up the next day and she's feeling great. Like she doesn't remember the last time she slept that well. She looks over at her hand. She sees that it's covered in little kid band-aids. He had but I guess he'd ordered but like from room service. That's all they had. So he put those on her in her sleep.
Speaker: um They both agree that they are compatible and they agree to sign the contract. So immediately he comes to her office so that they can get this contract signed and get things underway.
Speaker: This is where we meet her and I will be calling them this from now on her cousin lawyer secretary. She is her cousin, her lawyer and her secretary. nice they took care of it all in one character. and We don't have to learn a bunch of different people's names.
Speaker: She's a real cutie. We find out she's an alpha. I never would have guessed that she's an alpha. She's got like short, like pinkish hair. She's ah like, she almost dresses like kind of like pinup almost. She's a little cutie. Oh, wow.
Speaker: Yeah. But anyways, so the cousin lawyer secretary is like super excited about this guy showing up and our main character's like, yeah, okay, whatever. um She tells her she's so happy, but that our main character, Sia, that her mother is going to be furious.
Speaker: And Sia is kind of like, okay, And she doesn't explain to her why. So she's like, whatever. um We find out after that, they go straight. They take those papers straight to the registration office and they're married. Wow. Wow.
Speaker: So they, yep, business. Speaking of business, they go back to her place and they immediately have to start having sex. And already this is their first second time.
Speaker: Sia is already wondering if you can fall for someone within 24 hours. Um, but she just goes straight to town and according to their contract, she bites him.
Speaker: She keeps biting him. She bites him four times. Um, And then this part was cool even while, and this time she takes the lead a lot more, even while she is fucking him.
Speaker: wish it wasn't censored, but you can like see her lightsaber coming out of her lips still. Like while it's in him, it's coming out of her. So I wish I could see it uncensored.
Speaker: um Anyways, he's already he just afterwards says that he really hopes that he gets pregnant and they go at it again. The next morning they wake up. He's all happy and cute.
Speaker: I don't know if I've said his name is. So his name is Hyeon. um And so the next morning when they wake up, he's all happy to see her. And she immediately looks at him. She's already been on her phone and she asks if he's been lying to her.
Speaker: Both of their phones are absolutely blowing up with the headline that heartthrob He-Yan secretly married, you know, big business, second daughter, Sia. He's really shocked that she didn't know that he was a famous actor. Like, he's not trying to be humble. He's like, wait I really thought you knew. Like, everyone knows me. I'm famous.
Speaker: And then all of a sudden food she feels dumb and she realizes why everyone at the marriage office were, like, freaking out about them. and he showed up in, like, hat and glasses. And her own cousin's secretary lawyer was like, oh my god.
Speaker: So she's like, okay. um He's even kind of like, I'm sorry, like, if you want out of this deal, that's fine. She's like, nope, let's, you know, let's keep the deal going and you should probably move in immediately.
Speaker: um She also asks if they can have a wedding and if they can introduce their families to each other soon. He seems to get kind of sad or nervous or he has some kind of reaction just about the family part.
Speaker: Other than that, he seems totally cool with all of her stipulations to this marriage. um Later her mom shows up, her mom slaps her across the face. She tries explaining to her mom, she says, not in so many words that she did it for her, but she's basically like, he's exactly what you would want, except that he's in a career that you disapprove of.
Speaker: So why aren't you happy? Other than that, he's perfect on paper. you know, this is what you wanted for me. Um...
Speaker: She also, so I left a lot of these parts out. She hangs out with, like I said, I was calling him Beta Bestie, her doctor. However, we realized really soon that one, he's in love with her. Two, he's possessive and just not that great of a guy.
Speaker: Well, like, he's not horrible. He's just, he's jealous and all of that. Basically, he never confessed to her because he's a beta. And he's just kind of a brat about it. So they chat about whatever. I think they talk about her condition. And she says, you know, her condition is doing well. She tells him everything going on with his marriage, her marriage and that.
Speaker: um Once she's gone, he pulls up his phone, makes a call to someone And of course he does the whole, I want them, I want you to look into someone for me. And it just so happens to be, he's in front of a big old advertisement with, you know, our main Omega up on the board.
Speaker: um so because of the news breaking out like this, he yawned has to sneak into his apartment because his place is just covered in, and like, I actually couldn't tell if they were reporters. I think he thought they were reporters, but I think some of them were actually investigators that were, you know, sent to go looking into, into him. They're talking to his neighbors and everything.
Speaker: um So he sneaks in while he's at his own place, packing up his stuff. A really big dude and a woman show up. First, they like tell him that he's in trouble and they seem like, oh my gosh, they're scary. and then all of a sudden they're like, but let's celebrate your marriage. um We find out that i believe the guy is her his manager and the woman is like, I think the CEO of his like agency.
Speaker: Um, so the woman tells him that he lost a lot of contracts because of the marriage. And so he needs to really nail all of the ones that are still coming through and that he needs just whatever script he gets, he needs to take it.
Speaker: Um, so back at work, Sia is very happy that she gets to go outside. She's been for years now, just kind of trapped in her office. You know, people think that she's a mean person, but really she just was so allergic to the omegas around. They even mentioned at one point that like when she has board meetings, all the Omegas can only be, um you know, on video call and stuff.
