Introduction to the Podcast

00:00:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to the Daily Southampton, part of the Global Sports Podcast Network. My name is Greg Elliott and today joined by the full Southampton cohort, as always, good friend Oscar. are you doing?
00:00:23
Oscar
Yeah, not too bad, thanks.
00:00:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
And Zach, how are feeling?
00:00:27
Zak
Right. I mean, we didn't lose yesterday. We're recording directly the day after everything. So, like, that's a win, right?
00:00:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, we've got a short turnaround until our next game, but we don't need to go the full cycle of hope. The optimism remains, I think, from reasonably solid performance. And although a disappointing finish, still a point, which is more than we have achieved at home in what seems like an eternity.

Preview of Southampton vs. Tottenham Match

00:00:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
But we now look forward and cast our eyes to the weekend, where on Sunday we take a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face Spurs. And, yeah, it's going to be an interesting interesting one. it's so Do either of we have more to play for than them at this point now? Because No.
00:01:14
Zak
They're not fighting for Europe, are they? So they're not fighting to not get relegated. What are they fighting for? Ange's reputation? Well, that seems to be a big...
00:01:25
Oscar
Mate, they're definitely going to win a second a trophy this season. It's the second season, isn't it?
00:01:29
Oscar
Sorry.
00:01:30
Zak
Yeah, one of those like international ones that you get during the off-season, right? where
00:01:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm-hmm.
00:01:35
Zak
Where you and another team play each other twice or something like that. mean, that's got to be what their trophy cabinet's full of. I i know, i know. The last time I made this joke, I had Spurs fans kicking off me. Like, well, they're one of our most successful teams ever. And I'm like, yeah, and we used to be a staple of the Premier League. But unfortunately, times change.

Europa League Focus and Match Strategy

00:01:52
Oscar
think it's I think they've got the Europa League next week, so that probably does us bit of a favour because that is one of the few chances they still have to win silverware. And because he has said that, he's absolutely set himself up.
00:02:04
Oscar
So he's they've got to win that. I think it actually plays in our favour bit because they're playing tonight as well. So you'd like to think of the three games, they'd be thinking we should be the ones that are easy pickings, which I think plays into our favour a little bit.
00:02:17
Oscar
Because if we start, well, maybe not exactly like we did against Palace, but for let's say this after Benarek slip and get at them a little bit and we get the first goal, who knows? Because I think it could get seriously toxic in there.
00:02:31
Zak
yeah But I will also point out that they were the team but rosse on firered that That was the straw that broke the camel's back.
00:02:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:02:39
Zak
And then we went we went in to thinking, maybe, maybe we could do something. it And then within 25 minutes, it was it was all over. But maybe that means there's a little bit extra motivation to not go back and, you know, be really bad.
00:02:52
Zak
Who knows?

Unpredictability and Performance Analysis

00:02:52
Zak
It'll be an interesting one.
00:02:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it is really interesting. and I think it's really hard to predict based off of that because both teams this season, you have seen both sides of the coin.
00:03:00
Oscar
you
00:03:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
like We've seen performances from Saints, mostly in spots throughout the season, that have us feeling like we shouldn't be the worst team in Premier League history because we've played some decent football.
00:03:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
And it's the same with Spurs, where you just don't know which team you're going to get that show up. you know, they've had ranging everything from when they absolutely battered us and got Russell Martin fired to just absolutely woeful performances. So it's a really difficult one to predict going in, but that's, I guess, where the optimism remains strong, right?
00:03:39
Zak
you just got to make sure you triple captain the sun that day. Cause that's usually when seems to see, he's one of the ones that frequently scores a lot of goals against us. Right. Whenever he plays, uh,
00:03:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's
00:03:49
Oscar
I don't know if it's a good time to play them or not, but they've lost four out of their last five games. so Oh, sorry. Well, they're winless in four out of their last five. They beat AZ Alkmaar, but they lost to Man City, lost to AZ Alkmaar, drew with Bournemouth, beat AZ Alkmaar and then lost to Fulham on their last game.
00:04:06
Oscar
And who knows how they'll get on tonight. i don't mean you can They're both teams that are impossible to predict Chelsea and Tottenham, so you never know quite what you're going to get.
00:04:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's it certainly does make this sort of prediction based preview much harder to do, right? It's definitely the least I felt like I've known what's going to happen heading into a game all season, which is really interesting. I guess because normally we fit head into it feeling like we might get battered, but might put performance in, but But they this really feels, don't know, it could go either way from both teams.
00:04:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
<unk> I don't know.
00:04:45
Zak
All I'm pointing out is that you know pal Palace were above them before yesterday and after yesterday anyway. They're below Manchester United. They sit 14th. When we're looking at tap teams around us that are beatable, teams that we can take stuff away from, you know we we missed our big chance with Wolves.
00:05:03
Zak
We've still got

