Speaker: not Not a whole lot since the last time we chatted. i felt that. I feel like there's ah ah there's almost like so much happening that you just sometimes it's our normal.
Speaker: Yeah, for real. I know we both kind of took little breaks and did some short stories. So do you have a short, shorter story coming for us today? Technically, yes. and So I do have a disclaimer about my short story. It originally started off as like three or four chapters and they kept adding side stories. okay So now it's like over 30 chapters.
Speaker: Wow, that's extreme. edge Just, you know, sometimes we know what each other are doing. Coming to this, I have no idea what you're doing. I knew you had something weird going on with your chapters. That's all I know. I don't know what this is. But that's weird. I mean, I know a lot of stories where it's like there's 30 chapters and then there's a thousand side stories. I've never heard of six chapters going to 30. I'm...
Speaker: I'm interested. me Three chapters that go to 30. I think it was supposed like a short, like really sweet, but then they just kept going on and on and on.
Speaker: some It's Manwa, right? Yes. Sometimes I do not understand what counts as an ending, what makes it a side story. You're like, this is the whole ass story and you're calling it a side story.
Speaker: And they actually do like, cause you know how you they always have like their cute little title thing for like the chapters and stuff. It literally says side story. So I'm like, oh, so it really, really was. But when this one dropped, we thought it was the end, just like how it ended. And so when we got side stories, we were like, okay cool.
Speaker: And then we got more and more. it's quite interesting. All right. Well, I'm um i'm ready. Like said, I don't know what's coming. So I'm excited. All right. So...
Speaker: Officially, because it is on Lezen, even though it wass weird, I had to like Google it to pull it up on Lezen. But if you like look it up on Lezen's app, it's not there. Okay. um So I think this is a somewhat recent change. Some people be like, no, it's happened forever ago.
Speaker: It's very, very fucking annoying. um Lezen changed so that you cannot look up or get 18 and up things on the app directly. So you have to, so you have to go on the website purchase them and then they'll be in your app.
Speaker: You just can't access them from the app. I did the same thing for weeks. i was like, I thought this was on Lesin. I thought that was on Lesin. The Queen. i was like, why don't they have the Queen on Lesin? I did that for a while until I found that out. Okay. That makes sense. Cause I'm like, I know it's on Lesin, but where the hell is it?
Speaker: And so I had to go through that whole, like. The most annoying part, especially, well, yeah, but especially cause the story I'm working on next, um, has, um, So it has a lot of free chapters on on the platform only, not on the app.
Speaker: But if you get the chapters for free, they don't count. So then if I go on the app, even though I've technically like accepted all those free chapters, they don't count on the app. It doesn't show up in the app.
Speaker: Okay, so I'm not going to be using the app is what I'm hearing. Yeah. Well, like that you can go buy. So you can even, um if you buy, so this is what's been happening to me, is, off you know, the first episode usually free.
Speaker: Yeah. So I go and I like buy the, or I open the free episode. And even though I haven't read the next one yet, I go buy the second episode. Once you buy the episode, it will be in the app. Okay, that makes a lot more sense because going so And then once it's in the app, from there, you can then, when you finish the chapter, it's going to say, like, do you want to buy the next one? And you can buy it.
Speaker: but but once it's So you don't have to keep going back and forth. Once you're in the app, you're good. If people are listening to this in the future, things might totally change. And they might be like, what the fuck are you talking about? But then if people are listening to this, like, next week, they might be like, wow, that was helpful. Because it was helpful for me. Because, like I said, I had to grill it to pull it up on the thing.
Speaker: and So crazy. that's Well, with that being said... The official title is changed the beta count. However, when it first came out, you know, with unofficial translations, it was the beta count had changed, which makes more sense.

But yeah, I've heard of this, but I don't think I really know anything about it. vi I might do my annoying thing and as you're talking I might go oh I saw clips of this on Instagram oh my god I know this I think I did that with um Diamond Dust but I think so and I don't think this is your genre because it is more like kind of historical-ish they have like or hierarchies and all and it includes a little bit of isekai so I'm definitely like no this is more my territory okay that sounds familiar but even though like I don't seek those out and read I know I haven't read this but obviously i am on Omegaverse

Speaker: He is a beta. He has like this like cute like reddish chestnut, long hair, ruby red eyes. And he's not like small and dainty as like you would think of an Omega. He's like just a standard size male, is how I'd say. like he fits in with the beta look.
Speaker: But you can tell he comes from a pretty family. Starts off with him and his fiance, Fenrir Siegfried.
Speaker: His fiance is this basic-ass looking alpha. I'm sorry if you see the other ones. But, I mean, he's a pretty man. i think it's just art style.
Speaker: Black hair, slick black, blue eyes, very fair skin. You can tell he comes from class and money because he does. he
Speaker: is from a ducal family, so he's gonna be a duke one day, whereas Eleanor, he his family um is a count, so like definitely huge, huge like social hierarchy difference. I don't know what the fuck any of these words mean, so I'm like uh-huh, uh-huh.
Speaker: Dukes are over. You're like, alpha, beta, oh god. I know alpha, beta. I don't know fucking dukes and counts, so guide me. So, real quick, like, the hierarchy is the duke is almost as powerful as your king.
