Match Preview: Chelsea vs Arsenal

00:00:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello Chelsea fans and welcome to the Daily Chelsea Podcast and it is of course a special episode today. i am I am flying solo. Unfortunately, my co-hosts are not able to join me tonight, but that will not stop us from discussing the the biggest picture of the weekend, the one of the biggest pictures in our season. um Chelsea played Arsenal at home ah in the last game before the international break, literally literally the last game, the last Premier League game before the international break. It will really set the scene. um but For the Premier League table, but it'll be the last game. and
00:00:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
and before the break, and it's it it's very interesting

Current Form: Chelsea & Arsenal

00:00:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
going into this. and We've got ah quite a few points to discuss about this game today, ah Chelsea fans, and obviously one of the major things that comes it comes into that is its form, the recent form of of this fixture, um the recent form of Arsenal, and of course our recent form as well. it's it's you know it's It's better reading for us as Chelsea fans, but it doesn't necessarily mean we should be going into this game looking for a win.
00:01:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
So we will discuss, of course, today our predicted lineups. We will discuss what we think Arsenal will lineup like. Obviously, there's a couple of injury concerns for Arsenal recently. um Maybe, you know, Odegard and Declan Rice have a broken toe. Plus, we'll also discuss, you know, the recent history of the picture, as we've just mentioned, you know, the 5-0 went against Arsenal as much as it hurts me to say that. 5-0 went for Arsenal, sorry, on in April last year. um Obviously, we drew at home to the bridge drew it home to them as well.
00:01:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
last season but the recent results haven't exactly been pretty reading for Chelsea um in fact we're without a win against Arsenal um since August 2021 in the Premier League and not only is that hard reading for Chelsea fans you know that's just it's not the level that we ever should have been at and obviously when you face a rival club um a rival club like Arsenal

Rivalry History: Chelsea vs Arsenal

00:02:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
I mean you know I think One thing we have to discuss going into this game is, for me, what I see on social media is this mystery of some sort of rivalry routine, Chelsea and Arsenal, when I want to completely dispel that mystery. There is a rivalry there, obviously, it's two massive London clubs, but it's gotten a lot more fierce in recent years. Arsenal fans, Arsenal, you're obviously jealous of
00:02:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
what Chelsea have done in terms of European trophies, Arsenal, Chelsea fans are obviously jealous of what Arsenal have actually built in terms of their project. We've been told so many times, we've been hiring a manager to see a similar scenario through, and not once have we really got there, too, because it was probably the closest one we got to, and we all know how that ended up.
00:02:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
um And really, you know if if we're talking about the two two biggest clubs in London, it's Chelsea and Arsenal. If we're talking about two of the biggest clubs in the league, it's Chelsea and Arsenal. And Arsenal have not had much silverware to show in terms of the recent rivalry, but in terms of the very recent rivalry, they've definitely had some results in their favour. And Chelsea need to change that this Sunday.
00:03:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
um
00:03:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think we'll we'll probably start there with with the recent form because this is this is something that obviously we need to look at, but it's it's very different this game to to most of the games we've had you know since since i you know I said that we last had a result, um had a win against Arsenal when you know we've had some you know two core managed games, we've had Potter managed games, we've had some Poch managed games, um and those we really need to discuss because as as bad form as as Arsenal were in,
00:03:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
they are probably heading into this specific fixture against us feeling

