In this episode I am going to ask you a lot of questions I was asking myself. Not the typical questions people normally ask you on a day to day basis. This will probably make you question some things about yourself and your life in a good way! I hope you enjoy :)

Introduction to Self-Reflection and Growth

00:00:00
Speaker
Yo, what is up? Welcome back to the podcast. I'm really excited about this episode. The reason why I'm excited is because this is going to be about you. I'm going to ask you some questions that might be a little bit uncomfortable. And the reason why I want to ask these questions
00:00:24
Speaker
is because I was just in the gym and I was literally mid set listening to Zach Bryan. I don't know if you've heard this guy or not, but I highly suggest it. And I was just thinking about my life and I started getting like a little bit emotional and I was like asking myself these questions and I was like a little bit grateful, but then I was also like, Hey, like,
00:00:47
Speaker
I'm not gonna say the questions, but these are the questions that I was asking myself, okay?

Living to Full Potential: Challenges and Comfort Zones

00:00:54
Speaker
Are you living your full potential? Think about that for a minute. Are you living your full potential? Is there things that you could be doing more to make you feel like a better person? Now, living your full potential, like what does that even mean? For me, living my full potential
00:01:17
Speaker
means doing things that I know that are going to challenge me step outside my comfort zone to try new things and always be leveling up my life and get to a point where I feel satisfied and that could be anything like doing a fitness challenge where like you you know you do a long fitness challenge and you complete it and you're like
00:01:43
Speaker
Fuck yeah, I did that shit. We're out here. We're out here grinding. We feel great. Another question is, can you live a better life? Is the life that you're living right now good? Is it? Think about it. Could it be better? It could always be better. I feel like people just get set in a life.
00:02:10
Speaker
and they get okay with it and they get comfortable with it and they stay there for the rest of their life. And that is okay. Trust me. Trust me. Some people like that. Not this guy, not this guy. I don't like to just stay in one place. I want to, I want to grow as an individual. I want to learn more about myself. I want more new experiences. I want to test myself mentally, physically, and emotionally.
00:02:41
Speaker
So like I always know that I could be living a better life and you should never get comfortable with what you're doing.

Career Changes and New Ventures

00:02:49
Speaker
And I know this for a fact is because I, you know, I left my, I left my job on nine to five and what I've been doing for the last year and a half lately I've been getting a little comfortable. I'm like, Oh, okay. Like this, this is what I'm doing now. But I recently started asking myself,
00:03:10
Speaker
Well, why aren't you doing more? You have a lot of time on your hands. Why don't you be doing something else with your time? So I was getting like a little bit comfortable, you know what I mean? So like, I know that I need to step outside my comfort zone.
00:03:25
Speaker
And the thing that I'm going to start doing, crazy enough, I was just talking about it today, is starting to do in-person boot camps, maybe do some personal training. Because I do like helping people. And why am I not doing this? I do have time. So as much as I'm scared to do that,
00:03:44
Speaker
I'm going to do it because I know that I'm going to build some good relationships. I'm going to help people along the way. And maybe I might love it. Maybe not. But like I know that I'm thinking about it. I know that I could be doing it. But why am I not doing it? Right.

