Felicia Devine: Hello and welcome back to season 2 episode 19.

Natalie Richards: I know. Where are we? That was funny.

Felicia Devine: I don't know why I started with season two. Okay. Hi. Welcome.

Natalie Richards: Hi.

Felicia Devine: This is like... I think we've done close to 40 podcasts.

Natalie Richards: I know. Isn't that crazy?

Felicia Devine: Insane.

Natalie Richards: That's like so many hours of art. really...

Felicia Devine: That's like 40 hours of us yapping.

Natalie Richards: Invaluable. information slash opinions. opinions

Felicia Devine: Honestly, it's like 10 % valuable information. 80%. Gossip.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: And then another 10%.

Natalie Richards: 20 % vibes.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: All right. So what do we want to talk about today, Natalie?

Natalie Richards: Oh man.

Felicia Devine: What's on the agenda?

Natalie Richards: You know, I think we have some... things to discuss i think we have Some updates. I think we have some blood work. to go over.

Felicia Devine: Bye. have something crazy.

Natalie Richards: Oh my. Let's go it get into it.

Felicia Devine: I woke up yesterday with vertigo.

Natalie Richards: No you did not.

Felicia Devine: for the first time in my whole life Natalie, I woke up this...

Natalie Richards: You know what yesterday was? the full moon.

Felicia Devine: Full moon. Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: Interesting.

Felicia Devine: I woke up. Before the sun. So it was like right before six. And. I wake up, the world is spinning clockwise, counterclockwise.

Felicia Devine: Like it's not spinning circular like you would if you were drunk.

Natalie Richards: Oh no. No.

Felicia Devine: Like it was spinning like I was in Willy Wonka.

Natalie Richards: No. Oh no.

Felicia Devine: I couldn't see in the bed. I was looking for Dan. I couldn't find him. I'm actually like, the reason I brought it up was because I'm kind of getting it right now. but

Natalie Richards: Oh no.

Felicia Devine: The world is spinning. Like. A lollipop, like this way.

Natalie Richards: Yes. Yes.

Felicia Devine: And I'm looking for Dan. Can't find him. I roll over. I'm trying to look at the clock across the room. It's spinning. I literally couldn't see Natalie.

Natalie Richards: oh

Felicia Devine: I started to say, I'm like, Dan, Dan. I couldn't find him. Thankfully. I caught him. He was 90 seconds from being out of the house to go bike ride. He was just finishing putting on his clothes in the the closet and he comes running out and he's like, what's wrong?

Natalie Richards: Bye.

Felicia Devine: And I was like, I can't see. I ver like i literally was like, I have vertigo.

Natalie Richards: Oh my goodness.

Felicia Devine: I've never had vertigo in my whole life. It was crazy. And I've been. Like this morning.

Natalie Richards: Off.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, this morning I stood up to get out of bed and I fell over.

Natalie Richards: The what?

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm.

Natalie Richards: Have you taken your blood pressure?

Felicia Devine: No, but I'm doing homeopathy. i'm doing Dan does me with three different things. I adjusted myself with an activator.

Natalie Richards: Perfect. As I would do.

Felicia Devine: I've been doing red light because it's it's it's right rotation.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: So I'm doing red light on my – like the right side of my neck.

Natalie Richards: oh Oh my goodness.

Felicia Devine: And Dan let – Well, let me. Dan was home, so I could sleep in two days in a row.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: So I'm like resting.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: But yeah, I've never had vertigo.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: What the heck?

Natalie Richards: How interesting.

Felicia Devine: Have you ever had vertigo?

Natalie Richards: I have never, I've never had it. I've treated a lot of people with it, but

Felicia Devine: Natalie, it's spooky.

Natalie Richards: Crazy.

Felicia Devine: Spooky like I put step down for bed last night and I went to stand up and I went do do do do like like, fell over.

Natalie Richards: Oh no.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, so I need to get adjusted.

Natalie Richards: Okay, so we have some things.

Felicia Devine: Monday.

Natalie Richards: Yes. Yeah, you do.

Felicia Devine: Because I think it's all like neck rotation.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: It's not ears.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: it's head rotation and stuff so it's it's all that cervicogenic but

Natalie Richards: I would. argue most. vertigo is

Felicia Devine: cervical jet.

Natalie Richards: cervicogenic yeah

Felicia Devine: I know. That's what I think too.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Because if you can function, like if you can like. operate about the world. And be okay. It's evocogenic. If it's your crystals, ain't no way you going about your day.

Natalie Richards: yes

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Get up. Like you're not doing anything. You're not.

Felicia Devine: You can't function.

Natalie Richards: No, like you're literally falling over on the floor when you move

Felicia Devine: If it's your crystals... Yeah. Mm hmm. Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah. So if you like can figure out how to hold yourself.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And it goes away.

Felicia Devine: And it goes away.

Natalie Richards: Ear.

Felicia Devine: And then sometimes it's triggered. It's cervicogenic.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, usually an adjustment can help.

Felicia Devine: There's your information for the day. That's all we need to teach people.

Natalie Richards: That's it. Now we can go about.

Felicia Devine: Everything else can be gossip.

Natalie Richards: The regular shenanigans.

Felicia Devine: But yeah, vertigo. I was so spooked.

Natalie Richards: Oh my gosh.

Felicia Devine: Now, one thing that I did was on. Friday I got my hair done.

Natalie Richards: okay

Felicia Devine: So I laid in the bowl.

Natalie Richards: Oh. Well, there you go.

Felicia Devine: I know. But then I'm very, very, very sensitive to smells. The product at like a traditional hair salon, the smell of it, I don't know if that also just set me off.

Natalie Richards: hu

Natalie Richards: Well, that kid literally subluxate you.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Like that will literally make your Atlas go.

Felicia Devine: So I'm like, yeah. Yeah, the the double whammy of the smell and the the bowl, I think, just gives me.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: like reason to believe that's what it was.

Natalie Richards: I think you're right.

Felicia Devine: Because I've never had it. And honestly, it's so spooky.

Natalie Richards: That's crazy. Mm hmm. that is crazy the thing with vertigo vertigo i think it can be triggered by literally anything like it could be the teeniest little thing in it.

Felicia Devine: So I'm getting adjusted tomorrow morning.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. I just feel so vulnerable though.

Natalie Richards: Throws you off. I know because you don't know when it's going to happen.

Felicia Devine: Like, I feel like I, like... One, I'm like... I don't know if I should like pick sap up, like even like tilting my head right there.

Natalie Richards: here

Felicia Devine: I almost got this like, like the world kind of like.

Natalie Richards: o Eww.

Felicia Devine: It's very unsettling

Natalie Richards: Oh oh oh oh oh.

Felicia Devine: I don't like it

Natalie Richards: I don't like that for you at all.

Felicia Devine: So I'm gonna get adjusted in the morning and see how I feel but I'm hoping it goes away

Natalie Richards: Yeah, no, it will It totally will.

Felicia Devine: It'll be fine. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: it's going to go away.

Felicia Devine: my My girl Taylor, she rocks my upper cervicals.

Natalie Richards: She'll get you

Felicia Devine: So.

Natalie Richards: She'll get you.

Felicia Devine: She'll get me. Anyway.

Natalie Richards: That's for sure.

Felicia Devine: Give me an update about you because I have vertigo. What do you have? What's your ailment of the week, Natalie?

Natalie Richards: Besides, I feel like my brain is like fried and and just like I just feel

Felicia Devine: and Why is it fried? I thought you were kind i thought you were on the up.

Natalie Richards: I was.

Felicia Devine: Now but we can't be on the down together.

Natalie Richards: We can't both be on the down.

Felicia Devine: You got to be on the up.

Natalie Richards: I'm on the down. I'm on the down.

Felicia Devine: Oh, no.

Natalie Richards: I know. I know.

Felicia Devine: Okay, okay.

Natalie Richards: This whole...

Felicia Devine: Ahem.

Natalie Richards: I don't even know, a month and a half? Probably. I've literally been. Dead. Like dead, dead.

Felicia Devine: Well, you are.

Natalie Richards: I'm i'm treating my adrenal.

Felicia Devine: You're resurrecting your adrenal.

Natalie Richards: I'm resurrecting them.

Felicia Devine: Here. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I know that's why. but like

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: When have I ever taken a nap? Have you ever seen me take a nap?

Felicia Devine: Are you napping?

Natalie Richards: i'm Not this week, but like for two weeks.

Felicia Devine: Are you so asleep right now?

Natalie Richards: I was...

Felicia Devine: For two weeks.

Natalie Richards: Literally, I'd hit. I'd hit a point in the day and I'd be like, I. I literally cannot keep my eyes open.

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: Like I cannot actually function.

