We took a little break because the month of August was like a little crazy for both of us. Well, mostly for you, i think. Like you had some work travel and Margo's birthday and like crazy. But I guess, wait, hold on. i was going to say, guess for me too. Because we were in like Tahoe for a whole week. was crazy for two weeks and you were gone one week. So yeah.

We had a little bit of a hiccup on the way there. on our, on our we Okay, we were supposed to leave Saturday, and we were on a 1245 flight. Our first flight, we had a connection, so our first flight was delayed, which would cause us to miss our connection, and there were no other flights out that day, so we ended up pushing to Sunday morning.

But honestly, think it ended up working out much better. like Our flight, our early morning flight was like way better. um And the girls did really well. Like they, cause it's a long travel day. It's eight hours.

Evie, you know, is busy for sure, but she likes to do what Alice is doing. And Alice is pretty good at like sticking to activities and stuff. Now, Alice is also she learns and understands the like headphones and iPad situation to where she would sit with the iPad with headphones. right like So good on the plane. I'm like, yay.

So it's like it comes with a little and they're clear. That thing saved like my life. It was so great to have that. And they loved it. Um, so anyways, the trip there honestly was better. We were in Lake Tahoe by like 10 AM m on Sunday. So we lost like 12 hours, honestly. Um, and I would have liked that better. I mean, we like traveling that early in the morning cause they're so resilient. You don't, you know what I mean? Like they wake up and you're like, all right, let's go.

Family Trip to Lake Tahoe

um This is my first time there in the summer. I've been in the winter. Obviously Whitney and I've been together in the winter with Graydon and Alice when they were little. And um I have to say, i am planting my flag in the summer camp of urban Lake Tahoe.
