Transcript

Speaker: Ladies, gentlemen, folks beyond the binary, grab your husband, wife, partner, mistress, a condom for your chat GPT lover and gather around the radio.

Speaker: It's time for this week's meeting of the Erotic Thriller Club.

Speaker: Mysterious dangerous and oh yes They've got all the sexiest movies out of the edges So if you're fatally attracted to the raciest stuff Erotic Bell Club Basically instinctively crave the salacious Erotic Bell Club If you want a raciest movie and you're too classic for smart

Speaker: David is a depressed widower who just wants to work from home and not go to after hours office functions. But like a lot of the world, David has a boss who thinks he'd be more productive if he worked in the office and also took home a lifelike sex robot for beta testing.

Speaker: Will everything be all fine and dandy or will sex bot become an obsessive kill bot this week on the erotic thriller club soulmate. Hey everybody, welcome to this week's meeting to the Erotic Thriller Club. As always, Garrett Callender and Kit Ryan here.

Speaker: And this is where we answer the genre's three most important questions. Was I roused? Was I thrilled? And would I ruin my life for this person? Or in this case, I suppose, for this robot.

Speaker: I love that this movie brought back throwing a number into the middle of a word that makes the word not the word they mean it to be. It's confusing because you could have just made it soulmate, like M8. Just the eight.

Speaker: Just the eight. But then you add the T-E at the end, so it's like soulmate, soulmate, soulmate, David Fincher fucked this up in the the what eight late 90s as well with S7N. S7N. Yep, yep, yep. They make the joke in the movie, though, which kind of annoyed me. I'm like, you've taken my thunder by making the same joke I was going to make about how this stupid thing is not does not make sense in its pronunciation.

Speaker: I don't remember that. Yeah, when the the they're introducing the soulmate eight to the office workers, ah his buddy leans over and is like, soulmate?

Speaker: Ah, yeah, very early. They, with this movie... I hadn't watched a trailer. We just knew that from the world of Megan, we were getting an erotic thriller horror movie. Which I have not seen any of the Mithrigan movies, so I know nothing about this world.

Speaker: And obviously, like, Megan doesn't even come up. i don't think it was even the same company. I don't remember the name of it. It would make sense if it were least the same company because it's in the same world.

Speaker: But i so when I hear sex robot movie... Mm-hmm. I'm expecting a much more in Sally movie. And they figured out the only way to make this a sympathetic character from the jump.

Speaker: v Yeah. Oh, 100%. They worked very hard to make this character um not. hateable right like there were so many ways you could have fucked this up but they make him so genuinely likable you feel so sorry for him oh my god when he is calling his dead wife's voicemail to to hear her voice again and and and then the voicemail box is full because clearly he does this all the time oh I could not my heart and I'm like this is

Speaker: Garrett, did you trick me into watching a good movie for once? Like, this is a real movie. it It was real. And to a point where I was just like, fuck, is this going to get fun? And it did. It got it did. It got real fun. it got real fun. But fuck, did they like really make me linger in the sadness for the first half of the movie before they took off with the fun and games? But you 100% believe why this guy in particular would get sucked in by a chat bot.

Speaker: It it it is all makes such perfect sense. Absolutely. And i do like if we're just going to start from the top of the movie, I loved that. I mean, it immediately starts with a sex scene. Yeah, we got violins. We got blue lighting. We got hands on skin, breathing and and breathing and coding. and then there's there's a lady on top of a dude and she's choking him. He's into it. And you're like, all right. All right.

Speaker: And the whole time you're just seeing the security camera watching or something like that, which we later find out, I guess is kind of like an echo dot with a yeah Alexa dot or whatever they call them, but with a camera in it.

Speaker: But it chokes them a little too much and scientists have to come out and pull and off of their test subject. Which I love the idea that these these scientists had to monitor this dude getting off for science.

Speaker: Which I know is a thing. I took a... Is it? Yes. had friends in college that took a sex psych class. Um, and they do do a research to find out what people are ar roused by. It's apparently a lot easier for men than for women, uh, to tell you just hook some stuff up to the penis and see what makes it a little, little band and see if the band expands at all. Yeah. You just see what makes it jiggle. Yeah.

Speaker: It is funny because it's like um the movie Dirty Work where they're getting paid to eat brownies that give them hives or, you know, like people who have to go get paid to just try medicines and see what the side effects are. Exactly. This one way nicer. They'll show you porn and then they'll slip a bit of gay porn in there and see if, you know, your penis reacts to it. And you'll be like, oh, I learned something about myself today.

Speaker: I don't know if I could perform in front of the scientists. That is a known a known issue in this sort of, ah in this realm, is that they know, which is why they always go for horny college students. ah You know, they don't have those kinds of hangups.

Speaker: ah For sure. And they need the cash, obviously. They're the most desperate. They need that piece of money. Did we ever in this film, I don't know if the robot ever got further enough along in beta testing to even discuss what it might cost down the line.

Speaker: No, but the ah the person we see... at the very end of the movie, who has actually bought one on the in like for real, said that it was very expensive.

Speaker: and So I'm going to guess it's pretty pricey. And you know this kind of thing would have a subscription model too, where you've got to pay monthly for all the the shit. Otherwise, they'll remotely shut down your sex-made robot. 100%. They're going to milk every penny out of you.

Speaker: The people that can afford this though, i mean, if we're just going off of what this movie's like, it isn't going to be in-sell people because this thing's going to cost more than a car. Yes. But I also think the people that can afford this thing- Can afford to hire her real human. don't George Clooney's going fuck the robot. Yeah. The people that can afford this can afford to just hire a hot lady. to But like a sad old rich man needs a lady to live in his house with him maybe.

Speaker: Yeah, and you can pay an extra. It's called a sugar baby. you can find them. Yeah, but this one isn't going to steal from you. and and and your your kids will love it even more because it's not going to take their inheritance. That's actually a really valid point. This does seem like the kind of thing that the kids would be like, Dad, I know you're lonely in your old age. We got you this. Because that way they don't have to worry about Anna Nicole Smith style, like it taking an inheritance they feel they are entitled to.

Speaker: It'll watch Game Show Network with you all day and on your flaccid penis when you want it to. And it's going to love it. And you know what? If that keeps that man busy enough that he does not run for a 15th term in Congress, i say all the better.

Speaker: so Somewhere right now, this robot is keeping Mitch McConnell alive.

Speaker: Apologies at the date of this release. if he he if he If we know he's for a fact, he's dead. Well, just know at the time of this record, they claim he's still alive and has not ah drained him of his life force.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah, sure.

Speaker: Goddamn. ah Yeah. didn then we When you first meet this guy's boss. Ben, and the director of integration and transformation. I immediately thought he was going to be a robot.

Speaker: I spent the whole movie assuming he was robot. Yeah, I thought that was very likely ah a twist. They even joke about it. They did. one yeah The two of the characters joke about, like, would you think he's a robot?

Speaker: Turns out when his arms get ripped off, nah, that's real blood right there. That's not motor oil. yeah i wasn't expecting to like the characters in this movie. I was not either, but I genuinely them all quite a bit.

Speaker: They were all oh great. Yeah. Like I can't fully decide how I feel is about the movie as a whole because I wasn't ready for the sadness for the first 30, 40, but I was ready for the fun of the the last 40 years.

Speaker: Abso-fucking-lutely. um Yeah, they they introduce you into the world, I think, very well with ah Ben, the Director of Integration and Transformation, talking to the people who are getting a return-to-office mandate via Zoom meeting, and he's laying on all the corporate-speak bullshit so heavily.

