Welcome and Introductions

00:00:02
Speaker
the Global Sports Podcast Network. Hello and welcome everyone to the GSPN Daily West Ham broadcast. Bit different for me today as I'm joined by two

Pre-Match Nerves and Expectations

00:00:11
Speaker
of our guests Keelan and Jack from Man City. How are you guys doing today? um's Fantastic. Hello mate, good to be here.
00:00:17
Speaker
Brilliant. It's a bit of a nervy one for me, obviously. I think most fans normally are

Man City's Season Insights

00:00:21
Speaker
a bit afraid when it gets down to the weekend because they see their cities coming up against them. It gives a bit of a shiver. But I'm always the optimistic one in our group. So for me today, it's going to be a bit interesting. But I mean, how are you guys feeling? Obviously, I've got Harlan in my fantasy, so I'm over the moon with how you guys have been doing. But yeah, just as a bit of an insight for our guys, how you've been leading up to this match.
00:00:43
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, to be honest, I don't know about you, Keelan, but it's been a better start to the season than I thought it would be. I think, you know, our start of the season podcast, week we were kind of talking about how we kind of expected a slow start. I think every City fan goes into a season expecting a slow start from us because that's the type of team we are. We warm up and, but you know, it gets to about Christmas time and everyone thinks, oh, it's City to lose here. You know, they could get, yeah we could overtake him. You know, Arsenal fans start to get a bit confident. Liverpool,
00:01:11
Speaker
And then come January time, you hear the old, or how can anyone compete with them? That type of jibber jabber. But it's just how we approach the season. We always start slow, warm into it. But I have been really impressed with our stats this season because we've played pretty well right off the bat, considering we've got players still kind of coming back just from the summer, the Euros and stuff like that. Rodry is just back in training this week, probably won't feature this weekend, but we've done really well with kind of bit part players and players that know always usually play. and So I think ah particularly that Chelsea game, I know Keelan you'll talk about it as well, that was a really good start, really impressive for me.
00:01:48
Speaker
Yeah, um I have to agree with what Jack said. you know i thought we would I think the away game against Chelsea was a big concern you know with Rodri not being there. Obviously, we kind of thought that if the worst was ever going to happen, that's where it was going to be. But overall, very happy with the start of the season. I mean i am a very firm member of the Rico Lewis Fan Club. you know I've been singing that boy's

West Ham's Form and Challenges

00:02:10
Speaker
praises from the rooftops.
00:02:11
Speaker
And yeah, overall just really happy, you know, I will say, although it is just the start of the season, we had a bit of a rude awakening against Ipswich when Sami Smorak's run through on goal and managed to put it under Edison. But then you see the response to that, you know, three goals in three and a half minutes and that's what City are capable of doing. So really very hard to complain, very happy with the start of the season. And like Jack said, I thought it would have been a lot worse. So really nothing bad to say.
00:02:40
Speaker
Yeah, this is, I was a bit nervous, I won't lie when I, I dribbled Captain Harlan this week. I was one of those many people that thought to go, go, go, go. It had had to be done. And ultimately I was, yeah, three minutes in, I was even more worried. I couldn't believe what had happened. But ah as, yeah, I think if there's any team that goes down fairly early, you're more than confident in you guys and wants to pick it up. We've had a similar start, obviously with Villa at the start of the season where it wasn't what we expected. I think, I think most of us are a bit concerned, obviously trying to get the system to get settled and get every player used to how we're expected to play following you know for the rest of the season. But obviously Crystal Palace for us was the the big turnaround. And I

Football Rules and Format Frustrations

00:03:16
Speaker
think we've we've been saying anyway, that every since yeah everyone's been coming in, we've had almost like a career mode ah transfer window really for us. but um But yeah, it's been that kind of getting everyone up to speed, and we've just been evolving since that pre-season. So it's been an interesting one for my end, because obviously, too little against Palace for us. And if we're playing who I think we'll play in our lineup, I'm rather confident.
00:03:37
Speaker
but We had Bournemouth this week. I'm not particularly happy we've had two Premier League draws for the Carabao Cup. I can't be more annoyed with all the new rules. It's really, really known me, really, to be honest. Yeah. I mean, have you seen the Champions League format that's been released today? I was looking at it for about 10 minutes and I still don't understand. No, I don't get it. It seems like everything has just been more overcomplicated and complicated in football at the moment. So, yeah, it's mental.
00:04:03
Speaker
Yeah, it's one of those ones I woke up this morning and saw we've got, once I really got Liverpool and just can't face for the Carabao Cup, we're gone now. It's just, if we get another hard team, I'm going to be so livid because we've not got anything else apart from the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup to worry about because this is the first time in a couple of seasons now. It's nice to be able to say that we've had a few European tournaments, but yeah, it's a bit weird for us now being able to sort of sit there and go, right, we've got to focus on some more domestic cups, but Liverpool next in that one, so.
00:04:29
Speaker
I mean, they can to be beaten, they can be beaten, they're there to be beaten, you know, and and a lot of times you look at Klopp's recent tenure, he didn't really prioritise the cups that much. It's yet to be seen whether Ani Slott will do the same, but either way, it's new manager versus this new manager. No one's guaranteed.
00:04:46
Speaker
Anything, is it unfilled,

