Speaker: Hello everyone. Welcome back to the It's Happening For Me podcast. I am so freaking excited today. we have a very special guest. i can't wait to yeah introduce her to you. She is a friend of mine. We have worked together in the past. It's just been so special to really get to witness her and like her heart and her gifts and her abilities and yeah just everything that she is so today we have miss carolyn feliste joining us she's an intuitive healer and channel and she is a spirit guide for women specializing in relationship and self-love work it's very deeply intuitive and practical which i love about carolyn because she's so mystical but she really has a way of like grounding everything so everything makes sense which i love and her medicine really shines in one-to-one intuitive healing sessions And that is where her clients can receive the most potent energy work and these like spoken transmissions that she just channels directly from their guides. And I'm so excited to dive into all of it today. So welcome, Carolyn. Thank you so much for being here.
Speaker: thank you for having me. I'm so excited. Yes. Okay. Let us know. Where are you tuning in in the world? Where do you live? And maybe give us a little like just a little synopsis of like what you're up to in life. Yeah.
Speaker: so I live in California and well I actually I used to live in Pennsylvania actually so I didn't know that I know but I feel like I sound very much like a California girl at this point i went to school in Boston and in my freshman year this girl that I met in one of the first classes that I had was like dang those four years in California did a number on you i was like a That was kind of backhanded, but okay. So I guess I'm a California girl now through and through. Lately, i have just been doing some work very much like behind the scenes. I actually haven't been super, super active on social media, but I have extended a few invitations to do some one-on-one work with some of my friends like within the coaching space which is really cool that's something that I love about being in this community is that there's for me at least I've been this huge like give receive sort of um energy between other coaches and healers and i also started making music so Wait, tell us. Okay, you have to tell us a little bit about it because I just like I'm shocked in the best way. Well, i
Speaker: I've actually never taken a formal voice lesson, but I've always wanted to sing. Like i've with whenever I was a teenager and I was home alone, i would be singing and I sounded...
Speaker: kind of not, you know, not horrible, but I just wasn't able to command like that much power yet. And I feel like I don't have like a like a powerhouse voice. Like I'm not Adele. I'm not Lady Gaga. but but like just through practicing and feeling my own voice and like thinking about my voice as an instrument, like singing along to my favorite artists, singing when I'm by myself. I've just been kind of training myself throughout many years. And especially like this past year, I've been just naturally wanting to sing more for some reason. and then this sudden inspiration just came through me this these past few days. it's been a matter of days, actually. um some difficult work events wait i'm like what if they find this and they're like oh so it's about me no no it's just art guys it's just art um but i think the ang a lot of this like anger um about some drama in my life it just like culminated and i wanted to find a way to express it through art so we're here and
Speaker: Hopefully, hopefully, like very soon after this is published, I'll also have the music out so you guys can listen to it. Heck yes. i already told her, like, I want to be your first number one fan. Like, I'm obsessed with you. And like, yeah, I just feel like you're very creative and your channel is so connected. So I think it's so cool that you're able to, like, take these, like, different emotions and channel them into art. And yeah, just really create something really beautiful. The other cool thing, too, is that Carolyn's partner, her lover, Nick, is also a musician. And so...
Speaker: it's been i'm sure it's been so cool for you to just like also have this person who like is a genius at this and it kind of helps you know to have him absolutely yeah yeah he so he is more of like a rapper i feel like when when people hear like soundcloud rapper and and like no like he's he's he's legit he makes like dark chop um ah cloud rap um like just like a lot of like underground and also like different genres within it funk um I mean I'm not the the expert like I've learned all these terms through him and he knows everything not just from the creation side like he can produce from the very start he can obviously do the vocals he can
Speaker: mix and master and he also knows like marketing um facebook ads for music and getting yourself out there what what to if i ever got really serious like what to not look for it in like in in terms of a label deal like stuff like that i don't know if if that'll ever happen to me um why not i could but you know oh there can be there can be often kind of like a predatory relationship between a label and an artist and so you definitely want to like stay away from that at the very least and he's still independent right now and has made it to i think right now he's at 50k monthly which is a huge deal to be able to do that independently because that's like the top i think 0.1 percent of all people that have ever made music on oh my gosh a public platform yeah
Speaker: That is so cool. So, okay, isn't it crazy how, like, we can be in these relationships, and it's not until later on in the relationship, like, certain parts of, you know, our partner's personality or something, or, like, something that they really love that maybe wasn't really a part of our world is now, like, coming together, and, like, it's almost, like, really synchronistic.
Speaker: Yeah, because I didn't ever know that I wanted to do this. Actually, for a long time, he was like, Carolyn, like your voice is great. Like, why don't you like you have to make music? Like, you're just he like this his words. He's like, you're naturally talented. Like, you need to make music. And I would always tell him, ah I don't I don't feel like doing that. Like, I don't feel drawn to doing that for for my career. And ah in one day, it was like, actually, maybe I do feel like doing that.
Speaker: It's all very divine, you know? That's, like, one of the most beautiful and fascinating things that I love about life itself um is, like, sometimes you you just genuinely, like, you don't know yourself as well as God knows you.
