Speaker: This is the Musical stylings of Dom and Dahmer Coming at your earbuds From the radio station Of North Hollywood North Hollywood Um, yeah, gotta love North Hollywood. I do. I, um, I don't know why I'm going to open with this story, but, uh, I was just saying it last night. Every time I drive up Laurel Canyon and I get over the hill and then I come up to that Tide cleaners place, that like one random Tide cleaners dry cleaner place. Um,

Speaker: I always catch the person closing up the shop. It's now like been like a routine thing. I somehow seem to be at that red light at the same time every time she's getting off work.

Speaker: Here's my question. So for those that don't know, it is a dry cleaner store, right? Just a regular dry cleaner store. It kind of almost looks like a gas station when you drive up to it. has like a long awning and you know glass doors you walk in. It says Tide Cleaners, like Tide, the detergent company. So I'm wondering, is it truly like Tide went brick and mortar? we Since we already sell all the shit for it, we might as well just have a sponsored dry cleaners.

Speaker: Yeah. That's nuts. I've never seen that before. tim I think about that every time I drive by. It's giving like they did something like that as like a pop up somewhere and and it worked. I honestly, when they first did it, I thought it was just a pop up. And maybe they were like, hu well, keep it we'll pay the rent. Yeah, why not?

Speaker: Because I'm like, dry cleaners are notoriously great business ventures. i don't know if you know that. Oh, really? Yes. A lot of people, from what I have been served on the internet constantly, i should be quitting my nine to five and invest all my money Into dry cleaners. It's like low operating costs, high yield. It's like they're saying like everyone does laundry and it's like if you just like it's not a lot of upkeep. You only have to like really service them when they break and they're notoriously easy to fix these machines. It's like all you're really paying for is like ah electric and water, which is is like if you get machines that are

Speaker: conservative conservative or whatever, yeah or environmentally friendly, yeah you you don't have to do as much. so And people like post how much money they make every month and you' like really ah how much they spend on electricity.

Speaker: And a lot of money is made on, like you bring your load there, you bring your load, and you give them your load, and then they sort it for you. Okay. yeah Yeah. That's where they make most of their money is like people just dropping stuff off and like a wash and fold situation. Yeah. Yeah. um That's amazing. It's funny. It, you know,

Speaker: Let there be a recession to tell you what or where you could be making money um that didn't involve your college degree, that didn't involve any other yeah focus other than putting your money towards opening a dry cleaner.

Speaker: I was thinking when I was getting the haircut, I was like, damn, I was having this moment in the chair going, yeah, like everyone has hair, you know, at one point. And it's like.

Speaker: so many people in the world needing their hair haircut like you're you're kind of set you can always have this job because people are always going to be cutting their hair there's not going to be some mass let's all grow out out our hair together and not take care of it you know unless you're in a cult yeah but you know what Whatever. Those people don't need haircuts and they're not part of my business plan. Exactly. But yeah, you know, just those types of jobs and career choices that like, you know, i it's kind of crazy because you you would think like with any job, you're like, oh, this job would always exist. But as we have seen.

Speaker: no Less and less jobs need to exist now. But here's the thing. there There's going to hair cutting robots. There's going to be all this shit. they're trying to They're trying to get rid of any job you I mean, i will never pay a robot to cut my hair.

Speaker: Yeah, no. Ever. No. Look at the robots that like make dishes that aren't just like set and forget. Like those look crazy and look like they're flying all over the place. And when they do work, it's very like basic and remedial. yeah Yeah. What I need is a human touch.

Speaker: yeah And I'm not going to get that from mr Robot. No, at least not that kind. Not that kind. Yeah. Okay. We had a lot of things. i was like thinking in the car. was like, I want to like catch up on activities we've done and been to and whatnot over what a month. I don't know why I felt like it was longer, but it's been a month. Yeah. It's been month. um It's been a month.

Speaker: And it was a big month. Yeah. Before I got here, I was helping my friends move. There's no, you cannot put me on camera. Moving is always that. It was fine. It was there. They got a house really close to where they're moving from. And it it was lovely. It was like not stressful. No, they were very easygoing about it. And you get to look at their stuff without being nosy. You know what mean? get to see all your stuff. Exactly. Because like if you go to someone's house, you can't go through their drawers. You can't look through their pantries. Like you can't really do that without being labeled nosy.

Speaker: Car blanche, when you're helping to move, nothing is off limits. I could look in any drawer and be like, what the fuck's in here? I went to town in their kitchen. I was looking at them. Things that are already moved in. You're like, let me look in this. Oh, what's in here? You guys are dealing with that box? OK, I'm just going to take a in your pantry. yeah It was amazing. I saw so many cute little like plates, so many cute little cups, something I and would have never known about their place if I didn't look. and I'm quite happy about that.

Speaker: but i think you also have like a As we've gone into in past episodes, you're like a don't go in my fridge. Don't go in the cupboards like raised that way.

Speaker: So I can understand why also have that standard elsewhere. Actually, you could look through cupboards. I don't care. Like cupboards, fridge is the thing that you're not supposed to do. I don't know why. Russian people are really not OK with you going to someone's fridge. It's like really disrespectful.

Speaker: But I'm like learning that's not a fact anymore. So I've been i've loosened up, but I'm still like, yeah I do kind of go, you know. I know last time i I was here and I went to grab like the lime or the seltzer from the fridge in that moment. I was like, wow, I'm surprised that an alarm didn't go off. And yeah Dasha was behind me with a I just wasn't fast enough, you know, I wasn't fast enough with that karate chop. Yeah.