Southampton's Relegation Battle Strategy

00:05:03
Zak
a chance with Leicester towards the end of the season where maybe we can beat that record. But ultimately, it's probably, my opinion, one of the chances that we have of the remaining fixtures to do something, right?
00:05:21
Zak
but That's where I'm at. i don't know how you guys feel about it.
00:05:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's, yeah, I don't know. We've got get there to get the points. It might be the win that pushed us over. That would be exciting.
00:05:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
If we get a point, that is enough from these two games to not get us relegated this weekend, even if Wolves win. So that's something, right?
00:05:48
Zak
And then all you've got to do is win every single game until the end of the season. And Wolves and Ipswich and Leicester have to lose everything. Bear in mind that Ipswich got win the other day, like yesterday, right? So that's wild.
00:06:00
Zak
like We are really... but are really... Really struggle, Boston.
00:06:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:06:05
Zak
But again, it's it's one of the few remaining fixtures where I see us potentially getting anything out, right? i
00:06:13
Oscar
Yeah.
00:06:14
Zak
Everything else looks pretty, it's going to be pretty tough, especially towards the end of the season where we've got like a, I want to say like City and Arsenal within like a week of each other. So yeah, it'll be... I think you've hit the nail on the head, is it depends which teams turn up, right? Which I know that arguably that is football in general, but specifically Spurs and Southampton, that is that is very much like a is Is the Spurs that go out and win games going to turn up?
00:06:41
Zak
Or is it going to be the ones that absolutely bottle drop it? And are we going to show the fight we did yesterday? Or is the only reason that we showed that much fight because most of the players had about two weeks off and now that they've got to go back after two or three days, they're all going to be knackered.
00:06:55
Zak
So, swings and roundabouts, innit?
00:06:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, okay, well, we'll let's move the chat towards some predicted lineups.

