Introduction and Themes

Speaker
Bigger talks, bigger talks.
00:00:02
Speaker
I'm back once again with an IG live chat and discussion.
00:00:07
Speaker
And I have the beautiful, the Women Empowerment Coach podcast host and author.
00:00:15
Speaker
Gina, the V, baby, is on today.
00:00:19
Speaker
And we're going to talk about what it's like to be queen, mindset, women empowerment, being a boss lady, and just really going after your dreams and aspirations and just getting to

Gina's Personal Journey

00:00:33
Speaker
it.
00:00:33
Speaker
So she'll be on here soon.
00:00:34
Speaker
Oh, there she is.
00:00:35
Speaker
Hey, Gina.
00:00:40
Speaker
Hello.
00:00:41
Speaker
Wendy, how are ya?
00:00:43
Speaker
Excellent, excellent.
00:00:45
Speaker
So happy to be here.
00:00:46
Speaker
Yes, yes, I'm happy to have you.
00:00:48
Speaker
How you feeling?
00:00:49
Speaker
How are you today?
00:00:51
Speaker
It's a beautiful day.
00:00:52
Speaker
It's a beautiful day.
00:00:53
Speaker
Grateful for every day and grateful for like connections.
00:00:57
Speaker
I think that people are just loving, like talking to each other and being in relationship again.
00:01:03
Speaker
So, so delighted to be here with you.
00:01:06
Speaker
Yes, by the way, you are powerful.
00:01:10
Speaker
And I love your women were not busy were intentional.
00:01:16
Speaker
Yeah.
00:01:17
Speaker
Yes.
00:01:17
Speaker
You talked about that.
00:01:20
Speaker
Being seen as a woman being visible.
00:01:23
Speaker
But before we get into that, let's talk about you and like what got you into this space of women empowerment, women development, the audacity to be queen.
00:01:32
Speaker
What is that all about?
00:01:34
Speaker
What sparked that interest for you to be living it, doing it and speaking on it the way you do?
00:01:39
Speaker
Yes, yes, yes.
00:01:40
Speaker
Thank you.
00:01:41
Speaker
Because I wasn't any of those things, and I wanted to be.
00:01:43
Speaker
That's where it

Life Transformation and Relocation

00:01:45
Speaker
starts.
00:01:45
Speaker
We teach what we want to learn, right?
00:01:48
Speaker
You know, I felt very invisible and very disempowered and unsure.
00:01:54
Speaker
And, you know, I've always been like an extroverted personality, but I...
00:01:59
Speaker
I really gave my power away a lot.
00:02:01
Speaker
I just thought that living a big life was for other people.
00:02:05
Speaker
And I sat on the sidelines a lot of my life until I really kind of owned my spiritual connection.
00:02:12
Speaker
And I was like, wait a minute.
00:02:14
Speaker
I say I'm spiritual.
00:02:15
Speaker
This isn't spiritual.
00:02:16
Speaker
Like God meant for all of us to live a great life and create us all for an important purpose.
00:02:21
Speaker
So I had to
00:02:23
Speaker
start doing for myself what I was kind of like waiting for other people to do, like see me, value me, hear me, prioritize me.
00:02:33
Speaker
And when I started to take more personal responsibility, everything in my life changed.
00:02:40
Speaker
That was a little bit of the background.
00:02:41
Speaker
I was a broke, struggling psychotherapist.
00:02:44
Speaker
I was $75,000 in debt, student loans, credit cards.
00:02:48
Speaker
And the only thing that made that worse was that I was 30 years old, living at home with my parents in the suburbs of Detroit.
00:02:54
Speaker
So, you know, like I just kind of had no life, but I had a big dream and I knew I needed to transform it.
00:03:02
Speaker
And I'm so grateful that certain people came into my life.
00:03:06
Speaker
So I got the tools to learn how to change my life.
00:03:09
Speaker
That's beautiful.
00:03:11
Speaker
Because, you know, a lot of times we see things, but we don't know how to acquire them.
00:03:16
Speaker
And we live in a world where there's a lot of human doing.
00:03:20
Speaker
Instead, it should be human being, right?
00:03:22
Speaker
How do we be it to become it and so we can live it?
00:03:26
Speaker
What with that being said, and that story, you know, psychotherapist, therapist, $75,000 in debt, living a home with parents, mom at 30 years old, what was like the turning point where you like, you know what,
00:03:40
Speaker
Like, was it a breakup?
00:03:42
Speaker
Was it, you know, you just got, like, what day, what moment?
00:03:45
Speaker
It just clicked.
00:03:46
Speaker
Like, you know what?
00:03:47
Speaker
Indicate I had some sort of life going on.
00:03:50
Speaker
No, there wasn't even that.
00:03:53
Speaker
I think this is the pathetic story is that I got home one Friday night and it was late.
00:04:00
Speaker
It was like 9 30, 10 o'clock.
00:04:02
Speaker
You know, I was working 75 hours a week.
00:04:04
Speaker
And because I was just taught like, if you want more money, you need to work harder.
00:04:08
Speaker
And I had all this debt I had to pay off.
00:04:10
Speaker
And
00:04:11
Speaker
I went home and I can't remember if it was like Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight.
00:04:15
Speaker
It was like one of those.
00:04:16
Speaker
And I was just like, everyone in L.A.
00:04:20
Speaker
is wealthy and beautiful.
00:04:22
Speaker
I'm out of here.
00:04:24
Speaker
It was like, I was just like, I can't graphical cure.
00:04:27
Speaker
Something had to give.
00:04:28
Speaker
Like I, you know, look at things weren't terrible.
00:04:32
Speaker
I was just not living a full life.
00:04:36
Speaker
And I was just like, I kind of didn't really have anything to lose and everything to gain.

