Speaker: What do you choose to do? Do you flee? Do you take Sparrowhawk to safety? Do you stay and fight impossible odds? That one.

Speaker: ah Everyone always wanted to kill everything. Death and glory. Get the fuck out here. We get the fuck out of here. No death, no glory.

Speaker: Hello everyone and welcome to this week's episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop, Belem Draconis. We are a live play 5E 2024, D&D podcast set in the magical home-brewed world of Aerith in the kingdom of Dralak.

Speaker: Joining you for this week's episode, we've got Pewbie, who plays the rules-consulted human cleric, Emron. Rules, rules, rules, rules, rules. We've got Ian, who plays the tiefling, Warcorer, Nyx Carell. Pewbie!

Speaker: Will, who plays the dragonborn druid, Balvalkon. really seals in the flavor. Darren, he plays the half-orc barbarian Tharaxun Jari. We interrupt this pubie to tell you that Helen the Sleetguard is dead.

Speaker: The Granny granny Smith pie-smashing edgelord Callum who plays the Warforge Shartificer Alpha. Anybody want to try my crust? Oh, you sick mum. really wish everybody could see the faces of Disgusting Horror right now.

Speaker: I've called you apple pie smashing for a couple of episodes now, and it's taken you a while, like a month and a half to come up with that. But fairdo fair do, fair do. My name is Mark, and I'm playing the Human Blade singer Seth Faroovam. But last but not least is the Whimsy Weaver, the Warden of Wonders, the Warlord of the Wondrous.

Speaker: the whack-off wizard and wet dream wondrous item dungeon master danny oh yeah i i like the pause the pause really made that i wanted you to think that was it wondrous item is my new favorite tongue twister like that oh yeah that's that's how you start yeah that's how you start your next warm-up class that's That's how I warm up my... Nothing. I don't have a life. lifestyle and Speaking of not having a life, we see old Gell poring over a book in what seems to be an arcane library somewhere.

Speaker: Not in the areas that we would expect him to be in Sleetgaard or Dredak. He is looking... ah His brow is furrowed and his big bushy eyebrows are furrowed. And you can hear the slow circles being formed, um much like so a child would draw circles. But this is drawn with his large toes on the floor of the sand.

Speaker: As he paws over um a large arcane book, the orb glows once and he looks at us and begins. Oh, this pornographic novel's got no pictures.

Speaker: Ooh, Aerith Unraveling! There's palpable anxiety. The scale of war is becoming apparent. Redrook explains that Edna Fizzlebang's power and status stems from the orc control via the leashes, and the team that got sent there found sabotage enacted by the King of Leopold's...

Speaker: sleep god Well, actually, his forces. And those absent king's forces are very different to Sleekard's main force. And it turns out the dead soldiers that they don't found be swearing field to Princess I Am Older.

Speaker: The Demon Gate crew found that between here and Snake Run, there's lots and lots of clusters of hell gates opening. Turns out they want the Princess I Am Older. The gates seem to be following the Undyne champion's footsteps. Ghostwing suggests that there should be some sort of consolidation of forces in western Aerith.

Speaker: Baal scans the crowd for anything suspicious, but finds nothing. Orla seems to pass something to the Sparrowhawk, and then goes to Seth, and is all like, the next discussion is about the traitors in the wing. Watch, Orla's gonna be on you, boy. And Ghostwing states the Akriskra have a close eye on the Undying Champions.

Speaker: Why could that possibly be? All eyes are on the group, and the gnomes step in, and they stop it from escalating. The Undying Champions are put on the spot to do some explaining whilst they scrutinize, and they tell everybody of Prego's involvement.

Speaker: They tell everybody of the dragon's involvement, and ghost wings like y'all. I've got three new plans with three new teams. Number one you're going south beyond the border. Red Rook is going to head through a hell gate and analyze the enemy, and the gnomes going to join. Number two, I, Ghostwing, I'm going to head to the Steel Nightmare and devise some penetration tactics.

Speaker: Oh, shine me up, boy. Number two, Number three, Sparrowhawk and the Undyne champions are going to kidnap and interrogate Delmont Trace. Turns out Lord Vossan's disappeared a few days ago, and Haral East and West, the leaders there, have disappeared too.

Speaker: Hmm. Baal starts spitting the theory to the group that the dragons are the only thing keeping maybe the Gartrans or maybe the devils at bay. And then news comes in that Hawk Splitter has fallen.

Speaker: And then more news comes in that King Haddow has been captured and taken to the steel nightmare. And we see Ghostwing looking a little bit weaker. And finally, the Redbrook screams as the Sparrow Sark has to sit down.

Speaker: Helena Sleetguard has been murdered.

Speaker: It's been about four hours since you last took in fresh air. You now find yourself deep in the ancient stone chambers beneath the capital, in a forgotten section of the city's sewer that has now turned meeting point of the Winged Watch.

Speaker: Here, under flickering magical sconces and heavy air tinged with residues of spellcasting, you all convene.

Speaker: We'll flick back a few seconds from that cliffhanging moment before Princess Helena's sleet guard, her murder had been announced.

Speaker: You watch as waves of communication spells are being summoned across this room from the entire company of the Winged Watch. Some seeking more information to validate the claims that are coming in.

Speaker: Some checking in with loved ones. Some in sheer panic. Amongst all of this, Seth and Alpha, I need you to make wisdom saving throws.

Speaker: Do I see any um attempt magically? Everyone's casting shit. Everyone. Nothing harmful. You are scanning the room. There's nothing that's like someone's going to throw a fireball in. You recognize like dangerous magic that's not being cast. What you're seeing is like scrying and communication magic. yeah okay I'm seeing yeah disarray, not ah purposeful attacks.

Speaker: You'd be right to have your back up a little bit right now. That's fine. Just no guidance, guys. Seth, Alpha. Fair. Your results, please.

Speaker: Natural one. Thank you. uf done seventeen 17. Alpha, you're experiencing nothing. Seth, you know your mind is being read right now.

Speaker: Motherfuckers. Impossible to figure out where this is coming from. Noise gradually snowballs in this space. It becomes reminiscent of a commodity market or a so stock market in full swing in the middle of the day.

Speaker: The very air cackles with urgency and fear, and suddenly a pulse of silence breaks this panic. As the Red Rook's voice cuts through like a knife, amplified magically across the chamber, Princess Helen S. Leetgaard has been murdered.

Speaker: On that call... A series of events happen, determined by initiative order that the party rolled on earlier in the day. The outcome of that roll was quite low, so the party are later in responding.

Speaker: But the first of all parties to respond to this news, before a heartbeat passes, Drago the gnome bellows out. Absolutely not.

Speaker: And draws this glowing stone from his hip.

Speaker: And he begins to sort of contort and convulge slightly, but still holds his form strong and shouts across the chamber. No more cloak and dagger bullshit, Karstan.

Speaker: The three gnomes glow into this piercing blue light and slowly begin to alter forms till two male dragonborns and a half-elven woman are left standing there.

Speaker: The woman swiftly now begins casting a spell of her own as Drago shouts across the room to the party specifically and says, Stay alive, Emron. And the three disappear.

Speaker: In the same instant, dozens begin making for the exit, others relying on teleportation magic, but panic is bubbling. In the same instant, Sparrowhawk collapses in despair and falls into your knees, Seth, and you're kind of brought down with his weight.

