Introduction and Passion for Unique Brews

00:00:01
Speaker
This is the Garage Avenger Podcast.
00:00:10
Speaker
Hello and welcome to the Garage Avenger Podcast. I'm Justin, trying to share the joy of building my non-street legal death machines in my garage in the hope of one day making a living off it.
00:00:22
Speaker
And I'm Kieran, trying to turn my garage brewed copy luwak beer into a world-renowned brew. What is a copy luwak? They're the monkeys that eat the coffee beans and shit them out and then they make coffee with them.
00:00:43
Speaker
So I'm assuming they drink beer and then piss it out and then you just bottle it or... Carbonate it and sell it, yeah. yeah or they eat a bunch of hops and then you just bottle their piss or shit or something and then put it in a brew.
00:00:59
Speaker
yeah fermented Yeah, ferment Yeah, ferment it. Fermented monkey piss. Yeah. So glad you think so highly of my beers.

Brewing Experiences and Podcast Journey

00:01:12
Speaker
We're going to get into that later. Yeah, we are twin brothers with a passion for creating the wild and unexpected. And every week we try to take you through an everyday life of what's happening in our garages. So welcome everybody. Welcome.
00:01:28
Speaker
ah let's just get straight into this. We're recording a little late this week and just been busy, basically. yeah Life. um I don't want to play the intro. I just wanted to say, what are you drinking, Kieran?
00:01:43
Speaker
ah Let's just, you you know, we should just do this. Oh, yeah. ah Mine wasn't as like carbonated as yours. I just put it right up to the microphones.

Holy Ghost Beer and Brewing Challenges

00:01:54
Speaker
that sent It sounded fantastic. um Okay. So I am actually drinking my own officially... a Monkey piss.
00:02:04
Speaker
my My own official monkey piss this week. This is officially commercially brewed Holy Ghost.
00:02:19
Speaker
Here it is. It looks pretty nice and glass. Look at that, Justin. That's good Beautiful head. It's like, I mean, it's not super clear, but it's like, it's not it's not it's not a hazy IPA ah in in the traditional sense. It's not looking like dishwater.
00:02:36
Speaker
um But this is, yeah, looks really nice. Nice, like golden. a looks like a beer. It does, doesn't it? But ah it smells great, though.
00:02:48
Speaker
oh man. So much nice mango on the nose. Oh, it's it's ah really nice. And you get like just a little hint of the chili behind the mango. It's really nice.
00:02:59
Speaker
So I'm going to dive in. All right. Well, whilst you're diving in, i will tell everyone else what I'm drinking. im Believe it or not, I'm drinking a monkey brew.
00:03:11
Speaker
Nipah. Hmm. Yeah. There you Monkey Brew from Trondime. Yeah. Oh, this is perfect. This is so good. oh is It's got the heat right in the back.
00:03:24
Speaker
And it's just So you did the mixing right. Oh, perfect balance. It's got the heat there where you're like, oh, that's chilly, but you still want to drink it.
00:03:37
Speaker
You're not getting your mouth burned out. It's beautiful. Love it. Awesome. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some cans. When when can we actually get our hands on them? 2nd of July goes to Bustilling Zitvog. Oh, it's forever.
00:03:51
Speaker
I know. There are some some restaurants that have it available already. um and Anyone that you want to shout out? Shout out to Kometten in Drummond.
00:04:05
Speaker
They're a pizza restaurant see like kiss stage. Sēna, kanu seipenusk. Yeah. um The guy there is an avid supporter of Eucharist and buys every beer that I make, so that's fantastic.
00:04:22
Speaker
Arland, shout out to Arland. And Ypsilon, don't know if the actual Ypsilon bar will have it, but Arunternet, which is their other...
00:04:34
Speaker
um what you call it, like ah seop's little calllar like a like an event location. They will have it. um And then fact, there'll be I'll be there on Thursday talking to the people about my beer. Oh, that's fun.
00:04:51
Speaker
So I'm going to do like a little like introduction and tell people about the beer. And yeah, so beautiful. um I'm really happy with this beer.
00:05:02
Speaker
well It's got just the right just the right heat in it Perfect. Because we were we were all worried, weren't we? Like, we were worried about the brewing process like we discussed last week. And and then, like, i was worried that the mixing, like, was going to be not right. and I was worried too. it was a complete guessing game.
00:05:22
Speaker
But, yeah, man, it's got a good there.