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: Like I have to lay down.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: It was like, like dead I feel like it.

Felicia Devine: You dead girl. You dead. hello

Natalie Richards: I feel like it.

Felicia Devine: Oh no.

Natalie Richards: And then. I've been getting I've felt like more stressed. I never like feel stressed. in moments where I should feel stressed.

Natalie Richards: I don't feel

Felicia Devine: No, you're very good at a cute.

Natalie Richards: stressed you know

Felicia Devine: situations. situations

Natalie Richards: Yeah. like Like, I don't get it.

Felicia Devine: You're very good. Honestly, you know what? You're you're probably.

Natalie Richards: the bodily stress.

Felicia Devine: Coming down from your dad's situation, you probably need to do some.

Natalie Richards: That's really what it is.

Natalie Richards: and then

Felicia Devine: trauma therapy. What do you call it?

Natalie Richards: Probably. Probably.

Felicia Devine: Emotion code.

Natalie Richards: emotion I do.

Felicia Devine: Hmm.

Natalie Richards: I do need to do that. I know I need to do that on myself.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I'm coming down from that, but it's also not ending. with my dad. So like, it's a daily

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: conversation. Because it's like...

Natalie Richards: There's so many things. There's so many things I have to update.

Felicia Devine: and Now, this whole two weeks between.

Natalie Richards: This is a lot.

Felicia Devine: not Not good.

Natalie Richards: There's a lot that's happened because I think literally major things happened like right after we talked.

Felicia Devine: oh

Natalie Richards: So... My mom was up at the lake. She comes back and she goes, yeah, there's like massive amounts of mold in the utility room.

Felicia Devine: No.

Natalie Richards: Like.

Felicia Devine: Natalie.

Natalie Richards: Like. massive. Meanwhile, My dad has been getting worse, like his, his lung situation.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: has been getting worse. over really since he's been in the hospital. So like He... He's always had COPD. But he's getting like.

Felicia Devine: Was he a smoker?

Natalie Richards: No, his parents were in in their house when he was young.

Felicia Devine: That's where he got it. Okay.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: All right.

Natalie Richards: so he's And he's always had allergies. He's always had like not good. He's had asthma. He's had like lots of lung issues. his whole life.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: So they've been getting progressively worse. Like they went to Napa back in April. And he was in this like champagne cave and he literally like got claustrophobic. which he's never.

Natalie Richards: She just never had that before. So then he's been getting claustrophobic even in like, he can't even sleep in a bedroom because it's too. enclosed So like he gets like an asthma attack basically, or a pan I don't know. I don't know what it is. So he can't sleep. He's like.

Natalie Richards: has all these symptoms. So this is like, so

Felicia Devine: Where's he sleeping?

Natalie Richards: related slash unrelated to the AFib stuff, like the heart stuff. But it got definitely worse. Like he had an infection, I'm pretty sure, from the hospital. So I was treating him for that and it got better.

Natalie Richards: Like the mucus part got better, but now he still has like. major

Felicia Devine: Implementation.

Natalie Richards: Claustrophobia. Like. can't breathe like Can't be around heat. Can't be around like. anything weird like if he's outside he's fine like during the day but then he comes back home at night and he like has he can't sleep because he gets panicked and he like can't breathe So.

Natalie Richards: This has been like a daily conversation between myself, my mom, my dad. muscle testing him anyway i was like you need to go because i i came up with muscle tests for him that he had major lung infection, kind of just more like lung inflammation.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And I was pretty sure that he had Lyme. so So he definitely was testing for like a bacteria, but the remedies that were testing for him were all Lyme lyme remedies.

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm.

Felicia Devine: a

Natalie Richards: So I was like, you have something, you have some tick -borne. illness for sure.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: which he's always said, I don't have Lyme. How am I outside all the time? I go, you just don't know it yet. dad So he's had it for a long time.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: But this mold at the lake, I think, has been making him worse. So every time he'd go up there, he'd get worse. Shocking. right and he goes up like almost every weekend throughout the summer

Felicia Devine: Wow.

Natalie Richards: So he has been getting basically re -inoculated with mold.

Felicia Devine: Every weekend.

Natalie Richards: And I'm pretty confident it's also where he's been sleeping at my parents' house because he can't sleep in a bedroom. So he's been sleeping downstairs next to. where my old bedroom bathroom was

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And I know there's been a water leak there because I can see the rust in like the. the vent, the ceiling vent.

Natalie Richards: So... I'm pretty sure he's just, and that's where his symptoms get worse. So like he. Comes home. goes to the basement, watches TV, and then that's where he's also sleeping. But that's where his symptoms are. the worst.

Felicia Devine: Oh no, Natalie.

Natalie Richards: But he can't physically be in a bedroom because he feels.

Felicia Devine: claustrophobic

Natalie Richards: claustrophobic. So it's just like a really odd, really odd situation. So they're very worried, obviously. And he's tried. inhalers and inhalers kind of help.

Natalie Richards: but not really. So there's... Not that much you do at that point. Right. So he's kind of just like. miserable all the time. Can't sleep.

Natalie Richards: can't do any of this stuff. So I'm like, daily having conversations about what he needs to do. But he's also like, I don't want to do all this stuff because I don't know if it's making it worse. I'm like. well i don't know what to tell you

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I don't know what to tell you. So he's also. has like... Okay, I'll back up. He went to the Lyme doctor, okay?

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm

Natalie Richards: The one that I've gone to. my mom, all that.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: He has insane levels of mold, like a little bit higher than what I had. So I had like an eight and a half. His is like a nine. So, so out of 10 out of 10 for like body burden.

Felicia Devine: Oh my gosh.

Natalie Richards: So he has like incredible mold toxicity with Lyme. And with a couple other, a couple other like... co -infections so he has babesia which is like a parasitic kind of like brain amoeba sort of it's like a really and it's from a tick so The other part to this is like he's really not there fully. like the in the way that he has been, like he's.

Natalie Richards: angry. His personality is different. like There's so many things that is just like different about him. So it's been really just like stressful.

Felicia Devine: Oh, no.

Natalie Richards: It's just stressful and sad.

Felicia Devine: And sad.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. So trying to like keep him on the track. My mom is also so Type A that she just like. thinks way too much about this stuff in terms of like what he's taking and what to order and all this stuff and I'm just like just

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: Mhm.

Natalie Richards: Just calm down. It's okay. So I'm talking both of them off a ledge pretty much daily.

Felicia Devine: Oh my gosh.

Natalie Richards: So that's been tough. It's been really tough.

Felicia Devine: I'm sorry.

Natalie Richards: just like a lot of stress So I've felt more stress.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So I've had heart palpitations. and like diaphragm cramps and like all this stuff and then my period is all off and like just weird weird weird

Felicia Devine: Oh my gosh.

Felicia Devine: Because you're so overwhelmed.

Natalie Richards: Like, cause I'm actually feeling stressed now. So. That's that. which I'm thinking will get better.

Felicia Devine: Natalie.

Natalie Richards: But. It's tough.

Felicia Devine: Wow.

Natalie Richards: Just is what it is.

Felicia Devine: I'm sorry.

Natalie Richards: So it's it's kind of like. I don't know what. would happen to him like if if he ends up in like a crazy asthmatic. situation like I don't know I don't know.

Felicia Devine: We've got to stop it.

Natalie Richards: But, right. because inhalers kind of work. But. Not really.

Felicia Devine: They should take like a two -week trip out to Arizona.

Natalie Richards: I know.

Felicia Devine: Where it's like super dry and there is no mold.

Natalie Richards: They need to go somewhere. I know. I know.

Felicia Devine: That's crazy.

Natalie Richards: Mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: My mom was having so much lung issue and like... crazy fatigue, like couldn't even walk from the bedroom to the living room, like all this stuff.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: went to Mayo Clinic and got diagnosed with this like crazy rare autoimmune disease that usually takes years to diagnose.

Natalie Richards: Great.

Felicia Devine: And then like she is like on the up and up.

Natalie Richards: Right.

Natalie Richards: Thank goodness.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I know he's going to be, I know he's going to be, and he just has to like trust the process, but he's like.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. But like. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: pushing back against everything, but like he also doesn't want to go the medical route because he doesn't like that.

Felicia Devine: Well, he felt trapped there.

Natalie Richards: River. Can you stop? Yeah, he did.

Felicia Devine: Maybe he's having like PTSD.

Natalie Richards: I possibly so and I've done so many I've done so many emotion codes on him but I have to keep doing them

Felicia Devine: Of like claustrophobia and confinement.

Felicia Devine: Okay. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I haven't done it in and a few weeks.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So.

Felicia Devine: oh the poor guy i'm sorry

Natalie Richards: i just have to like keep I just have to keep going. but I'm like also healing myself.