Speaker: If I if I if I had enough time, get the fuck away from my fridge, I would have said. But you beat me to it. You're quick.

Speaker: Wow. Yeah. Yeah. You're just a fast one. Mm hmm. They say that about me. This month we um we saw a lot of each other, which I'm really happy about. Yeah. We had some we had some good times. We went dancing. it was really fun. yeah I'm glad. and i I really enjoyed that night. I enjoyed her music. I enjoyed the, just the whole set and vibe. was good. um Once again, you you nailed it. You always know what's up. It was really fun. i was glad you, like, like,

Speaker: I did like reach out to you being like, please come, please come. like you really did put stuff aside in order to make it, and I really appreciate it. not it's It's not even that. you know It's just like, and maybe it's just our age or whatever, but the weekends, it it becomes such a balancing act of like using it for rest, but then using it for partying and fun things, and then intermixed as errands that I don't want to do ever. you know and so...

Speaker: was definitely having like one of those moments along with like finances and everything and just being like, oh, like I feel like every time i go out, you know, you don't have to spend money when you go out, even if it like, okay, if something's a ticket price, understandable, but like,

Speaker: you know, I don't need to get to alcoholic beverages. i don't need to necessarily spend money on specific food before after. Um, but then you kind of want to, and then I'm someone who like, if alcohol's in me, oh, suddenly, yeah let me get another, let me spend money on this. Let me spend money on that. If we left there and they were like,

Speaker: Booths on the side of the road with tchotchkes and things to buy. I'm like, oh, yeah. Anytime I go to a concert, ah you know, went to Zara. Yes, it was my friend's birthday.

Speaker: She but was the one who bought the ticket for the dang thing. And then I not only bought two drinks for us, but then because of those two drinks was leaving there being like, oh, and then we're going to stop at the merch. Yeah. I gotta get a shirt I'm gonna get you a handkerchief like all of this and I'm like I do this every time I do too I was like once I get two drinks in me I'm like well make it three I mean if I'm already going like I might as well really go and then it's like by the time you know I'm like, I have to drink some water.

Speaker: At that point, I've already bought a bag. already bought a fan. already bought it some weird glitter I'm never going to use again, but it's on me for some reason. I feel you. It always happens. Yeah. i I didn't tell you what I did when I got home.

Speaker: Ha! I get home. What time? Like 2.30? Yeah, guess so. 2.33? I'm in bed. I'm on my phone, obviously. okay ah Thinking about, oh, we had such a fun night. Thinking, thinking, thinking. I'm on Instagram.

Speaker: At that exact moment, this account I follow where the woman used to be the set designer, sorry, the clothing costumer person on the Matrix films,

Speaker: She and her daughter are starting a clothing brand where they do reproductions of the sweater that Neo wore in it. It's just like the thing that he wore in Nebuchadnezzar, nerdy, nerdy, nerdy, doesn't matter. I've been following because she's like, oh, this is the actual original sketch and sweater from the movie. like We were thinking about redoing them. like Would anyone buy them or whatever? So they are now like doing made to order sweaters.

Speaker: Your girl, 2.30 in the morning, went, yup, I need it. Oh my god. It's coming. i don't know. In like four weeks, I'm going to have a sweater by the woman that made the sweater for the Matrix movies because I am unstoppable on alcohol. yeah You cannot tell me no. So I feel you on that girl, and I'm right there.

Speaker: Yeah, that's rough. I should have kept my phone away, but I went, Because in the morning, it's like you're looking at your bank statement or whatever, and you're like, oh, I spent $120 at this one place, and this one thing for, okay. I mean, I'm not regretting it because it is a part of like history of movies or whatever, and I do really love those movies. It's like a really important thing for me. Do do I need another sweater?

Speaker: No, I do not. Do I need another sweater that looks like it's from ah a place underground where they haven't seen the sun. It's got holes in it and distress in it. No, I really don't need that.

Speaker: But. Mm-hmm. It's coming. I'll wear it. People are going to where did you find it on the side of a road? I'm going, no, I paid a lot of money for it to look like this. Right, right. Yeah. So good for me. Oh, oh, huge shout out.

Speaker: Before I forget, huge shout out to all my draft friends who listen, specifically Marco. I said I was going to shout you out. Shouting you out right now. Woo-woo. Marco was the one that told me about the name of Carl the Carl the fo the fog yes he confirmed that thank you Marco Jordan thank you for listening I don't know if you still listen but thank you very much just how all of you guys thank you so much for listening anybody else who has brought it up on the trip I really appreciate you guys for listening it means a lot to me they were inviting you to prom they want you to come that's right yeah I know if you have some time we should go Yeah, um I would love that. I appreciate that. And shout out to all of Dasha's friends who watch, who listen and watch and and all of that.

Speaker: I could wish I could call out some of my friends, but I don't think any of them listen. I'm just kidding. They probably listen, but they just don don't tell you. I think it's like, a you know, they don't want to they don't want to give you a big head. You know what I mean? yeah they're like Well, Jess listens to us. I know she's said that. But you know what? We do it for you. We do it for us. We do it for the ether. Yeah.

