Manifestation and Goal Setting
00:00:55
Speaker
Hello, my beautiful, beautiful friend. Welcome back to another episode. I am your host, Alyssa, and I'm so happy that you're here with me this week. So this week, I wanted to talk all about manifestation and goal setting. And the reason that I'm super excited to talk about this is because
00:01:18
Speaker
I have been seeing how crazy and really fast very specific manifestations have been coming to pass, specifically for George.
George's Success Story
00:01:31
Speaker
So, George is my partner. He's an entrepreneur and he has an anime business. So, he sells all sorts of anime products online and in person. And George isn't the typical spiritual... He's not on the spiritual path like us. He's super smart and super tuned into his intuition.
00:01:55
Speaker
he doesn't necessarily like he's not interested in all of this kind of woo woo stuff, right? But it's so cool, you guys, because I'm able to see how like, even without being tuned into it or learning about any of this, like, he's very more inspired by like motivational speakers, you know, like personal growth and development, like motivational speakers.
Nature vs. Nurture Debate
00:02:14
Speaker
like Jordan Peterson and Les Brown. So he does, he has been listening to those types of speakers since high school. And we were actually talking about it this weekend. We went to watch the movies and then we came home and we're just like parked in front of our apartments and like talking for like an hour and a half in the car. Like sometimes we do that. We just love to like talk for a long time. And we were talking about like, why is it that
00:02:41
Speaker
certain people can grow up in a certain environment with like multiple siblings. And one of them, specifically him, his life is so different than the other five siblings that he has. And in terms of like, uh, graduating college and like starting his own business and just like, it's like, okay, so there's nature versus nurture and all of them were nurtured the same, right? From the same loving mom.
00:03:10
Speaker
But why is it that one out of six lives is pretty different? And so, yeah, and we were just thinking about it and he's like, oh, I really attribute it to the speakers that I was listening to growing up. He grew up in Watts in Los Angeles, like East Los Angeles, which is like the projects.
00:03:32
Speaker
in poverty, single mom that immigrated here from El Salvador. She can't read or write. She only speaks Spanish. And so even with all of that adversity that they face, he has such a beautiful, close, loving relationship with his mom.
Mindset and Motivation
00:03:53
Speaker
He was always the one to stay at home and spend a lot of time with his mom, which is so funny out of all the siblings.
00:04:01
Speaker
he's also again like the only one that went to graduated college and like has moved on to different like bigger successful things you know like running his business not to say that the other siblings aren't successful but we're just like what is the difference you know and so he really attributed it to these speakers that he's just been listening to since high school and
00:04:22
Speaker
just, he says literally brainwashing himself, like brainwashing himself with this motivation, this positivity, this like, don't give up on yourself, like very strong influences, right?
Manifestation Techniques
00:04:35
Speaker
And so we're like, okay, so he's kind of has been like brainwashing his subconscious for so many years to believe in himself, to not give up, to go after all of his dreams, to know that he is worthy, to know that he is capable. And
00:04:50
Speaker
So he already kind of has this like programming right in his subconscious that he can literally attain anything and so it's so funny because we have been noticing like these little like goals or we can call them manifestations right like if we think about our life in the life that we want to create.
00:05:06
Speaker
Manifestation is literally just manifesting thoughts or ideas of what we want into reality, into form. We can look at them as the same thing as goals. It's like we have these goals, we have these desires that we want to achieve. It's the same thing as manifestation. We really are co-creators with the universe. In this episode, I want to talk all about how to
00:05:31
Speaker
get very clear, like all the things that it takes to be very clear for our manifestation slash goals. And I'm going to be talking about a really cool kind of like, I wouldn't say it's a metaphor, maybe it is, but it's like, what I see in the recruiting, like as me and recruiting in my corporate job, like what I see from candidates and the ones that are successful, I really attribute it to like, co-creating with the universe, and getting your manifestations is the same thing as getting the job. So I'm going to be talking about that. But
00:06:01
Speaker
Me and George were just talking in the car about how very specific manifestations that he's been having recently have been coming to pass. And I talk to him all the time about spiritual things. And he's like, wow, I think the universe is really listening to me, Alyssa, because listen to these very specific things. That's freaking wild. So he has this huge business goal
00:06:27
Speaker
for a huge change that he's doing in May, like May 15th. And so in order for this huge business thing to come to pass, he's very specifically, there's a number goal that he needs to make for this May 15th investment that he's doing. And so he set actionable goals and basically backtracked and figured out that he needs to make exactly $338 every single time that he goes live, that he sells live live streaming on this app called Whatnot.
00:06:56
Speaker
So he does that three times a week and then he also sells in person on Thursdays. So anyways, he figured out that, okay, I need to make $338 every single time minimum. Um, so I'm going to shoot for that every single stream. Anyways, he made the goal that morning and that night after he got off live, he came in and was like, Alyssa, you'll never believe how much money I just fucking made right now. I'm like, Oh, how much he's like $338, not a penny more or a penny less.
00:07:26
Speaker
And he stayed on for like the exact same time that he would stay on. I think it was like two hours. And I was like, oh my God. And it can range anywhere from like less than that to like more than that. So we're like, okay, we need to add in there. Like, oh universe, I want to make $338 or more. $338 or give me something better. Like that's why we're like, okay, we also need to include or show me something better so that we don't just cap ourselves at that because it would have been really cool to make more than that, right?
00:07:55
Speaker
But we're like, Oh my God. And so that's what I'm really going to talk about when we talk about getting very clear on our goals and manifestations. And this is why, because we need to know what we're shooting for. We need to know what we're aiming for. And the universe needs to know too. And our subconscious mind needs to know too, in order to put everything into motion to happen, to make it happen.
00:08:16
Speaker
And as we take action, like he wasn't just like, oh, I need to make this huge, um, like I need to make this huge amount of money to have this like financial investment on May 15th. And then just like, be like, okay, universe, I want to make this amount and then sit down and not do anything right for like however many months it's been.
00:08:33
Speaker
Like no, he's like going and continuing to show up and to like sell his services and put himself out there and like he's not missing any days. And so like he's still taking all the actions that it takes, but he's very clear on exactly how much money he wants to make. So he's not leaving it up to chance and it's really freaking working.
Weather and Health Manifestation
00:08:50
Speaker
So that's been really cool to watch. The other craziest manifestation that happened was we went to Disneyland. Um, like I told you guys last weekend for our eight year anniversary.
