Introduction and Episode Overview

Speaker
Hello, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the GSPN Daily West Ham broadcast. I'm joined by Tom Elkins today and obviously myself, Josh Keech. How are you doing, Tom? Really good, mate. Thank you. Good.

Impact of International Break on Premier League

00:00:21
Speaker
Good. It's a bit different today. I know you've got a lot planned up ahead, so I ah i have no idea what's coming later. But ah we hope you're all having a great international break. It's always a bit quiet without the Premier League. but ah But yeah, we're going to be doing a quick wrap up of how that's been so far. And then to Tom's in charge, and I'm going to be the ah the one today answering a few questions, I think.

West Ham Players in International Matches

00:00:38
Speaker
Yes, mate. It's going to be interesting.
00:00:40
Speaker
Brilliant. Well, I guess initially I know it's a bit of a weird one with international break. It's always a weird time, I think, for fans of Premier League clubs, but for us it's been a bit weird because there are quite a lot of players go for once. I think normally you expect maybe one or two go because obviously we've got a lot of different national dancers in the team. You expect to see a few people going abroad and obviously taking part. But yeah, quite a vast amount of players go away this ah this ah this break.

Alvarez's Injury Situation and Implications

00:01:04
Speaker
Yeah, we've had a lot of players go and I think that's indicative of where we are as ah a squad right now. We've got a lot of internationals in our squad. So yeah, positive. Had a lot of players representing West Ham on the global stage.
00:01:17
Speaker
Yeah, I think, I think best, best protocols to talk people that probably didn't go that maybe could have gone or also as well injuries or a bit of a question mark. I know, obviously, I think the big big question mark was if Alvarez was going to be going because of his injury recently and will he be fit enough to go and do that as well. So I was quite relieved to hear actually on the other side that he didn't go, just because of the fact I think it's good for his recovery and he's already been putting a job in for the minutes he has played. I'm actually quite glad that he

Max Kilman and His England Squad Potential

00:01:42
Speaker
has and now he can get the proper sort of rest he needs as well as to come back nice and sharp when the window ends. But yeah, and then one that I thought was a bit rogue, we didn't see Max Killman go. I thought with his start to the Premier League, we maybe could have been a bit rogue and seen him go away for a bit of the, you know, the fixtures for England. So I'm a bit shocked by that one. But yeah, I was surprised he didn't go either.
00:02:02
Speaker
Yeah, I think he will end up making his way into the England setup, I think, especially when you look at the the lack of centre-back quality that we have generally you know in this country right now. I think particularly when you look at left-footed centre-backs, there's not a lot. Maybe think about Jared Bruntway, who's at Everton, he's obviously a really good young player. but If you're looking at someone who's kind of raring and ready to go right now, he'd say that Max Killman is probably one of the best left-footed quarterbacks there's English, you know, in the world right now. So yeah, I think he will definitely make his way into

Recognition of West Ham Players

00:02:36
Speaker
the England squad. I think he just needs more time to demonstrate his ability in the Premier League in a West Ham team that's hopefully doing quite well. So I think he will get there.
00:02:45
Speaker
That's it. Yeah, I think, I think the one good thing we've seen, I know we've been seeing his praises anyway, after every match we've seen so far, the Premier League. But I think on the whole, we've seen quite a lot of the fact that a lot of pundits have been saying how good he's been. I think he's been a few of the people's, a few few of the pundits and commentators have been doing the team of the season so far, you know, the the start of the season, who's been the ones that have shocked them the most. And he's been quite a few that have cropped up. So um I'm quite glad to see that, for once, I think West Ham players are getting recognized outside of just our our fan base, which is always a good thing to see.
00:03:12
Speaker
but

International Duty and Scoring Benefits for Sucek

00:03:13
Speaker
um but But yeah, obviously now looking to people that have gone that were pretty, you know, the usual suspects, we see every season that go away. Obviously we saw obviously the the the Czech boys go away and and I know Sue Czech scored the other the night as well. So it's always good for him to come back with a few more goals under his bow eye. A great debate for us really because we have our big midfielder headache that we always discuss. So for me, I think that's the other bit more of a deal with him getting a few more minutes, but but I think good results for them all the way around so far as well.