Felicia Devine: So yeah.

Natalie Richards: And it's like. tough it's really hard because like, I should be able to help him.

Felicia Devine: That's really hard

Natalie Richards: And I just like, it's a weird place.

Felicia Devine: I know, but that's a lot of pressure on yourself.

Natalie Richards: It's a weird place. It's tough.

Felicia Devine: I'm sorry.

Natalie Richards: Hi, baby

Felicia Devine: yeah

Natalie Richards: Sweet baby river. Let's see if she can... Are you gonna say hi? There she is.

Felicia Devine: Bye, River!

Natalie Richards: next Cheers, River.

Felicia Devine: I see your ear.

Natalie Richards: In ear. She feels it.

Felicia Devine: Wow.

Natalie Richards: River's very emotionally emotionally tuned in.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Is she?

Natalie Richards: Aren't you baby girl? Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Aww.

Natalie Richards: I know. I love you sometimes. Sometimes I love you. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: How is your mold puppy?

Natalie Richards: I do. Uh...

Felicia Devine: How's Walmart?

Natalie Richards: she's fine i know i go okay kyle can you get her like on board here can we can we get going please

Felicia Devine: Ready? Yeah. And then she can be your dad's emotional support dog.

Natalie Richards: But. Yeah. Yeah. She's like a really obedience wise. She's.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So smart.

Felicia Devine: Oh good.

Natalie Richards: Smart as a tack. She just like, he says he doesn't, she doesn't have like the hunting drive quite yet to like actually want to learn.

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm. work She's not.

Natalie Richards: this different sense she's not like

Felicia Devine: she's not ready to work

Natalie Richards: She's not, and she's not.

Felicia Devine: hu

Natalie Richards: She's like, no, no, I'm a, I'm a house puppy. Thank you.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, she's like I'm really smart, but I don't want to use my smarts

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Right. So he goes, yeah, she could she could pass like the canine certifications right now because she's like so.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: obedient but

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: she She would be like, okay, I already did one.

Natalie Richards: Uh -huh.

Felicia Devine: I'm done.

Natalie Richards: Pretty much. So she's, she's got to learn to to work.

Felicia Devine: I love it

Natalie Richards: but that's going to come later.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: so

Felicia Devine: Yeah, she's just a juvenile, you know?

Natalie Richards: she is she's so little still she's so such a baby

Felicia Devine: She's not there yet. Yeah. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So she's been pretty good though.

Felicia Devine: That's good. That's good.

Natalie Richards: So, okay. That's pretty much my main update.

Felicia Devine: yes That's depressing. Come up with a better one.

Natalie Richards: It's so depressing. I can't think of a good one

Felicia Devine: Oh Natalie!

Natalie Richards: at this particular moment.

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: I know.

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: Gene's loving school. That's good.

Felicia Devine: Oh, good.

Natalie Richards: oh he

Felicia Devine: Okay. Is that good for you? Cause you, you.

Natalie Richards: i feel like it's been I feel like it's been good.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. It's getting me on like a daily routine, which is good for. me for my adrenal or I'm like okay I'm gonna wake up at seven every day and just like

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Get on that train. And then try to like. get to bed at a consistent time.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: because I'm

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I would go to bed at... 10, but like Jean hasn't been doing that for a long time.

Felicia Devine: Well, is he is he going to bed earlier now?

Natalie Richards: So now he's, now he's getting to bed earlier because he has to wake up earlier.

Felicia Devine: Good. Good. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So it's all, it's all good on many fronts.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Good.

Natalie Richards: And I never would want to really send him anywhere longer than what this is, I don't think.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, like the half day.

Natalie Richards: i don't Yeah. I don't think I ever would want to, it's like three hours.

Felicia Devine: Well, what is it, three hours?

Natalie Richards: Yeah. three on Wednesday.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Excuse me, Wednesday it's four hours, I think.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: So.

Felicia Devine: And are you able, is that when you're napping? Are you able to nap then or no?

Natalie Richards: No, because I'm only tired at like 3pm.

Felicia Devine: Mm. Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: So.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I'll be home and I'm like, okay. But right now I feel like I haven't had to nap as much because I think the things I'm taking have helped.

Felicia Devine: Oh, your cortisol.

Natalie Richards: with that, but I'm just like feeling the stress.

Felicia Devine: Okay. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Mhm.

Natalie Richards: i've i just never feel bodily symptoms of stress and i'm actually feeling it now so

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I think maybe that's a good thing. Maybe.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: If I'm like actually.

Felicia Devine: Sure not. I'm going to validate you in that.

Natalie Richards: feeling it now? Does that mean I'm healing?

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I don't know.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, I mean, it's like it's like people who have to like admit that they're an addict before they can start to heal.

Natalie Richards: Does that mean that?

Felicia Devine: So maybe this is your admission. that You're feeling the tiredness.

Natalie Richards: That I'm...

Felicia Devine: You're admitting that you're tired.

Natalie Richards: the I'm admitting that that i I feel stressed.

Felicia Devine: Because it's also pretty vulnerable of you to share that because usually you're like. We're good.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, all good.

Felicia Devine: Like you're like locked up. You're like, I'm good.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: So maybe this is healing.

Natalie Richards: Maybe.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Let's call it that.

Felicia Devine: We'll call it healing.

Natalie Richards: We'll call it that.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Oh I'm sorry.

Felicia Devine: Okay, well.

Natalie Richards: It's just far it's just like Bailey, you know That's all.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. At least you you are, like... You're a realist? I'm...

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: I'm living in a false reality right now.

Natalie Richards: of what

Felicia Devine: i have been prancing around. Being like, I'm healing. I'm better. Girl.

Natalie Richards: oh No.

Felicia Devine: The blood work don't lie.

Natalie Richards: a well it's it's I would hate to have seen it.

Felicia Devine: I mean...

Natalie Richards: like a few months ago.

Felicia Devine: Okay. There are areas of my life where I'm like so impressed with myself. And then there's areas of my life where I'm like. Who do you think you are? So the blood work I did was called function health for those. I've already told Natalie this, but it's called function health. And it's essentially for people who want to get like a really, really inclusive blood work workup.

Felicia Devine: That is affordable

Natalie Richards: Yes, and you don't have to go through your doctor.

Felicia Devine: And you can...

Natalie Richards: You don't have to have...

Felicia Devine: Yeah, you don't have to go through your doctor. You don't have to have insurance.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: If you have insurance, who cares? It's still way cheaper than if you had insurance.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: But it's...

Natalie Richards: way.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. You pay one time for the year and you get two rounds of all this blood work and it's like well over 160 lab values each time.

Natalie Richards: you

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: So it's like, I think the full price is 365. So it's like a dollar a day.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: But you get this lab work twice. I would have paid $365 for this once.

Natalie Richards: that's That's great. For once, yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Now, in the... like process of booking your lab appointment, you can sign up for additional labs. So you can sign up for.

Felicia Devine: cancer screenings. You can sign up for advanced heart screenings. Like you can sign up for like even more than like what the standard is.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: I hope you can't hear Josephine banging my door down.

Natalie Richards: I can't

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: Thank you.

Felicia Devine: Now the false reality I'm living in is I have felt. better. Right. Like.

Natalie Richards: which is great.

Felicia Devine: I feel like day to day I'm doing better if I'm doing normal activities.

Natalie Richards: good Mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: Now, when I don't feel better.

Natalie Richards: normal activities.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. When I don't feel better is if I exert myself in any direction.

Natalie Richards: Thank you.

Natalie Richards: Oh no.

Felicia Devine: So like if I work a full clinical day.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: Kaput.

Natalie Richards: Ugh.

Felicia Devine: If I go on a run the next day. Kaput.

Natalie Richards: So the next day you feel bad. It's not like the day of.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. No.

Natalie Richards: which is so hard.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Because it's not like the instant.

Felicia Devine: Cause I'm like doing the activity and I'm like, Oh girl, you fit.

Natalie Richards: Ooh! Good.

Felicia Devine: Oh, we running.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, that's how I am too. When I work out, I'm like, I feel amazing.

Felicia Devine: but We lifting the weight. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I can do it.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And then next day I wake up with a sore throat. And I'm like, okay.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Okay, so mine mine's not that bad yet.

Natalie Richards: Cool.

Felicia Devine: but

Natalie Richards: oh

Felicia Devine: So like. Another example. I still go to pelvic floor PT.

Natalie Richards: Yes

Felicia Devine: Or I. receive pelvic floor PT.

Felicia Devine: Before... I had my miscarriage. I would be like, ooh, that beat me up. for like a day. half a day, maybe the rest of that day, wake up the next day, a little sore, whatever.

Natalie Richards: Sure.

