Eden & Briana: Fuck you dumb. What happened? Holy shit. I'm trying to watch this so reflection.
Eden & Briana: I'm like, you fucking idiot. It reminds me of when i was doing the... You were doing the dishes one day. and you were making faces behind your back. And was making faces behind your back.
Eden & Briana: All of a sudden, I can see you dumbass.
Eden & Briana: so oh What's up, bitches? Did you miss us? We missed you. It's been a hot minute. It has been a very hot minute.
Eden & Briana: um Since before you went to Hawaii. Yeah. hu Because we left.
Eden & Briana: I don't even remember. There's been so much that's happened. been a month? Has it been a month? Yes. Since we recorded? Yeah.
Eden & Briana: Because you were gone for 10 days. Yep. And then you didn't get your shit together after that. I couldn't get my shit together. My shit was so runny that it was hard to get it together. Yeah.
Eden & Briana: Quite literally because I was sick for three days last week and it was hell. I don't know what it was but um I slept probably three quarters of those three days.
Eden & Briana: Holy crap. It crowd was bad. Anyways, um welcome back to another episode of Minors of Mayhem, a true crime podcast that deep dives into little shithead miners who commit murder.
Eden & Briana: Shithead miners. That's a good roll. As you may know, I am your co-host, Brianna, and with me is my retarded mother, Ethan.
Eden & Briana: but Why? You're just weird. Yes, I am. And I own that shit. to Faces. Because you're giggly. I was trying to make you laugh.
Eden & Briana: During our intro? Yeah, it was funny. Bitch. Please.
Eden & Briana: So, questions, concerns. Yeah, I've got a whole ton of them. Like what? I don't know. I'm sure I'll... What you got for True Crime News?
Eden & Briana: Thank you for asking. Wait a minute. What are the April awarenesses? I don't have that.
Eden & Briana: So you're going to do it next week. Dumbass. I am a dumbass. Okay, good. I like doing them. ah hu Good. you Don't make a big deal out of it then. I'm good on it.
Eden & Briana: So for True Crime News... today Today's news is a little different. This is a very happy one. Oh, And I actually seen it on TikTok.
Eden & Briana: Okay. In Arizona, Buford, an Antinolian Pyrenees, protects his family's ranch by keeping the wildlife out and away from their livestock.
Eden & Briana: That's what those dogs are known for. Guardian dogs. Guardian dogs. Now... A family had reported their son missing the night before. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office conducted 16-hour search for the little boy who was two years old. Oh.
Eden & Briana: Now, before I go any further, let's not be quick to judge on this family since we don't know the entirety of the story. Right. um Of why the boy went missing. Right.
Eden & Briana: So let's not judge. Hey, them little shits can sneak out awful frickin' quick. Yeah. So anyways, Buford, the guard dog, was actually the one who found the boy sleeping underneath a tree about seven miles from his home.
Eden & Briana: Oh my gosh. Buford walked the boy up to his home to his family, so the boy got to be reunited with his family. Buford was rewarded with a big old steak dinner.
Eden & Briana: Oh, I like that story. Isn't that so heartwarming? I like that story. I sent it to you on TikTok and i was like, shit, I hope she doesn't watch it before I can... Say it on here. I didn't. and did lu Did you send it to me today?
Eden & Briana: No, a couple days ago. Oh, good. Because I haven't opened TikTok in days. oh my God. I like that. Yeah. I love it. Dogs. I'm telling you, dogs.
Eden & Briana: They're special. We don't deserve them. We don't deserve them at all. No. Oh, God. It smells like duck in here. Duck?
Eden & Briana: Like we had them in the... The little crate thingy over here? No. You just smell it. You smell duck? oh You got them out coop now?
Eden & Briana: Yeah. but be huge They're huge. We got them like this big. They're like this big now. They grew fast. Oh my god, they're huge. I can't wait to take you down there and show them.
Eden & Briana: Did you name them yet? is... The yellow one is named Daisy, I think. And then the other two haven't named yet. I get to name one and my middle child gets to name one.
