Speaker: Hi, welcome back guys. How are you feeling? How are you feeling this week, Moon? After listening to The Queen, um I'm excited to move on from that by he yourself.
Speaker: I feel exactly the same way. um i know we're staying in the universe, but um I can say we're moving on to something I find a little more enjoyable. But I had fun. i've been So I don't know anyone else who's read The Queen.
Speaker: I had fun finally getting that off my chest because I've been sitting with that for a while. so positives. And you know what? It wasn't as bad. Like yeah I actually enjoyed listening to you about it, but I agree with you with points. So if you guys haven't read or listened to the queen, our last podcast read it, um, skip.
Speaker: I'm kidding. No, go listen to our podcast. It's all you need. ah But I personally don't think I will go visit it. However, hopefully you guys do visit superstars if you haven't already, because you've read it. i follow along and tell almost like the tail end.
Speaker: right. Yeah, i'm I'm ready. I'm ready to get the superstar. i i feel I feel superstar. i think I feel about it more the way I feel about the original series, which If you guys aren't listening from the beginning or if it's been a while, um I feel just eh on that series. I don't hate it. i don't love it. There's things I like. There's things I dislike.
Speaker: I think it's a little mid compared to some of the better Omega verses I've read. But then, like, it's it's a classic and it has, like, so much important lore. For being Alpha Alpha, it's not my favorite.
Speaker: Like, I don't hate it, but I'm in the same boat as you. It's meh. But at the same time, we don't really we don't really get a lot of stories where we do follow the offspring. I mean, there's a handful, don't get me wrong. I do know a few. But yeah, it's just, it's a very PG, which is different for us. I was thinking we could get into that at the end. But ah yeah, why don't we jump into it now and have our post-story discussion so everyone knows what the hell we're talking about.
Speaker: Definitely. Well, let's start things off. This is going be pretty PG. They are children still, so no dirty thoughts as we're talking. All right. o I know.
Speaker: I mean, not, I don't want, they're children, so I don't want that about them. But, you know, they could have at least had, like, their parents have some moments or something. Throw me a bucket. All right. Well, we're going actually start off with Heesung, the mama, is crying in the hospital because, surprise, they had a baby girl.
Speaker: you would yeah you would think, especially being recessive, but he's like, it's so sweet. This scene actually like really touched my heart, because he's like, how could I hold my baby when I wasn't able to hold Buell as a baby? So, you know, like you see some growth there. And Buell's just get an angsty teenager. He's 17. He's like, this is so embarrassing. How do I have a sibling weight that's 16 years apart from me, blah, blah, blah. I guess grandpa gave them herbal medicine. It was really super effective, which is like how they got pregnant, which you know you never messed with you know your grandparents' medical stuff because if they want a baby, they'll get a baby.
Speaker: My grandma said have a 7-Up and you'll get a baby or something. A 7-Up picks everything. yeah You know what? It's like how Dr. Pepper is like medicine to some people, like the life elixir. So...
Speaker: whatever herbal tea they're using, if you guys want to get preggy, grandpa. um They do look super young for their age. Actually, like, it threw me off a little because I don't, they don't look aged at all.
Speaker: Not Beul's parents, but like his uncle, you could tell like, okay, he's a little bit more aged. And then they changed Beta Bestie's hair a little. but his parents literally look like they did when we started the series. And mind you, this is what, 17, 18 years later? Because Beul's 17 and that would... Technically a little less because he was probably like four or five when the series ended, but...
Speaker: But like when we started the series, so you're like, andm like wow, you y all look the same. um So it's really cute. Cause like he's leaving the hospital and he's like running late for school.
Speaker: As he's walking into class, on the like chalkboard, he's like, congratulations like on the baby. And he's like, how the fuck do you guys know this? And so his two childhood friends, Shim, Miru, and Im Najoon, are bombarding him with questions. He's like, how the fuck do you guys know this? like I know you guys are like childhood besties, but his cousin...
Speaker: Beta Bestie and Older Brothers' adopted daughter. This is like where they actually tell you that she's adopted. I think we just made the assumption with a side story, but like it's like it's it said adopted.
Speaker: So she's an alpha female. They do know she's a star. People. She is brilliant. Yeah, she's she's just airing their business.
Speaker: So yeah, like, what's there to hide? Like, you you have a cute baby's sibling. And apparently, Yul is, like, the school's idol.
Speaker: We'll get more into that later. It's, like, a whole underlying tone. But he didn't debut. And that's all they say for now. So he's just, like, whatever, like...
Speaker: Just being a teenager, so he actually goes to his teacher like, hey, can i go to the nurse's office? I'm not feeling great. I didn't get the best sleep. And so he, in front the nurse's office, sees this tall guy standing there, dark purple eyes. you know, you can tell that this guy's an alpha, like your cliche kind of male lead.
Speaker: So Bill freezes. um Apparently his name is Siwoo. And... Is that name familiar?
Speaker: You tell me. He was in the Queen. a little puppy baby. He wasn't buying the Queen. he was supposed to be. And they said, oh, Siwoo's coming over. And then Siwoo did not come over.
Speaker: Which we'll get to in a little bit, too, which is the cutest thing. But yes, thankfully, the Queen had some connecting characters because I think his two besties were also in the Queen, was it? um I think, I want to say, is one of them Nanjumi? Yes.
Speaker: Okay, yeah, he was the one who actually came over. Swapped instead Siwoo. So technically, that was Beul's boyfriend at one point. He's just dating all his friends. um So he realizes it's Siwoo, and he's just like, oh my gosh, like, used to be really close, what happened? And so he's like trying to reminisce on the past, but his head hurts.
Speaker: And he's like, whatever, I'm just going to sleep. His two friends, the ones we were talking about, Nan, Jun, and Nehlu, they are visiting him and he's he's like, guess what? Guess who I saw? I saw Siwoo. And they're like, oh, he's a delinquent. He is like a bad student, dot dot da da da. And he's just like, really? Siwoo? Like, okay, I i guess.
Speaker: But is it really being a delinquent or are you just an introvert? I'm sorry. Like a scary introvert who's tall. This is like so high school BL. Literally, I don't really read a lot of high school BLs. I'm like, ooh, like is this is cliche. And talking about cliches, BL forgot he has a girlfriend. So she's like really upset with him and she she dumps him.
Speaker: And it so and he he's like, okay, whatever. like and She's like, did you even like me? It's kind of revealed he gets into relationships without realizing it and he gets dumped because again, he's not invested in them because yeah, like sure, I'll be your boyfriend. I'm like, you know what, Beale?