Garage Projects and Content Creation

00:05:26
Speaker
got a good hit there like but it's not for my palate, and I'm not a chilly guy, to be honest. Like, ah it's going to be something that I think everyone will like.
00:05:37
Speaker
Yeah, it's not this like from, well, least from what I remember when you made it in your own brewery was it wasn't like hot. It was just like a light, and like like a really nice warm feeling in your throat as like the after finish. That's it. and Otherwise it tasted like quite um like fruity and paprika-y. Yeah, I think it's ah maybe my variation had a little bit more paprika-y.
00:06:06
Speaker
Chilly, but I can definitely, you can smell it on the back end of the beer. And then you can, like, there's just a little bit of taste, little slight hint of it in the actual beer itself. But I think, I think it's a perfect mix. I'm i'm pretty happy with the how this has turned out. So after all the headache that was,
00:06:26
Speaker
I'm happy with the result. Nice. so what The guys that have bought it, yeah you know the bro they've obviously obviously tasted it. Any good feedback, bad feedback? They haven't tasted it.
00:06:37
Speaker
They've just been fucking champions and decided to buy it without ever tasting it. so and But I imagine they have it in their hands soon, don't they?
00:06:48
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, i I delivered a sample to everyone that bought it. um So I think it's, a I'm assuming that they're going to drink it. If they haven't drunk it already, they're drinking it tonight.
00:07:01
Speaker
And I think yeah people will be happy. Awesome. And what's exciting about that is just, I think for me, it's one of your best beers you've made. Yeah, I think you it's like one of the most interesting beers I've made. Absolutely.
00:07:19
Speaker
Yeah. And I just think it's so good to get it out there. so congrats, Kieran. Thank you. Thank you. It works out on this one. I will talk briefly about this Monkey Brew Nipah.
00:07:30
Speaker
they Not a bad drop, realistically. I didn't really see it in the glass. I didn't put it in the glass. i didn't buy Straight out of the can like a savage.
00:07:41
Speaker
oh Well, to be honest, I was going to go inside and grab a glass, but then, don't know, I'm such a sucker for my dog. I'm like, oh, she'll see me and then she'll get all upset I'm leaving again. ah have such a such an idiot. i like I steer my life around my dog sometimes.
00:08:03
Speaker
It's weird. But nice... yeah nice nice Beer for a 4.7. Yeah? do Yeah. and I did also buy ah The Enemy here, Kieran.
00:08:14
Speaker
Yeah, Faith. But it's not cold, so I didn't decide to drink it. Well, you've already drunk that one on the podcast before, so be bit of repeat. Did I drink it on the podcast? Yeah, you did.
00:08:26
Speaker
Yeah. No, I don't think I drank it. I think I talked about it. I'm pretty sure you drank it. anyway. What's been happening, bro? ga Tell us what's been happening in your week. There's been a lot happening in the garage.
00:08:38
Speaker
Are you high? Yeah.
00:08:42
Speaker
When I got high, but it that yeah, I've been um getting high in my garage. o and I got the final parts from Thomas this week. Yeah. ah Shout out to Thomas. What an absolute ledge.
00:08:58
Speaker
Legend of the week. Legend. He's not my legend of the week, unfortunately. I've got someone that's even higher than that, which is amazing. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. um
00:09:10
Speaker
Finally got the parts, glued everything together. i was a little bit scared about the parts, especially some of the gluing areas.
00:09:22
Speaker
in the In the side and on on the rear, there's like a very small surface area of gluing and no dowels. Yeah, okay, well. and And so I'm like, what do I do here? Like, do i so just hope and pray that it's going to be okay or should I like reinforce it? So i'm like, I'll reinforce it. So I've been fiberglassing.
00:09:45
Speaker
e Now, I've never done this before. You've never fiberglassed before? Not properly, no. Oh, okay. I imagined you would have at least done it a couple times.
00:09:56
Speaker
No. No. So I learned a lot. I learned a lot. i I learned quite a bit about how much glue to put on.
00:10:07
Speaker
Yeah. Especially when you're laying the mat down first. So like I knew you had to put the glue or the epoxy or the the resin down before you lay the the fiberglass mat on, right?
00:10:21
Speaker
So it kind of soaks in underneath, make sure it gets good contact. And then on top, you pour the resin and you kind of work it into the mat until it's all sort of soaked up.
00:10:33
Speaker
Yeah, yeah. But I didn't realize how much you realistically should put underneath because the the if you don't put enough, what happens is it just weirdly just doesn't get enough grip onto the plastic. So then you can- Yeah, it starts to lift off, yeah? Yeah, or it doesn't lift off ah like without force. You have to force it.
00:10:57
Speaker
yeah But if you don't put enough, I see the spots. of like I see, that's not a very strong spot. Yeah, that's where the vibration of the the shell when you're driving just means the whole thing starts coming apart.
00:11:11
Speaker
I don't think so. Like, I don't think so. I think this thing's quite strong. Like, I've done one full slide and the bonnet, and I've got ah just a little bit of ah one one more layer to do on the right-hand side and the and the back and then I'm going to basically trim off all the fiberglass.
00:11:33
Speaker
But that's not another thing I didn't really realize is like fiberglass is really bad to get into corners. So you can't really do corners very well. So basically i learned very quickly that you've just got to kind of cut the oversized part and just cut just throw as much resin as you can on and just have it so the resin sort of is ah ah over the edge, kind of so where it joins the body and then the the the body kind of cuts away. I don't if you can i explain that.
00:12:11
Speaker
ah You know, it' the the fiberglass is hard and then you can come with a knife later and trim it off. ah But without

Fiberglassing Challenges and Personal Anecdotes

00:12:21
Speaker
doing that,
00:12:23
Speaker
It's just a nightmare. It doesn't go around corners. just i like There's some really complex curves, and I just had to accept that that I was going to have an air bubble full of resin underneath it.
00:12:39
Speaker
Yeah. Just how it is. But to be honest, it's only really there to support the joins. Yeah. So as long as the joints don't have air bubbles in them, then I'm pretty good.
00:12:51
Speaker
Yeah, cool. so So, yeah. been I mean, Kristen's been avoiding the carriage like the plague. She thinks it's crazy strong. That epoxy resin, whatever it is that you use, is pretty fucking toxic.
00:13:10
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, i'm I'm all gloved up and you know I've got my respirator on and everything, but even then, like you kind of feel it going into your eyeballs. so So it's kind of yeah it's kind of like that. and it's like to you it works faster if it's in a big tub, I guess, because the exothermic reaction causes to accelerate the hardener, right?
00:13:39
Speaker
Yeah. So it actually works slower if you spread it out quicker. Right. So I learned that the hard way, unfortunately. I wasted quite a lot of resin.
00:13:51
Speaker
All of a sudden, the thing's gone hard or going hard. I'm like, what the hell's going on here? don't understand. I was like, oh, you've got to work faster. And you've to just throw the resin onto the onto the piece and spread it out from there. And works a lot slower that way. So that was, it's been really interesting ah trying something new again. Yeah, cool. um What I have to do now is trim off all the parts when I finished fiberglassing. And then the crazy job will be this week is to set all four pieces together.
00:14:24
Speaker
properly and glue them and then fiberglass those joins inside. And so that's that's pretty much why I did everything in separate parts because I imagine if I had to fiberglass this thing whilst it was upside down or you know on its side, or it's just bit nightmare.
00:14:42
Speaker
Yeah. just wouldn't be fun at all. So, ah yeah, that's my big job for this week is to Finish fiberglassing and put together the four pieces and and make sure it's a solid body.
00:14:55
Speaker
Yeah, cool. So it's a bit scary too because like there's so many hours of work into this. Yeah, yeah. And you dropped the first part of this Video release this week, yeah? yeah, I nearly forgot.
00:15:12
Speaker
Yeah, I decided I was going to put it out. I said it was i said to Kristen, I'm like, I'm put it out on Saturday, I think, Saturday night. And then I got distracted and didn't put it out. So that was a bit funny.
00:15:26
Speaker
And then I there i was umming and ahhing. Should I put it out now or should put it next week or like what should I do? I'm like, no, screw it. Just put it out. Just get it over and done with. Get it out there.
00:15:40
Speaker
Yeah, look, I know it's not a probably a really strong video. It's not like the go-kart or the the
00:15:51
Speaker
Yeah, the motorbike video where it kind of is really kind of clicky. Yeah, it's not going to have the same appeal of like the, I just want to see this thing finished because obviously you don't finish it in the first video you do It's still being made.
00:16:07
Speaker
Yeah, spoiler alert. um Yeah, but I mean, I think, I mean, I watched the video obviously and and I think it's, I mean, I love watching you work.
00:16:21
Speaker
um I think it's it's a fantastic video. I just realized how creepy that sounded. Like, I love watching you work. and No, it's ah I think it's it's... I mean, I enjoy the way that you edit all together and the way the storyline pulls and the journey and the problem solving and all that kind of stuff.
00:16:45
Speaker
you know I think that's really interesting to watch still. I'm a... i'm not a super garage welder Avenger.
00:16:56
Speaker
yeah No, I i think it's that's what the garage Avenger's superpower should be, a welding arc. Come on.
00:17:07
Speaker
Garage Avenger had a freak garage accident with a welding arc and then became the garage Avenger. Well, that kind of did happen for real.
00:17:20
Speaker
what happens when i was like i don't know 16 or 17 no ah at school no in the garage when were you welding in the garage and remember when remember when i had uh we had borrowed the welder from richard the mom's ex-boyfriend right yeah a wilder i don can't remember this stuff It was a stick welder too. It wasn't like a... It was an arc welder.
00:17:50
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. And ah I was welding... i don't even remember what it was. But was I was trying to weld something up. And... I stupidly took my gloves off o and then i was holding the bench where the, like the, no, sorry, I was holding the earth in one hand, moving it.
00:18:13
Speaker
And then I was like, oh, I got to move the the the torch. so move i But I didn't grab the, I grabbed the handle, but then it slipped, my hand slipped up to the actual welding rod.
00:18:27
Speaker
I got electrocuted. I'm like, ah! i I'm surprised you don't remember that because you were the one looking out the window looking at me.
00:18:40
Speaker
don't remember this. I probably blocked it out of my memory. It was probably the trauma. yeah And this is how Justin became the garage avenger.
00:18:52
Speaker
Yep. um But, yeah, i to be honest, I haven't really been able to do that much work besides the fiberglass thing. I'd hoped to have been sanding the outside, and but that didn't really happen because we had a football cup this weekend as well. and Yeah. Yeah.