00:09:02
Speaker
And we checked the weather and it was supposed to be really sunny. And we're like, dang, that really sucks because he, first of all, he had had some health problems from the vaccine last year. And so he's getting over it and feeling a lot better now, but he doesn't do well in heat.
00:09:24
Speaker
And we're going to be walking a lot. And he's just barely getting his strength back up. He's somebody who used to play basketball for three hours a day, five to six to seven days a week, and then go work out on top of that for two more hours and do cardio. He's a runner. He's loved running his whole life. He's very active. And when he got the vaccine last year,
00:09:46
Speaker
it knocked him out. Like he got diagnosed with myocarditis and like inflammation of like the muscles around the heart. And he just got super sick. And so he was, he's not able to play basketball anymore. He hasn't been able to work out since. Um, and so he's been slowly like getting back into walking. And so we're like, okay, we, we don't want it to be hot there because we're going to be doing so many walking steps. Um, so he was like, I'm going to ask the universe to make it like seventies, like low seventies and cloudy.
00:10:15
Speaker
he loves cloudiness. And it was supposed to be like clear skies, like 78, high 78s. And he's like, I want it to be like 70 degrees or like 69 and cloudy. And he's like, I'm just going to ask the universe for that. I'm like, okay, cool. Um, and it was like very close out. Like we planned this trip like three or four days in advance. So it wasn't like the weather had this like opportunity to change drastically. Right. And so, um, yeah, as we kept checking it, we're like, dang, that sucks. Like it's still really sunny.
00:10:41
Speaker
You guys, the frickin' day of, like the day that we went there, we went on Sunday and we were gonna go to Disneyland on Monday. And on Sunday, the forecast changed and it was cloudy below 70s, like 68, 69, 70, 71.
00:10:57
Speaker
We're like, what the hell? Like, let's see if it sticks. And yeah, sure enough on Monday, it stayed like that. And it's crazy because we had gone shopping to buy like cute new clothes like to wear. And so we both bought shorts and I bought like a fricking tank top and a hat. Like we went to multiple different places to get like cute hats or like visors because it was supposed to be
00:11:16
Speaker
super high 70s with very clear skies. And so we were preparing for it to be hot as hell. And to us, that's hot, but I know that's not hot to people who live in other places, but we're just so used to San Diego weather, which is like literally 70s perfect like year round. So anyways, we're like really planning for it. And thank God I brought an extra pair of jeans because I was able to just wear jeans instead because I get cold very easily. So to me, like low 70s is cold. It's like, it's funny how picky it is.
00:11:46
Speaker
But I was like, thank God I brought these freaking jeans. And then I had to wear his jacket because I didn't even bring a proper jacket. That's how fast the weather changed for us. And we're like, yep, thank you, universe. And that's being very clear, specific on what we want. And he just knew it was going to happen. And so, yeah, so I mean, believe what you want, but I really believe that it was because he asked the universe and the universe provided. So, yeah, let's get into today's episode.
00:12:16
Speaker
When we talk about manifestation, we can also interchange it with goals, to be honest. I love setting goals. We can think of it as desires, things that we're really calling in. With both of those, there's a few parameters that we want to set to make sure that we can just make them happen with the least resistance possible.
00:12:44
Speaker
When we think about this idea of manifesting or even setting our goals, it's kind of more fun and magical to think about manifesting the word manifestation because when we just think about goal setting, we might feel like we're taking on all of the responsibility, which we are. We're taking on a huge part of the responsibility. We're going to be
00:13:02
Speaker
like creating action steps and like really getting specific on what we need to do to make this happen. And there's also room for the universe to conspire with us and just like open doors that we didn't think were possible to introduce us to people that we never knew to just include shortcuts and magic and make things happen faster, make things happen in a more magical way, make things happen in a more easeful
Manifestation vs. Goal Setting
00:13:27
Speaker
way. And so I love that so much. And so,
00:13:32
Speaker
If we just focus on a few parameters when we're really thinking about this, it's going to make it so much easier. So the number one thing that we need to do whenever we're creating some sort of goal or like manifestation is to be very clear and specific on what it is that we want. And we can also, we also want to tie this to a feeling. So even if you're not very specific on, for example, say you want to manifest
00:14:03
Speaker
like a career that feels really good and really aligned. You're using your gifts and you're being fulfilled and you're earning an income that feels really good to you. Maybe you don't need to be so specific on knowing exactly what the job title is unless you want to, but if we can tie it to a feeling and know exactly how we want to feel when we want to call this thing in, that can be very, very helpful.
00:14:31
Speaker
Um, and also if you do know the exact job title, like that would be perfect as well. Um, the next thing we want to do is expect that it is ours. So like expect that it's going to happen, like expect that it's going to happen or.
00:14:47
Speaker
something better. So it's like, yes, this, or something better. Basically, when we expect that something is happening, we're tapping into the law of assumption, where we're assuming, and that's a universal spiritual law, we're assuming that what we're expecting is going to happen. So we want to expect the best case scenario that we're going to get it, achieve it, receive it. And we need to take the proper actions.
00:15:15
Speaker
for this to happen, right? So we're going to co-create with the universe. We can't just tell the universe like our order and then be like, okay, I'll wait for that. It's like, yes, and we also need to do the things to put ourselves in the right place at the right time to be taking the steps to be putting in the work. Like we do also need to put in work for the things that we want, right?
00:15:41
Speaker
So what I love to do is, so again, being very clear and specific, expecting that it's ours, taking the actions that we need to achieve it, and also a little beautiful cherry on top is if we can tie it into a greater good for all, this is where the universe is also going to make things probably happen a little bit faster. Because if it's not only benefiting you, but it's benefiting multiple other souls, other beings,
00:16:08
Speaker
then this is where it's like the universe wants that, like the universe wants us to make things happen that are going to be good for the benefit of all. So if, for example, if you're thinking of like, okay, I want to manifest the perfect career because A, I want to feel fulfilled. B, I want to make a lot of money.
Principles of Manifestation
00:16:27
Speaker
C, I want to share my gifts with the world.
00:16:31
Speaker
And D, I want to be able to help people. I want to help people with X, Y, and Z in whatever way that looks like. And again, that can literally be in any freaking industry. It could literally be even selling bedsheets because somebody just wants to have really soft, beautiful, aesthetically pleasing sheets on their bed.