Speaker: So she gets coffee with her cousin's secretary lawyer. The secretary's having fun for a minute, but she's kind of trying to rush her. She sees that says that she needs to go home to see her little babies.
Speaker: Sia, you can tell she's never even thought about babies. So she asks her cousin, like, are babies cute? And her cousin's like, of course, they're adorable.
Speaker: And then they both kind of do acknowledge the fact that Sia is going to get divorced once she has a child and she's not going be part of that child's life. She's not really at this point showing much like emotion, how she feels about that, but it's something on her mind already.
Speaker: So Hian moves in that night. She gives him like a room. She says, you can use you know this room for for yourself. And he's they both decide together though that he's going to sleep in her room.
Speaker: because they got to get to business. So they have sex immediately. She takes the lead really hard this time. He turns out to kind of be your typical BL bottom. He whines when she goes down on him. He says that he's dirty, even though he just took a shower.
Speaker: He says it's too much. All of that. It was fine. It was typical. i was just kind of like, okay. Been there, seen that. um So...
Speaker: I'm just calling him Dr. Beta. Dr. Beta shows up. He comes to see his work so he can give her her suppressants. She thanks him for keeping her secret all this time. He didn't tell anyone that she was allergic to omegas, which is why everyone just thought she was a bitch.
Speaker: um But she tells him she doesn't need it anymore and she'll just see him at the hospital from now on. He doesn't need to, you know, be part of her life on this personal level. He seems really upset and desperate about this.
Speaker: Whatever. Um, so Sia and Hyun go shopping together. While they're out shopping, he goes to wash his hands. And while he's gone and Omega walks by and she mentions that she's about to go into heat.
Speaker: And immediately cs starts getting nauseous. She's really confused because she knows that their bond is stable. I guess. So at one point she had actually said that she was going to go to the doctor to get their bond checked.
Speaker: So apparently that's a thing. Yeah, the bonding is weird.
Speaker: And apparently she must have already gone and gotten that checked. on a little unsure on that part. So when he comes back, she sniffs him and they go and get ice cream together and she feels a lot better.
Speaker: They then go to a little photo booth and they start taking cute photo pic booths together. um He tells her that they're for his Instagram. They straight up use the words IG. um While they're taking the photos, he hears a camera goes up off. He looks up and he sees someone taking their picture from afar.
Speaker: um The second they get home, he posted his IG all of their cute pictures and he tells her that he likes to beat the reporters to it so that he can control his own narrative, at least to some degree.
Speaker: And then he says that he's tired and he asks if they can skip sex that night, which is kind of out of character. cia looks disappointed. Early the next morning, like very early, I think it was like 4.30 or so when she gets up to go to work, Sia's mom just barges in. um and she's yelling and screaming. She says, the mother says that she's going to sue for annulment, which even there, like, that doesn't make any fucking sense.
Speaker: Hiyan is, like, a sweet boy. He, like, tries to introduce himself. He even apologizes for being in his pajamas at 4.30 in the morning, and the mother just immediately accuses him of trying to trap an alpha.
Speaker: So Sia kicks her out, um and... Kind of immediately, Hyeon tells her that he actually did come to her looking to change his life.
Speaker: So he looks kind of suspicious for a moment, like, what's he going to say? And then, of course, he's like, I mean, the baby. Obviously, a baby is going to change my life. And Sia has a weird thought where she actually kind of wishes that he did have an old alternative motive, whatever that may be.
Speaker: um Later on, they have shower sex and during the shower sex, she keeps marking him over and over. and her thoughts are she's hoping it'll make her condition better by the time the contract ends.
Speaker: So I've never seen this where you have to mark someone over and over.
Speaker: and like, is it even a bond?
Speaker: Okay, okay. Well, this isn't the last time we'll talk about it for sure. and talk about it and then I have some theories okay and maybe things will come up I don't know said this in the beginning of the episode this is we're only doing season one so we might not get all of our answers um so Sia starts thinking about how contract's going to end a year after he gives birth and in her mind she's kind of thinking like maybe she actually doesn't want him to get pregnant because she wants him around longer that this bond can keep her from getting sick or is she catching feelings who knows But then she gets into like, okay, but if I actually stop trying to get him pregnant, that's going to void the contract.
Speaker: Okay. So now we go back to who I was calling Dr. Beta Bestie. Now he's just a doctor incel. So he's heard from his little spy and he hears from the spy that he, Yon had been frequenting Sia's, you know, family, their big company, they're having these parties. He's been frequenting those parties for a few years. The rumor goes that supposedly he's desperate for a sponsor.
Speaker: And so he was going there trying to find an alpha, you know, who would sponsor him. And along the way, he probably slept with a lot of alphas. um He has takes that call while he's at work at the hospital.
Speaker: And his next patient is Sia. She tells him that her symptoms came back. So he tells her that it's possible her bond just isn't stable yet. um As she's walking out, she hears an Omega saying that she's going to go into heat, but she doesn't feel sick.
Speaker: So she's wondering if that's because, you know, she's been marking him over and over again. ah Once she gets home, Sia asks Hyeon questions about his movies. And again, he's surprised that she hasn't heard of any of them. He's even like, you haven't heard of my first film. It's like kind of a big deal. He's like, I was really young, but like, this was a big movie. And she doesn't watch movies.
