The Amazing Rewatch: Hello, everyone. Welcome to the finale of season 19. Yeah, we were saying last episode, but we really enjoyed the season. We're at the finale. And we have some exciting things coming up.
The Amazing Rewatch: And... Yeah, I guess we can just jump right into it Yeah, I guess. um We were in Panama and we um said goodbye to Andy and Tommy, which everybody was a little bit surprised about. Our top three teams are Jeremy and Sandy, who depart at 12.04, Ernie Cindy at 12.05 in Amani Market, so it's 12.06. We remember last episode they all arrived at the same time yeah to the pit stop because of their cab drivers kind of helping each other out. but Yes. um
The Amazing Rewatch: ah worried about that. Amani and Marcus are excited about that. Yes. And all teams get to the airport and get on the same flight.
The Amazing Rewatch: So no flight. Yeah. um and Interesting things about flights on this, but they all land in Atlanta and are making their way out of the airport to find taxis. And it's all a little bit like chaotic right here at the moment. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: Jeremy asks a taxi driver, he says, do you have a full tank gas? Show me. Yeah. I think that's really smart. Yeah. I've heard somebody say that. Somebody asked if they have like a phone or GPS.
The Amazing Rewatch: And then Sandy tells, she says, don't tell the other drivers where we're going. Yeah. They've learned that the hard way. Yeah. Last leg. um Ernie and Cindy are the last one into a taxi.
The Amazing Rewatch: You must learn... do you have it written down? Yeah. After learning the intricacies of a flight simulator from a professional flight instructor, they must successfully land an aircraft from the altitude of 2,500 feet.
The Amazing Rewatch: so um Yeah, ah Jeremy and Sandy get there, Marcus and Imani, and then Ernie and Cindy last, but they aren't, like, super far apart. They're all doing this kind of at the same time. And so they have one team member that is, like, the pilot and one is the co-pilot. And it seems like they have to, like, write down specific instructions of, like, things to say to each other, like...
The Amazing Rewatch: Flap 20, proceed, you know, like certain phrases. And the co-pilot has to keep a steady speed of 135 knots. Yes. But Cindy, who is the co-pilot, was so worried about what Ernie was doing that she was going too slow on her end. Yeah, they're only going 100, and so they basically were falling out of the sky. The guy was you're so slow that you would be falling out of the sky. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: So i have to try it again. um Jeremy and Sandy actually get it on their first try, which is pretty impressive. Yeah. And they get the clue um that says teams must figure out that the dump is. It says find the former residence known as the dump.
The Amazing Rewatch: Marcus keeps messing up. It looks like he does the whole simulation, but when he lands, he has trouble landing to stay on flight path. It's like a really rough landing. then he kind of like keeps veering to the right, like off the path.
The Amazing Rewatch: Like over and over. Yeah. And you can tell that he's getting super frustrated. yeah Like, I mean, when you know that this is for a million dollars, it's so hard to not be like, just like, yeah yeah but that doesn't help anybody in this situation. And Amani is being very calm. Yeah, she is.
The Amazing Rewatch: And Ernie and Cindy seem to finish on their second try. And Jeremy and Sandy find this guy sitting in ah like a truck and ask him for directions and he tells them and it's a place across town by the old Home Depot. He's like, it's an old Home Depot in Buckhead.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. And I was like, oh, oh. Yeah. And it's funny because they show up in the store. The place is called The Dump. But it's like a furniture store. Yeah. So he didn't give them wrong information, but it just was not the right place that they needed to go.
The Amazing Rewatch: If we're beat by these people, it'll be like so bad. It would have been one thing if we were beat by Andy and Tommy, but if we're beat by them, it's like C students beating a plus students. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: I'm like, you really haven't been that much better than them. I know. I don't think like both those other teams have what you've won first one time.
The Amazing Rewatch: I think twice. And they act like they're just like the best team that has done yeah amazing race. Or Cindy does. Yeah, I was like, that's kind of rude. And Ernie kind of jokes. He's like, well, I'm kind of a C-plus student, yeah so...
The Amazing Rewatch: um Yeah, so and Cindy end up getting to this house first and they get the clue. It's a roadblock and it says, who gives a damn? Like the famous line Gone with the Wind. Yeah, famous line, Gone with the Wind. And Ernie says, I do.
The Amazing Rewatch: And that turns out to be the not the right choice because they have to – it's a roadblock. Oh, you said that already. They have to work with an old-fashioned typewriter. and type out their next clue.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's not about speed. But Cindy keeps going, oh, shoot. Oh, shoot. Oh, shoot. Like, she's just like so upset about I should have done this one. I should have done this one.