Arsenal's Strategy: High Press

00:03:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
decently confident. I don't think, you know, they're, you know, every fan is expecting Arsenal to turn up a win, but I think that they know they have the ability to. And probably the only thing that's, there's only really two things that are going to hold Arsenal back from, from beating us this Sunday. And that's one, Enzo Maresca. And the second one is,
00:04:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
their own form. They can cause their own downfall when we've seen that in games this season. We've seen it incredibly recently, even just last week. and Chelsea have a similar capability, um not through any distinct notion of you know you know a play style or you know a certain tactic not working in a certain game or something like that. It is typically down to Sanchez. And this is something We have to talk about this as Chelsea fans now because I mean, me personally, I was backing Sanchez. I think I've seen qualities in him that I think, you know, I can understand where we're seeing top recruiters look at look at Sanchez and go. He's got the quality to to be world class. And I think I think it would be.
00:04:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
a bit odd to disagree with that. He's shown quality. He really has shown quality and in certain moments and we as charity fans have to appreciate that. what What the issue is, I think really is concentration with him. um And I think if it if it may it reminds me of an interview with, funny enough, when he was the Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale.
00:05:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Um, and Aaron Ramsdale, you know, said, uh, you know, I just can't concentrate for 90 minutes in the game. That's why, you know, that's why he's so, uh, intimate with the fans. Let's say, you know, likes delight to like to wind up the fans. He'll, he'll try and go to certain players because he, he finds that that will essentially, you know, keep his concentration in the game. And I think that is the the big issue with Robert Sanchez is the concentration. He.
00:05:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's almost as if he knows what action he should be doing and his brain doesn't match up as as much as that may make him sound like an idiot. Some of the things he've done he's done have been idiotic and we cannot afford for that to happen in this game. However, I'm predicting that it will.
00:05:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
and Mainly down to Arsenal's, you know, Arsenal's playstyle itself, you know, they press high. All of Sanchez's mistakes this season, while one have come from a high press or a player not having enough space that you should have done, um where, you know, he would have been able to collect that wayward pass from Sanchez, but otherwise it's it's not happened. And of course, Sanchez has a couple of times this season that she passed it straight to an opposition player. um Arsenal will be up there. They'll be up there with four players and two players sitting in front of our, sitting behind our midfield is ready to press as well. um They know it they are,
00:06:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
one of the best teams in the league in terms of when it comes to activating that press. They know exactly who to press, when and why. And Chelsea are going to have to deal with that. and I don't think, I don't think we have to question Mareska's ability to

Chelsea's Evolution Under Enzo Maresca

00:06:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
deal with that. What we have to question is the maturity of this team, the maturity of or how well they know these tactics so far because It's been very surprising how well this team has gained in an and identity um under Enzo Marusco. It's been fantastic. It's something I've personally really enjoyed. um We've not really seen it since Tuchel, an identity, a play style, a way that Chelsea should be playing. And and that's this is, you know,
00:07:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
from all the things we've heard from you know Roman in the past and all this sort of stuff all the leaks from the press and then we want to play attacking football and that sort of thing I feel like for Chelsea at the moment we do have the perfect balance in terms of a tactically astute man a tactically astute manager um who can also um who's also quite flexible in terms of his tactics but again can be strict when he needs to, um which is it's so perfect exactly for so from the sort of the youngest God that we've got and and and the players that are at Chelsea. But it doesn't mean we're there yet. This is a process. And if we think about where Arsenal are now, we are essentially at the start of that process. And that's very hard to take as Chelsea fans.
00:07:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
um that will be the excuse if we come away from this game with a loss. you know I have no doubt that we'll at least have some chances and play well. But if we come away from this game with a loss, you know we'll we'll we'll we'll be comparing where we are in the process to where Arsenal women are in the process. And maybe some Chelsea fans are not going to like what we've seen on Sunday. yeah I think Maresco will be looking to take a bit more of an offensive approach. I think he'll be looking to go on the counter. and And I also think the thing that may turn
00:08:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
the game for Chelsea is something very important. um And it's it's to do with Arsenal's recent form, but it's also to do with how we've sort of seen Mareska think, how we've seen him approach games so far. And there's not been too many of them obviously, but the way we have seen him approach games so far has been incredibly interesting and something I'd love to see as a Chelsea fan. And we will discuss that after this very quick break.