Speaker: you don't. You think that you do. i think i think I do. But all these little seeds set up and planted by the divine...
Speaker: have ah been so much more perfect for me than I would have been able to do on my own. Have you always had a strong connection like with God or like spirituality? Like how did that kind of come about? right I used to be such an atheist. Really? Yeah, yeah. um I mean, when I was a teenager, i was like, oh, God is not real for sure.
Speaker: Astrology is stupid. And those were kind of my two, like, beliefs around that topic. um And it was really only through, like, deep hardship that I found God. so I mean, it was the first time because I was in college at the time. And when I was just I was so depressed and I was in this really horrible place. And it was the first time i really thought to myself because I i was so depleted and I was like, I need something deeper than this.
Speaker: Like all the all of the things that I would normally go to, like whether it was just self-reflection or therapy or talking to my friends and stuff like that, like it was all supporting me, but I felt this deeper wound.
Speaker: And the natural answer to me at the time was just to explore like, well, what is God to me then? And after that, it just snowballed into what it is today. Mm-hmm.
Speaker: I love that. One of the things I love most about you is that you're a very strong, connected channel. And it's just so cool to see it, like, just, like, pour through you. For everyone listening, I've had a session before with Carolyn. And it's just, yeah, it's just so profound. So I guess I would love to know, like, how did that come about? Like, did you, like, yeah, just tell us the story. Like, how did you uncover that you even have that ability? Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, it was very, again, like, natural and, if like, planted, like, bygone, not even by myself. Like, I never thought that I would do this. But um as I was, you know, like, getting into this, like, new age spirituality stuff, and it was probably, i think 2021 when started,
Speaker: is when i first started um I first started receiving spiritual mentorship from someone for the first time. So I literally, I found my first spiritual mentor by chance. I think I saw her on TikTok first and I found out that she was offering like private sessions and they were like a really, really good price point for me. And she was amazing. And i'm kind of sad that
Speaker: Like i kind of lost touch with her. i mean, we still follow each other and stuff, but I mean, she was my mentor for, I think two or three years. And she herself was very much intuitive. And so I think that somewhere along the way, it just became a natural curiosity for me. Like, how do you do this? Like, like this is amazing. i was i was blown away by her ability to know and understand things deeply about me that I hadn't even expressed myself because because like God was telling her directly. Right?
Speaker: And, and so she just kind of helped to plant the seed of like, um just, I think, I think she told me like, just meditate and just let it come through and don't think about it.
Speaker: Just, just meditate on something. Just ask a question. And I also was contemplating these different types of psychic-ness, like claircognizance, clairsentience.
Speaker: clairaudience and and I feel like everyone has a different psychic channel um and so just kind of like finding something that worked for me and for me that was visualizing this light coming into my crown yeah and from there like I would just wait and I would like ask a specific question and then I would just wait for an answer and then thoughts would just come so to me like I i felt first connected to I guess the claircognizance one um
Speaker: yeah, it was just something that I felt like doing at the time. and and I just, I just kind of did it. Yeah. I love that. So it's crazy because we both have the same vocation in the Gene Keys, was which is Gene Key 48. So the shadow is inadequacy, the gift is resourcefulness, and then the city is wisdom. And so i feel like for us specifically, like, we have to put aside this, like,
Speaker: almost fear of like not getting anything or like nothing coming through or saying the wrong thing or sounding dumb. Like we have to completely remove that. Obviously everyone does, but like specifically us, like that, the feeling of not knowing enough is just going to come up often. And so like, yeah, do you, do you resonate with that where it's like, you have to just put that aside so that you can just let whatever come through? Absolutely.
Speaker: Absolutely. That's a fact. um Actually, before i ever just did like pure channeling, like no divination tools, like before that, I actually did tarot. um Because like, the I guess I think it was the, I guess the year before or like the first half of the year before I was doing the spiritual mentorship.
Speaker: um I was just really into tarot readings. They were helping me a lot to receive tarot readings. And I was like, is i it was really random the way that I got into tarot because I was playing some sort of just like regular card game with my friends and I was shuffling. And then I was like...
Speaker: but And the cards were flying out like the way that terra yourself a car just like fly out. And I was like, oh, my gosh, I have tarot hands. And then I was like, oh, i was like, you know, that scene in Legally Blonde where Elle has the epiphany. She's like, oh like like that that was me in that moment. I was like, oh, my God, tarot. It's like um and then I bought a tarot deck. And then I was doing live streams a bunch on TikTok just like doing free tarot readings for people.
Speaker: and I was like, learn tarot with me, like, I'm get a free reading, like, I'll help you, and you'll help me learn, and so I was, like, looking up the meanings of the cards at first, and then um people were encouraging me, like, other tarot readers were encouraging me, like, feel the message intuitively, like, you've got the basics, now it's time to take it to the next step, which is, um like, intuitive interpretation, like, don't just rely on like what the internet says the three of swords means or something. um
Speaker: I was getting feedback from the people that I would do readings for and every single one of them was saying this resonates, this resonates, this resonates, this resonates. Like, it was crazy. It was crazy. I was like, okay, so this is real. Okay. And because I had that experience of doubting myself and wondering, am I just making this up? I was like, these thoughts are coming up and I'm just going to say them. Because at the time it was like very safe because I was admitting, I was like, guys, I i don't know what I'm doing yet. Like,
Speaker: I'm just going to say it and you tell me. You tell me if it feels resonant to you or not. And they were like, yeah. Like all or most of it was. So being able to have that external confirmation actually really, really helped me because it helped me to see the pattern, which was...