Speaker: You're a heartbreaker, but in a different way. I think it's worse. Not being like an active one, but being like a passive one, if that makes sense. He's so like nonchalant. Yeah. It's not on purpose, but he's also not actively trying to not be an asshole.
Speaker: It's just like, well, he's just an airhead and we ah we know his parents, so it makes sense. um But as that's happening, he actually sees, like, because they're outside, and then he actually sees Siwoo surrounded. Once again, this is high school. So...
Speaker: When you see someone one surrounded, what typically happens? Everyone goes, fight, fight, fight, and surround them. Basically. So, Simo doesn't seem like he's struggling, but Beale's over here freaking the fuck out, because he's like, he's getting bullied! Mind you, Simo's, like, towering over them.
Speaker: And it's like, okay, no one's actually fighting, but Bjol, he like jumps in, he like makes up a lie like, oh my gosh, the teacher needs to go like he, they're calling for you.
Speaker: Sibu just like brushes past him like whatever. and then they like Bjol's just like, never fucking thank you, what the fuck? Like I just saved your ass from getting bullied. Mind you, Bjol is shorter than Sibu. I think there's like a, like a good, like five inch height difference, I would say. Like it's a, it's a pretty good, they're both alphas, but there's a high difference.
Speaker: Yeah, I think the Buell's like a little, I think they'll talk about it later, he's like a little bit small for an alpha. Yeah. And then Siwoo's like fucking huge. Huge. Other alphas.
Speaker: So it's just funny seeing how Buell is like, I'm gonna save him! Being the White Knight! And I'm like, you know, yeah, you do that, baby um But it's sad, because like as he's you know kind of a little upset, he's like roaming the school still, and he passes by...
Speaker: a classroom and they're practicing dance so you get a little bit of a flashback but when he was actually in a group pre-debut he was preparing to be an idol but he got kicked out because he presented as an alpha and that was like something he was really working towards and it's like okay so he mind you he was going more idol versus like his dad who is in a band, if that makes sense. Like, his dad's not up there busting a move. Yeah, his dad was, like, singer-soundwriter.
Speaker: Yeah. Simp. And then, Joel, like, he was over there dancing and performing. So there's, like, two different musical things, but I just wanted to bring that up because this is gonna be a reoccurring thing.
Speaker: and then it goes up, we... get to know a little bit more about his sister. um This is actually a really cute scene because like he's going home and all. His baby sister's name is Luna.
Speaker: So, means star and then there's Luna. So like ah like star and moon. That's so cute. That's so cute. Especially like all golden and she's got the the dark hair.
Speaker: For once, you know what? Yes, I don't like their dad, but they did make a cute baby. you mean that hadnt everything They did.
Speaker: But Vuel's got to be cute because he took after his mama. ah But the funny part about this is So Yi, that's his cousin, brought a gift that she saved with her allowance. So our beta bestie was i like, yeah, she saved up to buy this for her.
Speaker: you know, free with her allowance and all. And then Buell over here, like i I buy you guys stuff too, like, with my allowance, what? And they're just, like, rage baiting him.
Speaker: And I'm just like, yeah. Right, because they're like, and of course, like, you can tell there's that cousin rivalry, because you have So she's this brilliant academic, almost like a sense perfect.
Speaker: Buell, they do reveal he's not the greatest like academic wise which once again he's literally a clone of his mama so i'm not surprised there but he has other things like he had he was kind of born with a silver phone uh but so doujin was laughing and biola was taking pictures of luna because Oh, sorry. Dojin was laughing because Byo was taking pics of Luna. Like, he's trying to be sneaky and all, but, you know, like, it's his baby sister. And Dojin actually says it reminded him of when Hisung was taking pictures of Byo for the first time, too. You know, like, the sundry, like, I'm not interested, but, like, look at this cute baby in front of me.
Speaker: and I'm like, oh, that's cute. Like, tying it in, because Byo and Hisung, they are, like, They're like twins. And they actually bring that up. Like they actually get mistaken as siblings a lot because of how young Heesong looks.
Speaker: And so it's just really cute to get like that kind of like mother-son dynamic. Beel's like, I'm to go to the library to study because he's like all flustered by that. Like, you didn't catch me taking pictures of my sister. No. What? This ugly thing. He actually goes syncs off to grandma's.
Speaker: the grandma that we like. Heesung's mom.
Speaker: So did we do we remember what's going on i Just a reminder, Heesung's not talking to his mom. So... she She ditched him to start another family? or wasn' she just us She didn't start another family. her His dad did.
Speaker: His dad had a whole other family and actually seemed like more of a father figured when Heesung ran into him.
Speaker: like ran away, but his mom abandoned him, like left him with his scumbag of a dad. When, you know, he's, he, he loves his mom and he's like, I, I've got to be there. So he had a hard childhood and there's just like a lot of trauma there, which will unravel little bit more.
Speaker: ah And so like he's like sharing pictures of Luna with Grandma, having a moment, and he's like, wow, he really like she really looks like Mom. I'm like, well, yeah, you guys have changed your own to really strong. you guys are like clones of each other. but so they yeah have their little moment. he you know He knows that they're not talking.
Speaker: and I'm not gonna blame Buell for this. At first I was a little upset, but at the same time he's a teenager and he doesn't understand like the whole dynamics of everything that happened and whatnot. So it's not like he's like, oh fuck you mom, I'm gonna go see grandma. It's like, I wonder why they don't talk. i wonder if they will ever talk.
Speaker: um But then after that he goes shopping. because he's like, I can buy gifts too, I can buy great gifts. And he actually finds like cute beard earrings and he's like, oh, mama looks so cute in this. he's like, what if I, mom took one earring I took another so we could match? And I'm like, stop, you guys are literally the cutest. Like, wow I love it. I do love the relationship. And I can see why Hesung like spoils the shit out of Bjol.
Speaker: Especially with how much he, at first he was like, oh, I don't want anything to do with this baby. But when he came around, he like, this is my baby. Yeah. And i didn't mention this before, but when he was going to, when, earlier when Beale was going to the office, there was a kid that was under his breath called him like an attention seeker and stuff. Well, that kid who called him attention whore um suddenly came up to him begging him like,
Speaker: oh, can you come to the bar with us? Like, we can't pick up omegas and stuff. You look old enough to be like a college student. Like, please. I didn't mean to call you. kid You know, he's like backpedaling, kissing up to Buell, and Buell's like, no, I really shouldn't. But then he's like, you think I look like a college student?
Speaker: Hmm. Okay, I'm like, how easy you? I'm sorry, Buell, but like, Just wait a little. And while this is going down, Siwoo sees, and you can tell, like, he's like, do I get involved? Do I not? But he ultimately turns away.