Reset Period Post Man City Loss

00:03:38
Speaker
Yeah, definitely mate. I think International Break is really weird, isn't it? I think especially this early in the season, it does feel very much like a big reset in how you've started the season. So for us, it it comes at the perfect time to allow us to reset from the pretty disheartening game against Man City. It may be not so much disheartening performance, but the result I didn't think fairly reflected how we played. So the fact that we've had the chance to go away um
00:04:11
Speaker
have more time with some players who'd signed to be able to get embedded in the squad and then you've obviously got some players who are going away with their national teams. I think overall for West Ham it came at a perfect time with us losing to Man City the way that we did and the way that most teams probably will this year.

Injuries Affecting West Ham

00:04:29
Speaker
I think it's allowed us to negate any negative momentum and try and focus on regrouping and coming back stronger for this game against Fulham. The one The thing that is not very pleasant to hear is about the full-grill injury. I know there's been lots of discussion about how serious the injury is, how long it's going to be out for. What are your thoughts on that, mate? It's interesting, isn't it? Because I try and look to see where and how it's been injured. I only assume it's been in a warm-up or some kind of training because I can't see it actually happening or what's caused it in in an initial game. but
00:05:05
Speaker
it's It's a bit of a weird place to get it as well. It's obviously lower lower calf and Achilles tendon sort of area, which I think most people can get a bit scared that that can be a bit long lasting, or it can be one of those short quick fixes. And I think from the news we're getting initially this morning, it's looking more to be a quick you know not initially he's gonna be ready for he he's definitely not ready for following this weekend but i think that the expected timeline at best is about three weeks so i mean that puts us through all of october and then i know got another international break cropping up in the near future as well so hopefully i think that'll probably do alvarez has done and just keep him here for a little bit because
00:05:38
Speaker
a lesson learned.

Antonio and Sucek's Impactful Performances

00:05:40
Speaker
I think it's always a typical fashion with us with a striker curse as usual and now we've had another thing happening with an injury so it's just it's frustrating as usual more headaches to come as I think we've had all of the season so far to start with but yeah I think three weeks is a bit you know it's optimistic at least to look at. Yeah and it's not an injury that you feel like is going to seriously set us back in the league you know three weeks isn't that long of a time, really. I think we we have managed for so long without a striker, so I know that we can do it now. you know um Antonio can do a decent job when he is there. If if we can get him firing and we can get him supported in the right way, he can definitely perform really well. I say we're Bowen, who's obviously been contributing with goals this year and has done for you know so many years for West Ham in the past.
00:06:29
Speaker
What do we think about the scorers on international duty? So Antonio and Zuchek both netted for their country. How do we feel about that? Well, I think if we're looking at what's happened in current affairs as well with with obviously the lineups and now how the team has gone so far, I think that's probably the two players you wanted to probably see score, I think, for the international break. I mean, for Zuchek anyway, i you know, we argue about Rodriguez Alvarez and Zuchek, who goes where when you've got the likes of you know pakata play as well when you've got this massive problem to discuss but i think him scoring it pretty gives a bit more confidence to himself and the manager of that he pretty should be starting a bit more and obviously that means that someone's gonna have to leave the place i think at some point i know we'll discuss setups for women moving forward as well but for him that pretty just no
00:07:14
Speaker
gives him but a bit more of that. He knows what he needs to do and he's is proving it anyway. And with Phil Crick out and Antonio can score, I know there's one from a penalty and yeah know it's not the you know's like a super amazing out of play goal and things like that. But it's one that you know he can you can still score at least. So if you get the bottom net, that's what you want to see. And if he's going to be playing this weekend as well potentially, then you know what a good way to start with a goal in the week anyway. But then that's the next question of can he play two games when we know that previously we've seen what is ah but his hamstrings are like? Yeah, i it's just nice. I just love seeing West Ham players' names pop up on score sheets no matter where they're playing. It's just nice to see. You want you want the boys in the squad to be doing well and you want them to
00:07:58
Speaker
you know be performing well internationally. so So that's really good, really positive. I like the fact that Antonio scored because I feel like he he very much thrives on kind of the the vibe of the team in any given moment. like I feel like when when we're purring as a team, he can really kick on and he becomes kind of more of a not clinical, but he's, his game kind of physically and how direct he is can be leveled up with the momentum of the team. I feel like sometimes, and if a game gets a bit feisty or a bit scrappy, I feel like he enjoys that and he thrives there. So him scoring for his country, I think is only gonna kind of encourage that side out of him. and And that's a side that I think we already like is that side that you then kind of worry about his these hamstrings that are made of cheddar cheese. So,
00:08:50
Speaker
Yeah, I don't know. It's a tough one. i just I just hope we can get him scoring. I love the bloke. And I think if he scores some goals for us, that'd be really nice this season. And hopefully Fulcrum can kind of ease that burden off of him and then just allow him to thrive when he does play.