Speaker: It was really fun. They're like, well, how many people listen? I'm like, no one. And they're like, no way. And I was like, at this point, it's you. You're listening and us. And we're just we're gabbing for no one. But it's fine. It's OK. It's OK.

Speaker: Um, you know, it could be for the tens of people, but, um, and that would be nice. You know, when that's insane, when, um, when the world ends and people are starved for content, And they they might click on and they go, oh my god, there's three years of hour plus episodes of two friends talking about nothing. and they go, this is the best thing i've ever gotten. yeah so maybe in like years, we will be in the years of those who need us most Yeah. and or' making a time We're capturing a time before the world ends, which is really lovely and a beautiful sentiment for two friends. That's

Speaker: um All right, let's take a break and we're going to come right back with more of whatever this is. Are your pants too loose? Is the bike chain snapping on your bike?

Speaker: are your pants too

Speaker: Do you have two sticks that are not one stick but two separate sticks? Have you ever imagined those two sticks being one stick together? Then I've got the product for you.

Speaker: It's called Zipties. They're incredibly versatile little things that come in various amounts of sizes. You could use them for almost anything when you don't want to use the proper tool to fix something.

Speaker: I've used them to slap together boxes. I've used them to, again, hold the pants up and fix bike chains when they have snapped. My favorite use for them is um when i put them on wrong and then because you can't unsnap them you kind of have to just throw it out and use another one that's my favorite use that's the most use i've actually gotten out of them um and they're awesome because sometimes you'll put them in one way and it makes no noise because it's the wrong way so you just kind of just wasted a whole i don't know 30 minutes trying to put something in a tiny little hole that's very frustrating Anyway, definitely buy this. It's the best thing that's ever been made. Oh gosh. ah

Speaker: It's show time. Incredible. Cue the boos. Amazing. I remember when that all happened and people were like, oh my God, people were booing her. i'm like, baby, that's a backtrack. Baby, honey, that's just sound environment. No, and she did it because they booed like One Direction the year before the MTV Awards or whatever. and she had that moment where she was like, you're artists. Don't ever let them treat you like that. I almost got up and left because they were doing that. And I was like, I love that. Yeah.

Speaker: Hell yeah. She gets it. Yeah. It's hard to be a performer. It is. we I mean, look at Chapel. She's punching people in the face at red carpets. As she should.

Speaker: As she freaking should. She should be stomping on their asses with those giant clown shoes. Go for it, girl. Yeah. I'm obsessed. Oh, um speaking of which, speaking of shows and amazing shows, i had two of my friends. I saw them perform for real at like in stadiums for the first time. And it was genuinely watching people like do the thing that they're most passionate about and like seeing a true artist like doing art on a huge scale and it was like so inspiring and I felt a lot of emotions and it was like it's possible it happens to some like it was very inspiring so shout out to um my friends Nick and Corey both um we're on tour right now with their bands and I got to see them perform and it was so cool wow where's the venue um It was the Honda Civic Center and Anaheim was where Corey performed. oh my God. And then Hollywood Bowl is where Nick performed. Oh wow. Yeah it was really cool. I was like feeling like a lot of feelings like very like I felt a lot of emotion. I was like wow so it's like really a real thing.

Speaker: Yeah. This is kind of crazy. I just I feel like I've been seeing so much going on at the Hollywood bowl recently. um how What are your thoughts on that as a venue? I love the Hollywood Bowl because it's so like quintessential. It's like very LA. Yeah, it's classic. Yeah.

Speaker: I just find it to be really difficult like logistically, money-wise. like The way that they're pricing it is not correct.

Speaker: Mm-hmm. No offense, but like for that venue, for them to be asking the prices that they're asking for the seats they're asking, i mean, that's every concert venue now. But it's just like so crazy because it's like you're so far up. I guess the acoustics are great because it is like an amphitheater. But I just think it's like so overpriced. But i would if it's like someone I really enjoy performing, I like that it's a smaller venue.

Speaker: you know Because it's like, I'm not going to see them if I go to the SoFi. They're going to specs. Yeah, yeah. But here, I'm like, at least I'm really kind of catching a glimpse. Also, um I took the shuttle from Studio City.

Speaker: Parked, got on this little bus. It took me straight to the Hollywood Bowl, to the top of the hill. I got out, got my seat, got back on it after the show, came home. No fuss, no muss, no parking help.

Speaker: so Wow. Can't guarantee. And it cost like $1.50 for a fucking ride. so That's pretty amazing. People are really getting into public transit.

Speaker: Recession indicator. Another recession indicator. Suddenly people are like, oh my god, we have a train. Actually, this this bus and train isn't that bad. Oh my god, it's crazy. It's just me and a bunch of strangers in a box, and it has wheels on it. And that box goes, it's kind of like a car but bigger. It's imagining a big car. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: Wild. um Yeah. That's cool. Yeah, I the party I'm supposed to go to tonight. My friends are going on the train like taking the train and I suddenly was like, do I do I go with them on the train? Why not?

Speaker: um Because the last time I went on the train literally was when I first moved out here and Adele was performing at the whatever's in downtown. What's that?

Speaker: Not Staples anymore. Crypto? Crypto arena? Yeah. Yeah. um

Speaker: It was the Staples Center at some point, right? Am that up? Yeah, but then crypto bought it, so now it's not. But people still call it the Staples Center. Okay, yeah. Yeah. I refuse to call it the crypto arena. Yes. Because crypto doesn't exist. Right, right. It's not real. A staple, that exists.