The Audacity to be Queen - Book Discussion

00:04:41
Speaker
So I gave up my license as a therapist and scrounged together some quarters and drove across the country.
00:04:47
Speaker
And, you know, rather than being a broke, struggling psychotherapist in Detroit, I got to be a
00:04:53
Speaker
a broke life coach in LA until I started to learn how to get a business off the ground.
00:05:00
Speaker
Yeah, and that's important.
00:05:01
Speaker
You know, I want to point out if people listening and that will watch this and do the playback, if you listen to what she said, she removed herself from her environment.
00:05:12
Speaker
She changed locations and by changing locations, that changed her life.
00:05:18
Speaker
You know, that's what happened to me 11 years ago.
00:05:20
Speaker
I booked a one-way flight after college to come to LA.
00:05:23
Speaker
$1,000 to my name on the left.
00:05:26
Speaker
And I think it's those little intangible decisions that we don't think about.
00:05:32
Speaker
We don't really ponder on because we're looking at everything in our environment.
00:05:36
Speaker
But you made a decision.
00:05:38
Speaker
I always say when you make a decision, good things happen when you have faith.
00:05:42
Speaker
And I also came across a quote you use, you said, when you have, you said, when you listen to God in spirit, all things are possible.
00:05:50
Speaker
So whatever God or whatever spirit was telling you in the moment, allow you to relocate to change your environment, to change your life.

Feminine Principles and Energetic Balance

00:06:00
Speaker
Yeah, yeah.
00:06:01
Speaker
Congratulations to that.
00:06:02
Speaker
And that's beautiful because I think also we don't take ownership of those decisions.
00:06:07
Speaker
We just like, oh, this is what I have to do.
00:06:08
Speaker
But that's like a really good decision.
00:06:10
Speaker
That was part of where you are today.
00:06:14
Speaker
You know, like those little finite decisions is good for you being queen.
00:06:21
Speaker
And you know, the root word of a decision means to cut.
00:06:25
Speaker
And so like, you know, a decision is really different than like a want or a wish or a hope.
00:06:29
Speaker
Like when you make those decisions for yourself, you, you cut away the old way of being or the beliefs that don't serve you.
00:06:38
Speaker
You know, I don't think any successful person hasn't not taken a risk on themselves, you know?
00:06:45
Speaker
So yes, it's like, and I'm still taking risks on myself, you know?
00:06:49
Speaker
It's like to keep going to the next level, you got to keep making those decisions and get rid of the old and keep evolving into the new.
00:06:56
Speaker
Yeah, you know, I always say, you know, chances make champions and you have to take the chance to advance, right?
00:07:03
Speaker
You got to take the chance to advance.
00:07:05
Speaker
You got to believe in yourself.
00:07:06
Speaker
You got to have faith.
00:07:07
Speaker
You got to know that it's worth the risk and the reward.
00:07:11
Speaker
You have a book out.
00:07:12
Speaker
You know, you have a book.
00:07:13
Speaker
I have it here, right?
00:07:14
Speaker
You have a book.
00:07:17
Speaker
Yes.
00:07:18
Speaker
The Audacity to be Queen, the Unapologetic Art of Dreaming Big and Manifesting Your Most Fabulous Life.
00:07:26
Speaker
Now I really wanna, these questions might be self-explanatory or rhetorical, but I have three questions.
00:07:35
Speaker
And the three questions are very short.
00:07:37
Speaker
Why queen?
00:07:39
Speaker
Why woman?
00:07:40
Speaker
And why audacity?
00:07:42
Speaker
Love them all.
00:07:43
Speaker
Okay.
00:07:44
Speaker
So the queen part, I know there's all the yes queen all over Instagram and all that.
00:07:50
Speaker
I'm not that cool.
00:07:51
Speaker
So like I. You are though.
00:07:53
Speaker
You are.
00:07:53
Speaker
Let's not get it twisted.
00:07:54
Speaker
I suppose on your YouTube.
00:07:55
Speaker
I'm like, she lit.
00:07:56
Speaker
She lit.
00:07:58
Speaker
So I grew up in the church and I grew up reading the Bible.
00:08:02
Speaker
And so I'd always known about the story of Queen Esther.
00:08:05
Speaker
The church knows from the Bible.
00:08:06
Speaker
Jews know it from Purim.
00:08:08
Speaker
But there was one day when I was reading this story
00:08:11
Speaker
that really leapt off of the page for me.
00:08:14
Speaker
And I was like, wow, this story of Esther, though, was a true story.
00:08:17
Speaker
It's really the story of us all.
00:08:19
Speaker
It's the heroine's journey.
00:08:21
Speaker
For anyone that doesn't know the story, short version is the most unlikely candidate, this Jewish orphan girl, ends up becoming the queen of Persia.
00:08:29
Speaker
The king didn't realize she was a Jew.
00:08:32
Speaker
And she has to, there was a law issue to kill all the Jews in the land.
00:08:36
Speaker
And she has to go.
00:08:37
Speaker
and expose who she really is and reveal herself for such a time as this to really save her people.
00:08:44
Speaker
And she does, and in my book, becomes the heroine of all time.
00:08:49
Speaker
But what I realized in that was she was the unlikely candidate.
00:08:54
Speaker
And so are all of us to be living the life that we are currently living.
00:09:01
Speaker
You know, I have been the...
00:09:02
Speaker
a business coach for the last 15 years.
00:09:04
Speaker
I've never taken a business course