Speaker: In the same instant, a series of swirling, dancing lights begin to surround Sparrowhawk and a voice from the across the room in very familiar accent to Alpha and to Emron.

Speaker: There, that's the prince. Death's a sleek god. Suddenly, everything begins to click. One by one, false agents of this organization are rushing to the now separated leaders of the Winged Watch.

Speaker: The Kal-Vashari. the deadly organisation from the Kingdom of Shadowment, the assassins of Uriand Cardenal have infiltrated the Winged Watch.

Speaker: And they have not come alone. With arcane gestures and guttural chants, they summon their bonded beasts, lions, sphinxes,

Speaker: Even the towering divine Andosphinxes each roar as they rip into the physical plane. The air becomes a jungle of claws and wings and glowing eyes.

Speaker: Twenty Kalvashari warriors charge, blades drawn, making directly for the three separated wing leaders of the Winged Watch. As you start to form this circle around Sparrowhawk, one final move is made before yours.

Speaker: Rangers of Blackmouth, protect your prince. As this ring of well-drilled bow and swordsmen step ahead of you and assume a defensive position. Bow drawn, arrow knocked.

Speaker: Kennard just turns his head onto his shoulder. Looks directly at you, Seth. Get him out of here, Ferreriva. And we're still looking at you, releases the arrow.

Speaker: No look, no scope. straight into the skull of a lion in a perfect shot. And in the midst of this carnage and your low initiative roll from this morning, the echo of Helena's name rings out, the scent of smoke and blood, the sound of deafening roars, the weight of fate shifting now in your direction.

Speaker: Let's start by rolling initiative before I ask you what you're doing. Holy fucking balls! What in the God? Wait. I was fucking sick, man. Not going to lie. I am. I'm hot and sweaty and not just because it's like 38 degrees.

Speaker: God. Give me a good one, please. Fuck you. Okay. Okay. Holy do shit. Holy shit. Okay. Okay.

Speaker: This is so good. I am... All right, listeners. There is going to be screenshot of the very scene that we've been presented with.

Speaker: And as always, it's going to be on our X page. So you head to there and you will see what we see and you will see that it is fucking and scary.

Speaker: So... Before i take your initiative, bro... taken the liberty of drawing up the situation we currently find ourselves in. You're looking at the map of the entire meeting chamber um with every combative individual listed because um I would not like to include 400 tokens on this screen because no one would be able to load it.

Speaker: Highlighted in yellow, and all of these tokens are allies. The party are highlit in orange. Everyone not backlit is and is ah ah a visible threat, if that makes sense.

Speaker: As it stands, this chamber that was sort of held in a...

Speaker: in the round oval amphitheater style arrangement with with the focus around this central table where the leaders were speaking from, everyone has kind of been dispersed in this chaos. To the northeast, you find the Red Rook who's being protected diligently by ah cluster of Winged Watch armed forces as well as Orla Goldport.

Speaker: To the northeast,

Speaker: So that was to the northeast. To the northwest, Ghostwing is protected in a similar fashion, with Karstan Vinbin Valhorn leading the defense. um Scattered around the the the northern regions are a couple of other members of the Winged Watch, notably Beauregard the Bolt Bluehill.

Speaker: You, however, have slowly been ushered towards the southeasterly corner, which was the same entranceway that you came in from. You were arranged in a defensive formation around Sparrowhawk with the Blackmouth rangers offering a ah wave, if you will, ahead of you as there are these three charging lions coming in directly towards you. ah surveying Surveying around the but the battlefield itself centrally is kind of filled with much of the Kalvashari agents.

Speaker: And then it's not a very high ceiling, we' only go about 40 foot to the ceiling here, but there are a number of these celestial lions Sphinx figures. picture Picture a golden Mufasa with wings, but about the size of a small dragon flying around the space. this space You'll have heard legends of the Ando Sphinx from Shadowmendian heraldry and Shadowmendian lore.

Speaker: But to see them, to see them manifested on this plane and in this time

Speaker: is And in this part of Ereth is is ah something unfathomable.

Speaker: As the lowest of the initiative order, you've had your commands and various people.

Speaker: I'll give you a chance as a group to respond in the moment. Emron, you look like you have something you wish to say. Yeah, so the the the person who shouted to like summon the Kalvashari, is that a particular person that that that was in charge, or was it just a generic person from the Kalvashari? Because you said we recognised the voice.

Speaker: ah You recognised the accent. Oh, recognize the accent, sorry. Very much of a Reigns-style dialect. Sorry, I thought you meant you meant we recognised the person itself. Sorry, that's fine. Okay.

Speaker: No, but in the in the chaos it could come from anywhere. Okay. This chamber is now just deafening with roars. Yeah.

Speaker: for clarity is the exit to the south no your exit is to the east of you by about 50 feet oh i was gonna say few oh is it is it the one highlighted in gold above the torch correct yeah i'm with you cool yeah because thought 120 feet it's like fucking hell we've got a fucking track okay but everyone else has moved so your your full party sebastian will go with the lowest um initiative role so just by vocally tell us um anyone roll above 20 Yeah, I did. Okay. that's my boy.

Speaker: and we all rolled ah we all rolled pretty high apart from in. And above 15? Yep. Yes. 19. Thank you, Alpha. Anyone above 19?

Speaker: Use your words. No, was... no i so ah Sorry, i was i was gesturing to the rest of you, so you knew I got 17, and then if anyone had higher, they could have said it. but I was the same as you. I got 17 as well, so that was why. yeah helpful Okay, Farrakh will have a higher dex.

Speaker: No. Seth? Can you not see it on your... You sure have to see it on your tracker as I can. I'm trying to do this for the listeners, Ben. No, that's fine. That's fine. I'll just... That's fine. I've a four. See what for you listeners out there? Yeah. Dan is always... Seth's dex is higher than Farrakh's.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, thank you So what was yours, please, Emron? I got 15.

Speaker: And Nyx, what did you get? 12. Perfect. how I'll just roll now for Sparrowhawk. It's not bad, though. Sparrowhawk will go directly after Tharok. Nice. spho will go directly after th nice Great.

Speaker: I love bringing up the rear. Did Tharok just faint or is he is he conscious, unconscious? Tharok is stood. He's absolutely fine. No, not Tharok, sorry. Sparrowhawk. He's just fallen in weak. Okay, he's weak. In despair, the news that, you know.

Speaker: That's fine. just didn't know whether he'd like collapsed you. No, he's conscious but emotionally unstable. Okay. So... Baal, the quickest to react and a very slow reaction from the party.

Speaker: Everything else in the environment sort of taking their first turn, if you will. What are you doing? How are you leading this group as the first voice? Oh, for fuck's sake. Because of what Baal has created,

Speaker: because of what baal has

Speaker: talked about recently with Ghostwing and because he's seen Ghostwing weakened a little bit as well. ah He is torn, as he almost always is in these fucking situations.

Speaker: ah So first thing he's going to do is thrust a hand up to the sky and summon his wildfire spirit up, because there are no, within range, there are no um kind of threats that he can explode this wildfire spirit onto to deal damage to them, I don't think, um from where he kind of sits.

Speaker: So yeah, about 20 feet up above him, he'll use bonus action to get the wildfire spirit kind of out, which will explode up there harmlessly to anyone and everyone around. um I want to, can I can i see?

