Daryll Garcia: I think this is probably one of the most fun seasons that I can remember. You know?
Edgar and Daryll: Oh, for sure. i mean, definitely the closest. um The closest. Although I feel like last year maybe we still had... I think we still had a ah bigger raise for the number six seed.
Edgar and Daryll: I think there was like three teams that were maybe like implicated where we for sure only have two right now, but just a lot.
Edgar and Daryll: It was, there was just so much getting there, right? There was so many weeks where things were changing. And and even and now we'll we'll go over some of that later in the show, yeah,
Daryll Garcia: I'll tell you what, I remember watching last year and having fun because I had that electric um electrifying player named Gibbs. Oh my gosh, he was doing so good for me.

Edgar and Daryll: yeah But he has a there's a grade one, two, and three. Usually grade one, there's really no structure damage. It's more like inflammation. ah Two, some like mild tears, and usually three can be like a complete like tear of a ligament or things like that. When you have a grade one, it's mainly all pain tolerance. There's a little bit of swelling, but generally you can walk...
Edgar and Daryll: ah When we had our or brocation that one time that I messed up my ankle, I think I had like a grade two and I played all the games that weekend.

Edgar and Daryll: And was my foot swollen the whole entire weekend? For sure. But that's why i believe that's why I believe in the song, Gad. I don't necessarily believe too much in Tesla, but maybe Tesla takes away from Williams.
Edgar and Daryll: And Williams maybe has another goose egg.

Edgar and Daryll: The Thanksgiving week matchup, the two best friends, both teams, came ready to stuff the points down the way Carlos stuffs down turkey.
Daryll Garcia: Awesome.
Edgar and Daryll: But after Amon Ra had its ankle rolled on by mini semi, Edgar hopes to finally beat Daryl began to falter like a kid's diet during Christmas. Daryl was able to put Edgar away with the same person that put the commanders away during the weekly Broncos heart attack game.
Edgar and Daryll: Shout to my Broncos! Then we have what I hoped was Tom beating Randall from recess. However, Randall must have stolen Tom's homework as he buried Tom before the last bell of recess was done.
Edgar and Daryll: The only bright spot on on Tom's team this week was Mahomes and all the bench points he could have gotten him the victory.
Daryll Garcia: Thank you.
Edgar and Daryll: Andrew comes out on top and is in search for the number six seed of the playoffs. Another matchup was that that was super lopsided was Rommel versus Troy. And although Bucky Irving came back with a good game and Josh Allen had more than 15 points, it was not enough to beat down both Stafford, Nickel, and Goff, who put...
Edgar and Daryll: versus who put up a bunch of trump points versus Troy. Romo continues to move forward in the hopes to get the first seed and be able to take a break for one week and spend the weekend with his mom and the twins.
Edgar and Daryll: Then the weekly matchup of a Alejandro versus McGuire. The White Goliath versus whatever mix of Hispanic Goliath that Alejandro is. His much size was tinkling this week as A.J. Brown put almost 40 points against him. I guess winning can't get you what you want. It looks like McGuire continues to have brisket for breakfast as he continues to put up numbers that should have been on Nared's team.
Edgar and Daryll: And that was our Week 13 Recap. Oh, yeah. And ah Carlos and Nereth also had a had a matchup this week. Didn't really matter.

Edgar and Daryll: ah Well, I think I've beaten you in the postseason a couple times.
Daryll Garcia: ah I don't know. But ever since we made that bet that jayp David Johnson wasn't going to score 50 points, and then he did, ah you haven't won since then.