The Amazing Rewatch: And so Jeremy and Sandy are in this random furniture store. And they're like, go to a worker there. Do you know the form, the residents formerly known as a, as the dump? And he's like, this is still the dump. He's like, it's always been called that. They're like, okay. And they do start to kind of clue in. They're like, former residents, former residents.
The Amazing Rewatch: Like this, this is not a residence. This is not right. Yeah. And they're but they're still trying to be thorough and not miss anything there. But there's nothing there for them.
The Amazing Rewatch: Again, Marcus is still struggling with this flight simulator thing. Yeah. It's like getting to the point he's donet doing it a lot. He's done it six or seven times. And it's like a long process. You have to do a whole thing to get up the air Anyways, he's like apologizing to Imani. Like, I'm so sorry. And she's like, she says, don't be sorry. This is not easy for a reason. Otherwise, there'd be tons of pilots. Yeah. So she's always she's always looking on the bright side of things and being supportive.
The Amazing Rewatch: He's really frustrated, though. And he does. He, like, punches the roof of this thing because he's getting so frustrated. And you can see on Amani's face, like, yeah wow. And we kind of come back to that at the end. but yeah um So Ernie's messed up a few times on his typing. It has to start over, but it's nothing crazy. And he gets to the point where he can't figure out the one is missing.
The Amazing Rewatch: But he kind of uses his smarts. He looks at the little typefaces and the one that looks like the one, which is a lowercase L and uses it. And the clue says it gives them the numbers 44, 715 and 74.
The Amazing Rewatch: seven one five and seventy four So they must figure out that this is in honor of Hank Aaron, who was the number 44, his home run which broke wall Turner Field.
The Amazing Rewatch: in nineteen seventy four and it's like a memorial on the wall at turnerfield And so they um call this person again or a person again on the phone to kind of like get help, get um advice. But they can't really figure it out. So they stop at a hotel to try and use an internet somewhere.
The Amazing Rewatch: And at this point, Jeremy and Sandy get to the dump and Sandy does the roadblock. And Marcus is still struggling. Very disappointed in himself. He almost looks like he wants to cry. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's like after the third or fourth time, they probably were like, okay, this the million dollars is gone. Yeah. But they... Have proven time and again that you don't give up. Yeah. Like you never know. Something could happen. So they kept going, obviously. But yeah. yeah Hank Aaron and I have the same birthday.
The Amazing Rewatch: yeah Did you know that? I did know that, actually. It was like you remember those like Guinness World Record books that grandma used to buy or I don't know some like sports almanac books.
The Amazing Rewatch: book that she had and it said Hank Aaron and his birthday is February 5th. He's much older than me though. 1934 was when he was born.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yes. Is he still alive? He just died in 2021. So not that long ago. Five years ago.
The Amazing Rewatch: So, Sandy figures out the letters, the thing, but in the meantime, Ernie and Sandy get to the field and the route info says, okay, so they get to the field.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's like in the parking lot. There's this setup. It's three big maps that are kind of really high off the ground and really big And one team member must rig to the map and successfully map out the race from the world, ah around the world to get their final clue.
The Amazing Rewatch: So they're kind of they're on the carabiners and they're up and they have to like scale this big map and bunch of different countries have carabiner clips. Like little pegs. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: On them and they have There's a red rope. Thread it through. That they have to like string through correct locations. Yeah. Which is easy. Yeah. Yeah. This is too easy yeah for a final task. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: Like, because anybody can remember the eight countries that they went to. And, like, Europe off the ground and it is a big map, but it's not that difficult to maneuver. And...
The Amazing Rewatch: Or remember these in order. It's too easy. So Cindy does it. doesn't take her too long. She gets the clue. It says race to the Swan House for the final pit stop and for your chance to win the million dollars.
The Amazing Rewatch: So the Swan House apparently is like the most famous landmark in Atlanta or something like that. What is it? I don't know. What was it? It looked like it was probably plantation. Plantation, probably.
The Amazing Rewatch: So before we get to the very end, let's talk about Atlanta. Yeah. So it's the capital and largest city in Georgia and one of the most influential cities in the southea southeastern United States.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's known for its thriving business community, major airport, film industry, music scene, and diverse population. It has about half a million people in the city and 6.4 million people in the metropolitan area.
The Amazing Rewatch: And it's in north central Georgia. It's an ideal transportation hub because it's close to a lot of, it's just kind of like in the middle there in the south.
