Speaker: Hello, welcome back to the FWAPcast. Hi guys. How's it going, Moon? Ooh, life's been good. How about yours? Not bad, not bad. tis Busy, busy.

Speaker: I'm excited for what we have to talk about. I'm excited too. So, so you know how we did that whole three big episodes all about Love an Illusion and we said we're going to take a break from Love is an Illusion. Well, hope you enjoyed that break. um You know, two whole episodes off because we are right back to Love is an Illusion.

Speaker: And today I'm presenting what I believe is the most infamous and also unknown of spinoffs, which is The Queen. Yeah, have idea. Right. I have read it before. ah have opinions.

Speaker: As I understand it, the internet for once actually mostly shares my opinions, I believe. ah Moon, what do you know about the queen? Nothing. Nothing? Nothing. All right. Awesome. um So, yeah, i guess I'll get it right. Love an Illusion, the queen is the spinoff about, you know, kind of quick reminder on Love and ah is an Illusion. our main love interest, the alpha, he came from this big alpha family. He had four siblings, the oldest brother we never ever fucking talk about. A lot of people don't realize he has that oldest brother. And I remember I looked up who the fuck is this little kid running around, the older boy with the blue hair, and it's the oldest brother's kid. And then we, of course, so then they do show more, I think the second oldest is the sister who has long blonde hair.

Speaker: She's beautiful. She's an alpha. I was so excited to hear her story. And then, of course, there's then the next brother who was one of the side couples. He has the glasses. And then the youngest brother was our main character. So this story goes right on to their sister, who I was very intrigued by. I wanted to know about her. And then when I found out that this story is about her, a female alpha.

Speaker: Actually, I'll be honest. When I saw the pictures, I thought that I thought it was a female Omega. So I thought it was. girl so I was excited for that only a few panels in I was like oh the omega's a guy okay I like that just as much I need everyone to know that i love female alpha well I love the idea of female alpha male omega it's something very rare i haven't this is actually the only real story I've read about it which is why so I wanted i wanted to love them so bad so let's let's get into it

Speaker: And i was like I said, okay, so from what I've seen on the internet, people, please tell me if I'm wrong. Please tell me a few have other opinions. One, no one has ever read this story. Two, somehow anyone that's ever read this story hates this story.

Speaker: So we'll get right into it. Yes. Okay. I know we both love the crazy Omega from the side couple. Yeah. For- in your opinion, because I haven't read this, and before we dive in, I just i just need to gauge this.

Speaker: Would you say that they hate this story more than that Omega? Wait, do I hate this story more? Not you, but do you think the general consensus- A lot of people don't like the other Omega. Yeah, a lot of people hate him. I feel like it's such a different thing. I feel like he is such an extreme, crazy character that people who hate him passionately hate him. They have good reason. And even if they won't say it, I think they secretly love to hate him because it's exciting.

Speaker: It makes for an exciting story. um I get where, you know, some people like, I hate that couple because they're toxic and they're awful. Whatever. This story, i won't say too much. i think people hate it because it is toxic.

Speaker: But it's not fun. It's not crazy. Okay. Yeah. All right. Well, ill I'll kind of give my narration on my feelings as I go, but let's let's get going with it. All right. So it opens, it starts great. It starts with a montage of her two younger brothers who were our characters in the other story. It shows them like just real quick, them showing their loves, you know, their, um,

Speaker: partners to their parents. It shows our main couple with their adorable little baby Buell. It shows the other couple with their puppy. um It shows scene like scenes from their weddings. It's very quick, very cute. um So this timeline is interesting. I don't know if this came out while side stories were still coming out because they're very much treating the dog. well He's really young and they're treating him like the child.

Speaker: The adopted child's not there. so this And Buell's really little. So this is before before they adopted their child. um So it goes from this beautiful picture of everyone in love. This next scene is pretty great. It goes to their sister. um Again, I'm going to do my best with her name. I looked it up. It's Dokyom.

Speaker: um So it goes to the sister, Dokyom. She's beautiful female alpha, tall, long blonde hair, big ass boobs. She looks powerful as fuck.

Speaker: And she is fucking, not one, but two omegas. A little male one and a little female one. i think the female one's just kind of like, she's done and she's just going to with the male. um So then it goes straight from that scene into her announcing to her family that she's decided it's time to get married.

Speaker: And she's asking her parents if they can set something up for her. And her basic reason is that she just doesn't want to let her little brothers win. She sees how happy they are that they have families she doesn't want them to win.

Speaker: So, okay. So the parents tell her it's going to be hard because everyone that they know and all these families are married off already. um I don't know when this exactly comes up. I believe she's 38 years old.

Speaker: So, you know, in Manhua, that's fucking ancient. Yeah, she should be 38. Yeah, she's the second oldest, 38 years old. um the second The second youngest brother, the one with the glasses, is that Dojun?

Speaker: Or Dojin? Dojin. Dojin. Dojin's the sister's name. I'm like, their days are so close. The way you said the sister's name, I was like, you're fucking kidding me. Hers isn't as bad Dojum. Okay. Sounds a little different, but still starts with the sister. Dojun the older brother. Dojin is the younger one. Okay, i have it right then. Okay, so Dojun basically tells her that he doesn't think that she can handle getting married because like she's a player.

Speaker: He straight up says that. Who knows a thing or two about failed marriages? Um... But so her response to everyone, this is totally weird and doesn't really make sense. She just says, well, you don't know what my secretary is capable of.

Speaker: So cut to her secretary. He's been standing there the whole time. He's this tiny little Omega. He looks serious as hell. He's got big glasses, slicked back hair. He looks like an accountant. Cute as hell, pretty as hell. It's like an accountant.

Speaker: And so he's standing there. He looks totally chill. He looks like he's got everything handled. However, they do show him and he's gripping his phone with a rage, like rage grip. um They didn't, for some reason, he's the only character that gets a little pop-up box. It says that his name is um Song Ah, and he's 36 years old, and he's her secretary, but he's more like her nanny.

Speaker: So... Wow, they all have one. They all have a nanny. Yeah, pretty much. Except he's not the beta bestie. There is no beta bestie in this story. I didn't like it.

Speaker: Yeah, anyways. Maybe that's what, they don't have a beta bestie. Well, we'll get into the bestie, but... Anyway, so it goes right into the two of them, her and her secretary. They're waiting for her first blind date.

Speaker: um She wants him there because she thinks that he's going to be better at picking a good spouse for her because obviously we know from panels that she is the crazy one and he's... I want her to be crazier.

Speaker: she's She's the goofy one. Not goofy. She's the one that doesn't have her head screwed on. He's the super responsible one. um Anyway, so while they're sitting there waiting for the blind date, a very cute female Omega walks by and Do-kyom is already very distracted.

Speaker: She kind of looks out. She can see, oh, she's wearing a uniform. So they're at the, you know, the the family owns this giant company. So at that giant company, they're in like the lobbies or whatever. And so she can see that this little Omega is wearing like a uniform. So she works there.

Speaker: yeah Okay. She's already got her eyes on this little employee while waiting for her blind date. The date shows up. She's a really classy young female Omega. She comes from a good family. she's, They start talking and like it already comes up that Dokyam has a reputation for being a little promiscuous. um The other Omega says that like she's waiting for marriage. However, she doesn't judge her lifestyle and she believes that she'll behave once she gets married and has a family. So she's not holding that against her.

Speaker: So Dokyam's like, okay, cool. Excuse me, need go to the restroom. So she goes off to the restroom. So Song Ah, the secretary, is stuck there with, you know, her blind date.

Speaker: They're sitting there. And then the blind date's like, huh, she's been gone for a while. Song Ah is just in his brain. You can tell he's like, oh, shit. So he goes and finds her. Can you guess where she is and what she's doing?

Speaker: Is she in a stall fucking out of mega? Yep. She is in the bathroom. Fucking that little employee. um Let's see. Oh, yeah, I guess I should say before before that happened. Sorry, I jumped ahead a little bit. um Basically, Sang-ah got the impression that Do-kyom was already bored, but he was really surprised that the other Omega seemed like interested in her.