And we are back on the Daily Chelsea podcast. um It's fantastic to have you all with me. Of course, this is a big fixture we're discussing. And just before the break, we were talking about what Arsenal may do to play into Chelsea's hands and more specifically Enzo Mareska's hands. So we discussed sort of like the form from recent fixtures and maybe what specifically from our team may affect, you know, how Arsenal are going to play or how we're expecting them to play.
00:10:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
But what we need to take that take into this is obviously just a bit of a recency bias. you know Arsenal are not in a great runner form. you know In the Premier League, they they have actually you know um not been doing too badly in the last few games, but the performances have been very worrying you know if you've been watching Arsenal.
00:10:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
um The results on paper don't read like an incredibly bad run of form ah but specific that Newcastle performance last week I think probably gave Arteta a bit more to worry about than he would have liked. if we were but If we were playing them after the the Liverpool game then this would be ah a bit of a different story but there's pressure coming on Arteta from you know every angle now and and Arsenal as well and Part of that pressure is coming from Arsenal fans. you know there's There's starting to be more groans in their stadium. There's starting to be a lot more fans online talking about the state of the club and where they should be. And and you know maybe maybe as Chelsea fans, we don't have to make a comment on that today. If you were able to listen to the crossover Thursday episode where we spoke with the daily Arsenal team as well, that came out yesterday. So please give it a listen, Martin from our podcast.
00:11:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
um raised some great points. And and and what what we have to realise is that the Arsenal are going to come into this game with the ambitions that they have for this season, which is winning the Premier League or at the very least being the next team there. They are coming to this game to win it. They cannot walk away from this game of a draw and expect to be in the title race. They can't come away from this game of a loss and expect to you know, expect to expect to even be maybe even looking at the top two now. They will be if if if we win this game, we will be three points clear of them and Arsenal, you know, could possibly be sitting as low as ninth if they were to lose this game. It is a huge game with massive implications for both sides.

Match Stakes & Impact

00:11:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
But considering we're all aware that Chelsea's ambitions for this season are top four, and if we don't lose this game, we probably remain there. um It's Arsenal
00:12:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
have a lot more pressure on them in this game. And Enzo Mareska, from the way we've seen him approach every football game so far, is going to be very well aware of that. And that's fantastic for us Chelsea fans, if he plays his card right is cards right. and And what I mean by that is, Enzo will know that Arsenal are desperate to win this game.
00:12:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
That doesn't mean they're going to go all guns blazing. you know They will have a game plan. Arteta is a very good manager. you know They're going to have a way to try and win this game. um And there are probably a bit of double bluffing going on you know have between both managers. um And that's another thing I want to say as well, is that the Marekka has already alluded to this. you know He said that the Chelsea players are going out to war on Sunday. you know he He said that there will be no repeat whatsoever of last season's result, which is exactly what you want to hear from manager. And and it makes you sort of feel like Mareska is so aware of of what Arsenal could suffer after so it' offer in this game, really. If if Mareska sets up um in a similar fashion to how he has before with, you know, you know maybe specifically the left back or the right back making, a you know, being the inverted midfielder, Arsenal will probably know how to counter that.
00:13:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
What I expect Maresca to do is to not use an inverted midfielder and potentially drop a player back rather than using an offender to go forward. um This will probably, for me, I think it'll be a massive midfield battle when I see Labia and Casado definitely starting, although we'll we'll get onto the full lineups after our next break. it we have to we have to We have to be aware of how quick Arsenal can pass around us. We have to be aware of the quality they're going to have. Martin Odegaard is probably going to start this game.
00:13:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
um yeah chels We have to be so aware of what f threat they can bring to us and if we're able to nullify I think Arsenal's threat within the first half an hour and bring their confidence down a bit I think it's our game to win

Chelsea's Performance Analysis

00:14:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
and i an Enzo is well aware of that. He is well aware that they have lost confidence in games so quickly recently. And as your results get progressively worse, that the time for you to go the time for you to lose your confidence in a game, no matter how good the team talk from the manager was originally, you know there's no there's not really much way to counteract that unless there are mistakes made by the other team, which, considering it's us, is a very real possibility.
00:14:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's going to be a tough game. Chelsea, we have to see easily. You have to see our best performance of the season. Um, and that brings me on to obviously Chelsea's recent form as well. Now, the interesting thing with Chelsea is obviously it's a bit harder to judge. Um, mainly because, you know, we, we, we are literally playing two different teams at the moment in terms of cup competitions in the premier league. We have a.
00:15:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
sort of very solid spine. And you know most players are sort of solidified in that Premier League team. But you know when it comes to, for example, our Thursday night game, we won 8-0 with essentially some fringe players ah in a European competition. So it's hard to judge. But the Man United performance last week, Chelsea and Arsenal both coming off performances that they do not like in this game. What we've got to be What we've got to understand is that, you know, we we played away last week against a very upright Manchester United with, you know, not exactly a new manager bounce, but that was their, you know, you know, a massive home game with Rudvan Nistero on his second game. You know, there were there were a few extra things working against us and to come out on paper, to come out of that game with a draw, I think we did well, but the performance was not what were but we would have liked.
00:16:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
We did also lose our game before that, which was against Newcastle, but that was in the Caravale Cup and we won our game against Newcastle United in the Premier League last. So Chelsea, our form recently has been pretty good.
00:16:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
On top of that we've scored 15 goals in our last five matches um and Cole Palmer obviously who we are very much hoping will be starting has created has created the most big chances in the Premier League so far. um We scored 15 goals in our last five matches compared to Arsenal's six which obviously is a very big difference um and Arsenal have not scored in their last two matches as well.
00:16:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
There are a lot of stats that you could pick out and say, oh, Chelsea are my favorite here. Oh, Arsenal are my favorite here. But really, I think there's there's one very key stat we need to look at so