Lineup Changes and Tactical Debates

00:07:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
But first, a message from our partners at Bionique.
00:07:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
Okay, and we are back. Okay, some predicted lineups. I guess I'll throw myself under the bus for a change. Obviously, with Flynn down suspended, that's sort of an enforced change.
00:08:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Other than that, I don't see us making many changes from the starting lineup Palace. I don't see any reason why we should. I guess an almost straight swap of bring a rebo in for downs and and stick how it is.
00:08:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oscar, how do how do you feel?
00:08:14
Oscar
Yeah, I'd agree. I've got the same pretty much. I think Ryan Manning as well came off with potentially a knock. So that might be another one to look at. He did say there was quite a bit of maybe a bit of cramp or a bit of tiredness at the end. So could that be a factor? I don't know, but i agree.
00:08:32
Oscar
Why change something that did work against the team that probably, well certainly on form are not as good as Palace but we know they've got the ability to do it when they want to but I agree why change it but does Juric agree is the question does is he just randomly going to change it and then go back to the 3-4-3 and you know I appreciate it's a bit of a nuance between 1 and a 2 or a 2 and a 1 but if it works stick with it in my opinion but I'm not sure you will
00:09:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, no, that is a concern I share. Zach, how are you feeling about it? Thinking much difference?
00:09:09
Zak
Yeah, I'm going to kind of in the same boat because it worked. and And I think that some of the things that changed it ultimately, once again, were the substitutions, which like I understand why we need to do them because you could see that I feel like Paul's legs were literally going to collapse towards the end of the game.
00:09:24
Zak
But it's difficult because, yeah, we're going to swap out, hopefully, downs for like a like-for-like with a re-bow. But...
00:09:34
Zak
yeah I worry that the positives will not be learned from this match again is iss but is my problem. And especially with, well, if Downs isn't here, maybe if I switch this and put this person to here, or maybe we'll just start Sigawara again.
00:09:46
Zak
And maybe we'll pivot Kyle Walker, who is back to the left. And it's like, like, but it it worked. It really did work. And I know there there are probably going to be some forced errors, forced changes at this point, right?
00:09:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:09:57
Zak
Again, like Downs is one of them. I don't know if Paul's going to make it on Sunday. So that means that it might be swapped out for Archer. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. But I wouldn't want to hugely change what seemed to work.
00:10:08
Oscar
should Could Jack Stevens do a role in there? I know we're not that keen on him playing out of position, but...
00:10:15
Zak
No, because that's that's how we ended up in this position in the first place, where like that was part of the Russell Martin issue, right? Was him cramming Stevens into everywhere. But then one of the things that we literally talked about yesterday was playing players in their correct position turned out to work.
00:10:29
Oscar
Yeah.
00:10:30
Oscar
No, I do agree.
00:10:30
Zak
So...
00:10:31
Zak
so
00:10:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
But Archer for toolpool's not a like-for-like swap, is it? if you're If you're making that swap, you also have to change the system, right?
00:10:35
Oscar
no
00:10:35
Zak
No, but it is a striker for a striker.
00:10:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
because
00:10:39
Oscar
When.
00:10:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
Because pull was such an out option and you don't have that with Archer unless you're trying to lump it further for him to run in behind and that's just not going to play out very often.
00:10:49
Zak
And that that's fine. But then if you're going to change the positions, play players that know how to play in those positions.
00:10:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:10:55
Oscar
yeah
00:10:55
Zak
that's That's where I'm at.
00:10:56
Zak
it's not It's not crowbar Stevens into the middle of the defensive mid or whatever. don't Don't do that. Just change change the system around to deal with the players that you have. And instead of trying to cram players that don't know how to do stuff into your system.
