Definitely seated. One of the the episodes we did the pre-season, I did the predict the moment will finish in position number eight, which is still possible. But with the way we are playing this season so far, I think we can do better than eight.

Definitely. I couldn't I couldn't anticipate this kind of play this position being in the seventh on the table with only three points less than the fourth ranked one. And now with the chance as well to be able to play Europe next year, dreams are very big.

I was, I was scared to be honest with, with eight players being out, uh, due to the injuries. was scared. How are we going to carry on with the season? Obviously with, without two strikers, uh, with, with both being injured, then dango stepped in. Who's I I I've never seen since I saw football. ball I've never seen him playing a striker, right?

He came on first game, so-so, second game, so the third game, Haptrix. Bang. Unbelievable. And I really thought we were going to sign a striker um um and in this winter transfer period, which we did, the 18-year-old. But he did stay in FC Lorian alone till the end of the season. So yeah, we we we're pretty much the same. And we're going to have to play like this until the end of the season and see whatever that brings.

And, you know, coming up to the weekend, how you feeling about the game? Are you feeling like there's any sort of hope for us that you might look past us and and think that it's too easy and and have a bit of an on appeal or are you likely to take it quite seriously?

No game is too easy in Premier League, let's be honest. Any team can beat any team, especially since you've got a new coach. He seems to be doing better than than the previous one. Obviously, you had this run when, was it in 16 games? They only got two points, something like that. and So it was quite rough for Southampton. And it will be interesting to see what what the new coach will will bring till the end of the season. and You still got the chance to stay in the Premier League. Chances are low, but you still got the chance. theoretical Theoretically, it's possible.

they I think it's really interesting. I think your you've almost carbon copied what we did a few years ago when we we had a we had Nigel Adkins, really popular. The club made an unpopular decision to get rid of him, brought in some fellow from Spain that no one's ever heard of, up-brought the club, really upset that we've got rid of this good coach, and then all of a sudden he's just taken you to another level.

And it just seems, it's a really, yeah you know, from from our perspective, I'd say enjoy it because it's, you know, it's going to be a good few seasons.

it It does feel like a dream. I'm not going to lie. it's It does feel and as long as we can keep as many players and the coach, let's see how far we can get. Because anyway, Eroyal at the moment is punching above his weight. And just, everything feels like, I don't even know. It's when I, cause I go and watch every home game. And if I can, I go and watch a ways, but rarely. And Even at the home games, you know fans are not, let's say, they don't have too big expectations. like We know that we're going to do something. And we start the game with knowing that we're going to do something.

Even if we miss a chance or two, the fans don't get really disappointed because they know that the players won't stop until the end. And this is what I think carries the the whole team.

And are you feeling optimistic like that is going to be the case? oh Or but do you think that there's sort of a down blip in the season yet to come? How realistic are you you thinking European spots are at this point?

It's going to be tough. Again, depends on on the number of points, on the number of ah teams from the other leagues. Because last year, if I remember, we had eight sports in Premier League that were leading to the to the to the Europe. So with eight position playing in the conference. So even the conference would be a good start because Bournemouth never played any European competitions. Now, if we get qualified for the Europe, we definitely more need more more players. We need more depth in the squad and with the players at the moment, it's it's going to be really difficult you know to to be able to play the Premier League, the Cup and Europe. But I think things are looking good and to be honest with having to play, I think it's only Arsenal or City left. can say United as well for bigger teams.

How do you feel after after the last six games being defeated at home? How do you feel? about is it Is this seven lucky number going to be for you? Or what do you think that the game will bring?

i would have I would have been optimistic and thought that we might have got something out of this game had we beaten Burnley. I think it could have been a real springboard, to sort of at least just to scramble past the the points, the Derby record, and and maybe just to get a few points on the board and give a little bit of a little bit of a glimmer of hope. But unfortunately, the hope died pretty quickly. so Yeah i'm I'm not particularly confident it's not the best team you want to come into off the back of that and and I think it's not the fan base again if I'm honest from people I've spoken to.

And then looking at the last few teams on the table, like, you know, you can still get that 17 position, which, you know, will How do you stay in the league? We've seen everything. We've seen Leicester winning the league. Hello. So why not, you know? that's why I said about Buma this season. If we are where we are in 24 games, it's we might be able to play Europe. Why not? Why not now? Why why wait, you know? So anything anything is possible. things Things can turn around pretty easily. And to be honest with you, I think we're going to win, but

That is one thing I'd say. Yeah, looking at looking at our squad, I mean, we don't, one thing we actually can't really complain about touch wood is that we haven't really, other than Ramsdale, been hit too hard with injuries this year in a massive way. I know we've got a bit of an issue at Salabak at the moment, but actually looking at the team that I think we will have available, it's pretty much full strength back to it now. So it's given me a bit more cause for optimism, to be fair.

i've I first heard of Sulemano when he used to play in Ren and I remember that was yeah a couple of years ago I played FIFA and I got him, I don't know, from from a pack, whatever, open the pack, and then I started using him in a team. And he was quite quick, like, you know, it was all about pace players and all that. And no one could ever catch him, you know, and then obviously with the new FIFA, now you can upgrade the players and all that. And he's looking very good. So I think he might be your your key player, actually, Kamaldin Sulemana on the weekend. hey Hopefully you won't score first, you'll have to chase us. If the halftime

And a draw, nil, nil, second half will be definitely, you know, more interesting to watch. And and because, you know, you have nothing to lose. We, for Iraola, every game is important, no matter if if it's a cup or is it a Premier League game, even if we're playing the the last place, the team on the table, Iraola really takes things seriously. and um I think both teams will, if not from the start, the second half will give 100%. And this there surely will be goals.

We've been pretty lucky with with playing in the last scoring goals in the last 10 minutes and especially that comeback against Everton that no one will forget and then getting later in the season and three out of three against Everton winning wise. So yeah, definitely 2-1. So over 2.5 goals for the bookies and Bournemouth winning both teams scoring. So yeah, and I think Bruxy will score again.