Man City's Transfer Strategy

00:04:48
Speaker
your draw? um I feel it is, because I would have been even more annoyed this morning, but I didn't check which way round it was. but I feel it was like... You're not into climbing it. It always is. We've had a couple of good games against them. I've looked at our obviously our previous records head-to-head. It doesn't look great on us, but ah a lot of draws, which I'm hoping i I'll be happy with that, to be honest, but I'd always take the win if it's there. But um but yeah, i mean just just from a transfer window perspective, how have you guys been active? you know I've seen a few things and I see different players starting, but I always tend to only just see you guys, just players just appear. I never see anything big big and formally announced. Yeah, well, um to be honest, our transfer window has been more defined by who's gone out than who's kept it come in. Obviously, Julian Alvarez, he could go up to £82 million, pounds go into Latica Madrid. but We've talked about that a lot on our side of the water. um
00:05:41
Speaker
very good deal for city i think and then you know i think what's really to find our windows probably ok i got the one coming back and you know i met i said this already i never wanted him to leave so i'm thrilled that he's back he gives us a lot more versatility cuz he can play anywhere midfield he can play as a ten to six or an eight really if you need So our windows been very very good it's been quiet but city operate quietly we never really we never really do it Chelsea we don't really do a United where we go out we try and get big names we kinda just go about our business and take over and out where we need to so I've been very happy and and of course Savino has been very good for us he's been very bright
00:06:23
Speaker
In his first game against Chelsea, he cooked Marc Cougarier. And the Ipswich game, he won us the penalty that got us back into the game. So he looks like he could be a real star for the future. Yeah, it's weird. I've been looking at the lineup. and I literally had no clue, are we honest, whove who Savino was when ah when I'd seen him.
00:06:42
Speaker
and But yeah, i've um I mean, the one thing I always see is obviously the stuff with Harland and Cougarier

00:06:48
Speaker
through the summer, which I actually love seeing all that kind of stuff. It's a proper proper bit of banter between the two of them. but um But yeah, I mean, I want to talk to you guys more about the lineup, obviously the match ahead. But before we do that, I think it's a brief time ah for last one of our sponsors. Do you have a story to tell that the world needs to hear? Have you struggled reaching new audiences who already engage with your story? It might be time for you to start a podcast.

Speaker
Now before we go into the

West Ham's Transfer Window Dynamics

00:07:40
Speaker
lineups I've predicted and and score lines for the match ahead, just thought I'd i'd speak together. Obviously we are in the final couple of hours. We have obviously a couple of days left to the window. Are you guys expected to do any more business? I know i so we're we're looking at a few late-minute signings, but what have you guys got? Anything forecasted at all?
00:07:56
Speaker
um To be honest with you, it was talked about that we were going to sign a direct striker replacement for Julian Alvarez, but it seems as though in recent days that Pep and Tiki have talked to each other and they're pretty happy with the current squad. you know A key theme over the last few seasons for us with