Daryll Garcia: i feel like.
Edgar and Daryll: No, no. It's been bad. And i really needed this win. And to tell the truth, like, my team had a good week. They had a good week. Everybody scored double-digit points, but your team also scored double-digit points. And then, of course, Aminor Asun Brown having a goose egg.
Edgar and Daryll: I think that i mean that's correct.
Daryll Garcia: was not the Bolivian.
Edgar and Daryll: Well, that that buried me, right? and And had I won that, I would have been pretty poised to get... I would have almost guaranteed myself the the number six seed. So I would have guaranteed myself a spot in there. But because...
Edgar and Daryll: That's not the case, right? And then Andrew went ahead and won. Now, Andrew and I are both tied at 7-6. this week's matchup it becomes kind of a big deal, right? So let's go over the matchups real fast this week.
Daryll Garcia: I think one of the most important matches to speak is going be you versus Romo. And currently, Romo is projected to win with a 53% chance in you having 47%.
Edgar and Daryll: Yes. Mm-hmm.
Daryll Garcia: So how are you feeling?
Edgar and Daryll: um I mean, I think it's, i don't know. We'll see. I'm really hoping Amun-Ra puts up career game because, you know, he wants to prove everybody that he can go out there and play.
Edgar and Daryll: And maybe I'll get it, but it's it's an uphill battle. um i think at the think at the end of the day, I'm probably going to be relying on the other person that looks just like me, which is our next matchup of of Andrew versus Carlos.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.

Edgar and Daryll: And how's that matchup looking?
Daryll Garcia: i mean, it's Thursday and Andrew still hasn't had, ah doesn't have a full lineup yet. So it's hard to say, but Drake may is currently on by.
Daryll Garcia: And so with him being on the QB one spot right now, it says that Carlos is projected to win with a 60% win rate or percent change.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: Well, i mean, we we know that's not going happen, right? Like, he he has Kirk Cousins, which he can put him up there. But Carlos should still be projected to to potentially win, right? the i think the issue with Carlos' team is that Lamar Jackson continues to be questionable. I think he had like an well he had like an ankle issue at some point. Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: um But he just hasn't been looking like Lamar Jackson. Yeah.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah, ever since he injured his hamstring, i don't know if they're trying to arrest him He says he's not injured, but... Yeah, he's not running like he used to and He's actually not throwing like he used to.
Edgar and Daryll: No, well, the the hamstring is definitely playing a big role.
Daryll Garcia: I feel like it's throwing down.
Edgar and Daryll: And then you have Herbert, who broke his hand and had surgery on Monday. He's supposed to play. He's, like, casted. I saw a video of him. But he's supposed to play, right? So Carlos' team, although on paper, looks like he could potentially beat Andrew, drew there's a lot of scary stuff happening in that lineup this week.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah, and I mean, if I was Andrew, I probably wouldn't play Kirk Cousins. i don't know. This is not advice, Andrew, but putting in Kirk Cousins your QB1 slot is like putting no QB in your QB1 slot. He is horrible.
Edgar and Daryll: I mean, you know, i don't mind it. I don't mind it.

Edgar and Daryll: And then I'm automatically in the wild card. If we both lose, then he has to make sure that he still beats my score by at least 51 points or 52 points for him to make it.
Edgar and Daryll: um So there's more ways for me to get in than for him to get in right that's that's And that is for playoff spots.
Daryll Garcia: right, right. Okay.
Edgar and Daryll: right The rest of the four are already in right You're in. Alejandro's in. So congratulations. You're in the playoffs. Alejandro, congrats. Maguire, congratulations. And Romo, congrats. Now is just about seeding.
Edgar and Daryll: And who is going to get that first? it It's pretty much just who's going to get the fart the first seed.
Daryll Garcia: The first week actually going to be a pretty good matchup between the two.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah. So our next matchup is Alejandro versus Troy. What can you tell us about that matchup?
Daryll Garcia: You have a 50, literally 50-50 according to the ESPN projections right now. With... I mean, Josh Allen should put up a pretty good game against Cincinnati. He's been not looking like himself ah until, like I think last week, he actually did decent.
Daryll Garcia: He put up 16 points. But yeah, i think it I think Troy's team is looking pretty good with Bucky Irving going against Norlin and Puka Nakua having Matt Stafford against Arizona.
Edgar and Daryll: yeah, it's ah it mean it's a heavy bye week for Alejandro, right? He has no Jawan Jennings, no Christian McCaffrey because they're they're both on bye. ah Now, you know, that it was it's nice that he secured a spot, right? So at the end of the day, you know, so what if you don't get the first, the number one seed?
Edgar and Daryll: at least you're in it, right? So he doesn't worry about it. It's more about positioning. And at this point, like if I was in, it is what it is. If I lose, I lose. If I win, I win. No big deal, right?