Speaker: this is just my mind telling me to doubt it but just had to learn to trust and surrender i was like okay i just trust because i know that when i'm in this intuitive flow it's not me i'm not making it up i'm not making it spirit is telling me this shit that was really helpful I love that. Yeah, I feel like I feel like that's for any like sort of gift or skill. It's so incredible to have that humility and just be like, OK, I don't know what I'm doing. Let's see what comes through. And especially like having that gene key. That's also something that has always helped me, even like in my corporate job or something that i'm doing where I'm like, I don't know exactly what I'm doing. And then and then just kind of like leading with that. It's like we do know what we're doing, you know, but it it just helps have that like confidence, you know.
Speaker: Oh, shoot. My thing started falling. Okay, so when you so you're doing these like live readings, did you notice that did I'm just curious, because I also did um only a couple of times I did like some lives on TikTok. And for me, everyone wanted to know about relationships and love. Like that was the number one thing. I was like, guys, let me help you find your purpose. Let's talk about career. No love relationships. Should I get back with this person? Does this person think about me? so did you have the same experience? Yeah, i because I think everyone is very, they get very like, I don't mean this as a diss at all, but everyone gets like very like desperate when it comes to relationships because relationships can hit on our biggest core wounds, our biggest insecurities and like make us feel like like dirt, right? And so I feel like because of that, so many people that were struggling with that
Speaker: ah the more emotionally charged the situation, the more that they would want spiritual guidance because they're like, I don't i don't i don't know what's happening. like I feel so out of control. yeah yeah And do you feel like How did you realize that one of your favorite things to do though is to help people in relationships? Like with your channeling, you are such a strong channel and you're able to, I guess it's like, I guess it's like self-love work as well. Can you talk a little bit about that, about the difference between like the work that you do and like the difference between someone that would be like, oh, I just want to know if this person loves me versus like the work that you do. Yeah.
Speaker: So yeah. so I feel like you're allowed to start from a place of like, does what does this person think about me? But I feel like, hmm.
Speaker: It was what I learned from my own personal experience is just trying to seek external validation. It's just a bandaid. It's never going to actually do anything for the deeper part of you that doesn't feel like you're enough. And so because I had had my own personal difficult relationship or difficult experiences with relationships, I was able to understand that. And I had my own journey of like just just trying to chase what I want to receive from another person like that it didn't even work it't it didn't even work to get me what I wanted which was to feel worthy to feel wanted love you know and so i had my journey with self-love and really coming to understand for the first time because for my whole like I guess young adult was
Speaker: didn't even consider the possibility of like self-regulating that wasn't something that I knew was an option actually for a while um and so I was able to reach this place where I was like okay there's a much deeper level of stability that you can um resource from inside of yourself like you you can't just always make it someone else's responsibility to make you feel good and so i don't want to just be someone who's like oh this is what they're thinking about you because to me it's a little bit shallow and again not to like shame the person for feeling that way because like i felt that way too but it's not going to actually give them what like the healing that they want And and really, like I just I want to go i want to go deeper. like I want to fundamentally change like what what is the perspective? like What is the fundamental worldview that you have about your emotions and in relationship to another person? Because for me, ah again, I was like,
Speaker: I simply did not realize that it was actually up to me the whole time to manage like my own and my triggers, my my emotions. And obviously you communicate that and your partner helps you with that when they're a good and healthy partner. um but yeah, it's like, what what are the basic assumptions that you have about relationships? And what is your own relationship with your internal world? And if we can really go there, that's actually the thing that's going to change your life.
Speaker: Mm-hmm. that That leads me to this question of like people thinking that they have to be perfectly healed. Hi, Cookie. I was going to say that earlier, but then like we changed the subject, but I want to be like, hey, my baby. um Oh, yeah. Okay. So this idea, a lot of people think that they have to be like perfectly healed or they have to reach this point of like ascension to like meet their partner. Like what are your thoughts on that?
Speaker: so I feel like there's two parts wait can I first do the one that's like you need to be perfect oh I don't know which way I want to take this first actually i actually want to do the second one um like be you need to be like ascended something that I I saw this girl post something on threads a few weeks ago and at this point I forget exactly how she worded it but it was something like oh for my like ascended ascended beings or or some some like really lofty terminology like referencing like herself it's like well for my like awakened conscious like beings like do you think that you need another awakened soul to be a a romantic partner because something about like oh it's so hard to take like
Speaker: get what you want from someone that's not spiritual like to me like what i read but it was still very it i was like this is not ascended this is not an ascended mindset what are you talking about um it was kind of like looking down a little bit upon in this case would be men who are not as spiritual as as yourself and i'm like okay them being spiritual is not a requirement to be a equal partner to you or to be a good partner like for nick my boyfriend he's not like as into all the same esoteric stuff that i am um but we have the same values that's what matters like um
Speaker: he He actually still is very interested in a lot of different aspects, whether it's like spiritual things, God, um even he'st even kind of curious about things that I don't feel personally drawn to, like certain aspects of like witchcraft and sigils, and I'm just like, eh, I don't really care about that stuff personally, but like it's cool that you like that. So...