Speaker: or TV. She made that clear from the beginning. that's why she did not know who he was. fact, we find out here that she doesn't even own a television. So she pulled out her laptop and she wants to watch his first movie with him. So they watch it. She's super into it.
Speaker: He's really embarrassed because it was his first film. um She's really impressed. And she even says that she wants to help him make a baby so that he can pass on his talents. um Later on, she wants to help him. So she sees him running lines for a script. So she says that she'll help him.
Speaker: They're running lines together. It's like a passionate scene. And then they end up doing the kissing scene together. They have kissed, but like not a lot. So it was kind of awkward for them. And then while they're kissing, they improv lines about saying goodbye.
Speaker: Like it was like a breakup scene. And I guess that is what's happening in this movie. Of course, they kind of get turned on by that. So they start having sex. However, the whole time they're having sex, she's really distracted thinking about that goodbye.
Speaker: It upset her. Obviously, she doesn't want to think about goodbye to him. And so she accidentally pulls out. And she's like, this is the first time I've been covered in my own cum or something like that.
Speaker: And he gets fucking pissed. And he tells her that she breached the contract and he is mad. And she promises it won't happen again. But then afterwards, she's, of course, actually secretly happy. And she even starts thinking about, like, what are other discrete birth control methods?
Speaker: First of all, pulling out is not a good method, but but... I mean, I guess it's better than not, but when your goal is to get pregnant. Yeah, but oh my gosh.
Speaker: Yeah, so that's that's not cute, but this whole their whole situation is interesting. Um, so Sia goes to lunch with the beta doctor and he tells her everything that he heard. He tells her that Hion was trying to marry any alpha in her company just to get a sponsor. And with him, she acts like it's not a big deal. She's kind of like, yeah, that works for me too. I mean, it's, you know, it's what our deal was. So why does that matter?
Speaker: And so she asks if she can schedule a prenatal doctor's appointment with him for both of them. Um, we then find out that he on is by himself and he's taking multiple pregnancy tests.
Speaker: They're all coming out negative. I couldn't tell what his reaction was. Part of me was almost wondering if he was relieved. I'm still not actually sure about that to this moment.
Speaker: Um, his CEO boss lady, whatever she is she asked him if he regrets getting married. He says no, but that he is feeling really confused right now. And she lets him know if he needs an out and he wants to get a divorce, like she'll help him out. No problem.
Speaker: And it can be done in a second. And he tells her that he just really doesn't know what he wants. um So Sia watches Hian at a press conference. He's been cast in a new movie. um He and his co-star are, you know, talking in that. And immediately they get asked about dating rumors that supposedly those two used to date.
Speaker: Sia feels really shocked to find out that he was possibly dating his co-star that he's going be working with. And again, her cousin lawyer secretary is just like, wait, did you seriously like not even read his wiki page?
Speaker: Like, how can you know nothing about someone this famous? This is known shit. um He says that he'll be home late. So she finally looks into him. She's straight up. And I love that they call it wiki. Usually they come up with weird words. No, she's straight up on his wiki, looking at his info. One thing that's interesting is that she's the only one listed as a family member, just that she's his wife.
Speaker: um then there's notes in the wiki that says that his parents died in an accident while on vacation when he was 20. don't know if Korean wiki is different, but like when I look at Wikipedia, they don't remove your parents' names because they die. no they they have it like... Just be listed as your parents, deceased.
Speaker: But anyways, that's that's how that went down. He comes home from this press release. um He was going out afterwards with his coworkers and stuff. He comes back super drunk and immediately he just wants sex.
Speaker: um So she's kind of in her own head. She's wondering about who he really is. Meanwhile, I am just wondering how the fuck he is having sex while wearing a giant winter coat over a vest over a turtleneck.
Speaker: don't care if it's the dead of winter that ain't comfortable that shit's as hell you gotta take layers off he's getting his little booty blown out with all that shit on sorry i was distracted that was all i could think about um
Speaker: anyways while he's drunk he kind of starts saying nonsense and one of the things he says is i'm not gonna go this time there's no way and Of course, like Sia is kind of like, what's he mean by that?
Speaker: And then she starts thinking and she's wondering if like his parents death had ever anything to do with him wanting a child so badly. So anyways, next time they're just hanging out the house and they actually play Mario Kart together. This is interesting because they call it Mario Kart, but with a C. so I guess it's Mario Kart with K, right?
Speaker: So no copyrights, but usually need the copyrights are a lot sillier than this. Yeah, not just by one letter. no And like I said, they said Wiki. They said IG.
Speaker: Now they're straight up pulling out Mario Kart. Maybe that's the translation. if They did show a picture and it was just like little animals on carts. But anyways, he was playing it and then she kind of asked to join and she's absolutely kicks his ass. And he's like, how are you so good at this game? And she's like, oh it's because I used to play it with my ex all the time.
Speaker: And he gets like really mad that she mentioned her ex. And like that, he's shooting a sweetheart. And he like literally quits the game, like dramatically goes quit on the game. And he says he's going to bed.