00:11:10
Zak
Because again, like we still had some silly mistakes and we played well yesterday. So if we try and do this thing where also playpu people are playing out position... it's It's not going to work. It never has.
00:11:20
Oscar
It's more that Stevens is fairly combative. I don't think he adds as much going forwards. And also, you then take him out of the back three, which I think was... They were pretty... Other than the the goal, they were pretty solid last night. is more that he is a bit closer to being that combative shield, centre midfielder than an Eribo.
00:11:39
Oscar
But I completely agree with what you're saying. like Maybe shoe-hawning people isn't a good idea. It's just about trying to find that balance, I think. I do also wonder with Tallpool... if he is running a bit low, could he do half?
00:11:51
Oscar
his How far away is Ross Stewart? I mean, he said he's, could he come on and do a 20 minutes when tall pool? Because that is what we need. I think we lost that.
00:11:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
He had a fresh injury setback, didn't he? I think he's out for at least another couple of weeks with that.
00:12:03
Oscar
I think he, well, I think he's training with the first team.
00:12:04
Zak
when was What that? He was training with him.
00:12:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think before the international break, I think before the international break, he had and a setback.
00:12:06
Oscar
Unless he's, unless he's had another one.
00:12:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't know about how long it was.
00:12:12
Oscar
Oh no, I think, so last week, I think he was spotted training with the first team. So he was back in training. And I think Juric said at the weekend he needs to make sure he's ready before he comes back.
00:12:24
Oscar
So it sounds like he's on the right way to do that.
00:12:25
Zak
I...
00:12:28
Oscar
And he is probably the only option we have as a like-for-like swap for Tallpaw if we can get him on the pitch, even for 10 minutes, when Paul's knackered.
00:12:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:12:36
Oscar
Because... That, I think, was a large contributing factor to why we struggled towards the end of the game yesterday. so then We just couldn't hold the ball up. We weren't getting it far enough over to be able to test Palace in behind.
00:12:48
Oscar
And, you know, as you said, we don't really have anyone else that can do that. Archers, probably the like for like for Suleymane as the other striker. So...
00:12:56
Zak
I feel like Wellington was the only substitution yesterday that that worked, in my opinion. But then that's not the fault of the players, or really. It's just that they got put into the positions they got into. And obviously, that the £100 million pound man was a little bit anonymous. wouldn't be surprised if all of the noise is starting to get to him a little bit.
00:13:14
Zak
it would It would me if I was like 18 years old and people are talking about me being worth £100 million.
00:13:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:13:20
Zak
quids
00:13:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:13:20
Zak
And then I go out there and suddenly...
00:13:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
But then hopefully that just goes some way to keeping him with us next season, to be honest.
00:13:26
Zak
Yeah, but you don't want it to go...
00:13:27
Zak
So, so ways that it could go down in my head are things like, do you remember when we had Broglie and he was scoring for fun and doing really, really well and he got distracted a little bit? And now where you look at him now where, like, he's still out on loan constantly, spending some of the season at Everson.
00:13:42
Zak
He went out with that, want to say, ACL early in the season, of up above either before or after the game against us, if I remember rightly.
00:13:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:13:49
Zak
and And that's kind of where my opinion is sort of that, is that, like... be careful because we know what it's like when we try and keep a player that's that's not wanting to be here.
00:13:59
Zak
And also if their performances drop with it, but really it's not really a great thing.
00:14:03
Oscar
did he say like Did he say why he took downs off? Because if it was for fitness, for me, he's got miss the next two games anyway. So...
00:14:11
Zak
I think it was probably just the yellow, if I'm totally honest.