Speaker: Can I see the other groups within the room? Can I see Ghostwing? i like i know that they've all got their own individual kind of guards, if you like. But of the leaders, I can see, but as a player, that it looks like we look like the most heavily guarded and most protected where we are.

Speaker: But can I see across the chaos anyone that looks like they're in the shit getting ganged up on? That kind of stuff is one after. you you can You can see both leaders, of the but the other two leaders at the Winged Watch look well defended as well.

Speaker: And then you're seeing various members of the Winged Watch in close combat. Okay. Okay. What Barl's going to do then is he is going to sprint in front of Sparrowhawk and kind of shield out in front of him after this wildfire spirit has burst into fire above.

Speaker: And what he's going to do is he's going to ignite his hand, breathe it in, his eyes are going to flash molten red, and from his wildfire spirit, second level Scorching Ray is going to blast into the nearest um the nearest line which i think is...

Speaker: Yeah, I think it's the one that's kind of in the center of the two, if you like. So the intention is to... yeah, you've got one at about 12 o'clock, one about 10.30, and one at 9 o'clock. So going for the one at 10.30? I think so.

Speaker: I think so. The one in the middle. um And he will try to blast two off into that. So 15 to hit? ah Hits. Awesome. Second one is 20 to hit, non-natural.

Speaker: Hits. Awesome. And the final one is another 15 to hit. That is also going to hit. Amazing. All three on the same one.

Speaker: It's nine points of fire damage on the first roll. Second roll is four points of fire damage, so 13 overall. And last one is ball's roll. Overall, it's 21 points of fire damage, but i get to add a D8 to it because of Wildfire Spirit.

Speaker: Sure. That is an extra two on top of whatever I just said then. And it goes down. That's exactly the hit hit points you needed to roll as you just cook this lion from a distance.

Speaker: Yeah. Three bolts from the wildfire spirit there. Biles in front of Sebastian. He's semi-speechless at this point. He's in kind of ah fight mode. He doesn't say anything.

Speaker: Thank you very much. Alpha.

Speaker: Alpha's going to step in front of the group to a certain extent, and you're going His original intention is to basically attack another one of these ah lion it kind of summons.

Speaker: and You're going to start seeing some sparks kind of fly from him. But almost like a malfunction... The ah piece of obsidian is going to kind of glow a little bit, and the sparks instead are just going to fly out to the sides, and you're going to start seeing duplicates of alpha just kind of emanate out.

Speaker: And mirror image is going to be cast. Cool. So I now have three duplicates of Alpha that are all kind of in front of this space behind the archers with Kennard, but in front of ah Sparrow, Hawk, and obviously the rest of the party.

Speaker: um I was going to kind of look a bit yeah shocked and distraught by this. Not distraught, a bit shocked and confused. I would just, like, been able to clone myself, obviously.

Speaker: i am Or move at the same kind of time. Nice. um Okay, I think it's best if people stay behind the many me's at this stage.

Speaker: And that's all i'm going to do.

Speaker: Thank you very much. I'm going to spend some time duplicating myself. Seth. If I can. Nithravel's going to look at what Alpha's just said and go, your soul means nothing. We do what we wish.

Speaker: And um he's going to, Seth's going to nod at that and he's going to, ah you know how low when you play Duck, Duck, Goose, no, you only go over the shoulders, you froggy over someone. yeah He's going to froggy over the front person of the Black Mouth of Rain. going to run directly away from where Alpha said to stay behind. and froggy over the black mouth ranger and end up in the space with one of these the lions to the south two of the folks to the north and land maybe with a backflip i don't know or some kind of flip of some description Safely on his feet, push down on his feet.

Speaker: I'm then going to cast third level shadow blade. e And the blade's going to form on his hand with the scimitar in his left. And then I'm going to um fuck it take the last couple of steps towards the lion, the lion to the south.

Speaker: And I'm going to smite it, I think would be the apt word to use here. I don't get my second attack because I've only got... the one used my bonus action already so i do get two hits with it the first one is going to be a 23 to hit uh does that hit it does second one is i will get there and second the second one's 19 the first one is 25 points of damage eight eight five and a four massive and the second one

Speaker: It's 18 points. So that's 30, 43 points of psychic damage in total. As he just goes to absolute fucking town on this thing, wub, wub, wub through the arms, up through the jugular for can, you know, as Nithrava is just there screaming in his ear, loving the bloodlust, um, as Seth's just in full swing and his mouth starts to move and mutter. And you see, you don't hear, but you see the movements of the dirge in his mouth.

Speaker: That's just flavor. He can't cast blade sun because it's a bonus action. I've already used it, but that's what he's doing. Yeah, that's his turn. And on that second strike, that lion falls limp.

Speaker: As you pull the blade out, you do notice a glowing white light with within the wound, not blood.

Speaker: it's Tharok's turn. Definitely pulled the blade out, right? Yeah, blaze back in your hand. But it wasn't blood coming out or like a ah bloody wound. It was just a white glow. Farrakh.

Speaker: um Farrakh, just to confirm, Danny, it's this area is it this area marked in orange where the door is? It should say exit on it.

Speaker: It does say exit. Yeah, that's what it says. Okay, cool. Right, it says exit. Cool. that...

Speaker: Farrakh is going to take in a deep breath. He's going to summon one of his primordial rages as he takes his deep breath. And he's just going to turn and go, we have to go now.

Speaker: And Farrakh is going to make his way over to the door and is just going to do what he can to open it. It's already open. oh far Other people have fled through it and in a sort of chaos.

Speaker: ah Yeah, he's going to get to the door then. He's going to turn and I'm just going to take two hand axes out and I'm just going to lob them at that assassin or who's to the north as I get to the doorway. shout um going um We have to go now and I'm just going to lob two hand axes at that thug who's down the far end of the room. It's 60 feet.

Speaker: then um ah Hold on. Yes, I am doing that. I'm just doing it at disadvantage. Do it. Do it.

Speaker: Slam the blade into its head.

Speaker: Well, the first one's a natural one. Okay. that doesnt one Stormy comes with one. ah you you You won't really lose that axe.

Speaker: You hit Sparrowhawk. Oops. ah The next one's are twelve. Yeah. ah which also misses.

Speaker: Farrah just then goes, as he gets to the door, looks back at the others as if to say, this is not a fight we're going to win. We were told to get him out of here.

Speaker: Let's follow orders. How does that look go? like It's more of a scream than a look, that you've just heard. Money eyebrows at work.

Speaker: It's Sparrowhawk's turn. And ah following the instruction, seeing the scene sort of just props himself up pulls up, pulls sort of on the arm of Seth, and i'm sorry, of Baal to kind of help himself up. And he is darting after you, Tharok.

Speaker: And i as he's leaving, he just turns, takes in the scene. And Seth, you hear in your mind, ah need you. And that's his turn.

Speaker: Dharok, he goes through the door as he dashes. Holy shit.

Speaker: Motherfucker didn't wait for us. and right No, he didn't. Oh shit, we need to get up there. I've got a quick question, Danny. In the new wording of um Attack of Opportunities, it says a creature, it doesn't say an enemy, that leaves your range.

Speaker: Yep. What's your ruling on if it's an allied creature that leaves your range? You have to take the attack action. Well, ah okay, so but I've got Warcaster as a feat. Oh, so have to go a cantrip.

