Speaker: I'm Chels, they she. ah What are we in store for today? o we are diving into a classic. I think almost anyone Omegaverse has probably read this or at least heard of it.
Speaker: I think it's something we both read. Am I right? Yes. So this is going to be a reread for me. And who knows, maybe it's going to jog something for you. right Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. I know. um I know it's not my favorite, but I've definitely read it I may or may not continue to read its ongoings. Yeah. but yeah i It's definitely an important one. I feel like when I first got into Omegaverse, it was one of the first ones I ever heard of.
Speaker: I won't deny their child is really fucking cute. Their child is very fucking cute. So, like, that's, like, the one main thing they really got going for them. Yeah, no, I mean, we'll talk about it at the end. There's definitely, obviously, they did a lot of things right, despite it not being our favorite, maybe.
Speaker: Maybe I'll change my mind when I hear this. We'll see. All right, but so what is it? What are we talking about? Well... I don't know if you guys have guessed it by now, but we're going be diving into Love is an Illusion.
Speaker: it i think it is a very solid base to get started with Omegaverse, so even if it's not our favorite, it does dive into a lot of Omegaverse topics that it's explained actually really well.
Speaker: yeah I feel like a lot of my knowledge, I know every universe is different, but i feel like a lot of my knowledge came from this one. Especially because it does explore different different pairings and things. Which is fantastic. So we will be splitting this into two.

I haven't read it in a while except for newer things coming out, like I said, but a yeah, and I'm excited to hear it from the beginning again. I've never, this is one I've never done reread on, so.
Speaker: It was a hard reread for me. I might get that off my chest. um But instead of boring you guys, how do you Chels, should we just jump right in? Let's jump right into it. I'm excited.
Speaker: All right. So we're going to start off with the, what's it called? Synopsis? A little description? I'm sorry for my pronunciation, once again.
Speaker: But so... Heesung spent his entire life believing he was an alpha, the jackpot of the genetic lottery. But his world flipped upside down when he found out he isn't an alpha, but a lowly omega, which is really rude that they put that in. That is fucked up, but okay.
Speaker: This is alpha's lesson, by the way. This revelation is pushed to its limits when he constantly crosses paths with Dojin, an alpha who can't stand omegas.
Speaker: Take a step into the Omegaverse and find out what it's like, what it is that makes their pulses race and their bodies go wild. Okay. Dun-dun-dun. Let's get into Omegaverse.
Speaker: First of all, before I actually dive in, I didn't read what the official description on Lezen is. Rude that they already set the stage for Omega's that way. I'm just gonna get that off my chest right now. Omega's lander, Damn. Damn.

Speaker: He must be an omega. But he's claiming he's an alpha. So the dude actually backs off. Surprisingly. Because... yeah i would have thought he would push a little like, are you sure? to go check it out? Go back to my room?

Speaker: This gives Hyesung a moment to like kind of like step away to get breather. And he uses an expensive fragrance. It's this alpha pheromone cologne.
Speaker: And apparently it's supposed to like give you just more of a stronger alpha scent. And I guess omegas have also used it to try to pose as an alpha.
Speaker: but What happens to an Omega when they sit like are introduced to alpha pheromones? I bet they just smell like a high school locker room.

Speaker: Well, our male lead, um he checks him. And this is where he gets a reality check. Poor Heesung.

Speaker: Like, okay. So he basically set himself into heat. Still thinking he's an alpha. And now they are getting freaky.

Speaker: like a flashback to High school. Where... You know, they are getting their second genders and whatnot, but... He did get misgendered as an alpha.
Speaker: He went in and the doc was like, yeah. You... You're an omega. if If you look at him, he is your blueprint for an omega.
Speaker: Everyone in this world already thinks he's an omega. His friends think he's a fucking omega. Like... He's the only one that was like, no, I'm an alpha. I got alpha. That's that's my secondary gender.
Speaker: So his world is just like flipped upside down. And mind you, we're only on like chapter two or three. So he's like going through this existential crisis right off the fucking bat.

Speaker: This is how it is. How do you think you would feel if you secondly found out that you're not what you actually are? Like, 20 years later in your life?
Speaker: I mean, I can't say I've never experienced anything completely unlike that. But um this is definitely a different world. i would be upset if I found out i was an Omega when I thought I was an Alpha, for sure.
Speaker: However, I also like to think um I'm self-realizing enough that I would have known something was up in that situation. Like, is he's really your typical Omega. Like, I don't know. I don't think I've ever had that level of Delulu.

