I'm not going to be critical, but Isaac probably could have had a hat rig in the first 25 minutes. That's how good we were. That's not a criticism for him. That's how good Newcastle were. I know we kind of drifted off a bit back at the end of the second, sorry, the first half, but especially the first 20-25 minutes, we were so intense. It could have been a good 3-0, 4-0 up. And like you say, EZAC should add his hat trick, so you've kind of already teared that bit up. But as a collective, we did nothing wrong, absolutely nothing wrong. Solid at the back, pressing them, man, you were not in the game at all. It's as simple as that. We literally dominated them from front to back, back to front, whatever you want to call it there, and the midfield man.

ah um We managed the game really well. We had about a five-minute spell of possession where we couldn't get the ball off us. We were not going to round it back. Having the Bravka in goal is absolutely brilliant, by the way, because he can just spray it with a set of halves or he can spray it with a full back and it helps us out massively. I thought the game management from a 59-minute was brilliant, um and we started defending even better than we were in the first half of that second half, and we we just had possession. Tenali should be a Bruno, Jolin, and just so comfortable on the ball. Isaac was coming deep, leaning back to the midfielders.

We already had our confidence just to keep them at bay. Keep them, like they look beaten in the first half an hour and we should have left it that way, but we didn't. It's, you know, it's how it rolls. And like you said, they come out for the second half. Man, you were the better team I would say for a good 15 minutes um or looked like the mate. I would say better, you know, I'm not saying we were poor but by the way. We just weren't as an in as intense, let's say, as we were in the first half.

I think when botment comes back, um, and I don't think Eddie will drop him by the way, cause Eddie's not that type of manager where he'll be like, oh, star boy's back. Burn you're out.

I think he will stay loyal at Bern, but rightly so. Cause I think he's been unbelievable this season. He really has, but he has been a massive part of what happened in the second half as well. The defence as a whole was so strong. We kept our shape the whole time as well though.

He wasn't really doing anything. I was kind of just watching him. He was just all about, but he was knackered. You know, like, what do you expect from him at the same time? So I'm not saying he's done anything wrong. The guy's just knackered.

Look, we had a game plan and a lot of times a season Newcastle will have a game plan every game, of course it will, but early on in the season we didn't really execute it but still got results and we started to execute a type of game plan but we just weren't clinical and we started losing some games. Now it seems like we've come together, which is obviously what every Newcastle fan wanted. We are performing well and the game plan is working. We switched game plan today in the second half. We went a lot more defensive. I think, personally, we were trying to conserve our energy have a quick turnaround the place but a quick turnaround to play the Spurs game and then obviously we've got we've had a lot of games ah previously as well so I think I think that was a little bit of thinking in it but we all know 2-0 leads can be dangerous but we pulled it off 2-0 win very very happy with that par three we're going to talk oh go on Ian yep

I thought he was absolutely brilliant tactically, dropping into a back five when Murphy was going right back. He came inside at the right time to help with the midfielders. He was calm. He was a fantastic presence. I thought his delivery he was brilliant when he was on them. He wasn't on all of them. It makes me excited for Azula and I know this sounds silly but Lewis Hall when he first joined didn't get a lot of minutes, Eddie Hall was really patient with him, he didn't panic and throw him in at the deep end. He let him understand his teammates, he let him understand his role as being the future left-back and I think it's paying dividends this season to get him obviously Eddie Hall's biggest fan. God I'm gonna get on the t-shirt but I think I paid dividends just being very patient with him. I think Osuna next year, everyone's calling for Osuna, stick them on, give them 20 minutes, do this, do this. And I get it, I really do understand it, but he's still a young player. He's not as young as Hall was, but he needs time. He needs time to integrate. He needs time to get to know his teammates. I don't think we should panic and just chuck them in. He's got true leadership skills that boy, and I'm not saying Bruno hasn't, he's just not as naturally gifted as trips on that. So you could really see the difference on that.