The Amazing Rewatch: The Atlanta airport is the busiest in the world. I think they said that in the episode actually. Yeah. Is it still? You keep going and I'm going to look it up. Um... It was founded in 1837 as the end point of a major railroad line.
The Amazing Rewatch: It was originally originally named Terminus because it marked the end of the railroad. And then it was renamed Marthasville and then Atlanta in 1847. Atlanta Atlanta was one of the most... oh Atlanta was one of the Confederacy's most important railroad and manufacturing centers.
The Amazing Rewatch: Um...
The Amazing Rewatch: Its official symbol is the Phoenix, which represents a city rising from the ashes after the Civil War.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's one of America's most diverse cities. 46% black or African American, 39% white, 6% Hispanic Latino, 5% Asian, and other multiracial the remaining percentage.
The Amazing Rewatch: multiracial is remaining percentage Has one of the largest LGBTQ plus populations in the South. and many Fortune 500 companies are headquartered there like Coca-Cola, Delta, Home Depot, UPS.
The Amazing Rewatch: That's, yeah, a big deal. And, yeah it says it's the world's busiest airport. Over 100 million passengers travel through the airport annually. 106.3 million.
The Amazing Rewatch: That's crazy. That's a lot of people. Mm-hmm.
The Amazing Rewatch: It's nicknamed the Hollywood of the South because many major movies and television shows have been filmed here. Like The Hunger Games, Avengers, Spider-Man. The Hunger Games was filmed, parts of it.
The Amazing Rewatch: It might be... President Swan's house or something that the the Swan of the swan oh mansion that where the pit stop is was a filming location for Hunger Games Catching Fire and Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2. You have to rewatch those and notice that. But it actually was not built until 1928. So it was not a plantation home. It was built after that.
The Amazing Rewatch: Interesting. So. Georgia has a generous film tax incentive to help make it one of the world's busiest production centers. And has MLB team, NFL, NBA, and MLS.
The Amazing Rewatch: The Braves, the Falcons, the Hawks, and the United FC. hosted they don't have an and Did you say NBA? They don't have an NBA team? Yeah, the Hawks. The Hawks.
The Amazing Rewatch: Atlanta Braves are baseball. Yes. The Falcons are NFL. Yes. The Hawks are NBA. And Atlanta United. Oh, soccer. Mm-hmm. Okay. But they don't have a hockey team.
The Amazing Rewatch: It doesn't say. Okay. The city hosted the 1996 Summer Olympics. And... I remember those Olympics very... Very specifically in my little seven-year-old mind. Yeah. I was obsessed with that gymnastics team.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. Who was on it? It was um Dominique Muccianu, Dominique Dawes, Shannon Miller, Carrie Strug. They were like, I think they were called like the Fab Five or the Fab, I don't know.
The Amazing Rewatch: just I was like i love Dominique Mucciano I think she is so cool and Pete's like our cousin Pete he's like you can send her an email this is like when email was just becoming a thing you can send her an email and it'll get to her in like 10 seconds and you can like tell her that you think that she's cool I'm like okay and so he got on grandma's like old computer I don't even know if she had the internet and I think he was because he put in like dominique mugiano at yahoo.com like it was not actually her real email address and he's like okay what do you want to say and then he sent it to her and i was like that is the coolest thing i've ever done
The Amazing Rewatch: Very new technology back then. Yes. Anyway. That's cute. That's a good memory. Atlanta has more than 70 streets named Peachtree, which confuses people. That That would confusing. More than one third of the city is covered by trees.
The Amazing Rewatch: So it's nicknamed the city in the forest. And the CDC headquarters are there. One of the most educated populations in the U.S. with over 62% of adults holding a bachelor's bachelor's degree or higher.
The Amazing Rewatch: Interesting. So, yeah, I've never been to Atlanta. Never been to Georgia. i drove through it in the middle of the night one time and it – we – me and Brittany when we were driving home from Virginia. Mm-hmm.
The Amazing Rewatch: And we were downtown. We just like kind of were like, let's just, you know, drive through just to say that we've seen it. We saw the Coke factory. i don't know. But there was like a lot of homeless people on the streets. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: It was kind of sad. So. We did not get out of the car. We didn't stay. It was like, it was literally like one o'clock in the morning. So we just kind of drove through and left. Yeah. Well, it seems like an interesting place to go. yeah So hopefully someday.
The Amazing Rewatch: um But yes, like we said, the team, Ernie and Cindy finished the final task and they get the clue that says go to the Swan House to race to the final pit stop.