Speaker: And Heesung like, has a mix of emotions because he woke up not realizing he was fucking this dude. So not only is he embarrassed, he's also like, what the actual fuck is going on?
Speaker: and now you're telling them this guy I'm loud? bed? don't need to be that messy. Um... Well...
Speaker: One thing leads to another and there's just... Drama. Drama. There's like a lot back and forth of drama. The thing is, our Alpha was actually like an Omega hater because like his family kept pushing for like, you need go find Omega, you need to get married, da da da. So that's why it's like a shock to Hisu, the Beta, that this guy's like so invested in this Omega.

Speaker: It's not like he's cold per se, but it's like he's very controlling in a way. And well,

Speaker: get little bit of his backstory. it He got banded by his mom when he was five. And his dad was really abusive. He actually beat his mom and made her do sex work.
Speaker: Oh, shit. yeah Yeah, it was implied. Okay. But i could like I don't blame her for getting out of there, but leaving your child behind is... Yeah. Yikes.
Speaker: Was the dad an alpha? Do we know? Dad's an alpha. Alpha And once she got again once he got another omega, he dumped his kid off to his mom.
Speaker: So Heesung was living with his grandma until his second year of high school or she dot when she died. course. and And so they had a funeral. And so he saw his dad for like the first time in a while.
Speaker: And I totally skipped over something.
Speaker: Oh my God. i was like, why am I talking about his dad right now? I'm gonna finish this thought. So his dad made weird comments. Like you're looking a lot like your mother. So he dropped out of school and he left home.
Speaker: So we got that little bit of a backstory. The reason why we got a backstory, and this is my point I missed. He was actually having dinner with Dujian and he ran into his dad, but he didn't want his dad to see him.
Speaker: But like that trauma response, so then Dujian quickly got him out of there and So as they're like in bed talking, having a tender moment, that's where we have the backstory. was like, why the hell am I jumping around? I missed something major here. I did. missed the trauma triggering part. My bad. know sometimes flashbacks just happen. So I was like, okay, that's fine. Yeah, I was like, okay, wait. There has to be like something that triggered this. But
Speaker: he he did tell Dujian this while they were in bed. And Dujian, he wanted He wants his omega to stay with him. And he was like, okay, I need to find the time to ask him and stuff.
Speaker: Like, you know, this is really cozy. This is what want in life.
Speaker: Well, they kind of get it on a little.
Speaker: And his water breaks.
Speaker: To be fair, he's sent someone that started it and he was just like, you are doing like three weeks. We should not be doing this. And they haven't done or do we know? Have they done it like the whole time he's been pregnant or just literally from when he was pregnant?
Speaker: And then we when he was pregnant till now. And they did say that male omegas like the pregnancy is shorter. It's shorter and you don't show as much. Okay. Yeah.
Speaker: I remember how tiny he is. You could definitely tell. Okay. I remember that from this one. Cause is one of the early ones I read, like I said. And so I had that in my head and then I feel like almost everything I've read after that, like they have normal gestation and most of them, they do get good size bellies.
Speaker: Yeah. Like it's like a normal pregnancy. So this one, it was interesting. Cause I was like, Oh my gosh, I forgot. That's, That makes more sense, like their terms and whatnot, but would make... I feel like a lot of other universes just went away from that, so... Well... Their tender room is ruined because his water broke, so now he's in the hospital screaming and pulling out hair because he's going into labor. This is like the most you will really see.
Speaker: of like any pregnancy because it wasn't a cesarean. They didn't show pushing the baby out or anything, but it was like the whole pregnancy scene of I fucking hate you. I'm going kill you. tellg you on hair. And they're like, okay, one final push. They did show.
Speaker: they did show the umbilical cord cutting. Oh, shit. and and I can never do that. I was like, wait, what? It feels like I just read it for the first time. Yeah.
Speaker: but yeah The nurse is like, do you want to cut the umbilical cord? Did they show him cutting the baby's umbilical cord? Wow, I'm surprised I don't remember that because I haven't seen that in anything else. Like, maybe it's just a coincidence. I think I've told you I just keep reading them where the baby just happens and they're like, oh, no you must be magic like I feel like in anything else he would have passed out when his water broke and then...
Speaker: Here's your baby. like Oh my gosh. But no, like he's over here, like literally going to labor. and then next thing you know baby's out. And then they're like, oh, the umbilical cord. I'm like, holy shit. It was not a C-section. And it wasn't like, like you said, passing out and then baby. was like, no, you get an actual like pregnancy scene.
Speaker: So that was just really interesting. But doioning it he didn't get to ask him. He didn't get to have his conversation about him staying. um, Haesung didn't even look at his baby.
Speaker: He's like, I don't even want to look at him. Get me out of here. And so, you know, Kujang goes, clears his mind.
Speaker: He comes back in the room. Haesung's missing. And that was the end of season one. Wow. Yeah. well yeah that What a great way to end a season, right? Yeah, that is a cliffhanger.
Speaker: I am going to dive into season two real quick. It's going to be a lot quicker than that because not that much world building. I've been holding it in. i guess So when I first read this, was reading it on a website that had comments. And I remember everyone being so pissed off Yisung for leaving.
Speaker: And I feel like I was the only person who was like, he it's his contract. He said he was going to leave. He's never lied. he's He never changed his story just because dumbass over here all of a sudden you know didn't ever want to keep his word.
Speaker: And yes, I know the baby's fucking cute. He still, he didn't want to be an omega. He didn't want to have sex. He didn't want to get pregnant. He didn't want to go through with having the baby. And he didn't want to raise the baby.
Speaker: He did no wrong. I stand by it. Yeah, he stood on business and he left. Like, I don't know why everyone's surprised because he he freaked out when Dujian brought baby shoes for him.