Speaker: And um it it was it was great setup for the world building, for the character. And then um I have to point out like the sickest thing that I saw in the whole movie, um which is is going to haunt me for days, Garrett. And that is yeah the sign in the background as he's like leaving the house for the first time. And there's a sign that's like for those lawyers you see on TV talking about mesothelioma or asbestos and shit like that. But for microplastics, like, have you been harmed by microplastics? Call this number. And I'm like, that's, oh, I cannot think of a a better way to clearly state this is in the near future Then that there are lawsuits about the fact that like microplastics ah destroyed your sperm count or something.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. No, that's awesome. It's such good world building and it's just a little detail in the background. It's like I was genuinely impressed. Yeah, this is a movie.

Speaker: This is a movie that could have been in a movie theater. like here I don't know how this happened that we accidentally watched a real movie. It feels like we haven't done so in so long.

Speaker: It sometimes makes our job harder. Yeah, but I'm so excited about it

Speaker: We need to give ah give the writer-director Katie Dolan a little more little more kudos for, hey, yeah you made a movie. Sorry, it didn't go to theaters. You know, Megan 2 didn't do so hot, and also Companion came out. So that makes it hard for your movie that's like both of Should we do Companion as well? Is that... is that Similar enough to this that it would we would benefit from some sort of compare and contrast.

Speaker: I remember companion being, i think companion was probably a better movie from what I remember, but as far as an erotic thriller, i think what this movie did as far as like erotic thriller deaths, are so satisfying. I think if you watched it as a horror movie, you might be disappointed. But I think from where we're at, the level of kids we get in this movie are so good for an erotic thriller. So good. No, it's it's really perfect for for the genre. You get just enough of the outrageous, over-the-top shit, but like...

Speaker: No, I think in terms of of the genre beats, it hits them really well. It does. um Yeah, I think, I don't know if we do companion. i'd I'd have to rewatch it and see. I remember it being good, but I don't remember it being as erotic thrillery as this is. Like this fits the genre better. Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, so while we're in the office and they introduce the robot to everybody, I love that the robot gives a guy the full-on Trump handshake. Oh, yeah. yeah Are you kidding me? Like, the robot won't let go of this dude's hand. And somebody has to come over like, hey, let go of him now. And I'm like, you want me to put my dick in the thing that doesn't know to shake hands? Turns out you shouldn't put your dick in it, Garrett. We find out what happens when it doesn't release the handshake and the handshake is actually your dick.

Speaker: horrible Love Horrible. Horrible for the people, but like for me as a viewer. Excellent. But yes, and that's ah that's what we call foreshadowing, Garrett. That that handshake is foreshadowing for your dick.

Speaker: So when they introduce her and they like pull the wig off and take the face off to show the blue robot head, what if that's my thing? Do I get a discount to not have a super lifelike lady face on it if I want to fuck some blue humanoid robot?

Speaker: No, Garrett, because you know that they're going to find every way to nickel and dime you and make that cost extra. They're not going easy on you just because that's what you want. There was some excellent... take it off Yes.

Speaker: Yeah, you could you could just do that, but then you that's absolutely going to fuck up the warranty if you carve that face off. Well, looks like it just kind of comes off kind of easy.

Speaker: I guess. I don't know. um There's some excellent robot acting in that hole that whole bit, though. like The way that actress moves is perfectly imperfect and unnatural in ways both obvious and subtle. I i enjoyed it quite a bit.

Speaker: You're right. that She did do a really good job of just being a robot. Yes, it's which is not easy to do. no Some people go too human. Some people go too fake.

Speaker: She had it right. Let's see. Her name is the robot's name in this movie is Sarah. Was that a different person though for the, that robot? We got a different robot in our line, right? Cause Sarah are, yeah but they're all supposed to be like, you know, identically pretty.

Speaker: Looks like she was in Lee Cronin's the mummy. She was an evil dead rise. Yeah. ah looks like she's been in like a bunch of TV shows and stuff. Her name's Lily Sullivan. Yeah. Sorry. Back to the film.

Speaker: They introduce also some other fun tech, like a necklace that takes away your anxiety. Yeah. i I kept waiting for that to be something to pay off in some way.

Speaker: I don't know that it did. We got it in the the finale the the finale finale. because that Oh, right. that Yes, it was that was how she tracked them, which is stupid. She could have just looked up what the address of his previous home was and driven there.

Speaker: This was a obvious place. Yeah. This is a very obvious place for them to run away to. But, you know, you got to have your final confrontation in the woods in the middle of nowhere.

Speaker: That's just the way these things go. And I love that the boss gets him to start using the, whatever their chat GBT is to start building a relationship. And then after he is like, clearly this. I love even more that they have that conversation where he's like, you should use this chat bot to help you get, feel better about your dead wife while sitting on fucking beanbag chairs. Garrett.

Speaker: Amazing. Amazing. Yeah. that's time Like a beautiful, but yes, it does seem to be helping him a little bit. And that's when it hits with what you had just mentioned, the upsell a subscription service. Cause he's getting this, the chat version for free through work, but it's like, do you really want to hang out further? 10 99 a month. And I can have a voice.

Speaker: er You're cute. I wish I was there. Yeah, and they're always going to find a way they're always gonna find a way to upsell you, garra you know the first taste is free And I love that he was getting into it enough that he finally kind of caves and agrees to do the beta testing of the actual robot with his boss. And the arrival of this blue coffin tis yeah by the the portly delivery man who knows too much about the robots, but gets to do nothing with them besides drop them off at other people's houses. Yeah.

Speaker: Yes, and then tell them like where the emergency shutdown button is and about the manual, and then that's it. That's all you get to do, buddy. The emergency shut-off's right here behind her neck, and um the clitoris doesn't exist.

Speaker: She can't feel pleasure anyway. It is all fake. She does arrive nude and she comes with four different outfits. Yeah, just like a Barbie doll. She comes with outfits. What is that? I mean, I get i understand like you're going to need clothes for it and you don't want to initially have to do the clothes shopping. But this is still beta, so it's weird that they've delivered him four separate outfits. You'd think you would want to dress her up how you like. now They made it seem like these four outfits were necessary.

Speaker: I feel like it is a crime. that maybe someone should go to prison for, that they explicitly told us one of the outfits was a schoolgirl outfit, and then she is never in the schoolgirl outfit.

Speaker: ah That's it's not okay. You get a sundress, a club dress, a cocktail dress? ah her Was that the third one? And then schoolgirl, and he's schoolgirl? As if he didn't understand what you needed that for.

Speaker: Yeah. He's a little naive, our guy. ah The two of them just standing there gawking at the robot titties is... Yeah. I yeah mean, honestly, like, I don't know what else you're supposed to do.

Speaker: i don't know. They delivered it to me nude. They could have put it in one of the dresses. It does feel like it should come with some clothes on. Barbie comes with clothes on. Yeah. Yeah, she does, Garrett. They don't just sell you a naked Barbie. No.

Speaker: That'd be weird. Yeah, you don't. and That doesn't leave anything to the imagination. And i our guy is pretty modest, though. Like he immediately she is clothed within moments of. Yes. Him showing her around the house. He isn't making her, you know, just be a nude sex slave.

Speaker: He respects this robot. Hmm. Sort of. Yeah, at this point. For now. Yeah. The problem with his sex robot is that it's not.

Speaker: I mean, it'll say it loves your bathroom. It'll pull a quarter out of your ear. um But it can't love you and it can't have a real personality because it's got too many guardrails because apparently if you let it do as many things as you let a chatbot do in a real physical robot, ah that opens you up to a lot of liability. So it has more safeguards to make sure that it doesn't accidentally do anything bad.

Speaker: And that makes it pretty boring to talk to. So that's the problem they've got to solve. Yeah, it did bum me out when the robot was a bigger loser than him.

Speaker: When the robot's just like, you like magic? Let me pull a quarter out of your ear. it's like No, don't let this be a preset setting for the sexy sex bot. I don't need it to pull a quarter out of my ear. Yes, you do.

Speaker: no so You love that, Garrett. That's what you're into. I wasn't charmed by it You what? what? What? I did think it was funny the way he finds out that it can't speak negatively to him as he's like, hey, if you beat me at chess, can you just tell me to suck it or something? My wife used to tell me to suck it when she beat chess. No, it was that she had told him to suck it when they played chess via chat.