Content Creation and Audience Engagement

00:19:12
Speaker
And then I decided that when I picked up the last pieces from Thomas, yeah he was sort of complaining. Well, he wasn't complaining. He was just saying like, I'm just so tired. I've got so much stuff on and like all this stuff's happening. And I felt really grateful that he had done all this work for me, right?
00:19:34
Speaker
Yeah. and And managed to do this for me. and And he complained that he like he hadn't even got time to cut his own lawn. And and the the lawn was like proper high.
00:19:47
Speaker
Yeah. like Like halfway up to my knee high. Wow, okay. Yeah. Yeah. So what did I do on Sunday? went to his house and cut his lawn without him knowing. you cut another man's
00:20:04
Speaker
grass. still He hasn't said shit about it. I think he should i think he doesn't know who did it because I never told him. There you go. He locked up and just... pulled out the fucking lawnmower and got done. Well, he was away in Oslo. I knew he was away.
00:20:21
Speaker
I did it as a bit of a like surprise for him. Yeah, cool. He doesn't know. Maybe he's like, oh, that neighbor's always been sour at me, just cutting my lawn out of spite.
00:20:32
Speaker
Just tired of looking at my my long grass. Well, we're going to meet up because we're going to go see the Formula One movie. Oh, yeah. That premieres tomorrow.
00:20:44
Speaker
So we're we're going to go see the movies together. Let's see that movie together. So I'm going to ask him how his lawn is. I tried to drop it in a conversation with him yesterday. like i rang him and I, well, how's it going Oslo? Blah, blah, blah. run And then then I go, yeah, look, it's is's he asked me how it was going with the rally car. And I said, yeah, look, I've had this football cup. And, you know, I'd also help a friend out, you know, and and do a bit of gardening for him.
00:21:12
Speaker
like He didn't clue on it all. No, that's good fun. So let's hope he's not pissed at me for cutting his grass.
00:21:24
Speaker
a for those Norwegians out there that don't know, cutting another man's grass is do you want to explain that one, Justin? No. Well, it depends where you're from because ah cutting ah another man's grass is more like, ah in my books at least, is stealing his girl.
00:21:44
Speaker
Yeah, right? oh But you wouldn't do that to poor Thomas. No, no, no. He's too much of a legend for that.
00:21:55
Speaker
He is a ledge. Yeah. What a ledge. So that's pretty much it, dude. Like I've just been working on this car. You know, the the video is out yeah for the first bit.
00:22:08
Speaker
It's gone pretty average, which is okay. i have very low expectations of this video. Yeah. yeah um But that's okay. Like ah the thing is I'm learning every week, every time I put out a video.
00:22:23
Speaker
Like I am in no control of the algorithm and how people interact with my content. Like i cant I can't get upset if it does shit or if it does great or whatever it does, it's out of my control.
00:22:40
Speaker
And here's another truth. I watched this channel and they just build things and their videos are like, don't know, maybe on average, like 30 minutes to 40 minutes.
00:22:52
Speaker
Yeah. And to be honest, like I don't know why I watch them. They've got really bad video editing. Right? But they're still interesting to watch. So I'd watch them.
00:23:05
Speaker
Right? Yeah. And their channel is pretty big now. And I think like that says a lot about the algorithm and stuff. like It doesn't really care if you're doing the best you know jump cuts and you're making your edit perfect. like Once you get your audience...
00:23:23
Speaker
YouTube will just feed it to the right people. so Yeah, exactly right. That's kind of where I'm at the moment. I just haven't built a big enough or like subject audience or whatever they want to call it yeah for the algorithm to go, yeah, this is exactly the right of people that want to see this type of work. Yeah, cool. Yeah.
00:23:41
Speaker
So that hasn't happened yet, and