Speaker: is going this far to, like, protect Byo and Ujin and separate Hasell is... It's a lot. It's devotion. And a lot sass. So, he actually contacts someone. They didn't tell us who at first.
Speaker: For money. So, he he gets money for the passport. and He's like, you know what? We're going get you out of here. And... He's just like... He's just like...
Speaker: really like trying to like just wash his hands like if dujan doesn't know this we're good but then poor baby boy goes into heat and he's like the doctor said i shouldn't go into heat at least six months a year after pregnancy so he's like not doing okay what the fuck is beta gonna do He can't fucking help me. He's even like, no, you are staying in that room. i can't help you. I'm a fucking beta.

Speaker: Oh my god. Okay. He cuts his hair, but actually he was going on a stroll. He went on a stroll to a park. Okay. To reminisce, like, oh, this is last time I'm gonna be here, da da da.

Speaker: so Hesong is hiding behind a tree and he's like, oh, he's actually taking hair of the baby. He didn't abandon him. he didn't give him away, da-da-da. Motherfucker just got out of heat and cannot contain his pheromones.
Speaker: Of course Yujin's gonna smell him. And then he, like, tries running because he's like, what the fuck? Like, this isn't supposed to happen. I'm, like, supposed to be leaving and all.
Speaker: And then Yul starts crying, so Dujin stops and then for some reason our sweet Omega that also stops.
Speaker: And I'm like, you know, that that's a perfect opportunity to actually like keep going. But, you know, because he stops, he got caught. And then the next scene is him and Hesul on their knees as Dujin's lecturing them for lying to him and everything. And so he's like, so he's been safe this whole fucking time.
Speaker: My own friend, my own close friend, the person I trust the most, hid him from me. And you were going to ship him off?
Speaker: And it's just like, well, yeah, you're kind of dumb. i don't know what to tell you. Like, sorry, but i I'm just doing this for you. And...
Speaker: Let's just say they have some- they talk. Lies got revealed. Naturally, they fuck. They fuck a lot.
Speaker: Where's baby? Oh, he's with the liar. He's with the baby. Oh, okay. Immediately just lets the liar take the baby. Okay. Yeah, yeah right? The person you trust to the most who kidnapped your Omega, basically. Well, didn't kidnap him. He went willingly.
Speaker: True. I'm sure the baby will go willingly too. Literally. well he does something that you should never fucking do. As he's fucking, he tells Heesung that he loves him.