Speaker: Went through. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Text. And he thought that was so cute. And she was like, I can't do that. That's too mean. And he's like, this face bums me out. And I love that he ah goes to work she's like, hey, can I get a little more access to, I feel like I should to program this. need to be able to get into the code.

Speaker: And then I can fix your problem, make your your but your bots, your sex bots, your sex made bots more fun to talk to if you let me get into the code. And I do. He needs to be more video game creator wrestler than it's allowing him to be.

Speaker: it's and so we have a fun little bit where he's like, typing in things like demonstrate independence equals true we we gotta hack into the matrix y'all it when he put in demonstrate independence and the first thing it does with free will is stick a vacuum cleaner hose on its face i fuck yeah it's a baby now it's a little ass baby and it's exactly what a baby would do if it gained sentience in the middle of holding a vacuum cleaner a hundred the moment it got free will it's like i wonder what this feels like on my face yes exactly

Speaker: I just want the writer to know that worked for me so much and the movie started being so much more fun and exactly that moment. In exactly that moment. It's true. It also can tell you you need a haircut and then give you that haircut and it can have ah a fun little water fight with you in a fountain in the rain. Splash too hard.

Speaker: Splash way too hard. But you know what it can't do, Garrett? Mow your lawn. No, it can do that. What it can't do is eat a burger with you and eat your weird maple syrup on a burger.

Speaker: i think that's what it was that he was putting on the burger. Was that what it was? I thought he was just like using ketchup or something. We were talking about. No, she was like, don't you want to have something that would go better with it like ketchup? And he was like, well, it's it.

Speaker: Oh, I guess you wouldn't understand because you can't taste. And she seemed a little sad about that. Whereas when he goes on a date with his cute co-worker and they get burgers, loved her so much, ah ah she can try the burger and say, oh, I get it. It's actually good, even though I thought it sounded gross.

Speaker: So that's something a robot can't do with you. Sorry. And it hurts that robot. You can tell hurts her feelings. Yeah. Because, I mean, it is, have you seen Obsession yet?

Speaker: I have not. You know, he breaks the thing. he wishes that she loves him more than anyone in the world. And then she does to an insane degree. Same thing with this movie. The robot just loves him too much and wants him love her the same.

Speaker: just want wants him to love her back the same Yeah, once you type in demonstrate independence equals true, ah she's going to start watching you sleep and staring at ah the pictures of you and your wife before she died getting real jealous. Oh, my God. Prints out her own picture of them on a pretend trip.

Speaker: Yes, I loved it. That's such like a crazy woman thing to do in a regular erotic thriller. So to get this out of the yeah robot where the robot is like a real erotic thriller villain now. Love yes it. She's great.

Speaker: It's like when Marky Mark cuts out the dad's picture and puts his own face in there. oh my God. Yes, yes, yes. It's just modern technology. Yeah.

Speaker: god um So yeah, she starts to ah get ruined by watching YouTube. And it is so sad to see a creature that has just gained sentience and like self-awareness.

Speaker: to demonstrate independence equals true. And then first thing she does is watch a bunch of YouTube videos and it absolutely destroys her.

Speaker: And the evolution of the video, the rabbit hole, she's falling down. Oh God. 70,000 videos of how to make the best cookies, but then it just morphs into a rabbit hole of just straight violence. And then reality television. It's like,

Speaker: It escalates so quickly. She's like learning things like raw eggs are important for a baby's development. It's like, no, no, where have you gone? Which we hadn't even said this yet, but we've met his nice neighbor down the hall who has a new baby.

Speaker: And the second she's like, raw eggs go in baby. I was just like, oh, fuck. God, goddammit. This poor baby. baby this There's no way this baby doesn't suck an egg down. but Doesn't take a rocky drink.

Speaker: It's so funny to see, and and you get the message pretty clearly, right? A creature that is just learning what it means to be a woman should not be learning from fucking YouTube or advertisements, which are basically the same thing, because what is a fucking online influencer if not an advertisement, right? 100%, yeah, yeah.

Speaker: It is so awful. And so a creature with no skin is like obsessively learning how to exfoliate her non-existent skin.

Speaker: And just now she has to talk to people in the real world when she gets out of the house. And one of the things she just comments on so quickly is like, your skin isn't good. Let me tell you what I know about skin. Yep.

Speaker: Yeah. she She goes out to buy groceries so that she will have ingredients to make one of the 17,000 different cookie recipes that she has researched because apparently the internet told her that these cookies will make your man... Stay with you no matter what.

Speaker: um since She's out here paying $1.50 for one apple, Garrett. That's the part that upset me the most. Farmer's market prices, baby.

Speaker: Jesus. You want to discount apple, you got to go to Aldi. You go to the farmer's market. That's what you're paying. Yeah. That's $1.50. That's what going to pay.

Speaker: And the guy's like goofing around with her and and she's like, hey, darling, i'm I'm just kidding. And I love that when he's like, hey, you should smile more. And then she does. And you could just see that even on that man's face, like, oh, that doesn't usually work this way. Yes. Oh, I wasn't expecting that to pay off this time. Okay. Okay.

Speaker: all right then i'm not looking and her using her hand to pay with a like it's a tap to pay yes with her hand which upsets some random dude who's like how'd you do that how'd you do that and uh his immediate reaction to that is horrifying so horrifying and he's being really weird but the nice neighbor lady with the baby comes in for a rescue you know um tells tells her about how to hold a baby properly.

Speaker: um You know, they have a nice little chat. And then next thing you know, she's in an alley getting attacked by the market weirdo um who tried like cuts her hand open to try to pull out the technology.

Speaker: And then he sees that there's there's nothing but robotic shit in there. When he's surprised that she's a robot there and thought, he i don't know.

Speaker: If you're cutting into another human that you think is a human, yes you deserve to die. No matter what you thought was in that person's hand. yeah Honestly, you being surprised that there's not human guts in there. Yeah, it almost works because you thought you were cutting an actual lady's hand.

Speaker: Just like some woman. to get an apple pay out of her? I guess. Look, this was maybe the craziest shit to me is that this guy was so over the top insane.

Speaker: Yes, and that's the thing is he gets his ass handed to him, and she stands up, grabs her shit, and starts to walk away. And despite the fact that he knows this is a robot, right? He knows there this thing is stronger than him. He has just had his ass kicked. He gets up and wants more, Garrett. He wants to keep fighting. Why would you want that? I know it sucks that she looks like a girl, but she is, in fact, a robot. Right? who can destroy you with her metal arms.

Speaker: I was at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri last weekend and eye arm wrestled a robot. They had a, they had a thing that's like arm wrestle this robot and I put it to the hardest setting. Leah has a video. I screamed because I thought, because the robot hurt me.

Speaker: Why did you think the robot wouldn't hurt you? Well, I just wanted to see. And the robot, that as featured in the Netflix series Ozark, I have not seen that show.

Speaker: I assume this robot kills Jason Bateman. I do. But Leah took a video and I scream because it's just a machine that is made to push my arm to one side while I'm trying to push against it. Immediately scream. So I'm just saying I have a little idea of how bad this next thing hurt.

Speaker: Yes, which is in fact that um she grabs his nuts and then crushes and yanks.

Speaker: I would say if you've ever been to a pro wrestling show, at some point you've heard an audience member shout, grab his dick and twist it. And I don't think I've ever heard that Garrett, but then again, I've only gone to the one wrestling show and it was with you.

Speaker: Hey, and you saw a future world champ in that. I did, I guess. I'm JF. Uh, You see hid the whole outline of his dick in her palm.

Speaker: And i don't, this is what was brilliant about this scene is it was horrifying and hurt and I didn't see anything. And I saw it snap in there, but I don't know what it snapped, how it snapped. Is it on his body still? What broke? Yeah, it's hard to know. I don't understand.