Impact of Bad Habits and Autopilot Living

00:04:00
Speaker
Another question is, are there bad habits that you are doing and you know that it's bad, but you still do it anyways? And we are all all of us are guilty for this.
00:04:14
Speaker
could be like you're just eating candy, but like eating an excessive amount of candy, smoking, vaping, what drinking, whatever it is, like we know it's not good for us, but we still do it anyways. Now for me, I think my bad habit is maybe drinking.
00:04:37
Speaker
And I'll go like a couple months without touching alcohol, but then when I do, I go way too hard. And I'm like, I always question myself like, why do you need to drink this much? And I find that when I drink that much, you know, you feel like shit and you make bad decisions and you spend a lot of money. You know what I mean? It's just, it's just not good for my life.
00:05:05
Speaker
No, I get it. We got to go out sometimes. We got to get a little crazy, but like, I just know every single time that I go drinking for no reason, the next day I'm like, why did I just do that? Like, why did I just do that? I'm going to feel here for like two days now. You know what I mean? But we all have our bad habits that we continue to do. We know it's bad and we still do it. Okay. Another question. Do you feel like your life is on autopilot?
00:05:35
Speaker
I'm gonna read that again. Do you feel like your life is on autopilot? A lot of us go through our life every single day and we do things mindlessly. We just go to work, get up, warm cock goes off, we go to work, clock in, clock out, go home, eat supper, go to bed. And your life is just like, it's just the same all of the time. And a lot of us are not really present.
00:06:05
Speaker
A lot of us spend a lot of time on social media. We go home. We throw on Netflix. We watch Netflix for two hours. We go to bed. We're not even really using our brain. We're not even really like, just think about that for a second. You just go to work. You do the same task every single day. You go on social media. You eat your supper. You watch a movie and your brain is just on autopilot and you're doing the same thing all of the time. Trust me. I love a good movie.
00:06:34
Speaker
And I like to scroll to the social media, but like when we're doing this constantly and we're not trying new things and we're not changing things up in our life and having new experiences and meeting new people, your life is just going to be on autopilot and you're going to do the same shit for 10 years. And then 10 years are going to go by and you say, Oh my God, what did I do with the last 10 years?
00:06:58
Speaker
I don't want to live that life and I'm not going to live that life. That's why I'm always trying to test myself. That's why I'm always trying to step outside of my comfort zone and just just grow. I just want to expand my mind. I want to try new things. I want to live the best life possible. I don't want to be on autopilot.

Dreaming of a Better Life and Taking Risks

00:07:21
Speaker
Next question. Do you want more out of your life?
00:07:26
Speaker
but you are just stuck daydreaming about it. Now that's a big one. That one hits home for me because for years, for years, I remember even like three, maybe three years before I went on Big Brother, I was always working in the oil fields and these jobs and
00:07:48
Speaker
I'd always be dreaming about this life that I wanted. And I just didn't know what to do. And I never took any action to change it. And I was just stuck in these jobs that I did not like. Money was great. Don't get me wrong. Money was great. And who doesn't love money? But was it worth it though? Was it worth all of those hours doing a job that I didn't really like having my time taken from me just for some money?
00:08:19
Speaker
Money comes and goes, trust me. So I was just always dreaming about this life that I wanted. Finally when I'm big brother, what happened after big brother? Nothing really. I just took some time off and then I went right back to that job again. So fast forward to now, I finally took action to try to change something.
00:08:42
Speaker
try to do something different, something that I'm probably good at. And I always knew that I had a lot of skills that I could probably apply to something. I just didn't know what it was. And then that's when Michael Simon and Eons came along and I just started doing the whole social media thing and I love doing that. It doesn't seem like work to me. And a lot of us will be stuck daydreaming about something that we think that we should do
00:09:11
Speaker
but we're just too scared to take action and do it. I'm in that boat. I'm honestly in the boat, the same boat right now. I would love to go down to Costa Rica and go down there and just work, get an Airbnb, try it out, maybe move there. I don't know.
00:09:30
Speaker
But I'm also really scared to do that. And I've been thinking about it for a while, but I'm like, do I really wanna do that? I'm not sure. What if it doesn't work? Like all the same questions and the voice that was in my head when I was thinking about leaving my nine to five to what I was doing is what I'm having now about going to Costa Rica. The whole point of this is you just need to do it because you are going to figure it out no matter what.
00:09:59
Speaker
When you're put in a situation where you need to succeed, you're going to succeed. And if you fail, what's the worst that could happen? If you leave your job and go try something else, what's the worst that can happen? Most likely, those jobs are still going to be there. What I know about all of these big companies is they don't really give a fuck about anybody. You're just a number, you bring in money for them, and they don't really care about you. And you're replaceable.
00:10:30
Speaker
If you were to die tomorrow, you're going to be replaced. So I'm sure that they would take you back or another company would take you back. Another question, do you feel stuck and you just don't know how to escape?