Speaker: But anyway, so he goes to the restroom. He knows exactly what she's doing. um So they show her fucking this little employee. There's a maintenance sign up on the wall that she has put up there.

Speaker: um So Sung Ah just kind of stands there. He actually has ah like a spray, I guess, to try to couple up cover up pheromones. And he sprays the door with the spray. And the blind date comes over and she's like, is she in there? And he's like, no, of course she's not in there. Like, it's out of order.

Speaker: And he like, kind and she really wants to go in and he doesn't let her go in. He handles things. Basically, that's what he does. He handles things. So afterwards, Kyung comes out of the bathroom and she tells Sung Ah, just clean this up.

Speaker: And she walks away. He goes into the bathroom. The employee is in there. She's She had a great time, but she's ah she's been through it. So he tells her not to tell anyone. He tells her there was no meaning behind any of this. And he actually gives her a spray. He says, spray this on yourself. Go cover yourself up.

Speaker: Go back to what you're doing. Like, this never happened. And you can tell that he is just, is what he does. That's his job. So then we cut to the next scene.

Speaker: And Song Ah, the secretary, he is in the bath. He's jacking off. and he's thinking about his boss, Do-kyung. He then moves to the shower where he has a dildo up against the wall.

Speaker: He's going at it on that dildo and he's saying her name.

Speaker: So then we do kind of flashback really quick to them in college. We do go back to them in college quite a bit. We find out that Song Ahs is a genius. So he started college two years early. So he was 18 when everyone else was 20.

Speaker: Again, in South Korea, 20 is the age of consent. So he was a minor. um He looked like a little baby. He had like really short hair and big glasses. um Dookyum, she also had really short hair.

Speaker: um She looked otherwise the same. She looked a little more mass because her hair was really short. it just kind of shows though that like for him or her, i don't remember if it shows just him or if it shows both that like it was really obvious they both immediately. And I think this one was more from his side. So he like just immediately like was in love with her.

Speaker: Anyway, so we skip forward to yet another blind date. This time, Sang-ah refuses to go along with her because he's mad about how that last date went. um But um so he's not there, but she's on her date and another little Omega fail shows up. It's a male Omega this time.

Speaker: um He seems really shy, Do-kyum, like in her head, she's like, he's really horny. I can tell. So then we cut to Song Ah, he's gone and met up with a friend of theirs, Moo Jin. Moo Jin, we will talk about, he's very important. He's, I hope I don't respond, like, yeah, I guess I described him a little bit more bit. Anyway, so he's complaining to this friend, Jin. He tells him that this time he purposely picked a promiscuous alpha, or alpha, sorry, omega, I'm more used to saying alpha, promiscuous one so that she can have a good time.

Speaker: um Sounds like a nice thing to do, but the friend asks him if he's mad that she's getting married. And Song Ah says no, he's not because he's never considered himself to be an Omega and he has no interest in getting married.

Speaker: So think this is where we kind of find out that basically he's told everyone he's asexual and that he denies being an Omega and he denies the roles that they play. And apparently this is a thing being a second gender or denier.

Speaker: Oh yeah, that's me. Right? um But he's not like, oh, I'm not an omega. He's like, no, secondariann dude secondary genders are dumb. Like, I given be need to give him to those roles. Not in a like, I'm going to go fuck who I want. No, just in a like, he's also saying he's asexual. The asexual part is actually really interesting because you don't come across that. You don't. And okay.

Speaker: Already going to start complaining. Yeah, it's like, cool. You never, never see that word. And they use it a lot. They talk about it a lot. Okay. This ain't the ace rep that we want. Oh, okay. Yeah. It sucks. It ain't it.

Speaker: um Anyway, so then um we've got this friend, Moo Jin. Apparently he's really strong and scary. He's a really big buff guy. He looks like an alpha. He's got long black hair. He's got facial hair, but his hair is pulled back in a little tiny ponytail. So we find out that he was, he's from a big family. He was supposed to go into business with Do Kyeom and, you know, be a big businessman. But instead he made the choice to um run a cute little arts and craft shop.

Speaker: And so like he has long hair, but it's like back in a little bun. So he's in like his little apron, but he's like this big cool guy. i want to say don't get attached, but fuck, he's, he's a really great character. um so anyways, we go back. What's his His gender? their dinner He's an alpha. or He's male alpha. Male alpha, what you picture, you know, for an alpha. You can tell that he's just a chill guy, but He's a big, powerful dude, but he'd rather be artsy.

Speaker: He's great. Unfortunately, he's great. So we go back to Do-kyum, and she's fucking that Omega that she was on a date with. She actually fucks him until he stops breathing.

Speaker: And she freaks out. Of course, she calls Sung Ah. And she tells him like, he's not breathing. What do I do? And he's pissed, but he comes over there anyways. He comes in and he's immediately like, he's just sleeping. What did you do to him? And she's like, oh my God, well, I had to try him out. And like, he couldn't even keep up for four hours.

Speaker: Anyway, so after that, the two of them, Do-kyum and her secretary, Song Ah, they go out to dinner. um She tells him that she's worried that she isn't cut out for marriage, but she says that she actually really wants to have little angels just like her brothers have.

Speaker: um Sung Ah says that he thinks that he's pissed. He says he thinks that she could be happy on her own and she doesn't need to do what everyone else is doing. um Then she says that if she could find someone like him, she wouldn't even give it a second thought and like marriage would be easy.

Speaker: All right. This scene is so important. It's not important. It's so important. All right. So the next scene, she goes home to her family and there she finds Dojun, the youngest brother, and his wife.

Speaker: He soon? He soon? Dojun's the younger one. Dojun? Yeah. Shit. You're right. Dojun. Sorry. The younger one and his little Omega.

Speaker: He sounds. He son. I mixed up the two names, the two of similar names, the beta and him. So sorry about that. He's son. Anyways, they are there and they are very, very upset because their little baby son, Buell, he is tiny. He's like preschool.

Speaker: I'd say he's four at most. um He's told them that he's bringing home his boyfriend and they're not happy about it. um and they're...

Speaker: They have flashbacks to this little boy with short, dark hair and a blank stare. And he's been following Buell around. And they're like, okay, he's going to bring, we don't like what he's been following around our son. We know he's going to bring him over.

Speaker: Well, then Buell shows up and he's instead with a little boy with brown hair. And their response is that's not Siwoo. Did you break up with him already? so Yeah, so that's all that we got was that Buell had already gone from dating one person, dating another.

Speaker: um i believe both of these, well, for sure one of them, I believe the other one, they both come up later, but we'll talk about that another time. um It's very adorable.

Speaker: Anyways, so this actually gives Do-kyum an idea though. She sees that Buell was able to pick up dates in daycare. So she's like, if he can do that, then I should go to a party. So she goes to a party.

Speaker: Same thing, right? She's getting getting advice from her baby nephew. Baby nephew to the rescue? The scene was totally important and totally called for, right? anyway so she so she goes to a party. She looks fucking gorgeous. She's in this little red dress, hair all down. Her hair is usually kind of not up, but like partially back or up or something. Her hair is just down. She looks amazing. So she goes into the party like ready to mingle.

Speaker: um Song Ah is there with her. He's standing against the wall. He's looking around judging everyone. He's he's not down for all this bullshit. Yeah. Let's see. So while he's standing there, a male alpha comes up and he offers him a drink. And first he tells him no, because he's working and he doesn't drink.

Speaker: The male alpha is being pretty persistent. He's not really being mean, but he is being kind of persistent about it. um And he finally says, you know what? I'm just going let my guard down. Or he kind of first tells the guy like, no, I don't drink because like I can't, you know, I don't want to lose control of myself, whatever. and then he's like, you know what? I'm going to let my guard down for once.

Speaker: So he hasn't, we find out he hasn't drank since college. he, goes ahead and starts drinking with this alpha that he doesn't know. um Do Kyeom is, she's at the party and she sees them leaving together.

Speaker: Right as she sees them leaving, a cute female Omega comes up to her. So she kind of doesn't want to lose that opportunity. So she starts talking to her. Song Ah and this guy go to a back room. We find out this guy's like the host of the party.