Empowerment and Decision-Making

00:09:05
Speaker
in my life.
00:09:05
Speaker
Like, my parents were school teachers.
00:09:07
Speaker
I have a multimillion dollar women's empowerment company.
00:09:09
Speaker
Like, I'm the most unlikely kid.
00:09:12
Speaker
I was $75,000 in debt.
00:09:14
Speaker
I wasn't the candidate that I thought would be doing this, but God thought different.
00:09:19
Speaker
And so I think that when we realize we all have a purpose, that we're all created for such a time as this, and that I say only from the position of queen can you really fulfill your calling.
00:09:32
Speaker
So it's time for us women to stop feeling significant or invisible or think that someone else knows better or is smarter or more capable or talented or any of it.
00:09:43
Speaker
And realize that that's not how God in the universe sees us.
00:09:46
Speaker
Like we are seen as masterpieces and beautiful and powerful and unique.
00:09:52
Speaker
So the queen is based on this story of ordinary women living legendary lives.
00:09:59
Speaker
So that's by queen.
00:10:01
Speaker
The other reason why I love queen is it's an archetype.
00:10:04
Speaker
And this archetype, she's not all feminine.
00:10:07
Speaker
She is the masterful blend of masculine and feminine energy.
00:10:11
Speaker
So we women get to be our full selves.
00:10:14
Speaker
We don't have to just be overdriving masculine or all like some mermaid sitting on a rock and are feminine.
00:10:19
Speaker
But we get to do both.
00:10:21
Speaker
So that's why queen.
00:10:25
Speaker
Why, what was the second one?
00:10:27
Speaker
The third one.
00:10:27
Speaker
I think I said woman and then why audacity?
00:10:30
Speaker
That word, that terminology.
00:10:31
Speaker
Oh, why women?
00:10:34
Speaker
Look at the age of queen is now.
00:10:36
Speaker
You know, we are coming out of centuries and centuries and centuries of, and this is not about male.
00:10:43
Speaker
This is about masculine rules.
00:10:45
Speaker
So inside both male and female, there are masculine and feminine energies.
00:10:50
Speaker
And it's time for feminine values, which consider the collective, you know, the masculine.
00:10:58
Speaker
What's that?
00:11:00
Speaker
I said it's time for feminine values to be valued.
00:11:03
Speaker
To light shine on it, to be empowered, to be uplifted, to say, look, I've been here this entire time I arrived.
00:11:10
Speaker
Now it's time to take my cape off, my hat.
00:11:14
Speaker
I'm going to show you what I've been this entire time because, you know, as a man, I understand as I've gotten older, the power of women, right?
00:11:23
Speaker
And not just the feminine side, but
00:11:27
Speaker
the masculinity of them driving or pushing or challenging or up-leveling their man.
00:11:33
Speaker
You know, it could just be like, you know, you got what it takes, come on.
00:11:37
Speaker
That alone from a woman's spirit is enough to make a man go do what he set out to do.
00:11:44
Speaker
You know, it's beautiful that you said that.
00:11:47
Speaker
I don't want to cut you off, but she said so many powerful things, but
00:11:51
Speaker
go back to the time for the feminine to be valued where you left off.
00:11:55
Speaker
I just want to... Yes, yes.
00:11:57
Speaker
Yeah, feminine principles take care of the collective.
00:12:01
Speaker
They take care of the community.
00:12:04
Speaker
And that's what we need in politics and economics and education and in government and, you know, across the board.
00:12:13
Speaker
We need to be more mindful of everyone versus a select few.
00:12:18
Speaker
So and then audacity, because it's audacious to disrupt the status quo.
00:12:26
Speaker
You know, I mean, these institutions, these old white men institutions, they're crumbling, but they're not going down easily.
00:12:33
Speaker
And so it's going to take.
00:12:35
Speaker
It's going to take courage.
00:12:37
Speaker
It's going to take audacity.
00:12:38
Speaker
It's going to take boldness to say, actually, I am enough.
00:12:43
Speaker
Actually, I do know enough.
00:12:44
Speaker
I'm not going to sit on the sidelines or not get involved in that conversation because I am self-depreciated and think that I don't know enough because I know the difference between right and wrong.