Eden & Briana: The oldest named the yellow one. Daisy? Yep. Because she's yellow. It fits. so So what are we doing today? It's ugly. Okay.
Eden & Briana: um Way to come back with a frickin' punch. Yeah, it's, it's, I'm gonna give a trigger warning. Obviously, in the beginning we do a blanket trigger warning, but I just want to reiterate for this one a trigger warning for animal abuse. Nope. But I do not go into the details.
Eden & Briana: I'm checked out. Too bad. and No, I can't handle that. Too bad.
Eden & Briana: So,
Eden & Briana: I'm probably going to butcher these names, but I'm going to do my absolute best. Today, i will be covering Cayetano Santos Gardino, also known as El Petiso Orjudio.
Eden & Briana: Okay. I'm sorry. Meaning the big-eared midget. Oh, that's what that means. Okay. Cayentano was born on October 31st, 1896 to... This is an old one. Very old.
Eden & Briana: Nice. Okay. To Fiora Gardino and Lucia Ruffo. Cayentano was one of eight boys. The family were Italian, that's why I'm butchering these new names, hey but chose to move to Argentina in the hopes of bettering their lives.
Eden & Briana: Okay. However, the parents were abusive alcoholics. Not okay. Now, before Cayentano was born, Fior had actually contracted syphilis.
Eden & Briana: And this caused serious health problems for Cayetano. It's going to be a rough one. um It doesn't say if the mother drank alcohol during pregnancy or not, but kind of considering the times and who knows if they knew if alcohol was bad during pregnancy at this time.
Eden & Briana: Right. um how So anyways,
Eden & Briana: Can I just call him Kay? Sure. Why not? Cause you try saying it. Nope. Kay and Tana. Kay and Tano. Kay and Tano.
Eden & Briana: Kay and Tano. Kay and Tano showed signs of violence in his early childhood. He started off by playing with fire and enjoyed killing cats and birds.
Eden & Briana: Due to his violent behavior, He had zero interest in school education, and this caused him to jump from school to school. Okay.
Eden & Briana: When Kay was seven years old, he decided to beat two-year-old Miguel D. Paoli. After he beat Miguel, he just threw him in the ditch like he was trash.
Eden & Briana: Luckily, and official saw what happened and took the kids down to the police station where their mothers were called to come pick up their kids. I'm not sure if charges were pressed or not or what came of this situation, but I'm going to safely assume that nothing was done because of how far he gets to go in his crimes before dealt with.
Eden & Briana: he so So, um just one year later in 1905, Kay beat a child in his own neighborhood named Anna Neary.
Eden & Briana: Thankfully, a police officer jumped in into motion and stopped him. He was arrested, but due to his young age, he was released from jail. Okay.
Eden & Briana: How old would he have been at that time? Oh, shit. You're going to make me do math? too 896, 97, 98, 99. I think it didn't. Didn't I say seven?
Eden & Briana: Yeah. When he was seven years old. Okay. Yep. And then a year later. So he'd be eight. Yes. Eight. Okay. Oh, God. fuck
Eden & Briana: Thankfully, a police officer jumped into motion and stopped him. I said that already. And he was arrested, but due to his... Yep, I said that. Cool. but Sorry, guys.
Eden & Briana: I'm trying. Life has been lifing pretty hard on me lately, so I'm trying to get back into the motion of things. oh Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let me do an S here. Womp womp.
Eden & Briana: I got the evil eye. When Kay was 10 years old... His parents discovered that he was compulsive masturbating.
Eden & Briana: Okay. Fior and Lucia didn't know what to do or how to handle this situation properly, so they called the police and Kay ended up serving a two-month sentence in jail.
Eden & Briana: For masturbating? Yes. oh Like I said, they didn't know how to handle the situation properly. Okay. In 1906, Kay committed his first committed his first murder, three-year-old Maria Rosa Fasse.
Eden & Briana: Okay, so he was how old then? Nine. No, 10. 10. Okay. 10 or 11. Okay. He would have been 10 because 96 to 06, he was 10. Okay.
Eden & Briana: and
Eden & Briana: He took her to the wasteland on Rio de Janeiro Street, where he tried to strangle her. He then buried her alive in a ditch and covered her with a bunch of cans.
