I get it. The weekends can be, you know, hectic and it could put you in a little bit of a slump. Now, if you're ready to shake off that slump and go crazy and control your week, then you're in the right place.

Now, I want to start by painting a picture. Imagine your life as a car. And right now you are in the driver's seat, but instead of cruising down the road, you're stuck apart. Now, the good news is that you got the keys in your hands.

And you had the power to put it in drive. Now today, we are going to explore how to take control and steer your life towards your dreams. But first things first, what does it even mean to have control of your life?
Creating a Vision with a Vision Board

To truly steer your life, you need a clear vision, right?

Now, it's almost like having a destination on a road trip. Without it, you might end up lost. You might end up stuck in traffic. You might end up in the middle of the jungle, not knowing where you are. For anyone that has been following me, you understand when I say that. um So I want you guys to start by asking yourself,

What do I really want? I want you to picture that. Put it in like vivid detail. Maybe it's a fulfilling career. Maybe it's a balanced lifestyle. Maybe it's just deep personal growth. I want you guys to write that down. You can even create a vision board. This is like the more vivid your destination, the clearer your path will become. Trust me when I say that.
Setting Manageable Steps Towards Goals

Now it's time to break it down into manageable steps. Think of it think of it like planning planning your route. you know if your If your goal is to run a marathon, you're obviously not going to start your first day by running 26 miles. That's just not smart. You want to set smart goals, like achievable goals.

if If, I don't know, if your goal is to start a business, the first step might be researching your market and creating a business plan. You wanna take it one step at a time and do not forget to celebrate all the wins along the way. you know you you can You can manage your time effectively by um ah like you know ah prioritizing your your task. And what I mean by that is Just say if you got a bunch of things to do.

but you're not tackling things that are most urgent. Maybe something's due in three days. Maybe you got something else that you have to be done for two days.
Prioritizing and Establishing Routines

Maybe something's super urgent, but like all these things are in your head, and you're just like, I don't know where to start, and it can just be very overwhelming. So if you actually write your task down, this is urgent. This is not due for two days. This is not due for three days. This is not really that important.

I'm telling you guys, when you do this, um it's it's almost like having a map for your journey, right? And and it's it's going to it's it's gonna be good for you. um Starting a good morning routine. I'm telling you, i when I'm stuck in a routine, like this really just sets my day up right. So today, you know i I started doing the saunas again,

and the cold plunge, so I did a sauna, cold plunge straight to the gym, and then boom, back to work, and I'm telling you, when I start my morning out like this, I'm just ready, and I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. As you can tell, I'm getting pretty hugged here right now. um But like doing this, and and being consistent with this, like that's I'm telling you, like it's when you develop these habits to support your goals, it's gonna make your progress just just effortless, you know?
Embracing Challenges as Lessons

um You know, taking taking control sometimes means that you're gonna be facing challenges. And these challenges, these bumps in the roads, bumps in the roads, I can't talk this morning, bumps in the road, um it's those are just lessons. Like sometimes it's, you know, these bumps, these these challenges, it can be very like, hard and you're going to want to quit. What I'm telling you guys, every single successful person out there, they have all faced setbacks. Now, what sets them apart from all the quitters and people that don't really make it is

They don't stop. They just keep going, you know? but Now, like, if you hit a roadblock, just assess the situation. Like, adjust, keep moving forward, right? You just, you just, that that's that's the biggest thing. You just have to keep moving forward. You can't just stop.

Get down on yourself. Oh, I don't want to do this and then you're not motivated and then you just stop and then you're not gonna take control of your life and do the things Achieve your goals now. This thing is frickin important.
The Power of a Supportive Environment

Okay surround yourself with Good people people that's gonna uplift you support you help you You know, we all got those friends that follow us on our on our social media pages or business pages, whatever, they see it, they don't like it, they don't comment, they don't share it. They just look at it. But then you got those people online that you never met before and they support the fuck out of you. They share everything, they comment on everything. I'm telling you, support your friends, man. Support your freaking friends. Share their stuff, it matters. Like the algorithm,

Like it it that truly matters. I'm yeah i'm like i'm getting a little bit heated on this topic because I see you guys I know I know you guys I know which ones of you that are watching and that's all you're doing is just watching um But yeah, it's just surround yourself with with with good people. Also, they're not around topic of social media like think about your algorithm your your explore page and Do you have a bunch of ah cat videos? A bunch of videos of naked women? A bunch of videos of just unreal food? Is that really going to help you achieve what you are doing?

in life, right? Like I said, it like maybe one of your goals is to start a business. Maybe you should clean up your social media so you're following people that are giving you tips and advice on starting a business. Because if you go on TikTok right now and you type down ah steps I can take to start a business, what are the top five things that I need to do to start a business? There's thousands of people on social media giving you all the advice that you need for free.

for free, you have zero excuses on not knowing what to do to start a business, right? I get it, it could probably be hard, but all of the things that you need is on social media, right? So like a positive environment, it's gonna enhance your drive and just make you focus on what actually really matters, right? And you know, yeah well but Geez, I can't talk this morning, Adam! God, I love making fun of myself. um I apologize. So, as you're doing this, like, you want to set some some time aside to just like... reverse re Oh my God, Adam! Review your week! What is wrong with me? Like, you want to just reflect on everything that you're doing, right?
Reflecting on Progress and Celebrating Success

But yeah, like when you acknowledge your progress and like give yourself some credit, it just fuels your motivation to just keep going forward. i So I know I said a lot there. let's just take Let's just take a deep breath, especially me because I can't talk.

If your goal is to lose weight and get in better shape but you're waking up at 6 a.m. and the first thing you're doing is going to to Tim Hortons and getting a large coffee with three kids,

I actually can't talk today. Three cream and two sugars, a bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate muffin. That's probably not the best choice to make for for to lose lose your weight. You don't want to start your day with sugar and bullshit and processed foods. Probably not a good choice. So you want to make choices that's going to align your vision and goals.