Speaker: Okay. Counts are going to be lower, um kind of like in the middle here. Okay. So they still have power. like And, like, stupid money. But, like, a duke is basically, like... milk Let's see a king and his brother. His brother could go off and become a duke and get his own providence, but he still records the king. So that's how like close in like royal lineage they are. um Normally it's like by bloodline. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's different for each, but with a count, you it's just like more of a watered down. They don't have as much power, but they still have like the prestige, the lineage.
Speaker: So are they maybe like friends and cousins of royalties? Like something like that? They're rubbing shoulders. I should know this shit. My parents are both English from England. um But yeah, I'm not i'm not into that.

Speaker: where Okay, you're starting to get like some land. prestige and then you could become a baron. Baron is actually where all of this starts to matter because a baron actually has like more prestige over a knight because a baron could hire knights. Knights typically don't hire each other.
Speaker: you have your baron. Your Viscount is going to be your next step. And then you have your count. Oh. And then your Marquis. okay. I've heard these words.
Speaker: a Duke. This is ridiculous. And then, like, your prince and princesses will be right before your duke. Okay. And then your king. Princesses are under the duke?
Speaker: They're technically above the duke. Okay. Because they are direct lineage of the king and queen. Yeah. But in terms of power, technically the duke has more power of over, like, their ducal system. Okay.
Speaker: As someone who doesn't like to accept enigmas because there's too much going on in the hierarchy, there is way too much going on in that hierarchy. Yeah, there is. All right. Well, thank you for the lesson. um Yes. So I'll pretend like I found this.
Speaker: So our main character, he's a count. Count and Earl. there i'm gonna They're like around the same. Don't do this to me. Don't do this to me. I just had to throw out Earl because they do mention Earl later.
Speaker: Only thing about counts is Chocula and the count from Sesame Street. So they're all vampires in my mind and like mohaha. He has red eyes. he You could think of him as a vampire. Alright, that helps.
Speaker: So Elidor, he's a beta and obviously betas, they just don't really have much status. Finrar, he is the son of a duke and he's an alpha. So he has like this prestige lineage.
Speaker: Seems starts off with them they it's really cute because they're like in their wedding outfits or getting married first of all an alpha and a beta that's how you're starting off hop off well that quickly gets destroyed because like the next panel pans this redhead this i i actually really like the redhead he has this nice tan skin these like golden eyes long red hair that's like in a ponytail like
Speaker: You can tell he's a little sketchy, but at the same time, he has he has personality and character. So it shows him and our main character, Eleanor, I'll call him L as well, is like kind of gear on his ass. He's like, no one's supposed to be around the annex while Fenrir's going through his rut. You should know this. dot da da And this little shithead We don't have names yet. So this little shithead. He's like oh so you haven't heard.
Speaker: I'm the one bringing in Omega for your man.
Speaker: and this is like. Shatters. Eleanor's world. He's like wait what the fuck. Like what the fuck do you mean. he he has Omega. Like what.
Speaker: So next thing he's like throwing shit around. Because he's like. That was a truth bomb. Like I guess everyone but him knew that. his alpha has an omega. And so he's like throwing vases and all that shit around in his devoted knight. He is his cute, like strawberry blonde, puppy-eyed, I believe his eyes are green, so they all have different colored eyes too. But He's like this cute knight. grabs him and he's like, I don't want you to hurt yourself. I'll always be devoted to like please you. Please. You know your husband only loves you. every Everyone in the kingdom knows he only loves you. He's not going falling in love with an Omega.
Speaker: Next scene. Next scene is really pathetic. Because as the knight is like comforting him. The alpha comes in, he's on the ground, on his knees, sobbing. And he's like, I'm so sorry. um They did this without my knowledge. i didn't even call for Omega. like They got Omega into heat and put him in my room. i only love you. This was not any of my doing. He's like, I'm so sorry. You know, just sobbing.
Speaker: Well, that doesn't change the fact that what happens when you get Omega and he in heat and then Alpha in Ra?
Speaker: Omega's pregnant. Oh, oh, it actually happened. Yeah, it actually happened. And I'm like, oh my god. And you're watching this from the main character's point of view. So the... His husband's father...
Speaker: or grandfather it was weird with the trip but he like was like well we have to move the omega into the bedroom because we need the pheromones for the baby it just you should be happy that we're continuing the bloodline this had to happen because you're beta that's your biggest and only flaw is that you were born a beta damn and i'm like biggest and only that's a weak and big one Oh, yeah. And I'm like, damn. Okay. yeah you Like, you guys did this without his knowledge. Like, it would be different if it was consensual. Like, okay, we're bringing in, like, a consort or something. No! Like, none of those. He didn't before the marriage, right?
Speaker: Mm-mm. Like, when they got married, it was literally just the two of them. Yeah. And so, like, this all just happened. And he's, like, reflecting on his broken love. He's like, my love is, like, built on, like, lies because...
Speaker: you said me being a beta didn't matter. And he's watching as this beautiful carriage pulls up and they're helping escort out the pregnant, very pregnant Omega. And you could just tell our main character is a mess.
Speaker: He's standing and the, it's a castle. So like he's standing on like the edge of some part of the castle. He just jumps.
Speaker: He jumps. He unalives himself.
