Introduction to God Talks with Chibs

00:00:04
Speaker
Welcome to God Talks with Chibs, where faith meets purpose and young voices rise to lead with truth. Let's build, grow, and go deeper in the word, in life, and in destiny.

Building Relationship Skills

00:00:27
Speaker
So I think now we should get into some practical steps because we've kind of yeah touched on everything now. But let's say there's someone who's like, okay, this is cool and all, but I'm not much of a talker.
00:00:40
Speaker
right How would we suggest that person build their communication skills or relationship building skills in the world today?
00:00:50
Speaker
in the world today, I think, is it just like anybody or believers or whatever? ah we can We can go both ways.

Talking to God and Sharing Faith

00:00:58
Speaker
I think for believers, I think like once you learn to talk to God, I think it makes it easier to talk to other people about God.
00:01:08
Speaker
And the biggest tip that I was given was like prayer. I think a few people that I've talked to that weren't believers and they've kind of questioned about like prayer and like when they've come to God and they've wanted to pray.
00:01:21
Speaker
And they're like, how am I supposed to be praying? Like, I don't know if I'm doing it right. And I just, best advice I got was like, there's no right way to do it. yeah Like, and it's just having a conversation with a friend. Like, that's how I talk to God. I'm like, I'm just talking to you. yeah Like, it's like, I'm sitting right next down, right next to him and I'm just talking.
00:01:38
Speaker
And just like, obviously, sometimes you hear him, sometimes you don't. And like, but it's just about having a conversation with a friend. And I think that comes from being able to understand the word. And obviously, there's room to grow in that aspect for myself personally. But just being able to, yeah, just read the word, being able to get more comfortable. Then you can talk to people.

Stepping Out of Comfort Zones

00:02:00
Speaker
And like Victor said, like go out of your comfort zone. I think that that is a huge part of just this world just because it's so broken in so many ways that you need to step out of your comfort zone and kind of be an outcast a little bit yeah because of how broken the world is just to be able to start something, right? Yeah. Yeah.
00:02:21
Speaker
So you if it's not by word of mouth, how else can we communicate?

Kindness and Social Anxiety

00:02:27
Speaker
right That's your question? that's a question For someone who's shy doesn't know how to communicate, but they want to learn. but they want to learn okay I think also, random kindness, being what you do.
00:02:43
Speaker
People often, you are reflection of your actions, I think so. So people study, even people take note of what you do. People take note of, like ke for example, taking a pack of Thinbids to work just for fun. yeah Or buying your colleague at work a birthday card. Or even be like, have a good night.
00:03:11
Speaker
Those small acts, I think, they mean a lot, especially in our society, where people are going through A lot of mental illness. Mental problems. Mental problems, yeah.
00:03:23
Speaker
And social anxiety. And social anxiety. It's a very real thing. true it is. And I mean, there are lots of times where I'm sure you guys have experienced it where you're just like, you're people that like you're just like, I'm...
00:03:34
Speaker
done with talking with people for today, like I want to just kind of sit um by my own. yeah And sometimes you just got to power through it because you don't have much of a choice. And I think that can help a lot of people to understand how people feel with social anxiety because I think that's where a lot of it can stem from, where they don't have a very high social social tolerance, right, where they can just sit there and talk and talk and talk, right?
00:03:56
Speaker
But I don't know, I think,

Power of Prayer and Humility

00:03:57
Speaker
yeah. I think also i like what you said about prayer. That's very... Yes, that's where a step is from. That's a step. That's the first point. That's the first point. yeah First step. I like 1 Chronicles.
00:04:09
Speaker
I don't know if it's 7.14 or 5.14. It says, if my people are called by my name, which is us, believers, shall humble themselves. I think the first step is being humble. Mm-hmm.
00:04:20
Speaker
shall humble themselves and pray. So there is that there for you to pray, there is a posture of humility that you need to take. I think it takes humility to pray for someone else.
00:04:31
Speaker
Because you're not thinking thinking less about yourself you than even praying for others. yeah So my people shall humble themselves and pray. then the Lord says, and I will hear from heaven and heal their land.
00:04:45
Speaker
So he will not only heal the people, but also he will heal the land. I think if you have a burden for someone, especially from let's say you have a burden from a friend at work, God in his own ways will Yes, answer that prayer, but also answer the prayer of the city, answer the prayer of the province, answer the the political atmosphere of everything. I think there's something about prayer.