00:16:54
Speaker
is very specific and that is something that could benefit many people. So, yes. Okay. So now where it gets fun is this is where I love to incorporate all of the tools and modalities that I love to work with because this is going to help us get those manifestations and desires
00:17:16
Speaker
and ensure that they're aligned and that it just happens so much faster. Because we can get very clear and specific. We can tie it into a greater good for all. We can expect it to be ours. We can take the action that we need to achieve it. But there are some pitfalls that we can fall into. For example, we can take action
00:17:38
Speaker
and just be taking all of the action and like going crazy, taking action and see like, why is nothing happening? Like my manifestation is not coming. Well, we might be taking the wrong type of action. So if we tune into our human design strategy, right, which is the way that we are designed based on our human design type to take aligned action, that is going to help us be in the right place at the right time, meet the right people, be in the correct energy.
00:18:04
Speaker
to receive what it is that we want to receive. And so, for example, generators. Generators, their strategy for taking a line to action is to wait to respond to whatever lights up their state girl. So if I, and I've experienced this so many times, for example, say I want to
00:18:27
Speaker
create a program, an offering that is going to help so many people. I'm expecting that it's going to be great. I'm expecting that I'm going to enroll X amount of people. I'm going to take all the actions needed to make it happen, but then say it's not happening.
Overcoming Limiting Beliefs
00:18:43
Speaker
Maybe that's because I created the whole thing out of a root pressure to hurry up and put it out there as fast as possible.
00:18:55
Speaker
Maybe I created it from a place of lack of worthiness from my undefined will center, right? It's like, oh, I feel like I need to include all of these things to prove that it's a great program.
00:19:09
Speaker
where it just made it confusing for people. And like, you know, or maybe I sat down and I was like, okay, I'm just going to sit down and like force myself to like create it all in one day. And it's like coming from an unaligned place because I'm not actually responding to anything. Whereas if I was to like have this idea of like, okay, I have this idea of a program I want to create, I know that it's for the greater good of all. I know it can really help people. I know that, um,
00:19:35
Speaker
it can be successful i'm expecting it to be now when it comes to taking the action if i was to work on it when i feel inspired and when i am like responding to something that i'm seeing in my outside reality it's not just me sitting down at a computer and creating this program in 24 hours from my mind.
00:19:54
Speaker
Okay, because again, that's coming from my mind. It's not aligned. And that's why it's just not going to resonate. It's not a soul aligned program. But if I was to create it from things I'm responding to in my everyday life, I'm like, Oh my God, like, wow, that gave me like such a great idea from seeing that. And then, Oh my God, that makes me think of like this or
00:20:15
Speaker
getting feedback when I do readings from people and seeing like the questions that they have. I'm like, oh my God, like, yeah, like you're wondering about this, this and this. Wow. I can like tie that into the program. And so it's like really responding and then all of the types. So like whatever human design type you have, you can look at your strategy and then make sure that you're taking action from that sort of place. Okay. And then that way you're not just in a place of like taking all the action and literally nothing's happening. Okay.
00:20:43
Speaker
Now, the next reason that things might not be happening is because we can be very clear and specific. We can tie it to a greater good of all. We can take the action, even if it's like a line action, but
00:20:54
Speaker
There might be certain parts of us that aren't expecting that it's going to work out, right? There might be certain parts of us that are worrying or that are, yeah, like worried that it's not going to happen. And what are those? Those are simply limiting beliefs, right? Like, oh my God, like, okay, I'm so excited to create this program. I know it's going to help other people.
00:21:15
Speaker
I'm taking the actions I need to create it, put it out there. But a part of me is feeling resistance. And I feel like, what if nobody wants it? What if this can actually help people? What if what I have to say in the program isn't helpful? What if it's a failure? And then that's where I start to get into all of the limiting beliefs of like, oh, it's not good enough. I don't know enough. It's not valuable enough.
00:21:44
Speaker
Yeah. Like all of those, those limiting beliefs that come up, right? Now I can like push those down and I've done this so many times in the past. So I can like think of those and it's even in my conscious mind, but I can be like, no, no, no, don't think about that. Like don't think about that. Of course it's good, right? And then maybe I can say some affirmations or I can do some, try to do some things to like make me forget about those fears that I have. But at the end of the day, they're still there.
00:22:10
Speaker
And at the end of the day, my subconscious is running off of those old fears and of those old programs. So no matter how hard I try to hope for the best or share the program, if I still, if there's still any trace of a program running in my subconscious mind that believes that it's not going to be successful, especially when I created it, right? Like there's this really beautiful Jean Key
00:22:41
Speaker
Oh my gosh, I'm not even going to remember which one it is right now. And it's funny because I have it. But there's this really beautiful gene queue where essentially anything that we create that has any hint of fear or any hint of it not being successful, in the end, it will not be successful. So it's very important, the energy that we're in when we're creating something.
00:23:06
Speaker
So that is why it's super important to have the mindset tools and to do the mindset work and to look at any of those things that are coming up before we're even creating the thing that we want to create. Because if we're creating from a place with those running in the background and it's no fault of our own, it's just like it just is the human experience, then that is going to impact
00:23:31
Speaker
this manifestation that we're bringing to life, right? So that is why I love doing subconscious rewiring work to pull up those beliefs and then install a new belief. Okay. This is also like energy work. It's like, but it's very specific, like mindset, subconscious mindset work, and then also energy work. It's like bringing up all of those beliefs up to the surface.
00:23:56
Speaker
And like doing this with someone, whether you're doing this alone or whether you're working with a coach or a healer, whoever you feel comfortable with, it's very important to bring them all up. So you want to feel like you're, you want to be in a safe space to feel comfortable bringing them all up because this is also very vulnerable and scary to admit. It's scary to admit like, wait, I'm supposed to be this
00:24:18
Speaker
Coach I'm supposed to be this healer I'm supposed to be this person that's helping other people work through their stuff so like Why do I have my own doubts and insecurities like I shouldn't have those so I'm gonna push them down pretend like they're not there but then that is what is causing us to not have these things in
00:24:37
Speaker
be successful because we're running off of these subconscious programs that we don't want to look at because we're scared to look at them. What would that mean about us? That right there is just a story. That right there is just a complete story and a complete lie because literally all of us, it is a human experience. All of us have these programs that we're running off of, these old faulty programs. All we need to do is literally acknowledge them, have awareness around them, bring awareness around them, pull them up to the surface,
00:25:08
Speaker
Okay, look at it, use certain tools to rewrite it, right? And to switch it out, install the new one, and that's it. And then the subconscious can go off of this new program and literally draw in
00:25:26
Speaker
all of the help that we need to make it happen. It will literally, we're going to start taking action from that place. Things are going to become easier and that's where there's, that's where there becomes flow and the resistance is gone. Okay. Because it's so hard to create goals and manifestations when we have so much resistance inside, whether we're conscious of it or not. And most of the time we're conscious of it. It's like, there's something you just can't put your finger on it, but you're like, Oh, why do I feel like I want this so bad? But a part of me is like, Oh, like I don't know. Like, I don't know if I can hold it. I don't know.