Challenges and Societal Conditioning

00:12:54
Speaker
I know the difference.
00:12:55
Speaker
I know how to show up and be there for someone.
00:12:57
Speaker
I know where a good allocation of money actually is.
00:13:02
Speaker
And being bold enough to say that out loud or to live it as be a living expression, it's going to take audacity because being silent and invisible isn't going to get us there.
00:13:15
Speaker
There you go.
00:13:16
Speaker
That's that's powerful.
00:13:17
Speaker
And by the way, happy belated International Women's Day.
00:13:21
Speaker
It was a few days ago.
00:13:22
Speaker
Yes.
00:13:23
Speaker
Yeah.
00:13:24
Speaker
Yes.
00:13:24
Speaker
Yes.
00:13:25
Speaker
Celebration of all women.
00:13:27
Speaker
but I think you said a word.
00:13:29
Speaker
And I like to look at things like big picture, but then I also like to break them down.
00:13:34
Speaker
You said queen, and that word alone has a vibration to it.
00:13:38
Speaker
So when you think of yourself as a queen, that's a certain frequency that you vibrate in versus, you know, not to a princess or prince.
00:13:46
Speaker
But when you live from that queen perspective, if you know any young women out there, ladies, what is it like to be a queen in your mind?
00:13:54
Speaker
And then if you live from that point,
00:13:57
Speaker
your responsibilities, how you show up, your audacity to take full advantage of your advantages, your life will change.
00:14:06
Speaker
You also talked about, I wanted to go back to that because you said it earlier.
00:14:12
Speaker
Why do you think in general, but more so for women, why do you think is it a taught thing, program, condition?
00:14:20
Speaker
Some women, because I can't say all women, but some women naturally give their power away.
00:14:25
Speaker
Without knowing it subconsciously, they just give it away.
00:14:27
Speaker
Is it because they want to do that and submit and say you have it?
00:14:32
Speaker
Or they don't understand the masculinity and the femininity and how it all goes hand in hand.
00:14:38
Speaker
Well, I think that depending on how you were raised and where you grew up and what you were taught, something I write about in chapter three of my book.
00:14:46
Speaker
So I grew up in the church, which created kind of this like good girl mentality for me.
00:14:53
Speaker
Like I took that route.
00:14:54
Speaker
So I call it compliance.
00:14:56
Speaker
I was like the way I was going to be safe in the world or accepted and all that.
00:15:01
Speaker
Like I did what everyone said, which by definition,
00:15:12
Speaker
Did we lose?
00:15:13
Speaker
Let's see.
00:15:17
Speaker
Did the internet go out there for a minute?
00:15:18
Speaker
No, we're fine.
00:15:19
Speaker
Oh, we're good.
00:15:20
Speaker
Okay.
00:15:21
Speaker
So I took the good girl route and being super compliant.
00:15:25
Speaker
And it's just how I found the way to be safe in the world and to be seen and accepted.
00:15:31
Speaker
Other people take the form of defiance.
00:15:34
Speaker
They're like, I'm not someone who tells me I'm not gonna do what they tell me to do.
00:15:37
Speaker
I'm not gonna like be who they tell me to be.
00:15:39
Speaker
I'm gonna be my own person.
00:15:41
Speaker
But
00:15:41
Speaker
both even though that defiant person looks like they're living their own path they're not because it's just defying what someone else said so they're kind of two sides of the same coin where you're not really living your truth your truth is actual alliance so if you're like doing what other people want or you're like i'm not gonna do it because they said that you're still in reaction
00:16:05
Speaker
And so many people live their lives in either compliance or defiance.
00:16:11
Speaker
And the goal is to find your own alliance, like what's really true for you and to be mission led and really live by your own terms that aren't kind of hooked into someone else's belief systems.
00:16:28
Speaker
And when we can get into that space of alliance, then we are in power and not giving it away, but we are using it for good.
00:16:38
Speaker
Yeah, and it's important to know that because that defiant role, you know, I was raised by independent, strong,
00:16:48
Speaker
get it done single women, honestly.
00:16:51
Speaker
So I gravitate to a more strong archetype, more strong independence, gonna challenge me like what you doing, right?
00:16:58
Speaker
Whereas though it's nothing wrong with someone who's submissive or who's more, you know, feminine, like this is a yin and yang, right?
00:17:05
Speaker
But I think when you take the approach, because I had that rebellious approach when I was a kid, like, I don't believe that you got to show me.
00:17:12
Speaker
But I had to get to the root, where does that come from?
00:17:14
Speaker
And I think it came from when I really start peeling the layers back.
00:17:19
Speaker
I have such a strong gut feeling about what I feel that if someone says something, not that it's wrong, I want to know the information, I want to know statistics, teach me.
00:17:30
Speaker
I'm always a student.
00:17:31
Speaker
And so that, you know, trying to find an equilibrium in that balance of like,
00:17:37
Speaker
What do you want?
00:17:38
Speaker
Why do you want it?
00:17:39
Speaker
What is your intention?
00:17:40
Speaker
What is your purpose?
00:17:41
Speaker
Because Gina Daveed, we know she's a powerhouse.
00:17:44
Speaker
She's all about empowerment, the audacity to be queen, but you might not want that.
00:17:49
Speaker
But what is your queen?
00:17:50
Speaker
What is your audacity?
00:17:51
Speaker
What is your power?