Felicia Devine: This past time, I got pelvic floor PT, Natalie. 10 days.

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: 10 days my hips felt like they were gonna fall off like they felt So unstable.

Natalie Richards: Whoa. whoa

Felicia Devine: I had no recovery.

Natalie Richards: Oh no.

Felicia Devine: Post session like literally I'd be walking and it felt like my hips were gonna give out with like sharp pains

Natalie Richards: oh Maybe we need to do the emotion code on you again.

Felicia Devine: And I'm like. Yeah, probably Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Probably. Because that's like very emotional trauma.

Felicia Devine: And so I'm like, this is. I. i can't well I can't recover. And I'm like, okay, what is going on here?

Natalie Richards: Oof.

Felicia Devine: So I get this lab work done. I've waited a very long time to get the lab work because I had 13 vials of blood drawn.

Natalie Richards: Re - Right.

Felicia Devine: And I didn't have 13 to give, okay?

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: So i I waited very patiently, really working on just like rebuilding blood volume.

Natalie Richards: oh

Felicia Devine: So that I could. get this blood work done.

Natalie Richards: For sure.

Felicia Devine: So technically it's been six months. So I'm like feeling confident.

Natalie Richards: oh

Felicia Devine: I go to the appointment. It's at Quest. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Natalie Richards: Amazing.

Felicia Devine: The lady was so efficient. She was so kind. She was so gentle. She, it was like. Literally perfect. I usually get like kind of, I don't get queasy, but I get like.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: a little panicky

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: If I look at my blood being drawn.

Natalie Richards: Really?

Felicia Devine: But this time I was like able to look, she was doing it.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Like it was so seamless.

Natalie Richards: Perfect.

Felicia Devine: I didn't feel lightheaded. I didn't feel ill.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: It was fabulous.

Natalie Richards: See, that's a win in and of itself.

Felicia Devine: yeah Yeah. That was a win. So I like. Had Danny drive me because I just didn't know how would I would feel. like You have to go fasted, obviously, and the earliest appointment was 10 -10.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: And so I'm like, I don't want to like, I don't want to get there and then literally be like fainted on the floor and then have to drive home.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Seriously. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Everything was great.

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: Awesome. so We get the blood work back. Now, the story, it's it's painting.

Natalie Richards: I'm going to pull it up while you...

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: While you're talking.

Felicia Devine: I'll explain the story that I've been painted. So.

Natalie Richards: let's sure.

Felicia Devine: My blood volume... Has come back. Almost to normal. Okay. I'm still like a little lot like, yeah.

Natalie Richards: Should be.

Felicia Devine: However my blood has created what we would consider budget blood cells.

Natalie Richards: Yep.

Felicia Devine: So my blood is making blood cells at a rapid.

Natalie Richards: no

Felicia Devine: Cheap rate. of Okay. Meaning they're all shapes and sizes, okay?

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Now... Ideally, your blood cells are all of similar size. So that there's less turbulence in your system. There's more. even distribution of iron and oxygen capacity. Like you want your blood cells to all be of the same family.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: Okay. My blood's out here whipping out. A cup, B cup, G cup cells, okay?

Natalie Richards: just

Felicia Devine: I got a cell for every size. which is not good. Okay, so.

Natalie Richards: This is a great way to explain it. I love it.

Felicia Devine: My blood said, oh you want more blood? Here's more blood.

Natalie Richards: Uh huh.

Felicia Devine: However, That's not good.

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: Okay. So now my blood is like. of normal volume -ish. But my cells are all different sizes.

Natalie Richards: Mhm.

Felicia Devine: Okay. That's not good. Now.

Natalie Richards: rates.

Felicia Devine: beyond that capacity. Okay. So my blood's just like, I have like dollar store blood right now. Okay.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: The other thing I'm confused about is, is it dollar store blood because I was given whole blood plas or whole blood transfusion?

Natalie Richards: That's... That's the question.

Felicia Devine: So are we like photocopying somebody else's blood cells at the same time I'm photocopying my blood cells?

Natalie Richards: Right. That we're like. Improper maybe. Maybe.

Felicia Devine: I have imposter syndrome in my own blood.

Natalie Richards: Maybe. That's the weird part about... blood transfusions.

Felicia Devine: I mean, I would have died, but still.

Natalie Richards: that we you would have but like you don't know like you don't know what that's actually gonna do

Felicia Devine: whose blood it was.

Natalie Richards: later on. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Like did they give me Walmart blood or did they give me like Nordstrom?

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Do you now have.

Felicia Devine: Blood.

Natalie Richards: Right. very interesting to think about.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: Very, very interesting.

Felicia Devine: So I budget, budget blood cells.

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: Then you you look at my iron serum. So iron serum is like the iron that's floating around in your blood at that time.

Natalie Richards: Uh -huh.

Felicia Devine: Iron serum looks gorgeous all within range, okay?

Natalie Richards: Right.

Felicia Devine: My hemoglobin. Gorgeous, right?

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: That's all like day -to -day life.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: That's normal life.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: You look at the... Reserves? Okay, so my three -month ferritin reserves? Girl. I'm as good as dead, all right? the My ferritin, one month one month. post -hemorrhage was a seven.

Felicia Devine: Okay. Today, it's an eight.

Natalie Richards: incredible hey that's an improvement though

Felicia Devine: I grew one point. However, normal. Normal ferritin. is...

Natalie Richards: Should be like.

Felicia Devine: 45 seconds.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: to a 150.

Natalie Richards: I have heard doctors, I've heard doctors tell people that, oh, it's a 14.

Felicia Devine: That explains it.

Natalie Richards: That's pretty good. And I'm like, excuse me.

Felicia Devine: I would love to have a 14 right now, Natalie.

Natalie Richards: Excuse me. i know well exactly i know for you but it's like oh yay 14. amazing

Felicia Devine: I'm like, why could they have just donated me ferritin?

Natalie Richards: I know.

Felicia Devine: Which takes me to my next point. The only way to accurately. assume I'll grow my ferritin reserves.

Felicia Devine: Is for another iron transfusion.

Natalie Richards: don't think that is correct at all.

Felicia Devine: Because you can't. consume enough oral iron without it being like lethal doses to grow your stores and the way I need to.

Natalie Richards: oh

Natalie Richards: Sure.

Felicia Devine: It would take me five years.

Natalie Richards: So then you have to put yourself through another.

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: allergic reaction.

Felicia Devine: Yes, yes.

Natalie Richards: essentially. which would probably be worse this time.

Felicia Devine: So. So I'm a little. keyboard warrior. Okay.

Natalie Richards: Ugh.

Felicia Devine: a little bit I hop on the interweb portal for my.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, yeah, yeah

Felicia Devine: OBGYN. Okay. And I say. Dr. Roger? Give me, I say, give me top shelf iron. I'll pay whatever it costs.

Natalie Richards: There you go.

Felicia Devine: So he ordered me top shelf iron. So we're going to go back.

Natalie Richards: okay So that's going to be the one without the crazy weird.

Felicia Devine: All the crazy preservatives.

Natalie Richards: stuff. Okay.

Felicia Devine: Now, the thing about this iron, so Normal iron is Dextran.

Natalie Richards: Oof.

Felicia Devine: I shouldn't say normal The most ordered.

Natalie Richards: Yes. the most common.

Felicia Devine: is Dextran because it's...

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: A, the cheapest and B, the most readily covered by insurance.

Natalie Richards: Sure.

Felicia Devine: but it's a one and done. You get, you get.

Natalie Richards: Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: The Big Gulp. of iron, right?

Natalie Richards: Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: Like it is. a smathering of just... poison into your system and then you absorb it and like, quote unquote, should be good for a couple of years.

Natalie Richards: okay Hope for the best.

Felicia Devine: Now, the whole couple of years saying is for people who are like truly anemic, not because they're blood loss anemic.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, for some other, yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, like I hemorrhaged, so therefore I'm like.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm Great. Right.

Felicia Devine: I'm in a different category. Like I shouldn't have to go back. But the brand I'm getting is Venifer. And Venifer, you get in smaller doses over the course of...

Felicia Devine: up to five treatments.

Natalie Richards: I feel like I like that

Felicia Devine: I'm like, why didn't we start there?

Natalie Richards: Better. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Hello?

Natalie Richards: That's This is the whole... thing.

Felicia Devine: I know. They should have given me the option.

Natalie Richards: I can't get into it.

Felicia Devine: Do you want top shelf or do you want plastic bottle vodka?

Natalie Richards: yeah Yeah. Please. I would like top shelf, high end, bougie.

Felicia Devine: Top 12.

Natalie Richards: Please. The bougie iron, please.

Felicia Devine: Give me Give me me... I can't even name Topshop. Well, i I don't. Give me Don Julio.