Speaker: And so Beale's going in um The boys, they know, like, the bar owner or manager or something. So they're getting all cozy. And as they're taking Beale's order, he orders milk at a bar.
Speaker: Because he needs milk, he needs that calcium to you grow bigger. Because once again, like you mentioned, he is smaller for an alpha. And he this actually is a huge point where I'm not sure if this is actually, i think they actually bring it in later, but I'm just going to over it now, where he's like, how's he so, how's Sibu so big? How am I so small? And then like, even his dad could build muscle easily. His dad's like, oh yeah, I'm still in shape from shaking these um Luna's milk bottles. So I still have muscles.
Speaker: And I'm like, what the hell? Like you, like, because alpha is just they are naturally physique like that so even like shaking all these milk bottles got his dad all buff but like beulis is not like that so he's over here like i need a glass of milk and they're like milk at a bar okay i'm like oh my god that's our baby right there and of course like the boy said like with them alone because they're just basic like npc looking people no offense but They're like, we're the bitches, right?
Speaker: Literally, they are. And like, Beul, like, everyone, even us, we're like, he's such a beautiful being. So people quickly start to surround him. and They're asking him questions, da-da-da. And Beul is so uninterested.
Speaker: he actually gave them like a 30-minute limit. He's like, I want to be there for 30 minutes. And He's just like, okay, I want to go home. i should be home. What parents might kill me? Well, they're like over here asking him all these other questions. And then he's like, you know, i think I'm going to leave. And they're like, no, no, no, you should stay. like, no, I really should get, I should really should leave. And The guys that dragged him here, they're like off in the corner while everyone's surrounding him on the other side of the table. So the guys finally get fed up and tell the group to leave. their And the group's like, dude, you guys invented us to table. Like, what the fuck?
Speaker: And the jealous dude, he's not having it. He's like, well, we're here for us. Like, I don't know why you guys are only giving him attention. Anywho, sketchy dude.
Speaker: He really wants to fuck over Beal. He wants to, like, basically take him from the top and drag him down to the bottom. So with the last-ditch effort, he hands Beal, like, a candy. He's like, oh, you want to know how i got good grades? It's this candy. It helps me, like, concentrate or something. And then the other guy that's with him, like, you can tell he's like, oh, this is a good idea.
Speaker: he's like, he's not going say anything. He's just going to, like, keep his mouth shut. But you could just tell by his reaction, he's like, oh, shit, like, this is happening. And Biel's like, there's candy? Can you help with this?
Speaker: And as he's like about to take the piece of candy, Siwoo swoops saves the day and drags Biel out of there, warning him like, hey, don't take candy from strangers. Like, that's sketchy as shit. Why are you in a bar anyways?
Speaker: um And it's like, don't take candy from strangers. Yeah. And I'm like, you know, yeah. Thank you, Siwoo, for actually, like, being there.
Speaker: um So that ends that scene. And then the next... They're back in school. And another cliche scene happens. Siwoo's surrounded again.
Speaker: And this time, Siwoo actually, like, throws a guy. if and so Buell, like, runs over he's like, hey, stop, don't do this, your reputation's only gonna get nasty. Because Buell's like, I don't know why everyone's saying Simu's such a bad guy Like, this is all this, and then he's over here, he's like, holy shit, he just threw a guy. What's gonna happen? But then Simu accidentally, like, knocks Buell over.
Speaker: and you can just see, like, the panic in Simu's eyes. And... But he doesn't anything. He just, like, leaves. So exaggerated lies just spread like a wildfire. And Beel's, like, not having it. He's, like, that's not what happened. He didn't throw me.
Speaker: like yeah Like, I was just trying to stop it. And he doesn't understand why everyone's just, like, so set on making Siobu this bad guy. And he's, like, he didn't mean to. He was actually surprised when I fell. So why why are they saying, like, he purposely hurt me? Um, and it's revealed that, you know, he was working and he has a secret to save up.
Speaker: But, um, oh, sorry, I jumped ahead on that.
Speaker: Backtracking. Ignore the secret. Dojin was pissed.
Speaker: He's lecturing Buell about his mock exams, about how bad his grades are. He takes after his mama after all, except he did not get the math gene. Yeah, he didn't get the one. didn't get the one. At least his mom had one. then, of course, he's like, he steps in. You're all like, school's not everything. don't need school.
Speaker: You can do whatever you want. um And this is a cute line. there There are as many jobs in this world as there are stars. And that's why we need you, Peele.
Speaker: Because you're a star. And then his dad's like, you need to stop. Also, I wish that was still true. The jobs do be dwindling. dude you to be fair, our star is dying.
Speaker: So his dad was all like, you know what we're going to We're going get your cousin to tutor you. Once again, his cousin. They have like that. It's not like a hatred, like, oh I fucking hate your guts and stuff. It's just like that. but rivalry where of course she's really good at she's the top of her class of their class and he's like oh fuck no ah of everyone i don't want her and so she's calling him a dimwit he's like stop calling me a dimwit and she's like i'll stop calling you a dimwit if you rank 15 in the class and he's like fine i'm gonna fucking prove you wrong
Speaker: So he actually it's revealed he kind of saw that Siwoo had good test scores so he finds Siwoo and asks him to tutor him.
Speaker: Ask as in like kind of blackmails him and guilt strips him. He's like, I have this picture of you and he's like, again that's not gonna do shit. Like, you're gonna bad in reputation. And he's like, well, remember you pushed me down. And he's like, oh shit. Oh, jeez.
Speaker: Um, and so siwoo gives in he's like okay fine whatever so then byo goes over siwoo's house you learn that siwoo he actually his family did have wealth but then they went bankrupt siwoo isn't actually a delinquent but he can't be bothered to set room restraint he's like whatever i'm just i'm just here he works even though he's in high school so when he's not at school he's working and that's where it's revealed that he has a secret about what he's saving up for
Speaker: I dropped the gun there. But he doesn't live with his family. He lives on his own. His family actually moved to the countryside. And so it kind of, it's kind of making sense, like how they kind of like, let's touch it all. it's kind of revealed Siwoo's, like his parents put him in through his school. And their school isn't just like a normal school.
Speaker: It kind of costs money. It's hinted. So, I mean, they're in uniforms and stuff. But as he's talking, Siwoo's talking, Buell's just really comfortable with his voice.
Speaker: And it's actually clicking. He actually brings it up. He's like, his voice is like so calming. I'm actually getting this. So he's studying. I'm like, wow.
Speaker: um Another side note. So when he went to find Siwoo, Siwoo's in the same class as his ex-girlfriend. So she's getting the wrong idea because she's like, oh, why Buell suddenly showing up to my class? Oh, gosh.