Speaker: I've used it. I've never used a crypto. Right. I made some money off of Duolingo. Oh, okay. Yeah, I invested in some stock. ah I doubled my earnings, and then I had to pay rent. So I took it out. but tea I wanted to invest in Dyson because I'm like, I believe in Dyson. ok But then they're not public, so I couldn't. yeah And that sucked. So then I said, second best option, Duolingo. Okay.

Speaker: which is an option. Absolutely. Okay. Dyson not. No. Duolingo. Yes. And I went, I like that green dumb bird. You do. I want it. What are the other languages you've learned from that app?

Speaker: I learned the language of money. i I speak it fluently now. Oh, my Baby. Right, yeah. Tweet, tweet, tweet. Yeah, and that is the universal language. Absolutely. They say it's English or Cantonese, but no, no. It's money. Money talks, baby. Yeah. No, yeah, that's what I did. I think I had Disney stock, but then all that shit happened with Jimmy Kimmel, and I pulled out because of, quote, unquote, morals that I apparently had. And turns out I really should have just kept it in there because I could have...

Speaker: Made a coin or two. yeah Did it go up after the Jimmy Kimmel? I took it out, so I don't know what's going on. But I'm sure it bounced back. I mean, come on. It's like the House of Mouse will never mouse never fail.

Speaker: They won't let it fall. It's like Fannie Mae or whatever. Nothing can stop us now. You can't take away my property value. Wow. Yeah, i wow yeah well. Look at us having a financial segment on Dom and Dahmer. Yeah.

Speaker: um financial segment is, we have no money. Prices are going up. Disney stock does well. You're welcome. Do with that information once you will, people. And our financial segment. And that was it. You're welcome. Imagine someone's like, OK, I'm writing this down.

Speaker: OK, Disney stock, OK? Sell some, replace a tire. Oh, yeah. I know. All my friends, when I met with them in Anaheim, everyone's like, I'm buying a house. I'm buying a house. I'm buying a house. And I'm going, uh-huh. Mm-hmm.

Speaker: I'm renting to rent. I'm like, I'm buying a latte. ah Honey. I'm buying a little. Yeah. I'm buying a tall Starbucks.

Speaker: No creamer. Yeah. No sugar. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's bare bones. It's bare bones. I'm not even doing syrup or anything. Yeah. I'm getting a pup cup. Well, of course. Yeah. Hilarious. I'm getting pup cup.

Speaker: Honey, the recession indicator. Yeah, I pull up to the thing. What would you like? A pup cup? Yeah. Oh, where's the dog? It's for me. I already made the cup of coffee. i just want the pup cup. There's a dog in me. Woof woof. Yes.

Speaker: Oh yeah. There's a dog in me. I like that. There's two wolves inside of me. Wrestling. Wrestling and they both have and indigestion. oh my God, they do. They really do. Sheesh.

Speaker: My God, I had like three Tostitos pizza rolls last night. Oh, my God. Just three. No, it was a lot more. It was a lot more. But I was i was trying to was trying to be a lady. No, it was a lot of more. Heat up the whole oven.

Speaker: Yeah. It was three of us. it was three people. I made a bag of Tostito pizza rolls. Everyone was hungry. No one had any except for me. There were like six left after.

Speaker: So how many is that? That's OK. This is our math section. Math segment. no math Financial segment. math Math segment. You have six Tostito rolls. Left after doing a whole bag for three people, but only one person really ate a majority of it. How How many times did I take a chicken last time? Okay, sounds like you had 42 pizza rolls. No, no, no. I had like maybe a dozen. I mean, it was not it was not good. It was not great. No, that's a dozen sounds like easy peasy work.

Speaker: And then I also had um i had a mini Kit Kat. Okay. And then I also had a lot of salt and vinegar chips because I love salt and vinegar chips. Love that. But before bed?

Speaker: This was like pretty late at night. This was like 9 o'clock at night. Girl, how were your dreams? I just, I was a Tostito pizza roll. Yeah. In my dream dream. In my dream, I was on the toilet. Yeah.

Speaker: It was a premonition. i woke up, came true. Yeah. Yeah. I can't, I love salt and vinegar chips. I cannot eat them before bed because that's when my dreams are the most fucked up.

Speaker: I agree. If I have dairy before I go to sleep, I have crazy dreams. I had a dream about joint couple nights ago. Insane dream. I went, this has to stop. I can't be eating this dairy like this. Oh my God. What is milk making me do? my gosh. I wet the bed.

Speaker: did not wet the bed. I have waterproof. I shit the bed. i actually shit the bed okay from all that salt and vinegar. We're trying to be you know truthful here. Yeah. This is not fake news. yeah We're doing real news. So don't tell people i piss the bed when I shit the bed.

Speaker: You said 2 a.m. bag of chips, 6 a.m. poopy in my diaper. thats Poopy in my diapy. Yeah. My depends, actually.

Speaker: I'm not a child. I'm an adult wearing a diaper, so I wear adult diapers. Yeah. Thank you. God, I can't wait until I have to wear adult diapers because not going to be wearing pants, babe.

Speaker: Goodbye, pants. the diaper. Why would you wear pants when you have adult diapers?

Speaker: right, we'll see how that works out.

Speaker: You're to be the one changing them. I was going to say, I don't know if I'm going to be traveling from my nursing home to your nursing home. You don't think we're going to be cuffed together to one bed in one nursing home?