Speaker: so Yeah, I mean, first of all, my thoughts on that are very clear. I'm like, whoever you happen to be with is always a perfect match for your you know level of consciousness. if Like if we want to use that language and use that framework, yeah.
Speaker: It's impossible for you to not be a match to the person that you're with. And I don't mean that as like, it's necessarily a good match, but whatever whatever person that you're with at any different stage of your journey is the exact person that you need to be with at that time. And it's the exact person that you would choose with your current, you know, um emotional state. And i feel like I'm repeating myself a lot, but like your relationship to yourself, to your triggers, to...
Speaker: um like how you view relationships, right? How you view receiving. And so like, if at one point in time, you feel drawn to someone who's more avoidant, um it's because that's kind of what you expect to get, first of all, from people, or it's also what is familiar. It's something that reminds you of your relationship to your parents, or one of your parents, one your caregivers. um And like,
Speaker: in the sense that that person is a match to what's happening on the inside. Like they're always going to be a match. it doesn't mean it's not toxic. It's still toxic. But I'm like, it it's impossible for you to not be a match to the person that you're with.
Speaker: from I'm really hoping that that doesn't get misconstrued. No, that makes perfect sense. I agree. Yeah.
Speaker: And then on the other the other half of the question, like, it was like, what was the question? It was like being perfectly healed, something. Like, do you, like this um false idea that we have to be perfectly healed to to like receive love or? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Ooh.
Speaker: That is like a massive rabbit hole. We could go down. Yeah. but what comes up around that for me o i feel like i kind of want to talk about this in the lens of being in like a long-term relationship so i've been with nick now for five years and throughout these five years
Speaker: There's been a deepening of our connection with each other. And there's been like things that have come up, like, um like maybe there were certain parts of myself that were more on the surface that felt inadequate in the beginning.
Speaker: And then those parts started to feel safe around him, which is beautiful. And then a few years in, maybe like an even deeper part of myself would come up that was like, ah
Speaker: can he still love me if if i mess up if i'm not if i don't treat him well sometimes um like other other personal wounds other questions of Am I still gonna, like, is he still gonna stay? Like, and it is he still gonna stay? And reaching that um ah really existential point where I actually realized, again, this, like, resonating theme of it's not really about him at the end of the day. It's actually do I accept those parts of me?
Speaker: Oh, wow. That is profound. Yeah, and I came to a point where I was really coming face to face with some very deep shadows, some very deep shame.
Speaker: And had few different mentors, i one of them being you, Alyssa, who helped me through that time. And a big thing that I came to learn is like,
Speaker: You can think that you accept yourself, but if you're only accepting the parts of yourself that are easy or palatable to accept, like, you're not you're not there yet. and and Not that there's a final destination for you to be at, but there's more of yourself that you could love. Like, you could love yourself even more wholly, even more fully, more unconditionally. Yeah.
Speaker: And can you even love the parts of yourself that think they can't be loved? Because I was kind of like separating off um these parts of me that they were like in the basement.
Speaker: They were like in the shame basement. It's like, we don't we don't think about that. Or like, that's not me. Like, I would i would tell myself, well, oh, those aren't really me. But I don't think that that really serves you to say like, oh, that's not me. Like, I'm i'm a good i'm a good person. Like, I don't i don't do bad things. Like,
Speaker: Because all it's doing is creating dissonance inside of yourself. And you're giving yourself this message that it's possible for you to love only certain parts of yourself and not others. So going to that dark place inside of myself and and reclaiming and scooping back up that the stuff, the shit that was in the basement.
Speaker: And... having the fortitude to say i love this part of you like even if it's hard for me to love this I'm gonna choose to I'm gonna choose to love those parts of me too um so I don't know how much this really relates to the original thing that you wanted to ask me about but no that's perfect but ah I really, really think that is some very deep medicine that a lot of people need. I feel like that gives a lot of people listening right now so much, like, relief. I feel like a sigh of relief of, like, okay, like, I am still capable of being loved, like, no matter where I'm at right now in my time and space. Mm-hmm.
Speaker: Exactly. Exactly. Because, like... The idea that there's something that you could do or a certain way that you could be that would make you not loved all of a sudden.
Speaker: That's a lie. a lie. I mean, like would God hold it against you? and if you're telling yourself, yeah, yeah, god even God, even God can can't forgive me for that right that. That's all that that's all you most loving way possible.
Speaker: one of the most painful things I've ever thought about myself at one point was like, even oh, even God can't, like, god God doesn't love me. Like, I was just, like, so, like, in my shame spiral. It sounds really almost goofy looking back because it's like, why are you, like, you were being so dramatic. Of course God loves you.
