Speaker: Hello, my babes. Welcome back to the It's Happening For Me podcast. o i just have such a full heart and I wanted to share with you this message that is really coming through very, very strong right now in my world and just like I think collectively is this idea.
Speaker: and I want to bring you back to this, this true reality. That so many things are happening behind the scenes that you are not even aware of. Okay. So many people are speaking your name in a very positive light in rooms that you have absolutely no idea.
Speaker: there are people who you are their literal dream to work with. Like your name and your signature offers are literally written down right now on someone's vision board. And they are saving up. They are manifesting working with you.
Speaker: You have people are literally think about you as someone who is the catalyst to their evolution. And they are literally so grateful for just who you are and,
Speaker: Whether they've been clients in the past or they've just experienced your work, if they've experienced your free work, if they've just followed you on social media and even just your free content has inspired them.
Speaker: I'm talking about people in If you work a corporate job or if you used to work a corporate job, if you work a service industry job, if you volunteer places, family members, friends, when you go to the dentist, when you get your hair done, like your hair girl, like there are people who truly think the absolute world about you and you have impacted their life and contributed to their growth.
Speaker: far beyond even signing up for one of your offers. And the reason why I'm bringing this up is because sometimes on the entrepreneurial journey, it can feel like we're almost talking to a void, okay? So no matter where you're at in terms of like starting your business, maybe you just started your business, maybe you've been doing this for years, it doesn't matter how much success quote unquote you've had, it doesn't matter how much how much sales you've called in in your business,
Speaker: All of us can tap into this energy of sometimes feeling like our life's work is falling on deaf ears, or we just wish that we were more visible. We wish more people could see how powerful our work is. And sometimes we tie our...
Speaker: are self-worth around who's signing up for our offers or who's not signing up for our offers. We tie our self-worth around engagement or lack of engagement on our social media, right? We tie, it's so easy to just tie our worth around these things that we think are important when actually our purpose and our life's work is so fucking much bigger than Then even our businesses, then even the offers that we have. Okay. So I want to share this beautiful story with you that just absolutely like blew me away today. it was so synchronistic. And this is why this message is coming through. And I know that you need to hear this. Okay.
Speaker: So I have been needing to get an oil changed my my lights to like notify me that like my maintenance light, you know, came on like right before me and George went to Long Beach last weekend to go visit the aquarium, which from San Diego, that's like a two, two and a half hour drive.
Speaker: Both ways. And so like, fuck, the maintenance side is on. Okay, Alyssa, like, you know, George telling me like, you need to get this done like next week. And you guys know me, I work at Valvoline. So of course I get half off, which is iconic. So I was like, okay, cool. Monday, day I'm going to go get my oil changed. something happened Monday didn't get it done then Tuesday came around i was like okay I'm gonna do it on Tuesday didn't get done Wednesday okay I'm gonna for sure go on Wednesday something happened where like I think I ended up working later and then by the time I was off like it was impossible and then Thursday okay I'm gonna go but then like all the managers happen to be off on Thursdays and um just like a little rule that we have when we when we like use our employee discount it's like a manager has to be present So I was like, okay, fuck, I'm going to have to do it on Friday.
Speaker: So Fridays, I work half days in the office and then half days at home. So I was like, okay, cool. I'm going to go to the oil change. I'm going to go to the one that's like right by my work on my lunch break and like just knock this out. And I never go to this, this one. Okay. I always go to the one by my house. I i don't even think I've ever been to this one.
Speaker: We have like 37 locations in San Diego that I recruit for all of them. So like I have certain ones that I go to, like depending on like how close it is to me or like, you know, to go say hi to like my favorite people, whatever. Right. So i was like, I've never been to this one.
Speaker: So I go and I'm like, okay, hopefully it's not busy. I have a meeting that I need to get home for that's like cameras on at one o'clock and like I need to make this quick. And we are 15 minute oil changes. So normally like you can get in and out, but obviously if there's a line, you have to anticipate like 15 minutes per person in front of you, right? So it could very easily turn to like 30 minutes to 45 minutes if if it's very busy. Anyways, I pull up, there's no one there.