Speaker: Sorry, or a spell. yeah um i can i use a Can I use a spell? Yeah, baby, kill him. It would take your reaction to do this. That's fine. yeah Absolutely, it's a second level spell as well.

Speaker: I thought it had to be a cantrip for Warcaster. No, it's spell that targets that creature. Sorry, fair Ball's an assassin. He works for Shadow Men. I'm fucking doing it. I'm going to fucking do it, guys. It's happening again. It's happening again. Eat shit, everyone.

Speaker: ah No, he's just going to... Farr's going to trickle down and he's going to put a hand out and he's going push Sparrowhawk forward and he's going to cast Aid to give him five an increased five ah hit points maximum.

Speaker: Okay. Thank you very much. So they're buffing him on the way out. then Emron, it is your not giving him AIDS. Just checking. That we know of. flipping out Yeah. um Fucking hell. Right, next.

Speaker: Who knows what Barl's got? I've been checked. I'm fine.

Speaker: By who? Barl? um Barl told you we're fine. Emron's going to um have seen this all unfolding, heard Drago's words saying, stay alive.

Speaker: um And then obviously with with Seth charging... um forward he was like oh hang on a minute we need to ah push out a bit maybe sebastian's not gonna be able to be mobile but he is he's sebastian's run out the door like he's fucking you know got something left the harvard or something um so everyone's gonna sort of turn to barl uh nix and alpha who are the closest to um to him and sort of say let's fall back

Speaker: i'll stick it I'll stick ahead of you. Make sure Seth keep keeps up with us. But you three, keep falling back and hit anyone that gets close at range. That's what I'm going to say in my six seconds. um So I'm going to take a few steps forward just so I'm not too far away from from Seth.

Speaker: I'm then going to cast a spiritual weapon at second level. And a spiritual weapon will appear ah by the Thug to the North.

Speaker: I'm to make a little thing for it.

Speaker: There we go. And I will then attack with it. If that's okay, Danny. Go for it. As part of its casting, it gets to attack. ah That's a 17 to hit. That hits. Go roll damage.

Speaker: It takes nine points of bludgeoning damage. Thank you. Um, and then,

Speaker: yep, that's, uh, that's the end of my turn. I'm going to ready an action so that if, if any of the thugs sort of come to engage me, um, I will attack it if you follow me.

Speaker: Yep. Thank you. Thank you. Uh, Nyx.

Speaker: Yeah, this didn't go how I thought it would go.

Speaker: However, there's been a strong voice of command, a guy, Ron Past, who we've been charged with looking after.

Speaker: If anything else, Nix is very dutiful in a situation that helps save himself, so he is going to... You yeet out after Sebastian.

Speaker: How far does Sebastian get? What's his movement speed? So he dashes. He's just at the other side of the door at the moment. Yeah. ah Fucking loose ass prick. look Come on. um ah I dashed.

Speaker: Dashed, motherfucker. All right. I'm going to go to where Tharok is and... How far in front is is Sebastian as I peer through the exit? He's about 15 feet further than Tharok. So he's just just in that that entry hall, that chamber. it a light ah entry hall? Is it dark? Can I see past Sebastian's shoulder? What's he running into? Is he running Claire? You guys came in when you entered the meeting. So you know it's about 60 feet of sort of rectangular sewer tunnels.

Speaker: ah He's motherfucker. I got, I'm going to dash. um ah So I've got 60 feet all in all. um And I want to I want to, if I can get in front of him, I will just to stop his fucking pace and let him kind of fall in line.

Speaker: That's my plan. And I'll turn to him just go, yeah, yeah, yeah. right. All right. We hear you. Let the others catch up. Follow my lead. And yeah, that's me. Nice. Thank you very much.

Speaker: Top of the round. Oh no, that's just you guys. There's a whole chamber to deal with now. So a couple of things happened.

Speaker: ah

Speaker: So to the northeast in the the sort of cluster of um activity around the Red Rook, a series of lions sort of charge and are battered away by ah the the wing watch defenders.

Speaker: And then this Andosphinx kind of stands on the corpses of those newly felled lions and just lets out this terrifying roar in that direction.

Speaker: And you watch as the orla, alller The Red Rook and the guard kind of flee by about 30 feet in terror back from it.

Speaker: Something similar looks like it's going to happen to Ghostwing and his entourage in the northwest.

Speaker: But Karstan is able to just throw up a very swift dome of silence as you watch us just... just Imagine being at like a concert in a set hall and then one stack of speakers just stops working. It's kind of like that. You've just lost some of the directional sound for a moment as everyone is able to sort of stand resolute, but they are pushed up against the forces that are attacking them.

Speaker: Beauregard, the Bolt Blue Hill is able to quite swiftly down one or two of the folks within within a series of attacks as well. Closer to you, however,

Speaker: You watch as the Blackmouth Rangers just step out into the middle of the battlefield, blades drawn,

Speaker: bows drawn, and unleash a series of different volleys in different directions and are able to bring down two ah the kbashari sort of agents in the center the battlefield. And Kenna just turns to you, Seth,

Speaker: and just gives you a very firm series of nods before notching another arrow.

Speaker: And then it is the... It is the Kalvashari's turn.

Speaker: Baal.

Speaker: When you downed

Speaker: the lion, it sizzled and erupted in flame for a few moments. And then it started glowing white and Seth, as you're just sort of standing over the corpse of the lion you felt, and you're seeing in these white lights, it starts growing also.

Speaker: And it begins to grow wings and it begins to turn a similar hue to these ando sphinxes around you.

Speaker: As it seems to be rising, reincarnating almost, it's not yet in life, but it is growing nonetheless.

Speaker: Otherwise, those who are engaged remain engaged. The party at the moment, as just sort of doing a quick scan around the battlefield, are not in range of anything.

Speaker: It's back to your turns. How are you responding to this? And I'll start with Baal. I going to say, what about the thug that's engaged my hammer? Sorry. Oh, he will attempt to to flee if you want to do an opportunity attack. I will use i will burn my reaction to... Oh, do I get to know how far he gets before I can say burn my reaction? He's going cut the distance to you so he's about 20 feet away from you. And actually, you are in his range, so he's going to take a shot at you with a crossbow unless you do anything. I'll burn my reaction for my held action to have my ah warhammer use my attack opportunity using the magical knuckle dusters that let me do that. Go for it.

Speaker: So the warhammer will hit him.

Speaker: ah For a 10? Misses. Yeah, fair.

Speaker: Does a 16 hit your armor class? No. that's the This crossbow bolt just flies over the top of you.

Speaker: It is your turns. It is your turns. Nix, you're out of initiative to order because you're out of the space. So yeah, what I really like about you, Sebastian, is the fact that you have this honor and animosity about you. but Bal, what are you going to after what you're going think?

Speaker: Okay, Bal is, yeah, he's he's coming a bit more to his senses now. He shakes his head a little bit, especially because obviously he he would have seen the shit that's been going on with regards to Karstan, what he's been doing. He'll realize even weakened Ghostwing is be able to handle himself.

Speaker: And also the fact that the person he stood in front of with the shield out has fucked off. ah So alongside Nyx, what he will do is he'll spend his movement, his full movement,

Speaker: um running himself towards the door. ah And let me just see. do do do He'll make a slight detour to the north because fuck that guy.