Speaker: What are you talking about? Yeah. Mm-hmm. I love that. I feel like another part too of like the first part of the question of like, do I need this?
Speaker: Like, am I too ascended for this person? You know, like, do they need to also be spiritual or whatever? I think a lot of people find themselves like honestly alone and very lonely because their standards of what they think would be a good partner is just like...
Speaker: not actually what creates a good partner like we were saying it's like more about the values of having aligned values and um someone doesn't have to be spiritual like what even is spiritual it's like man-made like the the spirituality that we think of right and the things that we're interested in it's low-key like man-made so if just because that's not someone else's interest doesn't mean they're not a great person and the values is much more important than like what is someone interested in you know Yes, like, I'm not out here doing, like, tantric ceremonies every single night with Nick. We're not out here channeling together. we're not out here using all of, like, the relationship spiritual jargon all all the time with each other. Like, you know, like, ah we're not...
Speaker: I'm painting like a very, like kind of exaggerated picture, but it's like we're not going, we're not doing ayahuasca ceremonies together. Like and like having ego deaths and like meeting each other like in the soul realm of like,
Speaker: we could we could like if you want to do that awesome but like it doesn't make it less spiritual my ro my experience of him is equally as spiritual as if i were to do any of that because it is the to me it is so humbling and so beautiful like the amount of times that i just it just kind of hits me one day and i i i'm thinking about our relationship and i'm thinking about how he's been here for me and all the ways that he's loved me
Speaker: and all the ways I've loved him and and just how meaningful all of it is, like the gratitude for it. It humbles me. And like, I i start crying because I'm like, holy shit, like I really have this. Like, this is so beautiful. and I mean, what is what is more spiritual than this feeling of hi cookie she's like she's like yeah i agree agree as one of your guides I agree but oh well i what yeah what is what is more spiritual than having this insanely yeah just humbling experience of i have something so fucking beautiful in my life it is insane that I get to be this blessed
Speaker: and it's not because it's perfect it is exactly it is perfect it is perfect not because we never make any mistakes not because we never fight or get mad at at each other but it's all perfect for me I wouldn't change anything about it mm-hmm I love that. I feel like the, um yeah, like relationships are like a basically like a training ground, spiritual training ground, because it's like people can be alone and like be in their own perfect little world and like never be triggered. But in relationships is when you're going to be the most triggered and show like, yeah, like the the hardest or like darkest parts of yourself. Yeah. So to be able to have someone that you get to go through life with and like be your fullest self, like again and again and learn more about yourself and both grow and evolve is so special.
Speaker: Hi, Cookie. Hello. For those of you who can't see, if like you're just listening to the audio, we can see Carolyn's cat Cookie.
Speaker: She's so cute. had the I have to show her off. I love her. Yes. She's us. So I'm curious, in the work that you do, like, when you are, like, in energy healings and, like, channeling and you're working with women who are working on self-love and, like, their relationships, is there ever, like, are there any core themes that you see come up, like, often? Or, like, is there...
Speaker: um Yeah, I don't know. Like, is there any like core general theme that you see come up often or anything from spirit that is just like so tied to like love and relationships?
Speaker: Great question. Because first thing that comes up is the intuitive sessions are actually very, very personal. um and different very very very very very widely from person to person um so
Speaker: between like different clients and different readings that I've done like very different things come up because they are so specific to their situation um
Speaker: And this isn't really like a thing, but more of a feeling. More of a feeling. Something that especially has been developing more recently as my intuitive skill gets stronger is it's like the space that is held. um it's the it's the It's the experience of it.
Speaker: It's the healing that naturally happens just by receiving it, just by by being in that session. um Because, like, there is, on the one hand, the information that comes through. And on the other hand, and what I realized is that it is a collaboration in the sense that, yes, of course, like, my client does need to take collaboration.
Speaker: accountability for their own life like I can't reach in and do the things for them and on the other hand like while they're in that virtual room with me they actually don't really need to do anything because a lot of the magic that is happening is energy work that's facilitated by me and actually the more that they can relax and the more that they can do nothing kind of like receiving massage or reiki session um like for me Again, like i haveve I've never really been trained in a specific modality necessarily, but um I've been told from my very intuitive friend that I've been doing this for like lifetimes. And so that's why it's so natural. And I don't need to like, and there's nothing wrong with learning a system. And that I've kind of considered myself like, you know, like, do I want to learn a specific type of skill?
Speaker: But it's this like very... like raw natural energy healing that just purely comes through and I think that I was able to step into that facilitation role because of my ability to put myself aside and to recognize I'm myself I'm surrendering to what the creator what spirit wants to do here in this session like what does this person need and I get like
Speaker: images and symbolism and I'll see them. um Like I had one session where I saw my client in like an egg.
Speaker: So we're entering this different dimension that is very much real because it is having ah an impact on like the three d reality.
Speaker: But, like, all of a sudden, i'm I'm just, like, transporting us into this other realm. Like, I've had, um ah with the egg thing, you know, like, we did some sort of energy healing. She didn't, I didn't tell her to do anything, but I did tell her what I was seeing. And it was actually me that was...