Speaker: Oh my, But, the next scene, um he's suddenly back moments before their wedding ceremony. So, like, they're still in, like, their drawing room and stuff. And he's looking at the man he loved, the one that be betrayed him, like, being so happy, you know, like, they're about to get married. And he suddenly, he realizes this too quickly. He's like, I somehow fucking went back in time.
Speaker: he's like, let's actually just cancel the wedding like um you need to go find yourself an omega i'm a beta like they don't go well together let's fucking cancel it and mind you when he's when everyone's saying how much this alpha loved this beta they weren't lying because he goes crazy he literally like loses it he's like who could possibly who else could you possibly love if it's not me And he's like radical losing his mind like, no, we're not canceling this. and
Speaker: so he continues to keep kissing him because, you know, he's like going insane. What do you mean? Well, as they're kissing and on the couch, pheromones start to kind of play.
Speaker: And he's like, pheromones, you're a beta. And then our beta's over here is like,
Speaker: Wait, pheromones? I'm a beta! um And so they're a little confused, but they continue to have sex. Our main in character, L, he's not telling him to stop. He's enjoying the moment, because once again, this is his man.
Speaker: And I guess it like kicked Finnair into a rut. um Well, our next chapter.
Speaker: Elle's parents are livid. They're like, fucking cancel the wedding. There's no fucking way that you assaulted our son plus an alpha running a beta. Who the fuck are you?
Speaker: They basically said because he runned beta, that's what assault is. dadada And so they're livid for their son. And I say should because like, once again, we know you're not supposed to run a beta.
Speaker: Yeah. I mean, not a beta. um And so like they're just like livid. El is like all tucked away in bed because like he like passed out and stuff. And as he's waking up, he grabs someone's hand.
Speaker: It's a cute little blonde knight that we saw earlier. And so the knight we learned his name is Sion? Sion? S-I-O-N?
Speaker: Sion? Sion. That's my guess. Okay. And he basically declares his love in a way, but like not really. It's like this nightly love. He's like, I will never leave your side. Like I'll always this be devoted to you. and You know, it comes off as like nightly devotion, but you could tell there's like a little bit more because.
Speaker: I mean, why wouldn't there be? So as he's like. Waking up, processing everything that has happened, the doctor. is like, you know, just running his vitals and stuff. He's like, hey, you need to run a test on my secondary gender again.
Speaker: Well, it comes back. He's a mega, a recessive one. And the doctor was like, this could happen if an alpha in rut does it with a beta.
Speaker: So the only thing is you might be infertile. And so him suddenly being an Omega is not the part that, like, fucking ruins his world. He's like, me fucking being infertile?
Speaker: Are you serious? Like, I wouldn't mind being an Omega. But being infertile? That's fucking useless. Like, why am I Omega then? he's like... You kind of get all of the negatives of being an Omega without... He's like, Darren, what's the positive? Not saying I think Omegas are just for breeding, but... Especially like the in this kind of world, that makes sense. yeah Especially when his pre like his first life the reason like The reason why his love fell apart is for a baby.
Speaker: And so he's like, now that I could technically have a baby, you're telling me I can't? Like, fuck you. So he's like, okay, keep this a secret. Like, no one needs to know. Like, everyone just, they think I'm a beta. We're going to keep it that way.
Speaker: So, okay, naturally, they keep it a secret. But the doctor did warn him. And this was really interesting, and maybe it's because of this world, but thinking back on some other stories, after I say this point, I want you to elaborate with me.
Speaker: Omegas who developed in adulthood normally crave alphas really strongly. So the doctor urged him to find an alpha to help with his sexual awakening and as proof he's like the first person you reached out to was sir sion like his knight and his knight's an alpha like subconsciously he was already reaching out for an alpha and i just find that so interesting because a lot of times when we do see the omegas who develop later in life they they do kind of have a really fucking strong sex drive yeah yeah it comes on like immediate and yeah i mean
Speaker: I'd have to go back and like compare characters and be like, okay, when did they find out their secondary? Because it does seem like a lot of them, and a lot of them have to do with the, with manhwas, you know, all the characters being about 20, like where it does come on late in life. And yeah, and like their first experiences are always like, I found out I was an Omega because I always had to have this crazy sexual experience. Whereas when you think about ones that probably did, you know, present a more normal age 12, 14 something like that they probably didn't all have this dramatic thing you know they probably just one day were laying in their bed at home doing their homework and like oh fuck I'm hot I need to go lay down for a bit you know yeah interesting I was gonna bring up a love is an illusion because think about how a fucking his sex drive is high yeah and that's definitely was on my mind so I thought it was really interesting that they had this point in because I'm like I know universe specific but
Speaker: That is actually a really strong trend that we see. If they do develop or discover later on, typically we have seen them have a super fucking high sex drive. yeah And I mean, that's what we're here for. We're here for some babies.
Speaker: So, with the doctor's warning, you know what this count does? He takes his knight, who is an alpha, by the way, to a shady place.
Speaker: So they're going in, and you can tell there's some, like, black market dealings. um The redhead from the first life that brought the Omega, he's one sitting there greeting them.

Speaker: Yeah. you need a what now be like oh okay um and he throws shade at the duke so he's like so you're telling me the duke hasn't been able to satisfy you like he's not doing a good job so that's why you're here i'm like you know yeah thank you for throwing some shade at our duke because fuck him ah yeah that's fair um and fuck that duke i don't know what a duke is well fuck it He's the one with the most power here. Maybe not above the black market dude, but like legal power. Actual power, or not... Well, no, I guess the black market dude has the actual power and this guy has the... Just like the legal power. Yeah, in title, he has the supposed power.