Commercial Break

00:09:04
Speaker
And then when it comes to Sucek scoring, seems to be kind of a given this season, apparently. you know he He seems to be bagging every game he plays, which he is amazing. And that's kind of the the student check that we've grown to love I think as West Ham fans over the years we've we've known that he is capable of coming up with goals and he's obviously done it this season and he's he may be in the in the past year or so has died off slightly when it comes to his his goal scoring numbers but it seems like this year he's back at his best and him at his best is is such a useful asset and and such a solid player and
00:09:37
Speaker
someone who regularly changes the game and his kind of approach to scoring goals, I feel like is slightly different to what most Premier League teams are ready to face. You know, his late box runs and his kind of knack for finding himself in a position to have a shot and his amazing pinwheel celebration. I think all the West Ham fans love it. If you haven't seen it, please go search it. It's amazing. He does it every time he scores.
00:10:04
Speaker
ah Yeah, it's it's just good. We love the bloke. So just just happy that West End players are scoring. ah so i think I think the biggest takeaways are we know that we've got the players that can score and and almost as well. It's good that we've got some players on a bit of a rest and recovery that haven't gone and can get even more settled than than how they've been so far. And I think more time with the managers what we need anyway. And that you're right, it's pretty come at the perfect time, to be honest, it's just that we've got at least one injury out there, which I know we'll talk about more in terms of the setup against follow them obviously later in the week. But ah but yeah, I think first, it's time for a quick word from one of our sponsors.

Quiz Introduction and Rules

00:11:04
Speaker
So as we know, it is a Wednesday. It's a wildcard Wednesday. And because there's not really been a lot of football to talk about for West Ham specifically, I am going to do a little football based West Ham quiz with you now. The quiz will involve player career paths. The thing that links all these players is the fact that they have played for West Ham at some point in their career.
00:11:32
Speaker
i'm going to read their career and i'd like you to tell me who the player is if that's okay okay well you know sound very excited but um not because this is always like ah i always think i know who players i can always think i know the progressions and i always get them so mixed up so um'm I'm absolutely dreading this it's gonna be ah proper confidence blows my ball knowledge that I think has been quite good recently. Okay. Well, it starts easy and it gets more difficult. So if you start really badly, we'll just sack it off and we'll do something else. How does that sound? okay I can, I can live with that. I can live with that. That's perfect. So number one, this man has played, started his career at West Ham, went to whole city on loan, yeah came back to West Ham.
00:12:21
Speaker
Yeah. Went to Ipswich on loan, came back to my stand and that's it. Oh God, no. my amaze the The first question is what I'm going to fumble on already. This is awful. Yeah. So he's had two loans, but other than that, he spent his whole career at West Ham. Two loans and he's come back to West Ham. Yeah. And do you want to know how long he spent at West Ham after the second loan? Yes, please.
00:12:50
Speaker
Does that not even give you the hint, and the fact that I'm even going to tell you that? well Spent 16 years at West Ham. Do you know who this player is? ah Of course I do. Okay. so my My brain is telling me it could be a Mark Noble. It is Mark Noble. Well done,