00:25:54
Speaker
Is this going to create too much responsibility? Is this going to create too much work? Is this going to create whatever the stories are that are making us resistance towards success? Yes. That's why I love doing subconscious work to remove those. Then the other part of that is having tools and using tools for
00:26:21
Speaker
helping when the anxiety comes up, like the anxiety of the outcome comes up. Because another huge thing that can happen is like we have these really big goals, like we're allowing ourselves to go there, we're having these huge streams, we're changing our mindset, right? We're rewiring our subconscious to like expect the best case scenario, but then there can still be like anxiety and nervousness that comes up around like actually achieving the outcome.
Managing Anxiety for Manifestation
00:26:46
Speaker
And so that's where we can do use different tools to work on
00:26:50
Speaker
the anxiety, to remove the anxiety. And then also doing different tools to help with nervous system regulation. Because oftentimes, that just means that we feel unsafe in our body. That's where we're feeling this anxious feeling is because we feel unsafe, we don't feel like we're able to hold it. So that's where you can do nervous system regulation work to
00:27:11
Speaker
start to feel safe in your body and just make it normalized. And it's like, okay, like I'm actually super excited for this to happen. But again, if we try to ignore that, if we try to ignore the fact that we feel anxious about something that's also acting as a repellent, that is just keeping the manifestation away from us. Like our subconscious mind is going to be like, no, like that makes me feel very anxious. I don't want that. So it's going to do everything I can to not make it happen, to block it, to create, um,
00:27:38
Speaker
to create, what is the word that we do? What is that saying that we do? Oh my goodness. Whatever it is where we basically like block our abundance and we like do sabotage. We're basically self-sabotage unconsciously. So yeah, so that is why
00:28:06
Speaker
I love adding these modalities and very specific tools to the goal setting and manifestation process because I have found that without these, it is almost for me, it has been impossible to achieve certain things.
Personal Success Stories
00:28:22
Speaker
Certain things where I didn't have so much resistance and limited beliefs, I've been able to manifest like crazy. For example,
00:28:32
Speaker
Honestly, so many things I've been able to manifest and following the steps of manifestation without even realizing I was manifesting it because I didn't have any negative beliefs holding me back yet. For example, when I was younger, I would honestly win contests a lot. One huge example is in middle school, there's this contest to win this limo ride, to win this limousine ride.
00:28:58
Speaker
And I just knew I was going to win it. Like I put my name on the little ticket and I was like, Oh, I'm going to win that for my birthday. And I just knew, right? That's like kind of like that law of assumption. I just expected I was going to come. I was very clear and specific of how I was going to use it. I was like, Oh, I'm going to use that limo ride for my whatever birthday. We're going to go to the mall, maybe go to like dinner or something. And it's going to be like, I could already envision the friends that I was going to take with me. And I was like, Oh yeah, for sure. Like I'm going to win it. So it was like very clear and specific.
00:29:25
Speaker
I tied it to a greater good of all because I was like, these are the friends I'm going to take with me. They're all going to benefit from it. I expected it was mine. Like I already knew I was going to win. And then I took the action needed to achieve it of just like entering the contest, right?
00:29:38
Speaker
And I was so like delusional that I was going to win that when they were, it was during lunch, I will never forget it. It was like during lunch in middle school and they were like, okay, like we're going to announce the winner of like the limousine trip. And as they were like drawing the ticket, I was so nervous. I already started feeling nervous and like embarrassed, embarrassment of like them calling my name because I just knew they were going to call my name. And I was like, Oh, this is going to be so embarrassing. Like calling my name in front of everybody in the media, like going and like,
00:30:06
Speaker
like you know receiving it in front of everybody i was like i don't want to be the center of attention that's so embarrassing and sure enough i won and then i literally walked up there embarrassed and like got the the gift certificate or whatever and then i used it for the exact thing that i was going to use it for for my birthday with those exact group of friends we went to the mall
00:30:26
Speaker
uh to go shopping and then like went to eat and it was just like it was so funny and and i didn't have any resistance so that's why it was so easy for me to win it you know like i didn't have any negative limiting beliefs of like oh i'm unworthy or
00:30:41
Speaker
I don't deserve that or anything that's unconscious that I was writing on. At that time of my life, I was still very in tune with my human design without obviously knowing what human design is, but I was very in tune with myself.
00:31:01
Speaker
I was a very happy kid. I hadn't really experienced really any trauma or any sort of anything really to affect my confidence until I moved after that in middle school. And I had completely new friends. I moved cross-country for my dad's work.
00:31:21
Speaker
So I really didn't have anything holding me back. And that's what's so cool about children is as children, we're innocent. We're innocent to the world until things start impacting us. Outside influences start impacting our confidence and our security within ourselves. And so yeah, I was a great manifesto. And then another great idea of this as well of really tying in, doing the actionable steps is I wanted to be a
00:31:48
Speaker
notary so bad. I wanted to become a licensed notary so that I could become a notary public loan signing agent and basically help people with their mortgages. For buying and selling homes, they need a notary to sign all the documents with the seller and the buyer.
00:32:09
Speaker
And notaries in California, I think they get paid like $15 per signature for just like standardized notary. But when you do signings, like loan signings for mortgages, I think it's like anywhere from, I think the standard rate is like $200. It's like on average, like $200 per signing if you're working directly with the escrow office.