Speaker: um Well, because he's the black market leader, he already knows our main character, has turned into a beta. come out milk An omega.

Speaker: And so, L's worried that he's gonna get walked in on. So Grey's like, I have this great fucking idea. gets a blindfold. Blindfolds L, bends him over, and puts, like, a bag on him.
Speaker: Oh, my. invite And invites Sion in. And so, mind you, you have the sh- man beautiful like his hair's pulled up like chiseled and all and he's standing and right beside him this omega's hunched over cheeks up over a desk and you can tell like he's he's had action in there he's like slightly dripping like his booty holes like yeah we got this it's been penetrated And so Grey and Sion start to bicker because Sion's like, where where where's Ser L? like Where the fuck is he? He's not in here. And gray was all like, you handed your love over to another man, even though it was one-sided love.
Speaker: And that man defiled him. And now you're worried about him. He came to me for an alpha so you shouldn't be worried because you should have been worried way beforehand um but you know what since you're here we've got this alpha all cheeked up ready to go and Sion's like no like I can't like I just I need to find El Sir Ellie like get out of um they forgot that they're dealing with like this black market lord okay because of course there's drugs in the air
Speaker: So Seon starts kind of getting a little heated and he's like, what's this feeling? And Grey's over there like smirking. He's like, oh, it's nothing that's going to harm you or anything, but it's going to like kind of induce you a little.
Speaker: he's like, once again, this cheeked up Omega who's hunched over is ready to go You know you want him. so xion gives in and gray actually spreads his cheeks for him whoa so all three of them are standing there and he's just like so so you have the salesman i'm giving it to him this he is a salesman he is like you sample this product yep wow okay and he's literally like sitting on the desk kind of like ready to go like you know like sitting kind of like leaning back So he's like, are you ready? Spreads open and you just see Seon like go insert himself. And so they're getting it on.

Speaker: as I love it. i love an unknown. so the doctor's like, there's a way to find out. But it's like really dangerous to stuff. And everyone's like, no no one's harming the baby. Fuck that. What's another way? And so the doctor's like, well, baby needs a lot of pheromone from its father.

Speaker: Like, no, go away. It's my turn to, like, do the parenting classes and stuff. And he's like, it's Valentine's Day. could all share it together. Plus, I brought him chocolates. And then hearing this ruckus, our cute little knight, he comes in and he's like, why is everyone here but me?
Speaker: And then El like wakes up and he's just like, oh, what's going on? He's like, I'm really craving some chocolates. And they all like whip out their gifts and they're like, we prepared you chocolates, babe. And even the Duke was like, I didn't want to give it to you right now, like while you're in asleep. But I also prepared you chocolates too. So like, fuck the other guys.
Speaker: And so they were like, well, what are you going to do? Whose chocolates are you going to receive? Because you know how like chocolates are like a huge thing. He's like, well, I'm going to have them all. Me and the baby. so he has the chocolates, but then they all get on with him.
Speaker: So the three of them are sharing are actually having schmicks with our boy. i mean, i don't even know to say. When I bring up the pregnancy, it's fine.
Speaker: Hey, the baby needs semen and pheromones. So the baby's getting the semen and pheromones. Look, I've seen plenty one-on-ones where they're like, it's gonna poke the baby. And then here they are, three of them. Someone's gonna poke the baby.

Speaker: add some baby clothes to the list and make sure like all the markers are good. So like in their own respective fields, they are leveraging their power for the goddamn baby.
Speaker: And I'm like, okay, that's so cute. And then the redhead, he's like, well, it sounds like we need a second baby because he does not like to share. And so it's just really cute. And we find out,
Speaker: lionel is the baby's name and he's also really sensitive to pheromones so he's already a few months old in this next scene and so since he's an alpha he's already he's obviously reacting to pheromones because his mama it's since it's been a few months he's his mama's about to go into heat and then of course with his papa's like They don't know what's going on because, like, obviously mama's not okay. So, like, you know, when your emotions and stuff are all whack. So the baby's, like, sobbing. And the doctor's, like, ah, you guys need get that in check. So they have someone, like, take care of the baby.
Speaker: And, well, consensually, all three alphas spent heat with him. course Ray obviously wants more babies. He's like, ah the baby number two, let's go.
Speaker: and they take turns doing double pen with him. And our Omega has such a soft strong sex drive that the alphas were getting kind of like getting a little worn out. Like, are you sure? was just like, someone put it in me right now. Like you, there's three ticks in front of me. why is there not one in me? oh my gosh. then that's where it's like, well only one So they do have more schmixy time.
Speaker: um So with this story, obviously, there this is like within six chapters. Those are only three chapters.
Speaker: Okay. The next ones going to be really cute because it's going to dive into each of the main... All right. So these next parts, they are side stories.
Speaker: Side stories to a side. Yeah, these are the actual where side stories will be starting. um And it's cute because they did dive into each of the male leads. So they have their baby and we're going to start off with Gray.