Speaker: You don't see this for the future? Not with you shitting yourself every day. going to be like, get this lady away from me. This lady, your your financial business partner and advisor?

Speaker: Even at 80, I'm still your financial advisor. Have you checked the Disney stuff? It went up. This is the fifth time Jimmy Kimmel has been pulled. Oh my God, by that point, he's like a robot basically doing, I am doing late night. Oh yeah, they replaced him.

Speaker: Yeah. yeah It's not bad. It's not good. Nothing's good out there. Except for some things are great. Like touching grass or talking to friends. That's still great. And we're getting some new art out of it.

Speaker: You know, most of which hopefully not artificial, but yeah you know, the tables are turning once again. I was chatting with my friends over HopHot, and the way they were talking about AI was so like, they were obviously scary and depressing.

Speaker: And I just offhandedly was like, you guys are acting like this thing is smarter than you. Like, you guys are acting like this stuff is smarter than you. And like, well, it is. And I'm like, it's not. just Yeah, it's faster. yeah it has access to everything. It's not smarter than you. Like, it just isn't. Because it's made from the stuff that you give it. Like, it has taken human knowledge and is using it. So like, it's not smarter than me. It's not emotionally more intelligent than me. So like, let's not like give it.

Speaker: This much praise. ah Kill it. Kill it. right Kill it all. That's the problem is that it it is and continues to become more powerful because it is compounding knowledge in in certain places where it's more than just one person's knowledge. It's you know the knowledge of you know an exponential amount of people. And look at what we're doing with all this exponential knowledge ourselves.

Speaker: Yeah. So like clearly, if that thing is as smart as us and is learning from us, then it's going to be as stupid as us as well. So like let's give it a little bit. Yeah. oh Whatever. let's just not like Let's all of us, like obviously, don't use it, don't enjoy it, or whatever. if I don't fucking give a fuck anymore. But I can't stop people from doing it. But.

Speaker: Don't tell me that it is smarter than you because I believe you're smarter than that thing. Like you, like the stuff I need from you, that machine's never going to give me. So yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. Whatever. I'll be a robot shoeshine in 10 years anyway. So who cares? Um, yeah. The, I'm curious where things will settle out if it ever truly will just because of such a push for it, but then also like a a new disdain for it from like younger and younger generations. so For me, it's going to be Google. It's just going to be Google.

Speaker: Mm-hmm. Like most people are going to use it that way. the people at the top are going to cause harm with it like they do with the internet. Like it's just one of those things. It's just another one of those things that how you use it, you know? Yeah. Do I think we're ever going to reach like Terminator status by the time I'm dead? Probably. But girl, I don't know. i I do, I do worry about it just because again, like everything seems so exponential and unless people actually police it,

Speaker: ah Way more than what's happening. Like, because I, I mean, I'm noticing obviously through the work that I do and the people I connect with. And it's like, okay, we're working on things to, again, continue to like feed and teach it things.

Speaker: And you know you've got these massive companies that are like losing control of their AI, and it's hacking things that they didn't even ask it to. i'm the The only thing that concerns me is access to weapons, right? like That's all that concerns to me. Yeah, sure, it could hack a bank, and we don't none of us have money anymore. OK, then we go back to a system where we trade beads. Like, OK. Yeah, it's going to cause death and starvation and horrible repercussions, but we could make it through, right?

Speaker: I won't be able to make it through a nuclear disaster necessarily, but that's just going to happen with like a crazy president. I think that it's good that we're worried.

Speaker: It's good because it means that we care. But it also is a situation where we need people that are going to stay calm and cool and collected and are going to go, this is most likely what's going to happen whenever. Like, I...

Speaker: I think it's, yeah, if i if i like if I concern myself to it and I think about it too much, like what is that going to do? going to die either way. Yeah, yeah. That's true.

Speaker: We're all going to die either way. So like I'm just going enjoy life and not think about it too much and like not use it. And hopefully people that are my friends are not using it to create art and shit. But you know I know people use it at work. I get and it. saves time. They ask me to use it at work often, and I have to be like,

Speaker: Like, they did ask me to use it for certain things to speed stuff up. And I went, I don't need this thing to speed that up stuff up. I'll do it faster. And guess what? I did. i worked faster. and Now I don't need that thing anymore.

Speaker: was like, I don't need this thing. Yeah, that's how I feel a lot of times. Like, I will work faster. I will learn. I will adapt. I am the Terminator.

Speaker: um All right, we're gonna take another break ah and we're gonna play a game of some sort. Maybe a new game, maybe an old game. I got some yes or no's. Oh, okay.

Speaker: the Hey kids, do you love D&D?

Speaker: No, I'm not talking about Dom and Dumber. I'm talking about Dungeons and Dragons. Oh, no, it's not that stupid magic card game. It's even better and it has Dungeons and Dragons.

Speaker: Pick a character, pick your personality traits, pick if you're hungry for war or if you're a healer and then Get to it. Make it your own story. It's Dungeons and Dragons. Oh my God, y'all. Okay, and use the coupon code DOMANDOMER. That's DOMANDOMER at checkout for 25% off. Where are you checking out, you say? Well, if you go to any store or website that sells any Dungeons and Dragons merchandise, that's where you can say it. Make sure you whisper it to them. Okay, enjoy. Fly now. Fly, bitch.