Speaker: And he's going to, as he makes a slight detour to the north, he is going to ah withdraw a hand out to his side and it is going to just... glow red and a whip is going to drop to the floor he's going to make a a flame whip attack to thuggy boy that's just tried to have a crack at um ah emron uh and it won't hit with a 12 i'm assuming that's gonna miss i'm afraid oh Thought it would.

Speaker: No worries. Yeah, he's going to use his, because that's his action gone, he's going to use his 30 feet to be running towards the door. And like likewise, he'll turn over his shoulder to both Emron and Alpha, and also Seth, who's obviously getting stuck in, and just shout, time to go!

Speaker: and he'll use his bonus action to command the wildfire spirit to follow him, but also let off a little bit of a flaming spit. at that bastard that he missed before.

Speaker: A bit flame seed. Let's see if that one actually hits. It's a natural 20. Let's go.

Speaker: ah yeah.

Speaker: ah But roll balls on the damage dice for the natural 20. It was a two. Do I roll twice or do I do i does it just double? i don't I don't know how you usually... Double the dice roll. Double the dice roll. Awesome.

Speaker: That's turds. ah That's seven overall. Seven points of fire damage to the thug. Thank you very much. as As the flame for the spirit follows me towards the door.

Speaker: End your turn.

Speaker: Thank you. Alpha. yes yeah

Speaker: Alpha at the moment is still going to stay put. He's going to call out to Seth. Seth, we must leave. We can't abandon Sparrowhawk.

Speaker: um And just while that little conversation is going off, there's a thug to the north ah that two blackmouth rangers are in nearby combat with. I'm just going to chuck a quick firebolt up to them ah as I'm ah shouting that out to Seth.

Speaker: Okay, go for it.

Speaker: That is a 13 to hit. That hits. Ooh, that was unexpected then. Um... 15 points of fire damage. Nice. Just flinging you straight up.

Speaker: Yeah, that's everything the thing I'm going to do. Perfect. Seth, it is your turn.

Speaker: Send them back across the water! Screams Nithravar in Seth's ear as he um jumps up alongside Kennard and with both now Scimitar and his um blade out, he's going to take a swing first at and not kind of i at the thug that he's currently in ah in combat with.

Speaker: you ah number one That one is going to be a non-natural 20 to hit the thug. hits and that's going to be 10 points of uh psychic damage on that attack and then thank you em if you're still up it'll be a natural this one had been partially struck already by kenard so you've taken him down with that one Okay.

Speaker: I'm going to assume he would have swung anyway because i've I'd already rolled it. was a natural one. I don't want to fudge it. He would have like, as the guy was falling, swung again and just fully missed. The momentum Yeah, absolutely. And fully missed him. and He's going turn into the space and turn to Kennard.

Speaker: And with a knowing look in his eye, he's going to try and grab his arm and he's going to use the rest of his movements I'm not, I'm not literally pulling him back. I'm just, I'm kind of encouraging him to come back with me.

Speaker: ah The remainder of my 30, 20 feet of movement ah back towards the line of Alphas and Emrom, whether not Kenard comes or not, I'm just going to kind of grab him and give him like a, a, a yank to kind of say, come on, but I can't physically force him. The the mechanics won't let me, but yeah, that's, that's my aim. That's my flavor.

Speaker: Thank you. Farrok, are you exiting also, pursuing Sparrowhawk and Nyx? Yes. Farrok looks back and shouts again, get out of here! And is going to just turn and head down the tunnel following... Perfect.

Speaker: Thank you so much....Farrowhawk and Nyx. ah That takes us to Emron.

Speaker: Whereabouts is the ah lion turning into the Andosphinx on the map? Ha! So I was going to say the token, but I'll put it back out.

Speaker: Sorry. That's okay. ah So it was in the...

Speaker: It was in the same spot as the original lion that was killed by the Scorch Ray. So it's sort of in the middle of the Alphas and where just north of where Seth is currently. Okay.

Speaker: um Cool. So Emron's going to sort of move ah past the alphas

Speaker: and sort of, as he as he passes, say, keep falling back, hit him at range. um And ah kind of use my action to use my maul kill the resurrecting lion.

Speaker: like You can take a strike at it, yeah. I mean, it's prone, so, you know, you're going roll at Thanks. Thanks. It's a corpse. It has one AC. so um i mean i'm I'm trying to stop it from doing whatever is happening to it. Just going to hit it. hit it Yeah. That's 19? Yeah. will hit. it yeah ah nineteen yeah It

Speaker: it takes twelve points of um what damage this thing can do

Speaker: Hurty damage. It's... um

Speaker: Come on, well, you don't know your own weapon. What sorts of... It does lots of shit. Hang on. It does lots of shit. you have all this time and you can't look at the damage your weapon does. It's because you never hit with it, that's why.

Speaker: So it does 12 points of bludgeoning damage. Mm-hmm. um I assume that kills or squishes whatever it is. Yeah, yeah you squish all sorts of bits. something And then and it moves. I mean, because because of my feet, I dealt bludgeoning damage.

Speaker: So in theory, the the corpse is pushed um ten feet, ah five feet um further away from me. Okay.

Speaker: Cool. Anything else you with the turn? And then my bonus action, my hammer is going to move after the ah little bitch of a thug that was trying to shoot a crossbow at me, and it's going to hit it hit him.

Speaker: So I can attack.

Speaker: For a 24, that hits.

Speaker: And the little the little thug takes 8 points of force damage.

Speaker: Thank you very much. And that is the end of my go.

Speaker: That leads us straight to... Well, Nick's has left, so we are back to the environment. So a couple of things... If you permit me, I would like to have my go while I've got Sparrowhawk in my sights.

Speaker: Going to shoot him up. ah Cool. Because I assume where I was, I managed to stop and I issued myself in front of him. Real simple. I'm just going to turn around to him as this orb of purple light, spherical, bounces from one hand.

Speaker: to the other, almost like a joular and a juggling act as he pushes this ah orb into the shoulder of Sparrowhawk. And just before he snaps his finger to cast the spell, he's going to just say, look, try not to kill you a second time.

Speaker: Snaps his fingers and casts Invisibility and Sparrowhawk will disappear. ah Legend. Brilliant. Now we can't see it. Fuck. Oh, God. In my head, I was going, follow my coolness.

Speaker: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. ah buta achare And do you continue to keep pace with him? that You can still hear him running down that chamber. Yeah, if he if he's running, I'm running. um Because it's like, I know that he can It's sewer, so there's water everywhere. So like there's little splashes.

Speaker: Yeah, that's fine. I also know he knows how to talk in the mines as does Nick. So ah he's pretty, he's okay. He's okay with what's happening. That's it. um I've just got an invisible backpack for tens of purposes.

Speaker: Let's go. It's getting harder for you to see what's happening now in the northern parts of this map, just because smoke is rising, blood is squirting everywhere, and there's just bodies piling.

Speaker: You hear another deafening roar from Andosphinx to the northeast. Another deafening roar.

Speaker: Fall silent again from the northwest.

Speaker: Closer to where you are.

Speaker: Where

Speaker: Karstan's sort of concentrated sphere is, another shape begins to take form there ever so slowly.

Speaker: And now the lights are beginning to go out one by one in the chamber as you're plunged, not where you are in the south in darkness, but certainly to the north, a lot of those lights are beginning to disappear.

Speaker: But just before they do, you swear you spy ah much bigger form, not of lion,

Speaker: but a dragon.