Speaker: So their baby. Gray is the black market one, right? Gray is the black market one. Yep. um Their baby comes like knocking on their little bedroom door. he's like, where's mommy?
Speaker: Mommy promised to read to me. and Gray is like, oh, mommy's asleep. Let's not bug mommy. But how about I show you some gems instead? and he's like, is this candy? And he's like, no, they're gems. these are one like These are expensive. You're going to want them. And this child, like, no, throws it in his face. So, like, you know, like the comedic bouncing off.
Speaker: And Gray's like, oh, you get my stubbornness. Oh my gosh. Okay, but that's a fucking mood. If I wanted some candy and someone gave me gems, I would be pissed. Right? And he's like, I only wanted a fucking story. Like, the fuck are you trying to bribe me? Oh my god, I didn't know what to do about that.
Speaker: And so, he's like, okay, fine, I'll tell you a story then, I guess. And it's cute because the story that he's taught telling your son, and mind you, this is probably toddler age,
Speaker: Is he real he revealed when he was younger, he was actually son of Marquis. So that's slightly under a duke.
Speaker: Okay, thank you. And it was a bad account. So his ranking is in the middle between. So the duke and then our omega, his ranking is right in the middle of theirs.
Speaker: Okay, okay. This is why I don't do this shit. I can't handle All good. um He was taken to this like really nice house and stuff with his family. And so he like goes into a library he sees Elle sitting there like in the windowsill, beautiful tall windows, big enough that can sit in it. And he's like tucked away reading a book. And he's just like this cute, very nice, timid guy.
Speaker: And so he like approaches him. And so they're having conversation, they're joking and just he's he's treating this son normally.
Speaker: Even though like the son, rank is technically higher than him, dah, dah, dah. And so.
Speaker: What we've real what we find out is they were actually engaged. So he's like, hey, next time I see you. will be married. Like, I'm gonna marry you. you're You're gonna be mine. And then Elle goes, like people who are big and mature. And I'm like, oh, okay. And so Grey's like, well, I will grow up real big and I'll be mature by then. So you just you wait. Just you wait.
Speaker: Yeah, he grew up big. Is he mature? Absolutely not. but Google alpha. I'm like, you know what? We love that. And the sad part is the next scene of Grey's is you see him, like this woman, reaching out to him in the carriage telling him to go. She's like, you're our only heir. We need you out of here. So I think something happened where his family was actually being hunted down. Okay.
Speaker: And so they're sending Grey away to be safe because... if you can't kill everyone, like, your legacy lives on, plus, you know, protecting your child. And they were like, don't even worry about your marriage or anything. That got cancelled the moment Elle manifested as a beta.
Speaker: Like, you don't have any obligations right now, like, to everything political. You just need to survive. Sadly, we never know what happened to the family, because he doesn't go, like,
Speaker: He doesn't present himself as like the son of our marquee and everything. So basically with him being like the black market dude, he just made out his own legacy. That's how he survived.
Speaker: Yeah. So obviously the family, like he has no pool with the family. So he had to make his own thing. Mm hmm. So it kind of explains some things to like how he knows like the in and outs of how the world like these nobles work and all. hmm.
Speaker: But it's really cute because so as he's telling the story, Elle, who's beside them, wakes up. and He's like, oh, what are you guys talking about? And he's just like, oh, was just telling him just a story of the past and how, you know, things.
Speaker: It's funny how things turn out and some promises were kept.
Speaker: Other than you maturing. Other than you maturing. You did end up marrying this man. ah And. The next one is. About the knight.
Speaker: ah Which is really interesting. Because once again. Knight bottomed tier. you're You're kind of getting a name for yourself. Through your merits. So. Their son.
Speaker: He's a little taller now. Probably like a kid age. So it's cute. Because you're seeing the son age. yeah And he's like. talking with his dad and then he's like what oh and they're making flower crowns mind you he's like what do you mean l is like the strongest out of all you guys him?
Speaker: mama is? and then Sion's like hey don't you underestimate your mama all three of us would agree he is the strongest one out of all of us let me tell you a story because you do not cross your mama So it shows you backstory, which is really cute because he is over there, like, sweeping away and watching the knight's practice. And he's like, oh my gosh, how cool would it be to be a knight? So he went and just pretended, like, his broom was a sword.
Speaker: As he swung down, guess who appears right in front of him? Elf. And they're, like, probably pre-teenage at this time. And then, so the knight, like,
Speaker: Sion's like mortified. He like drops the ground. He's apologizing. He's like, I'm so sorry. dadada He, it's real. He is a slave. This, yeah.
Speaker: El is? Or the knight. Okay, okay. Knight's a slave. And he, then and you know, for a slave to nearly attack his like, ma the young master. He's like mortified.
Speaker: But El was over there, El was impressed. He's like, wow, that's a really good swing, actually. And mind you, like when I say he almost hit him, and like you know, like the stereotypical way kind of brushes your hair. El was just standing there so unfazed.
Speaker: And he's like, you know what? How about you become my knight?
Speaker: And it was just like, wait, wait, what? And so El actually went to his parents being like, hey, this guy here, he might be a slave, but he's going be my knight.
Speaker: So El saw something in Sion that, like, no one else really did. And it was, like, his potential because now Sion's, like, head head of knights and stuff for their household.