Speaker: Be so for real. Anyways, Asan gets the fuck out of there still. Oh, mind you, he didn't take the money. Oh, yeah. So, he's still fucking broke. He's out on the streets again. Scumbag from episode one makes a reappearance. And he's like, ah sucks that you are and or in alpha because you're still really pretty and all. And he's like, actually, turns out Omega, do you want to fuck?
Speaker: And so they go to a hotel room. Because, you know, he's just like over life right now. he He can't get wet. And he actually throws up while trying to have sex with this guy. This guy's like, what the fuck? You're bonded?
Speaker: He's like, what the fuck do you mean I'm bonded? No, I'm not. Just fucking fuck me. He's like, no, I'm not into that. So this is how we find out he's bonded. Wow. Yeah. They're dumbasses.
Speaker: Are they going to explain? Because, like, how do you not know? They didn't know. They didn't know they bonded. Okay. So... is it just this universe doesn't have, like, a clear, like, bite and, like... certain Like... See, they didn't bite or anything because both parties did not know they were bonded. Okay.
Speaker: It wasn't until, um... He tried to have sex with someone else. Yeah. And then... wow Of course another mega's like, what the fuck, are you bonded? Like...
Speaker: How you guys not know this? But it makes sense of why Dujian was like really obsessive and possessive. Yeah. um Excuse me.
Speaker: Oh my gosh. It doesn't want me to talk about him. That's actually why he's been really tired. it wasn't because of It wasn't just because he's a single father taking care of a baby. It's because if once they're bonded, they can't be away from each other for too long. They could literally die. Yeah.

Speaker: Like, that was, like, really poor writing. Like, literally, it goes from him almost having sex with a stranger, finding out he's bonded, telling him apparently we're bonded, they get lovey-dovey.
Speaker: He's just like, alright, we're bonded. Yeah. Literally, like, the next- Like, that's all it took? I'm like, dude, what the the not the mommy. Yeah. And so, go meet the parents, because, um, Dujim was is gonna meet- go tell his family.
Speaker: Like, after Heesong left, he's like, you know what, I can't keep hiding this. He made his choice. He didn't want stay. I'm going to go tell him I have a baby. Well, Heesung's back. So now Heesung's going to go meet the baby.
Speaker: Not the baby. The family with the baby. ah There's mixed reactions. And they're like, damn, we said free to get Omega. Not Omega and a baby. And the dad is not happy at all.
Speaker: The rest of the family is like, oh my god, what cute baby. But the dad? Not having it. So... They're talking about like his past and everything. They're like, he didn't even graduate high school. He, you know, is a recessive, dah, dah, dah.
Speaker: And Dujian actually, at least he's like, dude, I don't fucking care. I'm not asking you guys for permission. i'm telling you guys what happened. I don't care. I don't care what you guys think.
Speaker: And I'm like, you know what? That's like the one thing I will... At least you didn't submit to your family. Yeah. Because the whole family is like, why the fuck did you just submit us? You don't even talk to us during holidays.
Speaker: Because the whole family is like dominant alphas and omegas? Dominant alphas, the only omegas is a mom. But they love omegas. The mom's a that guy, right?