Speaker: um He actually gets really, really drunk. The alpha's just kind of talking to him and stuff. He's asking him about his boss and his relationship with her. And he says like, no, we're just like, he's even like, why aren't you two together? And he's like, no, we're just friends.

Speaker: Stranger doesn't get it, but he said that they're just friends. So he starts putting the moves on him. um And then this stranger or this alpha, he says like, oh my gosh, like he's producing so many pheromones and like, they're just so lovely. Like, how can you keep these hidden?

Speaker: And he starts taking his clothes off. So they're on the couch, he's starting to take off the Omega's clothes. And then Dokyeom shows up and she throws this guy off of him. She starts hitting him. She's yelling at him that he was taking advantage of him and stuff.

Speaker: And then, of course, Song Ah gets upset. And he says that, you know, he didn't do anything that he didn't want to do And he leaves. And Dokyeom looks like really hurt because she's like, what? Like, she's he's always been asexual to her.

Speaker: And here he is, like said, he was like willingly going to do it with this alpha. um So after they've had this big fight, they have to go back to work together. Things are really super awkward.

Speaker: They're kind of avoiding each other. Eventually that friend. So we find out Mujin, the alpha, he's both of their friend from college. They're all three of them are close. So he takes both them out to dinner. um They're both drinking a whole lot.

Speaker: He's never even here. He for a very long time hasn't even seen Song Ah drink. And he can just tell the vibes are really off. He goes outside to have a smoke. They start fighting like really loudly with each other. Song Ah tells her that she needs to just go get married already.

Speaker: And he's drunk. So he falls onto her. And then we have a flashback of them in college. It was the last time he ever got drunk. He got really drunk and he told her that she should just go date someone that she actually likes or date someone that she likes.

Speaker: So it's kind of just reliving the same thing again, where he's telling her like, she's kind of trying to be vulnerable towards him. And he's saying like, no, go be with someone who wants to be with you. Um, so at this moment, they're both really drunk. She leans in to kiss him and she stops herself and he passes out like onto her.

Speaker: Um, Moojin comes back in Song Ah is passed out. Do Kyeom is, you know, there she's drunk. So he tells her like Moojin tells her that, um,

Speaker: Sung is probably drinking all crazy like this because he's like stressed. He's secretly stressed out about her getting married. So then all three of them are leaving together. um So Sung Ah and Dookhyun live in the big city.

Speaker: Moojin has moved out. He lives like, i don't know if he country or where, but he lives farther to run his little studio. So he lives far. um Song Ah is really drunk and he's insisting to Moo Jin that he needs to come stay at his place because it's late. He lives far. going to be difficult to get home, et cetera.

Speaker: So they go home together, but Moo Jin or, you know, Song Ah is so drunk that Moo Jin puts him in bed and he stares longingly at him. His chest is like a little exposed and he's just staring at his friend sleeping in the bed.

Speaker: And it ends, it sounds ominous with him thinking, just how much do you trust me? So is Mujin gonna be a bad guy? i fucking wish.

Speaker: So here's the thing, this story, i was super into it when I was reading it. I was like, this is this is so good. Anyways, that that's that's where I'm still feeling right here. and I'm like, okay, what's this conflict gonna be? you know the Is the friend not really a friend?

Speaker: Anyway, so they're the next day at work, um Song Ah shows up to do his little secretary duties. And that employee, Omega, from the very beginning, the first one, you know, that got fucked in the bathroom, she's there. And she is demanding to see Dokyeom.

Speaker: And everyone's like, oh, what's going on? And so he's like, let me take care of this. Like, this is my job. she doesn't want to see her again. going to handle it. So he tries to take care of it. And she says, no, I have something to give her. i have to see her.

Speaker: And then Dokyeom shows up and he's like, don't worry about it. I got this. And she's like, you know what? No, I want to hear her out. So they go off together.

Speaker: Later Dokyeom meets up again with Sung Ah and she tells him that this girl did that big old fit in front of everyone just to return back a handkerchief. And she asks him to make dinner reservations for her and her.

Speaker: So, ah you know, I've been calling her the employee. It's going to be good to know her name is Mina. She will be a character going forward. um So they go on a date, Mina and Dokyam.

Speaker: And they actually have a really nice time on this date. um Song Ah drives them back home afterwards. And they are holding hands in the back seat. They're being like, weirdly cute that he's never seen Kyeom act that way.

Speaker: um And then he drops them off. So they're dropping them off at Mina's place and Do Kyeom's like, you know, I'm going to go walk her to her door and don't wait up for me.

Speaker: And so at this point, Song Ah just looks like devastated. Like he's never seen her look that way. He's, yeah, he's not happy. But hey, maybe if we all communicated and stuff, we wouldn't be here.

Speaker: Um, it doesn't run in their family, right? thing these they These ones take the they take the cake, I swear, for miscommunication. Especially, so let's keep in mind they're 26 and 20, sorry, not 26. They are 36 and 38 years old.

Speaker: They met in college like 20 years ago. And they're at this point at this age. Anyways, now we have a little montage of Dohkyom and her new little thing Mina being cute. They are flaunting things around the office. They're letting everyone know that they're together.

Speaker: um Sung Ah tries to step in and he's he's being a petty little bitch. He straight up tells Dohkyom that like Mina is like low class and she's just an employee and she fools around with higher ups on the job. She's no good.

Speaker: and Do-kyum's like, no, actually, she's from a really good family. She's only working here because she wanted work experience. And, you know, I'm the one that seduced her and in the first place anyways. Like, it's not her fault.

Speaker: um But she's like, but, you know, still not sure if I'm going marry her. um Anyway, so the next day Song Ah stays home with the flu, which we find out he takes such good care of himself that he's, like, never been sick before.

Speaker: Do-kyum finds out and she actually cancels her lunch plans with Mina to go see him. Once she walks into his apartment, she is just overcome by the amount of pheromones coming off of him. um And he himself realizes that he doesn't, well, he does have a fever. He is sick. But on top of that, he's in heat when it's not his time.

Speaker: um Apparently he like uses, because he's a denier, he uses like so many suppressants and stuff that he's actually done a good job of usually being able to ward off all of that stuff. Yeah. Um,

Speaker: I believe this is when we find out that he is a dominant Omega and like apparently a very, very high, high class one. And Do-kyum can't believe in this moment that he's been suppressing these really powerful pheromones for like this whole time that she's known him.

Speaker: Um, and she tells him that she can't resist her urges and she gives him the opportunity. She's like, if you need to kick me out, kick me out right now. And he doesn't kick her out. um So they start making out. She gives him a handjob on the couch. And then he says that they need to stop because of Mina. And she says no. Like she's waited so long for this that this is all that she can think about. And she keeps kissing him.

Speaker: She fingers him She pulls out her lady saber. We all, we love that. um And she sticks in just the tip. And then her phone starts ringing.

Speaker: And she wants to ignore it. She's like, I don't care. by Song Ah is like, no, it's Mina. You need to answer it. Like you, you need to go. And she's like, not going to, she keeps going. But then he pulls away and he's like, you know what? No, I came into my senses. This needs to stop right here.

Speaker: So she quietly gets up and she leaves and he starts crying.

Speaker: Anyways, so, yeah um He returns to work the next day, or I guess a couple days because he was sick or in heat or whatever. And when he gets there, he finds out that Dokyom is not talking to Mina anymore.

Speaker: So he doesn't know how to feel about that. He's leaving. He's out in like the parking lot. And then he sees Mina come up and confront Dokyom in the parking lot. And Dokyom's like, I'm a scumbag. I almost did something bad. Like, you you don't deserve this. So I'm backing off.

Speaker: And Mina's like, no, I believe that you'll be good once you have a family. And once we make it official, like, I think you can, I think you want to be good and I think you'll be good to me. And so then they go to Do-kyum's house and they announced their relationship to Do-kyum's whole family.

Speaker: um The whole family just looks concerned. The parents just look concerned. And then, um oh God, which is the brother with the glasses? Do-jin. Dojun.