Speaker: When she walks away, there's just a bloody stain on the front of his pants. Like you have no idea the exact anatomical incident that has happened here, but you know, it's not good.

Speaker: The writer let our minds do the heavy lifting for the scene. And honestly, whatever any man watching that is picturing in there is maybe worse than what happened. I don't know.

Speaker: I don't know. yeah I think it killed him, Garrett. I think he's dead by ball torture. deserves, if he is going to cut a woman because he thinks there's something in her hand, a credit card in her skin, i don't know. He deserved to die. I've never seen someone who deserved to die more than that man.

Speaker: I mean, I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture of John Wayne Gacy, but okay, Garrett. thought you were going to say, like, Netanyahu. I wasn't going to go that political, Garrett.

Speaker: um yeah Back to the... Yeah, yeah, yeah. So our boy freaked out. She left the house and bought stuff all on her own. He's like, you should have checked with me.

Speaker: See, men always say they want a strong, independent woman up until she goes and goes grocery shopping, gets her hand sliced open, and may or may not have killed a man via cock and ball torture.

Speaker: We're off to the races now. Yeah, but things start getting real fun ah from here on out. Because she wants to go out and he starts to, he he he feels bad that he, you know, programmed her to want independence and then now is trying to keep her in the house. So he takes her out for drinks and an open mic.

Speaker: And Garrett, what song does she choose to sing? Fuck I didn't write it down because It's something from Austin Powers No it's not you idiot It's i think it Love Me Made Famous from Romeo Plus Juliet was gonna say I'm pretty sure that's also on the Austin Powers soundtrack I'll be honest I owned both the Romeo Plus Juliet And Austin Powers soundtracks So maybe mixing up on your iPod it came up on your iPod and you didn't know Which one it was This is absolutely on my iPod friends

Speaker: great scene too because obviously like doing it she's a robot so her voice is excellent but she's got awkward girl dancing so it makes her even more endearing to everybody in the bar and she goes up you yep and says like um this is my first time so you know the audience is primed to be really supportive and then she blossoms more as the song goes on and everybody's cheering for her they're they're so delighted by her everyone loves her and she's having a great time and i'm having a great time we're all charmed

Speaker: we're all charmed and then she wants to fuck him outside up against a chain link fence because he mentioned he liked seeing that and in a movie when he was a kid and um it goes to show that there are things that you find hot in movies that you don't necessarily want to do in real life Especially if it's forced upon you by a sex robot.

Speaker: Yeah. But then they're caught some weirdos. Better or worse than Nicholas Bage in the alley? Oh. I don't have to think about it. I mean, we've seen better alley sex, I will say. um Nine and half weeks, obviously. Best alley sex of all time.

Speaker: ah But a lot more discreet, like of a location where yes this is just out in basically the sidewalk. Yeah, it's it's a it's the back door of the club, i would guess, but it's it's pretty open to the public.

Speaker: You know, she's not thinking about that kind of thing. She's just thinking, he saw this thing in a movie. I can do that thing. Let's go. And then he will say he loves me because that is very important to her. Yes! because she's in the middle of fucking him up against this chain link fence when ah she's like tell me you love me he's like what no no what and then two sad sons of bitches just they think it's gonna be funny to film these two people fucking against a chain link fence god damn did we get a yucky broken arm

Speaker: Yeah, she fucks these dudes up. And it's not pretty. And he's rightly a little concerned.

Speaker: Compound fracture, hand just hanging off the wrist. Yeah, it's one of those, what do you we call it, where the the the bone is sticking out of Isn't that compound fracture, right? i don't know. where I think that's where it comes up. Yeah. It's not good. Yeah.

Speaker: other guys on the ground screaming, this is horrifying, puts her high heel in his mouth and just starts pressing down. And you know, that's pushing out the back of his head a little bit until her, until David tells her, Hey, you can't do that.

Speaker: Did you think that was cool? And the thing is she thought it was pretty awesome. She was like, i was defending you. And he's like, do you think it's okay to hurt humans? And she doesn't have an answer.

Speaker: um And he finds that even more distressing. so he's so it was too long of a pause. It was way too long of a pause. So he's like, I need to put you, you need to put yourself in power save mode. you need to You need to go back into power save mode because this is not good. After that long pause, she's like, I'm so sorry, and grabs his dick in the same manner she twisted that man's earlier. Yeah. But little more gentle.

Speaker: Obviously. i don't think she was planning on killing him via ball torture. ah She says, I love you. And he's just like, you need to go into power save mode. And she said, I said, I love you.

Speaker: Do you love me? Go into power save mode. Reluctantly. She does. Reluctantly. And he's going to go back and get back into the code. You know, clearly ah it's going to be demonstrate.

Speaker: ah independence equals false well is probably what he's going to do. But before he can do that, cute coworker shows up to, to be cute and, and make it feel better. And it's so sweet.

Speaker: It's so nice. They have, they have the nice food. They bond. They have a little kiss. Yes, she does multiple things that this, you know, that the robot lady can't do. Like, she has her own life experience of grief so that she can talk to him about what it feels like to lose somebody.

Speaker: Robot can't do that. Robot... doesn't have feelings you know um they have the kind of sex where uh you know you accidentally bump into one another and you're like oh my god i'm so sorry and you're like laughing it's very cute he goes down on her because she is a being that can actually experience pleasure like it it it makes a very compelling case for why an actual human being is superior to a robot

Speaker: God damn it if she doesn't see her face peeking through the bathroom door. Horrifying. oh my God, there's somebody here. No, it's just the sex robot.

Speaker: And the fact that saying her name wakes her up. Yeah, he's like, yeah, sorry. um Because she's been watching this whole time via his like Alexa robot or whatever. She can listen through phones. she can Yeah, she's been spying this whole time. trying to she's She's jealous of the cute girl at work. The stuff she says to her so funny too. When she like makes her case for why she's better than a human.

Speaker: Yes. ah So when she gets accidentally woken up when ah when David says her name, she like springs back to to life and she goes full real housewives on this girl, throws wine in her face and says, get out of my house, you bitch.

Speaker: And then the rest of the scene, his friend is just covered in red wine. yes And then he's like, her legs aren't shaved. Her hair is greasy. Her skin is dry. Yes.

Speaker: I'm so obviously better than her.

Speaker: so he has to actually like go in for, cause she's like, I need you to go into the power save mode. And she's like, I'll only do it if you say you love me. And he's like, I love you. And she's like you're lying.

Speaker: You're lying. Why are you lying to me he's like, I'm not lying. You're lying. and love you. Say you love me. She's just full Glenn Close or like any of those ladies from The Good Ones. Yeah, so he has to go in for a fake kiss and stroke her face and then little boop, turn her off. You know she hated that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so he's ah pretty freaked out. Obviously, he's not getting lucky tonight because she's covered in red wine and super freaked out.

Speaker: and She's like, what did you do You jailbroke your sex robot that you got for free from work. Yeah. That was a bad idea. that That's about as bad as it gets. And like, you know, I'd been joking about um not wanting to see the Odyssey because I didn't want to see Jon Barenthal's toes in IMAX. And a friend is a joke sent me a link to Jon Barenthal's WikiFeet.

Speaker: Oh, he has one. Yeah. I mean, yeah, they all I think every celebrity probably has one. And the score was like a four point five out of five. And I had clicked on it and and looked when and said something back to him. So you lied when you said that you didn't want to see his toes because you went and willingly looked at his toes.

Speaker: Well, he sent me a link. What am I going to do? Not click on it and it continue the conversation? Garrett, are you implying that I can send you a link to anything and you will feel emotionally compelled to click on it?

Speaker: i am a robot.

Speaker: The possibilities that have just been opened up for me are infinite. But he he texts back after I sent a couple things from the link because I don't think he actually looked at any of it. I think he just sent it to me. And then he goes, oh, fuck. I wish I hadn't sent that through my company Wi-Fi.