Speaker: um And it was funny because, like, some of the older guys are like, oh, yeah, we saw you practicing and all. Like, it's kind of obvious, like, where you are because you can see it from the bedroom and all. But They're like, even with all your skills, you're still not as skilled as the young master.
Speaker: But you know what? We're going to do a mock battle. He's like, i don't want to hurt him. What do you mean a mock battle? They're like, no, you are underestimating him. You need to protect your own ass. And he's like, no, no, no, I can't. i can't i cant i can't And he did underestimate L because l fucking not only beat him, he broke his fucking wooden sword.
Speaker: and I'm like, holy shit. And that's the moment. When he was like, oh shit. This this man. This man. cute Yes. And then the older knight, he was like, hey, you gotta be careful. Do not give, you know, like, nobles your whole heart and stuff. Like, you may be devoted. Just don't give your whole heart away. But as he was, like, swearing his devotion, he swore absolute loyalty and his heart to El.
Speaker: And then El, and then pans into the... you know, just like the modern day out of the story. And l he's coming by he's like, just, he sees him making flower crowns and stuff. And it's just like a cute, heartfelt moment because they wrapped it up. He's like, oh why we going to talk about? Oh, nothing much. Just, you know, making flower crowns, telling the story.
Speaker: And just how happy they are now that he's like, yeah, I swore, like I devoted myself and I'm, this is where we're at. And I'm,
Speaker: would not trade it for the world. like, huh? You're such a precious cinnamon roll. It's a cute juxtaposition, too, of, like, how they met was, like, through, like, a sword fight and, like, violence. And then now it's, like, the juxtaposition of the sword fight with making flower crowns. Exactly! and like, he was bottom of the bottom, because, you know, you're like, you're a slave. So even though he rose, like, to knighthood and stuff, like, he's still, like, compared to the other guys?
Speaker: Yeah. Title-wise, ugh. But it's okay, because... He chooses not to be violent. Yeah. And then there's fucking Grey over there. Right. And then the last one.
Speaker: right. His... The guy that... It's hard to say if he really betrayed him or not because in a way, like, he was forced to have an Omega.
Speaker: The Duke. Finra. Because as you could tell, he devoted his life to L. his last life and this life. So it was just like that weird gray area. I don't really, I don't, I'm not trying to glaze him.
Speaker: I really don't think. I'm trying to glaze him if you know what I mean. really, just really don't think he's that bad of a guy. He is boring, but like, he's not bad. Like he hit his resolve. Didn't change when he found out he was Omega.
Speaker: Like he married him as a beta still. Yeah. Yeah. i guess Lepert is nice. He's I'm less interested in him than the other ones. I can say just from listening. Yeah. But you know, that's a good point. And so his story is actually the most boring of them all. oh but Okay, so I'm not going to change my mind too much. No, you're not. um he's actually So their son's a lot older now. Probably like m child. It's weird how monomones draw kids because you could tell he's not like a young child, but like probably like middle school-ish age, going to middle school age because they're teaching.
Speaker: He's dancing with his dad, the Duke. And so his dad is teaching him all roles of the dance. So male and female role. And he's like, I'm an alpha. Why does that matter? Like, why do I need to learn both roles and stuff?
Speaker: And his dad is like, well, your partner could be any gender. Your partner could be an alpha or a beta or even like, it's important for you to learn for them because you should be learning for the person you love.
Speaker: and like, see? That's where I'm okay. So if he's only teaching his son, it doesn't matter what your partner's secondary gender is. And that's nice, especially like other stories we've read, especially now when you're talking about royalty and shit, you know, that they'd be like, you need to marry this, you know, ah you an alpha needs to marry an alpha, or you need the most prestigious omega that's out there. So that is sweet argue this guy. And he's he's the highest, right? He's the highest ranking one. He's the highest ranking one. yes And he's the one...
Speaker: You can love whoever. Exactly. And remember how he was like crying in like their first timeline? Like, ah this was not my idea. I had no idea about like this Omega.
Speaker: da-dada Like, I would never betray you like this. And then coming back to this, him teaching their son, it doesn't matter of like their secondary gender. You need to learn this just in case you find someone that you love, like you're prepared for them.
Speaker: Yeah. And it was cute because his backstory, he obviously, like everyone wants his attention because he's a fucking high ranking. He's almost comparable to like a prince.
Speaker: um This unmarried bachelor, he goes out. This is really c cliche for like more of these like royalty stories. He went out to the balcony for air.
Speaker: And Elle was sitting- I do that at the club. Yeah.
Speaker: Ella's standing there and he's like, oh, I'm so sorry. Let me make room for you. if this balcony doesn't have a room for two. But you can see like the girl there's some girls there like, I used expensive hair dye. i hope he notices me. dada da And so Finner, he's like, okay, i just I need to get away from all that that glitz glamour political life. So they actually just start chatting about stuff for like two hours and stuff.
Speaker: And like they're talking books, just, you know, just like small talk, but it's like such an interesting and gross conversation. And he starts releasing his pheromones, but he's like, oh, he really is a beta because he can't smell these.
Speaker: um But then, you know what? He's like, he looks at Ellie, he's like, hey, let's dance. And dancing like is a huge thing in like this society.
Speaker: So this is like his first dance of the night. dahda da And I was like, I only know the male parts because I'm beta. I wasn't required to learn more. And so he's like, it's okay.