Felicia Devine: What's another top? What's the one with the bell? pu

Natalie Richards: Classy as well!

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Give it to me. All right. But no, I'm getting plastic bottle Hawkeye vodka, okay? So. So anyway

Natalie Richards: Oh my god, okay.

Felicia Devine: My blood story is depressing at the same time as it is insightful because I've been living under this false reality that like I'm getting better.

Natalie Richards: Yes. Yes.

Felicia Devine: I'm not. I'm not getting better, in Natalie.

Natalie Richards: You've got up one point.

Felicia Devine: I'm just getting more. i'm I'm coping.

Natalie Richards: you

Felicia Devine: I'm just getting better at coping.

Natalie Richards: But okay. your actual iron levels though like are better like they are better

Felicia Devine: Yeah. My free iron, the iron in my serum. So good.

Natalie Richards: So like you are feeling better because of that. Now, long -term.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. But the second I exert myself...

Natalie Richards: It's right

Felicia Devine: Dead.

Natalie Richards: Right. Bye -bye.

Felicia Devine: Right. And if I'm training for the high rocks. So, okay. That takes me to another point.

Natalie Richards: Oh. Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Are you allowed to Ferriton dope? Because now I'm a ferritin doper.

Natalie Richards: It's a great question. I don't know if they have rules.

Felicia Devine: Are they going to test my ferritin?

Natalie Richards: I don't think they have. I don't know.

Felicia Devine: I'm doping and blood doping.

Natalie Richards: You literally are.

Felicia Devine: and blood doping so i don't think i'll be in the the category i mean i'm in the charity group let's say

Natalie Richards: Oops.

Natalie Richards: Right.

Felicia Devine: They're not testing me for anything.

Natalie Richards: You're not pro. They're not testing anybody for anything if you're not in the pro version.

Felicia Devine: They're like, did you donate your money? We don't care what your blood says, okay?

Natalie Richards: You can dope all you want.

Felicia Devine: You can dope all you want.

Natalie Richards: Oh...

Felicia Devine: Positives though on my blood work.

Natalie Richards: Oh goodness.

Felicia Devine: Cortisol gorgeous.

Natalie Richards: Yes, amazing.

Felicia Devine: I can't believe it However.

Natalie Richards: Well, and that is still blood cortisol, so.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: there's There's a lot more to the cortisol story, potentially.

Felicia Devine: Right. But my DHEA sulfate. Also.

Natalie Richards: Amazing.

Felicia Devine: gorgeous. Okay. So that's like my adrenals.

Natalie Richards: Amazing.

Felicia Devine: My vitamin D?

Natalie Richards: not so Not so optimal.

Felicia Devine: In the tank. Solar!

Natalie Richards: However, That still, I think, is within range for like what medically they would say is fine.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, but not optimal.

Natalie Richards: but not optimal. So I'm just giving like, so if you went to your doctor and they did a vitamin D level, be like, yeah, I mean, you're like on the low end, but you're fine.

Felicia Devine: well below optimal.

Felicia Devine: Right. Mm hmm. You're like lower end. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: It's like, no, you're not.

Felicia Devine: No. No.

Natalie Richards: No, you're not.

Felicia Devine: Which paints the story of why.

Natalie Richards: I like 60 to 80.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, which paints the story of why I'm so susceptible to viruses.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: So this is my comeback year.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: I'm not going to get a winter virus, Natalie.

Natalie Richards: No, no, no, no no no no

Felicia Devine: No, no, no.

Natalie Richards: No, no

Felicia Devine: I'm going to, I'm going to come back stronger than ever.

Natalie Richards: Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: I'm going to get my vitamin D so up.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm You also have somebody else's blood in you now.

Felicia Devine: That I'm just...

Natalie Richards: So you might be like...

Felicia Devine: I'm whacking it away.

Natalie Richards: oddly stronger in a way.

Felicia Devine: I'm not. I'm going to go ahead and say I'm not. I've already had multiple outbreaks. Since then... So we're not there yet? But... I can supplement vitamin D, you know?

Natalie Richards: Yes you can. Yes you can.

Felicia Devine: And I already have. yeah Natalie got me on a vitamin D supplement earlier this week.

Natalie Richards: It's a good one. It's a good one. It brought Kyle's levels up.

Felicia Devine: And it's...

Natalie Richards: like So well. he was in the tank

Felicia Devine: And it's literally smaller than a jelly bean, so I can take it.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah. He was in the tank for so many years and his doctor at the VA just kept saying, you know, your vitamin D is low.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Okay. Take this 800 IU. Like what a D2.

Felicia Devine: Oh, this is 5 ,000 IU.

Natalie Richards: I think it was like a D, to he literally gave him D2, 800 IUs. And I was like. Are you joking right now?

Felicia Devine: this The budget vitamin D.

Natalie Richards: Are you kidding me? So...

Felicia Devine: Oh my gosh.

Natalie Richards: We switched him to the ADK eval.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And it's A. D. K and E altogether.

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: So it's all of your, all of your fat soluble vitamins.

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm. fat soluble.

Natalie Richards: and he's like in the 60s. He was solo. I think he had he was like 10. It was bad for him.

Felicia Devine: Oof, yeah.

Natalie Richards: It was bad.

Felicia Devine: And I only think mine is 20 right now because. I've been in the sun all summer.

Natalie Richards: Right.

Felicia Devine: And I don't wear sunscreen.

Natalie Richards: Right.

Felicia Devine: But if I would have tested that in the winter without supplementation.

Natalie Richards: It would have been so bad.

Felicia Devine: It would have been three.

Natalie Richards: So bad.

Felicia Devine: Because I already don't have color. You know how many people have...

Natalie Richards: Oh.

Felicia Devine: unknowingly insulted me that I'm like pale as a ghost and look ill.

Natalie Richards: You know.

Felicia Devine: And I'm like, yeah, it's because I have no ferritin in my body.

Natalie Richards: Right. Right.

Felicia Devine: my My iron storage unit has been...

Natalie Richards: sapling

Felicia Devine: Ransacked.

Natalie Richards: Exactly.

Felicia Devine: What's that? What's that? HGTV show where they go buy storage units sight unseen.

Natalie Richards: what Storage wars.

Felicia Devine: Somebody storage ward my body, okay? It was out for blood.

Natalie Richards: Took my storage unit.

Felicia Devine: No pun intended. So, so vitamin D we're on the up already.

Natalie Richards: Bad. It's so funny.

Felicia Devine: I'm already.

Natalie Richards: who

Felicia Devine: So do you, do you recommend I just take. One jelly bean.

Natalie Richards: Just one. Mm -hmm. One jelly bean.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: Mm -hmm.

Felicia Devine: So it's 5 ,000 IU.

Natalie Richards: Yep.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: Yep. They'll be good.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: you could I mean technically like if I'm sick

Felicia Devine: And then, oh.

Natalie Richards: I take like... Sometimes three of those.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: So like if you feel like you are under the weather, yeah.

Felicia Devine: Getting a virus. Okay.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, like you can do it temporarily.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: you can do multiple.

Felicia Devine: A higher dose, okay.

Natalie Richards: Maybe not for like too many days, but. Yeah, you can do a lot.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Okay. Now, the other thing that's... I'm so embarrassed of But I share everything embarrassing on this podcast, so why would I not?

Natalie Richards: Right, it doesn't matter. Whatever.

Felicia Devine: My omega ratio is so bad.

Natalie Richards: I'm seeing that.

Felicia Devine: I'm embarrassed.

Natalie Richards: I'm seeing that. and your so what's kind of funny i think what's

Felicia Devine: Why? I think because I don't eat enough fat.

Natalie Richards: Correct. That's what this is showing right now.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So you actually are low.

Felicia Devine: Because my LDLs are scary too.

Natalie Richards: You're low in... Omega six, like the linoleic acid, which is a good thing actually to be low in that because you don't want to be high in that, but you're low in all of it.

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm I know. but I'm also low in three.

Natalie Richards: So I think you just need, you just gotta, gotta.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: bump it up a little bit.

Felicia Devine: Right. And I'm like. I mean.

Natalie Richards: Let me go back to your...

Felicia Devine: We eat like.

Natalie Richards: Bless you all.

Felicia Devine: It's not like I'm eating like lean turkey. like I'm not opting for those options, but I just like I'm low in I'm low in good fat.

Natalie Richards: Right. No, like you're eating fat Yeah, you may just wanna...

Felicia Devine: And bad fat. So my ratio is all off, but.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: So.

Natalie Richards: You just need more.

Felicia Devine: I need to. So. I have an Omega. that I'm going to.

Natalie Richards: he

Felicia Devine: I have a liquid.

Natalie Richards: Perfect.