Eden & Briana: Unfortunately, this was a cold case, and the only reason it was solved was because he admitted to killing her years later. When police went to the wasteland to locate her remains, a two-story house had been built.
Eden & Briana: Oh. And heartbreakingly enough, her body has never been found. Oh. It gets worse. Okay. So she suffocated to death because he buried her alive.
Eden & Briana: Correct. Wow. okay On January fire. nineteen twelve kay decided to set a warehouse on fire When police arrested him, he told them, and I quote, I like to see firemen working.
Eden & Briana: It's nice to see how they fall into the fire, unquote. Oh, my. Okay. This next murder, there aren't any details on it, but on January 26, 1912, the body of 13-year-old Arturo Llorona was found dead in an abandoned house.
Eden & Briana: Just one and a half months later, on March 7th, 1912, Kay set a dress on fire on the body of five-year-old Reina Vainikoff.
Eden & Briana: Sadly, she died. she Sadly, she did not recover from the burns and died a few days later. Hmm.
Eden & Briana: So being on this fire spree, this shithead decided to set a train station on fire, but luckily it was put out and the damages were very minimal.
Eden & Briana: Now on November 8th, 1912, he tried strangling eight-year-old Roberto Russo. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Eden & Briana: However, the court dropped the ball and released him until his trial.
Eden & Briana: Okay. Now, with everything I just told you, his track record sucks. Big time. three But yeah, let's just release him until his trial and hope that he doesn't do anything stupid.
Eden & Briana: You think he behaved? Absolutely not. You are correct.
Eden & Briana: Literally eight days later. Oh my gosh. He assaulted three-year-old Carmen Gheitoni.
Eden & Briana: Police were able to intervene, but Kay ran off and Carmen walked away with minor injuries, thankfully. But I'm sure she had some trauma.
Eden & Briana: Of course she did. Two days later. Boy, he doesn't wait long, does he? On November 20th, he kidnapped two-year-old Carolina Neolenur.
Eden & Briana: Carolina was about to cry out, and a neighbor heard her and took action to save her. So, K was probably frustrated that his last two attempts failed.
Eden & Briana: So he resorted back to fire and lit two sheds up into flames, but they were put out fairly quickly. and it's He doesn't stop there though, and it gets quite grosser.
Eden & Briana: And I'm sorry if I ruin your birthday for you. What?
Eden & Briana: On December 3rd. No!
Eden & Briana: Kay promised three-year-old
Eden & Briana: Jesualdo Giordano, who was playing in his yard, promised to buy him candy if he would go with him.
Eden & Briana: Oh, geez. He kept giving the three-year-old candy on their way to a country house. Once he got the little boy into the house, he quickly knocked him to the floor and tried strangling him with his belt, but he did not... Spit it out.
Eden & Briana: But he did not succeed. Okay.
Eden & Briana: He then decided to cut his belt into pieces so he could tie the little boy's wrists and ankles. He started beating him and during this attack, he had the idea of hitting him in the head with a hammer.
Eden & Briana: Oh.
Eden & Briana: Oh.
Eden & Briana: Kay went outside looking for a nail. While looking for a nail, Kay ran into the little boy's father who had been looking for his son.
Eden & Briana: Kay told the father he had not seen the boy or where he was. here After that interaction, Kay found a nail, entered the country house where the little boy is tied up.
Eden & Briana: He began hammering the nail into the side of Gesualdo's head. Oh, God. When he was done, he quickly hid the body Unfortunately, the boy's father ended up finding his son's body.
Eden & Briana: And this is where it's awful. I'm gonna just take a drink because
Eden & Briana: this sucks.
Eden & Briana: During the boy's wake, Kay was present at this little boy's wake. Kay.
Eden & Briana: He went up to the body and touched the boy's skull where he had hammered the nail in. What the hell?
Eden & Briana: The next day on December 4th, Kay was arrested where he confessed to every single crime he did. Now medical reports declared Kay insane So the judge discontinued the case and ordered him to stay in the reformatory where he actually tried killing some of the other inmates.