Key Players: Palmer vs Havertz

00:16:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
far. And ah what I want to look at today is the two best attacking players before Chelsea and Arsenal. And When I say the player I'm about to say for Arsenal, I don't mean he's their literal best attacking player, but in terms of someone who turns up week in, week out and is able to influence games, that for me is Kai Habert. And so it's another player we need to speak about because Kai Habert is probably coming back for a bit of revenge this Sunday. You know, Chelsea fans obviously not like the fact he went to Arsenal, you know, he was not giving the best performances in the time before he left, so
00:17:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
It wasn't going to be a, it was never going to be, you know, we we never booed him at the bridge, but it was never going to be exactly a romantic, romantic meet up again once, once have it stick combat to play against Chelsea. and But with yeah the other thing we've got, the um but the reason I want to compare obviously our best attacking player is probably Karl Palmer. And it's looking like he will be okay for Sunday.
00:17:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
um If you compare in the Premier League, Cole Palmer and Kai Habers, this is something I sort of want to make aware it' to Chelsea fans because although we as Chelsea fans have eyes and we understand how much Cole Palmer influences a game, ah some Arsenal fans say the same thing. you know Some Arsenal fans say he influenced his match negatively, which you know is is a valid opinion to have. But as a Chelsea fan who watches Arsenal every now and again, obviously,
00:18:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
When I look at the stats on paper, Premier League goals this season average from operating a eight for Karl Palmer and 7.5 for Havarts. Karl Palmer has seven goals. The Karl Palmer is four. Karl Palmer has an extra five to Karl Palmer is 4.7.
00:18:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
and it's They also average the same shots on target per match as well. um And Kai Habert actually has a few more minutes over Cole Palmer. And I'm not comparing Cole Palmer and Kai Habert. But it is is interesting because Arsenal were obviously much more of a player, a team player team. They have, you know, there a lot more of their players link up play. And obviously, when we talk about Cole Palmer, we are talking about a lot of the goals he makes or creates are created just from his quality and other players tacking onto that. It's not
00:19:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
an entire team play. Typically it's Cole Palmer who makes those chances. um And that's going to be one of the the key battles I'm going to be interested in seeing this Sunday because as much as I think we may set up on the counter, I think the there's going to be two or three attacking players for both teams. um not Not even necessarily attacking players, but there are going to be two or three players for both teams that really influence this game and most likely win the game if there is a winner in this. And it's tough. It's going to be so tough. And you know what? We need to talk about the lineups because that is another big thing, especially for both teams, um considering Arsenal's injuries and you know the way Chelsea have been you know chopping and changing a little bit this season. And and we also need to see we need to predict a result. So join us for the last part of Daily Chelsea. We'll be back after this very quick break.

Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello, ladies and gentlemen, we are back on the Daily Chelsea podcast for part three. of our preview of the Chelsea and Arsenal game. Now, of course, this is not the only time we have preview Chelsea and Arsenal this week. This is just our last preview before we head into the big game of this weekend. um Of course, we had a crossover Thursday episode with the Daily Arsenal team. Remember, we have all 20 Premier League clubs at the gi at GSPN. We did a crossover with Daily Arsenal and discussed a lot of interesting talking points um on a very good episode with our co-host Martin as well. and Please go back and listen to that. And of course, we have a lot of episodes out this week discussing, you know, games are coming thick and fast, so make sure you
00:21:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah subscribe, follow Daily Chelsea. But and enough of that, let's talk about the predicted lineups and what we expect to see from Chelsea and Arsenal this Sunday. We've discussed recent form, we've spoken about tactics, spoken about the managers. um But at the end of the day, there's going to be 20 players on the field who really make this game what it will be. And we need to we need to discuss