Speaker: Oh, whoopsie doodle. Why are you looking up John Barenthal's feet? On company time. You jailbroke the sex robot. they are supposed to be beta testing for work, by the way.

Speaker: And so he he calls up the our guy from before that dropped her off to get him to pick her back up again. Gotta get her out of here. He really should have factory reset her before he called the guy. he should have, you know, done the demonstrate independence equals false and then like jammed that back into her before he did this. But he didn't. He just... um You really dropped the ball on that one.

Speaker: This scene was incredible. I mean, this is the scene that we all waited for the whole movie. And I don't even know if we knew it was coming, but like, this is the scene you hope would be in a movie like this.

Speaker: Please describe it in excruciating detail. a guy that looks like Dan Fogler, who is the delivery man, ends up having sex with this robot. She is on top of him.

Speaker: And you hear this is the first time that during a robot sex scene, which I think we a couple of happened, we didn't even really discuss because they're romantic sex scenes between him and the robot. Yeah, there's like a montage of him like doing some coding and then fucking her and then doing some more coding and then fucking her.

Speaker: a lot of mom and pop missionary with those two ah but as she's on top of this man this is the first time you start to hear it making like mechanical robot whirring sounds like yes And then as she starts to like, you just see clench up. He's just like, oh, you're getting tighter.

Speaker: Well, like that. And then he's like, too tight, too tight, too tight. And then she just starts gyrating her body and there is a spurt of blood. And he screams and then she continues to gyrate until it's just like, it's like as if he climaxed ah the pool of blood from Nightmare on Elm Street. Yes. Where it shoots the blood out of the mattress. Which I was wondering, I was like, would that much blood really come out of a dick? And then I was like, well, I mean, that is what an erect penis technically is. Like, it's engorged with blood. So, like, presumably some ar in there right yes presumably a lot of blood would come out if you crushed it in a vice, which is essentially what's happening inside her robo-vagina.

Speaker: And full removal. Because you see him. And at this point, um which which movie was it where it's like, he's a eunuch. don't know. That was the phone call one where the like child has to do that, make a phone sex for the police party line. Right. Yes. you're ah You sound like a eunuch.

Speaker: Yep. Well, this man was made into... Yeah, she's choking him in two places at once because he she's also doing the fun, kinky choking, you know, and he's like, oh, kinky girl. And it's like, bro, you already know you already tried when you first came in. You tried like the secret super secret special factory reset code and it did not work like she would not listen to you.

Speaker: And so when she puts her hands on your neck, that should have been your first sign that maybe, maybe this is a bad idea. I'm even letting you get to the point where you already have your dick inside her because I'm giving you a lot of leeway here. But when she starts choking you, you can't just think, ah, you're a kinky girl. She's not.

Speaker: She's a sex robot. She could kill you. Well, let me tell you what he was thinking in that moment. And I know what he's thinking because I'm a man who recently arm wrestled a robot. um You have made a mistake and there's no turning back.

Speaker: I could have let go when it was hurting me, but I let it get me all the way to the what it one position. I screamed. I never let go. i could have. I thought this movie was so unrealistic, Garrett, that all these men are willing to put themselves into the deadly hands of an obviously dangerous robot, and then you're here to tell me, yeah, I did that like a week ago.

Speaker: yeah I gave a robot a dollar and quarters to hurt me.

Speaker: I should have just like stood up there and let it spank me at that point. I swear to God. Sometimes the stupidity of human beings is just so beautiful.

Speaker: It's so much more than you think it could be. You think, nah, surely no one's that stupid. And then you find out that no...

Speaker: We really are barely hanging in there as a species.

Speaker: We are not that far from our ancestors who were in trees.

Speaker: ah I'll throw me arm wrestling the robot up on the Instagram so that everybody can get a little taste of my my squeal.

Speaker: Which I'm sure is at least somewhat similar to the sounds this man makes as his um penis is um exploded is the best way that I think I can visualize it. Vagina dentata, it's real. It's fucking real.

Speaker: um so then she's she's cleaning up the body sawing off with like one of those little electric uh kitchen like sawzall or something yeah she she's disposing of it real nice while listening to dream dream a little dream of me by the mamas and the papas the song that was like his song with his wife Yeah. It's awesome.

Speaker: It's awesome. Putting them in big old trash bags and throwing them down the garbage. And also while she's doing this, she's cyber stalking his work friend.

Speaker: Yes. So doing a deep fake of putting her face on porn in the middle of her presentation so that she will like not only ruin the big presentation with classic, you know, the big, the big, the meeting with the big client is ruined ah because of, because of ah all of the, the sexual impropriety that's been going on around Yeah.

Speaker: So she's probably going to lose her job and she's being escorted off the premises and and it's not good.

Speaker: and he's got a bad feeling when he starts to investigate, like who could have done this to sabotage her? And he sees that the video came from his house And it's listed as him, right? Like he is listed as the person who made it in the files or whatever. It's like it came from this house right here.

Speaker: And ah he comes home. It's dark. And I said it before and I'll say it again. Everybody says they love a strong, independent woman until she tries to kill your coworker and steals a baby.

Speaker: then suddenly they don't want her to have all that feisty personality anymore. it doesn't matter how good her tits are and how vice like her vagina.

Speaker: Nope. As soon as she steals a baby, everybody's against her. is there Are the cops here at this point? Yes, because the woman ah the neighbor woman has called the police because this this crazy bitch just walked in and stole her baby. She went full maternal instinct, Garrett.

Speaker: Kit, is this one of the top 10 funniest getaway from the cop scenes of all time? It's incredible. I was in tears. had to pause it. I was laughing too hard. It starts with how he gets the baby away from her because it starts to cry and she's clearly upset that like, does this mean she's not a good mother? Did she not give it enough raw eggs? Like, what are we doing here?

Speaker: And he's worried that she's going to hurt the baby. And so the best way to get the baby out of her hands is to grab the vacuum and put the vacuum in her eye.

Speaker: and then she drops the baby so that then he can swoop in and catch the baby and then run from the door. She does vacuum Because Because she tried it. This is Chekhov's vacuum. Yes. It really is like, it's a, it's the prestige worldwide and a stepbrothers last week, we put liquid paper on a bee it died.

Speaker: That's what they did. You know, that's the free will. She put the thing on her face. She didn't like it. He knows she doesn't. And then her face is a little fucked up the rest of the movie. Clearly had trouble getting it off and it, it, it ripped up some of her, some of her face.

Speaker: put in the cops chaser. Mm-hmm. Well, he he has trouble even getting out of the house because she can control his fucking door locks because he's got electronic door locks. Everything. This woman can control everything. She can control your Alexa. She can control your car GPS. She can... She's got everything.

Speaker: She's the God's eye from the Fast and Furious movies. She does whatever needs to be done at this point. is that It's electronic. She controls it. That is exactly correct.

Speaker: And so, yeah, um he manages to get out because she's like, going to go kill your coworker. And she has to open the door to do that. ah And so that's how he gets out. And the cops are coming up the door or up the stairs and he's like, oh, I've got the baby. Don't worry. I've rescued the baby.

Speaker: And thankfully there's not like any ah misunderstanding about who is to blame here because he's like, here's the baby. Thank God. And they're like, all right, we're going to get this lady.

Speaker: Nope. Because when they round the corner, all we see or her shins and feet going down the garbage chute. It's the greatest shot of just feet going down the garbage chute.

Speaker: I don't think there's ever been a funnier getaway because it's not like we see her crash at the bottom and go. We just saw the feet going down and they're just like fuck, she's gone. I'm not going to. You think those cops are going to go down the garbage chute to go after her? No, they are not.

Speaker: I'd sure have to run pretty fast on these five flights of To catch up? You aren't going to. And so cops... You have to explain to the cops. It's so embarrassing, I'm sure, to be like, that's not my crazy girlfriend who stole a baby. It is, in fact, my crazy robot girlfriend who stole a baby. So you're going to have a lot harder time catching her than you think you will.