00:32:37
Speaker
But if you're working for a signing agency, which is really cool for, this is just like a little shout out for anybody who wants to become a notary or if you are a notary, you can actually sign up for signing agencies where they basically like they put you together with the person that needs a notary. So they take part of the fee, but you can get anywhere from like probably as low as like $30 for like one signature to
00:33:01
Speaker
$80 to like $120. So anyways, long story short is I think this was in 2020. I wanted to start making more income and I, following my design, saw something about someone being a notary. And I was like, oh my God, that is so cool. I'm going to become a notary. So I literally, just from that response, I was like a sacral, fuck yes, let's do this. From that response, I literally watched all the YouTube videos of how to do signings.
00:33:30
Speaker
I signed up to work with a coach who taught me all about how to read different mortgage documents and loan documents. That specifically teaches notaries how to be loan signing agents. And then I signed up for the exam. And what's so crazy, you guys, is that there wasn't a test. I live in California. There wasn't a test available for three months out.
00:33:54
Speaker
But I found out that you can just show up and get on the waiting list as standby. And they say it's very hard to get in like that, but I was like, oh my God, I'm doing it. I don't care. So I studied so freaking hard in a very short period of time, that too genius, right? And I understood all of the freaking loan documents, which you don't need to know anything about mortgages or loan documents to pass a notary exam. A notary exam is very basic.
00:34:23
Speaker
the laws of notary. And so I was like, oh, I'm just going to crash the next exam and get on the standby list. And so I got on the standby list and I ended up getting in and I ended up passing my exam on the first try. And they also say that sometimes people have to take it like a couple of different times because it is kind of difficult
00:34:44
Speaker
But I was just so obsessed with studying. I wanted to be it so bad that I was like, oh, I'm going to do whatever the fuck it takes to become a frickin' notary. And so I passed it and I got my license. I was so excited. I ordered my stamp. I ordered all the stuff that I needed to do. And then I signed up for every single signing agency that there was so that I could
00:35:05
Speaker
get on like signing lists and then I became a notary and then I became a loan signing agent and I did loan signings for people with their mortgages and it was crazy and it was really fulfilling also super nerve wracking because this is someone's like biggest purchase or biggest sell sale of their life and so
00:35:23
Speaker
It's up to us to really make sure that the documents are in order and they're signing properly. It was also really fun to learn all about that and understand how the mortgage industry works. But anyways, I did all of that and then I think I probably only did five or six signings. Then I realized it was actually really hard to do that with a full-time job because most people want to do it during business hours, pretty much nine to five and I work
00:35:50
Speaker
at those times. I even like went on my lunch break once, like an extended lunch break to do a signing in Oceanside or something, which was like the craziest shit ever because it took a long time. I remember it was this older lady who
00:36:07
Speaker
poor girl she couldn't even she like didn't have her she didn't have her license or something some something like she couldn't find her ID and it was just like this huge thing that ended up taking a really long time and I was like I can't do this like I can't take a lunch and jeopardize my job in case like these go over you know so I kind of like gave up but I still get the text messages sometimes to do them anyways sorry that was like a huge tangent but I
00:36:35
Speaker
This is my point. I had the goal or the manifestation that I wanted to become a freaking Loan Signing Agent. So what did I do? I became very clear and specific of like, oh, I want to become this and I want to do it as fast as possible. I tied it to the greater good of saying, hey, I'm going to help people have a great experience when they're selling or buying a home. And then I just knew it was mine. I was like, oh, all I have to do is literally study and then pass the test 100% so easy.
00:37:01
Speaker
and then I took all the actions that I needed to do to get it. Studying, getting a mentor, paying for a program to literally learn how to read these documents. Honestly, that's what helped me so much and that's why I believe so much in paying for education. We pay for what we get for it. That's why I love taking courses and programs because it was a freaking shortcut to mastery.
00:37:28
Speaker
learned how to understand these documents by me just trying to figure out myself would be so hard. He did mock signings for us and showed us exactly how he sets it up, where he puts his pen, where he puts his stamp, where he sits with the customer, how he introduces himself. It was just so badass.
00:37:43
Speaker
Yes. And then I also took the action of crashing the test and saying, you know what universe, I'm not waiting three months for a test. I'm going to be on standby, even if they say it's impossible and I'm going to make it happen. And I made it happen. And the universe helps us and the universe makes things happen faster for us when we have that sort of like dedication and that sort of like wholehearted, like this is what the hell I want, but we have to be very clear and specific. Okay.
Manifestation and Recruitment
00:38:09
Speaker
So now really quickly, I just want to talk about,
00:38:14
Speaker
I want to tie this into recruiting you guys, because honestly, this has been freaking mind blowing for me. And it's like a parallel that I think is very obvious. And it really breaks it down to understand why it's so important for specifically the step of why do we need to be clear and specific about what we want. So I like to draw the parallel of just going to get peanut up here. Peanut wants to be on my lap. Come on.
00:38:46
Speaker
Come on. Let me just, sorry guys, I'm just gonna put, okay. Peanut's joining us on my lap. Say hi, Peanut. Just kidding, he can't say hi. But he did say hi to you guys. Okay, think about it like this. I'm a recruiter, right? And one of the first questions after I do my knockout questions for a candidate is like, oh, why do you want to work with us? Like, why are you interested in a position with us?
00:39:16
Speaker
And the people who say, oh, you know, I'm just looking for a job. I've been applying to a lot of places. Just need to work. Do you think that they get any further in that interview? Right? Like, absolutely not. Absolutely not. If somebody is just looking for a job,
00:39:39
Speaker
The chances of them staying with us long term is so slim. They're going to keep jumping ship. This is probably just the first person that has called them on their many lists of places that they have applied to. They probably don't know anything about our company. They probably don't know what they're getting into in the position. They probably don't know how hard of work it is. They probably don't know that there is a huge process that you have to learn and be trained for. They probably don't know that
00:40:05
Speaker
It's huge customer service entailed. When they just see automotive, they probably just think working on cars, but they don't understand that you're going to be customer facing. So just all of these red flags, right? And they absolutely do not get farther than that. I'll wrap it up with a few other questions. But when I ask a candidate, oh, why do you want to work for us? What makes you interested in working here? And they're like, oh my god. And it's also their energy, OK? Notice the difference.
