Like it's totally normal to like lose that sense of excitement or passion from time to time and totally get it. Life gets busy. Responsibilities pile up. And sometimes the things that, you know, once we once loved just start to feel like another chore, another task on our to-do list, right? And we just don't really like it anymore. And now here's the thing. It's not that you've lost your spark forever.

Reflecting on Joy and 'Why'

Like some common reasons why we might lose, you know, that spark and it it might fade is over commitment. When you are juggling too many things at once, it's easy to just feel stretched thin. Am I right?

routine doing the same thing day in day out can just make even the most exciting passions just feel bla like it's just you're just doing the same shit every day trust me i have that feeling but like that's where you gotta lock in that's where discipline comes in because there's a there's a long-term goal that you're trying to achieve right Um, disconnecting from your why, like when you forget why you even started in the first place, it's really easy to lose sight of that bigger picture now, isn't it? Now listen, the good news that fading spark, it's not permanent. It's just a little, little signal, like a little nudge to just kind of step back, reassess, make some space to reignite it again. Now.

Reconnecting with your why. One of the most powerful ways that we can reignite our spark is to reconnect with your why. I think back to a time when you really felt deeply passionate about something. Like what, like what was that?

why did Why did it light you up? Why did that bring a smile to your face? Why did it just give you that little tingly like, yeah, i I really want to do this? Like maybe it was your work or a creative hobby or a personal goal or like whatever it was. There was a reason that it really mattered to you, that it really made you excited. Now, take a moment and just reflect on this. What brings you the most joy?

What makes you feel alive? Who or what are you doing for it? Like who who who do you be around that really just lights you up and fills your cup? I just want you to reflect on this, right? Because there is those people that you have a conversation with them and you just lead the conversation and you just feel so alive and full and excited and and they motivate you.

I want you to just reflect on this and ask yourself these questions. ah Your why is like the fuel for your fire.

You know what I mean? So here's here's ah here's a quick little thing that we can do. I want you guys, if you're listening, um grab a notebook, grab your phone, whatever, and ah write down the answer to this question.

If I woke up tomorrow with unlimited energy, I was very excited, passionate, firing. What's the first thing I would do? Now that might, that answer might surprise you. Um, and it might just point you back to your spark, right? Like how, how, how do we reignite that spark?

So let's talk about how to actually reignite that fire. Like how to actually do it in manageable steps, okay? Change your environment. Sometimes like all it really needs is a fresh perspective. Try switching up your routine, exploring a new place, or even surrounding yourself you know, with inspiring people, like I just mentioned, um, new energy, like that, that often comes from new experiences. So like just changing up your environment is huge, because if you're just stuck, like I said, in this day to day routine kind of thing, and everything,

right But then maybe you you might just step outside your comfort zone, you might meet this new person, or maybe you might ah be around this old friend that is just there on fire, and like you go have a little workout with this person, and then you're just feeding off their energy, and then that kind of ignites your spark again. That's what I'm talking about when I'm talking about change your environment. Start small, and okay?

If the the idea of like diving back into something just feels very big and overwhelming, smart like start small, like revisit a hobby hobby that you let go of, spend 10 minutes a day journaling, or just take one step towards your goal that you've been putting off.

Okay. We all got goals. We all got things that we want to do, but when we keep putting it off, they all do it tomorrow, do next week. I'm going to do it next month. I'm going to do it in the new in the new year. You're never going to, you're never going to fucking do it. Let's just be honest. It was like, start small, write down things. What it, what ignites my fire? What is that thing that kind of makes me excited? Write these things down. Just get it out on paper. It's pretty simple.

And then, celebrate progress, not perfection. I've said this many times before in the podcast. One of the quickest ways to kind of snuff out your spark is by being too hard on yourself. I'm always hard on myself. I'm always hard on myself. I beat myself up over the stupidest things. I know this, but I'm talking about it on here. I feel like this is just therapy for me, because I know I do these things.

And I know that I got i gotta to stop being so hard on myself and you do too. We all beat ourselves up over stupid things. So instead, focus on the progress. Celebrate the small wins and let those victories build your momentum.

Now remember, reigniting your spark isn't about going from 0 to 100 overnight. It's about taking one intentional step at a time forward and let those things kind of light you up a little bit more, right? ah like Here's ah here's his a little little personal story um about me, about like kind of reigniting my my spark.

so i I feel like when I'm working all the time, I'm working all the time. I'm so in it. I'm so in it. I'm so in it. Like you just kind of start to get burnt out. You're just doing things day by day by day by day. And it's just the same bullshit. And you kind of just like lose that motivation.

Now I remember, I think I went on ah went on a vacation or something, um just for like just for a week. I just kind of like stopped working. I just let it let all the work stuff go, just went for vacation. You kind of let loose a little bit, recharge, reset. And then I remember when I came back,

I was just on a whole other level. I was on a whole other vibe. I just was so like, yes, like so excited to like create content and and and do what I was doing every single day. like I really was on another level. And I feel like just because I took that one week to go away, go in the sun, go have fun, go let loose, go blow off some steam, it just really reignite that spark again so like little things like that maybe that's all we really need to kind of reignite our spark because if you're stuck in this day-to-day thing every day wake up go to sleep go to work feed the kids have supper go to the gym and just repeat everything day by day by day it it can really be daunting on us you know what i mean so you know maybe and i'm not saying everyone needs a vacation

But for me, that that's all it was for me to kind of like reignite my spark, you know, maybe like going to hot yoga once a week, just kind of like, just relax and just, you know, just be very calm.

Whatever it is, like, if you'll find out what it is to reignite your spark, if you just you know Like I said, brainstorm, sit down, listen listen to this podcast listen to this podcast back and kind of follow the steps. so I actually have a little weekly challenge for you guys. so Here's the challenge for the week. Do one thing this week that lights you up inside. It could be something could be something small like just listening to your favorite music.

and And this is actually huge because there's been times where I throw on some music and I'm like, um I'm just vibing in the morning. I'm like, man, I have I don't remember the last time I put music on that in the house when I wake up and it just kind of like sets the tone and like puts you in a vibe like something small like that could really kind of light you up, right?

Um, just trying a new activity, uh, re like revisiting an old passion that you had, like whatever it is, just like make it intentional, make it about reconnecting with your joy. Because I find that when you are really happy and you're doing things that really makes you happy, that's when you start getting motivated. That's when your spark kind of lights up and you start being creative. But when you're just in this.