Speaker: manipulating the energy and making what needed to happen, happen, encouraging. And I wasn't forcing anything. It was just what wanted to happen anyway. I just happened to be there and and and she happened to be there at the exact right time and to receive that thing.
Speaker: um I've had a session where i It was like speaking. Like sometimes i just purely go into this channeled state where every word that comes out of my mouth is a direct transmission from that person's spirit guide. I've had the spirit of time come through and speak directly to my client. um I've had the spirit guide say, we're now going to transport you into the safest dimension that is possible for your soul to experience and like whisking her energetically into...
Speaker: a a world like a so a world for her soul to be safe and she really she really needed that she really needed that and there was and there was nothing that was actually said for a while because i was letting her rest um the thing that was coming through was she was kind of in this like state of hypnosis ah by that point and her soul was sleeping peacefully in this different dimension and from there i could transmit
Speaker: um foundational beliefs that she needed that her subconscious needed to hear And so there's like a big responsibility that comes with this work as well. To be pure hearted, to want nothing but the best for this person and to give only what would serve them the most. um Those are some very beautiful examples of of specific things that have come up in session.
Speaker: hmm.
Speaker: yeah like hey it's also very different but it's also very beautiful to me that is the theme is is the like I'm talking about humility a lot I feel like today is it is this this humbling power of what can come through when i put Carolyn in the next chair over and I'm just I'm i'm just channeling right now um yeah, what comes what comes through when I step into that role.
Speaker: Yeah, I highly recommend anyone listening to get a reading because it is truly something that like you really cannot describe unless you're in it. Like I remember even for when you were doing mine, it's like you would say a word, like you would be channeling something and you would say the most perfect word and like, you're like oh, just blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, you're lying. Like it would literally be like the exact confirmation that I needed from my spirit team of like, wow, like,
Speaker: This is the answer. And then it's almost like, yeah, like this energetic shift is like happening where it's like not just information, right? It's not like you're just like, oh, telling someone information. It's like with literally a word, can be like, oh my God, I can feel things like shifting. it's it's It's mind-blowing. Like truly, it's mind-blowing. And also...
Speaker: This is another like fun little side note. i hired Carolyn to be my resident reader for the portal of you. So when we get to the part of the Venus sequence and also Carolyn was a student of the portal of you. So also she's a got to experience that. And.
Speaker: You know, once I experienced her magic and it helped me so much, like with dealings and matters of the heart, um I was like, okay, I have to add this on. So whenever we get to the Venus sequence part, for all of my babes who are like private clients in the portal view, you also get a reading with Carolyn, which is so cool because...
Speaker: Yeah, it's just so helpful. Like everyone, that every private client I've ever had, even though we're working on like entrepreneurship and business, it's always relationships too, because it's our whole selves, you know, and we all have something going on, whether we're in a relationship long term, or single, everyone, like the matters of the heart are everything.
Speaker: Absolutely. Mm hmm. Yes. So, okay, something else that I think about you, and I forget exactly what gene key this is that you have, but you have this really beautiful gift of almost this like romantic lover girl, like idealistic vision and like kind of, you're very ah otherworldly when it comes to relationships. And you just are such an old soul. Like I agree with everything that your friends said about about like doing this like lifetimes and lifetimes. Like, yeah, you don't need a certification. Like this is already...
Speaker: you, how would you say that you kind of view like life and love from this like very otherworldly, like romantic lens? Yeah, well, first of all, I think i think it's GeneKey22 that you're referring to, Grace.
Speaker: Yes. Yeah. That one shows up a few times in my human... Wait, no. human does like my In my GeneKey. And before I even knew that there was, like, a ah label to put on that part of my energy, I just always...
Speaker: identified from the start. like Since I was conscious, I was having deep thoughts from like pretty young. pretty pretty Pretty freaking young. And i Like since I the first started thinking about like relationships, um I mean, okay, even back up with that because it wasn't even just relationships, just life.
Speaker: who I've always had a romantic outlook. Like one time was very young. I was in in the backseat of the car. My family was driving somewhere and I was looking at all the buildings and And at first I was sad, because I was thinking, dang, because I've always loved nature, and I was thinking, we paved over all this shit.
Speaker: This is so sad, like, all the trees that you had to cut down just to make these ugly buildings. And then and then I thought to myself, actually, it's kind of, it's beautiful as well.
Speaker: it it is beautiful as well. um The... the things that we've been able to build as humans, the accomplishments that we've we've been able to have, and and to just kind of like see the the beautiful edge of everything. um And then it became seeing the the beauty and pain, and that can be a like controversial sometimes in the sense of like, you don't want to glorify or romanticize your own pain to the point where like you're just letting yourself suffer or be abused but but there is kind of like an artist mentality I think coming through of still like sometimes sorrow is very beautiful um maybe even like a little bit of a masochistic is that how you pronounce it like a masochistic edge kind of coming through a little bit of like But it kind of feels beautiful and to feel everything. yes like Sometimes I liked crying. Sometimes I would listen to sad music to make myself cry more um because I wanted to. And again, there can be a dysfunctional side to that because after many years, i was like, okay, I'm going to
Speaker: kind of sick of being a sad girl all the time. Maybe it's okay for you to be happy as well. um But it was it was for me, it was always like this romantic...