The Amazing Rewatch: And... At this point, Marcus finally finished the flight simulator and they made it to the dump house.
The Amazing Rewatch: And i'm oni Marcus does the roadblock there. It was kind of the same situation where they were like, oh, Imani should have done this one. Yeah. And have we talked about Jeremy and Sandy at all? Like they they did find the house and Sandy did the roadblock. Yeah. We already said that. Okay.
The Amazing Rewatch: And she did yeah well. Yeah. And? So now like ah they're heading to the maps to do the final task and Ernie and Cindy are heading to the Swan House. Yes. And Imani Marcus are finishing up the typing thing.
The Amazing Rewatch: um So they're driving to the Swan House and like Ernie was like, I think you were supposed to take that turn. Well, they said, we're so glad that you have a GPS. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: To their taxi driver. It was like Garmin. Yeah. And he was like holding it in his hand. And he was supposed to turn and he didn't. And so it keeps like... It's like recalculating, recalculating. And like we hear that a few times. Like they keep missing the turn and there's a certain entrance that they have to go through. So it seems like they're like...
The Amazing Rewatch: In the area, but just not on the right street. And they keep recalculating. But meanwhile, Jeremy and Sandy's taxi, like, knows where they're going. Because they finished up the map thing. Yeah. Jeremy did it.
The Amazing Rewatch: They originally missed Indonesia. Yeah. But they could quickly it. But they quickly figured it out. Yeah. Because it was a very easy task. It was very quick to fix it. Yeah. So, it kind of is like, oh my gosh, are they going to catch up?
The Amazing Rewatch: and they run up and Phil says... He says, four continents, 10 countries, 20 cities, and more than 35,000 miles. Ernie and Cindy, you are the official winners of the amazing race.
The Amazing Rewatch: And that's a million dollars. And they're very, very happy, of course. um And Phil says, when we were taught when we talked to originally, you said that you wanted to use your money for good or something like that.
The Amazing Rewatch: And they said that they were going to use their money to start an organiz an organization to help multiply the million. Which they want to use the money. It's vague.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. They want to use the money to help people. Like global. Yeah. Learn. Yeah. Contribute to the global economy. Yeah. And I'm like, that's weird. Yeah. So i'm like, did they already come from money and they don't need the million dollars? I don't know.
The Amazing Rewatch: Or why? What? It's like, what does this mean? So like, did she want to win so bad? I know why she wanted to win so bad. I feel like she had to like prove something to her parents because it was kind of like a running theme that like they expected perfection from her.
The Amazing Rewatch: Ernie is a average white male and probably not deserving in her parents eyes of like being in a relationship. So Cindy says like that she hopes that.
The Amazing Rewatch: So that means Jeremy and Sandy are team number two. And then Imani and Marcus are team number three. And we don't really see them. We don't even see them finish the roadblock or do the final task. So I don't know how far behind they would have been.
The Amazing Rewatch: But Jeremy and Sandy did say they're like, this has like really, really improved our communication. It could take couples like a decade to continue. to have to learn how to communicate as well as we had to in 30 days. And that I feel like that's true. In the first couple of episodes, they did not communicate well, but they have gotten like consistently better at and talking and like getting along and working together. yeah Just in the last few episodes, really. And when it's like getting more intense and less teams. and yeah um Yeah. Yeah, they really improved from the beginning of the season to now because we talked about them a couple times fighting. And there was one time they were doing a task and ah Sandy said to her, Jeremy, you said to me last night that you wouldn't yell at me today and you're already yelling at me. Yeah. So it's like they obviously were talking about it. Yes. In between.
The Amazing Rewatch: yeah They probably had many, many, many, many many conversations in the 12 hour pit stops that we did not see. And it worked for them, I think. Yeah. So that's good to see because that doesn't usually happen. Usually it kind of keeps going downhill, but they seem to get better. Yeah. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: And I feel like Ernie and Cindy always like worked pretty well together. they We didn't really see them fight or get... that admit There was like one instance last episode that Ernie kind of got a little snappy, but nothing crazy. And Imani and Marcus have like never... So for three romantic couple teams, they are all pretty solid couples.
The Amazing Rewatch: And they were all enjoyable to watch. The general consensus I am learning of season 19 is that people thought it was really boring and they did not like Cindy.
The Amazing Rewatch: They thought that she was controlling and naggy and annoying. and I was like, oh, okay. This was all just on Reddit. But then there was like a lot of like Asian American people that chimed in and they're like, this is just normal. Like this is how Asian American children are.