Speaker: we are so back and we're about to play our game it's called yes or no

Speaker: yeah and okay so I don't know what happened there. Yeah, I don't know. but Spirit overtook me. Jennifer, get down. down Get down. She's always up.

Speaker: Yeah, and she's always wet. Wet and up. When it's up. And it's wet. And it's so it is stuck. Did you see her tiny desk? Yes. Oh, so good. Oh, my God. Everyone's like, she's got amazing breath control. i'm like, when, where have you been? You can't rap like that on a record if you can't actually rap like that. Oh, my God. Yeah.

Speaker: It was mesmerizing. She perfect. And then when she got towards the end when she was like, my writer didn't have any food. I'm so hungry. I was laughing. i was like, who's fired? she she's like So genuine the whole time. And I love that you I was like, OK, so there's no one there. She's just performing to like no one, whatever. Then they cut to the like view from her point out into the crowd. There's like 150, 200 people in that tiny little space. And I went, that's the kind of concert I want to go to.

Speaker: hmm. I want to be in an office. Go to the Roxy, babe. OK, you want to go first? OK.

Speaker: We're starting off, yes or no, strong. We're starting off with the first one. Hey, hey, hey. Kissing friends hello or goodbye. Kissing friends who hello or goodbye. Well, yes. On lips.

Speaker: Lips. Kissing your friends hello or goodbye on lips. on the lips. No one's kissing on the lips. But that's what I'm asking. Yes or no? Yeah. No. I don't think I'm kissing anyone on the lips who's not my partner.

Speaker: But imagine that's a thing I start. How would you react to that? I'd be like, girl, stop it.

Speaker: And just like that, by the way. Because first of all, when I see family people kiss each other on the lips, that is like, oh my God, no, no, no. no no So I'm like, OK, I would think maybe a little less with friends. OK, it's maybe a little less weird.

Speaker: But no I mean, like kissing on the cheek, yeah, I'll i'll kiss everyone on the cheek. And and I'm saying we're not tonguing. We're not. It's just, you know, just a cute little. birdr ok That's I guess that's a no for you. You're like, I was actually just doing some research. and I have a list of questions. to you Well, I'm glad to know how you feel about that. And that's that then, I guess. Great.

Speaker: oh No, but I'm like, who did yeah I was watching a clip from the Kardashians And ah Scott, the father, kissed his son in on the lips And i about uproared I about went to the Like an adult son?

Speaker: or how old was he? mean, even if he's a kid if If he's six years old And you're his father and you kiss him on the lips They're not me. It's just like, I mean, look, some cultures, that's just how you you know. I know, girl. And that is what's crazy. my My grandparents on my father's side, they were French Canadian and Native American.

Speaker: They kissers. Had sex. Oh, Yeah. But i they were lip kissers. Like, I remember my grandmother wanting kiss everybody on the lips. I even, I feel like my grandfather even did that. And I, yeah, no.

Speaker: This know. Hey, I respect that. I respect that. It's not for everybody. yeah I get it. But hey, I'll kiss a dog in the lips, so there's that. OK, again, what you just said is you were so vehemently against me kissing you in the mouth. But you're like, if you're a dog that lets licks its own asshole, come on in, baby. You know how that feels after you've absolutely deaded my suggestion? You know how it feels after you do that to me?

Speaker: What that makes me feel? Oh my god. you sitting there Yeah, in that. Yeah. OK. I will. God damn. That's amazing. OK, mine. My first one. um Smoked or canned fish, like tin fish?

Speaker: Look at my cupboard. year It's stocked. It's a yes. Yes and e yes. I love the only no for me is how now in the last 10 years, recession indicator, these things are now more expensive than fresh fish, which is insane. The reason why tinned fish exists is because it's like a lesser option of a fish. And now it's more expensive. Like ah the fish are artisanal. Yes, it's artisanal. They have you weird little cans.

Speaker: Did I collect them for a while? Yes. Did I get a bunch of fisherman's wife cans because they looked cool and had little cartoons on them? Sure. The fish itself tasted ass. I get the Russian ones from the Russian store that cost $4 a tin, and you get a shit ton of them inside, and they're delicious. And that is a yes. okay yeah And yeah, it has been become a fad, probably another recession indicator, even though it is pricey and like there's bougier ones now. I'm just going for the Trader Joe's ones most of the time, like the smoked salmon. Delish. I tried the like smoked rainbow trout, which I love trout.

Speaker: Growing up, I didn't care for as much in canned form. I also got the lightly smoked mussels in a can. I cannot wait to try those. I haven't tried it yet. But I'm going to have that with some bread. o yu Yum, yum, yum. It's going to good. With some pepper.

Speaker: Yum. Yeah, they're great. OK. That's a yes for me, dog. Work. Love. OK, here we go. h Picking your nose in the car. um i mean, I've definitely done it. i i feel like I. That and also like sometimes I'll like nervous, like pull like hairs out of my beard and I'll like be doing this in the car as I'm driving, like zoned out. And I'm like, oh, and there'll be moments where I'm like, oh I'm sure maybe someone looked at me doing this, but.

Speaker: I know my favorite time is at night because you can't see through people's windows. Yeah. I could be doing anything in there. You're just snot gunning it. Full fist up nose, basically. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I tend to not do it in the car because I'm scared people are going to see. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker: Um, yeah, I mean, it's like a weird, one of those like weird natural things where you feel this odd safety in a car. even though a lot of times like people can see you or you're like, you're, you can be caught in the reflection of like a rear view mirror type of deal.