Speaker: So he supposedly goes off to bed. But she goes looking for him. He's not in her bed. So she goes and finds him in the room that she gave to him. He's only been using it as an office. He's in there with his, you know, he's like a little tablet. He has that up. So he says he's um reading scripts.
Speaker: And he lets her know, like, he's going to be gone filming most of the time. They won't really see each other. And they'll mostly be apart for a few months while he is filming. um And she's like, yeah, that's cool. And, like, she goes to bed. We find out he was actually looking up her ex.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: So he's actively in a role, but he's trying to get pregnant. Wouldn't that... Never mind. Yeah, I like thought about that. However, it seems like the role is going to wrap up within a couple months.
Speaker: So even if he got pregnant now, like I think he could still... Like it's a short enough time? Yeah. like I think they're only... They said a few months. To me, this... sort the We'll get into it. It seems like it was pretty short. I'm going to guess it was two or three months at most. Okay. Okay. So even if he got like pregnant today, think like three months he could still be filming, especially because the movie, we'll kind of get into this later, does take place in the winter. So he's like, at least his outfits for the movie are like big coats and things.
Speaker: So they don't talk about that, but it doesn't sound too crazy, I guess. And like he needs work is what we knew. So he kind of had to take this role. um Anyways, he was looking up her ex.
Speaker: They didn't really show anything more than that. I don't know why he was looking him up. I don't know what he found. I guess he was just being jealous. um So he actually, this room has a bed. He's never used it, but he falls asleep in that bed.
Speaker: And Sia comes in. She sees him in the bed. And she straight just gets up in the bed with him. I'm like, okay, that's kind of clingy. He was being kind of distanced with her. i feel like that room should have been his safe space. Yeah.
Speaker: like That's kind of how she... prompted it anyways like hey this is your room and use how you want yeah i mean i'm guessing we're supposed to be like oh they're actually falling in love with each other but like i don't know i feel like there's something i think invasion of privacy in my opinion yeah i feel like she got too obsessive too quick and she's the one who was all like i'm a badass woman and these are what i want blah blah blah and like immediately she's like can you fall for someone in 24 hours like Anyways, i'm kind of I'm kind of having a problem with it.
Speaker: But anyways, he leaves the next morning to go film. um I think they do a lot of filming just right at the beginning here because she spend ends up spending the holidays all alone. While she's alone during the holidays, she has a wet dream that she is tied up and she is gagged.
Speaker: You know, straight up has her mouth covered. And he is on top riding her. And this should be fun. But then of course he goes and says that she's nothing but a stud horse. So why isn't he pregnant yet?
Speaker: When she wakes up, she actually finds a little note next to her bed that straight up says, i left a note because you were asleep.
Speaker: I actually don't know if that means he just showed up and left a note or if he had sex with her in her sleep. That's why she had the dream.
Speaker: I'm really unsure. So moving right along. um So she sends a coffee truck to the island where he's filming. Apparently they say that's like a thing that fans do is they send gifts and a common gift is a whole ass coffee truck.
Speaker: You've heard of this? Oh yeah. And like for K-pop or like K-dramas and stuff, that's a whole thing. They'll send like a whole coffee truck. It's all tailored. Yeah. That's a whole thing. Wow. Okay. Well, they did that. She sent a whole ass coffee truck and it said, how but it said like on it, it said like gift from, i think it said from He-Yon. So like she made it look like he sent it. I don't know how that works, but there was a coffee truck and she and her, so i keep wanting to say sister, her cousin, secretary, lawyer, et cetera. They actually kind of a sneak along and they're hiding out on the Island. Um,
Speaker: They're there in like disguise, but like I said, it's winter. So they're just in giant coats up over their faces and like covered up as much as they can. And they're just like standing back, like watching everyone around the coffee truck and stuff.
Speaker: um
Speaker: um His manager, Hyeon's manager, the the big guy, think he's a beta, but he's like the biggest character, like big size wise. um Yeah, he knows that she's there. Like she had told him that he that she was coming with the truck, but like she asked him not to tell Hyanna, of course.
Speaker: And so he invites her to come actually watch the filming. He says like, it won't be a problem. No one will notice. It's fine. um So as she goes to watch the scene. She overhears and she's already read the script because she ran the lines with him.
Speaker: um But she overhears that this happens to be a marking scene that was added later. So she's, you know, she's already feeling some jealousy. She's like, okay. um And then the crew even talks about the actors putting patches on so that they don't accidentally get turned on and bite each other. Now this is extra weird because of when they actually show the scene that's happening.
Speaker: It's them outside, big winter coats, like basically having a dramatic goodbye. And I'm like, how the fuck is this marking scene? Like, I don't get marking in this story at all.
Speaker: don't either. Like, they're like, goodbye. Are they marking, like, the nape of the neck? Yes, the back of the neck. In these big winter jackets. I mean, apparently that's what's going to happen.
Speaker: Everyone just said this is the marking scene. All we see of the scene is them, like, talking, fighting, standing in public on an island.
Speaker: I don't know. I don't get it. um So the scene is just them talking, but Sia is getting so fucking jealous in her head. She is straight up planning how she's going to ruin the female co-stars career.
Speaker: Like she's like, what am I going to do to her? What I can do this. I can do that. Like I can, she could be gone. She could disappear. She's running through all this crazy shit in her head. um And then The female co-star, she's just like, can we get this woman removed? Because she is just standing over there glaring at me.