Speaker: And so she actually starts stalking him. and she's like, we didn't break up. I was just saying we were broken up for like the day. And Buell's like, no, I've I don't want to date. I just want to focus on school. Like, you know, like, do no, we're not doing this.
Speaker: And she isn't, she's not taking that really well. She's like, no, we're still dating. She tries to kiss him and he stops her.
Speaker: It's revealed that he's never actually fucking kissed anyone before. yeah. he And this this is also when she's like, how have you never kissed anyone? You've had a lot of girlfriends and ex-boyfriends.
Speaker: We love a Viking. But it's revealed when he was like a toddler. Viking, but they're all omegas, right? Yes. Do they have like, there should be like another sexuality term.
Speaker: Omega-sexual. It is, yeah. Like secondary trisexuals.
Speaker: I actually want to go over that a little post so is I have an interesting comment so let's hold on to that because oh what to talk about ah it's actually revealed when he was like a toddler his parents were like no kissing until you're an adult you can only kiss ah so you'll kind of like stuck with that. He's like, I'm not interested in kissing. He's like, do people kiss in relationships? Is that a normal thing?
Speaker: And I'm just like, oh my gosh. Yeah, your parents kind of fucked you over there, but at the same time, like, it just adds to, he's like an innocent, you'll find like innocence in him still.
Speaker: um so that's So then it pans over to him studying with Siwoo.
Speaker: he fucking asks Siwoo. about like with the whole kissing thing and Siwu suddenly gets up to leave to buy water. Biel's like, oh, I guess he didn't really like that question. He's like, I guess he's really thirsty because his fridge is still full of water. Oh my gosh.
Speaker: um And Biel's like, okay, well, I'm just gonna like rest a little. So he gets in Siwu's bed and he's like, huh, this is interesting. It smells like Siwoo, who's like a winter forest, but his fabric softener smells like lemon.
Speaker: That's really weird. It it doesn't fit him. mean He's like giggling to himself. He's like, okay, this is really interesting. He ends up snoozing a little. And then what happens when someone falls asleep in someone else's bed? Remember, this is PG. I'm not experienced in this topic then. Well, he shows up, right? Or he comes back and finds him sleeping.
Speaker: He's flustered. Okay. that mean like you so got real He's like watching. He's like, oh my gosh, he's like sleeping. And he so he actually goes to like touch Biel's hair. And Biel, of course, like the cliche wakes up right then and there. And Siwoo, like he's obviously, he got caught off guard. He got caught red handed.
Speaker: Not like doing anything inappropriate, but just, you know, like the yearning. Uh, goes all sundry via like you're being really cozy in someone else's bed and session's over and Biel's over here like wait I'm so sorry like da da da but then she was like you're fine studying on your own I believe in you I'm like okay so like there's some niceness as you're getting kicked out
Speaker: I mean, poor baby boy is flustered at them. That's why he went to go get more water. He's thirsty. He's thirsty. um And so the next scene is actually really cute because this this next little part is going to be about the tests.
Speaker: I really love that they include a lot of so-yee. So-yee-yo. Sorry.
Speaker: Siyo, the cousin. Is it?
Speaker: I thought it was Soyi. I was right at first. Oh my gosh. My bad. So Soyi, her parents are like cheering her on her papa, you know, dogen made seaweed soup for her. So he's over there and apron with the soup. But then they forgot about the superstition about seaweed, if you eat seaweed soup before an exam, um that's really bad because like the answers will like slip right under you or something. she's like, I don't believe in superstitions. I'm actually i have another bowl. Thank you, parents. And she's just like, you just tell all the love that she gets from her parents.
Speaker: and because like her dad's just he's he doesn't have a lot of words but you could just tell on his expression he's like i fucked up i i can't serve her this and she's like no dad like i'm so happy thank you and he's really embarrassed too i'm like look at these dhoti parents yeah what an idiot everyone knows that you can't have seaweed soup before an exam like Duh.
Speaker: And it's like midterm exams too. It's not even like a final exam and they're like freaking out over it. um it's revealed, guess what? Drumroll. Buell actually got 15. 15? Is that good? Yeah, because he was like ranking bottom of the class. Okay. So now he's like in the middle, kind of little higher.
Speaker: And... We love average. C's get degrees. Woo! Listen, the those study sessions, you know? um
Speaker: It's really cute because he's like, you can't call me a dimwit anymore. And I'm like, you know what? Yeah, he has a point. He's setting for his right reasons.
Speaker: So he actually tied for first and she's upset. Second place actually is really Suga go to Siwoo. But for some reason, he got eighth.
Speaker: And so something's up here. um And obviously, he doesn't want to be there. His parents stuck him in the school. He has a lot going on in life.
Speaker: So it's like, okay, what's going on here? So Beel's following. So you're being like, you can't call me a dimmo anymore. She's like, you should have asked for something better than that.
Speaker: So like they're bickering and so he follows her to her club. It's a classical music club in the middle school. He's like, oh, this is interesting. They open the door. sam It's open.
Speaker: The princess. Oh, she's such a cutie. Do we all remember who she is? Chels? You want to share with the class? She is the child of the psycho Omega.
Speaker: His name two watch or one and the really sweet beta she's the omegas baby created from his egg and a donor and she's very pretty little baby with big blue eyes yes that's all i know she is literally gorgeous and she's a little younger than them so since they're in high school she's in a middle school and I'm just glad to like shoot me an appearance. i'm like, oh my gosh, she's so pretty. ah
Speaker: It's cute because like the next scene, it's just like a little like filler scene and I just had to share this. Dojone is sad. He blames his himself for so he you missing a question because he made a seafood soup for her.

Speaker: And he also outed his dad for also keeping touch. Oh. And one last dig.
Speaker: he's He told his mom, I knew you wanted to get rid of me when I was a baby. And he saw him like, he like falls over and Beal like runs. He books it. That's really hard because...

Speaker: And his mom's furious. And so they, like, leave and they're in the parking lot. He's like, I'm still gonna drop out and all. And then his mom forgot something, so she, like, went to go get it. But as, like, Siwoo's in the parking lot, like,
Speaker: fuck the school, it's all over. Biel rushes to him, he's like, I like you too, don't leave!
Speaker: And so... Stop! This isn't you! And Si Wu folds so quickly, he's like, okay, I'll stay. and so when his mom gets back, he's like she's like, the fuck? you were you were like, on my ass, but now you're gonna stay? Okay.
Speaker: So they have a cute moment, Beul and Siwoo. They are at school. And then so that group from earlier that was dancing, I guess they, I think was the same group. They were performing and they're singing Beul's dad's song, but it's so bad.