Guardiola's Squad Strategy and Player Roles

00:08:13
Speaker
City is that Pep really, really likes the small, intimate squad of players that he knows inside out, he knows what each of them can do.
00:08:21
Speaker
he knows what they're all capable of. You look at Chelsea actually and that's what Enzo Mareska is kind of starting to do almost quite brutally now is he's isolated 10-15 players who are training with the under-23s and he's just basically essentially told them you're not going to be getting game time. If you want to get game time go and do that at another club and that's because Peppers had so much success with having a small group of players who he trusts, knows inside out and and the reason I think that we're not going in for you know, a direct striker replacement. Pep's come out and talked to us that, you know, when Oscar Bob comes back from this pretty horrific injury that he's had, he, you know, he knows that he can play that false nine role. He knows that we've got substitute substitute players that can kind of come in for Harlem and doing adequate. We play with a false nine for two seasons. We're very much capable of, you know, playing without him. And I think he just prefers to not go in and buy another strange face who will be have to be happy to sit on the bench.
00:09:18
Speaker
Yeah, basically what Jack said there, and the biggest rumours were linking us to Kyogu Furahashi from Celtic. um And I can tell you as someone who is also a Celtic fan, Kyogu's a brilliant player, but he's more a runner and he's more someone who's going to run after the ball. He's not really I don't consider him a number nine. I consider him more like a number 11 on the wing. And we don't really need more wingers. We need someone who's going to be competition for the number nine spot. But I think Jack summed it up perfectly there. You know, Pep's made it clear that he's happy with what he has. And like Jack also said very well, you know, when when Oscar Bob comes back, we know he can play in the right. He can play in the middle as a false nine. He can fill those voids.
00:10:02
Speaker
And now with Savini, oh, he can play anywhere across the front line as well. So there are there are still options there. Maybe not the ones that would be first choice, but there are still options. And then you have Kevin De Bruyne, who's played as a false line before, Ilk High Gun, the one who's played as a false line before. So i to answer your question, i don't I think that's our business done for the window. But what if West Ham got cooking? I'm very intrigued to hear this. but It's a bit of an interesting one, isn't it? Really? I mean, we're still looking, which I'm still baffled. We still got money in the pot, to be honest. I keep trying to work out the maths and can't quite work. I get lost halfway through it. I just think there's a a pot of money somewhere. But ah I guess big news is potentially Tammy Abraham coming back to the Premier League, which for us would be brilliant. i We have the biggest striker curse I feel like going out of every club.
00:10:52
Speaker
You know, you you think of who we've had at the top and it it just hurts every time. But um but but yeah, obviously that's the biggest news. I've got remaining in the window. But I think so many of our signings now are finally getting settled. I think the biggest shock is Juan Bassaca. For me anyway, I think an absolute steal in terms of price for us and played against Bournemouth last night and also had was half an hour, I think, of it was for the Palace game.
00:11:15
Speaker
Yeah, when he turned into prime-cafu. I know. He's fantastic. I just wasn't expecting it. I know everyone everyone has the big stigma. even Even I think some of us had it with, the you can't go forward at all. He's only good backwards. And and realistically, within 20 seconds of being subbed on, shows an absolute effort, obviously linking up with Bowen down the right and gets a lovely goal against Palace. So, could not be happier in that sense. But I think my surprise so far has been Kilman. I think we've been out we've been talking about it this week amongst us, lads where He's really just been going under the radar with all the work he's been doing already. I know he's a player that Lopategi trusts, obviously, from his time at walls. So that's the, obviously, there's usually that you can put but two and two together while he's done it. And realistically, i i so I'm more a hero for it. Him and Mavropanos have been quite a nice old link up at the back. I know.
00:12:00
Speaker
Mavropanas is probably getting more settled now. He's getting more minutes. So he's trying to just get that constant,

West Ham's New Signings and Performances

00:12:04
Speaker
constant understanding of the game and it getting actually being able to play, which is probably a bit of a nice surprise for him. But yeah, it's good for us to kind of see everything's all kind of settled now leading into the, uh, leading into the end of the window. I think um one more signing up top, but equally we're scared that if one's coming in, a a couple are going to have to go and especially up strike. And now we've got Ings Antonio. I mean, you guys have just had obviously Mubama off of us. So that's ah a lovely, a little bit of business. I mean, I was shocked to see that one happen. It wasn't on my bingo card for the year. But one of us saw it coming either. It just kind of happened one day. We saw it was, you know, David Mavamba was, you know, a city player. And I'm excited the prospect. I wonder what we're going to do with him to be honest with you. But in terms of West Ham's transfer window, I know we're sitting a lot. We're talking about it in extensive details. We're really impressed with it. But Max Kilman, you mentioned there was a name that I feel like
00:12:51
Speaker
we were kind of okay with it but a lot in the Premier League looked at that, looked at the big transfer fee and thought, God, Max Kilman, is he worth that much considering the other signings that you made which looked like steals? Max Kilman has impressed everyone in the Premier League. that That game against Crystal Palace, he was absolutely fantastic and he he's almost kind of looking like deserving of that kind of 40 million transfer fee but Listen, me and Keeling could talk till the sun comes up about West Ham's transfer window. It's like one of our favorite things to talk about. and I'll let Keeling touch upon briefly because, I mean,
00:13:25
Speaker
Christ Senseo Somerville. Keelan, what do you think of it? Oh my god, I love Somerville. I absolutely love Christ Senseo Somerville. And I actually said this in our podcast, because as Jack said, we were breaking down West Ham's transfers and how good they've been. I am shocked a top 14 didn't pick up Christ Senseo Somerville, because when he was in the pram with Leeds, he was absolutely brilliant. You know, he cooked Liverpool at Anfield, I remember that. He cooked most of the mid table