Brewing Projects and Marketing Strategies

00:23:43
Speaker
that's okay. But to be honest, I i don't mean haven't looked at the analytics at all, actually. But I saw this morning it was about 1,000 views or something like that, yeah which is not great for for one day out.
00:23:59
Speaker
But, yeah, now we're looking at, yeah, it's not great. It's 1,400 views. It's ranked four ten. ranked four of four four of ten So, you know, I knew it's not going to go great, to be honest.
00:24:16
Speaker
And that's the reason why that is is because it's just a bit too niche-y with regards to the type of car it and the 3D printing.
00:24:28
Speaker
Yeah. So, you know, well maybe the the other videos will hit ah hit a mark. I don't know. So we'll just see. But, I mean, I think it's great. Like, i just...
00:24:40
Speaker
Keep at it. Like, I think that's the thing. It's like, finish this project and see what doors open. think that's the most important thing. Yeah. And to be honest, it's also really working. i you know, I re-edited this video to...
00:24:54
Speaker
um to have a question in it, like I did it from the last video. yeah That did really well. And it and it seems to also have worked. People are writing back, you know, and saying things.
00:25:10
Speaker
but And, you know, people are also really stupid in writing things like... Rally cars have suspension, you idiot, and they're four-wheel drive, you twat.
00:25:21
Speaker
And I'm like, yeah you obviously don't get it, mate. I'm not going to spend time riding back to that. Yeah.
00:25:31
Speaker
I'm trying to convince you. no just relax. And I'm sorry, but if you actually follow Raleigh, you'll know that they're not all four-wheel drive. <unk> Sorry. You're the twat for saying that. like I mean, isn't the Yaris front-wheel drive?
00:25:48
Speaker
ah The GR Yaris? No, it's four-wheel drive. Okay. Yeah, so you if you buy this the road-going GR Yaris, it's four-wheel drive.
00:26:01
Speaker
Okay. go Yeah, you know that's how it is when you go put content out to the public, like what we've talked to about before. yeah You get a myriad of people that just feel like they need to tell you something.
00:26:15
Speaker
ah you know The question I had at the end of the video was, like I'm not an expert about these breaks. like What do you guys think? What would be the problem? And a lot of people came exactly with the things I was thinking already, but that's that's good, I guess, that they're willing to spend the time just to write something. And maybe I wasn't that far off with my thoughts.
00:26:36
Speaker
And then that also like helps with like, they're obviously invested enough that they want to write back to you. That's a, that's a significant viewer in that sense.
00:26:48
Speaker
Yeah, or they want to tell me all rally cars have suspension and a four-wheel drive. So, you know, they're that invested. They need to tell me these things.
00:26:59
Speaker
Yep. That's the way goes. Mr. Taz079. Taz079. well Why do people come up with these names on their YouTube channel? Mr. Taz0079.
00:27:15
Speaker
What? Oh, well. Yep. So that's the videos out there. What's the next
00:27:23
Speaker
ah Holiday, actually. That's another thing we we haven't really talked about. um I'm being forced to go on holiday. is that It sounds horrible. to your head It sounds like it's a horrible thing that I'm saying, but it's actually a really lovely thing.
00:27:42
Speaker
But to be honest, like i have I want to get this project finished and I would have loved to be able to finish it for Rally Finland. Yeah. And somehow somehow get it over there. but you know, the truth is I don't think it's going to happen.
00:27:56
Speaker
And well, it definitely is not going to happen because the thing's not even, you know, near ready to be assembled. So yeah, yeah there's, there's a lot of work to do this week.
00:28:09
Speaker
And then next week I go on holiday and, and with the wife and the kids and, ah We're taking a road trip. So... Tripping.
00:28:21
Speaker
Hopefully that's going to be good, but you never know. Like, could be crap. um Shout out to anyone ah who lives up north in Norway. ah Let me know. Send me a DM if you want to catch up or meet...
00:28:34
Speaker
ah We'll make try and make our way up. wherere We're seeing a guy, Martin Berg. He's a maker. if he's listening, we will see you in a week or so, or two weeks or so.
00:28:48
Speaker
um So... That's really cool to be able to connect with some of the viewers and some of the listeners of this podcast um on the way up yeah for a holiday. So, yeah, we're going to drive all the way up to Nordikop, which is the top part of Norway.
00:29:07
Speaker
Sweet. What is the I mean, is that Alta or is that where is the where's the top? It's at the top of Norway, dude. Yeah, but what's the closest town? Birda or whatever it's called. Birda? I don't know. Hold on, hold on, hold on. You've got to pull up a Google map.
00:29:36
Speaker
like um you could Clearly, you've been wrapped into this. You don't even know where you're going. Actually, that was i was going to bring that up. I have no planning stakes in this trip at all.
00:29:47
Speaker
I'm so focused on projects that all I know is we're going up to Nordic Cup and then we're going to drive. And you're sitting in the car and driving for 20 plus hours.
00:30:01
Speaker
ah but Longer than that, surely. and We're going to be driving all over the place. so So it's three weeks of driving. Oh, sounds like fun. Yeah. So it's a big trip.
00:30:13
Speaker
It'll be lovely to see that part of the country. Never seen it before. Yeah. um And hopefully I'll meet up with some makers that are around and hopefully ah have a beer or two with them.
00:30:25
Speaker
That'd be lovely. Maybe a Holy Ghost. so Oh, yeah. Actually, you can probably drop by and pick up some samples from me. Or misfills, I should say.
00:30:37
Speaker
ah That sounds like a plan. Yep. So there you go. Kieran, what's happening with you Well, as I have mentioned, Holy Ghost has been tapped and ready and tasting amazing.
00:30:53
Speaker
I'm really happy with this like warm glow going on right now. It's like it's going all the way down to my stomach right now. It's just like percolating there like a happy little ray of sunshine.
00:31:06
Speaker
um Yeah, it's ah it's really nice to get the beer finally done, so stoked about that. um And I've reworked Last week I talked about I'd decided on the name for the second beer that I was going to release with the anointing, and I had a second thought, mostly because the artwork was too hard to get the way I wanted it to in such a short amount of time. Yeah. So I took a, I just took an idea that I've been, that's been kicking around in the back of my head for a long time.
00:31:43
Speaker
And so it's going to be called Divine Vision, which is based from a vision that Ezekiel has in the book of Ezekiel of the heaven. It basically sounds like he took acid and then wrote down everything that he saw. Right. and that's It's some pretty freaky shit.
00:32:04
Speaker
And so he a vision this vision
00:32:11
Speaker
you don't even really know what it is per se, but it's described as a wheel up inside a wheel, inside a wheel full of eyes.
00:32:22
Speaker
It's a super creepy thing. Uh, it's called the orphan. I think it's how you pronounce it in the biblical text. And, uh, I just think it's just a super weird looking thing. And I think,
00:32:36
Speaker
the the artwork that I've developed for that will just look fucking sweet on the can. And it will go back to like this, the same style that I've done with Choir of Jesus and Holy Ghost.
00:32:48
Speaker
So I think people will will be able to kind of connect the two together and see, okay, oh yeah, that's a Eucharist beer. So that's really cool. Yeah, i like that. So, um and i did I did try and rework...
00:33:01
Speaker
ah something for the anointing, but i just i really haven't found anything I'm happy with yet. and So I think I'm going to stick with it. I've got i've got a supply like a PDF version of the label to the Wine Monopoly for their launch window. um And that cutoff is tomorrow at four o'clock.
00:33:21
Speaker
So I really don't have time to redesign a label by tomorrow at four o'clock. not So i'm just goingnna I'm just going to go with the label I have and hopefully that will work out fine.
00:33:33
Speaker
So, yeah. um So that's good. And so finalizing that recipe that's going to be and produced and getting my hands on some hops that I've never used before, actually, ah which is going to be interesting.
00:33:48
Speaker
ah Some Strata and some El Dorado. um and And Strata is a hop that I've heard a lot about, but I've never actually even tasted a beer that uses it.
00:34:00
Speaker
So I actually went to the Wyrm Monopoly today to find a beer that used it so I can taste it. So I got a single hop Strata beer. So it'll really hopefully illustrate what this beer is, what this hop is capable of.
00:34:14
Speaker
So um I did think about tasting that on this podcast, but I couldn't pass up. A fresh Holy Ghost. No, I don't blame you, Karen. You need do the fresh Holy Ghost. Yeah, anyway. So, yeah, other than that, I've been talking to some people about ah moving this wine, as I talked about last week.
00:34:34
Speaker
um I had a pretty brutal chat with, lovely chat, but a really brutal, honest one with Anders Amundsen, who's a guy I know who also works for a large wine importer.
00:34:49
Speaker
here in Norway. And he basically said, he's like, especially with the rosé that I've got, it's like I'll have the end of to the end of July.
00:35:01
Speaker
Whatever I don't move by the end of the July won't sell to next year. So the way that the monopoly goes and it's, so it's a put the pressure on a little bit and I felt a bit crap to, if I'm honest to about it.
00:35:18
Speaker
And, ah but I, you know, i think I had a moment of clarity and You know, I was just somehow, I don't exactly can't explain how, but my mindset shifted a little bit and I was and I was just like, okay, i'm just going to get this done. I'm going try whatever I can in the coming weeks to just see if I can move this product.
00:35:44
Speaker
So, I'm going to be focusing on Sedscaps Law Collar, like events locations and things like that, that, you know, have hosts wedding parties and all sorts of things like that. And they'll just, you know, like they have welcomes drinks, for example, and then just empty three cases of wine, you know, in one go. So they're, they're kind of good, big volume movers in that sense.
00:36:09
Speaker
yeah Um, so I'm going to be um focusing on some stuff there and following up with some leads I have. and things like that. But then, so today I went in to deliver ah this case of Holy Ghost to Ypsilon.
00:36:24
Speaker
And um I talked to them about the wine things and they were, you know, ah interested in some something in being some of the wine for the autumn ah period, which is at least a positive thing.
00:36:41
Speaker
And then ah I went next door to this little tapas restaurant that's there that I've had some contact with a guy there. And and he i said to he ah and he knows that I've got the wine and he said that he, you know, the dog that led at Ypsilon had said that she'd shared some of the wines I brought with and with them.
00:37:04
Speaker
And so I went in to just get some feedback and hear what it what he thought of the wine. And he said to me, i listen I wasn't here, so I didn't get to ch try the wine. But by the way, do you still have that beer? And I said, don't you mean like the Nordic triple?
00:37:19
Speaker
And he's yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like... I'll just take five cases. Okay, great. so And it was just like he said, I've been thinking about it for ages, but i keep forgetting to contact you.
00:37:31
Speaker
And and it's so it was nice that you popped in. I mean, like, that that's cool. that's ah That's how sales work, isn't it? It's all about being seen. 100%, dude. You've got to get out there.
00:37:44
Speaker
So there's that just a little bit of a reminder that things can change quickly. if you've got them money like a healthy mindset around some