Arsenal's Injury Concerns

00:21:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
who those are going to be. So we'll start with Arsenal because, you know, there are genuine genuine injuries to arsenal that are goingnna make ah going to make a big difference, obviously. and Currently, you know, rice with broken toes, doubtful habits with a head injury is, you know, sort of 50-50. Tierney, Callefiori are both not back for them, as well as Tomiaso as well. Odegard has also only just come back, so
00:21:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
it will be interesting to see if he starts that's going to massively change the game and this does change how Maresco is probably setting up for the game as well you know a player like Odegard or you know where maybe we're a bit of a different system that hasn't been using with you know sort of like free attacking midfielders rather than two wingers and attacking midfielder if you understand what I mean it's it will change how Maresca sets up for this game. And considering the injuries that we do have, considering that Chelsea also may be without Cole Palmer, I think we might see quite a few tactical changes early on in this game. I think it's going to take a little bit of time for us and Chelsea to fill themselves out and get to that point where we really get into the game.
00:22:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
um For Arsenal, my predicted line-up is very similar to the one that played against Inter away. um I can see Trossard starting again. Martinelli, Marino, Pate and Sacher I think will be you know in a similar sort of 4-4-2. I think Jesus will replace Haverz regardless of if Haverz is injured or not. um But then My other thinking is possibly that, you know, if Habert is able to start, Arteta will play him away at Stanford Bridge. But I'm going to go for Hazus as a striker with Trozard, sort of maybe playing him behind or playing to left to him as well. I do see Timba starting at left back, but is risky for Arteta, in my opinion, Timba
00:23:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
We're going to have wingers running that in, but it seems te is very timber is very likely to put challenge in that that's going to earn him a yellow card, possibly two, which is good for us Chelsea fans. But for Arsenal fans, I think I would be a bit worried if I saw timber starting at left back on Sunday, especially if, you know, Madawake, if pom Palmer starts as well, Netto as well. You know, that's a lot of running to do and a lot of players to try and go put good challenges in.
00:23:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
um Gabrielle and Salibro, I think, will be the sense about partnership again. um And I do also see Ben White starting again at right back. um I think he has just that maybe... I think he just has that bit more athletic ability and I think Arsenal are going to be very aware of what, as we just mentioned, what their full backs will need to do, what is going to be asked of them in that game, because they're going to need to support Martin and Ian Sackham very well.
00:24:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
also able to support Gabriel and Saliva because we like to use those wide channels a lot and they're going to be so aware of that um and obviously right here in in goal. For Chelsea this this this is tough because we have players you know yeah we're coming off an 8-0 win three days before and while it's it's it's not very typical for you know, players to start on a Thursday or in a cup game in the week and then play in the Premier League game for us on the weekends.

Predicted Lineups & Strategies

00:24:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think maybe we should, we should be allowing a little bit of that here. The main person I'm talking about is Nkuku. He has, he's scored in every game he started so far this season. And and yes, or that may be against lesser opponents, but I don't understand what more of a case he needs to make to start this game.
00:24:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
and And if Cole Palmer is an injury risk, I think now is the time to do so. So what I expect to see from Chelsea this Sunday is...
00:25:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah sort of similar lineup to Manchester United. We'll start with Sanchez and Gull unfortunately. I can see us playing as both fallbacks. so I'm not necessarily going to name who is playing left back and who's playing right back, but I think Gusto and James will also be our two fallbacks for this game and the same two setbacks again, Colwell and Fafana. They seem to really be starting to get a really good link up now and it's fantastic to see um In front of them, um um I cannot change La Vieira-Casado. Enzo did have a good performance in the week, but like I said, I think defensive stability is going to be so much more important than a couple of really good passes that may break the defence, but that's not worth having Enzo over La Vieira for me, and I think we just lose so much more of having La Vieira in that team. So La Vieira-Casado in the middle pivots for me. ah Netto on the left wing, I think, is is definitely a shoe-in, considering Sancho is also not available, and Madawake on the right.
00:26:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Cole Palmer and Kuku, obviously if Cole Palmer is not ready to start, I do see Nkuku starting there and I think that'd be very good to see. hes he's and He's a very good attacking midfielder and if he's sort of asked to play that false nine role and sort of drop deep a bit and just collect that ball off of La Vieira Cancedo like Cole Palmer does but offer a bit of a different dynamic to what Cole Palmer does.
00:26:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
um that's going to change how Arsenal play and again I think tactical change is going to be really important earlier ah early on because we don't know who's going to be starting in these very big attacking roles until until Sunday really without Cole Palmer it's really going to hurt us however there may be an advantage in the fact that they were setting up to stop Cole Palmer and maybe they don't set up as much to stop Nkunku because you know it's not Cole Palmer. and Not that, any sort of knock on Nkunku's ability, but I think if Cole Palmer is not playing, you you put resources elsewhere because maybe you think you don't necessarily need them.
00:27:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
and I also see Nicholas Jackson starting again as well. One thing I need to mention about Nicholas Jackson is we are at the start of November and he is one year away from missing a game because of his, he's got four yellow cards already. and Tell Jackson to stay out of everything in this game. I know it's very hard for him, but Arsenal players are going to be looking to wind him up and they know they're very aware that he's on four yellow cards as well, especially those centre backs. So they're going to be looking to wind him up at every point.