Eden & Briana: He spent nearly three years in the reformatory until November 12, 1915, when an appeal was approved. What?
Eden & Briana: Which ordered him to be moved to jail on November 20th. Okay. okay In March of 1923, Gaetano was transferred to Ushuaia. Oh, I had this one too. I looked it up. and Ushuaia?
Eden & Briana: U-S-H-U-A-I-A. Yeah, okay. Ushuaia. I don't know. Penitentiary. 1933, and nineteen thirty three Kay decided to kill two inmates' pet cats.
Eden & Briana: oh Oh. Those inmates beat him so badly that he spent quite a bit of time in the hospital. Can't say that I'm sorry. No.
Eden & Briana: According to one source, from 1935 his death in 1944, he was always and he had visitors see him. he was always ill and he had no visitors um see him Which, why would anybody want to see a monster like that?
Eden & Briana: Exactly. um His death was under suspicious circumstances. However, there was quite a bit of speculation that he died from internal bleeding that was caused by a gastrous outbreak.
Eden & Briana: Gastric? Gastritis? Gastrous. Gastrous. Gastrous outbreak.
Eden & Briana: Later, when the hospital was eventually torn down and authorities were digging up inmate remains, Kay's remains had miss mysteriously disappeared.
Eden & Briana: And to this day, his remains have not been found. And with that, I say good fucking riddance. What the fuck? Door.
Eden & Briana: Mm-hmm.
Eden & Briana: Wow.
Eden & Briana: Wow. If there was ever a poster born for birth control, he should have been on it. No shit. Jesus. When I was reading this case, I seen somebody comment that and I was like, yep.
Eden & Briana: This one was... So his name means big-eared midget? so So do you have pictures of him? Yeah. Is some he...
Eden & Briana: He was also known Elpeteso or Judo, meaning the big-eared midget.
Eden & Briana: Was he a big-eared midget? Mm-hmm. So, I mean, isn't... Because of the syphilis and... And the probably fetal alcohol syndrome, maybe. Yes.
Eden & Briana: Yes.
Eden & Briana: oh my god yeah you show me picture you little fucker
Eden & Briana: oh he's creepy little yeah very uh he looks so old like he looks like a god is that his hair is he got a hat on That's a hat.
Eden & Briana: Oh. It's like, what the hell? Yeah. So that's my lovely case for the week.
Eden & Briana: That was gross. I told you. was brutal. I didn't like writing this one. But, like, anytime, like, I do research, I have to go with one that jumps out at me and, like, intrigues me. Because if I try to do one that's I don't want to say it's not interesting. it just, at that point in time, it doesn't gravitate towards me.
Eden & Briana: Same. So it doesn't like... You don't write good if you're not into it. Yeah. It's just like It's weird. It's like a freaking book. When you pick up a book, if you if it doesn't grab you, you never finish the damn thing.
Eden & Briana: Yep. Which book did I DNF?
Eden & Briana: Just recently.
Eden & Briana: Ask for Andrew. I haven't heard of that It's a psychological one. But it was like... Who wrote it? I want to say Lucinda Barry, but I don't know.
Eden & Briana: i'm I've been listening to more... and i I started off being psychological. But then doing the podcast and working with kids at my work...
Eden & Briana: It was almost too much. her So I switched
Eden & Briana: Dark Romance. Oh, we know. And it's weird. Have you finished that series yet? Which one? The Butcher and Blackbird. Oh, yeah. I love that. All four of them?
Eden & Briana: Or three of them? Yeah. Scythe and Sparrow? Mm-hmm. Yep. um But that one that I did not finish was... um
Eden & Briana: Well, Pete, I'll tell you here in a minute. I tried to see if that author of The Butcher and Blackbird had any more out, and she doesn't. No, I think she's kind of a newer author. She needs to get with it. I know.
Eden & Briana: i like I think I like the narrators.
Eden & Briana: The narrators were good in those books. Yes. I agree. I don't think it was that long. Because if I had to sit down and read a book, it'd never get done. At least I can have an ear pod in my ear and listen to a book while doing something. Yeah. Yeah.