Felicia Devine: So I'm going to up that and then. What else is low -nat? Oh, my biological age. Ugh.

Natalie Richards: What is it?

Felicia Devine: I'm half a year older.

Natalie Richards: I... Oh no.

Felicia Devine: but it takes into account your red blood cell health.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: Now mine is budget.

Natalie Richards: And what it's also taking into account is that your LDL is like higher than what they would want it to be.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Felicia Devine: Oh.

Natalie Richards: But... That's that's really what it is

Felicia Devine: So. I think if I can get these budget blood cells cycled out and build some good ones.

Natalie Richards: Everything's going to get better.

Felicia Devine: And then... really tone in on that like that like weird omega thing and the cholesterol.

Natalie Richards: who

Felicia Devine: thing So why, why are they so mad at my LDLs?

Natalie Richards: I wouldn't be mad at that LDL.

Felicia Devine: i I felt like I wasn't mad, but then I'm like they're like attacking me.

Natalie Richards: personally.

Felicia Devine: I got like six out of range.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah. But then none of your other ones are right. Like it was only these that I'm seeing.

Felicia Devine: No. Mm hmm. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So it's just your LDL. is a little bit of a weird shape and size basically.

Felicia Devine: Why is everything a weird shape in my body?

Natalie Richards: Because of, I think inflammation.

Felicia Devine: Natalie. Is it because everything?

Natalie Richards: something.

Felicia Devine: yeah But my CRP, like.

Natalie Richards: But you're not. I know.

Felicia Devine: Every.

Natalie Richards: That's like.

Felicia Devine: All my inflammation markers are low.

Natalie Richards: I know. There still is. I know. What was your, did they do fasting insulin?

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: What was that?

Felicia Devine: The A1C?

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: Or no.

Natalie Richards: fasting insulin.

Felicia Devine: Fasting. Let me pull it up.

Natalie Richards: Did they do that?

Felicia Devine: Let me see. I think they did.

Natalie Richards: I think they do. I just

Felicia Devine: Are you looking for lipase, amylase? Are you looking for...

Natalie Richards: It literally would just say insulin.

Felicia Devine: Metabolic.

Natalie Richards: It would be meant yeah metabolic.

Felicia Devine: Insulin. Yeah. 5 .9.

Natalie Richards: Okay, good.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: A1C 5 .3. Percent.

Natalie Richards: Okay. Great.

Felicia Devine: gorgeous Glucose 78. Gorgeous.

Natalie Richards: Great.

Felicia Devine: So like all of those are really good. And then my.

Natalie Richards: Interesting.

Felicia Devine: My CRP. Where's CRP? Where's my heart? Hold on.

Natalie Richards: I think it truly may just be. a nutrient thing

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm. No, I think so too. My... CRP is 0 .6.

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: And above one is, is inflammatory.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: So like, that's good.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, good Did they do a bunch of thyroid markers?

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Okay, so nothing was weird.

Felicia Devine: Let's go to thyroid. Hold on. I can actually send you my login so you can see this too. All my my antibodies, good. Peroxidized antibodies, good.

Felicia Devine: TSH, good. T4, free, good.

Natalie Richards: What was your TSH?

Felicia Devine: Uh... Point eight three.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: And it's... 0 .4 to 0 .45. So it's low.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, it's low. that's my That's the only thing.

Felicia Devine: But that makes sense.

Natalie Richards: with

Felicia Devine: It makes sense that all my, I'm like a low body girl. Like.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: I just have like low nutrients.

Natalie Richards: Everything is just. Yeah, I think that's what's happening is it's just

Felicia Devine: I don't know why. Thank you. It all cycles back to you to the...

Natalie Richards: low energy and low. nutrient.

Felicia Devine: Like, am I hypothyroid? Maybe.

Natalie Richards: Almost, yeah.

Felicia Devine: But like my free T4, right smack dab in the middle, 1 .2.

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: My free T3. 3 .7, smack dab in the middle.

Natalie Richards: Okay. Okay.

Felicia Devine: Bye.

Natalie Richards: Interesting.

Felicia Devine: Like everything just looks like.

Natalie Richards: just a little yeah

Felicia Devine: fine, but I'm just like malnourished. Am I out i'm malnourished?

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Maybe.

Felicia Devine: Do I need a chef? Danny.

Natalie Richards: Danny!

Felicia Devine: Danny, I need...

Natalie Richards: it's time to hire a chef

Felicia Devine: I need a chef.

Natalie Richards: i It's literally, it's giving.

Felicia Devine: It's giving malnourished.

Natalie Richards: It's trending, trending Taurus. towards your body's just not getting enough. of something.

Felicia Devine: But I'm also still giving out. Poor Seppi.

Natalie Richards: I know. And that's the, yes, that's the other part. You're you're giving everything to him.

Felicia Devine: I can't believe I'm malnourished. Am I surprised I'm and not malnourished? No.

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: I can go.

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: I can go 18 hours without eating and be like, should I eat?

Natalie Richards: oh

Felicia Devine: But it goes back to, so.

Natalie Richards: That's the leptin.

Felicia Devine: That's the leptin. They test your leptin levels, which for those of you that don't know anything we've talked about so far, leptin. is a hormone in your stomach. Well, it's in your body, but it's a hormone that

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: stimulates hunger and appetite.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: Now, high leptin is people who are obese, who have this like constant food noise, always hungry, always have an appetite for things.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: low leptin, which i've always this has always been my narrative. I'm like, I have no appetite.

Natalie Richards: Yep.

Felicia Devine: And people are like, oh, that doesn't make sense to me. I'm like, nothing ever sounds good.

Natalie Richards: Yep.

Felicia Devine: Like I don't have an appetite. Like right now, technically I'm hungry right now.

Natalie Richards: You don't care. Like you don't care about food all that much.

Felicia Devine: No, I have no care in the world for food right now.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: I'm technically hungry No appetite. Is that crazy, Natalie?

Natalie Richards: It's crazy.

Felicia Devine: So like. I have no leptin. I mean, i I have a little leptin, but we we just got it back.

Natalie Richards: he I think vitamin D may help with that a little bit. And then. I mean... That's where like the circadian rhythm comes in too.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: that getting

Felicia Devine: Yeah, but then that also, that ties into cortisol.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: My cortisol is gorgeous.

Natalie Richards: But that's why cortisol, I'm just... Blood cortisol, I don't really care about that all that much. It doesn't tell you much.

Felicia Devine: Well, what how else do you market?

Natalie Richards: Sal, saliva. You do like a daily saliva.

Felicia Devine: over the course of the day. I could do that.

Natalie Richards: Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: I could do that. Oh.

Natalie Richards: That might be something to check.

Felicia Devine: Natalie.

Natalie Richards: Just curious. What?

Felicia Devine: I am a testing queen these days.

Natalie Richards: Where are you?

Felicia Devine: The other thing I did was a hundred and something. Foods.

Natalie Richards: Oh you did?

Felicia Devine: I did.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: i I made my assistant sit there with me and squeeze the blood out of my finger.

Natalie Richards: Oh my gosh.

Felicia Devine: Have I told you I have a... An assistant.

Natalie Richards: No.

Felicia Devine: Natalie. Let me tell you.

Natalie Richards: Who are you?

Felicia Devine: I have a personal assistant.

Natalie Richards: Who are you?

Felicia Devine: She's amazing.

Felicia Devine: Okay. So.

Natalie Richards: I do have a good update actually.

Felicia Devine: She's... she's phenomenal she comes to my house once a week And does. Literally anything on my to -do list. She organizes closets.

Natalie Richards: Oh my god.

Natalie Richards: That was literally like what my job was.

Felicia Devine: Meal props. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: was when I was when I was younger and like I do need I need another one of myself yeah

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: You need that. you

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: You should get, it's made my life. I think that's why my, my life is less stressful.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: She's fabulous.

Natalie Richards: That's amazing.

Felicia Devine: So she comes, I have a whole list and we talked to her or like that day I was like, I need to, I need you to squeeze my finger. So she she sat with me and did my finger prick and squeeze my little finger.

Natalie Richards: Incredible. Oh my god. Oh my god.

Felicia Devine: And then she mailed it that day. Like, yeah, she.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: She helped me decorate for Halloween the other day.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: My mom calls her my wife.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. It's the wife that would like, I need a wife. I literally need.

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: I need me.

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: I need a me.

Felicia Devine: I hired a second me.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, it's fabulous. and And honestly, it's... Truly been the best thing. I've had her since. I probably really had her. Eight months.

Natalie Richards: wow

Felicia Devine: I love her

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: She and I are... Thick as thieves.

Natalie Richards: we

Felicia Devine: the because thiefves I took her to TJ Maxx the other day.