Speaker: And she's making me uncomfortable. And Sia was supposed to, like, not have anyone notice her. So Hian does notice. um And Sia gets taken away.
Speaker: Right after, kind of when they're done filming the co the co-star, she asks Hian if his mark is throbbing. um Because Sia showed up. And then she kind of like gets like, does she even know who you really are?
Speaker: So we get this, that like this coworker knows him better than Sia does. um So Sia goes back to Heon's room. The manager just takes her there. Again, I feel like his boundaries are just really being ignored because he doesn't even know that she's being taken back to his room.
Speaker: um So she's in there chilling. And then when he comes back, he says he's really tired. and he only has an hour before he has to go back to set. But since she's there, like he says that he does wanna fulfill their contractual obligations.
Speaker: um So then, so they kind of get started, but he's like, hey, like we gotta be kind of quick. She gets all offended that he wants to go fast. So then he's like, you know what? Nevermind. How about you just mark me?
Speaker: So again, that's like another thing. Like they don't even have to have sex. They can just straight up mark each other. Marking's silly.
Speaker: hat over marking like that's like the and the whole plot it's kind of kind of annoying
Speaker: um anyways but then when he's like okay just mark me like we don't have to have sex but then she was just like being all butthurt that he wanted to go fast but then she's like no no like you got me in the mood so we're gonna do it so they have a quickie but then they actually do find out that um filming's postponed so they have like three hours So when Hyeon goes back to set, the co-star, she gets him alone and she's pissed and she calls him out for fucking on break. She's like I can, you stink of alpha pheromones. Like I can smell it all over you. Like, did you do this on purpose? And she's like, were you worried that I was going to try something with Sia?
Speaker: but What? Yeah. So we knew she was like being jealous and we thought that she was being jealous, like that she was into him. um they didn't say this, but even just the way, or no, actually the movies, by what they've said in the movies, like she's been playing an alpha and he's always plays an Omega in the movies.
Speaker: um But anyway, so. Is the actor, his co-star not an alpha? I think we're getting right to that. Oh, sorry. The cousin lawyer secretary comes and picks Sia up from, you know from the filming location.
Speaker: And she tells her like, yeah, that co-star called you out. because um she was jealous. And so then Sia was like, okay, she was jealous. I guess it must be true that they were dating.
Speaker: And then the cousin is like, no, the rumors. So all of the rumors that they heard about before, all the rumors about Hyeon were actually about her, that co-star. People just assume that she's an alpha because of her roles, but she is actually an Omega.
Speaker: And she was actually going to all of the parties at Sia's company. um because she was trying to snag an alpha. ah However, we do find out specifically she wanted Sia.
Speaker: I don't know why. i don't think they quite explained just that she liked her. i don't know if it's just from going to the parties or what. We could have some GL here. Right? I know. um Yeah, but and so she actually did take him to the party. So the the first party was the first time he went and like confronted Sia and was like, hey, we're a match. Let's hook up or whatever. um So I think that was his first time going and it's because he went with the co-worker but like the co-worker was obsessed with Sia and I don't think she told him. i think she didn't warn him because she was famous for being like an Omega hater and she she could not get her attention so she didn't think he would and then like literally his first time like he marries her.
Speaker: but Within 24 hours he's married. So this co-star um asks Sion like she's pissed and she's like how did you pull an Omega hater? And he's just like, are you going to sabotage my relationship now?
Speaker: Just like you did with these other people with apparently a whole big company like fell apart because she sabotaged them. Basically, she's um she's she's a little. She's just a problem maker.
Speaker: um And she comes off that way. And I think they're still on set. And he like it just accuses her. He's like, you're losing it over an alpha and all of this. But then he kind of has the thought in his own head, like I'm blaming her, but like, am I losing it over an alpha too?
Speaker: um So after the fight, they wrap wrap wrap up filming for that day. And Sia actually comes and picks Hian up from set. They're not done filming, but he's off for the day. um And they're driving in the car.
Speaker: They actually have like some nice moments. It's like really they're like driving along the beach. It looks really pretty and stuff. And he tells her that he's going be going. So they kind of both act like they want to tell each other something. He goes first. He tells her that he's going to be going into heat in about two weeks.
Speaker: She kind of then immediately asks him about his relationship with his company CEO, the woman I've kind of talked about who shows up.
Speaker: Um, so apparently, I guess, I guess her cousin must have told her this. This doesn't really make much sense, but apparently the rumors about him dating his co-star were actually about him dating the CEO of his company.
Speaker: But people confused the two because they look alike.
Speaker: Did they look alike? They do. Actually, they do look alike. OK. But it did kind of come up earlier um that someone's, I think when he was drunk or something, he said people say that Sia looks like, I think, the the co-star.
Speaker: So basically, it kind of seems like a big mess. Just basically, they're saying he has a type. They're all um they're all just kind of serious looking women. They look like they could kick your ass. OK.
Speaker: All have dark hair. um I thought that was an interesting thing. I didn't really get into the character descriptions, which I do like to do I feel like so. Both of them, our main alpha and our main omega, both have like silverish hair.
Speaker: However, hers is a much darker silver and his is like a light silver. And then they both to me, their eyes look grayish. But then in some light, his looks sometimes his looks like more blue and more gray.