Speaker: like a playfulness playing with life itself and and just like loving everything about it like what can i find that i love like beauty has always stood out to me i think in um i want to say it's like plato's writings i learned about it in college in my philosophy class i think it's like love beauty and truth were I don't remember like what subsect of philosophy that is but um they're like these like big like lofty like concepts and for me like I always felt the most around a beauty um
Speaker: so it yeah i like as I've grown up and in my relationship now just I just feel things through that lens of beauty it's just a part of me um And I love it. I i love it. i think it comes also with being a Pisces. Like, maybe me and i just like, I love love and I love how it makes me feel. And I love giving it and love knowing that I'm making Nick feel the same things too. so
Speaker: um I mean, like, it it keeps it keeps my interest in all things love and relationships very much alive because I know how beautiful it is to feel that way. So, like, I want other people to feel that way, too.
Speaker: Mm-hmm. And you know what's so special, Carolyn, is that it's not even just like Nick gets to experience that. Like all of us who are in your orbit get to experience graciousness and grace, which is just like the most, yeah, like you're a lover girl. It's just like when I can just like hear a voice note from you, I'm like, oh my God, it's Carolyn. Like that is how people experience you is just this beautiful, like, Yeah, like lover girl energy. And i think something else that's really special is that 22 is in the emotional solar plexus in human design. And so you you're an emotional being, right? Like you have the emotional wave. Yeah. So I think it's so special because I love that you're like, I loved crying as a little kid. I like listening to sad music, like being able to own all the ranges of emotions. Like so many people want to like only feel good or only feel happy. And it's like,
Speaker: I feel like in the sorrow and in the like depths of like despair, that's kind of like where art is born, like to your point. And so it's like being able to have this like beautiful, beautiful relationship with all of it is like a full spectrum life.
Speaker: Yeah, absolutely. it It makes me feel like, I'm, I'm here for all of it.
Speaker: i'm I'm here for all of it even Even like lack of emotion sometimes. yeah I've also struggled with apathy as well. And even that, again, kind of tying it back to what I was talking about earlier about shame and not cordoning off certain parts of yourself and saying, you're not you're not allowed to touch that. You're not allowed to love that. Like,
Speaker: seeing even even experiences that like i I resist with but my whole being. I'm like, I don't want to feel this way. like oh like I hate my life. I hate feeling this way. It's like, no, like your life but your life is so so perfect and so beautiful and it's okay that it's unfolding this way.
Speaker: It's okay. I've really had to tell myself that. like you're not You're not losing quality of life. If you're able to experience all of it, Exactly as it is and and just like receive it and and and own it.
Speaker: ah yeah Like, yeah, this is my life. I'm experiencing life, all of it It's okay if it doesn't go the way that I want it to sometimes. um It's still my life, my only life.
Speaker: that's beautiful fuck that's something i learned from a mentor is like she always talks about like when we want to push something away like a certain emotion like apathy or like sadness whatever it's like why am i feeling like this again why why why and we're like questioning it or like i don't want this it just makes it last like way longer but it's if you're like oh like i'm it's fine like it's okay to feel like this because we know it's not going to last forever and then it's like just kind of like learning how i guess how to ride the waves of emotions yeah Yeah. That's exactly how I've heard somebody explain emotional authority is like you just ride the wave. so
Speaker: And if you're able to do that, then the wave naturally takes you to the end. Mm hmm. Yes, I love that. Okay, so i want to know what, like, what offers do you currently have? Or like, is there anything you're creating that you're really excited about? um That people would love? Like, for sure, if you still have your um readings, like love reading, highly recommend from me, but let us know.
Speaker: Yes, so definitely the intuitive sessions, which can be anything. It's not like a themed reading. um It's whatever you want to bring to the table and more importantly, what spirit wants to bring, but that that's everything. Every session is very like spirit focused. Yeah.
Speaker: that That is something I feel like maybe I would want people to understand is like if you come in with a specific idea of what you want to get and then like receive something a little different, just be mindful of what you're signing up for because like I'm not always going to tell somebody what they want to hear, but it's really it's what's in their highest good to hear and to receive.
Speaker: So be ready for that. Mm-hmm. And i do still offer the, like, the themed love readings, which, like, if you're in Portal of You, for example, and, like, if you were single, you're wondering, like, what? Where's my soulmate? Like, I have a reading that's designed to...
Speaker: Look into the energy around that. I can also do a channeled higher self reading where I can actually channel the higher self of your partner if you are in a relationship with someone, which is a very...
Speaker: very beautiful experience. Um, because for myself, like, when I've connected with Nick's higher self and seeing the relationship between our higher selves, that was really what blew me away about how, like, how faded our connection was. So, like, if you ever want, so like, a higher perspective or want to talk to your partner's higher self, that is possible.
Speaker: Um...