and And that's my predicted lineup for Chelsea vs

Match Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Arsenal. I now need to move on to the result. And I've thought a lot about this and obviously, you know, injury news changes this throughout the week and the fact, you know, that Arsenal lost against Inter and, you know, we had an 8-0 win so so the confidence levels of both teams obviously changed quite a bit. I think we're going for a 1-0 draw.

I think Arsenal will score first. I think they'll break us down. um They will really, really hammer us hard. And I think maybe about 60 minutes we'll get that first goal from Arsenal. I then see us equalizing probably through Jacksoner and Kuker, I'd like to say. I think those two are also going to really press the defence. And as the game gets later on, I see a couple of their defenders being on yellow cards, not wanting to make challenges that they should, that they would have done if they weren't booked. And I think well we'll get an opportunity out of that.

I do think this is going to be an incredibly tight game. i I don't see how it's not going to be. Chelsea you have to set up not to lose. Arsenal have to set up to win. But that's going to, you know, we may effectively create a low block, a lot of possession in football, waiting for our chances to be able to, you know, to be able to get our goals. Arsenal are going to really have to sort of hammer. They're going to have to really go at our defence, but, you know, they're going to be going at a minimum of six players in a wall.

um Arsenal's movement recently as well, you can see that Arsenal, the team is just starting to get tired and I think that's probably one of the one of the worst things about Arteta as a manager is I think he he's sometimes gone for bigger players rather than squad players and i don't i um I've always thought he's not necessarily had to do that. um And now they're suffering a bit for it and it's it's not necessarily you know all the squad planning's fault, but, you know, there's a lot of fixtures right now. um And, you know, you travel as easily, you come back, you have two days to play before Sunday. And it's, yeah you know, Arsenal are going for a bit of a tough period right now. But as Chelsea, we have to take advantage of that. That is what we do. um We have to be taking advantage of Arsenal's runner form.

um I really hope that we can play some really good possession football. i You know, if we if we go into this game, you know, all guns blazing and in the Smackin Arsenal, I also won't have any sort of issue with it. I just don't think it's what Maresque is going to do. I think he's going to be very tactically astute. I think he's going to tell these players to wait, be very patient, wait for their opportunities. And if the opportunities don't come, then we'll change something. But otherwise, that's how I see this game playing out.

It's been fantastic hosting you today. Thank you all so much for listening. and As Chelsea fans, hopefully we can walk away with three points on Sunday, what that would mean for our season. The hopes will be getting higher. Let's say that the hopes will certainly be getting higher. We would be, you know, we'd be top four, possibly pushing onto, you know, third place heading into the international break of 11 games played.

A lot of Chelsea fans would have beat your hand off for that at the start of the season. I hope it could also go all go wrong as well and Arsenal could beat us, but that would mean we're going we're in the top six heading into the international break as well. It's a good time to be a Chelsea fan. Hopefully it's still a good time to be a Chelsea fan after this game on Sunday. Thank you so much for listening and we will see you next Monday. See you.