Natalie Richards: think That's amazing. How did you?

Felicia Devine: She had pre -med. everything she redid my whole laundry room storage supply i like she decorated like everything

Natalie Richards: Oh my god.

Natalie Richards: Amazing.

Felicia Devine: That's fabulous.

Natalie Richards: How did you find her?

Felicia Devine: Instagram. I just posted, I'm looking for a personal assistant. And she popped right in and said, I would love to do this.

Natalie Richards: Wow. Wow.

Felicia Devine: It's it's very minimal commitment. like

Natalie Richards: Yeah, like it doesn't require a lot from her.

Felicia Devine: Like, this week... Yeah, this week she's like, I have like a prior commitment. Is it okay if we skip a week?

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: And I'm like, yeah, that's fine.

Natalie Richards: fine

Felicia Devine: Oh, she books all our travel.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. oh

Felicia Devine: So she like booked our Chicago flight.

Natalie Richards: Well, I like doing that

Felicia Devine: She booked our Florida flights.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: She rents my cars.

Felicia Devine: Natalie, how do you get anything done?

Felicia Devine: and just Honestly, I'm just kicking you when you're down.

Natalie Richards: I'm sitting here doing everything myself.

Felicia Devine: I'm kicking you when you're down. Get an assistant, you silly.

Natalie Richards: I'm going to.

Felicia Devine: I can't believe I've never told you that.

Natalie Richards: No, I don't think that's ever come up. How convenient. You're just sitting over there with an assistant.

Felicia Devine: Every closet in my house is organized.

Natalie Richards: Oh my goodness.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: That's incredible. It's incredible.

Felicia Devine: She organizes junk drawers.

Natalie Richards: Wow.

Felicia Devine: Toys? Yeah, it's fabulous.

Natalie Richards: Wow. Wow, wow Wow.

Felicia Devine: Okay. What's your update?

Natalie Richards: Okay. is It's kind of like... funny it's like why are you doing this update

Felicia Devine: Oh no.

Natalie Richards: I... Right before homecoming, I went to, oh yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Oh yeah. You went to homecoming.

Natalie Richards: It's a homecoming. The first time in like a few years that I haven't been sick, like being there, which I just thought about.

Felicia Devine: oh

Natalie Richards: I like I'm sick for whatever reason, every single time I go.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, it's probably emotion code related.

Natalie Richards: So. It literally is like, wait, you're going back to school.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Sick!

Felicia Devine: Sick! who

Natalie Richards: It was really nice, though. It was actually like I i sat through wonderful lectures. It was.

Felicia Devine: did you

Natalie Richards: It was actually.

Felicia Devine: Actually shocked you said that.

Natalie Richards: Great. It was great. Like I learned, yeah, it was so funny.

Felicia Devine: You learn stuff? What was your favorite?

Natalie Richards: There were a lot of good pediatric ones, just kind of like.

Felicia Devine: Really?

Natalie Richards: like real life, like pediatric ones. It was kind of interesting.

Felicia Devine: I feel like they've never really heavily leaned into pediatric. They're always sports related.

Natalie Richards: Not like the in... Peace to us.

Felicia Devine: They've always had like Wow.

Natalie Richards: Literally they see something, don't know what it is. Do you hear them?

Felicia Devine: I'll pause it. Yeah. Okay.

Natalie Richards: We'll see.

Felicia Devine: So.

Natalie Richards: how that goes.

Felicia Devine: They haven't usually leaned into pediatric stuff that much. Like they'll have like one or two sessions the whole weekend.

Natalie Richards: No. Right. And it'll be general.

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: like super general stuff like oh my god i have to listen through all this stuff again it was it was interesting like one of them was like on special populations of of pediatrics where it's like, if you have a feeding tube or you have like, here's the things you need to know, blah, blah, blah.

Felicia Devine: Yes. Okay.

Felicia Devine: Ooh.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So it was kind of cool. It was like all the different like medications that kids might be on and like how to deal with that.

Felicia Devine: Cool.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: and

Felicia Devine: Because that is so prevalent now, kids on medication.

Natalie Richards: It was just really, yeah. Yeah. So it was it was actually relatable and usable information.

Felicia Devine: Good. Good.

Natalie Richards: There was some good stuff on inflammation.

Felicia Devine: Good.

Natalie Richards: just like yeah good stuff It was it was decent.

Felicia Devine: Awesome.

Natalie Richards: So, and like more entertaining.

Felicia Devine: Did you, you saw Marisa?

Natalie Richards: I saw Marisa. We went to dinner.

Felicia Devine: Good.

Natalie Richards: That was nice with Alex too.

Felicia Devine: Good. Nice.

Natalie Richards: That was fun.

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: It was so fun.

Felicia Devine: Good.

Natalie Richards: to be with both of them.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So, oh my God, i just these it's frightening.

Felicia Devine: Wait that actually scared me.

Natalie Richards: You wonder why I'm in fight or flight all the time.

Felicia Devine: You're listening.

Felicia Devine: Oh god.

Natalie Richards: Oh my goodness. They literally are so intense.

Felicia Devine: I'm so sorry.

Natalie Richards: but If Wilma was in here, it would be even more because River just goes at her.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Good. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: constantly.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: constantly. okay so Right before a homecoming.

Felicia Devine: Okay. You had an update. we have a close there

Natalie Richards: Right before homecoming, I got a text from a student. And it she's a Mali intern. So she, she's a Mali intern.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: She's from Canada.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Natalie Richards: And she is in her. Ninth try currently. about to be in 10th try. She is doing a preceptorship somewhere else in Rockford.

Felicia Devine: Ooh.

Natalie Richards: mhm.

Felicia Devine: No. Boo.

Natalie Richards: I know I was like, is it too late?

Felicia Devine: Do you know it?

Natalie Richards: is it too late to change oh i know who it is

Felicia Devine: Do you know who it is? You can tell me. Okay. After.

Natalie Richards: Okay. And she is. She was like, just basically looking for like a female mentor. So like Dr. Malley's wife.

Felicia Devine: Yes.

Natalie Richards: got her in contact with me she's like you need to talk to natalie just see how she does things as a female, as you know, whatever.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: hu

Natalie Richards: So I met with her. It was a really nice lunch. So I met with her during homecoming.

Felicia Devine: Mhm.

Natalie Richards: we had a good lunch it was kind of quick but immediately I was like oh my gosh you's too bad I can't like hire you like right now because she she's so great but she got into talking about like where she's living gonna live in Rockford and she's like trying to find a place and I'm like

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: I mean, it's kind of sketchy.

Felicia Devine: Just stay away from your apartment.

Natalie Richards: It's, it's kind of sketchy out there. Like it's a little, like you could be in some really bad situations and it's hard because it's for four months, you know?

Felicia Devine: Mmm.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So it's like a really temporary thing.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: And I go, well, you know, if you really can't find anything like. If yeah and you don't mind a 40 minute drive, you can live in my spare bedroom.

Felicia Devine: Oh, there you go. Oh my gosh.

Natalie Richards: and So then she like texted and she's like.

Felicia Devine: Then she could be your assistant.

Natalie Richards: Well, and maybe, maybe that's a good, maybe.

Felicia Devine: Or an au pair.

Natalie Richards: the but something. I'm like, that's kind of fun. I always said I wanted an exchange student, right?

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Technically, she's Canadian. That's pretty exchange.

Natalie Richards: She's... Canadian.

Felicia Devine: You're getting your feet wet.

Natalie Richards: Oh my God. So she, she hasn't decided yet, but she actually like might.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: come and live with me for four

Felicia Devine: Peace.

Natalie Richards: which is ridiculous that I'm even like considering taking that on, but.

Felicia Devine: Considering that. But maybe she'll be helpful.

Natalie Richards: She's so sweet. And I think actually it might be helpful. Like she can be here with the dogs a lot of the time that we're not.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: and she She was a pro hockey goalie in Sweden and Finland.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Oh, my God.

Natalie Richards: So she...

Felicia Devine: She's right up your alley.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, she's really, really cool.

Felicia Devine: Natalie.

Natalie Richards: So like.

Felicia Devine: Maybe when she... She graduates her preceptorship. She'll work for you.

Natalie Richards: Well, she wants to go back to Canada, but.

Felicia Devine: No.

Natalie Richards: I will certainly make it known that she is more than welcome to work for me if she would like to stay.

Felicia Devine: can stay. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So we'll just kind of see.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. and not live with you forever, but she can work for you.

Natalie Richards: Right. Right. So I told her I was like, I'd hire you in a second.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: so but she's she's you know a good at she can be a good adjuster she has potential to be

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Well, it sounds like she has some masks behind her too, which is good.