Speaker: coming of those already in the chamber just slowly growing in form.

Speaker: Closer to you.

Speaker: blackouth ranges but continue The their defensive line, pushing back against these forces. Kennard, sort of brushed in the shoulder from where Seth knocked him and tried to usher him back, turns

Speaker: And in his free hand, he's got this blade drawn in one, this sort of very beautiful black, black...

Speaker: steel forged blade in one hand but in this other hand she has this green light and just thrusts it into your chest Seth and gives you a shove at the same time as he casts long strider upon you and you gain 10 feet extra movement and he follows suit he follows your your um suggestion kind of shoulder to shoulder blade is moving back with you and giving you more speed to boot but also shoves you at the same time so you're sort of knocked in his direction a little bit too

Speaker: Emron, this corpse you're wailing on, the strike seems to deter what's happened to it, what's happening to it.

Speaker: As it sort of begins to reconstruct the elements that you just were like pounding at. But it's still continuing that glowing growth, as is the one that Seth felled next to it.

Speaker: More of the Kalavashari charge in. Your spiritual weapon can invoke opportunity attack, should you wish to.

Speaker: Yes, please. It will make its attack opportunity. With a 15 to hit. and That will hit.

Speaker: And 5 points of force damage. This guy is still standing. Fuck you now. and But otherwise, you need to see as one of the Blackmouth Rangers to the north is mauled to death by a lion.

Speaker: You're seeing as various members now, the displaced members of the Winged Watch, are beginning to fall one by one against some of the more central forces.

Speaker: We find ourselves back with the Undying Champions. Baal, what are we doing? Fucking hell. The group is not making their way to the door like disgust.

Speaker: ah So seeing that as he's kind of running back, he's and in the middle but between the two of them. He's the fucking party healer. And he will, with the wildfire spirit over his shoulder, quickly stop, turn to it, and just say kind of in draconic, narkva kreianand do and and kind of nod. And the wildfire spirit will...

Speaker: do a roundabout turn and make its way back 30 feet towards um the group ah to be in a nearby position if needs be. Baal, meanwhile, is going to continue and sprint to the door. So he's got one foot out the door, one foot in the door, head spinning left to right, right?

Speaker: And with the wildfire spirit as well, he's going to kind of look at it He's going to see this ah this um assassin, if you like, nearest to where one of the alphas are. And again, he's going to close his eyes. And this time the wildfire spirit, instead of firing out a little flame seed, its tongue is just going extend out its mouth, unfurl, forked, whip-like, as he's going to cast his thorn whip through the wildfire spirit.

Speaker: at that thuggy thug for the first time. ah And that is a 25 to hit. This is the one that's been hit a bunch of times by the spiritual weapon.

Speaker: ah That is correct. Yeah, 25 definitely hits. Okay, so that is five plus one. Six points of fire damage.

Speaker: And he eventually succumbs to all of this damage and falls. Cool. Awesome. ah Then what he will do is, I mean, the wildfire spirit can't discern friend from foe necessarily. So it'll just, if there's another enemy that's within 60 feet of it, it'll ping off another flame seed and just be, be, be, be. Well, there's, there's thugs to the north. There's lions to the north and west.

Speaker: Yeah. Fuck the lions. Fuck them in particular. so that's what we'll go for. for the lion to the north. Yeah, that is an 18 to hit the northern lion. Will hit. Tasty.

Speaker: The northern lion will take a full nine points of fire damage. Nice. And you watch as this one is struck by fire. Once those flames seem to go from that whip.

Speaker: Ah, wait, you Which ability did you use, sorry? That one was the flame seed, so it the the fire spirits attack. It is fire damage though, correct? Small person. It is fire damage, yeah, that's right. You watch as this lion begins to glow white as that fire kind of just like absorbs into it.

Speaker: I think I worked it out, guys.

Speaker: Baal's got a 22 passive perception. Can Baal have worked it out?

Speaker: Yes. Amazing. Seeing that, he'll just go, oh, fuck. Right. And he'll stay within the doorway and just hold position. Not blocking the door, but standing there almost one foot in, one foot out, ready to run, depending on which way goes.

Speaker: Alpha, are you doing?

Speaker: Now everybody else is moving slowly backwards. Alpha's going to use his whole 30 feet movement. whole thirty feet worth of movement He's going to move the many alpha line back about 30 feet. They're all still moving in sync. It looks like a parade going off at the moment. um And i'm just going to chuck off another quick firebolt to that same thug that's kind of near the Blackmouth Rangers with the lion as well, just to see if I can but um finish him off. Okay. Okay.

Speaker: 15 to hit. On the thug? On the thug. Yeah, hits. Lovely. And shit damage. That's four. Thank you very much. Does not finish him off. Bastard.

Speaker: um Yeah, no, no, that's it. That'll be ah oh everything on my turn. Thank you very much. Seth, you have 10 foot extra speed and your your ah fellow countryman is...

Speaker: Shoulder to shoulder with you. Thank you. The ah lion that Emron was beating his meat on, um what was the what was the state of that as we currently stand? i got lost between them.

Speaker: Was it reforming? So it'd fallen and it had started glowing white and slowly like um morphing. and As Emron was sort of pounding at it, it was delaying that morph, if you will.

Speaker: Okay. Seth's going to have spun around, feel that extra push and understand what he knows. He unfortunately has a very high intelligence and will have put 8 and 8 together and found 16.

Speaker: He's going to have seen the light that happened. It's annoying that he can't see what's happening with Orla because I definitely ditched the entire group to go and save her. But the smoke inhibits us.

Speaker: So instead, Seth's going to... turn about and then actually change his trajectory slightly and head towards Emron. and He's then going to use Emron's... I'm going to do another piggy another froggy jump.

Speaker: And ah want to have another swing down at the the lion that's reforming because I see what Emron's done and what's happening there. want to have another swing at that with my off... I can't. I have to use my own hand first because although I don't think it the offhand attack.

Speaker: So with the Shadow Blade to start off with, which is going to be a gorgeous 12 to hit. Yep. You can roll advantage. Oh, cool. I mean, I rolled attack anyway. I'll keep that at 21. No, it's even lower as 10.

Speaker: okay Okay. 12. if that hits, then 21 points of psychic damage. And then whether or not it's Dan or not, Seth's going to kick off from that and he's going to continue his route towards...

Speaker: the door but in the meantime he's going to see another thug uh in combat with the two black mouth rangers to the north and with the same attack they got two attacks per action he's going to release the shadow blade end over end the last time he did this uh listener was against marota many many moons ago and it's 26 27 feet away that will be at disadvan twenty eight to me at disadvantage because of um its its the extended range I've got for that, which is going to be an 11, or indeed it's going to be a 26. Oh man, so it's going to be an 11 to hit.

Speaker: Misses, I'm afraid. Yeah, so the blade kind of misses over his shoulder, then as it continues to swing, hits 40 feet, it just puffs out into nothingness, and I can reform it on a bonus action next round, which...

Speaker: In fact, he's going to do... No, he's not going to do now. He's going to, while this has been happening, bit muttering, and Nithra Bar is going to be almost a high-pitched dirge version of the Shadow song shadow Blade.