Speaker: I'll guide you. I'll lead you. And so he's guiding him as they're dancing. little clumsily, but it's okay. And so he's like, you know, we actually haven't introduced ourselves.
Speaker: So they were talking for like two hours and now they're dancing. They haven't been introduced. But El reveals that he knows who he is. But like, you know, obviously. like, you famous? Yeah, literally. He's like, well, you didn't show up the last meeting. I was kind of disappointed not to be the Duke's son. And so he's so funeral. He's like, oh, so you know who I am? He's like, well, yeah. Who doesn't know who you are? And Al goes, oh, and I heard that you've been in the search for a wife.
Speaker: How's that coming along? You know, the one that you want to marry and all. And this is a cliche as you're dancing. And for now, he's like looking at him lovingly. And he's like, I think I've seen to found it. And I'm like, aw, stop.
Speaker: And so, of course, flashback to the modern day, l walks into the room ah and so their son asks, hey, I want to see you guys dancing together. And Elle's like, ooh.
Speaker: yeah actually i actually don't know if I remember the parts and all. um But his son was like, you know I'm so happy that I have such a loving family. you guys are my parents and da da da. But it's really cute because His dad was teaching him how to dance all the parts, so he's not as clumsy as his mom. But so when the time comes, whether like his social status, but he's prepared because he was prepared for Elle. And I'm like, oh, that's so cute. That's very sweet.
Speaker: So that wraps up that side story of theirs. And the next story is it goes into like their son is actually grown up. So it's crazy, but I will spoil one thing. So yes, their son is growing up. He's like in a dating scene now.
Speaker: They do have more babies. So Gray got his wish. It's a cute thing. I had to spoil that because they don't really show it They just kind of appear because now they they'll they'll avee they sometimes have the parent couples again, but now it's focusing on Lionel. and his story but it's just so cute because you see he's like probably almost adulthood age like teenage adulthood age and his siblings like they're just like children like probably five or something so they're a lot younger yeah there's like a huge age gap but it makes sense because i with being recessive they thought he was infertile true and i think they're triplets
Speaker: So, of course, with that being said, each of the kids look like their respective father. Okay. So the first kid looks like the mother, you know, combination all three. But the next set of their other kids, they each have their own.
Speaker: Of course, of course. I should have, have guessed. But I just had to spoil that. um The rest of stories are really cute. Just, it's just really, was really interesting how they actually fleshed out this story like yes the main story was three three and a half chapters and then each male got his own like little backstory with l yeah but like they really fleshed out and it just brought more to life like they always loved l what when he was a beta they didn't care that he changed into an omega yeah the opportunity just presented itself
Speaker: Yeah, no, it's breaky it seems like the story is just kind of about like unconditional love and yeah there really wasn't too much conflict or anything during it. Everyone was pretty excited, like, you know, accepting in that.
Speaker: Yeah. And even though technically they say that Finro, like, what is it, assaulted Elle?
Speaker: L never really said, like, he never said no. And I mean, there's ways, like, da-da-da, but I think what happened was it was, like, the pheromone thing, because, like, L blacked out. Yeah. So I think it was, like, a pheromone, like, he didn't know what was going on. Pheromones are triggering him. And the reason why they said that he got assaulted is because they're still under the impression that he's a beta, so they're like, you fucking nodded a beta?
Speaker: Yeah, so that's, like, a crime, but they didn't realize that he was already, like, being an omega, and it makes sense in this world they don't see that as much as a crime because that's how their biology works. Exactly. And just seeing like the story of like how much this guy actually really has loved him.
Speaker: Yeah. was like, okay, it makes sense. And then like so unconditionally, even when a couple other people come along, he's like still cool with it. Yeah. Like yeah he'll be, he was like, whoa, who whoa. Why? I'm the one. And they're like, ah, we're the ones. But like, yeah, they'll have like a little bit of banter with each other, but they still are, so they're so nice to him. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: And I just think it's so cute. So it was a fun, unconventional story that I'm glad they added more to. Yeah. I have a few questions. Yeah. I do some Q&A? So my first one, this is just because I'm always curious about this.
Speaker: How was the baby born? Did they just, the baby was there? Baby magic. Baby magic. So just they show and they're like, this is the baby. Yep. Okay. Bright ass fucking eyes. And if you see the baby as an adult, you could tell the baby got good genes. The baby's going to be a menace.
Speaker: Of course, of course. Because yeah obviously he's an alpha, right? Yep, he's an alpha. Alpha that looks like an omega. Beautiful people. Yeah, right? I always like that. I like when the alpha baby, it's a cliche, but i like when the alpha baby looks like the omega parent when they're like a baby. And then it's neat when they get older they still look like that Omega parent, but because they start getting the alpha features, they look more mixed.
Speaker: Yes. Because I feel like the Omega kind of gets overlooked a lot. Yeah. So I have a kind of big question for you. Okay. um So often, obviously, it's very different reading these stories yourself, seeing the pictures and that, than sitting and listening to someone else tell you about the story.
Speaker: So this is just something from what I heard. And so I want to hear your opinion. Do you think it really impacted the story that he was a beta and then became an Omega?
Speaker: Because for me, that wasn't the story. And the story for me personally, as a listener, didn't really start until he got his second life as an Omega.