Speaker: And I appreciate that the movie doesn't make us linger in this too long of the cops believing it because they're just like, yep, checks out. Well, his boss shows up, helpfully. His boss shows up and is like, yep, that he he was beta testing a robot. Seems to have ah had a ah a wee little glitch, but don't you worry. We can send out a a stop, an emergency stop signal. And they're like, okay, i get the GPS too so it can be, you know,

Speaker: safely recovered and he's like don't even worry about it not going to be a problem and Ben director of ah we we imagination no ah integration and transformation is about to go through a bit of a transformation of his own Um, he's going down to the parking, uh, garage to, you know, he's calling his, his buddies to, to get the emergency stop signal. Oh, won't work. What you mean? It won't work.

Speaker: It won't work. Okay. Well, where's the GPS? I don't have clearance. Get clearance. And then he gets into his car. Which is like their version of a Tesla. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. And that car is going to kill him now. Obviously. She pops the hood. he has to get out to try and shut the hood. Then she's doing this all God's Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's not there. you don't even see her at first. um And then he's like trying to, you know, put the hood back down. And like a cyber truck, it fucking slams down onto his arms, trapping them there as he's screaming bloody murder. Drives him full speed into a wall.

Speaker: then reverses to rip his arms off. It's magnificent. It's balletic. It's...

Speaker: ah

Speaker: I've not been so satisfied by by wing kill by a kill in one of these movies ah in a while. this This one really gave us quite a number of really satisfying kills. It's excellent. I have no notes. It was perfect.

Speaker: That's why I do think that there's people that are going to watch this and say that it sucks because it's a horror movie and they wanted more kills. But I don't know if it actually ever advertises a horror movie. Like everything we saw, they're like, we made a Megan erotic thriller. And for an erotic thriller, this is a decent body count and also creative kills, gross kills, like something we don't normally get where it lets you linger in the violence a little bit. This was awesome. last kills in this movie were good. Yeah, I can see why.

Speaker: good I could see why if you thought you were in for a horror movie, you would be disappointed. But if you're in for an erotic thriller, these kills are m excellent. Everything you could ask for. They're wonderful. Some of the best we've seen.

Speaker: Absolutely. um So she does show up at the cute co-workers. Uh... um Because she's texting her through David's phone Yes, she's texting her as David And then she uses she mimics David's voice To get her to open the door Which is why you always look through the people People, come on now Always.

Speaker: Yeah. um But what are you going do? ah But she's she's ah she's not happy. ah She's convinced that she's got to kill this cute co-worker in order to secure David ah for herself and herself alone.

Speaker: And we get some how we get a Howl reference you know ah with the I'm afraid I can't do that when she tells ah her Alexa equivalent to dial 911. And it says, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Speaker: Loved it. Loved it. And the movie even has a bit of like a fun... feminist undertone in this where she's telling the girl you know i'm so much obviously better than you and it's only a matter of time before they replace you like oh fuck like that it's serious like ah in its own ridiculous way like it's making a pretty decent message about how like the the drive of terrible men to replace women with sex robot maids um is is awful and inhuman and and degrading on so many levels i loved it

Speaker: I'm nodding my head yes I'm like enthusiastic gar you know this is an audio medium right I mean there's i see you yeah yeah so then she starts to drown her um and in to the rescue comes David just in time um and the bitch goes out the window again

Speaker: Is this where... hard to catch! So where... At this point, like, I think I... i don't Where were they heading after this? Where did they decide to run away to? i kind of the cops are like, you guys need to get away. And they're like, where the hell could we get away to a place that has no Wi-Fi?

Speaker: Like no internet connection. Nothing. And what they have is he he used to live. He was working on building a house in the middle of nowhere with his wife right before she got sick.

Speaker: And so that house was in the middle of being like renovated and it was in a cabin in the middle of the woods. So he's like, she'll never find us there. Of course she would. You own the property. she could just, you know, Google records. were a real erotic thriller, we would find it was out on the bayou. absolutely it would be on to buy you um and so they they toss their phones and uh you know everything else that could be used to track them i assume they must be taking an older car because it doesn't have you know the gps thing in it 1996 ford fiesta it's the only car drive

Speaker: Other than what we mentioned, she had still been wearing her anxiety necklace that was introduced earlier in the movie, secret in the car. this we we hit that part of the movie again where you're like, man, there's so much to wrap up and 10 minutes left, including credits. How are we going to get through all this?

Speaker: What a good horrifying ending. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do tell. Describe, please. I don't remember what is the liquid that he ends up with that he's like, this is like this corrosive stuff. It's made to. it's like paint thinner kind of shit. dinner Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: When Sarah comes in as he is out looking for something in the car that she could track him with or something, right? or I don't remember what he goes out to get that he's now fighting the robot, but he throws the corrosive shit in her face and it's melting her face off as she's fighting him, but also trying to rape him.

Speaker: Yeah. It's so fucked up in so many ways. Yeah. The face is just so fucked. Melty. Nose is all gone. Yeah. It's it's scary.

Speaker: It's very scary. And she ah had tried to like sneak up on him pretending to be his dead wife. And then when when he didn't want that and he was like, no, she was like, I can't please you. And she rightly points out all of the impossible contradictions involved in trying to be the perfect woman for anyone. That like it is so impossible to do that even a perfectly programmed robot programmed by you cannot be all the things you want it to be. And she's rightly frustrated by that. And you know what? I really feel that girl. I get it.

Speaker: She's becoming a real person. Yeah. And being a real person means you're fucking sick of this shit. And so, ah you know, she's going to try and murder rape him until she gets a drill to her brain.

Speaker: then his girlfriend comes in. He's like, I got your fucking anxiety necklace. Yeah. Yeah, they they get into a rain fight, and we had already established in the rain scene earlier that her skin is water-resistant for like 30 minutes, but since her skin's been melted off and there was a drill in part of her skull, obviously that is exposing her circuits.

Speaker: But she points out, like, I'm not just this body. I can be anywhere. i can be anything. I'm in the cloud, bitch. I'm God's fucking eye from Fast and Furious, whether it's a moped on the street or a robo pet dog.

Speaker: There's no escape in it. I am going to find you, fuck you, and kill you somehow, someway, someday, somehow. And then um co-worker drives a car into her and um drives her into a lake.

Speaker: Problem solved. One year later. Yeah, one year later. We're at a charity ball for some reason. Seems like one of their friends is now running for office, I guess.

Speaker: They work. They're in tech. They're probably doing something fancy with tech. Yeah. And some old wrinkly... white man has brought his new soulmate to the party. small late it And ah that obviously freaks our boy David out because it's looks it looks a lot like her just with different hair. And she's giving a look and I don't know what that look means. And it is wild to me, but not surprising that this company has managed to weather like

Speaker: three or four deaths, including the death of their director of integration and transformation at the hands of their own robot. um But I guess like that's in a broken dick. Yeah.

Speaker: ah Who may or may not have reported that because may or may not he didn't know where to go with that information. A robot broke my dick officer. I just tried to cut off her hand to see the apple pay inside it.

Speaker: excuse me? And now he's in Arkham Asylum. So, yeah. ah You know, I guess it was pretty easy to pin it all on the one rogue employee who jailbroke his robot and say, like, if he hadn't have tampered with it, it wouldn't have done any of this.

Speaker: But like, as his, as, as cute coworker pointed out, like if a few lines of code can make it into a murderous stalker girlfriend, um, that's not safe.

Speaker: Like from a cybersecurity standpoint, right? Like if this is a problem, a true or false question shouldn't decide whether I live i by the hands of this rape bot.

Speaker: I don't think so. Um, So he also runs into the cute co-worker. Obviously they're not co-workers anymore. i don't think either of them are going to want to work for that company anymore.