Speaker: You know, I'm like, whatever, if we can't have being comfortable in, in our car, What do we have in this world? What the fuck do we have anymore? know. I have a chin hair, right? Guess what? I'm over 30. I get chin hairs. So I have one chin hair that constantly grows in the same place. And it's like if I'm in the car, it's the only place I notice because I'm like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. And then it becomes a fixation for hours. So now I carry tweezers in my car.

Speaker: That's so smart. have tweezers in my car and I go, goodbye. I should do the same. Yeah. Well, no, because you're going to nervously pick your whole beard. Probably. don't Don't have the tweezers in your car for that. I should. I don't need a beard.

Speaker: You need a beard. You need a beard, girl. You need a beard, honey. beard, And you own me so you deny my application, so now you're going to have one that's on your face. Yes. Yeah.

Speaker: Okay. That's right. All right. Um...

Speaker: So this one, i'm you know, we might have talked about this already, but Anastasia. I thought you were saying like going under, you know, like anesthesia. I was like anesthesia. like not fuck I'm like, I guess good, but not for me all the time. Anastasia. And it's funny that you said that because um someone asked me if I would get fisted and I said probably under anesthesia. That's right. Under Anastasia.

Speaker: ah Under Anastasia. station If it was Anastasia from the you know royal house coming in, let her fist me. From the Disney movie. Absolutely. Wait, wait, wait, wait. There's going to be a Disney movie? Well, because of all the buyouts, Disney owns Anastasia now. So she's technically a Disney princess. Amazing.

Speaker: I love that. That's great. um Anastasia. Well, she's a yes for me. Growing up, it was like the only movie I got to see that was, um I think at that time,

Speaker: was not translated in the way that all the movies in Russia were translated, which is a guy in a basement talking through his nose was like this. Oh, okay. So this was like, I think I saw the actual movie and it had like Russian in it and it was so exciting because it felt like,

Speaker: They're talking about us, you know? It's like, cool. yeah um I did really love that movie. And I love Bartok and um what is it? In the Thrill of the Night. and and na na now who and and and and no do Obsessed. yeah um Rasputin never never was more crazy absolutely well you know the same thing loved loved loved no I was obsessed with that movie I was like give him a little bit of a you know um medication to mellow him out he's fine he looks like every guy in Williamsburg it's great I was gonna say Glendale but yeah perfect yeah I mean it gave every little Russian girl the idea that maybe they were the um

Speaker: a secret princess, which is wonderful thing to feel when you are growing up. To be like, oh, maybe. And then my parents are like, not you, honey. Our people had to come here. There was no mix-up. No, no, no, no. I'm like, maybe I was. Maybe. And they're like, no, babe, you're Jewish. This dirt is yours. Oh, thank you. Enjoy. Enjoy that. Apparently, like, my ancestor worked for the palace. Oh. Apparently, my ancestor worked for the king in the palace somehow. So that's where I got the idea that it might have been something that it might have been me. But then my parents are like, sweetie, no.

Speaker: Sweetie, she worked in the... We worked in the palace. We weren't the palace. um Yeah. What about you? Just keep the game Liza Minnelli. Like, at the palace. My mother was at the palace. My favorite part of that movie is when they're doing auditions and that lady coach she goes, Hello, Grandma. It's me, Anastasia. Drops the like the fur. that's all You want got to do that for Halloween. I should do it for this Halloween. That should be my outfit.

Speaker: I saw some TikTok about it I'm like, I should do that. I don't have a fur coat, though. so Yeah, if I had that kind of coat. need a little sailor outfit, a cigarette, a big blue bow, a blonde wig.

Speaker: I have fur coats, but they're not that like, it was like a maroon kind of brown. No, it was it was brown. it was like a brown. It was maroon. Oh, but like brown, brown. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. But yeah, love that movie. Me too. Good stuff. Good stuff. So you're a yes? I'm ah um a big yes. Hardcore yes? I want more for it. We could watch it again sometime. Oh, yeah, we should. I just watched it like a couple weeks ago. Great.

Speaker: Yeah. Okay. Good stuff. Okay. My last one. who I'm going to let you choose between the two of these. Oh, boy. Don't worry. this is not a You're not going to be in trouble.

Speaker: But you will be. I'm going to judge. Okay. Between matchmaking your friends or caw blocking but out of love? Let's do matchmaking friends. Okay.

Speaker: Yes or no. Matchmaking your friends. um I can support that, but I feel like I... I don't know. I don't want that on me. You know, like I don't mind having like being the catalyst of how people meet.

Speaker: But I wouldn't say I'm ever that type of person that's going be like, you'd love them. You know, like you you guys should date each other type of thing. I'd like let it naturally happen. I'm like also like a bad wingman, you know, when I'm like out at the club or whatever.

Speaker: I'm not really doing all of that kind of stuff. No, in fact, you're doing the opposite. You're throwing drinks and hands. The opposite, I'm probably cock blocking, but maybe not out of love. Out of love. Out of love. But not out of love. Out of spite and anger. Out of anger, of confusion. Yeah, what? No, get away from each other. I don't like this. Yeah, I need a ride home.