00:40:34
Speaker
Oh my God. Okay. So I have loved cars my whole life or, Oh my God, I just started learning about cars and I'm really excited to like just learn more about it and like develop this skill. And I saw that you guys have a really great training program and like no automotive experience is required. And I would just love to like learn it or, Oh my God, I've been a customer for years. I love the culture that you guys have. I want to be part of a team. I just love how everybody interacts with each other or
00:41:03
Speaker
Oh my God, I saw the growth opportunities and I'm really looking to like grow a career with somewhere and I just really want to invest in a company that's stable and that is investing back in me and growth and somewhere where I can really grow and evolve with and like, you see the difference of like somebody who knows exactly what they want and it's very specific as to why they're applying to my company as opposed to someone who's just like, oh, I just want a job. Honestly, you're the first person that called me.
00:41:33
Speaker
It's like, bitch, like, oh my God, right? And so that's what the universe is saying when we want something, okay? When we want a manifestation, a certain goal, when we want to call something in, if first of all, if we're confused as hell about what we want ourselves, the universe doesn't know what we want either. And the universe will be like, girl, get the hell out of here. Like, I don't even know, like don't come at me with that energy, you know? Or if we come at it with the energy of like,
00:41:59
Speaker
Like we want something specific, but even if, but if the energy is just like, I guess I want this and we're not convicted in it and we're willing to just like give it up for something else that comes by that might be like not as good, but we'll take it. It's like, where is our energy? Like, where's our energy at and where is our specificity? So when we are very specific and clear about what we want,
00:42:23
Speaker
The universe is like, girl, come here. I got something for you. I love when candidates tell me, oh my God, I love blah, blah, blah company. I've been thinking about it for a really long time and I really just want to grow and learn. Anytime someone says grow, learn, growth opportunities, moving up.
00:42:48
Speaker
learning a new skill. I'm excited to just like learn anything like that. I'm like, girl, say less. Or boy, say less because most of the time it's more boys. But I do love when we get females to apply. But yeah, so see the difference. And that's why I really think the universe is like
00:43:07
Speaker
And we think, I know this from my past experiences with manifesting things that haven't come to fruition. It's like sometimes we're scared to be specific about what we want or we don't know what we want. And so this is leading me real quick. We're going to come back to the recruiting little difference in a second, but this is setting me into the part where I want to talk about why don't we actually set goals? Why do people not set goals? Why do people not try to manifest things?
00:43:38
Speaker
and have four things that I wrote down. Number one, they don't know what they want, okay? They don't know what they want. So that's like the person that's like calling me and saying like, oh, yeah, I just, I don't know. I need a job. I need a paycheck. Oh, I really need to make money. Okay, that's definitely not gonna be a fit because this job is very freaking involved. And so it's like, if we don't know what we want and we're willing to accept anything,
00:44:04
Speaker
then the universe isn't going to give us what we actually want. It's confusing. The energy is scattered. The energy is watered down. The energy is lukewarm. It's very like, oh, I could have this or I could have that. I don't really care. It's apathetic. The universe is not going to support apathy. The universe is going to support freaking clear
00:44:27
Speaker
Desire asks. Clear conviction. Clear like this is what I want and there's nothing else that I want. So like when things test us, we don't accept them because like no, like I want this. That energy is so attractive. Like that energy of someone knowing exactly what they want and like bringing that
00:44:47
Speaker
clarity is so attractive and the universe knows that as well.
Overcoming Fears in Manifestation
00:44:52
Speaker
So if somebody is in the place where they don't know what they want, the way that they can get around that is allowing yourself to dream. Okay. So allow yourself to imagine, tap into the things that you used to like as a child, tap into how do you want to feel? Even if you don't know exactly what you want, it's like, well, how do you want to feel? What would your ideal dream day look like?
00:45:14
Speaker
and really allowing yourself to go there before the stories and the negative thoughts set in of like, oh, that's not possible. How would that happen? That's just like, you know what I mean? So really just allowing yourself to go there. Just make it fun. Like make it an imagination trip. It's like, oh, I'm going to go on this trip and just imagine.
00:45:40
Speaker
What's the coolest shit that I could ever want? And really dive into that. What is the coolest shit that I could ever want if I knew that I was going to get it? And if I knew that the answer was yes, and I knew if it was going to come to me, what would it be? Because we need to know what we want. That is attractive. That is sacral energy. That is powerful. That is decisive. We want to be decisive. We don't want to be indecisive. And I know that it's so hard to be decisive if we don't know what we want.
00:46:11
Speaker
So allowing ourselves to dream, allowing ourselves to imagine is going to be the key. The second reason that people don't set goals, and I've been there too, is because we don't believe that we can succeed. Either we don't believe we can succeed because we've never done it before, which is like very obvious to the human experience, or maybe we've tried in the past and have failed.
00:46:33
Speaker
Okay. So maybe we've tried in the past and we failed. And so now we're kind of scared to like put ourselves out there and set goals again. Or maybe we haven't even seen anyone else do it. And so we're like, I don't even think that's possible. Like I've never seen someone do that in my life. I've never done it. And so it's really out of my scope of possibility. Or also you have this idea, you have this goal, you have this stream, this manifestation. You did believe you could do it.
00:46:59
Speaker
but then you shared it with maybe like a friend or a family member appear and they projected their fear onto you and made it seem like it was impossible because they're just projecting their own limitations onto you. Okay, so the way to get out of this experience of not believing that we can succeed. So one, find expanders. So find people who have the life that you want. Find people who are doing the things that you want to do. Find people who
00:47:29
Speaker
have achieved what you want to achieve and start making that your new normal. Start seeing that as like, oh my God, if they can do it, then I can absolutely do it. There's literally nothing different between them and you. Literally nothing. Anything that you want that somebody else has is 100% possible for you and that's just showing you that it's possible for you.
00:47:53
Speaker
have taken action to get it. They were very clear about what they want. They took the action to get it. And they worked through all of those limitations that came up when they started fearing it or when they started feeling like resistance towards it, right? So get expanders. The third reason why we don't actually set goals for what we want is we feel guilty for wanting it. Okay, so
00:48:18
Speaker
we might feel like, oh my God, who am I to want that?
Service and Abundance Mindset
00:48:24
Speaker
That's a little selfish. The state of the world is shitty right now. I feel bad for really aspiring to this big, juicy dream or goal when other people in this world are suffering. Especially as empaths, especially as spiritual people, it's very easy to fall into this one of feeling guilty for wanting X, Y, and Z.