Speaker: Of course, like Beul had to say something about it. And guess what? Due to Beul's criticism, the senior overpracticed and lost his voice. Oh gosh.
Speaker: Because Beul's like, you're ruining the song! Wow. Okay, Beba. And then Seewoo's like, you know why don't you like to say anymore, Beul?

Speaker: It gets a little tense. Because, so like, you know, feels like kind of like, to be fair, he's kind of aching her on. And it she kind of reveals, she's like, I'm just an average alpha.
Speaker: You had everything handed to you. You're beautiful. You have these great parents. I don't have any anything compared to you. And my life has, like, been dull until I'm thin.
Speaker: I know it. And it's so ironic because of our parents' history. So so he knows about like their history and all. And Beel's like, I still want to help you. And she's like, you were born with it all. i was adopted. Beel's like, what?

Speaker: Chowon has been hard on Bin, but it's been out of love because this is a cute quote. A pretty girl like her only deserves the best. But we can't swallow her too much before she turns too much like me. oh my When confiding in like her hubby at all.
Speaker: But, because, you know, they were like, where are you going? Where are you going today? We have gotten your tickets. And she's like, no, like, so you got me tickets. And she's like, why why are you wasting your time with those kind of people?
Speaker: So it's like a tough love kind of thing. It's not like out of ill intent or anything, but it wass just like, I could give you the best. So it's cute. They go on their date. So Ye is whipped. Like when I say whipped, I mean like she can't focus.

Speaker: And so Ye just, like, she's done. She leaves devastated. so we're gonna put a pause on that. Because... They visit different points. So another point, another scene that comes up is what is it?
Speaker: Oh, Byul and Dojin are talking and they're just talking about grandma and how Byul wishes like they they would meet.
Speaker: And, you know, Dojin understands where he's coming from, but he's like, I'm going to stand on my, you know, on Heesung's side if he wants to meet it her or not. Like, I'm gonna respect his wishes. I can't push anymore and all. Heesung overhears.
Speaker: He confronts them. And he's like, okay, we'll meet her. We'll meet her right now. And they're terrified. Because Heesung did not lose his shit. He's just calm. Like, emotionless and calm. And just how immediate. Like, they're like, oh, right now? Like, right now? Right now?
Speaker: So, they're in the car. They're driving. and They're like, uh, what do we do? We didn't... We weren't prepared for this. Like, we were talking about it. We wanted this, but we weren't prepared for it. And so, they are getting up to the gates to Grandma's house. He's like, I'm gonna show her I'm living my best life. I didn't need her, da-da-da. As they get to the door, he like... freezes up and Dojin's like we don't we don't have to go in and you don't have to do this and he's like no I'm gonna so he bursts in and of course it's like the cliche grandma turns around before Hisung gets to say anything he just falls to his knees and starts sobbing asking her why did she abandon him they cry they chat they have dinner it's a good time
Speaker: They, you know, they're sharing like, oh, this is like your granddaughter, dada da da. Grandma's cooking them dinner. you would think it's like a really good time. But as they're like driving home, he sounds like, you know, I'm glad I did that.
Speaker: But I don't want see her again. And but he thanks his son and husband for looking after her. you like But thank you for looking after mom. So they're like, you know, he still has some healing to do. But it makes sense. Like, there's just, like, so much to it. But at least he's not, like, completely shutting her out now. Now he's, like, at least she's getting taken care of by the people I love.
Speaker: Yeah. It's kind of nice. It's not just, like, everything's all happy endings. You know, he's had this whole life of trauma over her. Yeah. like And it felt like it was going to be all happy endings by, like, how their dinner turned out. No, it wasn't.
Speaker: the end of the day, he still kept his... boundaries and I respect him for that. He's like, yeah, I opened up a lot of day. yeah You're like, but you know what? At the end of the day, Siwoo finally comes over.
Speaker: like This is like a few days later. He sounds completely oblivious to them. because He's like, they're both alphas. What are they going to But Dojin's like, no, there's something up with them. and you And he sounds like, nah no, no.
Speaker: They're fine. So it's cute because like they're they're having a little cute scene and then they start having a makeout session and then you hear knock, knock, knock. It's Dojin. He's cock-fucking them. So then, Beel's like, oh, i'll just walk I'll just walk him to, like, the corner or the bus or something. And he's like, what the fuck? He's walking them all the way home. Like, Do-shin starts stalking them.
Speaker: And so they're front of, like, Si-woo's apartment and they're going for a hug. And he, like, caught red-handed! So he drags him back home to prove to He-sung that he was right.
Speaker: Wow. Okay. Yeah. And so they're on their knees. C was apologizing. He's like, I'm sorry, father. And Doja's like, how am i a father to a brute like you?
Speaker: I'm like, and he's like, oh my God, oh what the fuck's going on? Okay, but if this is how he is with his alpha son, i don't know what Luna is, but if he ends up with an Omega daughter, are going to be in trouble. oh right We will be. me Oh my gosh.
Speaker: But it's cute because, you know, like they all both his parents are protective in their own ways. Yeah. He's over here like, dude, okay, okay. um And then there's a pause to that because we're going to go back to Bin for a moment here.
Speaker: So remember how she like that was like fixated on that one guy well she was like nagging him she's like how did how do you not know this artist like she's like nagging the shit out of him because he knows nothing about classical music And so then he's like, you know what? Fuck this. Like, you might be pretty, but that's all you are. And then he, like, left the club.
Speaker: And then she just judged him. She's like, you look like you know music. She's pretty. Okay. He's like this basic ass looking dude. Like, so he's so cute. And I'm like, girl.
Speaker: And so the other club members are like, oh, we kind of miss Soyi, da-da-da. And, like, the club's not the same without her. And Bin's all like, we don't need her.
Speaker: Did she stop going because she felt rejected by Bin? Yeah, shes she's, like, avoiding Bin. And Beal feels really bad because Beal's like, I think I might have crossed a boundary.
Speaker: Maybe this wasn't the best. ah So then Bin is at home and she's, like, ranting to her dad. about classical music and artists. And she's like, could you believe this guy? He didn't even know this. son ah Poor, poor dad. He's like, I don't know how to handle this. So he's like, so I didn't go finish cooking dinner. I'll call you when dinner comes over. And this hurts her deeply. Cause she's like, even my own dad can't relate to me. She's like, am I an outcast?
Speaker: I don't have any friends. Okay. Autistic queen. Right. And I felt bad. Cause like, Yeah, it's hard because to be fair, her dad is such a sibling. He doesn't doesn't really even know how to handle the all his own Omega. Just saying. He tried to spend the heat session with.