Branding and Distribution Strategies

00:37:54
Speaker
things. And so that's been really good.
00:37:57
Speaker
um so there's some fun things going on in that respect. And, yeah, that's pretty much I've got. Oh, you and I, we tasted some of the beer from the garage the other day when you popped by. Yeah, I meant to talk about that. Mm-hmm.
00:38:13
Speaker
I think that's a winner. You think the so coconut one is a winner? Yeah, I think it is. It's really nice. Really like ah when you add that just that little bit of coconut flavor, it just changes It it really makes it so different from most other beers.
00:38:35
Speaker
Yeah, right. There are some hops that apparently claim they have coconut kind of in like hints of coconut to them. But I personally never smelt or experienced these hops that say they have that in that way.
00:38:52
Speaker
So it's kind of an interesting um
00:38:58
Speaker
and interesting observation with how much hype there is around hops these days. But i'm goingnna I'm going to test this ah coconut filter, which I talked about,
00:39:12
Speaker
And this week I'm going to tap off some some of the some of the beer without coconut first. and I'm going to see if I can do that tomorrow if I have a bit of time. and then ah And then I'm going to run it through some coconut and then tap that and then evaluate.
00:39:29
Speaker
And then it'll be a decision on how I'm going to handle that when actually ah produce it commercially. um Here's a question. Have you thought about going to some of these like brew pub type of places, you know, and, you know, coming with home brew sample, you know, and saying like, would you like, I got this great recipe. Would you like to produce this?
00:39:56
Speaker
You know, here's a sample. the I mean, the brew in what, I mean, obviously for them to sell in their own bar and make money off my beer. Yeah, of course. But ah okay these You still have your name on it.
00:40:11
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, they kind of have sole production and distribution of it. Yeah, I think the the unfortunate truth is is that people are, you know, when it's talking about other people's businesses, they want they want to keep their name on things.
00:40:32
Speaker
They're not really interested in sharing. yeah So unless there's some financial or... you know, marketing benefit for them to have your name attached to it.
00:40:43
Speaker
Let's say, ah you know, Eucharist Brewing blew up and people were like, oh, I've got to have everything that's Eucharist Brewing. um Then it might be beneficial for them to have my name attached to it.
00:40:56
Speaker
Yeah, which is what everyone on this podcast is, you know, saying when they go to, you know, Vin Monopolo or they go to the local... They're like, Eucharist, got to have everything Eucharist. That's what I imagine. makes me support people.
00:41:11
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. So, and yeah, I think there's there's obviously, I mean, that's yeahre more of a business development question down the path, I think.
00:41:25
Speaker
I mean, I have been, i have done some collabs with, like I did a collab with Crow last year where I did like a beer with them. And I think, and that was really positive and the beer turned out good.
00:41:38
Speaker
So I think, you know, there's always those good possibilities. And, um and I've, I ah want to do some more stuff like that at the brew pubs around, but it's ah now it's actually a strange time that it's the summertime in Norway.
00:41:56
Speaker
a lot of these brew pubs is their quiet time yeah because they're all designed to be like usable for the other nine months of the year with shitty weather.
00:42:08
Speaker
So ah that's the summertime is their downtime. So ah there's definitely a desire on my end to do more collabs in the future. It's just a matter of whether people want to do them or not.
00:42:23
Speaker
So it's mutually beneficial. What about these the selling of it How many kegs have you got of this Holy Ghost? I did a very limited run of kegs because as I've is expressed before, the the bar industry at the moment is like, it's pretty abysmal in terms of the desire to really pick volume up from small producers. um So most places will only produce a keg or take one keg of something and that's it and they'll never buy it again.
00:42:57
Speaker
yeah Even if they thought it was fantastic, you know, and it sold like hotcakes. But that's just the nature of the industry at the moment. So I decided I'm going to put majority of my product into cans.
00:43:11
Speaker
into the wine monopoly. I'm finally putting them at a price where it's, I'm earning a little bit of money from the sales of the wine monopoly. And if the volume goes like I hope it will, ah then that's, that's the model I'm going to go for in the future.
00:43:27
Speaker
Just max 10 kegs for every batch. And then just, so the few craft beer bars that really want it, we'll get it and take it off my hands quickly. And that's all the kegs gone.
00:43:40
Speaker
And then the wine monopoly takes the rest. And the one the one beautiful thing about the wine monopoly is I don't don't need to go out and sell it. It sells itself per se. So I just need to do my job and make sure that the product is great and looks great and people just naturally just want to buy it.
00:43:59
Speaker
Yeah, I think the new label you were discussing before, you know, fits into that. That branding ah with the... seemingly like white can with this the the small, you know, illustration on it, I think really works really well.
00:44:18
Speaker
and The thing is like, you know, you go, I i just went picked up this Nipah, right? Yeah. Like if you had three of your beers in a row, it would stand out like dog's balls because everyone else's can is so crazy complicated and busy.
00:44:37
Speaker
Or boring. Yeah, or that too, right? Yeah. So, like, i really think it's a volume game for you to get. So, like, if they got a point where you can have three or four products out at once, then, like, all of a sudden, you're taking up shelf space.
00:44:56
Speaker
And people are really taking notice because... Those cans really divide the noise yeah on the shelf. Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, even with the way like, I mean, when I did the labels for the Nordic triples,
00:45:13
Speaker
I evaluated like dark labels on the on the bottles. And I just realized sitting on a shelf, like it with all these other dark bottles and a dark label, it just disappears into the shelf.
00:45:27
Speaker
But anything that has a light colored label... stands out because of all the dark colors around it. So I've kind of taken the same approach with all these beers as well, that if you have this kind of clean white label amongst often a lot of intense color and often darker colors,
00:45:51
Speaker
um you well it tends to stand out because the label design's fairly clean, and easy to approach and see.
00:46:02
Speaker
So I think, you know, it's just a matter of time to see that, you know people will pick up the brand and and kind of get into it. So, yeah, we'll see.
00:46:14
Speaker
Let's just get production going, Kieran, and then just get more cans on the shelf. know I think the the fun thing now is switching some production over to They... they But I'll be able to release two products every bestilling zoo folk. How often is this bestilling zoo? Twice, so six times a year. So once every two months.
00:46:41
Speaker
Okay. So actually it's fairly, it's a fair big lot of time in between each one. So like, for example, you know, as you know, like IPAs don't last forever on the shelf, right?
00:46:58
Speaker
No, and thank but thankfully a lot of the proper beer-focused wine monopolies have fridges, and so they'll keep them in the fridge, which is nice. um