Eden & Briana: yeah and i'm not goingnna lie i do miss the smell of a brand new book, but time for that. I h o y I h L I I I L L I L L I L L I L L I L L I I L I L I L I I L I I'm gonna go with that.
Eden & Briana: I tried. Like, I got like 50% through it and I'm like, can't. Don't, you hit that 50% mark though, don't you gotta finish? Yes, but I just, it was so boring.
Eden & Briana: Like, it was like, almost unnecessary. Oh. I don't know. And that's my own opinion.
Eden & Briana: There's other people that love the book. Oh, um yeah, I know. There's like I've read recommended books. Not read. I shouldn't say read. I've listen listened to recommended books. And I'm like, why? you know, I could wasted a credit on this. Why?
Eden & Briana: I could never get into podcasts until morbid. And then I suffered the little children. And then I always read books on my Kindle, my paperweight.
Eden & Briana: And then me and my best friend, we wanted to like share some books and whatnot. And she's like, well, i do audiobook.
Eden & Briana: And I'm like, girl, there ain't no way. like So I started reading the books series that we chose, the Ravenhood series. Mm-hmm. And she was like in chapter 30 and I'm on like chapter 15. I was like, F it. I'm going to listen to it.
Eden & Briana: I'm going to try it. Hooked ever since. It's a game changer, huh? Holy. Because having a woman and a male. It's awesome. At first it was weird because I didn't like their voices. But then like the more I got into the characters, the more I started loving. I love Rowan's voice.
Eden & Briana: When she's in the cage? Yeah. And he just comes out of nowhere? Yes. I bet I'd like your wicked ways or whatever he said. I love that book. I'm actually listening too. I'm actually listening.
Eden & Briana: Have you heard anything about the book Credence? No. Oh my god. Good. and mike Is it something I need to do? Well, do you remember in Flock?
Eden & Briana: You read Flock? Or listen to Flock in the Raven Hood series. Oh, okay. With Sean, Dom, and Cecilia. Yep. Three of them? Yep. Yeah. But this is like, um, like a step-uncle and his sons.
Eden & Briana: And there's some sort of a... Like, her parents were a movie star and a rock star, and they died. oh boy. And she hated them. And...
Eden & Briana: They send her off to her step-uncle. Yeah. I haven't got any anywhere spicy, but I know what's coming. Oh, Jesus. the boom Yeah.
Eden & Briana: But anyways. um That's all I got for you today. if you have questions, comments, concerns, constructive, nicely criticism, you can email us at mineroesofmayhem at gmail.com.

Eden & Briana: Do you know what you're doing next week? Yeah. Bad? Yeah. Fudge. but Fudge. Yeah, I've been working on this one for a hot minute because there's um it's pretty newer one, 2013.
Eden & Briana: So I've got to be careful. oh But then I've got some old short ones that are fun. um i shouldn't say fun. they're just It's just interesting. Murder goes way back.
Eden & Briana: Yeah, does. Those old ones are good, but you can't dig in to find out the childhood. and Yeah. Well, like this one. like it Most of the um articles and resources were in like Spanish, I think.
Eden & Briana: Or... Italian. So I only got to use two resources, which was Wikipedia and Murderpedia. ah so That makes it rough. Yeah.
Eden & Briana: It was hard. But... Interesting. I think I did really good. oh you did first. For having... no Not many resources? Yeah. I've got a lot of resources on this one I'm doing, and reading through it is a lot.
Eden & Briana: Yeah. Especially it's such a dark...
Eden & Briana: yes And actually, i think he went through an appeal not too long ago.
Eden & Briana: wanted a new trial or something. That got poo-pooed. But it hasn't been that long ago. So everything is still fresh. Yeah. Going through the system.
Eden & Briana: But nobody's seen it coming.
Eden & Briana: So it'll be interesting. It's sad. It's sad as shit.
Eden & Briana: And I just want to say thank you guys so much for being patient with us. um Showing us love and support and commenting and subscribing and following.

Eden & Briana: oh they're both playing at the same time Which is cool. I don't know. Okay. Bye. Bye. Sorry about that.