Natalie Richards: to be really good. She knows. She knows the Mally. techniques at least which is huge to have to teach yeah to have to teach somebody the extremity stuff

Felicia Devine: Yeah. The concepts.

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm.

Natalie Richards: is a lot. So like she.

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm.

Natalie Richards: she's like, it's refreshing to see a female doc, not just using activator the whole time.

Felicia Devine: Mhm.

Natalie Richards: I'm like. Yeah, this is a little different.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Malleus is the opposite of an activator adjustment.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, yeah.

Felicia Devine: Mm hmm.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: So it's like.

Felicia Devine: Grip it.

Natalie Richards: grew a yeah so I'm like I think I have like a nice mix between the two you know So she was.

Felicia Devine: All right.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. A girl who's malnourished uses an activator.

Natalie Richards: Right. Great! And that's okay.

Felicia Devine: That's my crutch. I'm malnourished.

Natalie Richards: And that's the beauty.

Felicia Devine: I hate. an extremity.

Natalie Richards: all different, all the different adjustments, you know?

Felicia Devine: I know but I hate an extremity adjustment.

Natalie Richards: I know you do. i know you do it's So funny.

Felicia Devine: Ugh!

Natalie Richards: It's like my bread and butter.

Felicia Devine: No, they're like, I need an extremity done. I'm like, Taylor's your girl.

Natalie Richards: Mhm.

Felicia Devine: taylor likes extremities for me i'm like i don't do toes

Natalie Richards: Really?

Felicia Devine: Speaking of toes, I have turf toe Natalie.

Natalie Richards: Stop!

Felicia Devine: I don't... I haven't stepped foot on turf in years. turf toe

Natalie Richards: are you talking about?

Felicia Devine: No, it just hurts. my my Big old.

Natalie Richards: Do you have like an ingrown toenail or something?

Felicia Devine: No, like my pip joint. myp My mip joint.

Natalie Richards: Okay.

Felicia Devine: the The big joint. What's my big toe big joint?

Natalie Richards: The big news.

Felicia Devine: Pip?

Natalie Richards: The distal one, dip.

Felicia Devine: No, it's not dissel. It's proximal. Pip.

Natalie Richards: Oh.

Felicia Devine: The a big one.

Natalie Richards: Sure. Sure.

Felicia Devine: It's the one at the ball of my foot.

Natalie Richards: Oh.

Felicia Devine: Proximal.

Natalie Richards: them. mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: my My pippy.

Natalie Richards: Yep.

Felicia Devine: Yeah, she hurts.

Natalie Richards: Proximal interphalangeal.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: My little pippy. I don't know if it's from like the repetitive high rocks movements, possibly, and the lack of recovery.

Natalie Richards: Maybe. Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: Probably.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm no.

Felicia Devine: But I've been like having to like red light it and.

Natalie Richards: Oh boy, you need an ankle adjustment is what you need.

Felicia Devine: I'm adjusting while I'm at my. What's it called?

Natalie Richards: matter

Felicia Devine: What's your foot? Metatarsal.

Natalie Richards: Metatarsal.

Felicia Devine: I was going to say phalange and I went, that's wrong. My metatarsal, my first metatarsal is so stuck.

Natalie Richards: Ducky stuck.

Felicia Devine: I can cavitate it and like I can adjust my my first metatarsal.

Natalie Richards: Ooh.

Natalie Richards: you definitely need a talus.

Felicia Devine: Well, I had Dan do my talus the other day and he almost threw up.

Natalie Richards: Yeah. Yeah. Hmm.

Felicia Devine: He hates a cavitation.

Natalie Richards: That is so funny. It's so funny that he even and he even entertains the idea of doing that for you.

Felicia Devine: Loves a cavity, hates a cavitation.

Felicia Devine: I know.

Natalie Richards: mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: But i I literally say, pull on my foot as hard as you can.

Natalie Richards: just Just do it.

Felicia Devine: And then he'll go. And I'm like. If you don't pull harder, nothing's going to happen.

Natalie Richards: harder Dan use that mess in your booty

Felicia Devine: Well, I was like, stand up and use that that gusto. And then he got it and he was like, no. I think he hates extremities as much as I do.

Natalie Richards: Kyle despises adjusting me. Sometimes I'm just like you have to do it.

Felicia Devine: I know. You have to.

Natalie Richards: just figure it out. I don't know.

Felicia Devine: I know. I...

Natalie Richards: i don't know what to tell you

Felicia Devine: I joke with people at my office. I'm like, my husband is so spoiled. He travels with a concierge chiropractor.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: You can get adjusted anywhere in the world at any time.

Natalie Richards: I know. mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: And then here I am like, I have to wait till Monday to get my vertigo fixed.

Natalie Richards: What a gift. And I have to, I know, I know. Fixing myself, activating myself.

Felicia Devine: I know I'm like activating C1 and I'm like, I'm probably blasting my Vegas nerve right now, but.

Natalie Richards: Ugh. I know. I know.

Felicia Devine: I don't know

Natalie Richards: it

Felicia Devine: I don't know Woo!

Natalie Richards: There's sometimes there's only Oh, and not Josephine. Oh she just went straight to the chair.

Felicia Devine: Oh, she's resting.

Natalie Richards: Funny.

Felicia Devine: She's recuperating.

Natalie Richards: Oh my gosh.

Felicia Devine: Josephine has her first mobile vet visit on Tuesday.

Natalie Richards: Oh my, how's she going to do with that?

Felicia Devine: Mm -hmm. Hopefully significantly better than just like the normal vet.

Natalie Richards: than the normal vet.

Felicia Devine: Because they come to us and it's like an RV.

Natalie Richards: Poor girl has trauma, man.

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Natalie Richards: Oof.

Felicia Devine: She has a lot. so

Natalie Richards: Oof.

Felicia Devine: It's just like a established, like starting a wellness. care with her.

Natalie Richards: yeah

Felicia Devine: So I don't have any expectation for it to be like.

Natalie Richards: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: that great.

Natalie Richards: Amazing.

Felicia Devine: Bye. I just want her to have a new vet that like I can call and be like, this is happening.

Natalie Richards: Yes.

Felicia Devine: Because her vet right now, I just don't.

Natalie Richards: I think that's great.

Felicia Devine: Love?

Natalie Richards: And you don't want to take her in there.

Felicia Devine: If you're listening. right now. I'm sorry.

Natalie Richards: Sorry.

Felicia Devine: I doubt they listen to me. they They hate to see me come in.

Natalie Richards: They don't want you. They don't want anything to do with you.

Felicia Devine: I'm like. I don't want the vaccines. Stop pushing the vaccines.

Natalie Richards: Oh my God. I saw one of my dad's doctors from the hospital in the Indian restaurant that we go to.

Felicia Devine: No.

Felicia Devine: No way.

Natalie Richards: And I literally almost like.

Felicia Devine: Did they see you?

Natalie Richards: threw up in my mouth now. Thank God.

Felicia Devine: Thank goodness.

Natalie Richards: Ugh.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. That's traumatizing.

Natalie Richards: That was like, I don't want to see you in the wild.

Felicia Devine: No.

Natalie Richards: Like, really? Hope I never have to see your face ever again.

Felicia Devine: Oh. Yeah, I know. That was a lot. Mm -hmm.

Natalie Richards: Oof.

Felicia Devine: Okay. Any more, any more updates on your end, Natalie?

Natalie Richards: but I don't think so. I'll let you know if I end up having a roommate.

Felicia Devine: Okay.

Felicia Devine: Yes. Absolutely.

Natalie Richards: I'm not sure

Felicia Devine: I know I'm excited.

Natalie Richards: Not sure. Anyway, she was really sweet. and it will be

Felicia Devine: Good.

Natalie Richards: Good for. her to learn to see things. She was only like. around males basically like all of her friends and like all the people who adjust her and she's adjusting is all males so it's like good to

Felicia Devine: Yeah.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Yeah. And she can hang out with you. Even if she's in Rockford at another office, she can still come like.

Natalie Richards: Yeah, she's really... Yeah, and she'll just she'll come and shadow my office and

Felicia Devine: Shadow. Yeah. yeah Or like you guys can go.

Natalie Richards: I was like, you can put in like the minimum amount of preceptor time that you have to put in.

Felicia Devine: to lunch and stuff

Felicia Devine: And then come to you.

Natalie Richards: And then just, yeah. Exactly.

Felicia Devine: Yeah. Perfect.

Natalie Richards: Mm -hmm

Felicia Devine: All right.

Natalie Richards: So.

Felicia Devine: All right. Well, that's all for this week.

Natalie Richards: Keep you posted. Mm hmm.

Felicia Devine: Thanks for joining us.

Natalie Richards: Bye.

Felicia Devine: Bye.