Transfer Window Concerns and Star Players

00:13:53
Speaker
teams as well. So He did look Liverpool bound at one point didn't he? He did yeah those were the reports that I saw and yet for some reason that never really came to be but I think if he's played right and he gets the opportunities I think Somerville could be a real dangerous threat for West Ham especially if you do end up getting another number nine you'll have Somerville and Bowen who can play off a number nine really well and if you can do that then I think you've got a very good front three there
00:14:21
Speaker
Yeah, it's it's tricky. it's It's given us a lot of headaches, because equally, if we do have Somerville and Bowen play, i'm I'm all for him and low into bits, and I'm so glad he got loads of time last night. But ah he hasn't ever had had much of a chance so far for the first couple of games. But if we have both of those, we've still got Packeter and Kuda somewhere to fit in there, which is is such a tricky decision what to do these days. I i mean, at the start of the window, I was scared because I always see Liverpool lying at Bowen and Klopp loved him highly. So I was very scared at that point, obviously.
00:14:50
Speaker
That's managed to survive that one in the contract extensions. They're all happy But equally I could have seen could have just you know Someone could have tried to offer some more money or something is a getting a bit of a scary one We've got all these players up top now that all want to play and not enough players None of positions to play them in really so it's just a bit of a tricky one on our side how we set it all up but I mean I mean, I honestly thought you guys were going to be picking up Pacattar this window up until obviously I think each each club's respectively had a hoobers and news. You guys had a few things going on outside of the pitch and ah obviously so is Pacattar as well. We're all here on a Brazilian island and putting all the yellow card bets in. Yeah, I mean, I think Pacattar was a player that almost looked kind of destined to be in a city share at some point.
00:15:32
Speaker
think i mean I think he did probably want to move at some point. and I think he was quite respectful to West Ham in terms of you know how he was approaching that transfer. I think if that had come about at a different time then maybe we would have already bought him sort of thing. but I mean, listen, if it all gets cleared and it it find out that he hasn't done anything that he's been alleged to do, then I'm sure we'd probably go straight back in for him. And I'd like to hope from our point of view, probably not from your point of view, that that would come with a little bit of a cheaper price tag. I mean, it'd be another year into his contract at the time and and maybe that'd lower his price tag. but
00:16:06
Speaker
there's no doubt about the quality of player that Pakatar has. i mean I feel like he was one of the standout players of the Premier League for me last season and the season before. he's just Every time you look at him play, he's exciting. He gets you off the seats and he's the type of player that you kind of want to watch play. and I think he's been fantastic in a West Ham shirt.
00:16:25
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, I'll be honest, I think Man City and Lucas Paketa will probably pass each other on their way to their respective hearings anyway. We'll probably pass them in the corridor on the way to court. and But yeah, I really like Lucas Paketa, like Jack said,
00:16:42
Speaker
very, very good player. He's got so much flair. It's unbelievable. He's so good on the ball. But what I love about Lucas Paketa is perhaps the one thing that he's most underrated in, and that's his final ball. If you actually watch Lucas Paketa, his ability to thread a ball through the eye of a needle is very impressive. His final ball, again, and I i mean no disrespect when I say this,
00:17:07
Speaker
When he's playing through ball to perhaps a slightly lower quality of player, that says a lot to me, you know, that he can do that. Because we have someone like Kevin De Bruyne who does that, but he's got the highest quality of player around him. And Paquita is able to manipulate the ball like it's on a string with lesser quality teammates. And I think that just speaks to how good of a player he is.
00:17:30
Speaker
And I think if he could stay at West Ham, I think he would obviously bring you to a different level. But I think, unfortunately, when you're as good as Lucas Parker ties, there's always going to be vultures that want him. Yeah, that's it. I've been very scared with the likes of him, Bowen, and Kudas, just people that very easily I can see playing at the clubs in different shirts, which I would never want to see. But equally on the same side of it, I ah yeah,
00:17:54
Speaker
I've been very yeah running running out of fingernails this window. I've been out biting them very nervously, hoping that nothing comes through. but but yeah I want to talk about how you guys see you guys shaping up for the match obviously at the weekend and obviously how we are going to be planning to obviously win 5-0. We'll go into that, but it's time for a ah for another web from um one of our sponsors.