Speaker: Dojun! Alright. So Dojun tells her like he's concerned and he kind of tells her, like, why are you rushing this? And he's he's at this point, and before like he was being a little judgy, like, yo, you're a hoe. And now he's obviously, they don't get into it. He's obviously coming from the thing of, like, hey, I rushed into, um I was put into a marriage with a, you know, Omega that didn't work out. So he's, like, concerned for his sister.

Speaker: That's all we really get about that, though. um So Next, we cut to Song Ah turning in his resignation. He is resigning as her secretary. He simply leaves a letter and he takes off.

Speaker: After he leaves, he decides that he's going to be reckless and he goes and gets really drunk at a bar. course, immediately an alpha puts the moves on him and he goes to the bathroom with him.

Speaker: he wants to He wants to have sex with him, apparently. They start doing stuff. The alpha asks him to suck him off and he freaks out and he runs out. He doesn't do it. So he goes straight to their friend Mujin and he's ah really upset. He tells Mujin that he can't handle Do-kyung getting married and that it really hurts.

Speaker: And so in this moment, Mujin kisses him and he actually offers to sleep with him. You know, he's like, I understand like you were scared because I was a stranger, but if you want to sleep with someone like you trust, like I'll do that.

Speaker: And he's like, and this he's using his pheromones to calm him down. um By the way, he looks like already looks like different now. when you've seen him before, he always has his hair pulled back and he looks like super cool, but kind of nerdy. No, now he's got his long hair hanging down. This dude's super hot, said long black hair, stubbly. i believe I believe he's already shirtless at this point. I think when he showed up, he was like standing there without a shirt on.

Speaker: He's a very, very beautiful alpha. um Anyway, so they kind of get started. He's being really gentle with him. He keeps confirming consent, you know, saying, are you sure you want to do this? Are you good? Are you doing okay?

Speaker: Like this man would be such a great lover. And Song Ah's like, yes, yes. And then finally he's like, no, no, you know, i can't do this. Can we stop? Like, I'm afraid that if we do so through this, I won't be able to see you again.

Speaker: So they stop. But he spends the night and, oh no, he doesn't, sorry, before he spending the night, he actually in that moment asks Mujin if Mujin always knew that he wasn't actually asexual. And Mujin says that, yeah, he's known that for a long time.

Speaker: He also knows that he's not actually a second gender denier. And he knows that he's in love with Do Khyom. um So that's when dirt Song Ah says that he lied because he didn't want Do Khyom to see him as an Omega. Because if she did, then that's all she'd see him as is just as an Omega.

Speaker: And that he would rather be her friend than just another toss aside Omega to her. Um, so then he goes to sleep and Moo Jin's watching him sleep.

Speaker: He's so obsessed with him. Like Moo Jin's really in love with him and he's watched all these years, you know, like 20 years. He's just seen him being, never even noticed him cause he's so in love with someone else. Um, so Kyeom gets the resignation letter, letter, letter, and she is freaking the fuck out. Like full crazy panic. She's calling and calling, calling. He's not answering. um she goes to his house, he's not there, so she goes to Mujin's house, not expecting him to be there, she just really needs her friend Mujin to comfort her, and when she gets there, Mujin's standing in the door, he's shirtless, he's got his hair down, and he reeks of Sang-Ah's pheromones.

Speaker: um So she, like, pushes her way in, she runs inside, and she sees Sang-Ah naked in Mujin's bed, and like, She's like freaking out still and she's pissed and Mujin tells her that like, so she's like, you know, how how could I not know this? Like, he's my best friend. I know everything about him. And Mujin's like, you don't actually know anything about him.

Speaker: So the next day Song Ah wakes up in Mujin's bed. He apologizes to him. he tells him he's sorry that he' for if he was pressuring him while he was drunk. ah Mujin says, no, don't worry about it. Like, I wanted to sleep with you because I like you and I always have.

Speaker: he gives him his confession. And that Song Ah just never noticed, he never even noticed his feelings because he was always so focused on Do Kyeom.

Speaker: So finally Do Kyeom gets ahold of him and she confronts him about the resignation. She says that she, oh, they'd been kind of avoiding each other for a little bit or i don't know. But so she said she'd been avoiding him because she really hated the fact that um on that night, so she'd always done her best to respect him.

Speaker: you know, that he was asexual and a second gender denier. And so she felt guilty that on that night that they had, you know, fooled around that she saw him as Omega that night, even though he doesn't identify as one.

Speaker: And so she felt like guilty about that. um But then she asked him, she's like, are you even really asexual? and she asked him, like, were you with Mujin? And he's kind of getting like, ah like doesn't know how to answer. And so she tells him like she straight up saw him in his bed.

Speaker: um So he tells her that he was frustrated and he drank too much because he was afraid of her getting married. And this is when he confesses and tells her that he always liked her, but he thought it wouldn't work out. So he settled on just being close to her. And that's why he chose to be her secretary.

Speaker: um She gets really pissed. it's Like she doesn't take his confession well. She gets mad. She tells him that he made a fool out of her, that he lied about her and that he was making judgments about her. Basically that he didn't think she'd want to be with him because she's a slut.

Speaker: So I love that the first time we get a female alpha, there's kind of a lot of slut shaming going on.

Speaker: Which is crazy because, yeah. Yeah, and like, i know some of like our male alphas and things like, you know, we get the sense that they're like playboys. But this is the first one where we've like seen her fucking a lot of ah omegas.

Speaker: Like, literally seen it. And yeah, I don't know. I just said don't don't love the... She's doing what Alphas do. And I just feel like she's... Even though, like, he's kind of not judging her. But she kind of was. And then she's accusing him of judging her for that.

Speaker: But she's pissed. She storms off. um She goes home. And she breaks down in front of Mina. And she tells her, like, I thought that these two were my closest friends. But they both tricked me. And they've been fooling me all along.

Speaker: And she collapses. And Mina holds her. So then we go to Mujin and Song Ah, they're together, and Mujin tells Song Ah that he doesn't want to see him suffer anymore because of Dokyom, and he asks him to stay by his side.

Speaker: So my question here is, can we end this fucking story right here? They have both been horrible to each other. They've supposedly been in love for 20 years. I've never seen them have a good time. I've never seen them enjoy each other's company.

Speaker: Now they each have someone that's supporting them. They're both in the arms of someone who actually cares about them. Can we just end the story here? That would have been perfect, but it's not going to work that way, right?

Speaker: It would have been a boring story, but it doesn't get better. So it doesn't end. We keep going. So we flashback to college. In some ways, we're beating the dead horse. It kind just gives us the full story. um They're in college. Sangha's younger than everyone else, you know, and so there's some other people at this. They're at like a party drinking and stuff. He's not drinking. He's not old enough. Well, not quite yet. Someone like says like, oh, you're going to be legal soon. Is there anyone that you'd like? Because everyone's just waiting for you. Everyone just wants this pretty little Omega to become legal so they can hook up with him. And then this person is like, oh, Do-kyom is going snatch you up right away as soon as she can. And then Do-kyom is just like, p as if.

Speaker: So because she like responded like that and she's she was just we find out that she's was doing her best not to look at him in that way because he was a minor and, you know, he was younger.

Speaker: She's always like tried to be respectful and he's just kind of done things to make her that hard. So just over her responding with as if to her getting with him, he from there decides to tell everyone at this party that he's asexual and and a second gender denier.

Speaker: And apparently like,

Speaker: And like of everyone at the party, Dokyom and Mujin both, they're both there and they both just look like devastated hearing that he's asexual. Apparently that's the moment when Dokyom got really obsessed with sex. That's when she started freaking like sleeping around.

Speaker: um yeah And so even though she was trying not to see him as like a romantic or sexual person, like he obviously still mattered to her. And so just the thing they show is like, you know in college she had really short hair and in passing he just kind of told her like,

Speaker: Sang-ah told her that he thought that she would look really nice with long hair. Yes. So him being second gender denier, allegedly, and allegedly asexual, is what caused her to be hella sexual?

