Anyway, so we're going to get right into it. um I am very excited to introduce this show to you guys. It's been long coming, like I said. You know, when I announced this, it's something that really has been on my mind and on my heart.

for a while now, but I've just been praying and trusting the Lord's leading for the right time, you know.

um But I know you're probably wondering when you first saw maybe my post on Instagram or you you heard it from me, what exactly ah is God Talks?

Because that actually stands for G-O-D in my podcast. And G-O-D? Talks god talk G-O-D stands for grounds of dominion.

Grounds of dominion. That's what it stands for. Very interesting um how I got that grounds of dominion. It was basically i was praying. This was Years ago, and when I say that, I sound old, but I'm actually not old, guy this guys. um I'm still in university, okay? But anyway, um it came when i was I was praying, and I just wrote it down, and you know it was just a ah vision I had.

Really, that's exactly what this podcast is, this episode anyway, this episode or the next couple episodes, we'll see. I'm going to be explaining exactly what grounds of dominion means, what this podcast means, why it's important to me, why it should be important to you.

Yeah, so let's get into it. All right, so I want to start off by talking about when you hear grounds and in the context, I'm talking about what does that refer to?

grounds So according to Merriam-Webster, ground means a basis for belief, action, or argument. That's one of the definitions anyway. So in the context I'm talking about, when I say grounds of dominion, I'm talking about the true foundation. all right The foundation, the solid basis of upon which you can do three things.

And these are three things I'm going to be highlighting today. Live boldly, walk in purpose, and reign in life. I'm going to say that one more time because maybe these are some things you've never heard when we talk about grounds of dominion, a basis or belief or action that you can base your life upon.

to be able to live boldly, walk in purpose, and reign in life. The reason it's important for me to share this with you is because the only way to have dominion at all in life or in any circumstances situation is through God's word because he created the whole world.

So the only way to have dominion a way out or a way above life circumstances or situations is through God. you know So even if I want to talk about any sort of life, big challenge or circumstance or topic or issue in today's current world,

I it's, it's just not possible for me to talk about it without first of all, letting you know where this all stems from. Okay. So that's why I have to let you know what this is about.

So the only true ground is the word of God.
Reliability of God's Word vs Worldly Pace

going to say that one more time. The only true ground. What do I mean by true? The only accurate and real ground

Is the word of God. Okay. Your grounds for dominion in life. Can only be found in God's word. Nothing else will truly give you lasting power.

Okay. Other things may give you power. All right. For example, money gives you power. But it doesn't give you lasting power. The only thing that gives you lasting power, mastery, and authority over life circumstances is through God's word.

Every other foundation is shaky, but the word of God is sure. It's dependable. Oh my goodness, guys. The word of God is the most dependable thing.

The most dependable ground. In today's world, it's very fast-paced, you know, very dynamic, It's full of noise. Everyone's trying to find their place, especially nowadays. you know and ah Gary Vee, I'm not sure if you guys know him. I listen to him sometimes because um I like some of the um was a ah things he points out in today's world especially. He mentioned that ah today's world is moving towards interest media.

right And you can see that especially like everyone's so focused, so hyper fixated on only what they're interested in and, you know, trying to find their place, ah make something for themselves or of themselves, you know, ah they're just going with the flow and see what life has to offer them. But, you know, people are trying to find something out there.

It's so dynamic. it's It's so mobile. You know, things are moving so quickly. The truth is you weren't created to just go with the flow or try to find your place.
Jesus Feeds 5,000: Trusting God's Provision

You were created to actually take dominion in life over circumstances and situations. Not just go through the hustle or the hype or the or the world vision or status.

He wants you to be able to express what it truly means to be a success for him. That's very different for from being a success in the world.

So this is why dominion is necessary. Dominion means understanding that your source is divine and you were never meant to be limited by what you see. I'm going to take that again.

going to take that again. Dominion means understanding that your source is divine and you were never meant to be limited by what you see. And I'm going to give you an example. All right. Because sometimes it can be easy to mistake dominion with pride because some people might be thinking, well, oh, you know, I don't i don't need to really like have dominion over a challenge or circumstance. You know, sometimes there are situations that you may not be able to control or that there are things may happen. so I just want to clarify this.

If we look at Jesus, okay, best example, of course, you know, everyone goes follow Jesus. Yeah. Okay. He fed the 5,000.

And that was 5,000 men that were counted. Right. This man, Jesus, only had two fish and five loaves of bread. This means, imagine you have a crowd of people in front of you and someone brings you ah little kid's lunch.

I mean, what would be your first thought? Would your first thought be, oh, this is perfect. This is all that I need. You see, Jesus knew he was confident in God's proficiency.

He was confident in God's proficiency. He was able to live above the circumstance. He took dominion over the circumstance by showing that God was his source.

Right. So he didn't say, oh so having dominion doesn't mean I'm saying I'm coming on here saying you need to have all the money in the world to show that you have dominion over life situations and you must be rich. And no, no, no, no.

Jesus showcased that dominion over life circumstance means trusting in God's ability, trusting in God's dependability When the circumstance seems like there's no other solution, there's no way out.

Literally, he has 5,000 people, this man wants to feed them, and there's nothing except a little boy's lunch. What do I do? But Jesus said, that is exactly all that I need because I have all I need because I've got the Lord in me.

Somebody say hallelujah. Anyway, so that's that's all he needed. That's all he needed. You see, that doesn't mean Jesus wasn't money wise.

No, Jesus knew how to deal with finances. He was very financially prudent. Can I tell you why? You don't have a treasure if you're not handling money.

I'll say that again. There's no need to have a treasurer if you're not handling finances to a certain capacity. All right. Now, Jesus had a treasurer who was unfortunately Judas, who was unfortunately Judas, who, you know, you know the story. If you don't know the story, chat GPT it and it will give you a whole description.

right. um But you see, this is to say that when it comes to having dominion in life, grounds for dominion, your your trust, your satisfaction, your confidence comes from God alone.

all right And comes from what he said about you. Now, Jesus knew that he owned he owned the whole world. I mean, he created it. He knew.

But he didn't use that. So you didn' you didn't see him walking around with you know bags of money and saying, like you know because I made the whole world, I can do whatever I want. No, no, no, no, no.

He still had confidence in the Father. So we are to have confidence because the Bible already says that he's given us all things that we need for life.

So if he's already given it to us, it doesn't matter whether the money is physically there or isn't there. That's not where my confidence is. My confidence is in the Lord who provides for me daily.