Match Lineup Predictions

00:18:38
Speaker
Now, as we think about the formations and how each team is going to respectfully shape up, do you reckon there's going to be any significant change to how you guys looked last weekend? I'll let you take this one, Keelan, because I'm not too sure. What do you reckon? and To be honest, the short answer is no. um I think the only difference is going to be Rodry's back in training for Man City, and he's going to go in where Mateo Kavicic has been playing. Outside of that, I don't see any major changes from the team that we put up against Dipswitch. You're probably going to see De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva in central midfield again because that worked really, really well. You'll probably see Savio and Daku on their respective wings again because I thought they had excellent games against Dipswitch. Holland obviously is going to start and then I think in defence it's probably going to be Vardial, Diaz.
00:19:29
Speaker
and kind of and then or AKA actually yes and then probably Rico Lewis keeps his spot at right back pivoting into midfield to support the midfield three so yeah the only the only major change I see for us is Rodry playing the six again but probably the same team apart from that.
00:19:48
Speaker
It's interesting. It's a bit different, I guess, in situations. I mean, you guys are out of your superstar CDM at the moment. And so we really, because we've had Alvarez out for the but you know foreseeable until last week. ah He's just come back into playing last night. So happy days for us in that sense. open we're getting a Hopefully, I'm fingers crossed he starts. We've been having great arguments about our midfield, obviously, because we've got Rodriguez, Sujek, and Alvarez, who are we going to play where? Because ah once again, too many good players, not enough positions for us at least.
00:20:16
Speaker
but um But yeah, I think our biggest problem for us shaping up against you obviously is do we play four or five at the back? i'm goingnna We've all discussed, I think we're going to stay four because there's no reason to change it too much. Maybe it's ah it's a tricky one from our side to discuss it. I think it's do we keep the system and get everyone settled because every week and more of our signings are coming on earlier.
00:20:38
Speaker
And we're at the point now where does Wambasaka start? I think so. I really, I like Kufal to bits for the money we got for him and how much he's been a vital tool for us throughout the window and and and obviously the

Player Roles and Defensive Strategies

00:20:50
Speaker
seasons. But I really think that it's his time to start now and we need Wambasaka to be starting against you guys if we want at least that.
00:20:58
Speaker
sort of safety for Bowen to go forward, knowing that we can, you know, try and get a few more chances on goal if we can get any. But, uh, but yeah, I think our biggest threat, you know, it was going to be Antonio or Falkberg up top. That's, there's a lot of question marks really whether the signings now take over from some of the sort of more loyal positions from the players we really have, I think. But, uh, but yeah, I still want to see Kilman do a job against you guys at the back. I think if we look like a brick wall like normal, I can see the back really being, you know, Emerson, one was soccer Kilman, and then.
00:21:27
Speaker
Who's that a second center back i'm i'm really leaning on maverick panel just to keep the consistency what's up today but this point is it too early for him that's what i want to say it's tricky is one that i think about a few questions for in the week of you know why is the starting as much as everyone else is him and some of the probably the two so what do you expect to get more game time.
00:21:46
Speaker
It's tricky. I watched a bit of the game last night with Bournemouth, and today we're starting for the match and came off at half time. I thought he he probably looked a bit more sloppy than I'd expected. Now, I don't think that's a pretty generic one across the board for his game, but I think he got a bit of a chance and didn't quite take it as much as he'd have liked to, because ah he gave two very clear shots on target to Palace in the first half, where you just wouldn't have expected anyone to be doing it. as um I think there's a few times of sort of scraping up the mess and trying to sort of fix what's gone on.
00:22:15
Speaker
And then obviously, I don't think I've got taken quite well at halftime with him coming off. But um but yeah, i think I think if he's going to get any minutes, it'll be towards the back end, I'm i'm pretty sure. But I just want to see. I do want to see out of the signings at least full crew start as well as as Wamba Saka as well, since they've been doing a ridiculously good job. I mean, i our last game.
00:22:34
Speaker
Cougar came on for 30 minutes and he had the most sort of, I think it was the most aerial connections I think it was out of everyone on the pitch for 30 minutes. And then obviously, I think our key player, which I think you'll be watching out for is, could have what happened at the end of last season with his naughty little kicks. Unbelievable player. I was at the ground when that happened and fortunately you were kicking out the other end.