Speaker: So, you know what? It's okay. But then it's a cute thing because as her dad is like going to her door, he's like, oh, she added more stay out signs. Yeah.
Speaker: respecting that. He's like, um, there's another one. So he actually asked Chowon to talk to Ben. He's like, uh, I think i she's pissed off at me. Can you go talk to her? Because there's more signs on the door.
Speaker: like, wow, the sign really works for him. And he's like, I have no idea how to deal with him that goes through puberty. I think it's more than just an omega through puberty, but okay. It's also just for whose child she is Right?
Speaker: So Chowon actually goes in to talk to Bin and, you know, tells Bin, like, people will approach you being a dominant omega because, you know, you're really pretty, you attract a lot of people, but then...
Speaker: It's hard because they'll be turned off by your personality. Whether, you know, it's like the best. part They'll just be turned off. It's not like they expect it because they just see like this pretty image of you. And he says, you're a lot quicker than I was about it because I didn't find out until I was in my 20s.

Speaker: And awkwardly hugs Ben. And then that's a moment where Ben's like, huh. So he actually might be my mom. As they're like literal clones. So with that being said, ben confidently goes to the high school to find So Yi.
Speaker: we're like, yeah, we love it. she They're like, what's this middle schooler doing in here? And she's like, hey. And she confides in there. Like, i really enjoy, like, having our classical talks. I really enjoy talking with you. I want to keep talking with you and attending concerts with you. And so he's just, like, over the moon. She's like, pardon what? So they, like, reconcile. And Gilles even, like, ooh, something happened to him. And so he, like, makes a snarky remark. He's like, ah, yep, she's back to her old self.
Speaker: oh And then I'm sorry to tina say so I you know I read this I just read it when it was it was coming out and stuff and I remember i was kind of bothered and confused by the way their story went especially because I thought it was over when I didn't understand why she stopped talking to so ye and she liked this other boy and whatever like i was really confused by it but now that I'm thinking about it and obviously you've read it more recently than I have do you think it was because on the date So Yi was so nervous and only focused on Bin and, um you know, even wearing makeup and like trying to look different and stuff.
Speaker: Do you think that Bin was just kind of by the end of the date? Like, we didn't just talk about crafts classical music. Like, maybe they didn't bond over music like what she wanted. No, they were actually having good time because they had that moment where So Yi, like, they were talking about the parents and how...
Speaker: Like, so he's not blood related and all. So they had that key moment, like, oh my gosh, like, that makes me like, like even more. that that I think she just got hyper fixated on someone. Cause like this guy, she like saw this guy. It's like the radar, like,
Speaker: It looks like he would. She's been fiending for friends. Yeah. So I think it was like more of an innocent thing. Like, oh this is another friend potentially. And then, of course, he knows nothing about classical music. So it's kind of like you don't know what you have until you don't have it. Yeah.
Speaker: So since like you have a friend taking you to like a concert and doing all this, like you don't realize it until, oh, I don't have that anymore.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Because i I thought that at first, what you were saying, but then that moment they they had just actually like getting vulnerable with each other, like, oh no, like, Ben just literally got hyper fixated, like, damn.
Speaker: I made the joke, but I'm not joking. She really is, for me, she was one of the most autistic, like, coded characters I've ever read. Especially with the the hyper fixations, but like, yeah, okay, you know, whatever cliches. is But it was actually the like her being upset. And like her she was actually upset with everyone, with her father, with everyone that they don't just want to talk about classical music. And she doesn't want to get why no one just wants to talk to her about classical music all day.
Speaker: And she doesn't understand why they can't communicate with her. And then it's also revealed that she's not as musically talented as Chowon. So like there's that. But no, I do like how they made her that autistic because she has a whole club. One point about So Yee being in the club is like, oh, like we needed another member but da da to actually have the club running. It's revealed that the other club members aren't as into classical music as she is.
Speaker: Yeah. and that's fair I think we've all done that where we try to get into something like, oh, that sounds fun. I'll try to get into that. And then like you get there and like everyone's really scary into it. And you're like, I don't feel welcome because they are so into this.
Speaker: Yeah. You're like, I'm literally like a normie. I'm like level one intro level. and You guys are like pro experts, blood type, everything. yeah oh Man, I thought it was just like a really cute thing. But for this story, i feel like it wrapped up a little.
Speaker: Like it was cute reconcile, but also. Okay. Yeah. Their story really left me wanting more. I was excited about it. Like one, because I like both the sets of their parents so much. um because they're both girls, like, and we don't see that enough. And, like, I was excited for them. and i was like, oh, my God, I can't believe, like the daughters like each other.
Speaker: and then, yeah, I just felt like it kind of went nowhere. There were two parts, but it went nowhere. It went nowhere. They reconciled a little too easy. Like, not too easily, but it's like, okay, cool. So was just, you just needed to fucking talk to each other.
Speaker: Well, we're almost done. I promise you guys. I'm doing this one part. Dojin has actually been like down, like depressed ever since he found out Beol and Siwoo are dating.
Speaker: And Biel's like, well, he's talking to his mom, well, I've dated a lot of people before. And his mom's like, no, like, you're actually being serious about Siwoo. As everyone else, you weren't as serious. And Dojin knows this. And he's like, oh, I guess so. and so, Hisung actually reveals to Biel that before him, Dojin hated omegas and only dated alphas.
Speaker: And then Buell goes and boos his dad for it. I remember this panel. oh That's like the cutest fucking panel love, but... It's Buell and his mom, right? Or both? Yep, like, boo!
Speaker: So it's funny... That somewhere, I feel like that is too good. Right? It's funny, because, like, it's not because... Siwoo's an alpha, because, like, Dojin, like, obviously has dated around alphas. He's like, my baby boy's growing up! but So that's what's getting him depressed. So throughout the week, Dojin eventually calms down, finding out things about how smart Siwoo is. Because even Soyi is like, oh yeah, he's he's actually pretty smart.
Speaker: And Beo's like, he helped me study, that's why I got 15th. So when Siwoo comes over, his dad like kind like kind of storms off him. So he's like, is your dad mad at me? And Beo's like, nah, he just doesn't want admit to admit defeat.
Speaker: And then i had to include this. Beul actually called him a boomer. I remember this. I mean, as a relation, but... Yeah, but like, yep, you know what?
Speaker: You're right about that. He's like, he's a boomer about these things. Oh my gosh. And so because, you know, this whole time Beul wanted Siwoo to... make friends and stuff so he was able to slip Siwoo in his friend group and it's cute because like they're hanging out at Siwoo's apartment in the whole cliche oh we're gonna go home early and all ah so it's Biol and Siwoo and Biol agrees to stay over Siwoo lives alone so he only has one bed so once again cliches there was one bed
Speaker: And so, of course- It's an after school special. Yeah! And then so Siwoo's like, um mean I can't make a guest sleep on the floor, you're gonna take the bed, and Beul's like, no, you take the bed, I'll sleep on the floor.