Prayer Banks and Family Traditions

00:05:13
Speaker
When we were driving here, Chibikem and when I were talking about...
00:05:18
Speaker
prayer banks. There's a certain book by an author. He writes about like a bank, a normal bank, now a prayer bank, whereby you can send prayer into a specific storage bank whereby the Lord kind of You can't mediate from your prayer points. And I think also we have learned from our parents. they always have They're always writing prayer points. At the beginning of the year, they're always writing, right? Oh, yeah. Well, mom yeah, my mom is a very... She's a she's a writer. yeah Like, everything's written down. yeah
00:05:56
Speaker
Praying, writing down what she hears, all that stuff. Because, like... And even for me, like if i if I'm praying and I hear something or see something, sometimes I've gotten like very vivid images and I know that it's from God. I'll, as soon as I'll just write it my phone and then go write it my book later. Just and mark the date when it happened just so you remember because you you want to remember those things, especially about prayer.
00:06:18
Speaker
It's so important, like you said. And I think, yeah, for someone who's shy, just learning how to pray yeah can do absolute wonders. Yeah. You know, that reminds me of a point in Scripture where Peter and John are coming back.

Biblical Examples of Boldness

00:06:34
Speaker
They had finished preaching the gospel and they got chewed out by the Pharisees. And so they're coming back and they went to their they guys to tell them everything. And the first thing they did after they had discussed and they kind of updated them, they prayed. Bible says,
00:06:51
Speaker
And when they had prayed, i just, I just, the Bible sometimes is so cool. It's so poetic. And when they had prayed, then it goes, the place where they were praying in began to shake.
00:07:02
Speaker
Oh, wow. You know, so number one, they went to their community. Yeah. yeah Number two, they humbled themselves and prayed And then what happens after that? The Bible says, they they ask the Lord Lord, fill us with boldness Stretch out your hand That's what they asked for They said, stretch out your hand to show your wonderful deeds God said, yeah, I'm stretching out my hand But I'm going to do it through you So what does He do?
00:07:33
Speaker
He fills them with the spirit of boldness And then they go out and start proclaiming the message, proclaiming the message. So you're feeling shy, not sure what to do.
00:07:44
Speaker
Exactly what these guys have said is literally like I just showed you a case in point of what they've just said. You're feeling like well you're not sure what to do, you're not sure how to connect with people.

Worship and Perspective Shift

00:07:53
Speaker
pray or even for me listen to worship music man that's one of the biggest ways that i i find that the lord speaks to me like if i'm just listening to if i'm just listening to worship music it might just be one lyric that just like hits me so hard and i' like man that i needed that right yeah yeah yeah and just it turns on that it just turns on that switch and you're just like man i needed that and then you're feeling it you're feeling it like there's been a few times like obviously you're not going to feel great every day going to church you're not going to be like I'm so so excited to come for church. Sometimes you're like, I gotta go to church because I know it's good for me. yeah And that's okay.
00:08:27
Speaker
But there's there's been times, man, that's why I love the Lynx worship so much. It reminds me of, if you guys know Bethel in the States, like their worship is like an hour long, hour and a half. And the Lynx is a little bit smaller yeah but the same vibe yeah and there's just been a few times man i've just been there just like hearing the words and i'm like man i just want to start just jumping and like i just want to start just like having a party it's it's crazy like i just want us to go up to the stage and start just going like this and cheering everyone on right like it's Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
00:09:00
Speaker
You know? that's right That's why he says, oh, I could pull out scriptures now. That's why the Bible says count bullet really do that says, count it all joy. And you may wondering, because, listen, sometimes people think that Christians are just, they make no sense.
00:09:20
Speaker
Yes and no. Yes, Because our source doesn't come from this world because if your source comes from this world It's gonna die at some point everything in this world finishes at some point, right?
00:09:35
Speaker
So it comes from somewhere else But it doesn't mean we we don't go through the things that the people go through in this world. It's just there's a different source, you know, I'm saying so Well, that's what, like you said, like going through everyone, whether you're a believer or not, man, you're going there's going to be troubled times. yeah Like it's not, it's not going to be perfect all the time.