00:17:53
Speaker
And I think when you break it down and you give people the opportunity with your platform and your book,
00:17:58
Speaker
it makes people think differently.
00:18:00
Speaker
And I think that's where we gotta go in consciousness and the universe because women are empowered and they're making more money and they're in leadership positions and they're winning and they're thriving.
00:18:13
Speaker
I do wanna connect on a space where I'm seeing a lot of women getting to the top, but I'm also seeing some men not liking it, right?
00:18:23
Speaker
Feeling less than or trying to belittle the women that's in power,
00:18:29
Speaker
What is the balance that men and women need to have when I can't say the roles are reversed, but it's just different to have a successful relationship because most times I run into women who are highly successful business, even friends, mutual friends of others.
00:18:47
Speaker
And they're looking to date, they're looking to, you know, be with someone.
00:18:51
Speaker
And they always say, I'm just too much for a man or I'm too strong, you can't handle me or, you know, all these terminologies and narratives we create.
00:19:01
Speaker
What is that and how can women and men understand the position a woman might be in and how can she understand what she really wants in a man if she is in that dominant role at work?
00:19:14
Speaker
But maybe when she want to come home, she want to kind of be less of dominant.
00:19:18
Speaker
I don't know.
00:19:19
Speaker
I just want to know from your experience and from how you see it.
00:19:22
Speaker
Sure.
00:19:22
Speaker
Well, there's a couple things.
00:19:23
Speaker
So let's first discuss within male and female, there's masculine and feminine energy.
00:19:29
Speaker
So the masculine energy is the concrete, the tangible, logical, linear, practical, predictable.
00:19:37
Speaker
It's I'll see it when I believe it.
00:19:40
Speaker
It's the provider, the protector energy.
00:19:43
Speaker
But ultimately, masculinity is about giving.
00:19:48
Speaker
The feminine in male or female is the nonlinear.
00:19:53
Speaker
It's about feeling versus thinking.
00:19:55
Speaker
It's about being versus doing.
00:19:57
Speaker
It's the creative, the passionate, the soulful, the invisible, the spiritual, and ultimately femininity is about receiving.
00:20:08
Speaker
That's powerful.
00:20:10
Speaker
Hold on.
00:20:11
Speaker
That's a tweetable moment.
00:20:12
Speaker
It's just not going over.
00:20:14
Speaker
So Sundays, but you see how you just broke that?
00:20:17
Speaker
You just shifted my paradigm.
00:20:20
Speaker
The masculine is giving.
00:20:22
Speaker
The feminine is receiving.
00:20:24
Speaker
And that just made me understand my entire life why I want to give so much.
00:20:31
Speaker
And my challenge has been I didn't know how to receive.
00:20:35
Speaker
So now that I'm allowing my feminine side of life,
00:20:37
Speaker
Let go, let God.
00:20:40
Speaker
Let someone to give to you so you can receive and then it's balanced.
00:20:45
Speaker
That is so beautiful.
00:20:46
Speaker
I hope that's in the book.
00:20:47
Speaker
I hope that's in the book with your name.
00:20:50
Speaker
The whole chart and everything.
00:20:52
Speaker
I got you, Eric.
00:20:53
Speaker
Yeah.
00:20:54
Speaker
Yeah, so people think mothers of small children are feminine.
00:20:59
Speaker
They're not.
00:21:00
Speaker
They're constantly organizing, doing, providing, protecting.
00:21:03
Speaker
They're completely in their masculine.
00:21:07
Speaker
Most of us have seen people in positions of power be masculine.
00:21:13
Speaker
They're initiating, they're in charge, they're speaking up, they're, it's that.
00:21:17
Speaker
So we've all,
00:21:20
Speaker
veered towards or wanted to be more masculine because that looked like the more successful, powerful place to be.
00:21:26
Speaker
So what does that do?
00:21:27
Speaker
That creates, if ultimately masculinity is about giving, we're all more comfortable giving, leading, initiating, all of that stuff.
00:21:36
Speaker
So just even think about like a birthday present.
00:21:40
Speaker
Like we're so excited to go like get a birthday present for our mom, our best friend, like whoever, and we can't wait to give it to them.
00:21:48
Speaker
But just think about what's it like when someone else is so excited to give you a present, you're like,
00:21:54
Speaker
Do I open it here?
00:21:56
Speaker
Is it OK?
00:21:57
Speaker
Like, oh, but I should give you something.
00:21:59
Speaker
Like, we're so awkward about it.
00:22:02
Speaker
I mean, and women, I think more than men in general.
00:22:04
Speaker
But like, women are tough to be able to receive.
00:22:08
Speaker
Like, we can't receive a compliment, visibility, pay that's worthy of us.
00:22:13
Speaker
Like, that's all due to the injured feminine instinct.
00:22:17
Speaker
Mm-hmm.
00:22:18
Speaker
have it to whatever degree as well.
00:22:20
Speaker
If you always have to be the one doing, giving, picking up the tab, like whatever it is, we both need a balance of that masculine and the feminine.
00:22:30
Speaker
It's like breathing in and breathing out.
00:22:33
Speaker
So Western culture is just addicted to all things masculine, which is why everyone's so busy and everyone's so doing in a doing mode.
00:22:43
Speaker
But I say busy is boring.
00:22:45
Speaker
And the more present we can actually be so that we can receive each other and receive the moment and get great at receiving our self-worth, a compliment, a paycheck, love, whatever it is, then this creates for a more whole individual.