The Amazing Rewatch: Like it's just like what it's it's how they are raised. It's how it's what ah is expected of them. So kind of interesting. Yeah. A little bit harsh.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: um oh and then when money amani and marcus come in phil says marcus promise me that you will never become a pilot yeah he's like what happened and amani says ah she's like i've never seen him punch anything before he doesn't usually have a temper like that yeah and she says there would not be any punching in my house Yeah, we have four kids that we're setting an example for. So if they ever think that they can do that, then they've got another thing coming. And I think Marcus kind of felt a little bit like embarrassed about
The Amazing Rewatch: Like his face kind of dropped like, my kids are watching me. yeah but Yeah, but they did say, you know, like we stuck with it the whole time and we came from behind a lot and we never quit and that we wanted to show our kids that and I think we accomplished that, which I think they did. For sure. They did come from behind a lot. A lot.
The Amazing Rewatch: And yeah it does go to show that you really just don't ever stop because you never know what's going to happen.
The Amazing Rewatch: So this episode in general does not have any like interesting facts or statistics. It aired the finale of the season aired December 11th, 2011.
The Amazing Rewatch: And
The Amazing Rewatch: let's see. I am actually really excited to talk about like some of the post race stuff, but I got to find the right place.
The Amazing Rewatch: Okay, so let's start with Amani and Marcus in third place.
The Amazing Rewatch: Scrolling, scrolling. Their race average was 4.42. They took first in leg five
The Amazing Rewatch: But then took seventh out of seven, the next leg, and were saved by non-elimination. Then they took first again leg nine. So they were they were kind of all over the place.
The Amazing Rewatch: But, yeah, a lot of times kind of like coming from the back, got really lucky. Their persistence paid off. Mm-hmm. um They declined to return for Amazing Race All-Stars due to Marcus's job commitment.
The Amazing Rewatch: That would have been nice to see them again. no um They are still married. And they both have an Instagram that they, well, Amani's is private.
The Amazing Rewatch: But Marcus still posts on his Instagram.
The Amazing Rewatch: And they look pretty much the same. You know, they've aged. It's been 15 years. But they have their four kids. Their oldest son plays for University of Michigan or Michigan State. And people that go to either of those colleges are probably mad at me that I mix them up because I think that they don't like to be mixed up yeah with each other. But it's one of those. yeah um And he is currently...
The Amazing Rewatch: The head of player engagement for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Okay, cool. He did 14 seasons in the NFL. Oh, that's a lot. Yeah, and made, i don't know, it there was one of the seasons that he he played with, he played with the Colts for the longest time, and there was like one season that he made eight touchdowns.
The Amazing Rewatch: And then like other seasons, that that was his highest. There's other seasons that he made like one, two, three, four, zero. yeah. He was a good player. Nice.
The Amazing Rewatch: um And they are. just they're still together. Plugging along. next is Jeremy and Sandy. And I want to know what you think happened to them.
The Amazing Rewatch: um I don't think that they stayed together after the race. They probably stayed together for a little while, but that they got married.
The Amazing Rewatch: You would be incorrect. They got married and they are still married. Wow. Yeah. Interesting. And so Jeremy, he talked about his son that he had a couple of times on the season.
The Amazing Rewatch: So they have Jeremy's oldest son and then two kids together. Hmm. And they live in California. And it looks like Sandy has like an aesthetics business.
The Amazing Rewatch: And they do a lot of traveling with their kids. Their race average was 3.58. They were very, you know, they did take second place in the first leg. And then they were kind of like middle of the road the rest of the season. And then they took their first place.
The Amazing Rewatch: in leg 11, where they won a trip to Turks and Caicos, and that was actually, they used it for their honeymoon. Oh, cool. now Nice. Well, good. I'm pleasantly surprised. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: So, yeah, let's see. Sandy gave birth to their daughter, Peyton, in 2013, and a son, Hudson, in 2017.
The Amazing Rewatch: Jeremy has since co-founded Alamo Equities, a real estate investment company.
The Amazing Rewatch: Great. Their kids are really cute.
The Amazing Rewatch: And then what do you think happened with Ernie and Cindy? I'm not a cynical person, but I just don't think they stayed together. Well, you would be wrong again. They got married and are also still married. And they have three kids, three boys, and they are really cute kids.
The Amazing Rewatch: That's like probably a the only time the top... Yeah. This is like the most successful romantic couples we've had in like... Yeah, ever.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. Nice. um Yeah. So... So you know how I said a couple of times, like, I can't i can't say this post-race thing without giving away something Something the all-stars?