Well I think at that time I was probably a bit too drunk to even remember what happened but I just remember hearing like some big crowd noise from the writer mix who sat right next to the West Ham fans and I looked up I wasn't even watching the game at the time because I was already halfway through celebrating and just seeing that he'd scored the most unbelievable goal I've ever seen live it was fantastic.

I actually think that Kudus is probably, I'll call him the best of the rest. I'd say the best player outside the top six. And I honestly think he's that good, but I mean, you touched upon it there. I completely agree. I think one Bassaka should start for you because if you're looking at, we've got probably the best one V one dribbler, you know, in world football at the moment in Jeremy Doki end products, not there quite yet, but he beats a man almost nine times out of 10.
00:23:40

you kind of want to have the best 1v1 defender in world football in Arowan Bassaka to kind of combat him. So it's almost a tool that if you've got at your disposal, you need to have them on the pitch. Yeah, 100%. I think our solicit at the back will be what gives us the edge, I think, of at least a chance at you know being able to get a few more opportunities going forward. I think with the sort of system we've had previously with Moyes, it's a lot more of that trying to keep as much as you can at the back in a solid state. But also, most of the time, we've had less than 30% of the ball, whereas we've had 45%, 50% now. and i fucking

Speaker
<unk>d I'd be much happy with this game. um i'll I'll talk about final predictions in a minute, but if we can get a draw with a decent bit of the position as well, I'd be more than happy with this match, but equally as well.

Match Predictions and Key Player Impact

00:24:26

If there's a chance of the little cheeky one nil, i'll I'll love it as well. But um but yeah, but before we close, actually, then just I guess from your guys' sort of perspective, final predictions, i got where are your heads at? I'll take you where you're thinking wins, but I guess by how far a margin?
00:24:45
Speaker
and To be honest with you, I'll say the same thing that I said to the Ipswich guys, because I have a ah hard time believing that we keep clean sheets anymore. ah we whom We've got you know sort of the the best set of defenders on the planet, and yet we never seem to keep a clean sheet. So I'm going to say that you will score, and especially since you know that last game at the end of the season against you guys, if kudos is on the pitch, I'm fearing that we won't keep a clean sheet. Like you likely said, you've got full Krug up there who He's known for kind of bullying defenders, no matter how big and strong they are. He's just kind of your version of Harlan in that sense, that he will just occupy a whole lot for. So I think we will win. and I don't think it's going to be as clean cut as many maybe many city fans will think. and And I don't think it's going to be the most open game actually. So I'm going to go 2-1. All right.
00:25:33
Speaker
that's ah That's a good prediction, Jack. I actually think it is going to be more defined than that.

Manchester City’s Strong Start and Attack Strategy

00:25:40
Speaker
And it's more so because of how City have started the year. If City had started the way they normally do, I'd be much more conservative about where I think this game is going. The problem is Holland just looks hungry for goals now. De Bruyne, that second goal that Holland scored at the weekend was exactly what we should be doing with Holland.
00:26:00
Speaker
firing balls over the top letting him running behind force the defense and the disarray and i think that's what we're gonna do more of. And I think West Ham have real potential in their defence but I think there's also a lot of inexperience. And I wonder what they're going to do if Holland makes those runs in behind. Are they going to be able to stand firm or are they going to crumble? And I think just with the way City are ticking, I do think Jared Bowen's going to score though because I love Jared Bowen and he always causes us problems. But I just think City are going to have too much and I'm going to say 3-1 City.
00:26:35
Speaker
Oh, all right. That's they very, very bold admiration from both of you. What do you think? i'm I'm going to go one all. I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm saying throughout it already that i've I've been feeling that a draw could be on the cards and I'm going to, I'm going to do it. It's either going to be a ah ridiculously early goal or we, we do go park the bus or there's going to be something really contentious. I think that's going to happen in the game. And that's where we might get an extra chance here or there than we, we don't expect, but it's a, yeah, it'd be interesting. I know you you say Bowen's that one that causes problems for you guys. It was like game. I remember a good couple of seasons back now, where it was at two and a half time. And then you guys luckily might get that drop back to us, but ah
00:27:10
Speaker
ah those two right Yeah, and i still that's what I think about when I think of him doing a bit of a job for you against you guys.