Spiritual Connection and Personal Growth

00:23:04
Speaker
beautifully said because I had a moment this morning I got auditioned I knew I had to interview I had a client I had to get myself together and I told myself I said relax what you in such a rush for take your time
00:23:23
Speaker
You do not have to respond to those text messages.
00:23:26
Speaker
You do not have to respond.
00:23:27
Speaker
What's more important?
00:23:29
Speaker
What is priority?
00:23:30
Speaker
And I think when you were talking, I got an epiphany about how we can receive through spirit, right?
00:23:38
Speaker
So the way you receive through spirit, and it can come through meditation, but it all comes through just being present and being calm and just feeling
00:23:49
Speaker
Okay, it feels like you're overwhelmed, you have a lot going on, but when you take a few deep breaths, you can pray, you can meditate, then you'll know how to move.
00:23:56
Speaker
You'll know what to do and when to do it.
00:23:58
Speaker
And then you can set your intentions instead of, oh, I got to do this.
00:24:01
Speaker
I have to, you know, slow down.
00:24:05
Speaker
And that's all part of
00:24:08
Speaker
Okay, you're giving, but you also need to receive from spirit.
00:24:11
Speaker
And that's messages, there's downloads, there's information, there's inclinations, there's, you know, serpendipity, right?
00:24:19
Speaker
All these things we don't think about.
00:24:22
Speaker
Miracles.
00:24:23
Speaker
Miracles, it's a miracle season.
00:24:25
Speaker
The audacity to be a miracle.
00:24:27
Speaker
So this is so profound.
00:24:30
Speaker
What is your message to any young women out there going through a very tough hardship of letting go and not only being able to receive, but give their self the opportunity to be queen, to be powerful.
00:24:45
Speaker
And they know they should do it.
00:24:46
Speaker
And they got the information and they read the books and they took the courses and they're in your mastermind.
00:24:51
Speaker
but they still just can't shift and get into, you know, that gear to kind of like pull off and drive, right?
00:25:00
Speaker
What is the inspiration?
00:25:01
Speaker
What is the message that you could give to someone in that space?
00:25:05
Speaker
It's all about spiritual connection.
00:25:08
Speaker
Spirituality is your superpower.
00:25:09
Speaker
We draw on our humanness too much.
00:25:15
Speaker
We feel anxiety, we feel depression, we freak out because there's a limit to the mortal human.
00:25:24
Speaker
But it's the spirit that's in us but not of us that is tapped into the limitedness and the infinite, which is what we're really seeking.
00:25:35
Speaker
When we get up and know how our day is going to go or how our life's going to go, that's just flat.
00:25:39
Speaker
There's a cap on it.
00:25:40
Speaker
We want to do it.
00:25:42
Speaker
Wonder surprise the miraculous and that only comes from the infinite that only comes from source So if we're not opened up to infinite possibility We kind of should be depressed or anxious because then we just kind of like figure our lives out all on our own, right?
00:26:04
Speaker
That is so true.
00:26:05
Speaker
When we know what's going to happen, it's flatline, it's boring.
00:26:10
Speaker
There's, it goes back to, I'm taking it back to relationships.
00:26:14
Speaker
And I'm not saying that this is for everyone and just life, right?
00:26:17
Speaker
I'm not going to talk about pain and talk about trauma.
00:26:19
Speaker
you know, what I've realized as a man when you're giving or you're making a woman or something so much your attention and like, that's great, right?
00:26:28
Speaker
But people also appreciate a challenge.
00:26:31
Speaker
People also appreciate another side to your existence.
00:26:34
Speaker
So is there any theory or experiences you have?
00:26:38
Speaker
Because I've experienced like,
00:26:42
Speaker
People who are successful, who are driven, who win, they go through some type of pain, some type of trauma.
00:26:49
Speaker
There's something there that's lighting them up.
00:26:54
Speaker
And then some people don't really have much of that.