Speaker: I'm like, fuck yes, that never happens. Like a full bay is open. So I pull in and um the girl helping me, i let her know like, hey, like I'm Alyssa, I'm the recruiter. and she's like, oh my God, I know. and she's like, my name is blah, blah, blah. And, um you know, I just wanted to let you know that like you are the one that hired me. And I'll never forget like the conversation that we had and like how much you really like hyped up, you know, working here. And like you really sold me on like this dream of like growth opportunities and how I could like really have a career and how much you love the company and like how much you grew. And she's like, I remember, you know,
Speaker: um you're like, can you come in today for an interview? And she was, you know, just, we were kind of like reminiscing on everything. And I remembered her and you guys, I interview thousands of people. Okay. I interview thousands of people a year.
Speaker: I hire hundreds of people a year, probably a thousand people a year. So that means I'm higher, like interviewing 10,000 people. I don't know. That sounds crazy, but like whatever it's very high numbers right but i remember this girl because i remember when i was talking to her she had the best energy i've ever experienced in my life she remember reminded me of myself i could tell that she was just like such a go-getter like just such positive energy like wanted to step into a leadership role just like such a great communicator great customer service like i was like this girl is going to go far like
Speaker: girl, can you come in for an interview today? Like, let me, like, let me make this happen. So, you know, like she went in for the interview that day. Like I told the manager, you're going to love her. Like she's going to become a manager. Like we need this girl. So long story short, she ends up getting hired and she's telling me like, Oh, Alyssa, like I just hit my seventh month mark. And I,
Speaker: I'm an assistant manager now. And she went through the assistant manager training and now she's the assistant manager at that location. And seven months is very fast, like to become an assistant manager. We have a very clear growth path for, um we want to get everyone at least to a senior tech or yeah at least a senior technician, which is like entry level to management ah management position within your first like four to six months. And that's like right below assistant manager. So the fact that she became an assistant manager within seven months is just like a testament to,
Speaker: her work ethic, the effort that she puts in, how much she wanted this, right? Her ability to just like learn and develop so quickly and develop her leadership skills. So anyways, I was just like, oh my God, like that's so cool. And she's like, yeah, I literally thought of you like when I got my certification, like, oh, I'm like, I'm so grateful for Alyssa and like, you know, like letting, giving me this opportunity because I am essentially like the, I guess I would say like ambassador of the company or like face of the company and like you do have to get through me. I'm kind of the gatekeeper, low key, like you have to get through me to move on, right? To to interview, to your second interview. So anyways, she was just saying like how grateful she is and like how much I really like hyped up, like, you know, even being like a woman in this industry and like how much like we can um just create such a beautiful environment. Like women, it's very male dominated and women, we just make such a great, um,
Speaker: not to be, you know, not to be biased, but as women or, you know, just having more of this, this like female energy, we really do. We are like the harmonizers of the place. We can also really get people in order. Like cleanliness goes up. Like we, um, follow procedures. We learn so quickly. Like there's just so many, um great things that, you know, women and females can do. It's just like,
Speaker: honestly, the stars of the show. And so i was just so happy for And we were just like reminiscing, whatever. And I was thinking like, oh my God, like I just, if I, and then, you know, I did the oil change. She did such an incredible job. Like, and we have like procedures so like no matter which one you go to you're gonna get the same experience every time and it's gonna be iconic it's gonna be great but of course like things are gonna come up right like people might not like maybe they're not fully following it maybe it's like um someone's new maybe someone's having a bad day i don't know whatever but this was honestly like the best oil change i ever had and i was like girl hell yeah So then ah um at the end, she just like thanked me again, was like, just like, thank you so much for this opportunity. Like, I really do think about you all of the time and like my growth. And she's like, I'm going for, you know, I just, I'm in the the Top Gun program, which is something that we run like twice a year to learn everything you need to know to have your own service center. So then if the opportunity opens up, you can interview and out 10, 10 on the clock and become a service center manager. And this is where you're like, you're making good money. You're, you're a full on leader. Like you're managing an entire lube.