Social Media's Impact on Faith

00:09:54
Speaker
It's not, life is literally a rollercoaster up and down.
00:09:58
Speaker
But the thing is, if you have the Holy Spirit, it's not as high and it's not as low. It's a lot easier to stay a little bit more even yeah and a little bit more leveled off. And I think that's just ah a huge part of being a believer, right? Like you just need to you just need to be able to turn to God, good or bad. yeah And that's another thing, right? Like people will pray when they're struggling.
00:10:20
Speaker
But we need to pray when we're doing great, too. We just need to be like, thank you, Lord. i' I'm feeling great. Is there anything that I may not even notice that's not not going right for me, even though I'm having such a great like week, day, whatever it is? like You need to be able to pray when it's good or bad. yeah And I think that's that's think that's missed a little bit sometimes. like People will just be like, oh, man, I'm struggling. i got to pray.
00:10:43
Speaker
Well, yeah, that's great. But when you're doing great, you got to pray too, man. yeah And I think that really even changes even how you view things. Thanking God for having a heart of thanksgiving, it changes.
00:10:55
Speaker
I think we live in a society whereby there's a lot of comparing, especially with comparison, especially with... social media so there is an expectation where you have viewed yourself yeah by the age of 25 you have two kids in a house and that was our parents expectation okay let's say economy is little bit different but you get what i'm saying there is a comparison aspect in in in every person's life yeah we all tend to compare our lives to someone else Even when we don't think so. Oh, yeah, for sure. And social media is horrible for that. I mean, the amount of times I'm looking at someone I went to high school with and they're doing really well and I'm just like...
00:11:43
Speaker
and But then I just gotta be like, you know what? I can't. i can't You can't compare. like they They did different things things differently and like I know wherever I'm supposed to go God's gonna lead me right there. like Obviously, it's been a rough year, but it's like... I'm sure... right where

Networking and Divine Opportunities

00:11:59
Speaker
I need to be. I'm sure Peter...
00:12:00
Speaker
didn't think that he was going end up dropping everything, his whole business, following Jesus, some guy. but I mean, like, look what happened to his life, you know? So we can't really quantify, we can't quantify it based on the six different panels someone has on their Instagram of how they're doing.
00:12:21
Speaker
know what I'm saying? Oh, you can't. can't, oh you can't, you can't base it all It's like, read it you can't judge a book by its cover. You really can't. And even, it it can even go for professional athletes, man. Like not, like there have been, I'm actually very happy at the amount of athletes that have come out be like, man, I'm struggling with mental health. Mm-hmm. Because it doesn't matter. They're millionaires. But yeah still there's still things that you're struggling with. Like, no money in the world is going to change if you are depressed. yeah And realistically, man, the only thing that can help if you're depressed is God. Like, it really is.
00:12:52
Speaker
it really is. Like, the only the only way because like man when I was feeling down like that and I just like prayed and I was like God I have no idea what to do yeah like I have no idea what to do and I literally felt him just touch my shoulders and be like I got you and that was like since that day I'm just like man haven't felt that feeling once you know and it's just it's crazy what the Lord can do and I think everyone should uh Everyone should go go to church, man.
00:13:20
Speaker
Go to church. go to Go to church. This is the title of the episode. Go to church. Oh, boy. Okay. Yes, final question before we wrap things up.
00:13:31
Speaker
But looking back a bit at your own relationships and networking journey, What doors or divine moments came simply from you reaching out or staying connected with someone?
00:13:47
Speaker
Someone or God? Let's start with someone, because I want to emphasize you talking with someone and relating with someone, because I guess we already kind of touched your personal experience with God. Yeah.