Edgar and Daryll: i mean I mean, yeah, he I mean, Nere has a pretty heavy bye week, so I don't think that Nere really cares about this week.

Daryll Garcia: Well, I just want to say, i went from like the second or third lowest scoring team now to like the middle of back. I'm like, that there yeah, I'm respectable, you know?

Daryll Garcia: Yeah, against the Minnesota Vikings defense, it's kind of scary, but I guess ah I'm happy that Jim Daniels has loosey-goosey joints, you know?
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No structural damage to the elbow ligament. So just a full dislocation, but nothing crazy. so And then, of course, our final matchup is going to be Maguire versus Tom, which it's the same thing.
Daryll Garcia: Ha ha!
Edgar and Daryll: Like Tom doesn't really care anymore, right right? Now that he doesn't care to win, which I know he's going to put his best foot forward. He's going to take, you know, if London's in play, he's going to switch them out.
Edgar and Daryll: However, for Tom, it's just another game. It doesn't matter. For Maguire, though, it's the potential for the number one seed, which has been there couple of times.
Daryll Garcia: I mean, it'd be great, Maguire, somehow your team does not do well. and And I can get the first. you know you know Help a brother out.
Edgar and Daryll: I have a brother out I mean, and the crazy thing is that it can happen, right?
Daryll Garcia: Yeah. It's kind
Edgar and Daryll: Well, because you And Maguire and Romo both have nine and four records.
Daryll Garcia: of crazy.
Edgar and Daryll: so And you're not playing each other, right? So whoever wins. So if Maguire wins, it's automatically there because he gets it from points four. Although Romo is close. So Romo can still kind of take it, but I don't think he's that close.
Daryll Garcia: He has to get like 40 points.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, which can happen. It could happen. And then, of course, if Maguire loses, which it it's not looking like he's going to lose, but if it does lose, because crazier things will happen, then ah he automatically basically gets it.
Daryll Garcia: Then Romo. Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: But if it does lose, then it's between you and Romo. And, of course, if Romo wins, you're not going to catch him up on points.
Daryll Garcia: Right. He's like points ahead of me
Edgar and Daryll: Right? so Yeah, so then you're rooting for me to be Romo. And then for you to win.
Daryll Garcia: Well, there you have it. There you have it. I'm rooting for you this week, not last week, this week.
Edgar and Daryll: Yeah, yeah. So it's going to be interesting. I mean, like I said, we still have the seating positioning. I think that's going to be fun. But, yeah, it's um it'll be interesting. It'll be a good a good rest of the week.

I still like the idea of the potential of just having the bottom two teams ah automatically be tossed into sackle.
Edgar and Daryll: But I really enjoy the way we have it now. if we would If we would do it that way, Carlos and Tom would automatically have gone to the SACO right now, right? Like, this is it.

Daryll Garcia: that happened last week. Last week I asked my brother about you and Carlos' trade and I said, hey, without telling him who was trading, I was like, hey, tell me what you think about this trade. You know, your Henderson and Burrow for Saquon and Isaiah Davis trade.

Daryll Garcia: So my brother was like, it's actually not a bad trade. He says not too lopsided.

Edgar and Daryll: i don't i'm all I'm in it for myself. right Of course, i want I want to help people out when I trade, and I want to make sure that I'm giving pretty good trades. And I want to tell you, I gave a lot better trades to individuals than what I was getting, for the exception of maybe one or two with me and Tom. Edgar and Daryll: What if, and and this is just hypothetically speaking, if we continue to have the wild card, right? So what if we send what if we just send that last place to the SACO, right?
Daryll Garcia: What's that?
Edgar and Daryll: So last place automatically gets sent to the SACO, but then the loser of the wild card then joins them in the SACO.
Edgar and Daryll: so
Daryll Garcia: Oh, yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: So then you don't want to get last place, right? Because you automatically get the Sacco, right? Just like we get the first place buy, why not get a first last place, first last place, last place straight into the Sacco?
Edgar and Daryll: And then we have a ah bottom four wild card or bottom three wild card. um No, yeah, it would be bottom four wild card. Whatever the the bottom ones would be wildcard.
Daryll Garcia: Yeah.
Edgar and Daryll: And then that last place goes to the Sacco to join last place. And then the first place of that wildcard makes it to the next round.