Speaker: like shop, like a so right like an oil change facility, like that's crazy, right? And, um Yeah, I'm just so proud of her. And so anyways, she was just like, oh, like, thank you so much again. Like, you know, I'm going to be a become a manager. I was like, no, like you literally are like, I'm like, I can't wait for that day. And she's like, no, I really am. Like, thank you so much. And she, you know, just like saying how I instilled the possibility from her at like from the beginning, from the jumpstart of like, girl, this is not just a job. Like, take this seriously. And you have your career laid out for you.
Speaker: Right. It's like, yeah, it's hard work. It's hard. You're going to have days where you feel like you fucking suck. There's going to be days where you break stuff or you feel like, you know, there's call outs and like you're overextended and it's hot and you're tired and people are in a bad mood. Right. There's drama like everything that can go wrong could go wrong. But I just if you.
Speaker: Have this seed of commitment and devotion, which is the current Genki, Genki 29. From the moment before you start something and say, I'm going to take on this. I'm not just halfheartedly, which is a shadow, one foot in, one foot out. You know, maybe I'll see how this job goes. I'm still going to keep applying to other jobs. Like, I don't know. Maybe I'll maybe I'll see if this is. worth it or not. No, if you start something with the fucking intention of like, I'm going to be the best, I am going to grow, excel, I'm going to get to the next position, I'm going to get to the next, you know, leadership position faster than anyone else ever has. I'm going to, um the other thing really cool too, is like, she started that
Speaker: when she started, she was the only female, um, at that service center location. And she, since working there, I think we've hired like five, like more. And it's like girl power. We want more. And also just a side note to give you guys like a little insider, like tip of like, if you're like, why the fuck aren't there more girls? It's because it's just like, not, there's not female applicants that apply. Like, believe me, like I get so excited whenever I see like a girl come across or a female, i'm just like, oh my gosh, like girl power, let's fucking go. Um, but it's just, people just don't apply because, you know, we, a lot of us, first of all, very male dominated. Also, a lot of us think that we need to have these skills or like be car people or like have this knowledge when like, we don't require any automotive knowledge, but I think a lot of people don't know that. And we actually look more for customer service and like so like retail experience. Um, because we can teach you how to do the oil change, but we cannot teach you to be a good person. And and have high standards and have excellent service. So anyways, um it's like she started this job saying, bitch, I'm going to be the best that I can. She had me already be an expander for her of like, girl, I did this. I started where you're at. I also moved up. I became a manager. I managed three different locations.
Speaker: Then I became the admin. Then I I'm in recruiting. Like there is a clear career path for you here. You have to just fucking do it. Like you have to be all in, you have to be committed. You have to be devoted to this. Even on the days where it fucking sucks. And like, you're going home and crying. So many days I went home crying, feeling like a loser, feeling like a failure, feeling like I'm just not getting this or questioning. Why did they even choose me? Even when I, even when I,
Speaker: was promoted to service center manager and I started running my own service center, I literally did not understand why they chose me. Like i like the identity of the leader had not yet caught up with me, like from what other people could see in me and of me.
Speaker: Right. And then it's like the growing cadence of now being a, being a new leader. being in charge of people, right? Being a good leader, having so much responsibility. um And there's just, yeah, so much that goes into it. But it's like,
Speaker: If you start something with the absolute devotion and commitment and the full seat of that, it doesn't matter how long it takes. It doesn't matter if it doesn't turn out exactly how you thought it was, but things will like be fruitful in your favor. And so the reason why I'm sharing with this with you is because if i never went to if I didn't forget to get my oil changed on Monday, and if i if I didn't do it on Tuesday, if I didn't do it on Wednesday, if I didn't do it on Thursday...
Speaker: But I did it today at that location that I've never gone to before for oil changes. um I would have never had this conversation with her. I would have never known that I impacted someone so greatly. i would have never known that she still thinks about me and remembers the conversation that we had and attributes her success to a little tiny seed of me, giving her that potential and possibility of like, girl, you can do this. Like I see you, like you have everything that is within you. And this is the other thing, you guys, it's not the knowledge. It's not the fucking information, right? How many of us fall into the shadow of inadequacy because we feel like we don't know enough, right?