00:48:49
Speaker
But the way to move around this is to know that this is an abundant universe. Like the universe wants you to be abundant. There is more than enough to go around. You can literally have anything that you want. And a way to really anchor this in to move through the guilt is to do that thing where I said tie it into
00:49:16
Speaker
it being of the greatest service to others. So whatever your manifestation or goal is, how can you just add in and tie in a little caveat to like, oh, when I get this, this will also be the best, greatest benefit for others. So it's like, maybe you make a lot of money. We need people that make a lot of money and are wealthy that are good people to do good things with those monies, right? Those monies.
00:49:46
Speaker
but you know what I'm talking about. Or like, think about all of the people who would benefit from you getting this desire or this goal. And it can be people in your immediate family. It could be your friends. It could be your clients. It could be strangers, like literally. Just think about all the people that's benefited. It could even just be people seeing you get it is now you're becoming an expander to them, which is helping them raise their possibility in their mind. That enough right there is already good enough as tying that into helping somebody else, right?
00:50:16
Speaker
Okay. The last reason is that people not actually setting goals is being afraid of following through. Okay. This is huge. So this one has been huge for me too. It's like, there's a lot of reasons of why we're afraid to follow through. It's A again, like maybe we feel like it's pointless because it hasn't worked in the past, or maybe it's because
00:50:39
Speaker
our energy has dipped in the past because we haven't really been aligned with our design. So we've been taking action from an underlying place that actually isn't energetically sustainable. And so we don't want to feel burnt out again. Maybe we are, um, maybe those limiting beliefs and fears just keep popping up and it's overwhelming. And so we just give into them. And so we just like don't try anymore. And I've done that so many times too, like so many times. Oh my gosh, you guys even, um,
00:51:09
Speaker
I even did this recently when I had created a master class all about the gene keys. Which one was it? I created a master class all about how to find your purpose through the gene keys, like the activation sequence.
00:51:31
Speaker
like nobody had signed up like two weeks before I was about to post like before I was about to go live and I got so in my own head of like limiting beliefs of feeling like a failure feeling like nobody's gonna come that I like never talked about it I just like actually even from the beginning I think I only talked about it like one time and I realized that because when I created that
00:51:52
Speaker
I was already in a limiting mind space of like, oh, nobody actually wants
Energy Alignment and Action
00:51:58
Speaker
this. Nobody knows what the jinkies are or nobody cares. Probably nobody's going to see the value in this and probably nobody's going to come. That was an unconscious belief that I had, I think when I created it, which is why I set myself up for failure. This is just showing a really real example of how this happens all the time. I just stopped talking about it and then of course nobody signed up because I never mentioned it again.
00:52:21
Speaker
And then, yeah, just like I didn't do it. And so a great way to move through this is to have those tools and to do that mindset work. And so I even do this on myself, you know, it's like going forward. Like I know that I have this in my bag now to do next time. Also having accountability.
00:52:43
Speaker
and actual timelines and measurable goals to go back to. Because the thing that I also did with this is like, I didn't really set up a timeline or I didn't really plan for it. I wasn't taking the actionable steps of like, okay, I'm going to talk about it this amount of times, or I'm going to invite, I'm going to reach out and invite people to it, or I'm going to share it to blah, blah, blah, blah spaces, right?
00:53:09
Speaker
And I didn't really set it up in that way. It was kind of just like a really fast thing that I put out because I had loved the one that I did for Emily the Mystics membership when I did the Love and Relationships, Jean Keys,
00:53:22
Speaker
workshop. Like I freaking love that workshop so much. And I was so obsessed with it. And I loved, I feel like they really liked it too. So then I kind of like very quickly put out this other one without actually like taking the time and a response to do it. It was more of like a mind thing. Um, so yeah, the Energex behind it just like weren't good, but I just want to give you like a very like relatable, vulnerable, like example of like this happens to me too. Like, so
00:53:50
Speaker
Anyways, and I know that I'm going to put it out again in the future because I think it really will be.
00:53:56
Speaker
Um, super helpful for people, but yeah, it's just one of those things. And then also like, Oh my God, a live masterclass. You know, like I feel so good doing a podcast because I'm in my own energy, but, and like, I love doing readings like one-to-one. I'm really good with like one-on-one, but then for some reason I get super nervous sometimes when I'm like, Oh, I don't know like how many people are going to come live or like what the dynamics is going to be like, even though what I already do it, it's like so good.
00:54:24
Speaker
So now I know that I have these tools that I can do to help with anxiety, to help with the nervous system regulation. So yeah, so those are the things that I just wanted to say, like why people don't actually set goals or have clear manifestations. So going back really quick to the recruiting thing, it's like, okay, so I love when people are very specific and very clear about what they want. And I'm like, oh yeah, you're definitely moving forward.
00:54:52
Speaker
Another thing that really helps is when people are like, Oh, I really want to help people like, Oh, I have great customer service. Like I really want to like help people understand what's going on with their vehicles, or I really want to be a part of a team and just like make the team better and like really contribute. And like all of that is for the greater good. So they're tying it to the greater good of all. And I'm like, Oh yes. Checkmark candidate moving forward. That's like, it's like me as the universe.
00:55:22
Speaker
conspiring with them to get the job, right? And the job is like the manifestation or the goal. The next great thing is taking the actions you did to achieve it. So some people apply and they don't include a resume. Even those are very specific spots to upload your resume. They don't put any, like they don't fill out any of like the work history. They don't put anything in there. They just literally put their name, address, and like phone number.
00:55:49
Speaker
And guess what? Those applications are shit. Like those are the ones that I'm like, I'm sorry. I should, I don't know if I should be saying this, that these, their applications are shit. Their applications, their applications aren't shit, but it's like, I'm looking for the candidate who took the time to upload their resume. All you have to do is fricking file upload, right? And if you're a job seeker, you should have an active resume. Like you should, if you want to get the job. So having an active resume,
00:56:16
Speaker
filling in the work history, like actually taking the time to fill it in. I know these people actually want the job. It's not just somebody who's applying to like 30 jobs and like, Hey, God bless you. If you want to apply to 30 jobs, great. Good luck getting something or getting like a high quality one that you actually want because I mean, I'm just going to tell you as a recruiter, we look at these things and it does not look good. It doesn't look good when you're not filling it out properly, right?