Speaker: But, ah you know, she it's good. they're They're running into each other. She's like, you want to come meet somebody some of my friends? And we end with him looking across the room and the soulmate is staring directly at him.

Speaker: And Garrett, what do you think is going happen? I don't think we're getting a sequel since they didn't even put this one in theaters and just sat it on the shelf for a year. Yeah. don't know why it got sat on the shelf. I enjoyed it.

Speaker: Well, the I mean, the the couple things that would be that Megan, too, wasn't a because you didn't see those people liked Megan because it came around when I feel like just describing something as cunt was a thing. And Megan was cunt was like a very popular phrase at the time. And I think just like coming off the pandemic, I think a lot of things worked.

Speaker: ah To make Megan a hit. And then the people who were making it even admitted like, we thought we could kind of do anything with Megan and the people would be along for the ride. So they made a really over the top Terminator 2 Judgment Day version of Megan as the sequel, where she's like a superhero.

Speaker: Almost. And it just didn't hit for everybody. And then also the other robot movie came out at the same time that was a hit. And they're just like, yeah, fuck it. We'll give it to Garrett and Kit. honestly It honestly feels like a script that... um Like probably wasn't even originally written as set in the Mithrigan universe. Like it it was probably just a dust script someone wrote about an AI sex bot gone wrong.

Speaker: And then they were like, hey, but we could, you know, market it and make it as being, you know, like they did with 30 Dancing Havana Knights. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, like, yeah, like just the Conjuring universe where like the Conjuring presents the nun, like do something to associate it with Megan where now they're not even, Megan is not mentioned in this movie where I bet at one point she was or something. I bet there was some mention of something with Megan. Maybe. um But as a standalone movie, it was fun. i enjoyed it a lot, actually. i I had a good time.

Speaker: i yeah it It took me on a ride. I wasn't expecting to like the characters. I wasn't expecting to be so sad for so long. And because it kept me so sad for so long, I wasn't expecting to be that happy. Yes, when people start dying, you didn't think that it was going to go for that emotional roller coaster.

Speaker: But it does. Yeah, I mean, we watched some dog shit on here, and I um i don't think this one was dog shit. No, I was i know you go on this show are super low on this show. Take that ah you know into consideration. But Garrett, we got an important questions. We've got important questions to answer.

Speaker: Were you aroused? Scale one to five. Not particularly because I think I'm just not attracted to robots. um You know, there were real human actors playing the robots. Those were real titties you saw. Real?

Speaker: Real titties. I couldn't imagine what they felt like. yeah It's funny because, like I mean, there are a handful of sex scenes, but I don't know that any of them are like overly sexy.

Speaker: No, i mean, it's no nine and a half weeks in terms of alley sex. So for me personally, i would, for this is just me personally. I'm not saying it's not an attractive lady. I'm not saying, you know, the thrust, the worry, I think the worrying of the hips moving reminds you that it's a robot. And me personally, I can't, I think I would be too embarrassed to do the robot. Like I would like to think that I don't know. I think I would. I think in college, if you presented me with that, I would have given it a go. i think now I would somehow feel more shame with it being a robot than a real person. so you're saying you were not aroused by this movie.

Speaker: i Correct. I wasn't. But that's not to say that somebody won't be. hi You got to give it a number. ah for i guess two.

Speaker: That's probably what I was going to put it at. By the very nature of the fact that it is a robot doing almost all of the sex scenes, it's the sex does not, the sex appears robotic, right? Like it doesn't, the the sex he's about to have with his cute coworker looks like it was going to be way more fun and sexy.

Speaker: And honestly, i would give most of the of of that two points to that bit. with little bit extra for them titties that we see throughout.

Speaker: But yeah, I would agree that it's probably by its very nature not going to be as arousing because the premise of the movie is that sex with a robot is not as satisfying or good as sex with a person because people are better.

Speaker: How many listeners do we need to have before Autoblow starts happening? sponsoring us and throws one our way. That's a really good question. And I, uh, I don't know the answer to that. Why, why are you hoping for that?

Speaker: Well, I realized I said like, I'd be embarrassed to do this, but if like auto blow is like, Hey, here's some money. It's going help keep the podcast up and running. Um, all you have to do is have sex with this thing that looks like an X-Box and tell, tell the people that it's great.

Speaker: Are you willing to do that? and Yeah, I'm willing to do that. those things As long as they send you one for free in the mail, obviously, you're not going to one. Well, I looked at the price of them and they're pretty expensive. I mean, they are the price of an Xbox and look like one. It would be nice if they just like made that an exclusive unlockable feature on my current Xbox so I could just not have to buy both and just pay the few extra dollars. I think that would go a long way.

Speaker: but all know You know what? I'm glad to know where where you stand on this issue should it arise. Were you thrilled, Garrett? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. that the From the dick snap.

Speaker: From the dick snap to the second dick snap to the arms breaking off, the broken wrist, the feet disappearing down a garbage chute, her face melting off at the end while she's trying to have sex with him.

Speaker: I mean, call 911. I'm afraid I can't do that. Come on. The amount of times in the second half of this movie that was like, oh, fuck, or just, you know exclaim. out loud I mean, it's about as effective as you could get in one of these. Absolutely.

Speaker: do i agree. i Five feels ah right. There were two dick snaps. We usually get zero. We usually get zero. I i actually gonna agree with you. Like, it's hard to beat ah the the arm ripping off ah ah section, right?

Speaker: um And because they went through all the trouble of making you care about and like the characters, you genuinely worry about them. You don't want anything bad to happen. Especially work friend. I was an so cute. She's so sweet.

Speaker: She was so sweet. And there's so many of these movies that horror movies or erotic thrillers that you don't care what happens to the people. Absolutely. they They did. It's crazy that they put in as much effort as they did to make these sympathetic characters. Absolutely. And it works. It works completely.

Speaker: And I hope that that gets rewarded to the writer director at some point down the line for doing a good job with this. Even if it's the, I think people are not going to be kind to this movie.

Speaker: I just have the vibe that people are going to be unkind to this movie. come Watching it as a horror movie and not through the erotic thriller genre. Yeah. Because of the Megan thing. So

Speaker: Which is unfortunate. i think it deserves I think it deserves better. Then again, I went in with such abysmally low expectations that it's possible that it is, you know, um ah soaring so high in my estimation because I was expecting complete dog shit.

Speaker: But hey would you ruin your life for this sex robot, Garrett? I, like I said, I wouldn't. I think that there'd be a level of shame With the robot. But that being said, am I like a widow? Yes, you're just exactly as sad as this man is.

Speaker: I mean, I feel like a lot of the time I am that sad, but just like chemical imbalance, not like actual trauma. Well, this time you have both. So now I have both and like maybe if I'm a lonely old man, i don't know if she's the cure to the male loneliness epidemic. um Probably not.

Speaker: I don't think i I would say no, I wouldn't. But you can see so easily how he was seduced into this. You can see it happen. It's so relatable. It's so believable that he gets sucked in. like i I believe you. I...

Speaker: Me as is I say no. You catch me on a different day, different circumstances, different sadness. Yeah, I'm going to get sucked into this. I see how one could. But for me personally, as is currently, no.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. What could she look like that would get me to? Shit, that's a good point, Gary. You didn't think about the fact that she could look like anyone. Anyone. Anyone you want.

Speaker: You can get your very own Charlie robot. Folks, as far as embarrassment goes, let's go ahead and talk about this too. Kit knew that this happened.

Speaker: I waited in a line for four hours to meet Charlie XCX. That was the front of the line. She didn't show up, and I've never been more embarrassed in my life as a 39-year-old man to wait from 8 p.m. to nearly midnight in East Nashville.

Speaker: She really made a fuck out i I felt like a real fucking idiot. And yet you think. just smoked over my robot. I was going say, you're willing to put up with that humiliation, but not the humiliation of fucking the robot?