Speaker: Yeah. If she can't have his heart, then she just, she only wants his heart, but she can't have it because he's asexual. Apparently, even though... I mean garbage writing I'm sorry it's so bad it's so bad and wow does this was 20 years ago so she has spent 20 years sleeping around just because she can't be with him just because when he was 18 sorry he was 19 almost 20 he told her that he was asexual that's fucking ridiculous especially like honestly after so like oh yeah okay cool we have like a player female alpha like go get it you know

Speaker: No. It's all these things that I want. I would love a female player alpha who's just cool as shit. not Not this. No. This has so much potential and everything just is wrong. Uh-huh. Okay. Sorry. I'll shut up now. Anyways, so back in college, she had a short hair. He told her he thought she'd look nice with long hair. So she grew her hair out.

Speaker: So knowing that and knowing tropes, we now, so this flashback is over. We go back to Dokyeom in her real life. Can you guess what she does next? as she caught her hair She cuts her hair off.

Speaker: So yeah, she cuts all her hair off. um Her little girlfriend, I think, comes in and sees her doing it. She's just lost her fucking shit. She's like crazy. So Sung Ah has started living with Moo Jin he's working in his workshop.

Speaker: He still hasn't answered his confession, but Moo Jin's like being very just like, you take your time, you're doing what you need to do. He says like, I think you'll eventually fall for me. And then he tells him that he wants to close up his shop and he's wants to go back to the family business so that he can get a bigger place for the two of them to live in.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker: So Do-kyum, who's very out of her mind, she hires a photographer to stalk them. She's pissed off and she is obsessing on them being together.

Speaker: In some, okay, I get it because she literally wasn't with him because she was being respectful about him being asexual. But she has someone. It didn't work out that way. She needs to get the fuck over it and not be a psycho.

Speaker: Especially with their friend being like, you actually really don't know him. Yeah, and it's true because he figured out that he, I don't know how, but he just somehow figured out that he wasn't really asexual and stuff.

Speaker: you know he seems He seems like the type that like pays attention to other people. like He's sensitive. She's not. You know, she's she's just been treating him as her secretary. Like, yeah, they they claim to be best friends, but she just bosses him around and he cleans up her messes.

Speaker: She's full of herself, whereas he isn't. I mean, he could be a little, but not. Like, he's more observant of others than putting himself forward.

Speaker: Yeah, no doubt. I have another question. Yes. Since... Our Omega has been using a shit ton of suppressants all these years. Have they brought up any side effects or is it just okay?

Speaker: They don't talk about the shit at all. Oh, okay. Yeah. Normally it's like, oh, these don't fucking work anymore. Nope. They don't make a big deal about it. Cool. Okay. Yeah. They really don't get into that stuff much at all, to be honest.

Speaker: Like they just mentioned, you know, that his, when he does like that, no one's ever smelled his pheromones and stuff. So when they do, it's like, oh my God, he's got like crazy powerful pheromones. That's all we know. Um, yeah, so she hires a photographer to go stalk them. um She thinks that Song Ah lied about liking her. he doesn't even think that he liked her. i don't know why would lie about that.

Speaker: um At one point, her girlfriend, fiance, whatever comes in and she like tries to blow her. And as she's blowing her, she starts picturing first Sang-Ah going down on her, but then it immediately turns into like her imagination, just picturing Sang-Ah and Moo-Jin fucking each other. like She's crazy obsessing on this. um So she stops her girlfriend and like she tells her that she needs a little more time, but she promises things are going to get better.

Speaker: so yeah um so Moo Jin he goes and he sells his shop and he rejoins his family business which is a huge company they're friends with Do Gyeong's you know family's big company um so they have this annual party anyway but now they're like the party's gonna be extra big because they're celebrating him returning um so she gets the invitation and she's actually like kind of upset to see that he gave up what he loved I kind of think part of her like that's another thing that she was jealous of him about was that he could have, had you know, from the beginning been in the big family business and he chose to go. He was in it. He took a break to go do what he he loved and, you know, he took a, wasn't making money and stuff. But yeah, so she's like mad about that.

Speaker: I get that. but also he had his own reasons where he's like, I want to be able to provide for both of us. So in a way he gave up what he loved because he found someone else to love.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. but She doesn't know that's his reason for coming back. what's So she'll be more pissed if she knows that's the reason. So the two of them, Moo Jin Song Ah, the Omega, they move back to Seoul together.

Speaker: um But they get a place with separate rooms. So they've been like, so they're not together. He like has never given the answer to his confession, but they've been living together for a while. um So at this party, Kyeom is,

Speaker: And Mujin, they run each into each other almost right away. um He immediately comments on her cutting her hair, you know, just kind of saying, oh, you've cut your hair. It's like we're back in college again. And she tells him she's surprised that he hasn't cut his hair. You know, he's gone back to the family business, but he still has the long hair.

Speaker: And he tells her that he's stopped denying himself of the things that he can have, which was a total jab, followed up by he tells her that he's living with Song Ah.

Speaker: So he straight up told her, like, He's basically telling her, you could have had Song Ah for all these years, and you didn't. And now I get to keep my long hair, and I get to keep him. So he's being a little bit of a dick, but he's allowed. and Anyways, so she immediately goes to her fiancé, girlfriend, whatever, Mina, and she tells her that she wants to move up the engagement.

Speaker: um So then later Mujin goes back home. Song Ah's We found out that Mujin was really trying to get him to go to the party with him and he refused to go. um Mujin wanted to tell him about seeing like Dookyam and like what she was up to. And he said, no, he doesn't even want to hear about her He's just not ready yet.

Speaker: And Mujin is still being like, it's okay. I'll wait for you as long as you need. It's been a while. um So then this is when we find out that Song Ah's family actually has like a big old business. um He's from like Old Money.

Speaker: you know his, he's a very dominant Omega. um His family wanted him to work for their company. But then when he was leaving college, he told them that he wanted to work for Kyung and Do Kyung and her family. um And they said like, they were only okay with it because it was her and her family and her family's business. Like they loved her.

Speaker: They really respected her family. So that's the only reason like they didn't make a big fit. So his grandparents, separately call both of them over to their house. So our Omega Do Kyeom, not Do Kyeom, sorry, Omega Sung Ah and our female Alpha Do Kyeom, they both show up there together. They haven't spoken.

Speaker: And this is the first time they have to see each other is in front of his grandparents. And basically his grandparents are talking out like, oh, we heard that Do Kyeom wants to get married. So like, obviously, just go ahead, you two get married.

Speaker: And Sang Ah is like, yeah, um about that, like, she already has someone like she's getting married already. And they're like, oh, that's too bad. That's awkward. and that's it.

Speaker: um So when Sang Ah comes home, he is greeted by the invitation to her engagement party. We then skip to the from that to Do Khyom is burning one of the pictures that a stalker took of him and Moo Jin together. They're both kind of smiling in this picture. And so she's burning it. It's getting to their faces and then she puts it out before it can burn their faces.

Speaker: um Sung Ah says that he realizes seeing Dogyom again made him... Do... Sorry. Her name's spelled with a G, but it's spelled like said like a K. So I keep fucking it up. So it's Dogyom, but it's spelled D-O-G-Y-E-O-M.

Speaker: eo So yeah, fun learning curves, but I'm doing my best. Anyway, so he says that seeing Do Khyom again made him realize that he didn't want to ruin his relationship with Moo Jin because he's obsessing over her. So he wants to let that go. So he asks Moo Jin to sleep with him and they do, they sleep together.

Speaker: And I want to love it. It's this hot alpha with long hair, this pretty tiny little Omega with the big eyes. They both look so fucking sad.

Speaker: And there's nothing in joy about it, fool about it for anyone. Not me. not And it's not even bad. It's not like it's like they don't, I mean, they look like they're having a bad time. The sex is fine. i should i should be happy about this. And I'm just like,

Speaker: Everyone's miserable. Pity sex. Yeah, basically. Yeah, like I don't want to see you settling, but also you shouldn't be settling. He's been so good to you. She's been awful to you.

Speaker: and anyways And here's the thing is I'm usually a bit of not a sucker, but I often i know a lot of people. aren't as understanding as I can be about the whole like, well, this is the person they loved first. They've loved this person all along. So sometimes we do get that second love interest that gets introduced. and you're like, you know what? that love interest is good, but that's not who they've been in love with all along.