Speaker: This girl didn't know anything about cars. She didn't have automotive experience, but she had a fucking incredible attitude, an incredible, beautiful spirit of aspiration of like, girl, I want to be a leader. Incredible service, excellent communication skills, right?
Speaker: She is the reason why she is where she's at right now and at the position she's in. It's not because of the fucking knowledge. It's not because someone... It's not because she went to school to get a degree or ah you know auto tech degree. And so that's something else I want you guys to take away from this is like whatever you do and like your genius, the reason why people sign up to be work with you, the reason why people hire you, the reason why you far exceed everyone else in the things that you do, it's not because of the information or the modality. It's because of who you are as a person.
Speaker: And the attributes that you have in this life of growth, aspiration, and just all of the beautiful different, you know, frequencies that make you you. um So yeah.
Speaker: Sometimes on the days where we feel like, God, am I speaking to a void? I wish more people would sign up to this program. um Does my work even matter? We are impacting people in other ways, right?
Speaker: um This is kind of full circle and very beautiful because the first human design reading that I ever got, like professionally, was from Nicole Goucher. And I love her so much. And I think we met...
Speaker: in dharma coaching institute i forget exactly how we met but i remember getting a reading from her and i remember her looking at my chart and i was explaining to her how i like work in recruiting but i'm also you know like a business owner and she i never will forget this she's like oh my god that's so crazy because your unconscious son is 53 is fifty three which is all about beginnings and like new beginnings. Right. And, um, and the gene keys 53 is super abundance. It's its expansion. the the The shadow is immaturity, but it's all about new beginnings. And she's like, how beautiful is that? That like, you're so aligned even as a recruiter, because you're, you're,
Speaker: giving people a new beginning, a new career. You are the catalyst at their, um you know, at this, this part of their life where they are starting something new and you get to be that person to like bring them through that experience and even give them that opportunity, right? to like move forward. um And so she was like, that's just so aligned. And I was like, oh my God, like even outside of my business, I'm so aligned in my recruiting role.
Speaker: And so many babes that I talked to, okay, so many clients, so many peers have this inherent shame of like only thinking about the money that they make from their business. And there's this shame of like, I'm not a full, like I'm not actually killing it at entrepreneurship. I'm not fully like doing what I'm supposed to do because I'm also making this money elsewhere, right? Like I'm also making a fuck, maybe they're making a fuck ton of money in their other side hustle or in their corporate job or their service industry job. And they're like, oh,
Speaker: I don't know. I'm just a loser because I'm not making this X, Y, and Z amount for my business. It's like, no do you not see that you are changing lives in all parts of your life? Like it is not separate. Like our business is not our purpose. Our businesses is is a part of us because we are our purpose. Like who we be is our purpose, who we are in these side jobs that we have, right. That we think might just be to like, you know, pay our rent.
Speaker: And well, thank fucking God, because then we can put our our energy and our time on our business to actually be our passion and to actually serve in the way that we want to feel and not feel restricted and not feel like, oh, my God, like I need the pressure to like pay my rent with my business. And that just distorts our creativity. And like that's not going to work. You know what i mean? So think about your purpose and your business as this longevity of like, this is something that you're doing over your entire life. And if this is truly your life's work and something that you're obsessed with, it's absolutely iconic that you're still making money in other ways.
Speaker: And you're probably impacting other people, even just by you being there, by the presence that you have, by the compliments that you give people, by the groundedness that you bring to the team, by the positivity that you bring, by the funny hilariousness that you bring, by, you know, the helping other people stand up for themselves, helping other advocating for people around you, right? Right.
Speaker: Like I know how good it feels to see myself in certain peers or certain coworkers where, you know, they're still, they still haven't fully stepped into their power and they're afraid to like make certain decisions or like advocate for themselves. And so me having been there in the past and healed that and overcome that, I can now advocate for other people and to help them have confidence to speak their voice, to ask for things that they need, to ask for support.
