There's Never A Better Time
Ron's message is that you need to take the chances and the risks now, when you have the opportunity. There will be a time to back-pedal if you need to do it later, but you'll never have a better time to take that plunge than NOW.
It doesn't matter what the "plunge" is - like planting a tree, the best time was twenty years ago, but if you didn't start back then, at least start now. You will always have worries - should I wait till I save more money, should I wait till the kids are older, should we pay off our debts first...etc. But those doubts are a self-preservation technique ingrained into us by a brain that's programmed to "keep us safe".
Something that helped Ron & his partner to start seeing the success they're having is the realization that they weren't positioning themselves as the experts at what they do. Instead, they were being reporters, letting other people take the limelight. Once they made that discovery and changed their point of view, the trajectory of their business shifted.
Now Hindsight Hacking Media is on its way to its rightful place in the podcast publishing space.