Speaker: with that being said, you know, they leave and Dujins was all like, we're gonna have you finish high school and college. Fuck my family.
Speaker: Will you marry me? And he pops. He goes down to Wendy and proposes. That's the end of season two. I'm like, what the fuck? So you go to meet the family and you're like, I don't fucking care what you guys think.
Speaker: I have a baby and this is my man. Yeah, he's a high school dropout. But like, I'm gonna still marry him. And like the dad's just like not happy. Wow.
Speaker: Wait, so was this more than two seasons then? Oh my gosh. I thought it was two seasons. I thought it was only two seasons. But was like, oh, there's more. I think what happens is the next season is shorter and then it starts going into lot the side stories. Okay. I remember there being a lot of the side stories. and know this Yeah.
Speaker: So the next part is just like more of the side stories. But that's like the end of like officially like... where I said season two, fine.
Speaker: I'm like, perfect. And then season two. And then like the rest are just like side stories. And though interesting it was really hard to like reread it because I was like, wait, where's season three? Because it said like side story. like da-aah And
Speaker: but so there isn't? Wait, there is or there isn't season three? The way that it was written, in technically, that's, like, season two, and the rest is just side stories. Okay.
Speaker: Yeah. Which is really interesting, because, like, the next, like, little block, it is... I'm not gonna get too much into it, but they do dive into, like, that family dynamic more. Yeah.
Speaker: And then, after that, is, like, some of... Since we opened up like the can of worms to the family, then you get some of the other side stories. So it's interesting that's how they broke it up. Because it said end of season two.
Speaker: And I never got end of season three. It was like end of um and of side stories part one. Oh, interesting. Okay. So I'm like, okay.
Speaker: um It's really interesting because it's all black and white, but there are some colored panels. That's right. And they don't they kind of increase, right? As the story goes on, you get more and more colored panels? You get more and more colored panels, but it's never fully colored. Okay. and sometimes they'll be like at the beginning or just like in the middle. So it's just like... Wasn't that often during sex scenes?
Speaker: Yeah. yeah Yeah. They know where to put their time and money. so I'm like, you know what? right They know what we want. Yeah, I did forget about that. I think because I've read the more recent stories more recently. And I think those definitely the newest one is All in Color.
Speaker: Yeah, think around when... was so I haven't been into Manwa too, too long. I mean, it's been a few years now, but like not a long time. Is that just how Manwa used to be? Like it used to be more in black and white?
Speaker: I think so. Because, like, my first was BJ Alex, and that was black and white. That one was black and white. Search towards you, start off black and white. This one, black and white with, like, pops of color. Search toward you. Oh, both of them had that, too.
Speaker: yeah Yeah. Alex and search toward you. I'm trying to think about other ones. because And that's, like, when, like, so BJ Alex was my first. That's kind of when I entered the scenes. I wonder if there were more like that. think what happened was a few stories got really popular just being fully colored, and people really liked it. So then they they started pushing for that difference. Hey, if anyone knows, let us know. Yeah, let us you want to know this too.
Speaker: Because I've noticed that with manhwa, that's how you can really tell them apart is most of them are colored. Yeah. Especially everything coming out now, it's colored. Everything is, yeah. A lot of older ones as they're getting started wasn't. So that's where I would get confused if it was a manga or manhwa. And then i was like, oh, wait, their name.
Speaker: That's Korean. That's not Japanese name. Yeah. Yeah. Because, yeah. And, like, a lot of, like, the earlier ones, like, had very simple coloring, too. Whereas now you're over here, like... Yeah. I couldn't see my reflection in your sweat.