Speaker: Sorry. that ah um I haven't used it in literally so long, I've forgotten the damn name of it. Blade Song. It's going to start taking place and it's going to start echoing around the space almost. And you sort talk about the deafened corner, but this in our current area, this, this haunting melody is going to come out of this disgusting, massive eyed beetle, and um, uh, creature sentient being, um, as Seth gains four to AC four to con saves and an additional 10 feet of movement.

Speaker: I've burnt 10. I've still got 40 feet. Um, that was my bonus action. So the other, movement is going to be directly towards the door. He's going to, if he gets to an alpha, he's going fucking barrel, roll through it, hoping it's one of the fake ones. He's not going to be able to tell, literally like run through it. Cause I also have a mirror image and understand what the spell entails.

Speaker: He's going to run through it. So I'm going to hit the middle. You can move through allies. You can move through allies. Can I not barrel through him? You can barrel through him. Okay. Hold on. I'm joking. Hold on. Hold on on. I'm making things hard. I want to roll a D4. I want to roll a

Speaker: This is what I wanted. I just wanted to break one of them. I kind of wanted just barrel in. Four. You roll through one of the mirrors. um yeah And I'm at the other side with Nithravar screaming like ah like a petulant child leaving a a candy store, being dragged out of his enjoyment as he has to slowly follow um Seth towards the exit.

Speaker: Nice. And your strike, your your very strong strike to the corpse of a lion stops that growth. You watch as as you hit it, that white light disappears and it just remains a lifeless lion.

Speaker: Okay. Okay. He probably wouldn't have seen that, but thank you. Yeah, cheers.

Speaker: ah So seeing everyone falling back, Emron's going to ah move back to the line of alphas, just short of my 30 feet of movement. Look over his shoulder at the the many alphas and be like,

Speaker: Keep falling back, lad. And I will ready an action so that if a thug comes in range, or a hostile, sorry, comes in range, I will attack it. And then my spiritual weapon will move ah to the north and move towards the thug that's double-teaming the Blackmouth range with the lion.

Speaker: Yep, go for it. And we'll make an attack.

Speaker: That's a crit! Nice. A-ba-geek-a-ba-geek-a!

Speaker: So it will take... It's an episode 3 reference, guys, just in case anyone... I know you know, Will. I mean, for anyone listening. 16 points of force damage. up That's the noise Ian made when he got a crit in light episode 3. It is, yes, yes. That's why said it was an episode 3 reference. yeah and Awesome. 16 is enough to to take that thug down.

Speaker: Yeah. So... to that bitch and That's end of your turn? Yes. Okay. Okay. Everyone's there sort of taking a retreating action. So I'll sort of fast track what happens in the rest of the space ah temporarily.

Speaker: As all the lights have gone off to the north and you can still hear screaming and roaring and the clattering of of steel upon steel, you then see over the the the horizon of this this dark abyss now that's formed to the north, just this spray of acid breath.

Speaker: sweep across the north. Nothing gets as far as you, but you just see like almost like the end of wash of a tidal wave, acid just falling over the battlefield. And all of these lions and all of the Calvashari just sort of yelping out in sort of like a burning sensation.

Speaker: Closer to what you can see, however, you continue to see the Blackmouth Rangers laying waste to the lions they're engaged with.

Speaker: As they

Speaker: are able to swiftly dispatch the closest ring of enemies towards you and most change to their bows and take a few steps back towards where you you guys are retreating. Kennard, with an extra spring in his step, makes sure as he's a bit closer to alpha one of Altha's mirrors.

Speaker: those lines keep glowing that the Blackmouth Rangers took out just so, just for reference. ah they Well, not straight away. Not straight away. um But you're putting two and two together, you expect, unless the corpses are kind of like dealt with within period of time, they may take that form again.

Speaker: We're back to you guys. Bal, top of the round. You're at the door. Cool. I'm seeing everyone moving with us. Yes, you are.

Speaker: Amazing. In which case, i ah yeah i will I'll start pegging out at the door i'm going use my action to dash to try to get to Nyx, to the group, to to everyone there.

Speaker: Wildfire Spirit is going to um be mentally commanded to stick with the last of the Undying Champions within that room, like stick to their shoulder within five feet.

Speaker: um And that that's me. Great. Thank you ever so much. ah Alpha. I am replicating that action. I'm going use my movement and my action to dash all four alphas that are remaining going through the exit.

Speaker: I don't know if the hallway is four alphas wide, but I'm just going down there. well We'll send you through there, which leaves Seth. You are the only ally, no, sorry, Anabron. So Seth, you first.

Speaker: Let's take the room, Seth. Let's get all the XP. Others have fucked off. We got all the XP now. Fucking farm this bitch. We could take them. I've got 100 feet of movement. i can I can get anywhere I fucking want now. Let's fucking do it.

Speaker: Seth's going to watch them leave, look back to Emron. And then look at the room and the Nithravar screaming at him to go kill Slay um And is going to use his action to um smite Nithravar from existence for just one round of silence, please.

Speaker: um And we'll just knock him out of the air. And he disappears for a second, burning i one a first a one level spell slot, a first level spell slot of myself. This is like just attacking myself. Stop hitting yourself. Stop hitting yourself.

Speaker: And then it's going to take 50 feet um towards the door and out and however far you can get to find where everyone else is located. Awesome. Thank you very much.

Speaker: Emron, as the remaining Undying Champion in the room, what is your next step? Yeah, all the XP's mine. um No, ah I was going to have my spiritual weapon go and hit the thug that was by the table. Can I still do that?

Speaker: If it's got the range to do it. ah you would you would You would lose sight because of how dark it is now. So would you need to see that the creature that the spiritual weapon is hitting?

Speaker: As a bonus action on your later turns, you can move the force up to 30 feet because of my knuckle dusters. I don't need to be able to... I don't think I need to... It doesn't say that I have to but to see the target.

Speaker: I've moved it on your behalf into the darkness. Please make an attack. It will make an attack. At disadvantage or not? I mean, does the spiritual weapon see? I mean, here's the existential question. I feel like this is something for you to look at before we play again, but I'd like you to check into that about whether you yeah need to able to see the target. But for now, let's say it's a straight roll.

Speaker: Okay. Yeah, I'll have a look for you. That's not a situation I've ever thought about. 21 to hit. That will hit. And it's five points of force damage.

Speaker: Thank you. That little bitch. Very much. Emron? And Emron will move. I'm going to keep moving 30 feet. want make sure that Kennard's coming with him and that ah whatever the Black Mouth Rangers are doing, he's not going to totally you leave the room ah just yet, but he's now within gnat's testicle of getting out there. So, yes.

Speaker: Okay. ah Then, proceeding ah to follow in that order, you hear more screams, more more battle coming from the darkness to the north, and the Black Mouth Rangers continue

Speaker: to follow towards the door as well with the movement that they have left.

Speaker: Emron, as the only ally left in the room at this round, what would you like to do Find out that Seth locked the door? Door's wider.

Speaker: Psych! Emron, you're muted. sorry i do need line of sight because it uses my attack roll is made by you the caster so the target's hidden or i lack of line of sight it attack rolls at disadvantage i will heal it back thank you yes um sorry ah cool they're moving on everyone's now going to meh he's going to command the hammer to hit something at disadvantage because you know why not spells cast why not um

Speaker: it's not bad it's a 13 hit

Speaker: It's not near anything anymore. Okay, fair enough. Cool. I was just telling it to swing from this because that thing's going to able to catch up with me. And then I'm going to dash through the door to catch up with the others because who knows how far away invisible Sebastian and Nix are.