Weekly Reflections and Personal Insights

00:47:10
Speaker
But that being said, you know, like depending on how well things like I would love the fact that they sell so well that there's none of my beer available by the time the next bestilling Zoude Vogue swings around.
00:47:24
Speaker
You know, like as of now, Like there's just some random wine monopoly up towards Trondheim that has five cans of cryo-jesus. And that's it in the whole country.
00:47:38
Speaker
And like there's, I don't even know when they ordered them. i can't of remember that order going out, but it's just, yeah, it's really fascinating that, so you know, the things just get around and people start seeing them. So I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. So we'll see.
00:47:55
Speaker
We'll see. ah Enough of my stuff, Justin. You're going to tell me about what's giving you the shits this week. I'll tell you what's giving me the shits this week. Not having any shits to give.
00:48:09
Speaker
Hit the button. Oh, yeah, sorry.
00:48:15
Speaker
Who does number two work for? Not giving any shits, Justin. Yeah, it shits me that I have nothing to complain about.
00:48:26
Speaker
Yeah.
00:48:29
Speaker
That's an oxymoron, isn't it? Yeah. e So nothing to complain about.
00:48:37
Speaker
However, Justin, I will make up for your lack. Please do, Karen. And I will tell you what's giving me the shits this week. Let it rip is flower sperm.
00:48:51
Speaker
does number but do otherwise known as pollen for the normal individual, as I have dubbed flower sperm, gets all fucked up in my nostrils and my eyes and my fuck back of my throat.
00:49:08
Speaker
hey fever I didn't have hay fear and ha fever in Australia. Never had hay fever. But here in the summertime, because all the plants are just going bonkers trying to recreate like right reproduce winter comes,
00:49:20
Speaker
for like before the winter comes Like the pollen is out of control and it's, it fucks me up. I'm like, it's only because it's raining that I can even smell anything at the moment.
00:49:33
Speaker
Cause there's a pollen count has dropped right down. and I'm like, I had to air out the house and clean and dust everything. I'm just like far out, man. was fucking me up for days. And like no antihistamines that I shelf antihistamines work.
00:49:50
Speaker
I've got to go to like get the proper medicated shit from the doctor. I'm just like, ugh. But it never was like this in Australia. Never had hay fever. I was like always the guy that was like, you suckers with hay fever.
00:50:05
Speaker
And now here's me just going, oh, oh, oh, oh. Because I just, everything's just full. Like my nose is full of mucus.
00:50:16
Speaker
but I'm rubbing my eyes. I've got a scratchy throat. I just feel like I'm being like on a massive bender over the weekend. Just feeling like heavy and just groggy and shit just because I had to, because I got hay fever.
00:50:29
Speaker
I'm like, give me the fucking shit, stupid phallus burn. Getting all up in my grill.
00:50:39
Speaker
Are you done? Yeah, I think done. All right.
00:50:45
Speaker
Is there anything blowing your mind this week? um It's a bit of a sentimental one this week. Blowing my mind. and you know what's blowing my mind, Justin?
00:50:57
Speaker
Lovely moments with the kids. Okay.
00:51:04
Speaker
Mind blown. Actually, I just wanted to cut that out. I think I should cut that out. I should have gone like a big like group crowd like,
00:51:16
Speaker
No, I mean, not to be like too sentimental, but like this so weekend Lynn had to work and so I was alone with the kids And I took them out just ah around the neighborhood on the bikes and, you know, get them out of the house.
00:51:34
Speaker
And ah we found all these wild strawberries growing up and down places through along the street. And we just, I just pointed it out to the kids and then they started like looking at them and picking them and then but We just went on this massive journey up and down the street, finding all these and new patches of wild strawberries and picking little ones well wild strawberries. And Liam, who was like really skeptical to them in the beginning, was just like eating them by the fist load in the end, just like gorging himself on on wild strawberries.
00:52:12
Speaker
And I was like, It's just so wonderful. It was just a nice little experience with the kids. and until they realize Until you realize that all those wild strawberries are covered in dog piss.
00:52:24
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, possibly, but, you know, hope thankfully most of them were off yeah off far off the beaten track that they're probably not covered in dog piss. At least I hope. But i did ah we did to take all these strawberries home.
00:52:40
Speaker
Now, like I might add, like for those who don't know, much about wild strawberries. they're like They're really small. So they're about, I don't know, an eighth the size of a normal strawberry.
00:52:51
Speaker
and ah But the flavor intensity is quite profound, actually. And so I took them home and decided that Mackenzie and I were going to make jam.
00:53:03
Speaker
from them, so we made to we made some jam and had that on some toast and it was just really lovely. So that's my sentimental mind blown this week.
00:53:16
Speaker
Justin, what's blowing your mind? AI videos, man. this They're starting to get really good and like there is, right now you can still sometimes like see that it's fake, but it's it's going to be like a matter of months, man, until we can't tell.
00:53:38
Speaker
It's going to be fucked. And like, I'm not really worried about our generation younger. I think they'll clue on, like, oh, this is fucking bullshit. Yeah, yeah. The older generation, they're going to be fucked.
00:53:51
Speaker
They're going to go around thinking World War III is happening because they saw a video that looked like World War III was happening. Yeah, yeah, yeah, right. right you know And that no one's talking about it in the news because you know it's all hush-hush or something.
00:54:05
Speaker
It's very serious. Get your tinfoil hat out. Oh, I think well, I mean, it does make me wonder like how long until people just really do just check out Like realize like this online stuff, it it's all bullshit. So we got to get back to basics and go back to reality.
00:54:28
Speaker
Get off these devices. I think we're, I mean, I think we're already on the way there because, you know, I mean, this is the, hence the reason why we're doing ah podcast for an hour and a half of unedited us, right?
00:54:41
Speaker
It's like, that's what people like, that's us. It's real. Unlike all this doctored, edited stuff like you do on YouTube.
00:54:53
Speaker
um ah And ah no, but admit I mean, I mean, it's still you, so it's it's good. But like this' there's definitely a brand of stuff that's so polished that we just, yeah we're not even,
00:55:11
Speaker
you know, we're not even checking the inbox anymore. Yeah, like we're just so gone. the I mean, what's interesting too now is I've seen that Instagram seems to be going back to its old algorithm.
00:55:28
Speaker
It's now serving you up things that you might like and that you follow.