Overcoming Stagnation: Learning and Opportunities

00:10:45
Speaker
Maybe you're in a job that like you're just living paycheck to paycheck. You just feel stuck, but you want something more, but you just don't know how to get there.
00:10:56
Speaker
Now, most people will feel stuck. They'll talk about it. They'll want a different life, but then they just don't do anything. They just keep doing the same shit. They keep spending their money on same nonsense as not bringing any value to their life. We have YouTube. We have podcasts. There's so many ways that you can learn things and probably make money. For example, if you're just say you're into gaming, right? And maybe you're really good at it.
00:11:26
Speaker
There are literally people that are gaming right now and making a lot of money just from streaming. We are living in a different world nowadays and there are so many ways to make money besides waking up, going to work for 12 hours and then coming home. You can make money doing anything. You just have to go do it.
00:11:47
Speaker
And trust me, I get it because I spent so many years of my life just wanting more and feeling stuck and didn't know how to leave and thought I needed to make this amount of money to survive. And I was like, oh, I can't leave. I can't leave my hundred thousand dollar job. This is the scariest thing in my life because it is. It is a serious thing. You're comfortable. You have this comfortable paycheck coming in.
00:12:17
Speaker
But trust me, I'm here now, I'm not making as much money as I was, but I'm a lot more happier, and I'm making it work, and I'm working with multiple companies, and there's different sources of income coming in, and I know that I'm gonna continue to do that, and I know I'm gonna continue to grow and expand, and have more partnerships with more companies, and I'm gonna get to a point in my life where I could sit back and be like, holy shit, look what I just done.
00:12:46
Speaker
I'm making the same amount of money doing something that I absolutely love. And I never thought I could do that ever because I listened to the voice in my head. And we always are victims to the voice in our head. We listen to it too much. And trust me, when you listen to that voice in your head and you get stuck listening to it, it'll take over your life. You'll miss out on so many opportunities and
00:13:17
Speaker
You just trust me. You gotta get in control of that voice in your head, because when you do, you start taking action, you start doing, start listening to your gut once in a while, because we all want to do stuff. We want to listen to our gut, but then that voice in your head comes around and you just don't do it. When you think about it, think about it for a very long time, but you just never do it.

Introspection on Happiness and Satisfaction

00:13:44
Speaker
Now this is a serious question, okay?
00:13:48
Speaker
Are you happy? Seriously, are you truly happy with yourself? Are you happy with your life that you have? Are you happy with your husband or your wife, your partner? Are you really happy? And that's a hard one. Honestly, that's a hard one because nobody asked that. They said, oh, how are you doing? Oh, I'm good. Yeah. But like, are you really though?
00:14:13
Speaker
Are you truly happy with your life? Is there something that you could be doing differently? Maybe you, maybe you're in a bad relationship. I don't know. And you're just, you feel like you're stuck in it and you have to stay there and you're just truly unhappy. And like, there's a lot of people that will be with the wrong people for many, many fucking years. I'm swearing because I just, I see it, right?
00:14:41
Speaker
There's so many people out there that are with the wrong people and their life just goes by and they just live an unhappy fucking life. Man, don't do that. You have the option. You have the option. You can work on it. You can go to therapy. You can leave the person. Like there's, there's a lot of things that you can do, but like at the end of the day, you're going to make sure that you are truly happy. And I would not for a second give up your happiness for somebody else. And if you are.
00:15:11
Speaker
you gotta ask yourself, am I happy? Is this what I want for the rest of my life? Listen, and then something I wanna bring up is like,
00:15:23
Speaker
If we do reach that happiness, just say we're working on ourselves and we're doing all the things that we need to do to keep our mental health in check, you're stepping outside your comfort zone, you're experiencing all these new things and you're really, truly happy.