00:14:12
Oscar
But even then, I appreciate...
00:14:14
Zak
I think that considering he's always guaranteed to get a yellow, don't want to risk him getting a red this late on if he's if he is going to play pivotal to the rest of our season.
00:14:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:14:16
Oscar
it Yeah...
00:14:24
Zak
And like again, if we play like we did yesterday for the rest of the season, that that would be just glorious. But obviously, he is now not going to be in those two games. And I feel like that if you got a red, that would be the end of the season, right?
00:14:34
Oscar
No.
00:14:37
Zak
That's his season pretty much over at that point.
00:14:39
Oscar
Does it add, it would have added one more match ban, so he would have had a three match rather than a two if he'd have got a red.
00:14:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:14:46
Zak
but Yeah, well da really it just depends what the red was for, right?
00:14:47
Oscar
Right, we've got straight red, yeah, that's fine.
00:14:49
Zak
yeah
00:14:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:14:51
Oscar
But you'd like to trust at least, surely you have a word, say, do not, you're on for the rest the game, you're missing that external rate, do not get sent off. That is your only job, do not get sent off.
00:15:02
Zak
Yeah, but at that point, he wouldn't commit to the tackles that they need him to commit to to be able to.
00:15:02
Oscar
Okay.
00:15:04
Oscar
Yeah, I suppose that's true.
00:15:06
Zak
So, like...
00:15:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:15:06
Zak
so like
00:15:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
Especially because we were forced to take a good trigger off, right? He was looking leggy and needed to come off, so...
00:15:14
Zak
But I think this is this is part of what we've we've discussed the whole rest of the season as well. is it see It's the the squad the squad balance, right? It's trying to get the balance right. But also, it's just the personnel that we have.
00:15:25
Zak
and the Half of them are here to play one way. Half of them are here to play another game another way. you You can't necessarily trust them all to play in the positions when we try and makeshift that out.
00:15:37
Zak
And it's it's it's difficult. It's really, really difficult to try. And, you know, but but we've had that we've had these issues... Every single game where, but substitutions specifically are one of them, but then also flip side of that, you can't not make the substitutions half the time.
00:15:50
Zak
That's what I wanted to yesterday. Realistically, what I wanted is that state the the the start 11 to stay on and see the game out. Because as Greg pointed out before, like i don't know what's going on with fitness in our squad, but none of our squad can usually make it past 60 minutes.
00:16:02
Zak
And then you're swapping out for everybody that are going upset the rhythm because, you know, as you pointed out, Archer isn't the same as Toolpool. Sulemano isn't the same as Dibling. So then everything is going to have to so tweak change slightly.
00:16:12
Zak
The only thing that really stays is is the defence. And even then, the problem is if the balls get lost more, they start having to put far more work in during the times that they are absolutely knackered.
00:16:23
Zak
So it's going to be difficult. And I really hope that, you know, not necessarily a philosophy, but like a style of football that that makes sense and that we have players that can play all of the different areas we require them to.
00:16:36
Zak
in the future is pretty much where I'm hoping we start to go to.
00:16:40
Oscar
yeah think is Yeah.
00:16:40
Zak
And that having a solid starting that can see out more than half a game is is is a wonderful thing to look forward to. And I think that's one of the things that causes issues.
00:16:52
Oscar
I think as well, just having a consistent shape now. I know we've said we don't want shoot on players into positions they can't play, etc. But we need to start We can't just keep flipping the formation from one week to the next to the next.
00:17:05
Oscar
Like it's just not getting any sort of consistency. At least this way, you know, we can make a starting 11 with players that play in sort of their right positions, maybe a slightly different role. But try and keep that consistency now is what I'd be saying. it'll Find something that works and stick with it for the rest of the season.
00:17:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.