Speaker: So it's not just this like, oh, just my business and the money that I make in that is the flag, you know, I don't know, like the flag of whether I'm successful or not. No, it's all parts of us.
Speaker: It's everything that we're doing. People are talking about you everywhere positively. People are so inspired by you. Even like the outfits that you wear, maybe it's like, God, like her style is so cool. Like,
Speaker: If you like have like a sick ass style, like people are talking about how much inspiration you give them to like wear cool clothes. Or if you're like working out at the gym and like you're just so confident with your headphones in and you're just like killing your workout, you're inspiring other girls and other women, even men out there that they can also do this.
Speaker: It's like just us being in the world the way that we are. If you're in other programs, the way that you show up in those programs, the way that you, again, like build other people up, like just so many things, the way that you find abundance and prosperity in seemingly crazy, the craziest places, the way that things just work out for you, the way that you just manifest things like crazy, like the way that you embrace your body and how you look and like you're confident in yourself like all of that is giving other people inspiration and the and the the belief that they can do it too
Speaker: And so I really, again, want you to take this as like a reminder that you are incredible. You're doing great things. People are obsessed with you. People have your programs and you you written down as their dream mentor. People think about like wishing they could be your friend. People think about wishing they had your life, right? Even if you don't have the perfect life, even if you don't have the Instagram approved,
Speaker: House, an apartment, none of that fucking matters. That is not what people are looking for. We're so distorted in what we think is successful. So I want you to take this and go into the world and tell your subconscious mind right now and God, source, universe, show me all of the ways that I am impacting people.
Speaker: And actually ask for a sign. I want you to say this out loud. God, source, universe, subconscious, highest me, highest self, whatever you want to say. Send me a sign
Speaker: that I am meaningful. And just wait, someone's going to compliment you. Someone's going to reach out. Someone's going to send you a DM. Someone's going to call you. You're going to get something.
Speaker: And I want you to pay attention and look for this in your reality. And every time you get these little nudges or these little hints or these little things, write it down. Keep a journal of it. Because I need you to realize how fucking cool you are and how powerful you are and how much people talk about you. And there's so many people, you guys, that I'm fucking obsessed with that I share their names and their work everywhere i'm go everywhere I go. And they have no idea. They have no fucking idea. Okay?
Speaker: People are doing this about you too.
Speaker: So we need to be a little more delusional in the other way, in the positive way of how much we're actually changing lives. And just by being ourselves, inspiring people like people. There's this one girl that i follow.
Speaker: She's the reason why I got a walking pad because she's lost like 90 pounds from walking on her walking pad for like five hours a day. She inspires the fuck out of me. I've never told her that. I don't even comment on her stuff. I don't even really engage with any of her content, but she has inspired the fuck out of me and changed my life.
Speaker: So you are changing people's lives from things that might not even be related to your business or like your gifts or your genius that people are making changes and they are growing and and feeling more confident, accepting themselves, feeling less shame, feeling more positivity, whatever it is, learning new things like Yeah, you're just like an influential ass bitch. So i hope you love this. This was so fun to talk about.
Speaker: um If you want to hear more about Jinky29 and this beautiful just gift of commitment, Citi is devotion and the shadow is half-heartedness. If you want to hear more about this, I have a really juicy, um, like private podcast that I do inside my healing bubble membership called the weekly cosmic forecast, where I break down the current solar jinky transit, talk about how this is probably showing up for you in your life, how you can work with the shadow, alchemize it and how behind the scenes of my life and my business and how the fuck I'm moving through things. You get all of the tea. I'm very transparent. It's really fun.
Speaker: Um, it's not like some boring textbook textbooky thing. It's just like this, like, um, a little riff so come join us in the healing bubble i also do
Speaker: I also do monthly calls. They're called um our monthly alchemist portal calls where I teach something about like sick ass masterclass about human design, the gene keys, how you can like embody these things. Or sometimes I guide the babes through like a really cool like hypnosis or meditation to just really tap themselves into abundance, prosperity and their true gifts as leaders. So I'd love to have you. i hope you guys have the best day and I will see you later. bye. bye