Speaker: And that ride is with one of you. so yeah break it up. The stranger or the friend. well I don't care. Either one of you. Either one. Please. Yeah. I hear you. Yeah, how about you? No, I'm big on matchmaking friends. You love that shit. Yeah. I think it's just like life is really hard. Meeting people is difficult. If you're my friend, there's a thing I see you in you and a quality that I like. And I'm assuming that you and this other person who I also like my might share something. And it's not anybody. I won't matchmake just anybody. But it's like, oh, you really use. I feel like you would really get along with this person. i would absolutely do that. Mm-hmm. Like, I'm not really worried about the like to me, I'm like, I'm not taking on anything like I if they don't like each other, they don't like each other. if They end up getting married. Awesome. Like, yeah. But I think that more people should be vouching for their friends and matchmaking friends because it's really hard out there. So

Speaker: um I was going to say, like, say names like have you successfully matched made people out here recently? I think I have. i just don't. I definitely have, but I just don't remember.

Speaker: I've definitely like had people meet together and and go on dates. Maybe not successfully. like Maybe they broke up after a while. But again, I don't take that on. I'm sorry. yeah But that's not I'm not like forcing you to be together. like If you don't like each other, you don't yeah yeah we yeah you're like i already got the the reference reference bonus or whatever they call it absolutely i got the hundred dollar sign on absolutely no i mean if my friend's like oh i think your friend is cute i'm always gonna be like let me help you get that going let me always okay cute and i like finding that is for you yeah not if and but

Speaker: caveat if i have done that for you right and you fucked me and i mean fucked me hard not in real life i mean emotionally fucked me over really hard and the experience was bad for the other party or whatever you are not being set up with any of my friends after it's like you get one shot do not miss your chance to blow yeah oh okay yeah yeah this opportunity comes once in a lifetime Yep.

Speaker: Yes. I feel strongly. I'm like, I will absolutely vouch for you. But if you were a piece, it's like, um you know, putting up your friend for a job, right? If they fuck the interview, i'm not going to put you up for any other job. It's embarrassing. It makes me look bad. I will not do it again. But if you continue, if you're like a lovely person, it just didn't work out because the other person just like wasn't into you or whatever. I'm down to set you up with someone else.

Speaker: Yeah. Work. Yeah. That is sweet. That's that's for you. Yeah. Good for me. And I appreciate it. um All right. I love that Hogwarts pen of yours. Nothing says trans rights like that.

Speaker: Well, I'm writing with it. and What I'm writing is pro-trans. Content. The content, yes. yeah I just keep writing, fuck J.K. Rowling, fuck J.K. Rowling. She'd hate that for this pen. I got this um in in Scotland where she wrote the books. so i yeah oh Oh, that's where Hoggy is?

Speaker: Yeah. The Hogwarts? Well, it's the cafe where she wrote the books. okay. okay where did they Where is that castle? It doesn't exist because Hogwarts is not real. So that's it. That's the response I have for that. I was like, they they definitely filmed somewhere. On a set where someone was built.

Speaker: And a lot of it was built in a computer. OK. Well, there you have it, everyone. I love you. i love you. that The train is real. I was going to fly all the way to Scotland to go look for that. The train is real.

Speaker: Okay. Yeah. karina Is that in Scotland? Yeah. You could take the train. Okay. Yeah. And the bridge that they go on, it's really pretty that you could go that. So some things do exist. Yes. Yes. Just not the school where they do magic. Yeah. But the train exists and like the platform obviously is in London and other stuff is around. Okay. Yeah. All right. Well, go check out Scotland for all of your...

Speaker: Harry, Hogwarts, Rowling's. i don't suggest you do that because I'm a good person and you you fall on that sword by yourself. I'm not telling people. No, go. It's gorgeous. It's beautiful. I wish I went on the I went on some kind of Hogwarts store. Oh, I went to the graveyard where she got all the names for all the professors.

Speaker: Oh, wow yeah. There's a graveyard where she got like Tom Riddle's name and all these other perfect McGonagall. She got all these from tombs. She just like took people's names and stuff. But it's a real ah in the middle of Edinburgh. It's like a graveyard where she walked around just picked up names. And that there's a big one that says Tom Riddle.

Speaker: That is wild. And he was a lawyer. And it's like people go there and take photos. It's crazy. I'm going to to look at all this stuff. It was cool. Yeah. Oh, millennials who love Harry Potter. We are never going to let it go. We're like do do yeah the generation before us with R. Kelly.

Speaker: No, people have let him go, except for my friend who will never let him go. Yeah, no, there's people. There's people out there. I know. And Michael Jackson. People won't ever let go Michael Jackson. Oh, Michael Jackson's big trend right now. Big trend. Oh, I, I don't know. The kids are listening to Michael. Well, of course the kids, of course the kids are listening.

Speaker: okay and thank you happy thanksgiving y'all i hope you have a wonderful beautiful thanksgiving thank your friends thank your family and with dasha you know kiss him on the lips yeah go up to kiss your uncle and fucking yes just mouth him cpr yeah just suck the little bits of turkey right out of his mouth yeah And guess what? You'll be closer. And you know who's going to be written into the will? You. So you're welcome. You're about to be a property owner. You know who's going to get a new BMW for Christmas? You. You. You want that car? Sucking your uncle off. You want a hot body? Yeah. You want a Bugatti? Bugatti. Kiss your uncle on the lips. Maserati? Work.

Speaker: you
