Speaker: How's it going everybody? Welcome to another episode of the Primal Baseball Podcast. Hope you are having a good time in 2025 trying to get the podcast back up and running amidst a bunch of career changes and just new life things thrown at us.

Speaker: So, a little update, we are currently live on our website, primalbaseball .com, P -R -I -M -A -L -B -S -B -L dot com. We have launched our membership subscription service so go ahead and check that out. We have some discount codes live as well.

Speaker: so go ahead and head to the website and become a member if you would like if you have questions on what membership looks like you can utilize our website resources or you can just shoot us an email at primal baseball p r i m a l b s b l at gmail dot com would love to hear from you guys and would love to get some feedback on what you would like to see on the site and the membership site as well. So without further ado, I'll get to the content for today's podcast. I'm going to be speaking on just starting and not waiting. So a lot of times we wait for the perfect moment, whether

Speaker: It's talking to that girl, whether it's applying for the job that we think that we don't have experience for, whether it's doing the workout or the sprints or trying out for the team that we don't think we're ready for. A lot of the times, the voices and the thoughts in our head are just incorrect. We will never actually be ready. The timing will never be perfect. You have to just start and then adjust from there and make some pivots.

Speaker: Now, on the flip side, obviously going in without a plan can be detrimental, especially in business. When you go in without a plan, no strategy, everything can kind of fall apart. You can lose a lot of money. And same thing on the athlete side. If you go in without a strategy, without a plan, you can get beat pretty bad in the competition or the game that you are currently in.

Speaker: So I'm not saying not to plan, not to strategize. However, at some point enough is enough. There's enough strategy and enough planning that has gone into it, enough preparing that has gone into it. And you just need to start and see how things take shape and unfold after that. For instance, this primal baseball website, it is not 100 % complete the way we would like it to be. However, we feel the product is good and we want to get feedback and hear from the customers. So we know there's going to be pivots. We know there's going to be adjustments. We know that there's going to be changes throughout 2025. However, we know we need to get it out the door and ready for the

Speaker: players, parents, and anyone else who is gonna be interacting and utilizing our services, our site, and our products. So, you just need to start. Send the email. Ask for that number. Go to the workout class. Try out for the team. Nobody said that you have to make it the first time. You are probably gonna get rejected. You're probably gonna fail. You're probably gonna get cut from the team at some point.

Speaker: right But if you don't start, then there is no adjustments, there is no learning. The good thing is when you just start, you can learn as you go. You make a mistake, you fail, good, you learn from that, you adjust, and then you overcome and you're moving forward rather than just stationary and stagnant.

Speaker: That's all I have for today. You should check us out on LinkedIn. We are doing a book series called the Primal Playbook where we go over and dive into a book that we have read in our lives that has helped either our career or our I should rephrase that either our sports career or athletic career or our business career as I transition into my professional career along with the founders of primal baseball as we transition out of that athletic career and into the more professional business or coaching career whatever we have chosen there's going to be changes there's going to be learnings and there's going to be a ah lot of experience that can be passed down to our players and

Speaker: our followers. So please check that out on LinkedIn. If you're not on LinkedIn, that's fine. We have Instagram, Facebook, and all of those great social media sites. We don't have TikTok, unfortunately, but maybe maybe in the future we will have those. Anyways, check out our new content, our new site, and I look forward to seeing you guys succeed in 2025.