West Ham Player History Quiz

00:13:10
Speaker
mate. Well done. That is horrendous already. this is This is an exposure to a weaker part of my brain. No, it's okay. It's okay. We're getting your brain ready for what's to come. It's okay. I hope you're ready for my Wild Card Wednesdays. I'm excited for it, mate. Number two. This player started at Welling United.
00:13:38
Speaker
All right.
00:13:41
Speaker
How are you feeling so far? Okay. Confident. Nervous. It doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it is probably the wrong time to ask me these ones because I have absolutely not a clue of the start already, which I should, I hundred percent should know all of these. Okay. So you then went to made in head. Oh God.
00:14:02
Speaker
Why are you saying, Oh God, I have confidence in you mate. You can do this. Right. Playing a made in head. Yeah.
00:14:13
Speaker
And then... Marlowe. What?
00:14:24
Speaker
Oh God, I really don't know. I i i know, it's in my head and I now can't see anything. And then back to Maidenhead. Back to what? And then to Wolves. Oh, okay. And then to West Ham.
00:14:41
Speaker
yeah well do you know who this player is uh this this i've got two english players in my head yeah so i think since it's back to well since it's to west ham from and from wars i'm going to say max killman it is indeed max killman mate well done well done oh my god this is the my heart is going already see you're doing you're doing well you're doing very well ah I think you need to have more faith in yourself. Okay, the next player.
00:15:14
Speaker
Started at Villa Real. Oh, yeah, okay. Yeah, nice. I think I've got this one. Have you? Yeah. Go on, give it give it a guess. on i've I've got this one. This is this is got this is screaming of Pablo Fornals. It is me. Well done. Well done. Villa Real youth team.
00:15:33
Speaker
then Then to Castelion, then to Malaga, and then all the Malaga first teams, then back to Villarreal, Villarreal to Westam, Westam, where is he now? he's um Oh what' he it's um ah god, it's the green kit, I can't know what it is now. It is, do you know this. I know exactly where it is. I'm sorry, it could be not Real Madrid. No.
00:15:55
Speaker
It's a Real Betty's. That's it. It is, mate. It is indeed. You smashed that one. It's going to get a little bit more difficult now. Yeah. All right. Okay. And it's going to get more complicated. Okay. Well, this is, this is where my downfall happens then. So started off at Newcastle. Okay. Then went to Preston. Okay. Yeah, I've got this one home. Then back to Liverpool. Yeah.
00:16:22
Speaker
Oh, no. Sorry. I've completely messed up. Press into Newcastle and then from Newcastle to Liverpool. Yeah. And then Liverpool to West Ham on loan. Yeah. And then he signed to West Ham permanently the next season. Yeah. Then went back to Newcastle. Oh. Was that without the club? And signed for Reading.
00:16:48
Speaker
Reading to West Brom. Yeah. And then from West Brom, he was out without a club and then went from without a club back to Reading. Yeah. And then from Reading, he went to Amiens in France. Do you know who this is? ah I don't.
00:17:14
Speaker
See, I got really excited at Preston because that sounded like Aaron Creswell, but that doesn't sound like Creswell to me. So now I've got a bit of a headache because I can't remember off the top of my head who else there is. Who signed from Liverpool to West Ham? Would you like to know the year? That was a clue. Yeah, go on. That might help. 2012. Oh.
00:17:40
Speaker
this is This is deep in my brain and now I can't see it. is um I don't know. I don't know. 15 and a half million pounds. That's a lot back then. That's a lot of money. It is. man Oh God, this is a lot of money for a lot of man, some would say. Oh no. Oh, it's there and I can see it in my head. Oh no. i'm gonna um um so three Maybe you can see a ponytail.
00:18:10
Speaker
oh ah Oh yeah, that's it. Okay. That's a, this sounds like big man, Andy Carroll. It is indeed, mate. Well done. See, it was there. It was in there. I'm very impressed with that. I'm very impressed. Okay. So we've got, how many more have we got? We've got four more. Oh God. That's okay, mate.
00:18:38
Speaker
Okay. So
00:18:41
Speaker
This place started at Bolton. yeah Then went from Bolton to Newcastle. Went from Newcastle to West Ham. And then from West Ham, he was without a club. He then went to Leighton Orient. Then after Leighton Orient, he was without a club again. And then he went to Knox County.
00:19:11
Speaker
Knott's Cut is a massive sort of giveaway and I now can't see any like, i've got I've got like vaguely players' faces and names all scrambling around my head trying to work out who it is.
00:19:24
Speaker
So, it's a tough one, mate. I'm gonna concede and say I don't know. You you do have this. i know i know I know it's somewhere in there, but it's so it's so rogue now that i'm not I can't see it. you're gonna I'm gonna concede and lose this one. No, someone that we've actually met.
00:19:41
Speaker
Oh, oh, okay. ah Okay, it's Kevin Nolan then. It must be Kevin Nolan, mate. well but no ah Maybe slightly gave it to you. But yeah know Kevin Nolan. What a man. Yeah, he's back on the game. Really? I should have known. I retired at Knox County. I didn't know that actually. Neither did I. Although it makes sense since you've seen him locally up when we've been up here in Nottingham. sorry Okay, so yeah, it's going to get more difficult now, by the way. Sorry, this is this is where it's 100% down the drain. So, started his career at Chivas. What? Then went to Man United. Oh, no. Then went to Real Madrid. Okay. Then went back to Man United. Okay. Then went to Leverkusen. Then went to West Ham.
00:20:37
Speaker
Then went to Sevilla. Then went to LA Galaxy. And then went back to Chivas. Oh. Oh, I think I do know this one, I think. I think it is. It's Chicharita, isn't it? It is, mate. Well done. See, you were talking so poorly about yourself and you're doing really well. No, I know. I should bat myself a bit more, but I'm a bit annoyed about the Kevin Nolan one now. That is a bit rogue. I should have a little bit. Okay. Now it's getting tough. Okay. All right. Okay. It's getting really tough now. So we're back at Real Betis. Yeah.
00:21:15
Speaker
And then we are at C D. Uh, God, I don't know how to say this. A L C a L a. Oh, I'll call her. Yeah. And then, then to them back to betters. Hmm. Then to Tara. Okay. And back to betters. Then to West Ham.
00:21:46
Speaker
OK. Then to Liverpool. Oh. Then back to Betis. OK. Now, where's down to Liverpool? I go back in my head and the one player that keeps screaming screaming to me that and it should be and with the links to all the Spanish clubs. I'm going to say, as adrie is It is Adrian, mate. Well done. Do you know what my clue is going to be? Well, go on.
00:22:07
Speaker
it was going to be that iconic penalty. Oh, when he throws his gloves off. Yeah, just bangs it in. he wants um It's the charity match when he runs it from goal. It's the one I was prepared. He's always locked in as a real pro memory. Yeah, definitely. Okay, final one. This one is tough. So okay. I think you've got it in the tank. But yeah, it's a tough one. So started off at MC Mugelland. Yeah, Denmark.
00:22:36
Speaker
Okay. And went to West Ham. Yeah. Then went to Kansas City on loan. Yeah. And then went to Brentford. Oh, okay. And then back to West Ham. Yeah. And then he was without a club. Oh. And then he retired. Oh, who could this be?
00:23:06
Speaker
Would you like to know how long you spent at West Ham? Yeah, go on. Help me out. Ten years. Oh, God. It's all the bit beforehand, though, like and of of who the Denmark-West Ham thing went back to West Ham in Kansas in between. Yeah.
00:23:27
Speaker
The, the nations of the clubs that he has played for do not help we trying to work out who it is. So that was, yeah, I wrote. Yeah. Okay. He's not Danish and he's not American. I'm going to, I'm going to have to pass. I really can't think of it. Okay. I'm going to try and give you a hint. So he plays. So he's a center back. Okay.
00:23:58
Speaker
I'm trying to think of other hints that don't give it away. Hmm. He plays for the same country as Chris would. Oh, okay.
00:24:16
Speaker
Come on, you've got that. No, I can't. I can't say you've got it. You've got it. I can't see it. I can't. It's gone. yeah Do I concede it? Yeah, I'm gonna have to tell me on this one. If I was to say Winston.
00:24:27
Speaker
oh no oh he's there i can see it oh Winston Reed mate what a man that's embarrassing brilliant center back as well oh you yeah such a good servant for west out and what a guy that is a nationality it was a big giveaway then how it was mate trying to keep it trying to trying to be sensible my reaction now but i i actually so livid Well, that has been my career part segment. We're gonna go to an advert now and then when we get back, we will talk about more stuff West Ham and maybe look a little bit at the full-in game.

