Speaker: so ah Hopefully you guys were part of our Omegaverse 101 special that we did because betas cannot get omegas pregnant.
Speaker: I'll admit I didn't know that early on. Like, even though even though I read this early on, I remember that was one thing that confused me. Was I thought betas, or yeah, I thought betas could get omegas pregnant. And this was the where oh, but they can't. Yeah, i think the only way that could happen is biologically if it's like a male beta and a female mega, but that's like straight shit that we don't, we're not here for. Speaker: Our poor, poor idiot. He drops a question. He asks, you go into heat? And so Chowod is so thrown off by this, he nearly crashes their car.
Speaker: And I'm like, honestly, that's a real reaction, because out of everything that could have came out of this man's mouth, asking about someone's heat, especially to a dominant Omega, yeah.
Speaker: He's like, stay in your lane, beta. Quite literally. And he opened up a little being like, yeah, I'm a dominant omega. Of course I go into heat. He actually goes into heat twice a month, which crazy because first of all, being biologically female, going into period once month is already hell. I know it's not the same thing, but just like if I had to go in into a period twice. Yeah.

Speaker: Apparently that scumbag is friends with Dujan. He's actually Dujan's friend since elementary school. Oh. Oh, awkward. Okay. Yeah, like... was like, okay, like, how is this guy, like, reappearing again? That's friend since elementary Wait, let know.

Speaker: How Heesung was saying he was an alpha. But he's actually an omega. And he tried to get on with him. Even though he bonded. da da da Mind you. Apparently Doozhin didn't know any of this.
Speaker: Yeah, he didn't know that Heesung tried to, like, go fuck another alpha. That's how he found out they were bonded. So, Heesung here, he's like, fuck you! Why are you spreading rumors?

Speaker: So there's like this little bit of resentment and jealousy since elementary school. And mind you, from our last episode, we found out they're like 26 years old. So that is some, like, what, two decades long?

Speaker: Doozhin kind of opens up to Heesung being like, even when I'm with you, I miss you. Like, I'm so obsessed with you that it hurts. And hearing these things come out of another alpha's mouth just really upsets me. because And maybe I need therapy like Chowon.

Speaker: But then it goes on to our next side couple. um The older brother and the other beta. So the beta bestie is Hisu, who is besties with the younger brother, Dujin.
Speaker: and But he's dating his older brother, Du Jun.
Speaker: Just a recap. Well, they adopted a dog together. Which is really cute. And it's like their child. The dog's name is Dal. D-A-L? Dal? Dal or Dal? Yeah.
Speaker: Well, they even mention, like, oh, this is basically our child.
Speaker: Unfortunately, a fur baby isn't a human baby. And our beta bestie here wants a human baby. And so he confronts his man about having a surrogate.
Speaker: And like, hey, we should continue on your genes. studa ah Dujian gets pissed. He's like, I don't want a child. And... our beta bestie is like, hold up.
Speaker: Yes, you do. You probably don't know it, but the way you're fucking me, the comment that you made, like, eatin you unconsciously want a baby. And that kind of, like, ignites your fight a little bit more He's like, okay, that one side comment, I made while i was in heat, da-da-da, like,

Speaker: of story. So they literally just don't talk to each other, which is hard because, you know, they're arguing about having a baby and seeing how they are with Buell, they'd be great fucking parents.
Speaker: They're too prideful. And so it kind of bounces back and forth with like little so stories here and there. But I'm going to get to the meat of it. Like I said, um even our main couples, like you guys are fighting. What the fuck?
Speaker: Well, a few days have passed. And to say I think I remember this being like one of my favorite side stories. This one? It's really cute how wraps up. And I remember like feeling like happy. There was some point where they adopted the puppy. And I was like, oh, that's their baby. And then this one me getting like, no, they need a baby, baby. Yeah. And like they're right away from their problems. That's why they're not talking to each other. And then Hisu texts him being like, I'm sitting at Biel's house.
Speaker: Which I really love how it says Buell's house and not, like, you know, oh like any of the parents. Oh, that's so funny. Buell just runs everyone's lives. it Literally, I need a Buell fan club shirt, too.
Speaker: And, you know, he's reading the text while he's in the fucking bathtub. Okay? we We all know where this is gonna go.
Speaker: And so, he sue shows up In the bathroom. Because he was like dropping stuff off. And so they kind of have like a little conversation. Reconcile little. And apologize. Like he apologizes to Alpha.
Speaker: Being like hey sorry. I pushed it. I didn't consider your feelings. And you know if you don't want a baby. You know i I'll respect that. But then Alpha even apologized. Being like.
Speaker: You know what. Now, we were both in the wrong. We were running away from it. We needed talk. Da-da-da. Talking leads to him pulling Beta Bestie the bathtub, who's fully closed. And then suddenly has no clothes because they have some fucking spicy makeup sex. Oh, I forgot to mention this. Beta Bestie hasn't been getting hard.
Speaker: This is the first time he's gotten hard in a lot hot minute. So our alpha over here is like, oh, maybe fighting once in a while helps because now our fucking beta is hard.