And even like a lot of stories that have been ongoing for a long time, even if they were always in color, when you look at chapter one versus chapter 90, the art is like, wow, you are now making like, you always had nice art. Now all of a sudden you're making like masterpiece pieces in every panel. Yeah, they're literally rendering like to the gods. So it's just really interesting. And like with their newest addition to this universe, because it's all in color.
Speaker: it makes I feel like it makes it kind builds to a story more because as we get into the side stories for this series i was like oh right that's how that's how the beta looks like that's such a cute color on you yeah where I think that's also one reason why I didn't enjoy it too much because with it being all black and white omega really just looks like a fucking child Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, he still does even to today. but Yeah, he does. and No, definitely more. um But it does me realize that the character designs are good in this series because even when it was black and white, I don't recall characters like looking too similar to each other. No. Sometimes that happens in stories where without color, you're like, they all look the same. um but yeah Even the family, like you can tell there's difference.
Speaker: Yeah. like I even think they say the brothers look alike. and I'm like, really? The brothers don't look too much alike. No, because Hisu, he borrowed money from Dujin's brother. i was like, who the fuck is this guy? Because they didn't really want to introduce him.
Speaker: But it wasn't like, oh, this is a clone. I'm like, oh, okay. Like, it could have been a cousin, but no, it's an older brother. So I did enjoy that. um I did forget how fucking cringey it was.
Speaker: Because of all the Delulu, but we all start somewhere. Yeah. And honestly, adds to the character. Like, he sticks with it.
Speaker: He is still this delusional,
Speaker: lovable turd. Yeah. that's That's the best way can put it. So, it's a very, like, simple story setup. Like, you don't, like, get too deep into it. Like, yeah, they have some darker themes, like,
Speaker: how his mom left him and stuff. I know we'll talk more about the side stories in our next episode, but it's... It's like scratching the surface. It doesn't, like, dive in like some other series you're like... Yeah.
Speaker: Okay. I remember also one, i remember, like, enjoying the side stories much more than the main story. um But also I think just... It's interesting because, you know, I haven't read this in such a long time and it really is a pretty simple story, very basic. Like everything you say, you're like, oh, I've read that in another one. you know This one probably came first. Those ones, you know, may have come after. Like I said, Blueprint.
Speaker: Yeah, Blueprint. But then still, it's still built such a universe. Maybe it's just because I read it so early on, I felt like I learned so much. And I think they do get into just so many more things in the side stories. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: And think this is kind of what first based my view, even though it wasn't my first Omegaverse, it was what I kind of based my view of the whole Omegaverse on. Yeah, they did a really good job because as we dive in deeper, they're going to show us different dynamics with the secondary genders. um There's just a lot more to dive in that they did do really good job world building. The only thing I wish they explained more was a whole bonding thing, because Surprise bonded.
Speaker: Yeah. Like, I know things are different. and Does it ever say at what point they bonded or anything? Not really. Okay. It's probably one of the side stories.
Speaker: Actually. I don't remember it but, like, I forgot a lot. They do end getting married eventually. Sorry, spoiler for the side story. But I'm trying to about it. Surprise, surprise.
Speaker: baby, now marriage? They had a cute baby and they get married, wow. But yeah, they just, that's one thing they didn't really dive in too deep on. But I did like how they had one, the pheromone, like he was able to pinpoint a scent.
Speaker: Yeah. it And then, oh, actually, since he was able to specifically pinpoint a scent, they were probably bonded really early on. Oh, yeah. Well,
Speaker: But the scent, did it happen before or was it it was after the baby was born though, right? It was while he was pregnant. Oh. Yeah. Because he was like, oh yeah, you have like, you smell like peaches.
Speaker: And then afterwards he was able to, like after baby was born, when he, they, he found him at the park, hiding behind a tree. Because he's able to smell him. Because he has a very specific scent. I'm like, maybe his scent very specific because they were bonded.
Speaker: Maybe. I have a feeling when they were sleep-bucking, that's when the bond happened. Yeah. Or maybe when they nodded, even though they didn't make a baby, they grunted instead.
Speaker: Yeah, that's true. yeah i'm I'm thinking back of the side stories, but... from I would say it is interesting so i feel like in most universes they at least have a choice in being bonded.
Speaker: Like it's a big decision. A lot of like, I feel like so many people. There's a mark. Yeah. Like I've never seen where they like accidentally bit someone, but I could see that happening. I'm sure it has happened.
Speaker: Oh, okay. All right. But, um, ah right but um But yeah, I've never seen where they're just like, oh, I guess we're bonded. Yeah, where they don't know that they're bonded until like they can't fuck anyone else.
Speaker: Yeah, like it's kind of like they don't have a choice. I mean, I'm sure that you can get into it's probably some kind of like soulmates type situation. but and this is like, since we were saying this is like basically the blueprint for us for Mega Versus, it's really nice that they did show the repercussions of what happens if you go against a bond.
Speaker: yeah Because that's where... and That's how I know Omegaverse. Once you bond, you can't be with anyone else. Or if you do get these reactions. Whereas nowadays, bonding isn't as much. But... Yeah, I feel like so often bonding is like an end of a story. Oh, they bonded. So we don't get the... you know When they're trying to get away. And we definitely don't get bonded pairs trying to fuck other people and stuff. Yeah. And how like really it really impacts...
Speaker: the whole secondary gender one where I do have one that you should read that dives in with a yeah someone bonded and got away kind of oh interesting yeah either say this cover it someday tell me all about it it's a great universe but yeah well that was a lot for two seasons I still have like so many notes but we're gonna stop it there because from here on out it's gonna kind of conclude their story And then get into the side stories, which I really like how it's done.

I can't wait to hear what happens. like said I've read it, but a lot of the stuff I was like, I don't remember any of that, so happy to hear it again. Having a fucking beta help you with your heat? Crazy. I don't know how I forgot that.

Speaker: He's, like, yeah, him and Heesung, they had such a funny fucking dynamic, because they would, like, yeah throw insults at each other yeah back and forth.
Speaker: And I'm like, you are one feisty beta. Mm-hmm. Like, holy shit. Especially for being, like, submissive in, like, a submissive role. Yeah. But then, yeah, he's feisty and unhinged.
Speaker: And I'm like, I love it. And then just, it definitely added another layer to the story that was really, it was really well done. I will give them that. Like, for a beta as well, normally betas are just NPCs.
Speaker: Yeah. And I just discard them later. i feel like Beta Bestie is going to be like a thing that we use, but I do like in this series, Beta Bestie and maybe other Beta Bestie actually do get story and character development and they're not just there.