So, mate, I just want to say, well done on that quiz. You did really well. You did a lot better than I thought you'd do. You're only properly conceded one. I think the rest of them, they were in there. You just needed a little nudge. And I know Winston Reed was definitely in there as well. It's just not the the forefront of your mind right at that moment. I don't think I'm going to finish crying until next week now, or at least very annoyed about this. Well, you better start practicing for next week's one, mate, because it's going to be wonderful. It's your turn, or Jacob's next, your day. OK, OK. I'm going to get some credit. And then that said, no no one's going to be safe. All right.
00:26:10
Speaker
Well, yeah, I've got some crying to do. But but hopefully I'll have some celebrating to do this weekend if we hopefully I would. But this is one of those fixtures coming up against Fulham where it's one where I always get a bit worried because it looks on paper, it should be three points. yeah and And I think that everyone would look at it and probably say the same thing. But I always get those feelings when you you play against a team like Fulham where you can sometimes see the accidental slip ups happening. And maybe it being a slightly different result of what we expect. But Fingers crossed in that side. I do think that we've got a good chance of winning this one. as So we know we've been preaching about the fact that players have been resting and everyone's had some goals as well that have gone away or had some involvement towards some really good wins and some positive sort of time away with the national team. So I think we're in a good place actually from a team perspective to get three points this weekend. But we're going to have a few headaches, I think. so yeah Yeah, I agree. I always think Fulham is a ah strange one. Like you say, I think in recent times they've