Speaker: and then hers looks like a reddish purple. Or like I said, like when she's having sex, they turn straight up red. So that was kind of interesting. At the very first I was like, they almost look related, but feel like the, the artist got more into it and they stopped looking related.
Speaker: But yeah, so apparently these three women all look alike. They all have similar personalities. i don't really know if that matters too much, but anyways, he seems a little bit offended that she's like asking him about that. And so he lets her know that actually the CEO of his company, um,
Speaker: She's actually his guardian and she took care of him when his parents died. And like she and his manager were both just really there for him. And they're the only family that he has. So Sia kind of looks like a dick.
Speaker: um Sounds like it. Yeah. So anyways, after getting the news that he's going to be going into heat in two weeks, she calls her doctor, Dr. Insel, and she asked to send set an appointment for Hian three weeks out because he might be pregnant.
Speaker: So like, yeah, her thought is he could technically be pregnant in this moment, but no, she's like, I think her brain is like in his heat, like we're going to get it did. So she keeps flopping back and forth to me, but in this moment, she's like, seems like really determined.
Speaker: And in her mind, she does say like, I'm going to make our baby. um And then she seems really genuinely excited and happy that his heat is coming soon. Okay.
Speaker: Yeah, it seems really back and forth. I don't really know what either of them wants, but we're only in the first season. So um
Speaker: anyway, oh so she is like that. But then her brain kind of goes back to, oh, no. But once he's pregnant, that's when our contract ends. So she's like getting carried away by happiness. But she does always come back to being rational and being like, oh, we have to end our contract.
Speaker: I'm little confused. So their contract ends when he gets pregnant, but aren't they supposed to be married within a year? Like, I mean, aren't they supposed to hold out for a year? Yeah. So it is, yeah, it is that if he's gonna, they're gonna get divorced a year after he's has the baby.
Speaker: So like after the baby's born, yeah, they'll still have a year together married and then divorce. Okay. And they're it's just making it sound like they're going terminate like once he finds out he's pregnant. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, no, I mean, for her in her mind, she's like thinking long term. So she's like, okay, they're good. Find out he's pregnant. And then they'll leave nine months together. and She wants to extend her time with him. Okay, that makes sense. I'm like, um aren't you supposed to like have the baby and then in the contract? Like, it's not when you get the positive reading.
Speaker: Yeah, yeah, no, its it's and it's a whole year after. So she's got at least almost two years. But she's already like, obviously, she's in love. She doesn't know what's going on in her brain, but she's in love with him. um It is in their contract that um these things can be, you know, reevaluated at the time.
Speaker: and So anyways she gets a call from his manager and his manager is like, oh, my God, like he passed out on set. Like they were right when they were done filming. He passed out on the floor. We're bringing him straight home to you. And she's of like, what should you bring him to a hospital? Is he OK? And they're like, no, he went into heat early. He's just calling out for you.
Speaker: We've never seen him like this before. Like he hasn't reacted this way to a heat. So we got to get him to you now. Yeah. yeah And then this part gets kind of crazy. So he is just totally out of it. He's just calling for her and he needs her.
Speaker: And then she's like in the house and she's just like, he's here. And her eyes glow like bright red. and she goes outside and the manager is even like, how how did she know we were here already?
Speaker: And then he's with someone else. I don't think it's the CEO. She's just some girl. She's like, oh, like I heard that some alphas can sense when their meds are around. Do you think that's the case? Anyways, she looks fucking crazy. Her eyes are glowing. They both are just like in a trance.
Speaker: So this is when shit gets wild. So the second he gets in they start just fucking like crazy, of course. He's begging her for kisses. And guess what happens now next?
Speaker: Does she knock? She knocks him. I really wish this were uncensored because the glow looks like spiky. I think she has the bulb at the bottom, but that could just be like her balls.
Speaker: But then, yeah, the outline of the glow is like spiky looking, which I've heard of that. I've never seen that. I've never seen that either. i think like ducks are like that or something. Yeah, they have like the barbed.
Speaker: Yeah, the barbs. her just It just looks spiky to me. Like I said, I can't see the details, but that was interesting. And then he said, this is crazy. I've never heard this. He says that she's going to keep nodding him until his heat is over.
Speaker: So in my brain at first, I was like, okay, like over and over again, I guess. This next scene, i don't know why this shook me. i actually sent it over to Gabby because I like, someone has to see this. I will send it to you afterwards.
Speaker: ah We need to put this somewhere. I don't know. So there's just a scene. So they've, we've already seen them fucking and fucking like crazy. I mean, just in the bed. think they were on the floor, just going nuts. So we have this scene that I think it's going to live in my mind forever.
Speaker: She's fucking him. Like, so he is passed out basically on the counter, just face down. She is fucking him. She is chugging big old carton of oat milk.
Speaker: And it says huge oat milk.
Speaker: I don't know why this and it's the this panel, it's just her looking like a badass chugging goat milk, and sorry, oat milk. And you just like you just see his ass on the counter and she's like fucking it.
Speaker: i don't know why. It's one of the best things I've ever seen, to be honest. ah Don't get me wrong, I love oat milk, but you would think like it's like water or beer or something, but oat milk?