AI Technology and Authentic Connections

00:55:34
Speaker
Right, interesting. Because before it was like,
00:55:39
Speaker
It just gives you all the popular shit yeah on your feed. right ah Now it's like, hey, you like him, so maybe you like this guy. which you They actually are connected and they actually do similar work.
00:55:53
Speaker
right so Their algorithm has gotten a little bit smarter in that regard. Like, hey, i actually do like these guys. That's interesting work. Yeah, yeah. ah But I think everyone's going to check out soon with their regards to everything they see on there. just You can't believe anything. So they're just going to go, why am I even on this if I can't believe anything I see on this?
00:56:15
Speaker
No, exactly. And that's what we're I think we're on the cusp of probably something quite profound um where we're going to come back to a desire for authentic connection with things.
00:56:30
Speaker
I think ah for all the challenges that like bars and restaurants are having right now, I think those those establishments in the coming years will have a massive increase of patronage. Like people are going to be less home and more with actual people, you know, and I'm all for that. I think we all need better human connection with each other.
00:56:57
Speaker
So think and maybe you can drink some beer while straight at know It kind of needs to be said. like that you know There's like a and are the thing at work that says, we'll be down at the bar tonight.
00:57:10
Speaker
bar on Tuesday at you know seven o'clock. Yeah. And everyone knows that so that they just go there at seven o'clock and they know that it's a social gathering instead of like having to do check a Facebook group post or some shit. Like i don't like this stuff. It really drives me bananas.
00:57:29
Speaker
Yeah, exactly right. It's just too much. It's like you can't be everywhere and do everything at once. And then you can't believe anything you see and it's getting worse and worse.
00:57:41
Speaker
like i had a I had a conversation with ah one of my customers about you know why, for example, Oslo bars at the moment are not really buying much.
00:57:54
Speaker
And he was talking about the fact that they're all doing these tap takeovers from other guest breweries coming in and doing tap takeovers and they've got to get rid of that stock. And I thought, I can't keep up with what everyone's doing because I'm like, there's not enough hours in the day to keep tabs on everyone and what they're actually doing. Like, yeah, you put a Facebook group or event out, but like and there's no not enough time in the day to check all that stuff.
00:58:23
Speaker
So, you know, it's like, I think we're on the cusp of something here. You know, it'll be really interesting to see where it goes. and Kieran, we talked about Legends last week. Yeah. So, your new you segment. I didn't record any intro. Oh, I sent you links and everything, Justin.
00:58:45
Speaker
I couldn't take that one. That was it was a pretty good pretty good YouTube
00:58:55
Speaker
Who's your ledge? My legend of the week um is Per Ivin from Guloting in Drummond.
00:59:09
Speaker
He's a ledge. He's absolute ledge. Not only does he buy my beer, which is legendary enough, but it's actually a he's actually a fucking ledge. Like, the guy is super positive.
00:59:22
Speaker
Like, despite the fact that, like, his shop like goes up and down in sales all time and, and you know, but he's just super lovely. He's always positive.
00:59:35
Speaker
He's always a joy to talk to. He's always interested. and you know, he's keeping craft beer for shop strength stuff alive. Cause without people like him, we'd only have whatever's at many or like,
00:59:52
Speaker
Kiwi or whatever, the supermarkets. And I'm just, what a ledge. Just fucking keeping it real, doing it. Doing it because he loves doing it. And he's and he's fucking good at it too.
01:00:05
Speaker
So that's my ledge of the week. pa What a ledge. What a thing in Drummond. Legends. Legends. Do yourself favor. If you live in the Drummond area,
01:00:18
Speaker
ah Or even if you don't, take a drive and just buy some beer and support a local business supporting craft beer. So that would be awesome.

I have to say my legend of the week is, it's going to sound shitty because it's a patron, but he's actually an old school friend of ours.
01:00:42
Speaker
Yeah. ah John Robertson. John Robertson. John Oh. He signed Class from the past. He signed up to Patreon.
01:00:53
Speaker
Yeah. At the top tier sidekick. Really? Yeah, just. Straight up. so Straight up. Balls deep. No. What an absolute legend. What a ledge.
01:01:06
Speaker
and know. It just feels like. Yeah, I mean, I think he just saw what I'm he's obviously been watching what I've been doing over the last couple years, you know, and then, you know, and I posted something about um like everyone upping their their contributions in like in my Patreon.
01:01:28
Speaker
and Does he listen you want he maybe listens to the podcast? I don't know, but maybe he does. Give us a shout out, John, if you do. What a ledge. What a ledge.
01:01:41
Speaker
So, yeah, I'm super stoked to have him on board. and You know, he signed up to be a sidekick, so he gets his own custom stuff.