Speaker: And so, like, it's like the whole cliche scene, because Siwoo's an innocent baby. Because you would think, because they're like, okay, they came to a compromise, like, light bulb.
Speaker: Beul's like, are we gonna share? Siwoo's like, let's rock, paper, scissors this. So then Siwoo is on the bed because I forgot if he won or not. Anyways, whatever, he ended up on the bed, Beel's on the floor.
Speaker: They are both too nervous to fucking sleep. So Beel's like, hey, are you awake? And all he's like, and then Beel brings up his fabric softener. He's like, you know, it's really funny because it doesn't match your pheromones at all. It's like this like fruity, lemony scent.
Speaker: And then Siwoo says... Do you not know how your pheromones smell? Because it's how you smell. And then Beulah gets embarrassed, so he, like, puts the cover on. He's like, okay, goodnight. And Seawoodle's, like, he's, like, all flustered. He's like, hey, I'm not mad at you. Like, I, and so he pulls back the cover, trying to explain, like, trying to backtrack, and Beulah's, like, blushing. He's embarrassed. He's like, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, didn't realize it, because he didn't know his own scent. Like, that,
Speaker: he's like this lemony scent that doesn't match because it's revealed his scent is kind of like how he looks like this like cute little lemon. there So I remember reading the scene and you're the first person I thought of because I know you love your scent.
Speaker: But also, I remember thinking about this when you were telling the story, but I don't remember ah his mom smelled like oranges or something similar, right? Was it oranges? I think it was oranges. It's something pretty. Did you see?
Speaker: So like the fact that they kept it in like the family, that's so cute. Yeah, so I love sense. So was like, oh, this is going be. Everyone's going to love this.
Speaker: And then so they
Speaker: kiss and then they start kind of getting turned on. Beol's thinking, I'm not repulsed by his pheromones anymore. I'm actually really getting turned on by this. Siwoo sees Veo tearing up and immediately pulls away. He's apologizing. He's like, I'm so sorry. I'm a scumbag. And Veo's like, no, no, no.
Speaker: I'm really enjoying this. And I want to do i want to do i wantt do it with you, but we should wait until we're proper adults. So Siwoo drops him off and It's a cute scene where Biel's like, stop turning around and just go home. Because every few steps, people will turn around. Take a few steps, turn around. And that's how the story ends. So it's a really cute and wholesome story. So wholesome. it reveal like it's a cute reveal. like you know His fabric's off-rinder smells like Biel, because that's how obsessed he's been with Biel.
Speaker: Yeah. That's very cute. It is... It's an interesting choice, I think, that they decided to make like a PG story this series. cause It's like, who was that for? like the Were there kids out there who were like, I want to read this story, but I'm a kid, so I need something more clean. i don't know. if It's really interesting because part of it, I can see, like oh it would be weird to see it be an adult. Like, oh, we saw you being made, and now we're seeing you make a baby.
Speaker: Oh, 100%. I just... The fact that they even said, oh we should wait till we're proper adults. Like, they are really taking it slow, which, I mean, I appreciate, because, like, there is no, like, risk. Like, the risky scenes were them kissing, but, like... Yeah. There wasn't even, like, a handshake or a happy shirt.
Speaker: And there was some was of like, wow, they're getting pretty hot and heavy. I know nothing's to happen, but... Wow, okay. And it was like, what, two or three panels only? Yeah, yeah. and by that point, having read it for that long, I was like, oh my gosh, this is really risque. And I'm like, wait, I've seen your parents. I saw you being made.
Speaker: I was there. I'm an auntie. But yeah, no, it was really interesting. I don't hate it because it... It gave us more into, like, the adopted daughter. Like, that's so cute that, like, we were saying, they fucking get forgot. Right. That was really cute. I liked that.
Speaker: And then seeing Ben some more, because Ben was such a gorgeous baby, grew up to be such a pretty girl. And the thing with these stories is, like, I always liked the art in Love is an Illusion. It gets better and better, like we talked about, you know, even just in the original story with the chapters becoming in color and stuff.
Speaker: And then... um i I don't know if I commented on it enough, but the art in The Queen was gorgeous. Like, it just... The artist has only gotten better, and the colors were so beautiful. and And now this one was, like, for me, like, the tops. Like, the art... Yeah, it looked the same, but it looked so good. Like, it was so beautiful.
Speaker: I think it helped that was, like, full color compared to the original. Because original was, like, only, like, colored in little parts, which is normally the spicy scenes. yeah Well, it kind of kept growing, because first, like, only certain scenes...
Speaker: were in color, and then I believe all the side stories were in color. Yes. I forgot it was black and white. And yeah, like said, the queen was completely in color. Yeah, it is cream was full color. It's gorgeous. It revisited, you know, some of our favorite side couples. Not as much as I would like, but it makes sense because it is a kid's story.
Speaker: it felt like they, like, purposely just gave them all a little cameos. Like, this whole story to me felt like it was like, hey, let's just give the fans, you know, their little bits. Let them see their characters when they're older, how things turned out. And it it did that. It was successful with that. I feel like it had the same vibe as the original story.
Speaker: For better words. i get I just found it really interesting that they included that baby scene. Because everyone was like, yeah, Hesum shouldn't have had another baby. He was told he could have another baby. And then boom, baby.
Speaker: Yeah, and it just took some herbal metals in medicine. Yeah, because I remember Hesum was devastated because he wanted more babies. Oh, they were happy. He was devastated for a moment. i don't think I think they made it seem he was going to be. He was not. Oh. Immediately. Like, everyone was surprised that both of them were like, yay, unprotected sex.
Speaker: Yeah. And i remember the author got asked if Buell was going to have a sibling. And the author back then said, you know, maybe they were fucking lying on purpose, but they were like, no, Buell's not getting a sibling.
Speaker: Yeah, I feel like, because like, Luna was only mentioned, like, a handful of times. Yeah, she really wasn't in it that much, but also, she's an infant, what's she gonna do isn But then when you put in an infant, right, because now we want to see her growing up.
Speaker: Right? Especially... she's gonna be old when she's older. Yeah. Because when Biol was born, Dojin was 26.
Speaker: So at... Oh my gosh. yeah I'm not Hesung. Someone do the math. I was wondering why this has happened. Is it 26 plus 18? I'm going to say 18 because... No, not 18 because 26 at the beginning. Yeah.