A Kenyan Student's Faith Journey

00:14:07
Speaker
Yeah, I'll speak. I mean, I'm Kenyan. I'm an international student in Canada, of course. So there was a point, I think, my first job was through network.
00:14:23
Speaker
It was a friend of mine i just met at the college. His name is Zach. I just told him looking for... Shout out, Zach. Shout out, yeah. Shout shout out, Zach. I don't know you, but shout out, Zach.
00:14:33
Speaker
Zach. Yeah, so it was through a network. and And I just simply told him I'm looking for anything I can do. And he told me he works in a certain restaurant. I should come and check it out.
00:14:48
Speaker
And I went there. dropped my resume. Talked to the a very cool boss. His name is Mauricio. Shout out Mauricio. And then that's how I got the job, right? So I think in in even I remember coming to this country, I had only two thousand dollars saved up i told my parents not to send me money because i wanted to live life on own that was a big challenge of course i don't know why i did that but i did because the lord provides for but wo you knew you knew you had faith yeah exactly yes it was a huge step of faith and i was only 20 years old
00:15:29
Speaker
And I think also, so i think from my first job to my first house, not place i was staying, not my house, but where I was staying, the lady I met from Airbnb, she helped me open my first bank account.
00:15:46
Speaker
She helped me open my social insurance number. Even like literally even my first church, Hillcrest. No, it was first assembly then Hillcrest.
00:15:58
Speaker
My good friend Israel, one of my first... Shout out Israel! I actually know that one. Yeah. Shout out Israel. My mentor, very...
00:16:11
Speaker
He tells me to call him brother, but I i honor him so much. Yusuf. Shout out Yusuf. Muhammad. He is a very wise man.
00:16:22
Speaker
He told me, keep going. That has always been his is his word to me. Very simple, keep going. And think we need people, definitely. So I think for me, those are the people who, of course, my parents as well.
00:16:39
Speaker
And the community of the Lord has brought in my life through the church, through school leadership, through church, through playing soccer.
00:16:54
Speaker
Just, yeah. and I'm great for

God's Provision Beyond Finances

00:16:57
Speaker
you. Well, don't want i dont want to speak on your life or anything, but I feel like if you didn't meet community when you moved here, things might be a little different for you, even though you still have that faith in God, right? But that's what, talking about community, man, you met people that helped you out, and you need and God put them there to help you out, and you trusted in God to come here with limited limited money, and he wanted to do it on your own, and he he provided It may not be A lot of times I feel like people be like, oh, God's providing for me, but they always talk about physical money. yeah But it's not always money.
00:17:32
Speaker
True. it's true God may provide a person. God may provide just something. Maybe so small. yeah But that will impact something way later. That's why there are no coincidences. There aren't.
00:17:43
Speaker
any coincidences when it comes to the lord man yeah there is no coincidences the and it's like people will say like oh man this is so unbelievable but like if us as christians we say we get have whatever we're blessed with something like it's this is so unbelievable but it's not it's very believable because of who the holy spirit is right like it's just it it's incredible man that's that's incredible it's incredible what was the question i uh yeah so memory sucks is all good so um in your own networking relationship journey what are some divine moments that came from you reaching out to to someone or staying connected with someone
00:18:28
Speaker
um probably From my my best friend

Starting Bible Study with Non-Churchgoers

00:18:33
Speaker
Dylan. Shout out Dylan. shout out When I first moved here and I was really struggling and then that's when I kind of started building my relationship with God.
00:18:43
Speaker
And like I said earlier, being open about it and not hiding the fact. um and this And Dylan, he has one of his other best friends is also a believer too. And kind of just like a A cool moment for me was just when we were talking one night and he's like, why don't we just do like a Bible study or something together? And this is a guy that isn't doesn't go to church, like might have beliefs here or there, but he's just like, why don't we just do a Bible study?
00:19:11
Speaker
And that's that was that was very, very cool to see. and I ended up bringing out a Fresh Start Bible to them to do that, which is for new believers.
00:19:22
Speaker
um Would recommend for sure. It's it's great. Like the first 10 pages are just like very common questions for people, for atheist people or non-believers, whatever it may be.
00:19:34
Speaker
And we just, yeah, we did Bible study. wasn't as often, but we still did it and talked about God and asked questions and prayed about it and stuff. And that is just from someone else that was so close to me in my life that isn't at the same point as me religiously with God and my relationship with God just suggesting that. I'm like...
00:19:58
Speaker
who put that idea in his head? You already know. God's just like, there you go. Right? Like, it's just, and that, I mean, I could probably speak on multiple stories of, like, a lot of my friends that aren't believers, and even them just kind of, they ask questions, and that's the biggest thing for me, man. Like, ah I may not be as knowledgeable in the Bible as you guys are, other people,
00:20:24
Speaker
But I'm more so, the way I like to speak is a lot about my experience and my like things that I've gone through and especially... Your testimony. My testimony. that' That's a lot of the the things I use when I talk to people, just my testimony because, I mean, you could ask people that saw me before I moved here and they'd be like, man, you're a completely