Speaker: And as you you head out to leave, the last thing you you see in that chamber is Kennard as he throws you one of his short swords and casts this spell around the frame of the door and seals the chamber as he's able to mould that stone so it now just looks like a thick wall.

Speaker: They've shut themselves in so you can escape. Son a bitch.

Speaker: And the party now, trying to keep pace with Nyx and Sparrowhawk. following the same cues of the splashes in the water, just hearing Nix's sort of um ah frantic breathing as he's charging down these tunnels.

Speaker: You're back into the old library after about two, three minutes of full sprint, one by one catching up with each other. A couple of doors were shut behind you, so Sparrowhawk is desperately, you would think, next, but you can't really see it, but you can just sort of hear the pattering of hand against stone, and then stone is impressed, and shelving the bookshelves reopen themselves. You head into this old, scorched, abandoned library.

Speaker: By the time Sparrowhawk's found that, most of you are now back in this library space.

Speaker: You head out into the street. Is there anything you want to do before you leave the the abandoned library?

Speaker: i've um I've caught Kennard's short sword. Did he throw it at me? Yeah, he just sort of lobbed it into the the ah space. I would have grabbed it because I assume he's thrown it for a reason. I don't know why yet, but we'll find out later.

Speaker: And sort of pocketed that ah for now. Eamon will look to the group now we're in the library and be like, do we think that the Pish knew it's compromised if the rest of the watch is?

Speaker: So I know that we're going to look to go out here soon. But before we do go, just yeah ah ah we call you Sebastian now.

Speaker: I can't hear you. I can't see you. You just have to tell me. But um what's the most valuable spell book that you will just happen to have in this library? It's a ruined library, Seth.

Speaker: Nix. What are you talking about? a spell book i don't know this is a library you might have something like an undercover under the floorboard type style maybe under a rug maybe under a pillow i don't know what kind of we have nothing here why don't you just say that the first place then we could have just gone maybe i don't have time for this where are we going where do you want to go goldview shavard compass we need to go to the docks and get on the boat and get out of here now assume the piss newt's compromised we didn't leave anything there did we

Speaker: Wait, where's Alpha? There's fucking four of them right there. What the fuck do you mean? Where is he? Hello. ah Probably by now they're starting to just kind of glitch in and out. imagine they all wave as well. How long does the the do wave image last?

Speaker: Only a minute. It's gone. How long does the blade song last? It's gone. It's gone. Okay. Sparrowhawk, invisible, so you can't really see him. How long does visibility el last?

Speaker: An hour, motherfuckers. Just like Nick's.

Speaker: no he doesn't he can go all night so what i'm saying is like we could just kind of walk out here casual walk we don't have to peg it we don't have to make ourselves look all suspicious we could just be like oh we went to go and visit a library today ah shucks it's been burnt down let's go back to our boat type style of walking rather than oh shit oh shit the world's gonna end style of running film you feel me nonchalant Nonchalant.

Speaker: That is, that's the theme. That's the word of the day. Let's nonchalantly walk our way to the boat, ship. Broken compass. Thank you. Severed compass. Fine, let's just go.

Speaker: Yeah. oh Okay. Yeah. I agree. I think we have to assume that anywhere that we consider safe on a winged watch point of view is compromised. And we've just got to go. Get to Goldview. Alpha can cast some cool wind shit and get it out of docks, whether it whether it's favorable winds or not.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Take me home. Everyone keeps looking around every time some message talks. Country Not quite working out where it's coming from. No, by the sea. To the place. Now. Well, he belongs. Yes. Just to get a marching order, who's who's opening the door to the the library and stepping up first?

Speaker: Nithravar, who's going to shout, West Virginia! No, he's not. He's coming.

Speaker: i imagine I like to imagine that he appears out of thin air slaps against the door, says it. let ah He's going to open the door shout west. He said nonchalant. He's going to shout west and then turn and then go on a tirade. A really loud tirade. He's getting louder as the as the series progresses.

Speaker: A loud tirade about the fickleness of mortals. You have been compromised. Why can you not trust your own kind? Why must you turn on each other in such a way?

Speaker: one border, one line. What is it through the folds of time and space? And he's just complaining about the fact that people fight. And he had better things to do with his life. um As he, yeah, he he doesn't push the door open. Seth will push door open and um he'll be looking for the boat.

Speaker: He'll also be looking for his crew. Oh, they're all dead. They're baddies. have to kill them. I'm killing the crew. Entire village is fucked. Isn't it away from the library to the port, so you're not going to see the crew straight away? Yeah, it's a different decent distance, but but as you all... Wait, Seth, don't open the door!

Speaker: Too late. As you open the door and you step out into the alleyway... We see demons. Seth Marston.

Speaker: Oh, no, na no, not no, no. Close the door, Seth. Close the door. We don't want that. We'll go back. There's some books here. We can survive. will take a step into the courtyard immediately outside and the door slams shut behind you as it's wrapped in a series of burning chains.

Speaker: In the alleyway, you see

Speaker: A hell door, a giant hell gate, suspended above it, wrapped in these black burning chains, is Prego the Majestic, as though he is about to be dropped into the hells by these two devils made entirely of chain, chain devils, if you will.

Speaker: In front of them are a pair of those gold-faced demons that you've encountered before, led by this

Speaker: fourth so fourth creature.

Speaker: A towering, grotesque demon. Stands over 15 feet tall, its whole body is twisted, has two massive pincers. capable of crushing armour and bone alike, and these two more humanoid arms underneath.

Speaker: It has this goat-like face, with these four piercing eyes that gleam with this cruelty and malice. has this red, leathery body, and drooling from four or five different parts of its mouth.

Speaker: Nidhrafar,

Speaker: cocky as it exited, burrows itself, Seth, within your traveling clothes, whimpering.

Speaker: As Prager the Majestic is just, whoosh, rotated upside down. You see all of his body flapping above this lava door, this red glow coming from underneath him, just says, save me.

Speaker: And he is dropped.

Speaker: And the two chain devils are pulled in with it. ah And that where we're going end this week's episode of the Fellowship the Tabletop. You're a twat. Oh my God.

Speaker: Oh, means the coming of the thingy. Now his brother's coming. Surely. Fuck. Well, no, no. will no we wi That was a great ending.

Speaker: What an ending. Fuck. What ending? Oh, Lord.

Speaker: Save you. Fuck you. no. He'll owe us. He'll owe us a massive favor. Nah, never work like that. Not with devils. Nah, but devils are bound by certain laws. so Well, not the devil that went down to Georgia. That's, that's you know, he lied.

Speaker: he was looking for a soul to steal. He was in a bind because he was way behind and he was willing to make a deal. You know?

Speaker: Well, shit, that was a fucking phenomenal way to end that episode. ah So, listeners, to just to reiterate some things, that if you wanted to see the first map where we were in the hall where all the lions were...

Speaker: making a mess, just follow X. And then if you wanted to see what we just saw when we're outside of the burnt library, again, follow x because I have taken some screenshots for you and you won't want to miss it. Trust me on that or help visualize Danny's or underpin Danny's already really good, tight visualization.

Speaker: Anyway, if you wanted to keep up to date, just follow the fucking X page. I'm done. We're done. You want the next episode. We want to fucking know what happens. So until next time, guys. Bye.