The Amazing Rewatch: Huh? Something with all-stars? No. So, like, pretty much everybody that was on this season were at Ernie and Cindy's wedding. Oh.
The Amazing Rewatch: They got married March 2012, so that was, like, three months after this aired. Oh, that's quick. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they were already engaged. Oh, I didn't know they were engaged. And filming was in the summer. So, yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: But, yeah. Amani and Marcus, Jeremy and Sandy, Jennifer and Justin, Kaylani and Lisa, Lawrence and Zach, Liz Marie, Ron and Bill were month among the wedding guests. and they also used the trip to Fiji that they won as their honeymoon.
The Amazing Rewatch: Cool. good Good season for everyone. Their three children were born in 2014, 2016, and 2021. And they don't look like Ernie at all. They all have like more Asian features for sure.
The Amazing Rewatch: um They were the first team to use an express pass and ultimately go on to win the race. That's interesting. Yeah. Oh, and their race average was 2.83. So they did take first place in the first leg and then in leg eight and then leg 12, the last one. And then they were, their lowest place was five.
The Amazing Rewatch: So they were like kind of amongst the top half of the teams for sure. Um...
The Amazing Rewatch: I was just trying to see what they are currently doing. It seems like Cindy posts quite a bit on Instagram. And it sounds like she does has a job where she travels a lot.
The Amazing Rewatch: They have ah an Airbnb property. Cool. Where is it at?
The Amazing Rewatch: In Wisconsin.
The Amazing Rewatch: Looks kind of fun. um Well, yeah. Interesting. Yeah. So happy for all of them. Yeah. I was trying to think of how it could have been different if Andy and Tommy were in this finale. It's like there wasn't really a task that was very physical.
The Amazing Rewatch: Yeah. and the final task, like I said, is was really easy. Mm-hmm. So, I don't think like, oh, they would have definitely stood out or they would definitely would have just like breezed through this. Run away with it. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: When they all hopped in their taxis and they were all like close together, i was like, ah this is going to be like a taxi driver game. yeah But it wasn't. Yeah. It was...
The Amazing Rewatch: I wonder what would have happened if, like, Marcus and Imani, like, would did did they know what the dump was? did they Would they have figured out the hangar and stuff? Because they were were from Atlanta and yeah and maybe were familiar. So it would have it would have been more interesting to see m how close it would been. There is... of The finale, when it was not last season, or the but the season before with... um Who won? So that 17? Caesar and... Are Are you talking about the ones that we watched? Just the most recent. Oh.
The Amazing Rewatch: Like... Um... caesar and we talked to them yeah ricky ricky and caesar that i really liked that finale episode because it had a lot a lot of tasks that were like hard tasks and they were all kind of like in the city center not a lot of taxi driving but you had to go from one place to another it had it seemed like it just had more More to do and harder things and more memorization and more that had to do with like the historical part of the city. and Because I hate it when it's like this huge city and it's like do this, get in a taxi, spend a lot of time in a taxi, get there and do this really short. The outskirts of town. Yeah. do that Get there and do this really short easy thing. Get back in your taxi.
The Amazing Rewatch: Spend a long time in your taxi. Like they do that a lot. Yeah. On the final city. I like it when they It's either self-drive or on foot. Yeah.
The Amazing Rewatch: They don't usually do self-drive in the finale, though. That's why I just think there would be it would be such a good finale city to do Boston. You could do it on your foot. Yeah, there's so much to do there, and a lot to do in a small area. Let's see. Yeah. Anyway, so I thought the finalele the finale was kind of boring, actually.
The Amazing Rewatch: It was. It was a good season, but the final finale was kind of boring. Yeah. I'm looking up season 20 to see if I recognize teams, but I'm trying not to spoil it.
The Amazing Rewatch: Any standout that I probably would know? know? Okay. Rachel. Oh, yes. Brendan and Rachel. Yay, I'm excited.
The Amazing Rewatch: um she was just on Big Brother, like the newest season to Big Brother again. She's the TV all the time. But I think they voted her out the first episode. um Yeah, I've definitely seen this season.
The Amazing Rewatch: ah But I think... I don't think it's in a very exciting season because there's one team that wins like a lot of legs. And it becomes pretty predictable.
The Amazing Rewatch: Well, if you have Rachel, it's an exciting season. Yeah. She is... I have mixed feelings about her. It's kind of, it's like Boston Rob.
