And obviously Tottenham are competing in the Europa League, so potentially going to make a whirlwind of changes, given that they given that their manager is you know potentially fighting for his job. If they don't come out with something from the Europa League, then their performance this season has undoubtedly been but not what Tottenham fans hope for. i don't think it's anything they ever hoped for, but they never seem to quite get where they they think they're capable of.

given the size of the stadium and the income of that club, it's kind of shocking where they are. But who am I to say? However, we are undefeated in four, as you mentioned, we're actually undefeated in four top flight clashes with Tottenham, winning three and drawing one, amazingly, over recent times. We do have pretty good record against them. And obviously last year, Sarabia scoring that beautiful volley against them and when he came on and got an assist and a goal to turn the game around. it's fantastic.

people rubbing up the wrong way, but I think it was he was hard done by, he's been working hard all season, you could see it, he's kind of been run ragged, but even when he wasn't scoring, his work off the ball was solid, um and now it's almost frustrating that people are praising him again, who were slagging him off a couple of weeks before, because they've said he wasn't good enough, and now he scored back-to-back goals in a few games, and suddenly everyone loves you again, it's just the typical way of football fans, it's kind of frustrating, but Oh, well, we've seen it before and we'll see it again. um but yeah, it's it's a strange time. It's a strange time, but it's good to be alive.

It's it's late here and I'm ah um i'm just so excited for this weekend. The fact that we are now 12 points ahead of Ipswich, hopefully that victory against them at the weekend has kind of put the final nail in the coffin and kind of just destroyed their morale, despite their win against Bournemouth.

They really needed to beat us to obviously close that gap down. That victory hopefully has put that to bed. It's still not mathematically certain, but given the form we're in even if we don't win this weekend, if we say get a draw and just continue at that steady pace, I think we're going to be absolutely fine. I'm really excited for a full season under Vitor Pereira. Obviously, only signed 18 months. I think, or I hope, given the mistakes in rushing increased contract to Gary O'Neill, that they won't rush to do the same for Vitor, especially given that he hasn't actually stayed at many clubs in recent years for very long.

given that he's all about the Premier League, this is where he's wanted to prove himself for such a long time, it would seem odd for him to want to walk away within these first 18 months if he's given an opportunity to continue to succeed.

Now, Rodrigo Gomez, you would consider to be the kind of ready-made built-in stand-in for potentially the likes of Semedo. then... and then Pedro Lima is obviously kind of working his way up, still even younger and and more inexperienced, but there's there's a player there.

But um whatever people think of Sarabia, and I personally love Sarabia, and he showed his use coming on against Ipswich, those games where we are going to dominate possession, you need players like him that see the game differently and can play passes that other people won't see.

you know and he... finds those pockets of space when everyone else is kind of stagnant and other team have got everyone behind the ball. He's the kind of player you need.

And you see him in some of the videos where the new players came in in January, where he was showing people around and the manner that he was going and doing one-to-one drills, to people to help them settle in during their warmups and things, and before they were bedded into the squad, that he's clearly doing it off the, you know, out of match day as well. He is leading by example as a captain in a different manner that we don't necessarily see day-to-day on the pitch. um

And it feels like, to be honest, since he signed that contract extension, what's even more ridiculous is he's getting paid so much money now to not play. Because since then, he's been suspended more than he's played.

He's been off the pitch between injury and between suspensions, he's played less games since he got the contract extension than before. And I get that there's prima donnas like that. And that's what, you know, there's almost an acceptance that some people just, you're going to have a superstar, that's what they do. But it's not acceptable, i don't think.