Speaker: And other than that, I would say just like follow along and see whatever I create next. Like there's been a lot of things that have been floating around behind the scenes and i think if I mean, if someone is listening to this and even wants to give feedback about what they would want to see and give me, like, a little bit of direction on where to go next, because I've had ideas of, like, I could do something about healing from narcissistic abuse and...
Speaker: re just like i guess finding your spark again finding not only like stability and love but also your purpose and like what where you want to go next like i felt called to do something about that but that's very much in like the creation ideation stage um or like maybe even something about ah Like apathy and like if you've been feeling like really disconnected from yourself or dissociated from myself because that's been like a current journey for me so that could be a future thing that I do too.
Speaker: I love that. I'm obsessed. I'm going to put all her information um in the show notes. But another question I have is, what advice do you, Carolyn, have just as yourself, like aside from like all of the modalities and stuff? Like what advice would you have for someone who is maybe currently in a relationship, like long-term relationship, and they just want to like make things better? Like what?
Speaker: Do you have any advice? I guess it depends on better in what way. um Is there any like specific Like, let's say, i know that was like really general. was like, I could. Like, okay. Oh, this is like this is what I'm going for. Let's say for all the women who are listening that are in a long-term relationship, but they've lost the spark with their partner and they want to get they want to get back to a place where things feel really alive and like good again. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. So...
Speaker: I guess like one way that you could ah you could see this is like if you have lost a spark because you feel like resentful at all of your partner, um like you don't see the good things anymore. like you don't like You don't feel like they're pouring into you the same way that that they used to. or like youre all the All these little things about them are getting on your nerves um for that situation.
Speaker: I would say accepting, it's like a two-way street. It's like, we've talked about accepting yourself more deeply and that extends to your partner too and accepting them exactly as they are. I know that that's kind of something that like anyone can say, like, we have to accept your partner and like, don't force them to change. um But like, yeah, that is the heart of it. um Like what parts of you are wanting your partner to be different?
Speaker: Can you get honest about that? And don't don't shame yourself for it. It's very human. It's fine. It's fine. But are there any parts of you that are like really resisting what is? Because if you resist what is and you want it to be different, you're you're just setting yourself up for failure. You're just going to make yourself feel even worse.
Speaker: So mean the more that you can really accept like what is currently happening, it's like this portal of love opens up right in front of you. Because you're like, oh of course, I still see them as so beautiful.
Speaker: in all of this chaos. um And when when you're able to do that, like, I feel like what I see is like you, like you yourself become, you kind of have this glow around you and like they're able to to also see you more beautifully because like your energy has softened.
Speaker: So, and when when when your heart softens, like really, that to me, the theme I'm getting from this the more that I speak is it's, like, letting your heart soften.
Speaker: Because I think that when you lose the spark, I don't necessarily think it's always because, like, you don't feel anything anymore. i think that you still feel those things and you're frustrated that, like, they're not going as smoothly as you want them to.
Speaker: If you've lost all feeling entirely, i don't really know how I can help you because I'm like, I don't know. If you don't love your partner, that's a very different, very different.
Speaker: I don't think that's what this is, though. and if your If your heart can soften... love is available to you again and and love wants to flow yeah love wants to flow in your relationship so you have to let yourself be open to it um if you're able to do that then you can actually you know practically speaking you can communicate your needs now from a loving place and not from an angry place because anger is just going to push them away even more
Speaker: Right. And I feel like it's just like one stepping stone at a time. I'm just seeing like little stones in the pond. It's like if you're able to take that step and then the next step, it's like the love, it just, it just comes back.
Speaker: If it was the foundation to begin with, you can, you can come back to it. is the I love that. I love that so much. Yeah. Cause I feel like a lot of people like leave too quickly and like, it's like, it's not even, it's not over yet.
Speaker: Yeah. Oh, I love that. Okay. Is there any final last things, like anything on your heart that you want to share with everyone about anything? Oh my gosh. I, I just feel very like connected with love right now. And also feeling, I guess like, I think psychically, I'm just feeling a little bit of general pain in the collective and Just wanting to let the listener know that you are safe and there's nothing about you that is unworthy, even if you tell yourself that there is.
Speaker: And hope as well is coming through, like life can, it can be different, it can be better.
Speaker: like it's not, I'm like i'm getting, like it's not over, like don't give up. Don't give up on yourself. no and And yeah, just like showering like everyone with love and hugs. I can literally feel that. I can feel that from you right now. So I know they can too. Yes.
Speaker: yes
Speaker: Oh my gosh. Okay. Well, thank you so much, Carolyn. This was so special. I'm so glad that I got to have you on and just ya chat about everything, love and relationships and everyone can experience like your essence and just being in your energy and hearing you talk, even just your voice. Like I love it so much. So I know they're going to get so much from it.
Speaker: Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And yeah, I hope to have you on my podcast as well. Yes. And everyone, I'm going to put everything in the show notes so you know where to find Carolyn. Go follow her. And i would just book a reading. Like, honestly, like everything is just too general. Like, if you want specific help and answers, just book the reading. And yeah, it it'll be incredible. So, okay. Thank you, guys. I hope you have the best day and we'll see you guys next time.
Speaker: Bye-bye.