Community and 'God Incidences'

00:20:43
Speaker
different person. And that's that I owe that all to Holy Spirit, man. It's just, it's incredible.
00:20:49
Speaker
ah think every day is divine, man. And you know, i guess a divine connection for all of all three of us would be link young adults.
00:20:59
Speaker
For sure. We all have our different stories, I guess, of how we, you know, but through that, I mean, that's how I met you wonderful gentlemen. And now look at this.
00:21:10
Speaker
Now we're using our experiences to reach other people of that, you know, I have no idea who watches this. yeah I just put it there, you know what saying? But... It could be two people, it could be a hundred people, man. If those two people see it and they're like, man, i ah kind of I'm interested in going to church, I'm interested in learning, man. ah That's enough. That helps a lot. It helps a lot.
00:21:32
Speaker
Like, you and I were talking about that one day of, um, at your house of, like, God coming back and how it doesn't... It's so funny how I mentioned that, like, I feel like it wasn't talked about and then two weeks later on Sunday, Mike is... Pastor Mike is talking about the whiteboard. Oh my goodness, dude. I walked into church i was like...
00:21:51
Speaker
Are you serious, God? Like, it was actually interesting because I was literally thinking about that topic the whole week. yeah ah Like, I'm not even kidding. I'm thinking about this topic. And then God goes, well, here you go. That's the craziest thing. That's coincidence. But it's not. not. It's like we're, Victor and I are sitting here like, man, I feel like i feel like the church doesn't talk enough about the end times because it is, it can be a sensitive, scary topic for people. Yeah.
00:22:18
Speaker
of God coming back and then there's a thousand years or whatever of just like not great times on earth yeah and of course two weeks later Mike's just talking about it for part one part two and thought that was so funny man it's coincidence is a God incident gods ladies i like that we gotta put that on a shirt yes yeah yeah yeah brand it start wearing it god incidences yeah i'm good i guess so yeah man i don't know i think oh that's great man yeah changed my life oh hallelujah i'm telling for me ever since 2020 26th december 2020 that was when got filled with hoodies
00:23:07
Speaker
ever since that day think if you're not filled with the holy spirit i advise you just say this prayer after me no joking but yeah you could have done it i was down for it anyway i'm gonna ask you guys to pray later because you know we gotta to get some prayers of course gotta get some prayers lead us through