00:56:41
Speaker
So that's like me in the universe saying like, Oh, wow, they're taking the actions needed to achieve this. They're working with me, right? They're not just expecting me to do all the work. They're not just expecting me to read their mind and Oh, let me see. Are you even qualified
00:56:56
Speaker
to move forward with the initial interview with me knowing absolutely nothing about you, right? It's like, they're not working with me. They're making my life very difficult. And it's like, that's, I mean, it's just not helping you with the amount of applicants, right? If you want to be successful and really stick out, there's certain actions that you need to take, like uploading a resume and filling out your work history, right?
00:57:25
Speaker
So yeah, so those are, that's just kind of some examples. Some other really great things is like, um, I love when it used to bother me, but I, I've learned to love it when candidates call me and like reach out to me and say like, Hey, I put in my resume. I just wanted to see if you have time to go over that. Like I know when I used to be in a store as a manager and they would call the store, it was very frustrating because we were so busy and I was like, you're literally pulling me away from what I'm doing right now. And I didn't like it, but I've really learned that,
00:57:53
Speaker
As a recruiter, you know, it's different. Like I'm in an office and like, yeah, it might throw me off of whatever I'm doing, but I will take the call and at least like write down their name. And if I don't want to look it up right away, like if I'm in the middle of something, I'll just set a strong boundary and say like, Hey, like, thank you so much for calling.
00:58:08
Speaker
let me get your name. When I'm going over your application, I'll give you a callback." And then I note that, and that's somebody that I definitely want to put on high priority to call back, even maybe before going through all of the other applications in order, because they're calling. And that's another action that they're taking to say, hey, I'm really interested in this position. Hey, universe, I really want this. I'm showing

I'm going above and beyond. I'm putting myself out there. Things like that. I feel like that's when we do those things. The universe is like, wow, they really want this. They're really on top of their stuff. Let me put them in the right place at the right time with the right people.
00:58:47
Speaker
And yeah, that's my little comparison between like the recruiting and like manifestation, getting the job, getting our desires, the universe recruiter. It's very similar. And I think about it all the time. I'm like, wow, like, and the other thing you guys is the vibration. Let's not forget about the vibration that we're in when we are calling in what we're attracting. Let's talk about energy. Like, so I'm a feeler, right? I'm a feeler. I sense things auditorily, like through tone of voice and through like the energetics of the voice. And I,
00:59:18
Speaker
and very empathic. So I'm picking up on your energy within like 10 seconds, like literally 10 seconds. Um, when I reach out to people, it's like, how are they answering the phone? Like what is their energy? Does it shift when they know who I am? Like that's totally fine. You know, it's like, you might think I'm like a, um, you might think I'm like a,
00:59:42
Speaker
debt collector or something. Obviously, you're not going to be super happy to receive this phone call, but then once you find out who I am and where I'm calling from, if your energy shifts up, you're excited, you're welcoming, you're happy, then hey, awesome. Your energy is great, but if I express who I am, why I'm calling, and you're talking to me in a tone of I'm interrupting you or I'm
01:00:07
Speaker
inconveniencing your life, what I'm calling to follow up on a job application that you put in, then I'm like, okay, this is energies interesting, right? Or if it's just very monotone, if it's just very uninterested, it's like, everything is energy. And so I think it's very important that when we are manifesting or setting our goals, that we keep our vibrations high. And it just aligns us to the correct opportunities. Like
01:00:32
Speaker
I have to look at energy because a huge part of the position that I'm hiring for is also very customer service related, or at least I need to see you having the potential to be customer facing and to be a leader and to be a management. I'm hiring for entry-level auto tech, but really in my mind, I'm hiring for a senior technician, which is the entry-level to management position.
01:00:57
Speaker
we grow 100% and promote from within. So if I can't hear leadership quality in your voice or potential, if you don't sound like a person, like a great person to be around, a person who loves people and loves interacting, then it's not gonna be a fit. So I think the same thing happens for us. It's like, what is our vibration? And are we actually a match to the thing? And hey, they might be a perfect fit for jobs where
01:01:24
Speaker
It doesn't matter if you don't like to be around people. If you don't like to be around people in certain jobs, that's great. That's not a prerequisite. That energy can be a perfect match. But unfortunately, if you want to have a very successful customer-facing business, you need to be hiring for people who love interacting with people.
01:01:45
Speaker
Right? Like I absolutely will not hire somebody who doesn't love to be around people if that is a huge part of the position, right? Because we want our business to be super successful and to make everyone feel very welcome. And then also it's not a fit for them, right? Like why would I want somebody who is so outside of their character or so outside of their zone of alignment, right?
01:02:10
Speaker
maybe their energy is just better suited for a different type of work, which is perfect. And then it's like, it's almost going against what is in alignment for them. If I was to bring on somebody who just wasn't a fit because it's only going to waste their time and they're not going to be happy or excited about it. So it's like, I'd rather get someone who's really excited for the job, really freaking enthusiastic. They really want this. And then it's just going to be a fit for everybody.
Recap and Conclusion
01:02:35
Speaker
So yay, that was it. I hope that was helpful. Ooh, it was like 101, 44 on the clock, so angel numbers. Yay, so I hope this episode was helpful. Again, anytime that we are manifesting or like setting a goal, it's just super important that we are clear and specific, tie it to a greater good for all, expect that it's ours, and take the action needed to achieve it.
01:03:01
Speaker
And then the secret juice, secret sauce is to like tune into your design, make sure that you're using your strategy to take a line to action in your human design.
01:03:11
Speaker
you know, do subconscious rewiring work, remove any anxiety of outcomes, and like do nervous system regulation work to really like anchor it into your body and feel safe. So yeah, oh my gosh, I hope that was helpful. And literally, that is everything that we do when you work with me long term one to one, like for one to one mentorship, we use all of your
01:03:36
Speaker
freaking cheat codes, right? Your human design, your jinkies, we do subconscious rewiring, we do healing, we do Akashic Records healing, and like tap into your Akashic Records, we do, we set achievable goals, like all of these things all wrapped around like a certain goal or a certain manifestation that you want to have.
01:03:55
Speaker
and we literally bring it to pass. And it's so good having accountability and support when you go through those freaking dips and those like limitations and limiting beliefs because girl, they are going to come up. So just being in community and having somebody who like understands the freaking struggle but also knows exactly how to simply go in, do the mindset work, do the shifts so we can get your energy back on track is literally life changing. So yeah, and then if you want,