hoodie and t-shirt and stuff and his name on it and everything. So, um yeah, I'm going to make that up for him in the next month or so and he send that off to him. And, ah yeah, but what an absolute legend.
01:02:04
Speaker
What a ledge. And then I guess once we're here, we should also just shout out my other patrons. All of you guys are amazing. But to the the heroes, ah Thomas Buck and Mark Foster, Janis Kelms, Thomas Angel,
01:02:23
Speaker
ah thomas anger Arthur Midgard, Kieran White. What a ledge that guy is.
01:02:33
Speaker
That's Swedish my maker. ah He's definitely not a ledge. No, I've decided he's not. ah Really? Yeah, I've decided because he like he he said that he was going to call me and then it's been like four weeks.
01:02:49
Speaker
Whoa. I've decided he's not a ledge. He's not a ledge anymore. He's been degraded from ledge status. Like, I don't want to hear the excuses like he's busy and he's got a YouTube channel and he's got family. I don't want to hear that. don't want to that. don't want to hear that. I don't want hear don't hear don't hear that. want to hear I to don't want hear that. don't want that. don't want don't that. don't hear don't to hear that. don't want to that. want hear that. don't to that. hear don't want to hear that.
01:03:15
Speaker
want hear I don't want hear that. don't want to hear that. He's like, look, getting sponsored Bamboo Labs and some other crazy. I'm not at jealous. I'm at all jealous. And he is actually but is actually legend, but he should call me. Because he should me. Because he's legend. He doesn't have to call me. don't care what shit. But he did say he was going to do it and hasn't. So anyway, continuing.
01:03:33
Speaker
Sorry, people. um ah Andrews Abrahamson and Stian Seuss. And then, of course, to my sidekicks, Sylvester, Arna, Thomas, and now John.
01:03:49
Speaker
Legends. Absolute legends. Yeah, I like it. um Recommendations, Kieran? Recommendations for this week.
01:04:02
Speaker
um After my legend... a YouTube searching, ah I would like to recommend a series called Fresh Meat. It's a bit of an oldie.
01:04:15
Speaker
Now it's like the original, probably the one of the first television appearances for Jack Whitehall. i yeah and ah and it's a fantastic comedy ah if you can find it streaming somewhere used to be on Netflix I don't think it's any there anywhere now but um yeah I think they might even have some free episodes on YouTube actually so check it out Fresh Meat it's a good classic British style comedy I enjoyed it immensely
01:04:53
Speaker
Yeah. Um, well, I'm going to recommend a another YouTube channel. Yeah. Uh, called bum.
01:05:04
Speaker
B-U-M. Yeah. B-U-M. Okay. um it stands for, I can't remember what it stands for. Crap. Uh, it's basically janky vehicles.
01:05:18
Speaker
They make janky vehicles. Um, They really are, to be honest, doing really well. They've put put out a video every week for a year.
01:05:30
Speaker
That's pretty good. it's It's really impressive. And they're building things, right? They're building... go-karts, they're building bikes, they're building all sorts of stuff. Yeah.
01:05:43
Speaker
And a lot of stuff they're building is like really accessible yeah to most people, which is, you know, pretty cool. So at the moment they're building this, like, they're turning like this Corvette bed. Okay. It was a kid's bed. Yeah.
01:06:00
Speaker
Into an actual like mini Corvette. Yeah.
01:06:05
Speaker
And it's and really cool. And they've also got this so ah like six wheel Jeep thing going on as well. And like, they're, they're making everything from scratch. Well, you know, they're getting donor vehicles and then modifying them heavily to try and try and make it do what they want them to do. So yeah some of their vehicles absolutely suck.
01:06:25
Speaker
Like you see, in like this is horrible, guys. But to be honest, i I sat and watched their latest video and, you know, It's not the best editing in the world. it's not the But they're two genuine people just building something crazy in their garage. And I think if you kind of like what I do, then go check out BUM.
01:06:48
Speaker
B-U-M. Cool. Yeah. I like it. Anything else we need to talk about before we wrap this thing up, Kieran? ah There's always something we should talk about. have But have you got anything on mine on your mind? Yeah.
01:07:04
Speaker
uh not really no i've just got i've got to get back to work this week and get finishing this damn rally car he that's all i got that's my main agenda but i am working my day job as well so has to fit in between everything so i would like to drive this rally car by the way just want to formally put my request in when it when it's the body on or you want to drive it now I mean, I'd have you to drive it now. It looks fun to drive as it is now.
01:07:33
Speaker
It's scary as fuck, dude. I mean, i I'd want to take it to a proper track or so a farm or somewhere I could actually let it rip. No, I tell you don't want to let it rip. Come back with brown pants, dude.
01:07:49
Speaker
It does look fun, though. It does look fun. Yeah, it's ah i I think it's going to be great. And I think um hopefully when we get this thing up and running, and and I'll be able to take it to a proper rallycross track. We'll take it out there and give it a spin.
01:08:07
Speaker
Yeah, awesome. you know But it's still a lot of work ahead of me, and I really hope that I don't break something. major if I like drive it out on our track somewhere. Yeah.
01:08:19
Speaker
Yeah. Cause you know, if a pretty printed pot like cracks and buckles and you know, it's kind of shit. So we'll just, uh, we'll just hopefully, you know, keep our fingers crossed, I guess. Yeah.
01:08:31
Speaker
That's good. Nice. Yeah. Um, no, that's it. I think we'll just leave it there guys. Thank you so much all for listening. You guys are absolute legends for listening anyway.
01:08:44
Speaker
um Go check out this summer ah Holy Ghost by Kieran by Eucharist Brewing. ah find it in your local Vina Monopola.
01:08:55
Speaker
It is not spicy. So if you're like a big wuss bag with heat, like most Norwegians, cry me around. I really enjoyed polishing off this glass. I just have to say, i've really enjoyed this.
01:09:07
Speaker
Yeah, so just don't be scared of it. go Go grab yourself a can. wife and like it. On the back of the can, you can see here, I don't know if you can see this, Justin, but I did give it like a chili rating.
01:09:21
Speaker
On the back here. But it's obviously a Norwegian chili rating because if that was a normal chili rating for any other country. It'd be one chili if it was like a Norwegian, if it was a normal country but or maybe even a half a one chili. Yeah, exactly. But if for this for the purposes of this illustration to the Norwegian market, it's a two out of five chilies.
01:09:45
Speaker
That's what it is. But I think ah that's probably a good, I think it's a good place. So if you're like, oh, I like, I kind of like chili, kind of like spicy food, ah but i'm not I'm not a big fan of just the agony, this is the beer for you. one hundred percent 100%. And I think if you just want to try something fun and interesting this summer with a barbecue,
01:10:08
Speaker
that's a good entry. Yeah, you got give your kids a taste of that one. Get your kids on Holy Ghost.
01:10:21
Speaker
Thank you, everybody. We'll see you hopefully next week, but I don't know. We'll see. We'll see how the week turns out. Cheers, everyone. Bye. Later.
01:10:33