They've never really set the world on fire, but they always do seem to have quality in certain areas. And I think the signing of Smith Row I think has really strengthened them and he's looked really good for them when he's played. Yeah, I agree. It's something that we just have to be wary of. We definitely have the ability to win this game. And I think we go into it thinking that we should win and that we will win. Yeah. And we have, I think generally a lot more quality and kind of I think particularly when we talk about the players that we have playing international football, we have I could probably make quite a good bet that we have more than Fulham do right now. So it is what is one that we should win and I think it it does well to kind of put the the Man City loss behind us if we can go and play really well because then, you know, a good performance against Palace and then losing to City like everyone are going to and then bouncing back and getting a win against Fulham after the international break I think sets us up really nicely for this kind of extended run of fixtures kind of up until Christmas time. so

So yeah, i'm I'm quietly confident, but also very wary that Fulham can punish you if you make mistakes.

Upcoming Match Against Fulham

I agree. I think we've got, we've got a few sort of, I guess, question marks of who's going to be playing where. and I know we'll probably talk about that later in the week, but I think that the good thing is, is we've got a lot of, you know, a lot of good confidence from all the players that have gone out and and have stayed and got that time with the manager as well. So I think Lopetegui's had that time to sort of help to nurture some of the newer players that have arrived towards the end of the window as well. So I'm thinking the likes of Carlos Salea, for example, probably will be able to get a good bit of time being able to obviously work alongside Lopetegui and get a more understanding of his role and what

the expectations i'm sure that we've had that conversation anyway but at least when we've got the conversation to be happening with the league and obviously games coming up and nice and quickly that's more of a more of a question mark won't it yeah definitely and and the stuff you say about Carlos Solera is really important i think especially now that business is done transfer windows over we know what our squad is it's now having the ability to work on that squad cohesion and build a unit that's really strong and able to go and beat sides away from home because, you know, pulling them away from home isn isn't an easy fixture for anyone. so So, yeah, I think that'll definitely help. And another thing I'd quickly like to talk about before we end is I'm happy that this rumoured
00:29:25
Speaker
ah It's John Egan, isn't it? Is it jogging it John Egan? It was John Egan, wasn't it? Yeah. The rumoured deal for us to sign John Egan hasn't gone through and we don't think it's going to now. I really like that personally because it allows us to use some of the youth players. So yeah generally quite happy that deal hasn't gone through. Let's give those minutes to one of the youth players who, you know, have been working hard in the youth team and are ready to go. I think it will be, was it Keelan Kelsey that it will be?
00:29:55
Speaker
Yeah, that's who it will be. Hopefully that takes that kind of fourth centre-back spot. It was the whole deal, wasn't it? It was under the premise of that game that we played behind closed doors this week. I was very under the idea that obviously I know we had a good game, but I'm equally as relieved. But I was very interested in the way that the deals come about because it's a bit of a shock to see it. And then obviously it's gone from being fairly confident to now suddenly not.
00:30:19
Speaker
We played well in in that game from from obviously the bits we can see and obviously understand from it. So I'm very surprised to see how that deals come about so quickly and now fizzled out equally as fast. But also, I do agree in terms of, I'd rather see a youth player get it. We've been preaching, obviously, before La Batega has been appointed that we want more youth game time. And I think in that regard, we haven't seen too much of

Youth Players and Squad Depth

that yet. I know that a lot of people get loaned out now, which equally, ah'd if they're not doing anything on the bench, I'd rather them go out and get some game time and then come back with that that experience and that that different sort of attitude as well. So for me, I think that was probably ah
00:30:55
Speaker
A shift in the right direction because we're not just sort of keeping keeping them a bit cold on the bench But yeah, i'm glad to see we're gonna pretty have a bit more of a shift now We have got that ultimate midfield crisis where we've got so many now I think that but we're pretty a bit more stacked than we have been in recent seasons Yeah, definitely. my I think it's The squad is in a good place and and i'm really happy with it and i'm i'm looking forward to you know, the fixtures coming up Thank you so much for listening to this episode of the Daily GSP and West
