Okay, Carney came out and announced on April 28th that he's going to put $6 billion dollars in a nationwide effort to train, recruit, rate recruit train, and hire 80,000 to 100,000 red seal workers over the next five years.

Congratulations. um They are basically going to do that by offering $10,000 incentive to start your program. They're going to cover your expenses when you have to in class mandatory in-class training up to $400 a week.

I think they're just going to try, according to this, right off the Prime Minister's page, they're just going to try and incentivize people to finish, which is interesting because they, in this over here, they said that out of 100,000 um New apprentice for and registrations, only 34 finished their programs, leaving Canada with an annual shortfall of over 20,000 workers. So that's what doesn't make sense to me, is on this side, they we complain about severe dropout rates of 34,000 annually.