Maintaining Happiness: Habits and Practices

00:15:42
Speaker
When we reach that level of happiness, why don't we stay there? That's the question. Because I don't know how many times in my life where I was really,
00:15:52
Speaker
honestly, truly happy. Everything was just working out in my life. And then all of a sudden you just go down into this rut and you don't know what's going on. You're like old patterns are coming back. Old thought patterns. You're starting to be having anxiety again. And it's just that happiness goes away. Now what I know, and I know this for a fucking fact is when
00:16:21
Speaker
I am doing everything in my life like journaling, meditating, cold plunging, working out, eating right, not like not drinking a lot. Um, just doing all the things that's going to make me feel fucking great, right? Keeping my mind fresh, keeping my body fresh, playing sports, going for runs, doing things that I love.
00:16:49
Speaker
When I'm really happy and I keep doing that and I get to this point where I'm like, fuck yeah. If I take my foot off the gas and I slow down a little bit and I stopped doing those things because I think I'm at a point where at my life where I'm okay. Guess what? Over time, over time, not right away, but over time I start to notice that old patterns will start coming up again and I'll start thinking a certain way again.
00:17:19
Speaker
And I don't feel as good as what I used to again. And then a month goes by and I'm just doing the old same shit that I used to do before I started when I wanted to get better. And it's just a cycle, right?
00:17:34
Speaker
The most important thing that I know for a fact is when you're working on yourself and you're doing all the things to keep your mind healthy and right, you've got to just keep going. You got to keep that momentum going. And you've got to keep doing the things every single day that's going to keep your mind healthy, happy, peaceful, calm. So you can live your best fucking full potential, live your best life and just be happy. It's a vicious cycle, I'm telling you. The second you just take your foot off the gas,
00:18:05
Speaker
all patterns come back and then that old life comes back. So like you need to do a lot of things every day to just continue to grow as an individual, feel better, live a happier life. So you don't, you don't just live your life on autopilot. You need to try new things so you don't feel stuck. Listen,
00:18:29
Speaker
If you gotta go back and listen to this, actually, you know what? Here's the questions that I just asked you guys, and I'm gonna ask it again, and then we'll end it there, okay? Are you living your full potential? Can you live a better life? Are there some bad habits that you know are bad but you're still doing it? Do you feel like your life is just on autopilot, like you're just living like a zombie?
00:18:58
Speaker
Do you want more out of this life but you're just stuck all day long dreaming about it? Do you feel stuck but you just don't know how to escape? Are you happy? Seriously, are you happy?
00:19:15
Speaker
Anyways, guys, I hope you took something from this episode. Um, these are the things that I was just thinking about at the gym and I was honestly mid set listening to Zach Brian, like almost in tears crying. I mean, cause I started feeling a little grateful because I started thinking back of, of the life that I used to live and what I'm doing right now.
00:19:38
Speaker
And I was like, Oh, oh my God, like, I'm living a pretty good life. I'm not gonna lie. Like, I don't have a big mansion of a house, fancy cars and all this shit. But like, I'm living a pretty good life. And I was just very grateful in that moment. And I just love working for Michael Simon, because I know that we're just helping people every day and I'm having all these
00:20:02
Speaker
Conversations with people that have never even met before and like they're telling me about like how Microsoft has changed their life. And I just feel like I'm on a right mission of helping people. And I know that if we just keep helping one person one day at a time, this world is going to be a better place because there's a lot of people that's just going through it mentally.
00:20:25
Speaker
They're upset. They're not living their best lives. They are in the wrong relationships. They're working the wrong jobs. They're just stuck in their mind. They listen to the voice in their head. They're overthinking and get anxiety, depression, whatever it is.

The Role of Microdosing in Confidence and Opportunities

00:20:42
Speaker
And I went through all of that. I went through all of that.
00:20:47
Speaker
And I started micro dosing. I started listening to the guy who owned the micro sibem and he was just like guiding me to a better life. And here, here I am. I like, I literally wrote him and was like, dude, I'm so grateful, man. Like just thinking back on what I was doing a year ago and how I hated my job.
00:21:11
Speaker
I didn't want to be there. It was taken all the time. I was tired. I was exhausted. I wasn't sleeping right to where I am right now. It's because I met you and I was just so grateful in that moment and I'm going to be forever grateful. So that's why I love, that's why I love this because when you start micro dosing, I know, I know we got way off topic here.
00:21:37
Speaker
But anyways, when I just started microdosing, it's just expanded my mind to more opportunities. It gave me more confidence to do the things that I wanted to do. And then once I started just spreading the message about microcybin, like it just opened up more opportunities for me. My energy started to get better. My mental health started to get better. And when everything just was just better about me,
00:22:05
Speaker
There was more things coming to me. I was attracting more because people were like fuck It's got like whatever this guy's doing. I want it. You know what I mean? So anyways, um, I Hope you like this episode I was very excited to jump on here today and record this one because it makes you think and We don't ask ourselves these questions enough. I
00:22:33
Speaker
we just live on autopilot and we don't really think but like we could be living better lives you could be you could be living a better life um you just gotta go out and get it
00:22:47
Speaker
and create the life that you want.