Speaker: Okay, these next few lines almost make it even weirder. So then she does the classic thing and she feeds it to him by mouth. Like she drinks it, puts it in her mouth, and puts it in his mouth.
Speaker: um And her theory is that he needs to eat well to get pregnant. So apparently oat milk is you know, and how you gotta eat to get pregnant.
Speaker: It almost feels like cow milk would have made more sense, but I don't drink cow's milk. That's kind of disgusting. So i get don't drink cow's milk. But also if he's like passed out, he's probably dehydrated. oat milk is probably not the call.
Speaker: Get this boy some water. Yeah, literally just some plain ass water. And we'll get to it This next part is extra crazy. So she's fucking him from behind.
Speaker: and It appears she carries him to the room. They don't show a clear shot. Now we're used to reading BL. We're used to, you know, a giant fucking alpha, male alpha carrying this little tiny male omega while he's still fucking him to the room.
Speaker: They don't show it, but we can see she somehow carries him while fucking him from behind, and I don't understand how. He's taller than her. He's twinkie, but...
Speaker: I don't know. He's passed out, so he can't, like, wrap himself around her. He's not wrapped, and it's from behind. Like, she still has him from behind. and she, like, I don't know. I mean, she's probably really fucking strong, because she's, like, I don't know if it put her into rut, or she's just fucking insane, because he's in heat.
Speaker: Anyway. I've never seen from, like, caring from behind like that. okay No, me neither. And, like, if they didn't actually show it, but it's implied that that's what happened. Like, it's strange.
Speaker: I don't know. I guess I'm really caught up on the physics here. Okay, so we find out how long she nodded him for. Take a guess how long the one, her in there did not come out.
Speaker: How long did she nod him for? I know the Natsuki last hours was at least like overnight. Like what, 10 hours, 12 hours? Keep going.
Speaker: You know what? Let's not talk about hours. Days. Four days. She nodded him for four days straight. I don't think I've ever heard of a nod that long. I've never heard of that.
Speaker: I think the most was probably, like like i said, like a few hours. Yeah, I mean, I'd say like eight, ten hours maybe. You know, someone made it seem like ah like all day. Yeah. All one day. All four days? Four days. She never came out of him.
Speaker: Yeah. So... That was a bit much. Anyways, she, towards the end, she starts thinking, this bitch is kind of psycho.
Speaker: She thinks about a lot of things. I don't know if she actually plans on doing these things, but she starts thinking about locking him up and just keeping him and the baby there. She's even kind of like, there's lots of actors, like no one will know.
Speaker: no one has to know if I just have him and a baby locked up forever and I can keep him. But it's kind of like, are you being crazy? But she's like actually coming up with like plans. Like how she could do that. She has power. She can do it. Anyway, she's kind of talking to him.
Speaker: and he's not responding at all. And she's like, oh shit. So they have to call in Dr. Incel. And he gives him an IV. And he straight up tells her that she fucked his brains out.
Speaker: So you were right. He was dehydrated. he passed the fuck out. Yeah, oat milk's not gonna do shit. Like, if you're dehydrated, you need to actually- Oh my god.
Speaker: So that was- Everything's been kinda eh, whatever for me. That scene was pretty crazy. It's definitely gonna live on in my own Omegaverse lore. Can I just say something real quick? Of course.
Speaker: We've read a lot of BLs. Even, like, the most red flag tops have taken care of their bottoms. Right? I know. At least some water. Wow. Apparently she tried with some fucking oat milk.
Speaker: For four days. i feel like every time I see oat milk now, I'm just like, what the fuck? I hope you think about this at work. i will. don't know what the doctor's like, but you know what? He's going to be fine. You know, come in for a checkup.
Speaker: And, but, as the doctor's, oh, and he kind of tells her, like, oh, go to the room and do something else. I'm just going to give him, like, you know, he says he's going to give him something. And, As he leaves, we see he has stolen a vial of blood out of our Omega.
Speaker: And so he's walking out with the little vial of blood and he says, I'm just going to check to see if he's really Sia's match or if he's just a con artist.
Speaker: End season. Why are we violating this poor Omega? Right? However... I mean, there are signs that he's up to something.
Speaker: He's been a little sus. It's hard. It's especially actually reading it. It's like hard to think that because he really is just kind of a sweetheart. Like he seems like a sweetheart, but then he does have his moments where he gets like cagey.
Speaker: um But yes, we got to wait till season two. We got to wait a whole week. I have not read this, so I have no idea what's coming next. More oat milk. More oat milk. I hope there's more oat milk.
Speaker: I feel like nothing's going to top that scene. i That was wild. I'm excited to see this, but oh my god. Okay, so there's some things I do want to go over. Okay, definitely.
Speaker: The whole bonding shit. So this is a first I've heard of how they're doing it because there's been some series where, you know, they have broken bonds. But typically when you break a bond, you can't really, like, re-bond after her or you, like, lose your senses. So there's, like, that route that's more... yeah or like, we know, like, the whole death if there's a bond broken. But, like, they keep re-bonding? Like, what the fuck? Yeah, they re-bond and then she's still, like...