I feel like we're kind of skipping because this was just the part of that stood out for me was i think I remember the alpha just kind of saying like, everyone's so obsessed with my genes or something. Yeah. You know, I haven't read this in like years, so I'm totally paraphrasing. Like, yeah, basically everyone's obsessed with my genes. Everyone in this family is obsessed with dominant alphas, dominant this, dominant that.

Speaker: Yeah, so they did they they were so quick with it that they didn't really go into it. And I think we kind of assumed they adopted because the whole Jean situation.
Speaker: um But she is a cutie, so. Yeah, she's very cute. And then the next, I think the next. I do remember tearing up at that part. I don't like I haven't read it in so long. I don't know exactly how. good I know it was a quick cut, but I didn't just s seeing them like with the baby or with the daughter. And I think at the time I thought it was more of a time skip. I wasn't sure if they had her from a baby or not. But I think I think we know now that it was pretty recent after they adopted her. But yeah, for me, I thought it was a time skip, too. But then when it jumped to the next story, I'm like, oh, maybe it wasn't a time skip.

Speaker: and I think he actually yelled out Chowon. I don't know if it was like in the head or if he actually said out loud because the bubbles were a little... It's sometimes hard to distinguish that. But guess who fucking appears? Yeah.
Speaker: Chowon. And he's just like, what the fuck are doing with my man? And everyone's just like, this beta. You actually showed up for this fucking beta. And he's over there, still on the ground, like... And...

Speaker: You would think, you know, kind of change of heart as we saw with Dujin's family eventually. ah no So he's like, not these bitches. Nope. He's like, you are a fucking disappointment. Not only did you get married, you're having a baby.
Speaker: You don't even have a father to the baby. Speaker: Remember how Chowon's like, you're not gonna ever see my fucking baby? Yeah. Well, he heads the baby over. it's like, I feel so bad that my parents could see the baby, but you can't.
Speaker: Yeah. For him, he's like, this is family. Yeah. like To him, family means something. it means so much. and father goes, she looks a lot like Chowon when he was younger.
Speaker: in it was really sad because... I'm going to pause and kind of backtrack a little. When she was born, or idiot bestie was like, I want to see pictures of you when you were younger. And he's like, well, that's never going fucking happen because all the photos are at my parents' house.
Speaker: So you could kind of see where it's sad, but also like hearing, oh, she looks just like him. We could tell he was a cute fucking ass baby. Yeah.
Speaker: um And so father. almost i wonder I know he was being dumb. But like him calling her ugly when she was born. And saying like she takes after you. i wonder if that was a bit of him.

And so it's really cute because this is how the scene ends because the bodyguard's like, oh, what do Chowon's like, no, just take your time. And he's like looking out. He's like, yeah I know. He went out on da-da-da. So in a way, it's not really reconciling.
Speaker: Because reconciling is going to be more of our main couple of how though their parents came around, even though they still get on Doojin's ass, but, you know, they fully accept them.
Speaker: With Cho-wans, it's like this, there's just a lot of pride in it. So of course, they're never really going to apologize or anything, but at least Kyungsoo... um he slowly bridging it.
Speaker: He has such a pure heart. So I thought that was a really cute way. And you know what? The fact that Chowon isn't getting upset, isn't like gonna go fight a fucking bitch. He's letting it happen.
Speaker: I feel like it shows a lot of growth too because I feel like Chowon, he does want some of that family parental love, but what are you gonna do what he's gonna do is give his daughter all the fucking love that he never got so he's like you know what if this is gonna if this is gonna allow peace we'll let it be so that concludes their story which i'm like oh oh happy tears