Living Vibrantly at Any Age

00:26:57
Speaker
And it's not that they don't want greatness, but they don't have an anchor to kind of push them.
00:27:02
Speaker
Have you seen that in like working with clients or just with yourself?
00:27:05
Speaker
Like you had your $75,000 in debt.
00:27:08
Speaker
That like, yo, I'm tired of this.
00:27:09
Speaker
I'm angry.
00:27:10
Speaker
I'm flush.
00:27:11
Speaker
I'm going to LA.
00:27:13
Speaker
You know, so do you feel like we need that as human beings?
00:27:16
Speaker
Like you said, the whole, if we knew what our life was, it would be boring.
00:27:18
Speaker
So do you feel like we need a challenge for change?
00:27:23
Speaker
Well, they say you can learn through love or learn through pain.
00:27:27
Speaker
I think I've only known how to really learn through pain until now.
00:27:33
Speaker
I'm getting a little better at learning through love.
00:27:36
Speaker
So first of all, every human has experienced trauma.
00:27:41
Speaker
Like they're like, let's, you know, some of them are,
00:27:47
Speaker
more dramatic than others.
00:27:49
Speaker
But you know, trauma can be like what society labels as the bigger devastations.
00:27:55
Speaker
But it's also traumatizing to not get invited to the birthday party when you're eight years old.
00:28:01
Speaker
Or when someone says that was a stupid question, or you don't belong.
00:28:07
Speaker
That's also traumatizing.
00:28:09
Speaker
So when we get that what we've been through, what we've overcome,
00:28:16
Speaker
So has everyone else.
00:28:18
Speaker
It's like everyone has a story.
00:28:21
Speaker
And I do believe that some people give up a little more easily, that some people have let themselves become bitter.
00:28:33
Speaker
Some people have certainly when you get to a certain age, like you forget to dream.
00:28:40
Speaker
You forget to ask for a miracle.
00:28:42
Speaker
And so as much as I love my millennial followers and my 20-somethings, you know, like...
00:28:51
Speaker
It didn't take a lot for me to shine my light in my 20s.
00:28:56
Speaker
I think looking at people who are still shining their light at 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, that deserves some real respect because it takes tapping in spiritually to remember to dream, to remember to ask for a miracle.
00:29:12
Speaker
I was talking to someone the other day and she's like,
00:29:15
Speaker
Well, you know, Janet, now that you're 49, you're like, you know, kind of entering your second phase of life.
00:29:20
Speaker
So it's going to be kind of winding down or whatever.
00:29:22
Speaker
And I was like, like, what is this mentality?
00:29:25
Speaker
Like that, that's a heavy consciousness.
00:29:29
Speaker
And you put that on people and you see the weight on the bodies, right?
00:29:34
Speaker
Like you, you see people start to like literally put on weight or, or lose hope and, you
00:29:40
Speaker
something I'm so proud of, like, 40- and 50-year-old and 6-year-old and 7-year-old women right now are, like, looking better than ever.
00:29:49
Speaker
They're contributing more than ever, speaking up more than ever.
00:29:52
Speaker
Like, I mean, come on.
00:29:53
Speaker
If J-Lo can swing from that pole at, what, 52 or 53 at that Super Bowl, like, it's not the Golden Girls at 50, ladies.
00:30:01
Speaker
Like, it's like, come on.
00:30:02
Speaker
We've got lives to live.
00:30:04
Speaker
And just I think all of us really...
00:30:07
Speaker
seeing other people show up for themselves and then taking that for us and showing up also.
00:30:15
Speaker
We're the most fortunate generation of women on the planet.
00:30:19
Speaker
We're the wealthiest generation of women who have ever lived on the planet.
00:30:23
Speaker
We have more opportunity, more access to technology.
00:30:27
Speaker
People are gonna be living longer than ever.
00:30:30
Speaker
So it's like, let's seize our moment.
00:30:32
Speaker
I don't care if you're like 15 or 50 or like whatever it is.