Speaker: Yeah, so I think it's interesting because, yes, with him presenting as an Omega, there are some things, but I think What ultimately happened was him trying to change his timeline.
Speaker: So now he's doing different things from his first life instead of, you know, marrying the man. Because he loves the Duke so much. I mean, he loves all of them, but like, but he's like, I can't put myself through that again. So when he first came into the world, he thought he was still a beta. And they never really used that he's Omega against him.
Speaker: So... I think it just gave them the opportunity because you could tell like from the first life, even Sion had like this unconditional love for him.
Speaker: So it's not that he's an Omega that really changed things. I, it's him. I believe it was more of his actions because going to go seek an alpha, like, yeah, like as he was going to go seek an, a sex partner and whatnot. So I think the Omega,
Speaker: plotline was just more of like a sub plotline where you're like oh yeah because you're omega you're gonna have like sex a lot duda up but kind of like set the narrative to like let all these guys who had these feelings for him get with him yeah okay that makes sense to me so the plotline was more of him getting a second chance and him making his choices however kind of in part of that he also got to have the added thing that he, I assume he wanted, was being able to have his own family.
Speaker: Yeah, and his own freedom. And it didn't cover this because I've read more of the stories. In one of their other side stories, it actually reveals itself.
Speaker: He isn't married to any of them, technically. Okay, yeah, that' that's... but So he doesn't have the Duke title. He actually hey he has the Count title still.
Speaker: Oh, interesting. Okay, so what's the... You might not know this. What's the baby's title? Earl. Earl, okay, so that's higher, right? The Duke's son? Earl is, like, almost on par with, like, Count. So he he's oh he hasn't inherited his father's title.
Speaker: Okay, but he has a chance to get that? or Oh, yeah, like, he's he's, like, the heir, so then, like, once, like, his title his father steps down from me, or um Or if he dies, he could inherit the title. So they call him Earl.
Speaker: and that's where I was like, okay, not to confuse you, but it will pop up later. So he's inheriting his dad's house. Because technically the Duke got like disowned, but then like they still call him Duke and all, because that's still his title. Okay.
Speaker: So it's it's an interesting thing, but Earl, he built his life for him. na Yeah, no that's really really interesting. um So I don't think you're going to go like right into another part or anything. Do you plan on in the future covering these side stories?
Speaker: Oh, 100%. Okay. I think it would be fine to go visit more of the side stories. See if we... Is it currently ongoing? Oh, it's it is still ongoing, which is interesting because once again when they drop some of the side stories, it said that they were done. yeah And the interesting part is some of these side stories have alternate universes to this cuni universe.
Speaker: Oh, oh wow, okay. Yeah, so I think it's one of those stories where they'll drop some side stories, and so it's always continuously ongoing in a sense. Yeah, sometimes to tell if it's ongoing, so like, end side story, you're like, yeah, but okay, but is there another?
Speaker: Yep, it's like how this originally started with like three or four chapters, and then now it's like 30 chapters. Because they do bounce from the sun. back to the main parents, back to the son.
Speaker: Okay, interesting. Okay, so I hope that one day we get to hear hear more of that. I hope so too, because the son he has four very strong parents, so he's an interesting personality. Yeah, you would think so.
Speaker: yeah like he Like Grace said, he got his stubbornness. Right? Oh, that's definitely a unique story, especially for me. That's not really my universe I usually delve into, so. Nope, and that's I was like, you know, this is, I think we haven't delved into really a fantasy one yet.
Speaker: No, no, I don't think we've done any. I would, cook i would would you classify this more fantasy or historical? Is it a fantasy? It's hard with the Omegaverse because I feel like Omegaverse part almost adds fantasy. Omegaverse is all that's fantasy. So I do believe I've seen these visuals and in fact I think I've seen the baby, like the father reveal. I didn't know what it was. So I can kind of picture it in my head. I feel like even just the artwork itself makes it look more like whimsical.
Speaker: Yeah. Right? It looks really whimsy but they keep looking- mean it's historical because obviously not in any way a real time. But I guess not the they I don't know.
Speaker: It's just weird how they- Someone out there screaming at us saying, you idiots, it's blah. It's actually this and not that, but I'm like, hey, I'm sorry. Technically, I guess- Would you call medieval? Is it medieval?
Speaker: Because it sounds like it's kind of a Western theme. Oh, yeah, it's western more Western. I just looked at Lezin. They have it under aristocratic. Aristopatic. Okay, that's a good word. That's a really good word. Because i know I do know there are historical ones, but I was like, this one really isn't historical. They just have, like, the titles.
Speaker: That sounds right, and I'm sure that that's a big genre that I have no interest in. Even though I didn't think I was in your story. It's okay. i'll I'll cover those for you. The only um hierarchy I want, other than Alpha, Beta, Omega, is, like, student body president versus...
Speaker: In a college. See, I got into that. So you can cover those for me. I would cover all of those. I love me my university life. Oh, of my other hierarchy, the CEO, you know. the yeah I'm more like the mafia. so It's funny, I say I don't like mafia. So many of my favorites are mafia, so I can't say I don't like mafia.
Speaker: yeah I don't like Mafia. My favorite Omegaverse is Low Tide and Twilight and my favorite Manois of all time is Pearl Boy. i don't like Mafia. Not at all. Mafia adjacent.