Prayer, Healing, and Forgiveness

00:23:27
Speaker
prayer but i think it's i i think you are there's a There's a role that the Holy Spirit plays every single person, especially if you're a believer.
00:23:42
Speaker
there's certain capacities that you cannot handle without the Holy Spirit. Because He's your helper. And if He's your helper, it means you're weak. Right?
00:23:53
Speaker
If you need someone to help you, it means you're not as strong as maybe you think. Or maybe you're not as wise as you think. So you definitely need someone, a spirit, that has been here before time began. began And that's not to say that we're all weak.
00:24:10
Speaker
Like, we're we're not, like, necessarily weak, but we all need someone. We all yeah we all need someone. We all need community. I'm weak. Yeah, I'm weak too, man. I'm weak too.
00:24:21
Speaker
But I think touching on, or adding on to that, like, that that is is important, right? Just being able to connect with God and being able to just, like, when you're when you're down, just be able to connect with Him. Because, man, if you heartbreak in your heart,
00:24:39
Speaker
That takes a long time to heal. And another important thing too is not even just like adding on to prayer, not even just like praying in the bad times of the good, but praying and forgiving.
00:24:49
Speaker
Like you, like being able to forgive someone that did you wrong. is a powerful thing to do oh yeah yeah yeah and like especially like there's lots of people that i've known that have been through things probably way worse than i've ever experienced and then being able to forgive that person that doesn't happen without the holy spirit man no that's like you you you can't you you can't you could go through life just being angry and hating someone and just always resenting them for what they did or you can
00:25:21
Speaker
just take it upon yourself and be like, God, I don't want to feel this anger anymore. I want to let it go. Like, I want to forgive. Because it's like, once you release that, man, it's just, oh, yeah absolutely. just It just feels like there's a weight lifted off your shoulders.
00:25:36
Speaker
A lot of the time people think forgiveness has to do more with you letting the other person off the hook when it's actually more for you than it is for the other person. Oh yeah, forgiveness is for yourself, man. It's not for the other person.
00:25:49
Speaker
And just like just like saying sorry to someone, like i I think apologizing, some people might be apologizing for themselves. And that's okay. like There are things like, yeah, you're sorry for, you apologize. and But...
00:26:02
Speaker
Saying sorry over and over and over again for the same thing, i think is a little bit repetitive because it takes the other person to forgive you for themselves first.
00:26:13
Speaker
Like you're forgiving, like if I was upset at Victor and then I just chose, no, going to forgive you. But me saying, I forgive you, after you say, I'm sorry, both of us feel that weight lifted, right? Like, we're both, forgiveness is for me, but it also helps him being like, okay, we're good, we're past this, we're good, right? It's true.
00:26:37
Speaker
these are amazing points we've touched on and i mean i could keep going but you know there's not that kind of podcast that you might have 24 hour live stream baby but uh yeah i think i think we should just top this off with some prayer um and if you all don't mind going to get both of you to pray for whoever is listening.
00:27:06
Speaker
Maybe wasn't talking to you, Siri.

Exploring Faith and Community

Maybe it's somebody who is listening and now they need a community. right and we might be the community that they need they need that prayer so yeah whatever is on your heart at this moment um you want to start us off and then new victory well i'm gonna say something that i told both of you guys that one day the thing that i said at your house i think it's very important to end on i think uh for people that aren't believers and are interested ah think a big thing that think of is like
00:27:42
Speaker
God gives you the free will of choice, but you choose to have faith in him, yeah in making those choices. True. Right? So you we have faith that God will provide. We have faith that God will keep us safe and happy and and and healthy. But could go out.
00:28:00
Speaker
i could go out And kill someone right now if I wanted to. It's a little extreme, but like I have the free will to go do that if I wanted to. But I also have the choice of myself to be like, no, I i don't want to do that. yeah And that's from God, right? So that's kind of where something I wanted to say.
00:28:19
Speaker
But I ah shall start.
00:28:27
Speaker
Thank you, God, for Victor and Chib here. and the God Talks podcast for hopefully reaching out to anyone in need or anyone that's got questions or just wants to learn a little bit, Lord, that learn who you are and who you truly are, Lord, flesh and blood of the Holy Spirit, God. it is It's incredible what it can do for for people around the world, what it's done for all three of us sitting here.
00:28:58
Speaker
got stories for days we could tell, but I just want to pray for anyone listening that not to be shy about asking questions and not not to be nervous about walking into church not knowing anybody because of how overwhelmingly friendly people will be and they'll surprise you and how important it is to be surrounded by people that think and feel the same beliefs as you, God.
00:29:28
Speaker
Because you are you are the answer at the end of the day, Lord. And I just want to put that out there that there is nobody like you, God. And you will save and you will heal anybody that is asking for it and is just on their knees begging for for you to help them out, God. Because ah you will do that.
00:29:47
Speaker
And I just want to pray quickly for Chib and Victor here that they will continue to walk in your walk. and trusting you and having faith in you Lord that you will provide and put them on the right path for what you set them out to do for your community God and building your community on this broken earth.
00:30:13
Speaker
Dear Lord Jesus, we are grateful. Thank you for this time, this fellowship, this communion that we have had even in this new beginning of of evangelism, invitededly just speaking our hearts to our fellow believers and those who have not even heard of you, Lord Jesus.