Speaker: So he he's currently 43, 44. Okay, not that bad. No, but then when his daughter's like 18. Yeah, when his daughter's 18, he's gonna be 60 in his 60s.

Speaker: But, you know, yeah with how young they look already, it's okay. He'll probably barely look 40. Okay, the thing I did want to talk about, ah i think Siwoo looks too much like Sojun.
Speaker: Yeah. Like he, so Buell's boyfriend looks like his own dad.
Speaker: That's why it kind of threw me off a little. Because um I know they try to make his hair like just black, not like that bluish. But yeah, he looks lot like... It was still the bluish. Yeah.
Speaker: And I'm like, oh, he... Like respectfully, he is a cutie. But at the same time, I was like, you couldn't have given him a different color scheme? Yeah.
Speaker: I feel like kind of everyone in that series either had blonde, brown, or blue hair. And I guess maybe in their universe, blue was like black. But no, some characters had hair that was like closer to black.
Speaker: I don't know. see, blue was closer to black. But like they they always had like a lighter hair cut one and then a darker hair one in the herring. Which is pretty common, I'd say in general.
Speaker: Yeah. But i was like, you could have mixed it up. You could have made him, I don't know, like a redhead or something. to make him less looking like Dojin. Yeah, for sure. But I also find it funny because Dojin started off only dating alphas and then found his omega and he explained to Beul that. But then now Beul is dating an alpha. Like, wow, not only did they think you were going to be omega, but you turned out to be an alpha. But another cliche is you take after your dad, you are dating an alpha.
Speaker: Yeah, except that he used to only date omegas. Omegas, yeah. So I'm like, hmm. You know, you are you are your parents' child. yeah we We all knew that, but... I do like It seems like he does have like pieces of both his parents. like I actually thought he was a pretty good mix.
Speaker: He was a really good mix, actually. Especially how he's really bad at school. you And then... And he does have that like airhead-ness about him.
Speaker: Yeah. But it it annoyed me less with him than Heeson.
Speaker: Because I think with him, it's because you could tell he is a kid. Yeah, that's true, I guess. But, I mean, really, He-Sun was only a few years older than him when we met him. I like He-Sun better. Like, I just like his character more. Oh, I love his character. was fine, but I don't know. There was a little bit of, I guess, a disappointment because he was such a cute baby. Like, you know, I stand by it. He's one of the cutest babies there's ever been in Omegaverse. And he just, like, his personality was just, like, so cute and so bright.
Speaker: And I know he's still supposed to kind of be like that, but it was more like a we're telling you that everyone likes him and not so much a like, hey, he's likable. But like teenagers are just kind of unlikable, though. So guess. Yeah.
Speaker: It is just hard because like how they're like, oh, you're still technically a school idol. But then there's that. And like, I kind of want to know, like, so is he going to pick up music then?
Speaker: Like, what's going on with that? Yeah, true. Because There's so much because obviously him not debuting as an idol like was a huge thing that because I didn't mention this. because I was like, i remember you said you're quitting music to focus on school.
Speaker: you need to focus on s school. Yeah. And I wonder if I wonder if if I feel like he will go back to music. But I'm wondering if the idol thing kind of seemed like it was him trying to do what he loves, but without being too much like his dad, because his dad was not an idol.
Speaker: I almost wonder if now he's like feels more secure, and maybe he wants to be more of like a singer like his dad. See, that would be a cute story They could make an 18 plus version. Yeah, people from college for music. They could still go abroad. But I also really liked how even though his parents are rich and loaded, he was thought he he had a strength on by with his own allowance. He's like, I barely get an allowance myself.
Speaker: Yeah, that's cute. So i was like, okay, he's he wasn't as spoiled as we thought he would be. Even though Hyesung really tried to save his ass. Yeah.
Speaker: But I mean it's granted, like, you know, you're you have a doting parent. and It's not that Dojin hated him. He's just trying to be like that firm one. Yeah, someone has to. Yeah.
Speaker: Someone has to drag them back home being like, I fucking told you something's up with them. So yeah. so thoughts other than what we just shared? how do we feel like this universe is done or do you think there's some more That's a good question. i kind of feel like it's not done, but at the same time, like what else are they going to do? Like, yeah, there's more characters that can be explored. They can keep going.
Speaker: on you know with these characters and give them an 18 plus. Part me hopes they don't. I'll read whatever comes out. like i'm For whatever reason, I'm loyal to this series, even though I do not love it.
Speaker: i don't think Love is an Illusion was great. I think The Queen was one of the worst things I've ever read. and didn't love Superstar. like Superstar just felt bland. It felt safe and fine and whatever. Yeah. that keep light If I were to read Superstar first, I don't know if I would have fit like gotten into the whole universe if that makes sense i hate to say it i wouldn't have read it because it's not 18 enough yeah that's that's exactly why because it's so just pg like the fact that even the kiss took like almost the middle of the series yeah like you can't really move backwards like that e like i said i don't really know who or why like that choice was made but it was fine and i i did wish they developed
Speaker: develop the girls a little bit more. Because they had that great moment of when they were confiding in each other. And especially like Soyi revealed like some of her insecurities because she was, not of blood. Yeah.
Speaker: And like that was such a great build up only to be like Yeah. Just kidding. Yeah, I really got introduced, you know, kind of early on. was like, yes they're going to be in it. And then was like, oh my gosh, they're finally getting their arc. And especially because their arc kind of came after the boys were already, like, officially together. So, like, yes, they're going to be a full arc. And, like, they did, but it just wasn't that strong.
Speaker: Oh. It was fine. But, you know, like you said, if there's more that comes out, we'll we'll read it. But, I mean, is what it is. He, Buell is pretty as a main character.
Speaker: But I feel like he's a little too cliché. Yeah. He's gorgeous. His design is great. And it's I love when you can actually, sometimes you're like, okay, they talk about how one character is so beautiful. And you're like, yeah, all the characters are beautiful. So what?
Speaker: And I feel like Love is an Illusion has done a great job with that. Like Chowon and his daughter Bin both really do look like they stand out in a room. And then Buell, even even compared to his parents, he got like the best best of both of his parents. He looks like he stands out in a room.
Speaker: Which is so funny because he saw, there's two sides to him. They're like, oh, he's fucking ugly. and others were like, oh, he's fucking gorgeous. so Like, what what the fuck is he supposed to look like? Yeah. So with Beale, it's like, well, obviously he got the best, like you said, best of both of his parents' genes. Like, he looks like he sparkles.
Speaker: He does. that's That's why he's a little star. He's a little sparkle star. But yeah, anyways, i think for now, because there's no other Love is an Illusion, we're going to wrap this all on up.