Speaker: I don't feel that way here. I'm like, no, he needs to get the fuck over it. They both have been bad to each other and this guy is perfect.

Speaker: Anyways, so now Mina, the fiancee, She finds the picture that's half burned and she's like something weird is going on.

Speaker: She goes around asking questions. She then, you know, she gets answers from people. This is where I'm starting to get like, okay, I'm sick of all this nonsense. owned Someone tells her about, oh, she was friends with the secretary.

Speaker: And so she goes back to Dokyom and she asks her why she's rushing the engagement. don't even remember what bullshit reason she gave her. but this point, I don't fucking care. Great storytelling.

Speaker: This is where I stopped fucking caring. No, I stopped caring a while ago. Anyway, so we are at the day of the engagement party. um Both of them are getting ready. This is the first time that Dookyeom does not look fucking hot.

Speaker: She's in this hideous, like, salmon-colored pantsuit. Oh, so actually with her short hair. So when she was in college, I don't know what was up with her short hair. It actually didn't look good. And, like, I'm a fan of short hair.

Speaker: Now that she's, like, recut her hair, her short hair looks really good now. Not with this fucking pantsuit. Damn, and a pantsuit normally looks great. Yeah, no, she's worn a lot of pants. she She wears a lot of suits and things at work. She's done both. She's done the slutty little dresses. She's done the pantsuit. She looks amazing in all of it.

Speaker: No, she's in this ugly salmon-colored thing with this, like, long scarf thing hanging in the front. I was like, girl, really?

Speaker: Anyways, that's beside the point, but sometimes we just gotta talk about it. um Anyway, so for some reason, the day of the engagement party, Moo Jin tells Song Ah that Do Kyeom didn't always sleep around and that when she was met him, he was underage.

Speaker: And then she found out he was asexual. So the reason she asked him to be her secretary was just to keep him around. We've heard this a million times. He's just kind of Basically, Mujin's, you know, he says he's always new, but he didn't want to tell him because he liked him. So we're kind of finding out that Mujin's always known and about 100% about Do Kyeom's feelings and that.

Speaker: I guess it's supposed to make him sound like he's being selfish, that he didn't tell him this stuff because he wanted him. It's not his fucking business. So i was gonna say, it's not his place to tell anything. No, like, and the only reason why he's telling it now is because all of this is like escalated. Yeah, everything's escalated and stuff. And I mean, we'll we'll get into how this scene is going. um So he's trying to make himself out to be the bad guy. It feels like he's always trying to make himself out to be the bad guy. And he's such a good guy. Anyway, so he's saying that he didn't tell him because he liked him.

Speaker: And he says that he believes that if Sung Ah makes the effort and gives him time that he'll eventually fall for him. But he tells him he doesn't want him to make an effort for him to fall for him. And he says that on the other side, he was also the only person that Do Kyeom's ever had in her heart.

Speaker: So he tells him, he says, you need to be greedy and you need to try to have it your way for once in your life. So Moo Jin tells him to go after the one he loves. That could be cute.

Speaker: It's not. She's not what's best for him, in my opinion. And I think most people feel this way reading this. Like... So bad. Anyways, this part seems important. It's not. We get to the engagement party and there are there's Buell being all cute and his parents are just swinging him at the engagement party.

Speaker: And that's all that matters. Cut to backstage at the engagement party. Sorry, it's a ceremony. It's ceremony. And Mina comes in. She walks right up to Dokyom.

Speaker: She tells her she found the photo. She says, I know you're in love with someone else. um And then Dokyom tells her, well, yeah, I was in love. Like, shouldn't say I'm in love with him. She's like, well, yeah, but like he didn't want to get mixed up with me because I'm promiscuous. And he said he was asexual because he didn't want anything to do with that.

Speaker: um And she's like, and the other guy was in the picture. He was my friend, but he hid everything from me. And the truth is, like, i just wanted to be happy and live a good life with you so that I could get back at them.

Speaker: um And I really thought that I could do that. And I thought I could be good to you. But the truth is that song ah just means way too much to me. And so Mina says, all right, it's called off. And she storms out of there.

Speaker: good for her yeah she's she's not as well she's an interesting character because i like she's exactly the same as mujin pretty much except like he's i just feel like they've handled him better and he just comes across as like a good guy in this and mina's kind of like what the fuck is she doing here we do find out that she um i don't know why she's all like how she knew her anything but she was always obsessed with dokiam and like you know her She comes from a big family and could have worked for their business, but she said she wanted to get experience. She purposely went and worked for her because she wanted their paths to cross and stuff. so

Speaker: Anyways, she's done. She walks out. She deserves better too. I don't care if she's not as cool as Moojin. Both of them deserve better. But no, don't go finding each other or getting together. That's that's bullshit. um So she storms out of the room and immediately after she leaves, Sung Ah comes walking right in that door.

Speaker: He runs to Dookyom. He tells her Don't get married. I'm so sorry that I've been lying. um i was running away from you because I was always so afraid of getting hurt. And so she tells him that she called off the engagement because she just couldn't get over him.

Speaker: Technically, she didn't call off the engagement. Technically, she should have been the one going after him. Right? I'm just saying. Yeah. A selfish one needs to grovel. Yeah. I mean, you can argue they're both selfish and have done things that were wrong. But yeah, really, she should be the one going for him She wronged him more. Especially how she told Mina, oh, I went i was going to get back at them by...

Speaker: like moving on with you oh yeah her hers was like deliberate yeah you know his he was trying to like watch in because he wanted to move on and he wanted to have this you know be over and she was with someone he wanted her to be able to be happy like i really do believe i do believe that that she he wanted her to be happy no matter what that meant it's like was like hey stop you have mina yeah it was a out of pettiness it was like hey like this is not Yeah, he respected that. You know, when they almost did it, she wasn't thinking about Mina and he was.

Speaker: And anyways, that's what happened. um She tells him that her life has has been absolutely miserable without him. And she asks him to stay by her side. that classic line.

Speaker: They embrace and hold each other. and one of them says, we're so foolish. Why did we have to take the long road? The end.

Speaker: We have side stories, but they' they'll only take a second. They're they're quick. That's the ending. That's all it took. So this one conversation that they could have had 20 years ago, 18 years ago, whatever.

Speaker: side couples had better stories. Yeah, right? I mean, there were, yeah. This is.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm like out of things to say. Everything was just done so wrong. I did not want to be rooting for the male alpha, male omega because, you know, that's what we always have. That's what we love that.

Speaker: But i was like, oh, finally, something different. We get to the female alpha with the male omega. And I'm like, I don't want that. I actually really shipped the other two. They look cute. Well, I think the main couple look nice together, too.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So. Okay, side stories. Jumping into the side stories. They're super quick. There's only a couple of them. So a few months later, we find out that Song Ah actually did go work for his own family, for his grandfather's business, and that he and Dokyam only meet up every couple weeks or so, basically whenever we cant they can.

Speaker: um One time where they say they just meet up, they go to dinner, they catch up. um One time, she tells him that she went to Beul's wedding and he's kind of like, what? Isn't that your like toddler nephew? And she's like, yeah, because of my engagement in the party, he got really obsessed with weddings and he begged his parents to let him have one. Um, so he had a wedding. Don't worry. He's divorced already.

Speaker: Um, so one night after one of these dinners, that's all we've been doing for a while. Um, I think it's been about six months or so. Yeah, i believe so. Anyways, after dinner, um,

Speaker: Song Ah finally asks Do Kyung if she wants to spend the night and she's kind of like, wait, what? And he's like, yeah, like it's been long enough. Like come spend the night.

Speaker: She pulls out her phone and he's like, what are you doing? And she's like, I'm taking off work but tomorrow. And he just looks terrified. He's seen what she can do in her sexual endeavors. He had to come make sure someone wasn't dead.

Speaker: So his little face looks super scared. They have sex. I wish I cared. i really fucking don't.