Spiritual vs. Financial Wealth

00:30:37
Speaker
God's not like, geez, I'd really like to do something with your life, but you're 67.
00:30:43
Speaker
Like where?
00:30:44
Speaker
What?
00:30:45
Speaker
Like if you, I don't know if you follow Real Talk Kim, but she's like, if you have a pole to God.
00:30:50
Speaker
Yeah, she's powerful.
00:30:52
Speaker
She's powerful.
00:30:55
Speaker
Yeah, it makes sense.
00:31:00
Speaker
And I think what I realized in my journey in life,
00:31:04
Speaker
You know, the older I get and the more I experience and I'm around very successful, uber successful people who are in their 60s or in their 70s who've been making tons of money for years.
00:31:14
Speaker
And I always try to look at like, what's the difference between people who make a lot or do a lot in life versus people who don't?
00:31:20
Speaker
And I realize there's mentality.
00:31:22
Speaker
But I'm also realizing that some people who are at the top, who might have the financial literacy or currency, they don't have spiritual currency.
00:31:32
Speaker
Right.
00:31:33
Speaker
And so what I think as men and just as a culture, as people, that's what a real wealth is, spiritual wealth, because then that's how you get your true essence of your richness, your business, your empowerment, because that currency speaks to you more and gives you more life.
00:31:53
Speaker
sometimes more than a physical, because you can spend a physical and still feel empty, make it and still feel empty.
00:32:00
Speaker
But when you're in alignment and that's your excitement from the spiritual space.
00:32:04
Speaker
And I think that's where without putting so much connotation on it,
00:32:08
Speaker
Like, oh, you've got to be Catholic, Buddhism or Christian, whatever.
00:32:14
Speaker
Like whatever spirituality is to you, within you, for you, through you, connecting to that can help you connect to things outside

Connecting with the Audience and Conclusion

00:32:22
Speaker
of yourself.
00:32:22
Speaker
And I think you said that like four times and it makes me think,
00:32:27
Speaker
Even when I was watching YouTube I was like, I understand her energy.
00:32:31
Speaker
She is like when you're speaking, you're not speaking from the physical, you're really channeling and speaking from your higher self.
00:32:39
Speaker
And it's felt and it's heard and it's seen.
00:32:44
Speaker
more women and men and we can adapt that part of life because we talk about, you know, love, health, fulfillment, right, success or happiness, I think spirituality need to be added to that because that drives everything else for us to have an audacity to be queen and king.
00:33:05
Speaker
I feel like you got a whole nother series.
00:33:07
Speaker
You could do one for men like what Steve Harvey did for Think Like a Man or something he said.
00:33:13
Speaker
it's the principles are still a tangible for men to kind of understand as well.
00:33:19
Speaker
And I'm just thankful for your presence, your existence.
00:33:23
Speaker
More like I have three sisters, you know, I was raised by a single mother and I'm definitely gonna tell my sisters to follow you and tap into whatever program gets your book.
00:33:32
Speaker
Thank you.
00:33:32
Speaker
Because you, you've done the work and you understand it.
00:33:37
Speaker
So when you're in someone's life,
00:33:39
Speaker
you're not only impacting them from speaking and giving them just existing your presence.
00:33:45
Speaker
And I think as all people we have that innate power within us we just have to tap into it.
00:33:52
Speaker
I think it's very important.
00:33:54
Speaker
Yes.
00:33:55
Speaker
Well, thank you so much for that, Eric, and for the work that you do and just the loving platform that you've created so publicly for people to really access their best life, their miracles, and that's something else.
00:34:09
Speaker
We're just out of that no pain, no gain mentality.
00:34:14
Speaker
Now we get to spend time and space and really be in that spiritual realm where we all are worthy and we all deserve to receive.
00:34:24
Speaker
Yes, because, you know, you just gave a gem.
00:34:27
Speaker
The masculine is giving and the feminine is receiving.
00:34:30
Speaker
We need both, the dichotomy.
00:34:32
Speaker
So what is something that you got?
00:34:35
Speaker
We got the book, but what is something you're working on, something you got going on that people should know about?
00:34:40
Speaker
How can we find you?
00:34:41
Speaker
I know we have your Instagram, but whatever platforms are you on?
00:34:44
Speaker
Are you on TikTok?
00:34:46
Speaker
Are you on Twitter?
00:34:47
Speaker
Do you have a woman's group?
00:34:49
Speaker
Like, where else do people know?
00:34:51
Speaker
Yeah, I know you have a podcast.
00:34:52
Speaker
It's Divine Living or Loving.
00:34:54
Speaker
Yep.
00:34:54
Speaker
Yep.
00:34:54
Speaker
Yep.
00:34:55
Speaker
Yeah.
00:34:57
Speaker
You can follow me on Instagram here at Gina DeVee.
00:35:00
Speaker

00:35:24
Speaker
I do live calls in there once a month.
00:35:27

00:35:38

00:35:40
Speaker
DM us.
00:35:41
Speaker
It's really about spreading this message of love and inspiration and the possibility for everyone to live their best lives.
00:35:50
Speaker
Yes, it's so important to know that someone is living their best life and been doing it for years and have the tools, you know, and the intangible, you know, techniques for people to get that because everybody needs a plan to execute for action.
00:36:05
Speaker
So thank you, Gina.
00:36:07
Speaker
Dubby, I love the last name.
00:36:11
Speaker
She's a queen and she's being, being it, not doing it.
00:36:18
Speaker
She is human.
00:36:19
Speaker
Superwoman.
00:36:22
Speaker
Phenomenal women.
00:36:23