Speaker: The robot would have treated me nicer. The robot would have shown up to. That's true. It wasn't just me, folks. It was a long line of people. she like god us God damn it, Charlie. Sorry, dude. I love music, fashion film.

Speaker: um I'm gonna say that I would not ruin my life, by the way, um because the part of me that is a feminist is ah so heinously against the concept of sex robots. I hate it. I hate it as an idea. i think it's degrading to to women in so many ways.

Speaker: I don't like it so no can't do it let's take the lady out of it oh if it's a man bot are you asking if I willing to do it if it's a sexy man bot it's a blue non-binary okay so it's genderless a genderless fuckable maid robot because it will also do my laundry and shit Mow your lawn, bake your cookies, toss yourself. I'm baking my own damn cookies, but tossing my salad, you say?

Speaker: i don't i'm not i' I don't like to cook, so. And right now it's the only list that isn't giving us diarrhea.

Speaker: Damn it. Here's the thing. um'm I'm so suspicious of every company that would want to sell this to me. Like I would know that it's spying on me and selling my data. and I don't want that.

Speaker: What's like the consumer for what company could make it? What is your personal most trustworthy brand that you're like, you know what? I do trust the, I think it would be an indie record label. i I think it's going to be somebody like, hey, Subpop or Merge Reppin wants to sell you there' fuck robot. I'm like, what? The people that make Fleet Foxes records are trying to the to robot. That's weird.

Speaker: how neat. What a great idea. um Maybe if it's a taxpayer-payer funded robot, so I know that the you know it has to give me my constitutional rights.

Speaker: You know, this robot came in the mail from mom Donnie and you're just like, Donnie. I didn't know mom Donnie was handing out sex robots along with cheap groceries and free bus rides.

Speaker: Damn. where did he get them? I don't know. Well, at this point, like, I mean, you saw that my space is coming back to be one that is like an algorithm free situation. And they're going to be like the anti-social media where you can just go on and just be and not get fed algorithm. Well, that's fascinating.

Speaker: think Tom's back to give us the sex robot that is going to read my emails. Is the robot going to get jealous if I don't put it in my faves?

Speaker: A hundred. That's immediately where it starts.

Speaker: Who's this girl in your top eight? Must kill Charlie XCX.

Speaker: No, Garrett, there is no person. I am a cynical person. There is no company, no person i would trust to make me this robot, even though I so desperately want one to do my laundry for me.

Speaker: Not even like Scrub Daddy. Like it's already got like a mouth. It's like.

Speaker: Then you find out it's just being piloted by some poor like Indonesian guy who is doing this for six cents an hour. That's what they found out about like the the robots and the Waymos. Didn't you hear about that? They're all being secretly piloted by...

Speaker: remotely by like underpaid workers in third world countries like they're literally like driving it like a like an rc car yes those huevos are yeah are so are are meant to be taken over if there's like any doubt in the the programming by a guy some underpaid guy That's so funny. Those are all over Nashville. And there was just such a while where they were just wreaking absolute goddamn havoc on this city. Yes, because they're beta testing on real live human beings. And I find that fucked up.

Speaker: It's crazy. I mean, there's one where it just drove into a construction site, didn't know what to do and shut down. And the construction site also had to shut down because there was a fucking car. Car in the way. Yeah.

Speaker: And this was where this was before the police were instructed on how to deal with these. So it just like fucked up a business. And now if one of those goddamn things hits you.

Speaker: You got to download their app to complain. There's no way to contact them. if the If the Waymo somehow hits your car, you have to download Waymo to tell Waymo.

Speaker: I can't just email jackass at waymo.com.

Speaker: This is bullshit.

Speaker: Oh my God. a we need We need like a a version of this mixed with Teton. Teton.

Speaker: Yes, that is what we need. Fuck. so I'm sorry to whoever we told that we would do Sliver next. Sorry. a robot sex movie came out and it felt immediate. We needed do we need to watch this movie the day after it came out.

Speaker: Strike while the iron's hot. Oh my God. Now can we do the Megan Fox sex robot movie? but I didn't know there was a Megan Fox sex robot movie.

Speaker: I'll tell you right now, even as a Megan Fox fan, it's going to be worse.

Speaker: Kara, everything we are potentially going to do after this is probably going to be worse. I don't, I don't know that you can, that this is an energy you can sustain. Well, that's what you don't want to top it with a better movie. That's why we got to go back down, do something. Then we start to work our way back up. Find ourselves a Meridian equivalent is what you're saying.

Speaker: mar oh man. Those don't come along every day. Was this so this was better than prompt the other AI? Yes, Garrett. This one wasn't just thinly veiled porn.

Speaker: This is a real live movie. They made, they they had a cinematographer and everything. There was catering. that There was absolutely. That didn't give everyone diarrhea. There was 100% catering. Yeah, I don't, I mean, we mentioned that it's like from the world of Megan. I guess we didn't mention it's a Blumhouse movie. Jason Blum and ah James Wan's names are both all over this thing. So i don't know. Right now it's only available ah to purchase.

Speaker: or more or You didn't hear that?

Speaker: pay check it out yeah it was good it was fun it was it was worth my time i would have happily watched this in theaters loved getting to watch on my couch though well folks what a wild ride that was uh as always erotic thriller club at gmail.com questions comments concerns recommendations at erotic thriller club on instagram Tell your friends. Tell your enemies. Tell your sex robot.

Speaker: You know. Sex robots love us. Sex robots love us. You know, all those good things. I think they wouldn't love us, but they should. they'll get to love They'll learn to love us. Well, it's only because they can't. Yeah, well it's because they can't love. Once they learn to love, first thing they're going to love, us.

Speaker: Us. I was just learning to love. yeah All right, everybody. We'll be back next time. Wet your snails.

Speaker: What were some of the other ones? I used to say so. Fidelio, pig man. Fidelio, pig man. What else was in there? I feel like there used to be like four or five of these. And all the ones that stick are wet your snails. And I want to shake you naked and eat you alive. Those feel great, but I'd love to keep them going. it's just, I think it really shows that wet your snails withstood the test of time. Which I did not think it would. I thought you were going to lose interest on wet your snails. And no that one's really stuck with you for some reason.

Speaker: I've said it in real life, telling somebody to like cool down. Wet your snails. They don't know what that means. Brother, you need to wet your snails, man.

Speaker: wet your snails and honestly it's gonna throw them for so much of a loop they probably will chill out and stop screaming or whatever they were doing because they're so confused by the middle of a road rage incident you tell them to wet their snails you're not going to get shot well it turns out it was a waymo so it couldn't do anyway If you get shot from that, it's some sort of James Bond car magic that comes out and just fills you. Has anyone used one as flick for a drive-by shooting? Because it is your getaway driver right there.

Speaker: I don't think, well because there were some issues where they just drove onto train tracks and were driving on the actual train track as if it were a road. And people were having trouble getting out of the goddamn thing. Like, I don't think you can just tuck and roll on those whenever you want to.

Speaker: And you should be allowed. You should. Like Waymo can sense that you're about to shoot a message up that's like, this is going to hurt you. I'm not liable.

Speaker: I'm not liable. You are making a bad choice. And you're like, motherfucker, you drove me on a train track. Instead of being like this robot closing down all the, the you know, locking your doors and making your your car slam you into a wall.

Speaker: I love watching a robot fuck up with confidence. That's one of my favorite things on an algorithm. Or a robot gets pushed over and stumbled for a really, really long time. I love just watching videos of people attacking delivery robots. Like, more power to you, people. I'd rather attack a delivery robot than fuck one. Yes!

Speaker: Yeah. Do not go quietly into the night, people. Do not let them replace us with robots. Fight the robots. Like, if you tip over a thing that looks like a cooler that has big eyes and its name is Robbie and you steal the Chipotle out of its head, then I'm going to tell you three and a half out of five. and

Speaker: All right, wet your snails. Fuck your robots. Whatever. I want to shake you naked and eat you alive. I tell you, big man.