Speaker: She's got big tears. Did he last? Did he last? Like, kind of, like, he did pretty well. But so then he actually, the next morning, so I guess this part's cute. The next morning, he, like, apologized, kind of. And he's like, oh, I guess you took the day off for nothing. And she's like, no, like, I didn't take the day off to do it with you. I took the day off to took care to take care of you.

Speaker: So he did he did okay. um I guess he'll get better. But yeah, I just wasn't excited. And it should have, it was like, it could have been a great sex scene. I've never seen that. You know, she ah she didn't take her clothes off before when they were pulling around. And now this time was the first time she's totally naked.

Speaker: She's like, she's got big tits, big dick. Do we call them dicks? i don't know what we call them. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And lightsabers. Yeah. She's got a big old lightsaber. It could have been great. And I just did not fucking care.

Speaker: So, oh yeah, so then we get to um her getting hair extensions. First i was like, oh my God, they show her with long hair. I was like, wow, did that much time pass? And they're she got hair extensions because he likes her with long hair.

Speaker: So cool. Again, one time we have a female alpha and let's force her to like long hair because that's what the guy likes. oh I do want to talk about just, I have a reason to bring this up. Like um I do, it's obvious from this story, like with everything with loves and illusion, we have really extreme size differences with alphas and omegas. Like the omegas are all super, super tiny. So I thought it was kind of cool though, that they stayed that way with like, cause I feel like most omega verses, there's such a size difference. And then you see the male omega with like a female beta or even a female omega. And you're like, oh my God, he's like so much bigger.

Speaker: But yeah, no. So this is like the female alpha is like, so so much bigger and he's so small in that. don't know. That was kind of fun for me, but there's a reason i'm bringing that up now. We'll talk about that in the future.

Speaker: um So anyways, I don't know why she goes into his closet. Oh, she finds a box. Oh, she thinks, that i think she thinks it was like shoes that she bought him. And she was like, why hasn't he worn these shoes? I bought him. She opens the box. Do you know what's in the box?

Speaker: Is that either going to be sex toys or mementos of them? It's sex toys. Okay. Because he had a lot of sex toys before because he was hiding being asexual. So she finds his sex toys. um she First she makes him use them.

Speaker: and then of course she does the thing that Tops always do in this situation. She gets all jealous and stuff. um And so basically at one point he's so he's using it on the wall like he was in the beginning of the story.

Speaker: And so then she makes him sucker off. So he's got it from both ends. He's got it in the back and his mouth. um That's about it. so basically the side stories were like two sex scenes. And I'm like, you know what? The story really kind of wasn't that sexual. I didn't really need that.

Speaker: So our very last chapter, you need to know that this last side story is very, very short because the timing is actually hilarious. So their old friend, Moo Jin, he invites them both out to dinner.

Speaker: They haven't seen each other. They talk, blah, blah, blah. Who cares? They all make up. They decide they want to be friends again. They acknowledge that they can't, you know, things won't be the same, but that they care about each other so much and they all three want to be friends.

Speaker: Blah, bla blah, blah, blah, blah. So Do Kyung and Sung they go home together and she slides a ring on his finger and she says, let's get married.

Speaker: That's really only a few panels after them having dinner with their friend. now we go to our next panel. And congratulations! Dookyom is holding a little baby. Sang-ah is sitting in the bed.

Speaker: Her family is around them. And it just says, a loving spouse, an adorable child, everything I ever wanted. The end. It literally went dinner, ring, there's a baby.

Speaker: Even the author was like, okay, we got it. Let's let's just get this done. They show one glance of the baby. She's beautiful. They mentioned she looks just like Dokyam. I assume it's a she. She had the really long eyelashes. She looked kind of like a blonde of the really pretty Omega baby in the other one.

Speaker: Anyways, that's it. and they there's In fact, it's like so quick. so you just She's holding the baby in like you know a little baby bundle. so you don't really and then They just show the baby's face. then they just show Song Ah like separately in the bed. So I've actually tried looking for it.

Speaker: You can tell the author probably doesn't like the story because there's like no additional art. There's not a single artwork that shows their family. Not to mention this baby was born when Buell was a toddler and before the others even adopted their daughter.

Speaker: And I mean, maybe we could take, no i don't. And she never comes up again. I was going to say, to spoil anything. no, that's what I was holding back on too. we can, I guess, talk about that more later. But even, like i said, I don't know if this obviously takes place during the Love is an Illusion side stories. I don't know if it actually came out at that time.

Speaker: So I don't know if they could retroactively, you know, have that baby in those side stories. But because she would have been around. She would have been there when they, I mean, I know they don't really show much of after, you know, the other daughters adopted, but.

Speaker: I've just never seen this baby pop up anywhere else and it seems like she should have.

Speaker: Huh. Not to spoil anything, but... Did I maybe miss something? No, was gonna see. She doesn't show up in the next side... Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. like um for I'm like, maybe I wasn't. I'm like trying to rack my brain. I'm like, but the thing is, I've already read this and I've seen, you know, I feel like I spoilers. I've read superstar. um I feel like I would have caught on immediately and been like, Oh my God, it's her. It's her. It's baby. Yeah. I'm like trying to like rack my brain. was like, no, I do not recall their child. Yeah.

Speaker: And their child would be pretty close. Yeah, I'm assuming she would be, i don't want to get too into it, but Bin's age. you know she Yeah, she's close to Bin's age, and they probably live in the city by now.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, they're back. She was, yeah she never moved away from her parents. Oh, that's true. She was living in that house with, i think most of the siblings and stuff all lived there.

Speaker: Yeah, I don't. That's crazy. And we all know how much his parents love Joel and his mama. Yeah. Yeah, so hopefully, yeah, so I know they, I guess I did bring this stuff up because it kind didn't matter. I know they kind of, oh yeah, I think when they got engaged, they did say something about like, oh, they were Or no, I guess was when they were sleeping together. You know, they mentioned that they didn't want people to know they were being on the DL because it literally happened at her engagement party.

Speaker: And her family wasn't that happy about it. But by the time the baby came, I believe her family was there and stuff. So they're going to get over it and be happy. Well, yeah, they get cute babies out of it. Yeah.

Speaker: but You could tell she's also kind of there um their disgraced child. I mean, I guess. Which kind of pisses me off because, once again, female alpha Yeah, and they're like, she's just the slut.

Speaker: I mean, I guess they kind of look down on most of their children. You know, the one is divorced. I'm sure they weren't happy about that. The one knocked up but and at first a an Omega that they didn't think was valuable.

Speaker: I love they never talk about the oldest brother. It seems like he just did things like fine. He's married. He has at least a kid. Yeah, that isn't too annoying. Yeah, it's funny because I remember if I remember in Love's an Illusion, that kid's just and he's like shows up in this one, too. he goes always He's just kind of there and stuff. And he says stuff. And you're like, who the fuck is this kid? Yeah, that I feel like they don't say his name until Love's an Illusion. He gets mentioned for a second, too.

Speaker: yeah Because if I remember correctly, he had a Team Buell shirt. Yeah, he had the team. but He was the one leading the Team Buell shirt. Sorry, when I said Love's an Illusion, just now I meant Superstar, but. So I'm like, anyways.

Speaker: So yeah, this is, I feel like the most untalked about um story in this whole world. and I think for reasons.

Speaker: Pardon of me. It's hard because yes, I would have loved a better like female alpha male mega representation. But also, like, I would love some good GL.

Speaker: I'm just saying. yeah They had it in the cards. Some of Megaverse GL. Hello? I know. It has to be out there. But I i mean, but maybe it's not because i've i've I've been on forums of people asking about, like, alpha, female alpha, male omega. And, like, what I can tell, like, an actual, like, official monroir.

Speaker: There's all there's I've heard of a third one and I can't find it. There's at least two, but there's like not much out there. But yeah, I've never even looked up. i I mean, I just don't think that the GL is really there. I hope it is and we find it. But I kind of don't think in this straight up Omega vs. Manwa, I kind of don't think that's there.

Speaker: don't think so either. And it's interesting because... You'll get hints of it in like other stories, like, you know like minor couples and stuff. And I'm like, okay, cool. Give us more information. Give us more. fucking new And you're like, don't get me wrong. We love our BL, but we need other representation too. Yep. I would love that. And it's but it kind of feels like Love's an Illusion in particular has teased it a couple times.