are back. So, unenviable might have been the word I was looking for before the break. We got there eventually. So, who fancies it first? Zach, go on, I'm going to throw it at you.
00:18:14
Zak
I don't mind. Yeah, it's fine. the problem the problem is is usually I'll go, what does someone not want? What does either team not want? I know no draw probably.
00:18:23
Zak
However, I think that, uh, the point for us then puts us on tally with Derby, right? Which makes us the joint worst of all time, which is better than being the worst of all time.
00:18:34
Zak
Maybe we'll end in a similar situation. Let's go with we's go of one all again. I genuinely genuinely think like i think that maybe we'll be the ones to get the late goal this time around.
00:18:44
Zak
Obviously, I could be horrifically wrong, but i feel like for me, a draw where we actually score a goal is at this point an optimistic outlook.
00:18:54
Zak
And we managed it last game. Maybe we can manage it again. But... it will be interesting if Paul is out considering he is now our top goal scorer for the Premier League campaign, an actual striker, only with a tally of four.
00:19:08
Zak
However, still a striker with the at top amount of goals scored for our team.
00:19:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:19:15
Zak
So yeah, that's that's that's that's where I'm at.
00:19:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oscar, how do you see it playing out?
00:19:19
Oscar
Yeah, similar similar sort of vein. I think we've got to go we've got to go for this. like There's no point in sitting off and thinking, oh, Spurs are good. We've got to be really careful. We've got to go for it. I think there's there's something to build on. And I know every time we say that, we turn around and put in an absolute stinker of performance the next game.
00:19:36
Oscar
So, you know, maybe maybe I'm going to be optimistic again. i'm also also went for a draw. I went 2-2 and I know two goals is is unheard of, but, you know, two pools on fire.
00:19:50
Oscar
Two goals. Wow. Who would thought it from a Southampton player? So I'm going to say two pool scores again. I reckon we we go two one up and then we have a similar sort of last minute concede.
00:20:03
Oscar
Fernandes with the other one just because why not?
00:20:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
Okay.
00:20:07
Oscar
But 2-2.
00:20:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
like it. couple of draws. Well, this isn't going to come as a surprise to anyone, but I'm feeling, I'm buzzing off the optimism. think we're going to push on from solid performance and I'm feeling three new Three goals and a clean sheet.
00:20:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah The optimism's flying at it.
00:20:28
Zak
No.
00:20:29
Oscar
i want to I wonder what the odds are on that.
00:20:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:20:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:20:33
Zak
No.
00:20:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
Uh,
00:20:34
Zak
Who's scoring three goals, Greg?
00:20:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's got to be. Tallpool, Matty Fernandez and Taylor Harwood-Bellis with a header.
00:20:42
Zak
I cannot wait to see the team sheet and see that Tall Paul, unfortunately, is still collapsed on the floor and is unable to play.
00:20:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
Look, it's...
00:20:52
Zak
Because that is the news I'm expecting whenever there is a presser, if there is a presser.
00:20:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
Look, it's... it' It's normal for Tallpool to look leggy that late into a game. We know this. It shouldn't come as a surprise, but he's going to go on and he's going to come back and be match ready for at least the 25 minutes it's going to take him to get on the end of one and stick it in the back of the net.
00:21:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
We'll all be as surprised as ever, but it's it's going to happen. Look, but oh yeah You heard it here first.
00:21:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
We're trying to look up the odds right now, but it's just the way it's got to be.
00:21:34
Zak
just I just can't live in your land. thus That's where I'm at.
00:21:40
Oscar
I did think i was, I bumped into someone in the concourse yesterday I was speaking to them. They had a bet on, they had a bet on a one nil win with tall pool to score.
00:21:49
Oscar
had the conversation at half-time, and I briefly mentioned the concept of cashing out. He said, i already have. Already cashed out. I don't think we're going to stick with it. I don't think he made a huge amount of money on it, but fair play to him. But it does go to show the sort of state of affairs of us protecting league, but we've never been particularly good at that, have we?
00:22:09
Zak
No.
00:22:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, no, is...
00:22:11
Zak
I could still see us going 3-0 up before half-time and losing 5-3, mate.
00:22:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
It is...
00:22:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
I know that equally wouldn't surprise me, but it shows that you've got the belief that we can score three goals as well. And that's what I'm taking from that. That's the positive.
00:22:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's just... I'm just feeling it. I'm feeling like we're going to push on. We're going to get the result we deserve. We're going to, you know, fly past... the Derby record and look up.
00:22:38
Zak
know i i am I think that eight that at the end of this season, if I can be bothered to go through the time, i'm going to go through all of the clips and they' are all of the episodes that we have at the end of the episodes where you just say, you're just feeling it.
00:22:51
Zak
And then I'm going to figure out the percentage of how many times you've been wrong. And I'm relatively sure at this rate, it's about 98.
00:22:59
Zak
yeah But that's why we love you, Greg, because, you know, so somebody has to have belief here.
00:23:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Look. Look. The... That optimism has to maintain, right? Like, we've got to get something out of this season. look If we win on Sunday, not saying that we're staying up, because mathematically it is virtually impossible.
00:23:18
Global Sports Podcast Network
But, when I still finish
00:23:22
Oscar
I haven't been keeping too much on Alon Spurs. Has Forster still been playing recently or not really? Because he's got to be due at Clang as soon, surely. It'd be nice if he has one against us.
00:23:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
i I don't know, to be honest. I also have not Yeah, Vicarios played their last couple, I'm looking
00:23:35
Oscar
I think Vicario was starting to come back, so maybe he's back. I don't know. haven't I'll be honest, I haven't kept up a Spurs, but that would be that would be nice. To be fair, actually even them playing out from the back last time with him, he nearly got caught out against us then. and We know that's not his specialty, so...
00:23:49
Zak
Yeah, no, Vicario played the last game, but I guess we'll see.
00:23:53
Oscar
Yeah.
00:23:54
Zak
was But then again, that was also Sunday the 16th of March, so who knows what's happened since then, other than the the complete breakdown of society and the world.
00:23:59
Oscar
yeah
00:24:02
Zak
But that seems to be a great that seems to be every week that we live in interesting times, so who knows?
00:24:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
That is the topic of another podcast for another day. We have just about run out of time. Look, clip it up and when we win 3-0, it will go viral on Monday, Zach.
00:24:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
You heard it here first. Get the bets on. We will be back on Monday, regardless of how that goes down. Until then, let's hope it's not the hope that kills us.
00:24:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thanks for joining us, guys. We'll see then.
00:24:38
Zak
Thank you.