Leaving Burdens at the Cross

00:30:34
Speaker
Lord, we read in your word, it says, cast all your cares, that we shall cast all our cares on you, for you care for us, that we shall cast all our anxiety on you, for you care for us.
00:30:48
Speaker
Lord, we read in the book of Matthew, and you tell us, come all who are weary and heavy, Lord, and And then we shall take your yoke, for your yoke is easy, and your burden is like Lord Jesus.
00:30:59
Speaker
We choose to leave our burdens at the cross. We choose to leave our yokes at the cross, and we choose to choose narrow path. The yoke that is easy, which is the rock the yoke of Christ in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus, because you have gone ahead of us.
00:31:18
Speaker
You know sometimes we we think a lot about our future, we think a lot about what the future holds in in terms of our careers, in terms of where we need to be, but Lord, there's something about just waiting on you, just waiting on your spirit, waiting on on on on the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, Lord Jesus.
00:31:42
Speaker
Lord, teach us again and again to wait for you, to wait on you, to wait on your promises, which are yes and amen, Lord Jesus. And even for any person who is listening to this podcast, Lord, may you speak to them directly in their hearts, just like you spoke to each and every one of us here.
00:31:58
Speaker
Lord, you spoke to Dallas, you spoke to Chibs, you even spoke to myself in that prayer mountain. Even you spoke to me, even as young as i was 12 years old, I remember when I was in the sick bed, Lord, you spoke to me.
00:32:11
Speaker
Lord you spoke to me in my lowest moments when I was in high school Lord Jesus the same way there's someone who is begging who's clearly crying for a voice for Jesus may you speak to them and Lord my father your word says that the kingdom of God is not only by word but by power Lord Jesus we also pray for the manifestation of your power in their life in name of Jesus if it healing we pray for healing in the name of of Jesus. We pray for a turnaround, a miracle in the name of Jesus, a blessing in the name of Jesus. Dallas has spoken a lot about a blessing not necessarily being financial, Lord Jesus, but also spiritual blessings as well. Lord Jesus, we pray for that upon any person who is listening to this podcast.
00:32:56
Speaker
And also, Lord, we pray for growth because we know as believers there is a point where growth is needed. where we don't have to feed on milk only, but now we have to feed on solid food. And also, Lord, give us wisdom to know that, Lord, we are in the last days.
00:33:13
Speaker
Lord, in any time, any second, any hour, you might come for the church, Lord. Always his teach us, Lord, keep us humble enough to put you first in everything that we do. We give all the glory and praise in Jesus' name.
00:33:26
Speaker
Amen. Amen. Amen.

Invitation to Accept Christ

00:33:28
Speaker
All right. Finally, just before we go, I want to give an opportunity. If there's anyone right now you might like to actually want to take the next step, make Jesus the Lord of your life. It's simpler than you think.
00:33:46
Speaker
It takes just talking to Him, right? You got to let Him in. And so i always like to give an opportunity after every episode. So if you want to, just say this after me.
00:33:57
Speaker
All you're doing is you're saying you're praying. You're talking to God and saying, you know what, Lord? I think I want to take that next step with you. And then it begins, right? Because you have authority over your life with your words.
00:34:10
Speaker
So just say this after me. Say, oh, Lord God. I just heard about you today. i believe that Jesus died for me. He was raised for me and that he's alive today.
00:34:23
Speaker
I confess with my mouth that he's the Lord of my life from this day. I'm born again. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. I'm your child and you're my father.
00:34:37
Speaker
Amen. All right. So he said that. Congratulations. um You can. email us yeah let's welcome to the family yes sir the community the community shout out anyway but yeah so if you said that prayer um email us i have a special gift for you it's uh basically it's a book and it's now that you're born again it's basically what to do now that you're here and it gives you guides on you know what to kind of study um how to grow your faith all of those things so yeah reach out to me and i'll send that over to you right away