Speaker: Yeah. And never really gone for it. And they could. That's the thing. Yeah. We can probably talk about that a little bit more next week. o Are we excited?

Speaker: i If everyone can guess, next week we are discussing Superstar.

Speaker: What? What would we then think that? right Surprise, surprise, surprise. Anyway, so I feel like this is the first time where we've straight up and we've been like, ah, this one's not our favorite. I think it's the first one where I've been like, I hate this. And the thing is, I was really enjoying it to a point. I remember the first time I read it, I read it all in one sitting, I believe. And it was because it kept me going and going. And then even now reading it again and taking notes, I felt the same way. i was like, wait, this is really good. this I'm really getting into this. and I wasm like no, no, I know how it goes.

Speaker: For me, it's like after that point when they're both and I could see they're both being comforted by their other at the same time. That's the point where i'm like. we gotta stop. And it just goes circles. and I just never saw a spark between them.

Speaker: and they They didn't even show like in college something like cute that happened or some bond that they have. She's like, oh shit, that's a pretty cute omega. Yeah. Everyone wants him. Everyone likes her. She's the only one worthy or something like that.

Speaker: ah Yeah. And it's hard because i love and I feel for this like second male like second love interests because normally they are really good for and no no i i feel like it's almost 50 50 they do the ones where they have them do something horrible and then you're like okay but then a lot of them i've read a lot of stories where i'm like oh like i feel i just at least hurt often i do feel though like i get it they loved each other first they were meant to be

Speaker: I, and then, but yeah, i'm like, I want something good for this one. I wish sometimes in those stories, well, so it's funny because sometimes they do and sometimes they don't like give them a new love interest or something. And like, there's, there's a big one we will talk about eventually in the big one where I do feel that way.

Speaker: Tide and Twilight. What? What? um But yeah, but then I'm even thinking, I remember one story, not an Omegaverse, I won't say any names, but um I read something where that totally happened, where the second love interest, almost called him Alpha, he's not Alpha, the second, he's not actually a top, the second love interest is like so, so sweet, and like, oh i want something good to happen to him. They do like one story, side story, where they meet someone, and I was like, that was horrific, god that's not what I wanted for him. Aw,

Speaker: Well, anyway. This story, I wish it was that way. I know. i Yeah, and like, i wish I wish we could get a whole side story where this guy gets something nice come his way, but. Especially, he sounds like a cutie.

Speaker: the the other love interest, he's, you would adore him. He's hot. like he's I'm looking at him right now. ah He's like artsy. Yeah, you can tell he's aged.

Speaker: so He has like the little eye bags. Yeah, yeah. like i don't even know if he's aged because he's the same age as her. So they're both like 38. But yeah, I mean, they make him look a little older. He looks larger.

Speaker: I was gonna say that the maturity in them because yeah, look at spoilers for superstars. But um did like Dude, she didn't get fucking... What's it called? Injections?

Speaker: Yeah, right? I know. They kind of were aging characters, then they stopped. um Yeah. if you think about it, he's probably about the same age... and so now As Yeah, as his older siblings.

Speaker: Who are more aged. But yeah meanwhile, the Omega looks like a fucking baby. yeah you he like... He's like two years younger than them, and he looks like...

Speaker: Yeah, yeah. that's Like, I thought it was two girls going into it. It wasn't until I read a few panels. Like, oh, he's a boy. Okay. I was like, I'm fine either way. But, uh, damn. Anywho. Anywho. Thank you for presenting. Of course, of course.

Speaker: um I hope everyone enjoyed that, even though it's like it's not the most enjoyable story, but also, like, it's almost fun to be mad about it. Except it's it's pacing is bad. Like it's like said it's actually very enjoyable. I'd say 75% of the way through. And then in the end, you're like, i just want to end. I just want this over.

Speaker: It's just how quick, like you said, like they had a dinner, meet up with a friend, which I'm like, damn, you guys made him out to Loki be a villain. Yeah, right. Proposal and then baby, like that is bad pacing.

Speaker: Yeah. And the worst part was they didn't even ask the friend out. He was like, yeah, I reached out because I knew no one would if I didn't. It's kind like, okay, he's been the one like doing everything in the first place. So they're happy, they're together and he's still the one like, it would been better if they had been like, hey, we need to fix things with him. He was our friend. Yeah. Like, okay, they run off together and they forgot about me. But like, because like, he didn't, he didn't do anything without consent. And then in the end, he was like, you need to go be selfish. Yeah.

Speaker: And they were selfish. They forgot about him. Yeah, right? though They totally just moved on from him. Damn. And he's like, by the way, can we get dinner? Let's be friends. And they're like, okay, let's be friends. Oh, we had a baby. Justice for him. Right? Justice for Mujin.

Speaker: He's too hot to be single. Right? He's hot and he's nice and he's considerate. Yeah. like Good alpha. Licking at him out of like all the Love is Illusion characters, he's definitely built different.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. i think And he's like a cool one because he was, like most of them, came from those big business families. He chose to be artsy and stuff. and He did, I didn't say this, he did say, you know, he went back to the big business and all that, but he did say he makes pottery for fun and he still does his art. um He says he loves it more when it's for fun or something like that.

Speaker: so That makes sense. Sometimes turning your hobby into businesses and move. Yep. Totally. All right. Well, thank you for rereading this and presenting it because I definitely had no interest in it. okay Yeah, i I think I saved a lot of people out there, um you know, a couple hours of their life.

Speaker: and they Luckily, it's not pretty short. That's good. and the only thing of so sorry ah to say i think it was only about 28 chapters and three side stories or something like that. Maybe 30 and three.

Speaker: was pretty short. Yeah, that's not too bad. And yet, only way too long. um The only thing I like that you described, and I didn't realize it was from this story, was the Beale scene. Yeah. I'm like, it was the boyfriends. I'm like, I've seen that before, but I'm like, if it didn't pop up in any of the side stories. Yeah, it's it funny because I actually, I think I read The Queen because Superstar was starting.

Speaker: And I was like, oh, okay, if i'm going to get back into the 11 of Illusion universe, maybe I should read the Stipe story first. And so now I feel weird telling people. I'm like, it's kind of nice to read it before a Superstar because there's a little bit of lead up.

Speaker: But it's not like it's actually anything important. But I just remember being like, wait, because I was at least, i don't know if the first chapter had come out or we'd just seen art yet or anything. But I was like, wait, it's the baby.

Speaker: na know that baby. at least... At least they baited us with some Buell. Yep, exactly. We did get some Buell content. And it was very cute. We got to... Especially knowing, because I don't think that that... Did it come up at all in Love is an Illusion, the original, that Buell was kind of a player as a baby?

Speaker: As a literal baby? No, okay. I did not. They... No. So, they... The fact that they gave us that in this...

Speaker: Makes it really fucking cute. Yeah, I like it. And it makes it seem like it wasn't like it's not an afterthought the way Buell is and that he went from, you know, he's always when he was like a baby baby. It's not even like he was going from Omega to Omega or anything because they I don't know if they knew their genders or anything. i mean, I feel like they might in this one though early. I don't know how that works. But as a little kid, he was quote unquote dating everyone.

Speaker: if I remember correctly, unless I'm thinking of the different series. Oh yeah, this one they don't know until later, obviously, because yeah um the main character like got mistested and obviously that happened later.

Speaker: if I'm not mistaken, I think they did know because he was sensitive to spheromones. Oh.

Speaker: maybe Either way, as a baby, it seemed like he was just dating whoever. And as he should. oh dating. he's He's three. Hey, doesn't matter to his parents. Right? my gosh. Yeah, that was my favorite part.

Speaker: Anyways, I guess let's wrap this up here. wo ah I'm excited for next week. It'll be another one where we've both read it It'll be a little more fresh for you. It's somewhat fresh for me. So I'm excited for that.

Speaker: Yeah, just wrapped up. So. All right. Time to finish it up. Awesome. Awesome. well I hope everyone has a flop-tastic rest of the week.