Speaker: obviously she broke her bond with her ex he had someone else and she still like got benefits from him yeah that's she's directed to him and then yeah and how she has to like keep marking that's normally it's like a kink thing to like keep marking yeah like i get them doing it for fun like no she was doing it for business and how he's like oh i guess you keep marking me and i'm like the the fuck normally that's yeah not how it works so like you said it's really interesting and different how they did the bond thing and i just don't know how feel about that but it does remind me i do not support okay but those shitty ai like dramas that will just pop up how it's like
Speaker: You broke the bond from like the Stray series. I'm like, is this just like something common amongst like this little niche? Yeah, maybe. Maybe more werewolfish or something? Maybe. In other genres, it's more of a thing. But I'm like, can we even call it a bond if it has to like constantly be reinstated?

Like, I've heard it mentioned, but everything i read, they live happily ever after. oh we'll see in season two. Let's see if these two do. So, okay, but what do you think? Is he pregnant?
Speaker: As much as I want to say yes, she fucking dehydrated the dude. His body's probably in like survival mode right now. It's like, I'm not ready for a baby. I'm trying to literally survive. True, but I mean, that was probably on like day three or four.
Speaker: he was probably fine on day one and two. With how these like Omegaverse pregnancy goes, they are very fickle. True, true. I'd be surprised if he wasn't pregnant.
Speaker: Yeah. and like she she even said at one point, like, he could already be pregnant because they've been having sex every day. I think she told the beta bestie that and he got all offended. But like, but we did recently see him taking tests, but he didn't even tell her. So she doesn't know if he's pregnant or not already.
Speaker: This is messy. This is messy. i don't know I don't know how I'm feeling about it. It's just so messy. Yeah, I have to be honest. It kind of hasn't been that fun to read even. Parts have been, but most of it, like I cut out more than I usually do, but not really, like nothing important.
Speaker: oh Yeah, I was hoping that this would come in and redeem the queen. It still can. This was only season one. We're going to do season two inside stories next week. um So I'm hoping for the best. I don't really feel connected to these characters.
Speaker: I'm not impressed by the portrayal of female alphas. No. Because they're not treating the Omegas well. like Even the queen, she was just like, oh, you deal with this cleanup.
Speaker: As Omega's on the floor spazzing out. Getting the fun brains fucked out. but Dude, I almost liked that more, at least with that being her personality. And then she should have taken, i love like a red flag turning green. Oh, I did too. She could have been that. I was okay with her starting off being like that, but I didn't feel like she ever redeemed herself.
Speaker: And that's what bothered me. And that would bother me with the male main character too, but it does bother me more because this is the only representation we're getting. This is it.
Speaker: And so now i'm like, can this one be different? She's almost bothering me more because she's kind of acting like she wants to be that person. That heartless bitch who's like, yeah, contracts and this and that.
Speaker: But she's not. She's so early, wasn't. Yeah. But she's not being like cute, sweet, and loved. She's being like weird to me. is interesting because like, yes, she was she meant business at first. Like, oh, this is how it's going happen. It's going to be the contract and stuff. But now she's going back on that. like It's like kind of like a forced possessiveness in a way.
Speaker: yeah Yeah, kind of... Because like I get it. was an arranged marriage. You didn't feel it. It was your childhood bestie, whatever and all. But it was like so nonchalant to You went from one side of the scale all the way to the other suddenly. Yeah.
Speaker: From nonchalant to, I'm going to fucking lock you up and hide you away. Yeah. I mean, I think there was a point, I think her cousin or someone kind of said that even though she felt like she was compatible with, oh, you know, they did talk about um her cousin's marriage and it kind of wasn't that important. i didn't really, i don't I don't even remember what she said, but basically like that she saw, she as a child, I think, saw the one that she wanted and she claimed him and she made him hers. Yeah.
Speaker: And she was kind of like, but you didn't get that. Like you were like arranged or whatever. And that maybe you two just really weren't compatible. So this compatibility thing is a whole thing. and now they're saying on paper that these two are insanely compatible. But we know he's up to something. There's some secret being hidden.
Speaker: Is it that he lied about those results and they're not actually that compatible? He might be infertile. Maybe he's infertile. Yeah I feel I really there's something going on of him.
Speaker: Whatever reveal happens needs to be good. i think he's going to be the one to save this series for me if it's possible. If it's just something dumb I'm gonna throw this shit out the window.
Speaker: then Really for me my whole opinion of the story depends on what his turn is. And then like Yeah, because him... At first I was impressed because, like, wow, he wants a baby. Like, he he knows what he wants. And now I'm like, hmm.
Speaker: Yeah. Does he? What's he up to? Yeah. Passing on the jeans and stuff. I'm like, hmm. Yeah. I feel... feel like it's not going to be that he's up to something shady. It's going look like he's done something shady, but it's going to turn out there was a reason or there's something. I don't know. Watch his inheritance or something. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: I don't know. I don't think it'll be that. I feel i don't know what I think it'll be. don't know either. was just listing some cliche out. Yeah, no, I mean, that is a thing. that I don't think he has like a money motive or something. There's going to be.
Speaker: I don't know. don't know what it's going to I'm intrigued to find out next week. But right now, i'm I'm not sure how much I'm feeling this.

I'm trying to go into it with an open mind. i didn't mind like reading it. i was, and don't know how to explain it.
